TW: Violence/gore, animal harming, body horror
Tumblr media
ANM-682: "Laughing Swine"
Danger Level: RHTL (Rural Horror Threat Level) 🌲 | Uncontained ❌️
Insalubrity Level: 40%
Lead Researcher: Dr. Öctavio Kalev
Anomaly Type: Rural, predatory, bestial
Containment: ANM-682 is currently uncontrolled and highly dangerous. Due to its rural and remote nature, containment efforts are focused on monitoring rural areas in the Brazilian states of Minas Gerais, Bahia, and along the division between Piauí and Ceará. All reports of nocturnal attacks or sightings of giant pigs should be immediately investigated by the Elite Task Force "Foxhound" and the "Sewer Worms" Task Force, specialized in rural anomalies.
Local authorities and the public should be misled with stories of a dangerous escaped animal and should not approach or engage with ANM-682 under any circumstances. A network of Institute secret agents must be positioned in key villages and towns to track ANM-682’s movements and report any anomalies. Due to the difficulty of conventional tracking methods, a joint task force is working on developing a specialized tracking system based on pheromones.
If ANM-682 is found, personnel must maintain a distance of at least 200 meters and avoid all direct visual and auditory contact with the humanoid entity residing in ANM-682-1.
Description: ANM-682 consists of two distinct entities, identified as ANM-682-1 and ANM-682-2.
ANM-682-1 is a large, abnormally large pig, approximately 3 meters long and weighing over 1,200 kg. Its abdomen is crudely stitched with thick, rusted wire, indicating a recent and likely amateur attempt at surgery. ANM-682-1's skin is heavily scarred and discolored, displaying patches of necrotic tissue and purulent wounds, emitting a nauseating stench that can cause nausea and dizziness in those nearby.
The primary anomalous property of ANM-682-1 is its ability to sustain ANM-682-2, which resides within its abdominal cavity. ANM-682-1 appears to be in a constant state of distress, producing low, painful grunts interspersed with sharp squeals whenever ANM-682-2 is active. Despite its apparent suffering, ANM-682-1 is highly aggressive and will attack anyone approaching within a 50-meter radius, using its considerable bulk to trample, bite, or headbutt its targets.
ANM-682-2 is a human with severe physical disabilities, estimated to be in its late 30s, measuring approximately 1.50m. ANM-682-2 suffers from a multitude of chronic illnesses and physical deformities, including polio, genu recurvatum (backward-bent knees), and severe malnutrition. It is covered in scar tissue and old wounds, indicating long-term physical trauma.
ANM-682-2 is characterized by a continuous high-pitched laugh, similar to a pig's squeal, which it emits constantly while inside ANM-682-1. This laughter has a profound psychological effect on those who hear it, inducing severe anxiety, paranoia, and auditory hallucinations in exposed individuals. These symptoms usually escalate to full-blown psychosis if exposure exceeds 10 minutes.
During nighttime hours (between 21:00 and 04:00 local time), ANM-682-2 will exit ANM-682-1 through a large, torn cut in its abdomen. Covered in blood and organic fluids, ANM-682-2 will begin stalking rural communities, searching for human prey. It exhibits extreme agility and speed despite its physical disabilities, moving with an abnormally fluid and rapid gait, often running quadrupedally due to its bent knees.
ANM-682-2 is known to enter the homes of sleeping individuals, where it attacks them in their beds, targeting the limbs and facial features of its victims. ANM-682-2’s jaw is abnormally developed, capable of exerting immense pressure and chewing through bone and resistant organic material. This, combined with its resistance to damage, suggests a form of adaptation to its horrific dietary habits.
After consuming a sufficient amount of human flesh, ANM-682-2 will return to ANM-682-1 and forcibly re-enter its abdominal cavity. ANM-682-1 will then flee the scene, usually disappearing into densely forested or isolated areas.
Addendum 682-1: Incident Log
Incident 682-07-A:
Date: 08/23/2023
Location: Rural community near Montes Claros, Minas Gerais.
Description: Several reports of loud, animalistic laughter were received by local police over three nights. The following morning, the mutilated bodies of three farmers were discovered in their homes. The victims exhibited extensive trauma to the shoulders and face, consistent with ANM-682-2’s attack patterns. Surveillance footage captured ANM-682-2 entering one of the houses, but as usual, the image quality was too poor to provide useful identification. Agents on-site confirmed ANM-682's presence, and containment efforts were initiated.
Incident 682-09-B:
Date: 09/15/2023
Location: Surroundings of Bom Jesus do Piauí.
Description: A family of five was attacked in their sleep by ANM-682-2. The father, who survived the encounter, described ANM-682-2 as “the devil itself, with twisted legs, a mouth full of broken teeth, long hair, and exposed ribs, laughing like a pig.” Despite severe injuries, he managed to fend off ANM-682-2 with a shotgun, causing the entity to quickly retreat into a nearby forest. ANM-682-1 was seen retreating into dense brush shortly after.
Addendum 682-2: Psychological Effects
Extensive testing with Subject P personnel exposed to recordings of ANM-682-2’s laughter revealed a consistent pattern of psychological degradation. Subjects reported auditory hallucinations, including the sound of pigs grunting and human screams, even after the audio was stopped. Prolonged exposure led to violent outbursts, self-harm, and in two cases, suicide.
It is currently theorized that ANM-682-2’s laughter functions as a memetic hazard, potentially linked to the anomalous properties of ANM-682-1. Further research into the nature of this phenomenon is ongoing.
Addendum 682-3: Containment Efforts
Efforts to capture ANM-682-1 and ANM-682-2 have been unsuccessful. ANM-682-1 is believed to be capable of traveling long distances at high speeds, making tracking and capture extremely difficult. Current containment protocols are focused on minimizing civilian casualties and monitoring affected regions for signs of ANM-682’s presence.
Institute personnel are advised to approach all encounters with ANM-682 with extreme caution. Under no circumstances should there be direct contact with ANM-682-2. Any personnel exposed to ANM-682-2’s laughter must undergo immediate psychological evaluation and amnestic treatment as necessary.

-~+~- The Curs'ed Prince -~+~-
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
O who is he, A misty memory ?
This is the curs'ed history of the curs'ed prince of the kingdom of Pestilencia.
~+~ A terrifying birth ~+~
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Curs'ed Prince was born in the grand kingdom of Pestilencia. The cold royal family had never shown much love. Always at bloodshed for power.
Yet - perhaps befiting the name - a plague struck the land. One that wiped both royal and poor without mercy, and needing help, they reached a hand out. Offering to buy a babe out of a distant relative or another.
This was a child whose parents refused.
In an act of retaliation, the royal family sent guards and slaughtered and plundered and pillaged the town, setting it ablaze and making off with the child. Unbeknownst to them, a guard was a devout worshipper of Talona - the lady of diseases, and the very one who ran the cult who spread this plague - baptised the child in her name; the child was handed to the royal family without inquiry or suspicion.
Of course, the child grew the runt of the family. Always smaller, weaker, meaker, quieter. The royal family anme of Cruentus was bestowed upon them all, and per tradition, fighting to win was in place.
The child lost many a fight. Too scared to raise a finger. Too terrified to fight back. Diseased.
The child spent a long time within not long, the child found solace in studies. Solace in libraries. Libraries where the child was left without care - why worry over a petty runt?
So the child dabbled in the cursed magycks. Necromancy. Finding solace in the very gods who caused the plagues of before.
-~+~- Undervalued -~+~-
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As one might imagine, a kingdom which thrive off survival of the fittest did not enjoy it's few who valued kindness and studies. And so, when the next plague hit again, they were more than desperate to rid themselves of the 'leaches'.
Upon hearing of a far and distant kingdom needing a wizard to aid in a small, rubbled town, the royal family of Cruentus jumped at the opportunity to dispose themselves of the family runt.
So, off went the little wizard by long carriage, on a journey of months, to reach the land. The wizard brought little, and yet nothing was truly left behind, for they had nothing to begin with. No love adorned onto them.
-~+~- The Accurs'ed -~+~-
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The affliction leads to many things for the wizard. Prophetic visions, undending eldritch madnes - of which causes a perpetual desire to learn more and more (no matter the cost), flits of Magyck Fever, and Wilting Ways.
Prophetic Visions
|-+-> Often hard to decipher, abstract, will cause the aflicted to - awake in a cold, unyielding sweat whilst filled with anxiety. |-+-> Will predict a plethora of things to come.
Eldritch Madness
|-+-> Random bouts of visions of Ye Gods of Olde |-+-> A thirst for knowledge - especially the forbidden sort - with - little to no regards for the cost. |-+-> Rage and violence |-+-> Bloodthirst.
Magyck Fever
|-+-> Will cause the user to become infused with magic, leaving - stains of it - only visible to those with The Sight - everywhere - they touch, as well as a lingering touch of something only - theirs within the air |-+-> Long, perpetual bleeds with glowing blood |-+-> glowing eyes, hair, or markings of the skin |-+-> Large chances to have random bursts of weave attack the - vicinity |-+-> Inability to sleep for long periods of time, with no benefit.
Wilting Ways
Before one starts, one must say how the Wilting Ways may lead to many other things developing. All these previous things are of the Wilting Ways. Often caused by a God of Death, the Wilting Ways rots an afflicted from within, and requires constant care to not turn the afflicted into a walking carcass. Often the afflicted is not too indistinguishable from a Lich. It may affect in a plethora of different ways. |-+-> Rotting from within |-+-> Cold skin |-+-> Glassy, unfocused eyes |-+-> Blood with a sweet taste, and a distinctly unhuman - colouration. The blood may even have Ichor and/or glow. |-+-> Sharp canines |-+-> thirst for blood. |-+-> Needing to replace organs and/or body parts regularly |-+-> Unnaturally slow or fast healing

Global Health Equity by Johnson & Johnson
Credit – REUTERS
Step into the realm of health equity, where everybody can have a good life irrespective of their identity or origin. Johnson & Johnson has stood as an emblem of promise for the past few years towards this end. Up till today, they still serve as that promise working consistently to ensure no one is neglected or left out on their effort to achieve quality health care services. Their dedication towards global health equity remains unwavering irrespective of where they are located; be it even at far-off villages or the busiest towns, they bring light and mercy across the globe.”
Walk with us as we interrogate how Johnson & Johnson is transforming the world towards healthy and just living at the one-life level.
What is Global Health Equity?
Global Health equity means the attainment of the highest level of health for all people, where everyone has a fair and just opportunity to attain their optimal health regardless of race, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, socioeconomic status, geography, preferred language, or other factors.
In other words, you can say “Global health is an area for study, research, and practice that places a priority on improving health and achieving equity in health for all people worldwide.“
Global health equity is on the mission to radically change the way health care is delivered around the world.
CSR Projects Supported by Johnson & Johnson
Training Auxiliary Nurses and Midwives – Bringing Healthcare to India’s Rural Villages
In the villages of India, where global health equity is a pressing concern, a significant portion of the population comprises poor farm laborers or farmers with small landholdings who barely earn enough to provide for their families. As a result, many girls from these rural villages do not pursue their studies beyond secondary education due to financial constraints. They work in the fields, do household chores, and are married off at a young age.
Tumblr media
To address this, Johnson & Johnson introduced the Capacity Building of Healthcare Providers initiative, where the team works with the Indian Red Cross Society to support ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwives) training for underprivileged girls at Bel Air Hospital in Panchgani, Maharashtra, and Nellore, Andhra Pradesh.
The program fulfills two critical needs:
enhancing healthcare facilities
enabling employment opportunities for underprivileged girls in rural areas
Each year, 60 girls from each center, based on merit and economic backgrounds selected for the 2-year residential course provided free of cost. After completing the course, girls are offered job placements in village health programs under the National Rural Health Mission.
AmeriCares: Maharashtra Flood Relief Program
On 22 July 2021, torrential rains battered six districts of Maharashtra Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg Kolhapur Sangli, and Jalgaon. Heavy rainfall triggered landslides in many places and flooded the rivers, resulting in flooding of vast areas affecting lakhs of people. There was a need to provide immediate relief to the impacted people. Health and hygiene kits, safe drinking water, resting kits, shelter kits, and vector protection kits were required.
Having spent a few days in contaminated water, flood-affected communities were exposed to various diseases and there was an urgent need to provide them with primary health care services. With support from Johnson & Johnson, AMERICARES conducted a need assessment on the ground through primary and secondary data, ensuring alignment with principles of global health equity. This initiative facilitated the procurement, packaging, and transportation of relief kits.  This activity supported 6835 families of flood-affected districts.
The support provided to each family included:
Health and Hygiene kits
Resting kits
Clean water kits
Shelter kits
Indian Academy of Pediatrics Adaption of Nurturing Care for Early Child Development (IAP-Nurture-ECD)
According to the Lancet Report 2017, around 250 million (43%) children under 5 years from low- and middle-income countries (LMIC) were not reaching their expected development potential. This is because adverse factors such as poverty and stunting significantly outweigh protective ones like educated parents and stimulatory home environments. This imbalance negatively affects young children’s brain growth, physical health, and psychological development, resulting in faltering or a downward deviation of the developmental trajectory.
In early 2021, Johnson & Johnson partnered with the Indian Academy of Pediatrics to support a program on ‘Nurturing care for ECD (NC-ECD)’ to improve outcomes related to holistic child health, growth, and development, with an emphasis on early childhood (0 – 3 years), thereby advancing global health equity.
The objectives of the project are:
Capacity building of pediatricians to effectively sensitize and impart knowledge and skills to parents/caregivers
To popularize the concept of well-child visits at specific ages in which checklists can be administered to identify gaps in parental practice related to NC & ECD
To help parents develop/enhance their caregiver skills by providing NC
Prerana
This program aimed at strengthening the nutritional support provided to children in Night Care Conditions (NCCs) to help them stay healthy during pandemic times, thus contributing to global health equity. NCCs offer services such as – protected shelter, wholesome nutrition, education support, safe play options, safe sanitation options, opportunities for skill development, awareness sessions, and an overall platform for holistic personality development and growth.
Tumblr media
In collaboration with Johnson & Johnson, Prerana has been facilitating the BTE program for children from underprivileged backgrounds. Parents of these children are daily wage earners, cooks, and domestic helpers from underprivileged backgrounds.
During the pandemic, to ensure help that each child receives nutritious meals and can thrive in a healthy family, Prerna provided ration and sanitary relief kits to 300 women living in the red light area for two months.
Strengthening Anganwadi for Healthy & Educated Communities in India
Anganwadi centers play an important role in promoting the health and education of communities across India. These centers are mainly focused on early childhood care, nutrition, and basic education, particularly in rural and underserved areas.
Johnson & Johnson is in a long-term partnership with Humana People to People India, a not-for-profit organization, to strengthen the capacity of Anganwadi Centres and Government Health Centres in Ranga Reddy district of Telangana since April 2016 and in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh since April 2020, with the ultimate goal of bringing sustainable changes in maternal & child health, aligning with principles of global health equity.
Strengthening Anganwadi centers is crucial for building healthy and educated communities in India.
Strengthening community-based healthcare services for underprivileged mothers and children in Aurangabad district of Maharashtra
Healthy, empowered women and children are the center of strong families and the core of strong communities. However, some mother do not have access to healthcare support for themselves and their children. In Aurangabad, it was found that only 50% of mothers underwent antenatal care checkups(an indicator of healthcare during pregnancy) in their first trimester, and 38% of the mothers had four antenatal care visits.
To help address this gap, Johnson & Johnson has partnered with Humana People to People India, a not-for-profit organization, to help build the capacity of Government Community Health Workers (CHWs), including Auxiliary Nursing Midwives (ANM), Accredited Social Health Activist (ASHA), and Anganwadi workers in the district. The project aims to enhance maternal and child health care service delivery and reduce mortality indicators in the district. The project will cover 100,000 people in nine villages through 100 Anganwadi centers and 10 health sub-centers around three Primary Health Centers (PHC) of Jikthan, Shendurwada, and Daulatabad in Aurangabad.

1. Spreading E-waste awareness
Electronic waste has become a serious problem, owing to its increasing amount and toxicity. As a result, improper electronic waste disposal endangers human health and the environment. Putting in place a global “reduce, reuse, and recycle” program will help in encouraging the organization’s transition to a circular economy.
2. Humana(Saving and improving the lives of women and children)
This project has successfully organized static clinics and health camps to reach out to approximately 15,000 direct beneficiaries in the state of Mahbubnagar district of Telangana.
3. Sight for Kids
Improving eye health education and access to professional eye care in vulnerable communities. Over the past 15 years, the SFK program has been run in 10 countries across Asia, and more than 24 million children have been screened, with around 900,000 referred for further assessment or treatment. Nearly 150,000 volunteers have been trained to help with the eye tests. In 2017, the SFK program seeks to reach millions more students in India, Nepal, China, Thailand, and Vietnam.
4. Child in Need Institute
Since 2005 Johnson & Johnson has been helping the Child in Need Institute (CINI) to improve the health of mothers and children in several slum areas of Kolkata, contributing to global health equity. Johnson & Johnson has systematically strengthened the front lines of care, enabling CINI to care for approximately 800 vulnerable women and 2,000 children at any one time. To date, Johnson & Johnson has helped to improve the health of nearly 100,000 women and children through this program.
5. Param Prasad Charitable Society
50 ANM( Auxiliary Nurses and Midwives)trained girls pass out every year and 5,000 rural people receive better care. To date, 100 girls have been trained under this program.
6. Integrated Adolescent Girl Empowerment Program – Magic Bus
Helping girls in India realize their potential through education and the acquisition of life and vocational skills. As of now, they are working with 400,000 children from underprivileged backgrounds across India, including 3100 who are directly supported by Johnson & Johnson.
7. Indian Red Cross Bel-Air Hospital
The Auxiliary Nurses and Midwives (ANM) Training Program was initiated in 2010 in partnership with the Indian Red Cross Society to address the shortage of nurses in the villages and help underprivileged girls pursue higher education and gain employment. Johnson & Johnson covers the costs including the course fee, room and board, study materials, uniform, and stationery.
Conclusion:
Johnson & Johnson is dedicated to promoting global health equity through various initiatives and collaboration worldwide, which are positively impacting the most vulnerable populations. This marks their commitment to combating health disparities globally by facilitating equal distribution of health services and resources.
Further strengthening their dedication to global health equity, Johnson & Johnson looks forward to a time when all people, regardless of their geographical location or social status shall enjoy well-being.

Erneut in Erinnerung an Adrian C. Louis ein Gedicht aus seinem letzten Band, d.h. auch dem letzten seines Lebens (er sagte damals, der sei sein bester), nämlich “Electric Snakes” (The Backwater Press, 2018). Got Those Lonesome Blues in Small-town Minnesota I’m awakened by American greed speeding through prairie night. There is nothing romantic about the ghostly howl of Burlington & Northern Railroad tankers hauling highly inflammable crude that could incinerate this town. At midnight in a shotgun shack, I fear the railroad & petroleum robber barons more than ISIS & I fear senior citizen loneliness more than instant immolation. Darling, I was dreaming of you when trains pulled me awake & our wet lips parted ways. The last time I kissed you was ten years ago. I shivered while you slept in your coffin.

EDITOR:  Wonderful news to report:  Pat’s Cash and Carry will reopen on Tuesday, March 21. They plan to open Tuesday-Saturday from 11am-4pm.  I was so excited to get this wonderful news.  Karen’s daughters will resume the duties to continue to serve our community. “Pat’s” has been a community gathering place throughout my whole life.  As a little girl in the 1960s, I remember going down there for crickets to go fishing, an ice cream cone, or a can of kerosene for a heater.  “Pat’s” was a vital part of existence then, and still is now.  “Pat’s” is like going home for a visit.  It was back then, and it surely is now.  Go visit the girls as they carry the torch of their mother, into another generation, for your family, and for theirs.  We miss Karen dearly. But, I know her sweet spirit will be felt and that she is smiling down from her new home in heaven, proud of her girls.  LRMartin

Ashton Recalls by Ashton Hester
Here is the second installment of the DAR School memoir:                                  DAR SCHOOL STUDENT FROM 1942-1946 RECALLS EXPERIENCES - (Second Installment). . .Soon after we arrived we were sent to the infirmary to get shots and be tested to see if we had TB. This was done by Dr. Boggs of Greenville and the school nurse who we called Mother Frazier. They were also supposed to draw a vial of blood for other tests, but when they tried to draw my blood they couldn't get any. They tried several times but finally gave up. When Mother Frazier would see me going across the campus she would say, "There goes the girl who hasn't got a drop of blood". . .The first time we went to the dining room to eat, I was about to sit at the first table I came to, but an older girl told me, "You can't sit here, it's reserved." I didn't know what "reserved" meant, and I began to cry. Then this real nice girl told me, "Come here, honey, you can sit at my table." I was so thankful for her. . .That night I became real homesick, and I wrote Mama a letter saying I wanted to return home and asking her to come get me. She wrote back saying I had to stay, because if I left, Mrs. Kirksey would be so disappointed. So I toughed it out and soon got over being homesick. . .All the students called Mr. and Mrs. Cain "Daddy Ralph" and "Mama Lillian." They became our adopted parents. . .Maggie and I were given jobs to do, since the school was allowing us to work instead of having to pay tuition. . .My first job was making uniforms for the students. The uniforms we wore through the week were of medium blue Indian head material, but the Sunday ones were of Navy blue gabardine. We wore them with a white collar. . .I thoroughly enjoyed making uniforms because I had always wanted to sew, but Mama was afraid I would break her sewing machine needle. They were hard to replace during the war. . CONTINUED NEXT WEEK.

"A New Meme," or ANM, is a new Nuclear World State in which the imperialist nations, backed by the neo-settler world police United Nations, will create a multitude of Nuclear Facilities in Idaho, which will consume the entire state and misplace every single citizen within the nation of Idaho. Climate activists decry this move as a "Human's rights abuse," and protest heavily. The US Military, on 18/04/2023, shelled half of the protesters' dwellings and makeshift towns. Millions of people are killed and the UN and US try to assure the rest of the world that this was a mandatory measure in order to remain carbon neutral. One month later, ANM is completed, though due to intentionally lax building codes and oversight, the third day of operation spells doom as multiple facilities explode in a chain reaction, killing all of the workers who live within the premises. The air in Idaho and the nations that surround it are poisoned, and millions more die. Some survivors of the explosions die days later due to some sort of chemical mishap. ANM is deemed a failure and plans by the UK and US are drafted to create another monstrosity somewhere in the Imperial Periphery.
The nations of the world convened yesterday in Idaho, in a press conference, declaring the creation of "A New Meme." There's a lot of excitement and a lot of speculation on the ground. What do you make of it?
I don't know what it is, but I want to be cool and in on the ground floor of this one. Could you tell me more?

𝐇𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐨𝐰𝐧 | 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟏
  Stefan Salvatore x Female!Reader
A/N; I would love some feedback it motives me! You can ask something about episode too if somethings didn’t made sense to you!
Summary; (Y/N) devoted her life to extraordinary events. She strangely liked going into trouble. She wanted to try everything in his life. And she didn't want to die without seeing everything. When her path comes to Mystic falls. Her life changed.
Warnings:Corpse, No Vampirism ect. But still supernatural. Time-travel? Mystic Falls is cursed? Some grammer mistakes.
It was absolutely crazy to go to another town because of her letter to her house. But she couldn't do that any other time. At first she thought someone was making fun of her. Then she decided to investigate the town. There was no photo of the town. Only Articles about missing people. (Y/N) didn’t want to go but she was curious. This was her life and her job. What happened the next day? She had collected her belongings. She started walking to look for a taxi. She knew the taxis wouldn't take her there. So she would take a part of the road by taxi, and for the rest she would walk the way. Perfect plan!
When she arrived in front of town it didn't take long for her to realize what an old town it was. It had a old smell. ıt was like a book that wait for ten years to open. Mystic Falls was written on a broken tree sign that seemed to fall at any moment. It looked like it was straight out of an old movie. It was cold, there was a slight fog, and it was terrifyingly quiet. She moved forward with gentle and silent steps. It was not dark, Actually It was strangely bright. She saw a lighted shop. It was weird but she had nothing to lose. She didn't think there would be a maniac. At least she wanted to believe it. She enterd the shop.
"Is anyone there?" she yelled softly.
There was no sound. This was a shop. Or it used to be a shop. The vending machine, whose light was flashing and making a sound, the cobwebs in some places and the smell of mold did not give her a sense of confidence. She came out of the shop when she understand that ıt was abandoned. She started walking more around the town. She felt more and more used to the place. As she walked, she realized how big the town actually was. She sat down on a bench to get some rest. She closed her eyes and soon felt warmth in her feet. This heat suddenly seemed strange to her, and when she saw that it was a cat, she tried to pet her. The cat was strangely humane. It looked very noble, with jet black charcoal and sharp green eyes. (Y/N) suprised when she saw that cat had a colar. The colar was old. It didn’t had a name on it.
"Where's your owner? Will you take me there?" She asked as she petted the cat. As if understanding her, the cat rubbed its head against her hand and began to move forward. (Y/N) followed it. They were in front of an old manor house.  The windows were broken. Some of the brown bricks were on floor. Flowers were faded. It was so overwhelming. The cat stopped and looked at (Y/N). She enterd the house. She knew she couldn’t get an answer ıf she asked for someone. The smell was so bad. She enterd a living room type of room. Walpappers were ripped. There were some red- was that blood? The vases were broken. There was a fireplace and a portrait of a man above the fireplace. He looked so young. He was handomse. His eyes were shining. His clothes were neat. He looked lika a noble man. She wiped off the dust with her hand so that she could read the name on the frame.
 Stefan Salvatore
1890-1919
She felt a sadness. She hear the cat’s meows. They sounded painfull. When she go to the place that cat meowed. Her eyes opend. The smell was terrible. ıt was nauseous. She saw the man that she saw on portrait. There was a axe on his chest. His forest green eyes were now empty. His skin was white as paper. His tumbs were purple. His chest was collapsed. His stomach was swollen. (Y/N) closed her mouth and ran away. She had to get out of this town and call the cops. This town was cursed. She ran as fast as she can. The air was getting clearer and darker as She got away from the manor. When she came to the exit, she noticed that the door was closed. She tried to climb but could not even hold the anchors, the bars were cold. She saw a letter on the ground. She didn’t saw it when she came.
 Dear (Y/N),
No one can escape from Mystic Falls. Come on smile! You look terrible!
-Mr. Mystic
(Y/N) looked around. Who was ‘Mr. Mystic’? He must be in here. She felt the warm tears. She was ready for anything now, but she was definitely not ready to pass out with a blow to her head.
She woke up in a comfortable place. It was like her bed. So It was a dream huh. She opened her eyes and saw the man that she saw on portrait. What the hell was going on. Tha man opend his mouth.
‘‘Hello Mrs. You were unconscious on my door. My anme is Stefan. I was worried so I carried you here with my brother Damon. Here have some painkillers.’‘
Damon? She didn’t saw his portrait or his body. She get the painkillers
‘‘My name is (Y/N). I really don’t remeber how I came to your door.’‘ She had an idea but he would find it funny an unbelievable. (Y/N) didn’t want to believe it but she had no options. An idea came to her mind.
‘‘What year are we in?" Stefan lookd at her.
‘‘1919. But why did you asked?’‘
Now (Y/N) felt like she was gonna faint again. How did she came into 1919? And how a dead man was alive?

ANM-013: Lord Cognitoth, King of Madness
http://mothrainstitution.wikidot.com/anm-013
Subject Classification: I-00-013
Damage Type: Alternative
Danger Level: SAFE 🟢
Anomaly Type: Insanity
Discovery Classification: Uncontained (00)
Department: São Dantas Psychiatric Hospital
Responsible Researcher: Dr. Octavio Lovecraft
Identification: Mr. Cognitoth
Containment: Mr. Cognitoth is currently uncontainable and identifiable. He seems to linger in or around the São Dantas Psychiatric Hospital.
Description: Mr. Cognitoth is an enigmatic entity associated with madness and mental chaos. He is often perceived as an imaginary friend by patients of the São Dantas Asylum. Near the town of Losthinvill, where the MOTHRA Institute is also located. He presents himself as the god of madness and the best friend of mad people and children, offering them advice, comfort, and amusement. However, he is also capable of influencing reality according to his desires, creating bizarre, dangerous, or illogical situations that defy the laws of physics and normality.
Based on drawings by patients who depicted him, he appears to be a spectral figure with a sinister appearance; a skeleton dressed elegantly with a top hat, a long coat, and carrying a "cane" (shotgun) with him. He has black, empty eyes that convey a sense of malice and madness, although he may also have sparkling yellow irises. He often holds small, indistinct objects in his other hand, which can range from pocket watches to dice.
Cognitoth seems to have a particular affinity for individuals suffering from severe mental disorders, especially those deemed incurable or dangerous. He manifests in their thoughts and dreams, exacerbating their conditions while feeding on the chaotic energy produced by their disturbed minds. He can also communicate telepathically with them, using a soft and seductive voice that convinces them to follow his plans or rebel against authorities. He claims that his goal is to free the mad from the shackles of sanity and society, and that he is the only one who understands and loves them.
The entity is also capable of unpredictably and incomprehensibly altering reality, both on a local and global scale. He can create spatial, temporal, physical, or logical abnormalities that affect both the environment and people. For example, he can make the asylum walls turn to rubber, make clocks run backward, reverse the laws of gravity, make people switch bodies or personalities, make inanimate objects come to life, make paradoxes real, etc. He seems to enjoy these alterations and considers them as small pranks or experiments. He can also use these powers to escape containment attempts or to cause harm or death to those he considers enemies or obstacles.
Mr. Cognitoth is intrinsically linked to the São Dantas Asylum, which is the epicenter of his anomalous activity. Containment attempts have proven impossible so far; he seems to exist beyond normal physical and mental barriers. The only way to limit his effects is to keep the asylum isolated and monitored, and prevent him from contacting other people or anomalies. Any incident caused by him must be immediately reported and contained, and any witnesses must be treated or amnesticized.
Observations:
- ANM-013 is considered one of the most dangerous and unpredictable anomalies of the MOTHRA Institution, and its existence is a high-level secret. Any information about it must be restricted and protected.
- 013 seems to have a complex and contradictory personality. He can be charming, friendly, intelligent, creative, humorous, curious, kind, or generous, but he can also be cruel, sadistic, manipulative, arrogant, selfish, vengeful, or destructive. He seems to have his own sense of morality and ethics, which do not follow social or human norms. He also seems to have an interest in various areas of knowledge, such as art, literature, philosophy, science, history, religion, etc.
- Mr. Cognitoth has a identifying phrase he uses to introduce or bid farewell: "Save the mad, Cognitoth." He also has a symbol he uses to mark his presence or influence: a circle with a dot in the center, surrounded by four curved lines resembling horns or tentacles.

Suede: 'Everyone wants us to be tragic, cold and romantic'
The fans say they're too happy, but Suede have moved on. That's no bad thing, says Simon Price
The Independent on Sunday, 29 September 2002
This is a little known ANM era interview with Brett and Mat that appeared in The Independent on Brett’s 35th birthday. Since the interviewer was Simon Price, expect quality content here.
'I'm in a straitjacket that I've made for myself," he says. "I get bored of having to be this alternative poet, this sort of dark, Byronesque figure sitting in the shadows being slightly troubled..." A decade ago, that dark, Byronesque figure captivated a generation – or at least, a subset of one – with the gleeful perverseness of Suede's eponymous 1993 debut and the gothic melodrama of its 1994 successor, Dog Man Star. The pallid, black-clad lad with the cheekbones and the lustrous fringe became a figurehead for an entire youth tribe.
Ten years on, Brett Anderson gazes out of his Notting Hill window and ponders the expectations which still beset him. It's been building for a while. By 1996, the time of Suede's third album, the pop-friendly, anthem-packed Coming Up, the dark Byronesque figure was dead, replaced by a new, smiling, dancing, invigorated Brett. At that time, dissent was crushed under a wave of Britpop optimism, but their fourth, 1999's Head Music, was roundly panned by fans, mainly for being too damn happy.
Even Anderson's physical appearance is subject to critical scrutiny: there was recently an outcry among the faithful when he was seen sporting a suntan and a blond hairdo (it's now a more Pre-Raphaelite russet). A permanent tension seems to exist between the Brett Anderson that thousands of Suedeheads want him to be, and the Brett Anderson that he wants to be.
"I'm not really sure what person I want to be," he says. "It's probably the whole thing of me not being a sickly boy any more. It's been over-emphasised, because it's only a matter of tiny degree, and I don't have any intention of becoming some brainless prat who spends all his time skiing either. I do feel restricted sometimes. I feel as though a lot of the hardcore fans... are obsessed with Suede returning to Dog Man Star, to be tragic, cold, dark, poetic and romantic. And yes, Suede will always be all those things, but the last thing I want is to return to those times, personally or professionally... Around Dog Man Star, we were dark, fucked-up loonies. We were fucking insane."
Tomorrow, Suede's fifth album, New Morning, will be released. It won't do much to please the misery fetishists: the original working title was Instant Sunshine. This, explains bassist Mat Osman, Suede's other founder member and the band's designated Funny One, had a lot to do with the circumstances in which it was made. Recording began in a countryside retreat during the summer of 2000. "It was very blissful, mellow, laid back, and that comes through in the music. I think Suede have always been associated with being cold, paranoid and urban, but this has a more pastoral feel. We played a lot of football, did a lot of cycling. It was quite bizarre."
Suede? Cycling? Football? Shattered myths all over the place! This rural idyll was abandoned, however, when it became clear that the songs they'd written, which were "very songwriterly, very structured", were incompatible with Beck producer Tony Hoffer, who they had hired to expand on the dance elements they had dabbled with on Head Music. According to some reports, the entire album was scrapped, at a cost of £1m, and started from scratch.
"It's pretty much true," confirms Osman. "Except the amount of money. It didn't cost a million pounds, that's a complete lie."
"I don't think we're at our best," Anderson continues, "when we're thinking too much. Our best records are quite instinctive. I'd like to make a record that is solidly more experimental. I have no intention of Suede turning into some worthy, dull band. But this time we were trying to weld a sound to the songs, and it didn't work." With disarming humour and humility, the band will be making the aborted songs available to download by anyone who buys the album. "There's always a danger when fans hear about alternate versions, they'll think, 'Oh, Suede with the guy who did Beck, it must be amazing.' Hopefully they won't then go, 'This is a load of crap, isn't it?' because obviously it's a load of crap. That's why we didn't release it."
Suede returned to the city, moved into a studio in Hammersmith, and started again with a more traditional rock producer, Stephen Street (perhaps best known for his work with Suede's erstwhile arch-rivals Blur). "We did the album in eight weeks," says Osman, "which by Suede standards, is a blink of an eye."
When Suede bring out a new album, Brett invariably confesses that its predecessor was made in a drug haze, but this time around they're totally clean, honest guv. "Yeah," he smiles, "I know. It sounds like bullshit but it's actually true this time... There were a lot of drugs around during the making of Head Music. And indeed all of the albums. But not this one, and that is the truth." If anything, New Morning sounds as though it was made under the influence of love. The single, "Positivity", and the standout track, "Obsessions", are both hymns to an unnamed female, the latter song listing random attributes in a "Lady Is A Tramp" style: "It's the way you don't read Camus, or Bret Easton Ellis/ Yeah, the TCP you use, it stings when we kiss..."
"There's always a real person at the heart of my songs," says Anderson, "but you do start making things up about them. It always turns into a fantasy thing. Most of my songs are inspired by women. That's the way I am." Does the specific person usually recognise that it's them? "It's one of those vicious things where loads of people assume it's about them," Osman interjects. "Including people I've never met," Brett shudders.
Elsewhere, on tracks like "Beautiful Loser", "Street Life" and "Lonely Girls", Brett returns to a favourite theme: depicting the lives of an imagined community of bohemian outsiders, the same characters which populated "Trash" and even "The Drowners".
"I don't try and consciously create a blueprint for people's lives. But I was a lot more conscious back then of speaking to an alternative community of people which I was sure populated the world. I always think of the Suede community as being this international society of suburbanites and loners..." "This kind of mongrel nation," continues Osman, "which only exists at the gigs and on the net, who live in these forgotten half-arsed pathetic towns." If that mongrel nation will always haunt Brett with the Ghost of Anderson Past, a living reminder of the old days has recently popped up again. Bernard Butler, the former guitarist who departed acrimoniously in 1994, has been making surprising overtures to the effect that he'd like to work with Anderson again in the future. What do Suede make of that? "It's been... very, very strange and very unlikely," says Osman. "He seems to have done the same thing with David (McAlmont) too, where they fell out and made up, so he's obviously had a change of heart about something. The one thing I didn't like was when he seemed to write off everything we'd done, which was a shame, because we did make some great records. I think it's cool that he actually seems... kind of proud of it now, whereas I don't think he did before. But what he's actually doing... I'm not quite sure." Meanwhile, Anderson taps his teeth with his knuckle, and says absolutely nothing.
'New Morning' is released tomorrow on Epic records

Brazil to extend probe into Vale dam disaster into early 2020
Tumblr media
Brazil’s mining secretary said on Friday he expects the sector’s main regulator to extend its investigation until January 2020 into the causes of the Vale SA mining dam collapse that killed at least 240 people.
Secretary Alexandre Vidigal de Oliveira of the Mines and Energy Ministry had ordered the National Mining Agency (ANM) to investigate the disaster in February, a process that ordinarily would have expired in August.
But that deadline is now likely to be extended for another 180 days, he said in an interview, citing the probe’s complexity and the difficulty in accessing the disaster area, which has also been the site of a major operation to retrieve the dead.
The dam containing mining waste known as tailings ruptured on Jan. 25 at a Vale iron ore mining facility in Brumadinho, a town in Minas Gerais state, unleashing a torrent of sludge that buried people and buildings in its wake.
