I have an In Stars And Time AU that mainly focuses on Sadnesses and expands on them as a concept. There are other details (subplots and such), but the main point of it is Sadness-based. I’m still trying to come up with a name for it, though.

Usually I don’t share my AUs much because they tend to be a bit wild and self-indulgent, but this one’s organized enough that I think it’d be reasonable to share. Only thing is, I’m not sure how to do that? I’m thinking I could start with a text post (maybe with some doodles included) explaining the AU’s expansion on Sadnesses, but I know a lot of people don’t wanna read long blocks of text— My other idea was to make a comic showing how one of the scenes in canon ISAT plays out in the AU, although I have a bit of trouble finding motivation for comics. And then there’s the idea to make a sort of cast overview/introduction post explaining the deal with all the major characters, but most of them aren’t all that different from canon, I think-? It’s a kind of complicated situation-

Anyway, since I’m indecisive, I’m making it into a poll so you guys can choose for me lol

Howdy! Welcome to my blog!

I’m CB, short for C. Brookes. I am 18 and in college pursuing a degree in English, with the hope of one day being an author! I use vae/vaer/vaer/vaers/vaerself (singular) and she/her. I also have ADD (attention deficit disorder), as well as anxiety and depression!

This is mainly a personal blog, but I also post about my writing! Mostly, I like to read and write fantasy. My main project is called Project Opal! To summarize: “Man flees assassination attempts. Friends pursue. Other friend flees unrelated assassination attempt. Hijinks ensue.”

My dearest, most beautiful Milabelle (@trash-bin-ary) is my QPP, and the light of my life :3

For fandoms, I post about A Hat in Time, In Stars and Time, Hollow Knight, EPIC: The Musical, and possibly others. Fandoms I don’t post about but still enjoy include Pokémon, Baba Is You, Undertale, Deltarune, both Portal games, Stardew Valley, and anything I remember later and add on. Not fandoms, but sometimes I’ll also post about Ado and plushies.

I also post about my writing, my college experience, and thoughts about being median/a system not anymore, those go on my system blog. And of course random jokes here and there.

I don’t have much regarding a DNI list. This is an SFW blog, so keep that in mind when interacting. And if you swear in my replies or asks, I’ll just delete it. Like I said earlier, it’s my blog, I can do what I want. And what I want is a safe space. I’ll also delete any asks that do stuff like ask for money or promote any particular cause, because that’s just not something I want to interact with—and I will delete them indiscriminately, regardless of what they promote or don’t promote.

I also post about figuring out… myself, I guess. Sometimes I vent. Sometimes I talk about depression or anxiety.

Oh I’ll tell you what I’ve done.

Hi yeah I was bored so I’ve (as of posting this) just starting a silly ISAT thingy where we’re basically taking and mixing together a bunch of random stuff from majority votes to make an amalgamation of AUs and other various Horrors. My goal is to take all of this and *try* to make a cohesive storyline with it?

You’ll be able to find all the polls and stuff with the tag #ISAT POLL AU, my asks are open for questions and suggestions (for when building the au actually starts)

What does all this mean? First of all, I’m making an In Stars and Time AU by mushing the results from polls together into one beautiful amalgamation! View tag “ISAT POLL AU”

Now that we have basics, such as character roles, I can start building the story. More polls may come once I get more specific questions.

THE WONDERFUL IDEAS SO FAR:

Siffrin mother of 5: So far, I think Siffrin should be a mother of many creatures. (Leaning towards cats). Collected them before meeting the party.

Odile Guncraft and Mira Sharpshooter: these ones go hand in hand. SECRET 5th CRAFT SIGN!!! Mira learned it in one of her many classes, and Odile now has “Gun a V”

Bonnie with at least 8 hats: pretty self-explanatory. Bonnie has many-a-hats. All stacked on top of each other

Isabookshelf: oh no. So, funny thing, this was the ONLY OPTION out of EVERY OPTION is EVERY POLL that I DID NOT have an idea for before posting. Uh. Isa has a million books somehow and pulls them out of nowhere? Isa has a pocket dimension that is a library? Isa can shapeshift into a bookshelf? I’d love to hear suggestions

Siffrin ghost: At some point during the full party’s loops, Siffrin has just had enough of it. Makes another wish. To know, to understand, to help their family somehow, to be free

And ofc full party timelooping: another self-explained one. The whole gang (isabeau, siffrin, bonnie, mirabelle, odile) are all timelooping. Maybe Siffrin just worded their original wish a little differently
