U.S. military planes fly in formation high above the mooring mast at the top of the Empire State Building, August 1, 1947. This was part of the 40th anniversary celebration of the establishment of a special air branch within the Army Signal Corps, which eventually became the Army Air Forces and then the U.S. Air Force.

Hi guys, earlier today I posted a pic. It was 3 pics in one. It turns out they had been manipulated. No surprise, right. I have a really good Tumblr friend on here who is an active duty marine, he's also a pilot for the marines. In addition he also had a great blog here that I highly recommend. Just follow this link, @texasaggie-seaknight.

He's the one that alerted me. I have since deleted the post and an going to replace it with these great pics of the same guy instead. I'm also going to include some of Jeff's words,
Howdy Chuck! Hope your havin’ a good week. Just wanted to share info on a photo manipulation ya posted.
This guy in the pic is actually a friend of mine. His name is Cannon Wolfmartz and he’s a former USMC firefighter here on Camp Pendleton. He recently separated from the MC and is now an Air Force Reservist and college student living in Temecula, CA and is openly gay.
Nice guy but the posted face is not his.(I deleted the wrong pics) The real guy is cute so not sure why they changed it out. Above are real pics of Cannon. Be sure to give Jeff a follow, and thank him for his service! @texasaggie-seaknight
