Seeing some worries on my timeline re. the game automatically updating to DX11 and reshade not working.

There's a super easy fix! Simply go to the install and change the file named d3d9.dll to dxgi.dll and it'll work again. You don't need to reinstall it ✨

My first backsplash CC was pretty well received so I decided to make another. This time I wanted to make something a little toned down, but still colorful. I also wanted to make some smaller tiles so there are 2 variations!

11 years ago Rain lashed against the windows as 11-year-old Dara's heart hammered against her ribs. Stuck at a sleepover that made her wish she was in the quiet comfort of her own bedroom, one phone call promised to change all that. "No problem, honey, we'll be there soon," her mom's warm voice came on the other line. "Let me start the car," she heard her father add as an engine roared. When the call ended, a knot twisted deep in her stomach. She ignored it, counting down the minutes and hours until red and blue lights flashed outside. The following years blurred into a collage of grief and therapy sessions. The storm that night in June -- the last day of sixth grade -- was a metaphor for the one that raged inside her.
