On a plot of farmland near the beach, my family sets up their modest tent. This place has become a shelter for my family after the devastating war forced them out of their warm home. Now, they suffer the hardships of living in a tent, which neither shields them from the heat of summer nor protects them from the harsh cold of winter.
My older brother says that he had to buy a tent for 3,600 shekels ($1,000) after enduring for a long time in a makeshift shelter, made of wooden sticks covered with a piece of nylon, a blanket, or any worn-out fabric. The problem with such a shelter is that it provides little cover, and if you need to move, it’s impossible to take it with you. So, you leave it behind and move to another area. This happened to him at least twice, prompting him to search for a tent that could be easily moved whenever the war forced him to relocate.
After getting the tent, a new struggle begins: finding a place to pitch it. It’s as if life has returned to a primitive state—no kitchen, no bathroom, no water taps. This is how my brother describes the hardship of living in the tent.
A tent is even harsher than the idea of a shared room in a stranger’s house, as it means that the bathroom will be inside the tent itself, set up in a primitive way. Otherwise, you’ll have to use a shared bathroom located half a kilometer away, set up by a charity organization. You have to carry a plastic jug or bottle of water with you. If a woman needs to use the bathroom at night, she can’t leave the tent alone without waking one of the men to accompany her in the embarrassing walk through the tents to reach the makeshift bathroom, which consists of a marble seat surrounded by fabric or rusty tin sheets. And the story doesn’t end there.
This is what my family’s nights in Gaza look like. More pain!
I urge you to look at my displaced and torn family with mercy and give them the chance to continue their lives in peace. I now stand before you with hope, seeking help for what remains of my family to provide them with a better life and to allow them to live in safety and peace.

The Lubna Family's Story
Lubna is a wife and mother of three children, ages 8, Nasser, 4, and Kinda, 3. Her son Nasser has been sick since his birth, with thyroid problems that have led to mental retardation and delayed growth. He needs treatment and medical care that has no longer been available since the beginning of the war on Gaza. This is in addition to their beautiful house, which was completed a few days before the war. Their house was destroyed due to air strikes. She and her five family members were displaced inside Gaza more than 5 times. They are currently located in Deir al-Balah they live in very harsh conditions in tents that do not protect them from the heat of summer or the cold of winter, in addition to difficult health conditions, lack of potable water, and lack of hygiene.
Lubna is collecting donations to cover her sick child's treatment expenses and to cover her family's needs while they are in Gaza and for their subsequent evacuation. Currently, their goal is set at 16 thousand pounds. We can definitely get them there! Here is the link to their fundraiser

Amal's story
Donation Link
Amal was fired from her job months ago, around the same time she created her family’s GoFundMe campaign. Currently, she works three jobs—and essentially a fourth if we count her efforts to support her family online. She is overworked, overstressed, overtired, and needs help spreading the word and gathering donations to help her family survive in Egypt.
Earlier this year, Amal managed to evacuate her family. But as is well known, life in Egypt remains challenging for Palestinians: they cannot legally hold jobs, earn income, or access the same state services available to citizens. Amal’s family—her sisters and parents—are 100% dependent on her support.
Amal urgently needs financial assistance to cover her sister’s school fees, food, rent, and other essential needs. Her struggle has been compounded by a significant financial scam during her family’s displacement, which left her short of vital funds.
Eman, Amal’s younger sister, was studying German before the crisis began, and Tala, the youngest sister, is in high school, doing her best to study abroad in Egypt.
Although the family reached their initial financial goal for evacuation and managed to sustain themselves for several months, their funds are nearly depleted, and they now need additional support. Amal’s current goal is $5,000 to help her sister Eman afford university in Germany and to continue supporting her family in Egypt.
Please consider donating to support the Abushammala family. You can find Amal’s GoFundMe link on line 24 of the Vetted Gaza Evacuation Fundraiser List Spreadsheet.

The story of the Mahmoud family is one of immense hardship
They were forced to flee their home in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood of Gaza as missiles and bombs fell around them. Seeking refuge, they moved to Nuseirat, a location considered to be a safe zone, but their temporary shelter was directly targeted in an airstrike. This attack led to the tragic death of an entire family in the neighboring apartment, and in the appartment where mahmoud family the martyrdom of a woman and her two children and they suffered severe and moderate injuries across the family members.
Since then, they have been displaced over 10 times, fleeing from relentless and random bombardments wherever they sought refuge. Their most recent displacement occurred after their tent was destroyed in yet another airstrike. Now, they are homeless and stranded in an uninhabitable location in Nuseirat.
We are asking for your support in helping the Mahmoud family. Any contribution can make a significant difference. The family consists of 17 people, including 10 children. Your help can bring them much-needed relief during this difficult time."

I'll keep this short: Nour's campaign has been stagnating and Tumblr keeps banning her accounts. If you can, please consider donating. She has five young children to care for (one immunocompromised), and many members of her extended family—who were already poor before the war broke out—now rely on this fundraiser to make it through the winter.
Currently: $34,770 / $90,000

Going to the doctor, taking medecine and resting are common responses to getting sick. Even with all of this it can still be a hassle to deal with.
Imagine then not being able to do any of this : not having any doctor who can help you, medecine being so expensive you can't afford them, not being able to rest because your family's livelihood depends on you and you have exams and you don't know when the army may bomb your house or shoot at you. That's what Shahed (@shahdhatem) is going through right now. She is taking her exams while being sick and the sole provider of her family of 7 at only 20 years old. Their only income is their fundraiser but donations have almost stopped. This means for them no income to buy food, medecine and even less to evacuate.
Please help them, not only her physical health is affected but she is getting increasingly scared of the lack of donations. Share, make your own posts, donate whatever you can please.
She needs to get to $30k by October 31st, still $3,943 left !

While you answer this poll, can we help my friend Nader?
Nader is a 17 years old Palestinian boy stuck in Gaza with his whole family; infants, young teenagers and a cancer patient (his father, Ahmed) included.
Nader should be focusing on things such as graduating high school, his friendships, and other normal things for any other 17 years old kid. Instead, he spends every waking second trying to save his entire family from a ruthless genocide.
Let's give Nad a chance to follow his dreams of going to university. Let's give his very small siblings a chance to know of a life free of bombings and shootings. Let's give his father the opportunity to deal with his cancer with dignity and an actual fighting chance.
Ever since I started campaigning with Nad we've quadrupled the amount they had raised previously. We've given him immense hope, we can't now take him down after achieving that.
His uncle was martyred last week. Anything can happen any moment from now. We need to reach their goal as soon as possible to make sure everyone in this beautiful family can evacuate.
This campaign is verified, it's the 4th campaign in this spreadsheet.
Donations have slowed down significantly, please help us.

Under the constant threat of guns, killings, and arbitrary arrests and torture, the people of Jabalia are walking past tanks and heavy occupation machinery, holding their ID cards in their hands, just trying to survive this deadly journey. My camp… it’s pure heartbreak. 💔😔 My family, uncles, cousins, neighbors, friends, and schoolmates—all of them, living in fear. My heart aches for them.
Gaza is being wiped out. We desperately need your support, in any way you can—whether it’s a donation, sharing our story, or simply spreading the word about our families. It means the world to us. Even a kind word lifts our spirits. Thank you, our hearts are breaking for our loved ones.💔

Ghada's Journey from Gaza:
A Plea to Save My Family from the Horrors of War
Hello, my name is Ghada, I am 32 years old,
and I once lived a life full of hope and ambition.
I studied Information Technology and earned my bachelor’s degree, working for a private company for some time. But when the war in Gaza erupted, the company stopped operating and was completely destroyed, leaving me without a job and no place to work 💔.
As the bombing intensified and the violence escalated, we were forced to flee our beautiful home, which was completely destroyed, to the city of Rafah in southern Gaza. We lived in a small tent barely a few meters wide, but even that was not enough. We were forced to flee again to central Gaza, where we now live in a school for displaced people, moving from one place to another without knowing when this tragic journey will end 💔🏚️.
My father, Nabil, who is 62 years old, used to own an aluminum workshop, but it was destroyed during the war. My mother, Fatima, 57 years old, faces daily struggles with the lack of electricity and the closure of bakeries. At their age, my parents suffer greatly from the constant displacement and the challenges of moving from place to place 🚶♂️🚶♀️.
My younger brother, Khaled, 23 years old, graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and worked at a contracting company before the war took away his job and shattered his dreams. Despite this, Khaled now bears the responsibility of providing for our basic needs like food and water, trying to keep our family afloat under these harsh conditions 🍞💧.
I also have two married brothers, Mohamed and Ahed, who live with us in the same displacement location with their children (Lama, Nabil, and Amir) and (Fatima, Eman, and Noor). The children, having lost their toys and games, have found some joy playing with the pets 🐾, trying to find happiness in the darkest of times.
But the bitter reality is that we are living in an uninhabitable environment. Diseases and insects are widespread, and sewage water floods the area around us. The children, who should be focused on learning and playing, now suffer from malnutrition and disease. Recently, the spread of the polio virus among them has only added to their pain and suffering 🦠😔.
Life here no longer meets basic human dignity. We live without clean water, without a home, without even the basics of survival. Our children have no education, no toys, no new clothes, not even shoes to protect their feet. Skin diseases, malnutrition, and polluted water and food are our daily reality. We are living in inhumane conditions in every sense of the word, and we beg you not to forget us 🙏.
All we hope for now is to find safety, to not die before we can escape or move to a safer place. But even that simple right seems impossible. We need your help to raise the money needed to cross the Rafah border between Gaza and Egypt, where the coordination cost for one person ranges between $5,000 and $7,000.
We are trying to hold on to hope 🌟, trying our best to find safety for ourselves and our children. With your support, we might just achieve that. Every share of this story, every donation, every bit of help can make a huge difference.
Please, help us raise our voices, and help us save our family 🙏💙.

Dear friends and supporters,
I am reaching out with an urgent plea to help my family escape the hardships they face daily in Gaza by relocating to Egypt. With your generosity, we have raised 24% of the total amount needed, but we still have a long way to go. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a huge difference. If you're unable to contribute financially, please consider sharing this message to spread the word. Your support can bring my family one step closer to safety and hope.
Thank you for standing with us during this challenging time.
Warm regards,
Ahmed abushammala

EMERGENCY: DON’T SKIP
Mahmoud’s family needs your continued attention!!
Despite the fact that I get notifications on this post every day, the donations don’t reflect it. Mahmoud (@ma7moudgaza2)’s fundraiser has slowed down dangerously. This cannot do.
Winters in Gaza are brutal, and Mahmoud, who has been campaigning painstakingly for months, needs your help to survive! He needs to reach his second short term goal of $2000 USD to provide for daily expenses, warm clothes and supplies, and most importantly basic needs like milk and diapers for his children!!
We cannot afford to let Mahmoud’s campaign stagnate. His situation is dire! Have some compassion and put yourself in his shoes! I promise you your money won’t go to waste, as he has 20 family members to provide for- 10 of whom are children!! No one deserves to live like this, without access to any basic needs- much less children!!
I hope the urgency of his situation is clear to you all! Please, please, please DONATE AND SHARE TO WHOEVER YOU CAN, mutuals, family and friends, whoever can help- as the smallest amount can go a long way to helping him reach his goal!!
Currently at $13,700 on the GFM. Let us raise at least $2k and help him reach $15,700
