Disaster Twins Karaoke Battle (alt title: Getting Hyped for the Next Lair Games)

These sketches are old, but I couldn't let National TMNT Day pass without showing my appreciation in some way. I drew these some months ago, while listening to the song Stalemate from the Death Note musical yes, that's a thing, go check it out on loop, and forgot to post them. The song is a bop and I could so easily see the twins loving it, and loving to perform it even more. Massive theatre nerds, the both of them, no one can convince me otherwise.

(In my mind, Leo is singing Jeremy's part and Donnie is singing Jarrod's, but it's interchangeable.)

I’m so giddy thinking about how Kieran must feel right now, seeing the whole HOTD fandom hyping and writing stories about a character that he breathed life into. His agent needs to leverage this momentum and get him roles asap!

i’m not even joking, i HOPE his team understands the actual power fangirls have over making a persons career. with his incredible performance in this one minor role he was able to put thousands of people into a literal headlock—and the sooner they push that, the more likely it is those people are gonna stick around for whatever he’s got coming next, yknow? because things like this are unfortunately always so wishy-washy—for some of us, we’ll be long term fans. others might be over it in a few weeks/months, because that’s just how the entertainment industry goes

but overall, the opportunities he can gain from this could be so absolutely incredible!! additionally, not sure what his interests are, but i for one would love to see him in more fantasy-esque roles! the energy he brought for house of the dragon was incredible and i think he’d do especially well in something with that kind of drama (and, honestly, i just think he would do insanely well in a good fight scene)

so so happy for him and can’t wait to see where his career goes!!

there are two wolves inside of me, the one that wishes for sydcarmy to develop in the most unconventional way. i'm talking kisses they completely ignore, staying the night, sharing clothes, calling each other in the middle of the night. together in all the ways but just not verbally defined. hardcore yearning and being complete idiots. the others having to spell it out for them that they're literally in love with each other. And it still taking months, years for it to marinate and stick in their brains

the other, where sydney has lost her trust in carmy and it will take a lot of proactiveness and grovelling for it to be repaired. angry, tunnel visioned for that star. puts her career and ambitions first. her insecurities in the limelight. deep in denial of her feelings. she's kicking and screaming.at her most avoidant, trying to run away from whatever this thing is with carmy. she herself is sydcarmys number one enemy. going completely bonkers. carmy, way more aware of his feelings but never wanting to cross the line with sydney, he'll take whatever she gives him. fearful that he'll lose her again.
