You know what would have been more interesting for Jak X, in my opinion?

If Damas lived, and now he and Jak don't know how to act around each other.

Jak seems like he's so afraid of rejection through 2 and 3, like he's self sabotaging because if he's the first to leave maybe it won't hurt so much. He has some abandonment issues -- ironically, some of it is probably because of being shuttled off to the past by Samos who was just like "what parents? I found you in a dumpster."

And then there's Damas, who was coming to accept that Mar was probably dead, and coming to accept that he'd come to see Jak as a second son. And then he finds out that Mar and Jak are one and the same, that the bond between them was severed by "holy men" like Veger and Samos so that they could experiment on his son or raise him to be a weapon and spare key to get into ruins and relics. He'd have a lot of processing to do and he probably wouldn't be ready to talk about it with Jak yet.

So then like, the will reading in Kras comes at the perfect time for Jak. He can't stand the eggshells he and Damas are walking on around each other, so he runs. Just to clear his head. Just for a little while. He'll go to the reading and come straight back.

And then they could've really built on the juxtaposition of each main character's relationship with their fathers. Rayn remembering all the idealized parts of Krew and minimizing the bad. Keira finally starting to see how overbearing Samos is and balancing her affection for him with standing up for herself and her friends. Ashelin figuring out what she wants her legacy to be compared to her father's. Mizo/Blitz resenting his father enough to kill him in cold blood. And Jak not knowing what to do with the father he has, or how to be a son -- if he should even try -- when he isnt the son Damas was looking for. Heck, let's give Razer some dad issues too. Let's give him an annoyingly over-the-top supportive dad who is a little too ambitious and pushing to become the next big crime boss in Kras City.

And then have levels that were more than just "Mario Kart with Guns", like some heist levels where you play as Daxter and Ottsel Tess. (Tess would Absolutely use her ottsel powers for Shenanigans, you can't convince me otherwise). Have the Marauders have more than just cameos as "Spargus's weird Mad Max neighbors", make them actual contestants in the race representing the ice region and their Wasteland colony! Have Jak and Damas bumbling their way back into being father and son again through good old-fashioned life-threatening peril! Have Tess be a major part of the game!

But alas, this remains just the secret, good version of the games in my head 😅

Disventure Camp All Stars Episode 19 opinions-

Spoiler Warning!! This post is short cause this episode was meh

SO ITS JUST CANON THAT JAMES AND AIDEN FUCK IN THE MOTEL? OKAY. 😀

I’m not a Jaiden shipper so this episode to me was to see if they could finally give James a personality. No, they didn’t. Again, James is made for fanservice. What are his personality traits again? Dates Aiden, Loves Aiden, Would Do Anything For Aiden, Social Media Star, Is Kind. WHAT THE FUCK IS HIS PERSONALITY?!

Despite it being canon- Jaiden isn’t even in my top 5 DCAS ships. On the other hand- I really missed my lad Tom (TwT)

So glad that we got some Tom screentime, and you Jam/TomJake shippers are going crazy because he finally admitted to still being in love with Jake- #NotMyShipButSlayIGuess

TomJake is in my top 3 favorite ships, but nothing is beating Jakeden. There’s chemistry that isn’t forced, it’s not just fanservice, it can’t be destroyed by ONC and make it canon. ONC was too pussy to make TessxAllyxHunter canon, so they wouldn’t even dare think of shipping two twinks together!!! 😱😱

This episode was decent- made me chuckle a bit, there were some good Aiden lines. And the scene of Jake? Hilarious. Which now means, in my fanfic? Jake is going to be EVEN MORE terrified of James being his helper >:)

Also “I’m only doing this for Aiden..” DO YOU DO ANYTHING NOT FOR HIM?! PLEASE GIVE THIS MAN A PERSONALITY!! HE DOESN’T EVEN HAVE CRUMBS!! FEED THE POOR “FLESHED OUT” CHARACTER!!!

Anyways all in all this was a mid episode, 7/10. Aiden and Tom carried this episode and Grett burning Yul’s face made it 10x better. I’m actually gonna start working on chapter two of my fanfic because the show is boutta end and I haven’t even gotten to chapter two yet 😅

i cant see her being super into christmas or holidays in general ,,, it would bring out the cynical side of her especially bc she had a family pre outbreak etc etc ,,, but if you were into christmas she would try her best to make it special for you,, letting the good memories with you replace the painful ones from before (look at me getting all sappy aww)
