Dan: So have you listened to all of these?

Ares: Only the opened CD’s and records. 

Dan: Imagine if you just opened up the new ones.

Ares: Like a little fiend.

[ small nervous laughter fills the space ]

Ares: Dan, why’d you bring me here?

Dan: Do you have to ask?

Ares: Yes. I want to hear it from you.

Ares: I want you to tell me.

Dan: Terrifying.

Ares: I’ve always thought you were fearless.

Dan:  Unafraid of anything but… [ voice falters ]

Ares: Romance. Why’s that?

Dan: I know nothing about it. The good parts, I mean. I’m starting to believe… Well I don’t know what to believe. You ever think it’s all a bit convoluted? 

Ares: So I’ll ask again. Why’d you bring me here?

Dan: Because- God, it’s so stupid saying it outloud.

Ares: Daniela.

Dan: I can’t seem to… [ pauses ] I feel like my head’s been rewired a bit and I’m trying to make sense of it. Am I supposed to think about you this much?

Ares: Depends. Is that what you want?

Dan: I want… You.

Ares: Then have me.

Dan: Can I-

Ares: Yes.

Dan: Eager!

Ares: [ laughs ]

My Tesselated Darter is getting big! I took a moment to check and he's around the 3.5 or 3.75 inch mark. Pretty hefty for this species!

hmm i wonder what state the world would be in if these guys did find a middle ground and worked together

no beach divorce thats for sure

in my personal opinion i’d think everything would be a lot better than it already is

obviously not amazing but better

they would be called “the fathers of mutants” because the moment your mutation manifests you become a child of divorce. theres no way out of it

sighh now all i can think about is “Tessellation” by nekosmuse 💔 thats a good example of them working together 😔

cherik still gets divorced every few years (they do it for the thrill)

In the daylight: a dog.
