Ask for sakamaki bros (just Shu if you can't do all)
I've been going through so much recently. One of my closest friends left me for her boyfriend after everything I have done for her.
Some other girl who dates my ex crush was a fake friend the entire time and she was just trying to make me jealous about the fact that she's with him when i don't even like him anymore.
I seriously don't know what I can do anymore bc so many people have switched up on me and now it feels as if everyone is against me. I don't feel like going to school and it's giving me depression. Is there any advice I could get?
Advice for Anon #1
Shū:
“Hm… that seems tiresome. I’d suggest not wasting your energy on those who don’t give a damn about you. People will come and go, so it’s better to have respect for yourself and your boundaries… and never let those sorts of people back into your life again. Don’t allow their actions to dictate your happiness. Maybe find a hobby…? I enjoy music… just this once I’ll let you listen with me, how’s that?”
Reiji:
“My, I hope you are prioritizing your health, especially that of mental. If there is anyone you are able to talk to, I’d start from there. Finding a support system of any kind will prove to be beneficial, even with the stress piling up. Perhaps you should attempt self-soothing methods, anything that can provide a distraction, whilst serving as a remedy to your aches.”
Ayato:
“Tch. What idiots! You shouldn’t be caring about those guys anyways! They sound like real assholes, and are probably bored…! So don’t go wasting your time with people like that. Maybe play some sports? They always let me blow off some extra steam. Just focus on yourself, and then you’ll come out on top! Hehe, that’s what Ore-sama always does, and look, aren’t I the best?”
Kanato:
“Eh? How dare they treat you this way!? They don’t deserve anymore of your attention, or your kindness! You should only reserve it for those special to you. Hmph, you’ll find others who will be worth it. But Teddy and I both agree that you should separate yourself and cut all ties immediately! Just this once I’ll share some of my sweets with you, okay? So smile for me, Dolly.”
Laito:
“Jeez… with friends like that who needs enemies? Fufu, kidding, kidding. If I were you, I wouldn’t bother with them again. People shall play their games to suit their own idea of entertainment. It’s better to leave them yearning for a reaction than giving in, right? Focus on what you love, perhaps even take a spa day! I hear those are quite enjoyable.”
Subaru:
“I ain’t the best with this sort of stuff… But I’ve been through my own fair share of fake friends, kinda the reason why I keep to myself… So take it from me, you shouldn’t let ‘em win by separating yourself away from school… even if it is boring…! Keep finding motivation or somethin to keep you here. Maybe try some meditation? I’ve heard from Yui that it makes a difference… ‘specially if you’re super stressed out. But just remember you’re tougher than this!”
Admin/Iris: Hi hun!! I hope you seriously are ensuring that you prioritize yourself during this time. As someone who’s been through fake people coming in and out of my life, along with experiencing many thoughts linked towards depression— I’ll say that it will get easier. Time is really a remedy, and it may seem as though it’s hard right now, but you need to let it run its course because there’s always going to be something after it. Hope everything will turn out for the better <33

All yours
(Emma Myers x fem! reader)
Summary: Emma overhears you singing and begs for you to sing her something. Warnings: none Request is here (and the additional stuff as the music if you want to listen to it while reading (especially the last part)) (English isn't my first language, I'm sorry if there are mistakes or if something doesn't make sense TvT)
As far as you could remember, you always loved singing. But never in front of anyone. You were a little scared of what people would say, especially people you didn't know for too long.
Even your best-friend never heard you sing, despite being one of the people you trusted and loved the most. Maybe you loved her a little too much, by the way.
You may or may not had a crush on her for years but had always been too scared to tell her. You didn't want to risk ruining everything between you two.
The moments you shared were what you cherished the most, even though they got rarer since she started acting professionally. You were happy for her of course, but you missed her too.
So, when she told you she had some time to rest, you immediately invited her to your appartement. She too was more than happy to see you again, and moved in for the time she would stay.
Living with her made you realize how hard it would be not to show how in love you were. It also made you realize that this is what you wanted. Live with her. See her every morning, every night. Hear her mumbling a 'good morning' with her raspy morning voice.
You were head over heels in love with her.
Right now, you were having a shower, while Emma was watching tv in the living room. You put on your 'shower playlist', a compilation of your favorite songs at the moment, and started showering.
After a little while, your all-time favorite song started playing, and you couldn't help but thing along while washing your hair.
What you didn't know was that Emma could hear you sing from the living room. At first she didn't realize it was you, she thought it was just you listening to music, but then she recognized your voice.
She sat up and got closer to the bathroom's door, but the water still running prevented her from hearing properly.
So, when you got out of the room, wet hair falling on your shoulders, she didn't hesitate to ask you if you could sing for her.
"I heard you when you were in the shower... but because of the water I couldn't hear properly... Please Y/n!"
"Emma, you know you're my best friend, right? But I'm not singing for you, or anyone. Sorry"
"Come on!"
"No"
"Pleaseee"
"Nope"
You went to your bedroom to grab a sweater that you put on your oversize shirt.
"I'll do every chore for you"
"Tempting, but still no"
"Please please pleaseee"
She looked at you with puppy eyes, her secret weapon to get you to do anything. She really had you wrapped around her finger.
"Okay, fine! You know I can't resist when you do this" you sighed, defeated "Any particular request?"
"As long as I can hear you sing again, I'm happy"
"I'll take that as a 'no' then"
You took a moment to think about what song you could pick. There was way to many songs you'd love to sing, but you had to choose wisely. If you could give her a hint on your feelings for her in the process, that would be an absolute win.
After a minute, you looked up for the instrumental version of the song on YouTube. Singing acapella wasn't your favorite thing.
"Okay" you took a deep breath "Let's do this"
You pressed play and waited for the right moment to start.
"Maybe, it's the way you say my name Maybe, it's the way you play your game But it's so good, I've never known anybody like you But it's so good, I've never dreamed of nobody like you"
The 'funny' thing with this song was that it fit perfectly your feelings towards her. She had nothing to do with the other people you met, she had something special that got you drawn to her so quickly.
Dandelions was one of her favorite songs. Now hearing you sing it was a whole other thing. Your voice truly was amazing.
"Wishing on dandelions all of the time Praying to God that one day you'll be mine Wishing on dandelions all of the time, all of the time"
This part was by far your favorite. You had wished your feelings were shared so much, you couldn't count how many times.
Oh, how she wished you meant what you were singing. The simple thought of you praying that she'd be yours made butterflies grow in her stomach.
"Dandelion, into the wind you go Won't you let my darling know? Dandelion, into the wind you go Won't you let my darling know that?"
She was impressed how you held the high note of this part, by at this point not surprised anymore. She could hear you sing for hours and never get bored.
A little part of herself thought you might be singing to her. Maybe it was just her being delusional. After all, she was far from being the most interesting person you knew, so why would you have any kind of romantic feelings for her?
"I'm in a field of dandelions Wishing on every one that you'll be mine, mine..."
The music started to fade out as the song was finished, but you continued singing anyways, improvising a last part that couldn't be anything else than you confessing to her.
For the first time since you started singing, you looked directly into her blue eyes.
"'Cause I'm sick and tired of dandelions Wishing on every one is a waste of time, time
I got all our moments memorized I'm gonna say it now, you make me smile, smile
Giving up dandelions wasting my time Thankful to God I have you in my life Giving up dandelions wasting my time, wasting my time..."
Her eyes widened slightly as she realized this wasn't part of the original song. You improvised that part. For her.
How many times did you say all those things to her? Enough for her to understand what you were doing. She never paid too much attention to it before, thinking it was just you being hyper affectionate, but in a 'friends' way.
All your moments together flashed before her eyes. All the times you told her you were thankful to have her by your side. All the times you remembered little things she told you, little habits she had, little things that happened when you spent time together that even she didn't think about at first.
That day at the lake when you couldn't stop smiling looking at her. She thought she looked ridiculous trying to go in the cold water while you were already swimming, and that it was the reason why you smiled, holding in your laughter.
Now that she thought of it, you always had a smile on your face when you were together. A beautiful smile she loved so much and hoped would never fade away.
The way you looked at her right now was different than before, as if you stopped hiding what you truly felt. You had that look you had in her daydreams, in her fantasies.
Except this time, it was real. You were really in front of her, giving her heart eyes.
She imagined that scene thousands of times, and yet she didn't know how to react. But she had to do something, or you would get the wrong signals!
Her body moved faster than her brain.
She found herself kissing you without even realizing it before you kissed her back, a wave of relief washing over both of you.
Your hands were behind her neck, while hers found their place on your waist, never breaking the kiss. You both had waited so long for that moment to happen; you weren't going to let it end so soon.
But you had to pull away, eventually.
"So... whishing on dandelions worked?" you asked playfully
"Yes" Emma whispered before kissing you again "I'm yours. All yours"

Good news, everyone! Excellent news. It turns out Ed Night is good at stand-up comedy. I have been waiting several years now to find this out, suspected but with no way to confirm it. But now I can finally say, I have found a way to artistically justify my decision to watch Roast Battle. Wouldn't have heard of Ed Night otherwise as he's not been on anything else I've seen, and therefore I wouldn't have have seen a very good stand-up show last night. Success! It was all worth it!
Anyway, yesterday was probably my most perfectly planned day if this festival. Look at this:
What a solid few hours. Kept exiting the venues and then going right back in, didn't have to travel anywhere, and four really really strong shows in a row. Eleanor Morton's took a little while to get going and at first I was a bit disappointed in it, but it really built up from a routine about seeing the Edinburgh Fringe as an Edinburgh native, then just kept going, second half better than the first and I loved it by the end.
The other 3 were pretty well perfect, all 3 of them. I'm so glad I saw Sarah Keyworth, after almost skipping them because I saw it filmed for Access Festival. Firstly, it was more than good enough to be worth seeing in person even though I'd heard the material before, same as Nish Kumar and Tom Ballard. Secondly, it's been 8 months and a major Australian championship win since I saw the show, obviously the material has developed. It was so, so much fun to actually see.
As was Laura Davis, they're another one who's so compelling it's just worth getting into the room to experience it up close. This started strong but was another one that really built and by the end was... look, I try to be very sparing with a word like "Kitsonian" and not just compare anything good to him, but that was all I could think of with the way they got complex and poetic in throwing everything in the show back at us at the end. Reminded me of the ending of Impotent Fury of the Privileged pr Something Other Than Everything, in the best way (not in a "Laura was being unoriginal" way, Kitson doesn't talk nearly this much about dead birds so safe to say they carved their own territory). And Tom Ballard was also doing stuff I'd heard before but it sure was worth being in the room for that. Being in the room made me both enjoy it even more, and better understand why a different person might dislike it so strongly. A divisively shouty presence.
I even managed to briefly speak to Tom Ballard after the show, if nothing else just to prove to myself that I could, after the disaster of last week. And it went okay! I wasn't smooth by any means, stuttered at the ground about how I loved his show in Montreal last year and thought this one was even better and big fan of his older specials too and all his stuff, and I absolutely could not look at him while I spoke, but I think I managed to make the words I was saying understood. Managed to sound like a very nervous person who likes him, rather than whatever I sounded like when I met Kitson last week, which was nothing, because I could not remember any words. So I'm glad I managed that improvement. He was very nice, asked me my name, said he appreciated it, a sort of amusing contrast to the on-stage shoutiness.
Then I ran off to the Assembly Rooms to see Josie Long's husband (if the genders were reversed it would be problematic to define her by her relationship to him but I'm pretty sure it's fine this way around, also I'm not 100% sure they're actually married) meticulously document the destruction of arts funding and the NHS across 14 years of Tory rule, via the medium of a musical performed in what appeared to be a circus tent. That's what we some to the Fringe for, isn't it? That is exactly what I wanted out of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. It was a lot of fun.
Then back to the Monkey Barrel to see Ed Night, a guy I'd been Googling ever since I saw him on Roast Battle in 2021, convinced that I like this guy and I just need him to release something so I can see to prove it. I've said several times on this blog that I'm supporting his career like it's a sports team, wanting him to get big just so I can see his stuff from Canada. He didn't so I had to go to him, and finally, decision to watch an awful thing like Roast Battle has been justified! I found Ed Night out of it! Seriously I thought he was fantastic, dark and sharp and packed with jokes that you could miss if you didn't pay attention because they fit so clearly into the narrative. And it helped that it was my sort of thing in terms of subject matter, he covered OCD and queer identity and some political stuff and the frustrating mental health system, talked shit about content creator algorithms. At one point he got a Pokemon reference into what I think was a suicide joke - how perfectly tailored to my comedy taste is that? He also picked some more specific targets, like (spoiler alert, I guess, spoiler alert for everything on my blog all the time) going after Tom Binns for a while, earning every bit of that edgy material (edgy, to be clear, just because it's an intense topic to bring up - he didn't try edgily defending him or anything) by being very funny about it.
He hung out somewhere in the general vicinity (not nearly as far, but the vicinity is still impressive) of Dan Rath levels of presenting himself as a fucked up low status character (though it didn't seem like a that much of a character). I remember seeing someone compare his stuff to Frankie Boyle once, which I think is apt, though more personal than I've heard Frankie Boyle get, and obviously not as developed in the craft, but it was that level of dark. I also think Chortle robbed him, with only 3.5 stars, given some of the stuff that's got 4. I'm just relieved that he was good. I got so invested in the idea of him being good, based on so little. Picked one non-famous comedian, several years ago, to decide I bet that guy is good, based on about 8 minutes of the TV show Roast Battle. And it was by no means a guarantee that I'd like him. I feel like this blog must make it seem as though I like pretty much all comedy because I mainly write about stuff I like. When in fact I hear or see plenty of comedy that I dislike, I just try not to be a dick about it online too often. So I'm glad this wasn't like that, because I really hate being wrong.
Then I ran off to the other side of the castle for the first time, to see Natalie Palamides at the Traverse Theatre. This was one I booked because it seemed important to take the opportunity to see in person while I can. I've seen her previous shows - Laid and Nate - on video, and I liked them, could see they were very good, but I also knew I was missing parts of it, because it doesn't translate fully to film, and I just don't have the theatre kid background to appreciate that level of clowning. Also the puppet in Dave freaked me out. I don't like puppets. Also, you know, nudity. Sex scenes (only with puppets). Artistic violence. It left me feeling weird and uncomfortable and wanting to curl up into a ball, in a sort of good but probably overall more bad way. But that left me feeling like I should try harder to develop the ability to appreciate this sort of thing. And I think it's the sort of thing that really needs to be experienced live.
So I went to see Weer live, and I had a great time. It was so much fun, probably helped that the subject matter was lighter, at least at first. More nudity (spoiler alert, I guess, for all of this, in the unlikely event that anyone planning to see Natalie Palamides is reading this) but I was prepared this time! Managed to not turn into quite such a prudish teacher from a movie, at the sight of a body displayed in the name of art. I mean it was still weird, but not quite such a shock as I'd seen it before. The violence was a bit more difficult, but it very quickly got too absurd to be scary. And the puppet stuff was mercifully extremely short.
Otherwise, I thought it was incredibly impressive. I don't have the theatre knowledge to really understand how impressive it was, but I can still recognize something really cool and incredibly complicated done very well. It was fun, it made me laugh, I could not believe the number of (literal and figurative) layers that went into it. It was very, very cool to see, definitely worth taking the chance to go in person.
So that was my day yesterday. Woke up early this morning and thought I'd go through the day. About to go back to town for my last day of shows. Which is fine, I'm not feeling any predictable rising anxiety that the only thing I've been looking forward to for a year is almost over. It's okay, I'll have another little bit in London after this and that's nice as meeting my London friend in person has been one of the best parts of this, sorry that's a weird thing to say given that he reads this. But it's hardly the most overly personal thing I've ever communicated via a Tumblr post because I don't know how to actually talk to people. Except Tom Ballard, I did a great job of talking to him.
And aside from talking to Tom Ballard, yesterday was a slower day for comedian spotting, which was probably for the best (talking to Tom wasn't so much comedian "spotting", as comedian "awkwardly waiting around until everyone else had left after his show"). Jordan Brookes was in the audience at Sarah Keyworth's show. And here's a left-field one - Dominic Maxwell, the dick from The Times who once called Andy Zaltzman "[John Oliver's] left-behind sidekick", was in Natalie Palamides' show making notes for a review. Which I only know because she called attention to that when giving him an audience participation part, she turned it into something quite funny.
Okay, now I'm going into town for the last day. I've saved some of the established Fringe veterans for last - Seymour Mace, Mark Watson, David O'Doherty. Mat Ewins, another one where I thought it important to take the chance to see in oerson since he doesn't translate to recordings well. I didn't divide it up this way intentionally, but the identity-based demographic diversity of my Fringe schedule looks a lot better if you leave out the last day.

Criticisms and Praise of the RWBY Volume 9 intro
RWDE ahead, only read if you're alright with criticisms including nitpicks. (I have not seen the full ep and have only seen the intro, and all of my expressing fears I have for this season isn't saying it'll definitely be that, it's just expressing fears.)
Also RWBY volume 9-ish spoilers (it's just for the opening intro and song and stuff so it's not much of a spoiler but like better safe than sorry.)
The little opening melody doesn't fit very well with the rock theme later. I'm sure it sounds better in the full version, but with just what I've heard in the opening sequence, it feels disconnected from the rest of the song. I'm sure that's part of the point since there's a whole 'Team RWBY and Jauney boy are now disconnected from reality,' but... I just didn't like it.
2. On that note, I also didn't happen to like the song much. It's better than some of our themes have been and not as 'samey' as a lot of the higher speed RWBY music can be. OK Goodnight (I think that's what Casey Lee Williams' band is called) taking over the music I think is a good thing and I'm thinking we'll get some good songs, but this one - while it had good to it - didn't feel like anything particularly special.
3. The visuals of Weiss, Blake, and Yang being pictured together and Ruby being pictured on her own is good and clearly gets across that Ruby is likely to experience some isolation this volume.
But this?
Is not giving me high hopes. I want Jaune in support and I want him to not be an antagonist and I honestly don't want him and Neo to interact at all, ever. Hopefully they're just putting them here together because they didn't have time to do flashes of both of them alone, but also it's really not inspiring when you consider what Ruby being separated from her team says, because it's clearly imo meant to display to you that she's going to be on her own... So is Jaune being paired up with Neo here telling us to expect these two to join up?
4. They need to stop showing us the original outfits and then the Mistral arc looks and then these stupid new Atlas outfits that I hate (except for Ruby's.) They've done it for the past two volumes, it's no longer special and it just serves to remind me of how ugly the outfits are (again, except for Ruby's.)
5. Also omg guys but their faces in those scenes, let me see if I can get close ups.
So Weiss has a very basic character-less smile, okay, whatever. Blake is giving a smirky smirk, which doesn't feel very in character for Blake... Either version of how they've written for her. Yang is beaming away, just looking so psyched to be here somehow. And then the Ruby I have a pic of here is the original V1-3 Ruby, who looks like... No face that has ever been made by any person.
6. Also also, Blake's color isn't purple. I'm gonna say it a million times. Weiss's background looks vaguely blue, but then it settles on white when her emblem lights up. Yang's background is yellow and stays yellow. Blake's background looks black until it settles on purple! Like, I know that they've reinvented Blake to the point where she's pretty much a different person and therefore they might think she needs a different color than True Blake had, but by heavens, it makes me persnickety.
7. The themes for that particular sequence seem to be either 'Blake, Weiss, and Yang know who they are and are confident, but Ruby does not know and is not confident' or 'Blake, Weiss, and Yang are the best that they can be they are the best versions of themselves, but Ruby is not the best that she can be and is not the best version of herself.' I'm hoping it's the second one that might result in some good growth for Ruby, but at the same time, both things... Feel a little bit frustrating, because Blake, Weiss, and Yang should also be going through things and still in need of growth and stuff. I do think that Ruby's growth should be treated as particularly important since she's the main protag, but this isn't inspiring me to think that the others are gonna get any real growth themselves.
8. I hate all these mice. Including Litte. I could not be less enthusiastic about having to see them and deal with them. Same goes for the Racoon. And same goes for the cat. It might go well, but I doubt it, and even if the animals are as well done as they can be I still don't like that they're here.
9. I feel like just from the look of him, I could like this weird little... King Olly the Origami King do over with his bright red eyes. But I could also hate him, depending on how he's played. But it could go either way.
10. So I'm told that there are actual 'shadow people' in the fairy tale wonderland world, which is just... Peachy keen aces perfect. /s It's giving 'Shadow's House'
But, RWBY has never (in my knowledge) claimed to be full of original ideas, and the visual is cool. Also it's clear that the new girl (who I've seen referred to as Alice and Alex so idk what to call her) is really important due to how much she's featured in the intro, I've got theories, but I'm gonna talk about those later. The visual is nice. And while they're really hammering home Ruby's isolation and exhaustion and the breakdown they want us to think she has (not sure yet if there's gonna be convincing follow through there) arguably too much, I also like the image of her slowly starting to get left behind. I really hope this season gives me conflict eight ways to Sunday!
11. This is the ugliest thing I've ever seen.
I want it to be away from me. Also, how obvious can they get? Isn't RWBY supposed to be transformative? Why this season do they think 'let's just slap this Wonderland thing in our plot and make the design slightly different and it'll literally smoke the exact same thing and blow the smoke at everyone?' Who came up with this weirdo? I mean, besides the creators of these two:
It just doesn't feel creative or transformative, is my point. Maybe he has a role that makes him distinctive, but visually, this is lazy imo.
12. This expression is the stuff of my nightmares
I'm pretty sure that's the point, so... Good job there.
13. In contrast, Neo could not be hotter than she is right now... Except maybe if they fixed her hair back to the old way it was.
14. I like the style of this
It's pretty, and also a clear reference imo to 'the girl who fell through the world.' Also it's worth noting that Ruby is once again on her own. (please please please don't let this mean the development for the other girls is going to be minimal...)
15. This design is simple, but effective and I like it.
16. I think these backgrounds can look very PS2 game graphics-ish in a bad way.
(I want it to be clear that I don't blame the animators who were likely overworked, underpaid, and/or fired.)
Anyway, those are my criticisms and stuff of the opening intro.

The Lemon Legacy: Generation 1, Chapter 90 - The Babymoon Part 2
It's day two of the honeymoon and the newlyweds don't want to spend their entire vacation at the rental, so they hit the nearby beach for some fun... and a photoshoot courtesy of The Watcher!
There are a couple Aqua Zips in the water so they take advantage of them. Zip away, gang!
You certainly can't do THIS with a baby strapped to your back, so have fun while you can, Ophelia!
This screenshot does NOT capture the essence of how cool this looked in game but Ophelia did a dang flip! I wonder if it has to do with your fitness level because Xander never did a flip.
After their Aqua Zip escapades, Xander takes advantage of the bonfire. They may be in paradise but it IS winter, so it's not as hot as usual. Plus, bonfires are cool.
Besides, now Ophelia can do a fire dance! She's a pretty good dancer, so no fire hazards today!
Ophelia's fire dance draws a crowd when they realize who she is.
Lilliana: I see clips on FlipFlop of The Main Squeeze performing all the time! I've been begging my husband to see you live!
Ophelia: Well it was nice to meet you! I hope I see you at The Lemon Drop one day.
Lilliana: Is there any chance you could play some songs?
Ophelia: Well, I have some original stuff I've been working on but I don't know. I don't want to bother people.
Lilliana: It wouldn't be a bother! Sulani embraces the celebration of life, and isn't that what music is?
And so, that's how Ophelia finds herself performing a mini concert for the inhabitants of Sulani. Ophelia is getting closer and closer to becoming a 3 star celebrity every day, and this certainly gives her fame a boost!
As the sun begins to set, and before it's time to go back to the rental, Ophelia ends their time at the beach with a serenade for Xander.
These are the faces of two Sims who know they're getting laid tonight.
As Xander makes dinner for him and his wife, Ophelia checks in with Drew, who's housesitting for them.
Ophelia: Marshmallow's doing okay, right?
Drew: Yes, Ophelia. She's a cat. She doesn't do much.
Ophelia: Oh good. Help yourself to anything in the fridge!
Drew: Already did.
Ophelia: Were things okay at the bar tonight?
Drew: Yeah, Xander's assistant manager held down the fort pretty well. And the crowd seemed to like our set even without you. We just didn't have anyone fangirl and pass out.
Ophelia: It's not like I TRY to make people do that.
Drew: So did Xander preggo your eggo yet?
Ophelia: Shh!
Xander: You told them about that?
Drew: You're on speaker?
Ophelia: Well I wasn't expecting you to bring it up but I should have known better. And the answer is probably, but we'll have to wait and see!
Ophelia: Well, thank you for holding down the fort, and tell Moses thanks too. Love you!
Drew: Love you too, O. Don't you crazy kids do anything I wouldn't do.
Xander: Too late, we already know each other's names before we're sleeping together.
Drew: I heard that, dick!
Ophelia: After dinner, we should visit the waterfall! It's beautiful at night.
Xander: The waterfall you and Libby woohooed in?
Ophelia: I mean, yes, but it's a must-see when you're in Sulani.
Xander: Hey, sounds good to me.
Seeing the Mua Pel'am waterfalls brings back a lot of memories for Ophelia. Looking for frogs with her gran, her first woohoo. She doesn't regret her brief time with Libby, but she wants to make new memories with the love of her life.
Ophelia: You know, it really is something woohooing in a waterfall…
Xander: Do you have some kind of water fetish you've been hiding from me?
Ophelia: No! This is just my favorite place in all of Sulani, and I want to share it with you… Y'know, in a special way.
Ophelia: If last night didn't get me pregnant, I know we'll do it tonight, I just know it. This is going to be the start of something amazing, and I want our last night just the two of us to be really special. When I think of this waterfall, I want to think of you, and our baby.
Xander doesn't need much convincing. He pulls Ophelia close and kisses her before they wade closer to the bottom of the waterfall.
Ophelia: You ready?
Xander: More than ever.
Xander pulls her close and, with one final kiss, pulls her under the water for a woohoo to remember.
Ophelia: Dang! Did you see all those sparkles? Well done!
Xander: I aim to please.
They go back to their rental and cuddle up, exhausted from two nonstop days of adventure. Let's hope they're about to go on a new adventure together.

OKAY DOING THIS I'M. Gonna ramble so like be warned lmao. I'm too impatient to get asked about things and also I don't shut up smnsns
Anyway proceed for the rambles™
Edit before posting: I've answered 5 and this is gonna be long, brace yourselves if you're reading this 😭
1. Hm... Leo and I have done so many things together it's hard to say, but maybe when we spent a month together in Italy. We decided it was time for a much needed vacation and ended up dragging the other knights along since they're dating him as well (although I'm platonic with them ♡). We all spent so much time together as well as Leo and I alone and it was lovely
2. Probably being clingy.......... <3 as someone who struggles with trust, clinginess means a lot to me. And even if it's obviously not for everyone, Leo doesn't mean spending ungodly amounts of time with me, in fact he loves it ♡ he's very much clingy as well and we often just spend time doing our own thing and just hanging out together in silence or even with headphones on. I guess we just love each other's company and being there™ with the other
3. I'd say it depends. If we're speaking personality wise, then probably my openness with love? Just the way I'm very open about how much I love him and the fact that I'm not aware to share that with everyone is something that he probably appreciates a lot. As for physical traits hmmmm I'd say he does like my appearance as a whole a lot, but he enjoys drawing constellations on my freckles and playing with my hair (curly hair moment) so maybe that
4. CUDDLING. We cuddle and talk about literally anything. Sometimes it's really meaningful stuff and sometimes extremely stupid and I love both ♡ cuddling and rambling to each other is the way to go for us
5. Composing together!!! I'm an idol in the Enstars universe (not in Yumenosaki) + LOVE making music irl as well ♡ Leo and I compose and jam together all the time and we love it!! I feel like we get each other in a special sort of way, so we're able to make these sessions really enjoyable :3 and for 2 music nerds this is obviously peak pastime
6. Well he calls me puppy since I'm. A dog™ as well as Qiuqiu/Qiu which is just a nicknamed version of my name (amongst many others). I call him uchuu/chuu because he's an alien (so he's from space) and he's my universe :3 anddd chuu sounds like I'm sending him kisses
7. Literally anything he does makes me happy /hj
But I really like it when he rambles about the things he likes or hums to himself or makes any of his weird little noises /aff
8. Oh boy... I'd say both the time he opened up to me about everything that happened during the war and the time I opened up to him about my own trauma. I think both were a turning point for us to fully understand each other and where each one of us wanted to head to in the future as well as together as a couple.
It was definitely tough and I know both of us feared talking about those things, but ultimately it was for the better and I'm glad I trusted him to this day as well as grateful that he was able to trust me.
9. If it's him rambling definitely music or space. He loves rambling about them and I'm more than happy to listen!! As I said before, I love music so that's never a problem and I'm happy to let him ramble and give my own feedback. I think we both like space in very contrasting ways; he likes the mysteries and conspiracy theories surrounding it and I like the facts and science behind it. I love listening to him and trying to piece together objective evidence to support his claims.
As for me? Probably biology, Greek mythology or Pokémon lol. Those are my three special interests and, in general, Leo will listen to anything I have to say. It's easy to feel heard with someone like him
10. Everything ♡ he loves everything about me and he makes sure I'm aware. He's pretty much been telling me ever since we met
11. "YOU'RE LIKE LIKE!!! GESTURES WILDLY AAAGH YOU MAKE ME FEEL LIKE WHEN I MAKE MUSIC AND AND IT'S COMING OUT REALLY EASILY AND I'M OVERJOYED"
12. Literally all of them. I joke about this often but he's a professional lover, he's so good at loving it often astounds me
13. Sunflowers, sunny skies, happy and cheerful songs, puppies, colorful things, anything music related (obviously), the word "smile" and variations... I could go on and on because I'm afraid I see him everywhere always ♡
14. If I had to make a list, I don't think it would end honestly. Having each other is already more than we could ask for
15. I feel like we're just the perfect match. We understand each other and we brighten each other's lives, we instinctively know what the other needs and what to give at any given time and love each other like it's breathing. And honestly it's easy to love life when we're together
Woah that's long!! If anyone actually read this congratulations lol but also thanks~ I hope you enjoyed my rambling as much as I enjoyed sharing more about Leo and I, and excuse the cheesiness lmao have a good day ♪

1989 | Michael Penn - “No Myth”
So these posts I've been writing are documenting a project: A playlist that gets to the core of how I've experienced music in my life—one song for each year I've been alive. As I've been going through the process, I noticed most of the songs I chose are from foundational artists with long careers. Most of these artists have multiple songs and albums that are special to me. And I've had a REALLY hard time picking just one song and one year to represent these them.
But "No Myth" by Michael Penn isn't really that. It's just a great song that haunts me. A song that felt formative in my life, even if I never really cared about anything else he did. I mean, it's nothing personal. Michael Penn has had a long and fruitful career. He's released multiple critically acclaimed albums. He's the brother of famous actors Chris and Sean Penn. He's married to one of my all-time favorite songwriters, Aimee Mann. He's been a prolific film and tv composer.
So while It's accurate to say "No Myth" was his only Top 40 hit, I don't consider Penn a one-hit wonder. Still, that's kind of what he is for me. I've heard a bunch of his other stuff, and it's fine. But I only liked this one song.
But, damn, what a song.
The insistent marching drums (for which the album is named). The oblique, literary lyrics. The hummable, descending bass line in the verse. The exquisite Lennon-esque vocal melody over a simple, driving acoustic guitar. Hearing this song is when I started to figure out what I love about music. And when I started to write my own songs, I was trying to build songs like this.
But I said haunting, and what haunts me is the Chamberlin organ the song uses to augment its god-tier guitar solo. As I learned from MTV, Harry Chamberlain's invention was a precursor to the Mellotron: an analog electric keyboard that played short tape recordings of music each time you pressed a key. Essentially, it was a machine built to play back samples of music before samplers or synthesizers existed.
The sound of the Chamberlain undulating beneath the lead guitar is intoxicating. And for a long time after hearing this song, it became what I demanded when I sought out new music. I wanted guitars and keyboards, but I no longer wanted songs that sounded like the bright synths and super-compressed lead guitars of the 80s. I wanted stuff that evoked the Beatles and Stones. Stuff that sounded like classic rock but also sounded new. Back then, I would describe this as "organic," years before organic food was really a thing. I was probably reading too much music criticism (I definitely read too much music criticism).
Fave Lyrics:
Some time from now you'll bow to pressure Some things in life you cannot measure by degrees I'm between the poles and the equator Don't send no private investigator to find me please 'Less he speaks Chinese And can dance like Astaire overseas (okay)
P.S. Lots of people I know love the rest of the album. They love multiple Michael Penn albums. But, as I said, I only really like this one song. I made a whole other playlist of songs that are like this for me. Not necessarily one hit wonders. Most of them aren't hits at all. They're just songs by artists both obscure and well-known where, for whatever reason, only one song ever did it for me. The playlist is called The Sound of One Song Hitting.

do you any recommendations of what to look out for/things you're excited for for melbourne fringe? i missed it last year because i was working crazy hours but im hoping to see a few things this year but i dont know where to start
Oh, man, yeah, the program is enormous, as it is every year, and honestly it's a challenge to navigate even being a part of the industry, so I totally feel you on not knowing where to start. Ultimately, what you want to see is going to depend on what you're into, so I'm going to put the comedy and cabaret performances to one side, and focus on the theatre program, if that's okay? Just because I can probably speak to it a little better, haha.
SO! Places to start:
Ballkids (or, scenes from a friendship) - love the creative team on this, and I've yet to see anything Liv's been involved in that hasn't blown me away. She is, I think, one of the most exciting emerging theatremakers in Australia right now. Her work tends to run the gamut of emotion from genuinely very funny to gutwrenchingly devastating, and her focus tends to be on specific moments in youth that change, well, everything. I'm really excited to see this one.
I Once Was a Tree - this is puppet theatre, so full disclaimer if that's not your vibe, haha, but I've worked with some of the artists from Bonkel Thetare before and I just love the creative team there too. They're really a great bunch of people and immensely talented, so I think this will be pretty special.
I saw Patrick Livesey in Sirens a couple of years ago (a play he actually did with Liv) and he was really incredible, he's just a really, really talented performer, so I'm really excited to see him in I Hope This Means Something.
Smother's also got a really exciting creative team and sounds really interesting, so I'm hoping to get to that this week.
There's a lot of Sydney talent involved in After Rebecca. I haven't seen it or worked with anyone on it, but I've heard positive things through the grapevine + it's had very good reviews. I love Daphne du Maurier's Rebecca too, so I'm curious as to what this one might be like.
A bit expensive for Fringe (although it's on at the Arts Centre), but I'm hearing quite a bit of buzz about Werewolf. Written by Van Badham too, which is exciting. Her stuff's often very good.
Not All Men - this is being run by a newer company (they were only established last year), but it got some good reviews and hype at Adelaide Fringe earlier in the year, so it sounds like it could be worth checking out.
The We the People x Yarra art exhibit / social history looks awesome and like one of the more exciting free events they're doing.
And just to keep things a little gothic, haha, the adaptation of Edgar Allen Poe's The Black Cat got really good reviews out of Adelaide Fringe too and has been nominated for a few awards already this year. I'm hearing really good things about it, and apparently the music in particular is off the hook.
Hopefully some of these take your fancy!
#i'm also seeing a bunch of kids stuff this year as my nephews will be in town for some of it#love simon's commitment as festival director to programming a lot of live performance for kids#so many of the festivals here are bad with it#which honestly shrinks theatre audiences AND means there's less places for tya to get workshopped#rl#melbourne fringe 2024

Feel like making a giant post of some of the new songs I've heard in the past weeks... None of them are particularly good...
Let's start with Eunbi, because I like her. As usual, her music has that kind of tacky, dated sound that somehow charms while sounding cheap. I can't tell if I hate it or like it. She hasn't topped Glitch by a long mile, but she's very consistent. I think Sabotage is as good as any of her previous releases, like Underwater, but I remember liking her albums and this one, which is just 3 songs, isn't great. Unnatural is very forgettable, Bad Blood is better but also forgettable.
Let's talk about the Sabotage MV and choreo for a sec. The MV confused me, because I'm shit at understanding the obvious, but it seemed like she was hooking up with a guy and a girl, separately, and then found out that the girl and guy were hooking up alone and that was "sabotage" lmao? The lesbian subtext was pretty much text. It was certainly a bold video. Had me hooked. The choreo was... a choice. It's mostly pretty average gg choreo, but I really don't get the choice to have her support herself on a male dancer and twerk her ass at the audience, or the choice to have her dramatically lipsync two high notes like it was even remotely realistic (hate it when idols do this, it looks so fucking ridiculous and like they're insulting our intelligence), or why the song ends with a guy twirling a chair on the floor - where does the chair even come from? Can't even remember seeing it in the choreo... Anyway, choices.
Moving on to SVT, I wanted to talk about two songs. They're doing a lot of unit stuff now, it seems. I honestly only enjoy their tts - most of their music is very mid to me, and I don't get how they're overflowing with talent. A lot of the members don't have amazing stage presence, vocals, or anything and it's the half that does that people brag about. Anyway, Wonwoo and Jeonghan did a song together, which was... not great to me. They went all out on the MV, and the song itself isn't terrible, but Jeonghan has very weak vocals and can't carry a song by himself with just another person. Wonwoo is also nothing special imo. I watched their M Countdown stage and it was pretty boring.
The performance team released a song a while back, Spell, and it was... another choice... I thought the MV was lowkey pretty ridiculous - it was well edited, had some cool visuals, but the outfits were so outlandish and it was so maximalist... I think I'm being prejudiced because that much makeup and femininity was a bit uncomfortable to me, and I would probably like the video more if it was a gg - but, Dino saying "everyday I'll give it to you" while dramatically thrusting his hips was hilarious. You have 4 guys who, imo, are not sexy, trying to make a sexy song. Their vocals also aren't anything special, apart from Hoshi's. But kudos on them for making a bold MV - especially Jun, for his cropped top, short shorts and knee high boots combo - but, performance wise, nothing about it worked for me. The song itself is okay? It's probably a grower.
I've listened to so many other songs...
WayV She a Wolf - what a mess. Some parts were good, but some of the choreo and that antidrop chorus were a disaster. Only heard the song once though. Kudos to them for nailing the Korean.
RIIZE Boom Boom Bass - I started paying more attention to them when I saw they are all adults (young, but still). Their last song was better imo, but this one was pretty decent. Very Exo instead of NCT, which is different for SM.
Everglow Zombie - I liked the song on first listen because I was expecting worse, but it's pretty plain. I feel bad for them. They had their first comeback in a year or more, they don't tour... How do they make money?? (They probably don't). I imagine they're close to disbanding even if they're pretty well known among kpop fans. I thought fans would appreciate the chiller song after Pirate, but maybe not. Kpop fans always hate it when groups "change concept", but stop liking said concepts when they become dated... Have to listen to their other new tracks.
ARTMS Virtual Angel - An okay song... Nice... But the MV was... the strangest I've seen, like it was on actual crack. Have to listen to the album.
Treasure King Kong - First time I listened to it I had second hand embarrassment and couldn't understand why 2nd gen music was making a comeback. It has a certain charm - it's very camp, very kpop - but it's also the type of song people think of when they mock kpop. Wouldn't in a million years show it to a non kpoppie...
XG Woke Up - Choreo slaps in it's simplicity, the girl always doing the chorus has sick facial expressions (that smile), the girls are actually pretty good rappers, and some verses are amazing. But XG are definitely hard to digest. It's all about shock value. A lot of their lyrics are painfully cringe, and the whole wolf concept they did was both brilliant and yikes (MV was magnetic in it's weirdness - they made the members look kinda ugly and didn't care, but it was also so cringe; definitely for the shock value - those teeth... why are idols doing this now?).
WOOAH Pom Pom Pom - Have to listen to it again, but it didn't sound great, and, wow, they really went for the sexiness, I guess. Very different for them.
H1-Key Let it Burn - Please stop with the pop rock in kpop.
There are a million other releases I could comment on, but I'll stop here.
While I'm letting it all out, Nayeon's performances have been so dull. She has bright vocals and a fun personality, but on stage she's been emotionless and stiff. ABCD is a powerful song, supposedly mature and sexy, but she's unconfident on stage. She's just doing the choreo and moving her lips. It doesn't look like she's happy, and it's not sexy or cool at all. She doesn't have the skillset to pull off this choreo and song. The MV was one thing, but live... And her performance video was bad. JYPE tried to be hip and failed.
Okay, goodbye now.

Week ending: 12th May
And we're caught up to "real time" (in terms of days and months, not years obviously!) I enjoy it when that happens, and I also enjoy seeing a new artist around. And it's a band, too - that feels like it's not been as common so far, or they've been dedicated backing groups that get credited, but I know we're going to see more and more actual bands as the years wear on.
Melody of Love - The Ink Spots (peaked at Number 10)
I've heard of the Ink Spots - I think they did the song "I Don't Want to Set the World On Fire"? So I'm expecting some tight vocal harmonies and a doo-wop-ish or barbershop sound, possibly. Let's see if I'm right!
Oooh, okay, so we start with some jazzy soft saxophone, and gentle crooning "oooh" backing over a 3/4 organ line. The organ's barely audible in the background, and it gives the whole thing an echoey, slightly ethereal atmosphere. It's slow and gentle, and I do like it, with its easy listening vibes.
And then we get a spoken word intro! I can't remember if we've had voice over segments before, and normally I'm not the biggest fan of them, but I do appreciate how different it sounds to everything else we've heard so far. If anything, it's giving Barry White, or some other later soul singer - all deep and smooth and earnest. It's also specific to this version, I think; from what I can tell, the song was originally an instrumental, and though a guy called Tom Glazer added lyrics, they don't seem to be the lyrics we see here.
Which is a shame, because they're pretty cool. It's some romantic stuff, as whoever is speaking proclaims: Why do I love you? I love you not only for what you are, but what I am when I'm with you. I love you not only for what you've made of yourself, but darling, what you're making of me. I love you for ignoring the possibilities of the fool in me, and laying firm hold of the possibilities of the good in me.
There's an argument to be made that it's a pretty self-centred view of love, loving somebody purely because of how they make you better and not for any quality that's purely theirs. But I think that's a rather mean-spirited thing to say, especially when the opening lyric describes loving somebody "not only" for what they are. Which tells me that the singer also appreciates their love on their own terms, it's just that that's not what this song is about. This song is about loving somebody who brings out the best in you, and you know what, that's kind of beautiful!
There's barely any singing throughout, apart from a brief line between the two spoken sections, as the band sing Love is everywhere / Love is in the air. Which is more a refrain, just to break up the whole thing and make it feel like it's moving along.
And then we're back to the extended metaphors of the spoken segment, as the singer croons about how I love you for ignoring the dischords in me and for adding to the music in me by worshipful listening. That's probably the most complex metaphor in the whole thing, actually, and it's got something to say, if you tease it out, about the role of music and musical harmony as a metaphor for something deeper and more transcendental about you, and your inner "harmony" and balance.
I like the track. It does leave me with some questions about how and why people listened to this, though. It just feels so intimate and intense, you really can only listen alone or (preferably) with one special person. Can you imagine listening to this in public, or with friends, or blasting from a radio? This is a track you put on at home, at night, in private, and only then. Which is fine, but I'm surprised it made the charts, to be honest.
I liked this. It chilled me out, and made me think things about love. It threaded the needle of being earnest without feeling overblown. The minimalism of the rest of the track forms a background on which the spoken poetry of it - because it is poetry - can really shine. Not a song to listen to every day, but I'm glad this song exists, still.
Favourite "song" of the bunch: Melody of Love

They are trying to apprehend Madonna. And I mean her body and that's what they were doing the music video for and they did another video with other people that trying to crab and with the Doberman race dogs with armor on and the other ones doing it they found out it is the max. They also found out that they're loading up the cavern and the max are going to use it and on them and it was probably enough but it was said last night and they're moving out and doing things and really the level of stupidity of the guy next door can never be understated and people should be giving our son much more of a break and they don't but they're trying to stop him so it's understandable he's insane and there's too many of them and what a piece of s*** he is. Tons of people who understand what our son is saying about this guy. Now moving on again to another subject but really we have to get rid of this idiot and I'm issuing orders
-other things are happening in Charlotte county they're going around and firing people from their jobs and that would be the comptroller and they're not replacing them cuz they're not really doing anything they're just sitting around wasting time and blabbing on the telephone and they run around town was government or towntrucks doing nothing. We're going to answer them for doing nothing and taking a check and doing nothing arresting them for fraud. And okay here the local government is doing so and basically it's mostly trumpsters that are getting fired and arrested for doing nothing and the back warlock both the others are forced to do nothing because of these and they're bringing them up on charges and they want them out it is going on now and they are seeking them on special warrant for their activities it's a form of terrorism. There were mostly trumpsters in HHS and people who are not them reported them and told people what they were doing back then and they got hurt or they're missing and he actually started to harass our son that certainly more so than usual it was because the group was just banded and he was removed from that school and he said to them are you insane because he had killed people at school and that pulling him out like it's nothing like he's just an idiot and he starts talking backwards so I sound broken and said you're killing your own time kind and they don't care that you're doing that you're harassing me and they want you to that's why they're not insane you're doing it because they want to provoke her reaction against people like me who you put in the wrong situation and he goes I certainly understand what you're saying about you then he said they probably understand I've been murdering people you're saying what I say is do you think they know stupid they run the CIA from this town and he said oh I'm in trouble and yeah you shouldn't be doing that on your own people and he said it's kind of funny cuz you're friends with them and I'm hurting them and I shouldn't be because they're us I said yeah it's not really right so he didn't laugh anymore and smacks by the way in there trying to go after us too I guess my clan so he said okay. Did you find out something just sitting there watching him do it and we're having him do it and also he said this this is a powerful magic in them and we want to do this so he's getting ready to try and get the things. That's right Billy you heard them with those things and you can hurt the people that had you do it wasn't my clan or my people or the overlords and he said good it's a secret elders so he's laughing but now he knows who they are.
-there's a lot of stuff happening here is the fight over the islands. And Mallory says you two bags are stupid but it was our son who provoked it.
So should publish he says

It's probably enough of your Roger character he says he's smoking cigarillos that cigarettes and learn to inhale from Justin

album review : spacegirl and other favorites
released: 1993 or 1995
genre: shoegaze, psychedelic rock
continuing strong with bjm's second album, spacegirl! similar to pol pot, there's definitely some confusion around when this album was released. it's essentially a collection of older demos, mainly recorded in '93 as far as i understand it, but the details get muddled around an actual release date. nonetheless, this is an album i've always really loved but i've never taken a deep dive listen into it before! let's just say this is shoegaze central and i'm excited to jump back into it. i'm also glad that i can finally analyze lyrics lol.
also, anton genuinely writing a special thanks to "our fans everywhere and women" for this album has me dying. i love it.
on to the songs!
crushed
this is definitely an interesting one to start the album off with, but bjm has never really been known for strategic song placements. anyway, the beginning is this weird guitar sound that grows into an actual riff that just blasts right through you, especially when the drums come in. i like the line "i can fly but i'm not free," there's some fun lyrics in this song that really speak to anton's songwriting. more poetic kind of stuff! which, he's obviously capable of writing pretty much anything and everything, but i always enjoy the more flowery lyrics we get in some of these songs. overall, a great track!
rating: 8/10
that girl suicide
to be so completely fucking honest, i don't think there's a moment in life where i could ever not love this song. it's a banger through and through, the riff just makes you want to move!!! a fast paced chord progression with the drums, and the lyrics def seem to refer to some kind of drug use ... which then all goes into this amazing fucking raw guitar sound that i can't even describe, you just have to listen to it. i do really enjoy the live version's switch up of lyrics ( as well as how they're sung ) and inclusion of maracas, i might even like the live version's lyric style a little better than the studio version's. and i will say, having heard this song live before ( twice! ), it's a mesmerizing experience and just. SO GOOD!!! the little "oooOooOoo"s also fucking kill me they're just great and so fun to sing along to. i didn't even think i was going to have much to say about this track tbh but apparently i was uh. wrong! i think it's just because i adore this song and always have, it's definitely one of my fav bjm songs and probably forever will be.
rating: 11/10
deep in the devil's eye & you
now THIS is a shoegaze ass fucking song. starts off similar to crushed, with this kind of droning guitar sound, then we get the drums coming in with this great beat and then the PICK SLIDE?!???? it destroys me every single fucking time the beat drops. i've got no idea what the lyrics to this song are, but i do enjoy the vocals a fair amount and i think all of the music works so well together. it gets a little repetitive for me, but it's not an insanely long song so i give it a pass. but i really like this one!! i still remember the day i first heard it lol i was like damn okay!! bjm beat drop!!! anyway.
rating: 8/10
kid's garden
a song that couldn't be more different from the last one, kid's garden is soft and melancholic and just speaks to me so hard!!! the maracas are great here and i just really love how the guitar notes align with exactly how anton sings. "angel, there's no sense calling out your name" has been one of my favorite bjm lyrics for a long time and remains my fav one in this song. i also really like "and lay the branches there at your feet." just these poetic little lyrics i can't get enough of!!! but fuck when we get to the 'angel's child' part and anton's voice rises up with the guitar following his pitch?!??? UGH. ugh. so fucking good. this song is long but i actually really like the length, mainly bc the song is so calming so it doesn't even feel repetitive ... it all just flows through you. it's definitely an experience, esp when we get a little switch into the keyboard and drums coming in, before it returns back to the soft melody from before. there's just something about this song that simultaneously heals me and hurts me. the feeling of an old friend. nostalgia. childish hope for the future. i don't know! so many emotions going on here and it pulls so much out of me. i really love it.
rating: 10/10
when i was yesterday
i really, really enjoy this song, rarely do i end up skipping it actually! it's hard to explain what's even going on but i looove how anton sounds in this and the lil guitar riffs between the lyrics ... very good stuff. the grain really brings this all together i think. this is a pretty average length song, it doesn't usually feel too long so i appreciate that. i also like the lead up into the ending a lot. not much more to say here!!
rating: 9/10
spacegirl
ahhhhh spacegirl ... almost twelve minutes of pure bliss to my fucking ears. i've fallen asleep to this song i can't even count how many times, it's very pretty and soft and is great for passing the time. i love the very beginning, anton's random ass line... then we get into it. truthfully it never gets old to me despite kind of repeating the same shit, "just let me love you," the chords are really soothing and i wish i knew what they were!! unfortunately i do not, my go to man for tutorials has not yet figured out the chords so we'll see if someone ever figures it out lol. anton sure as hell doesn't know. anyway, another song about love! from bjm?!?? insane ( sarcasm ). no but i love the lyrics of this song, they're def giving similar vibes to crushed and kid's garden. besides hide and seek, this is pretty much my go to song from this album, i really really love it. then the fade out into the next one ... good stuff.
rating: 10/10
spacegirl - revisited
leading out of what the last one left off with, we get walmart version spacegirl! kidding, kind of. anyway this is purely instrumental and continues a lot of the same themes, it def grows on me as it continues on but really it's just an extended version of spacegirl and there's not much more i can say on it! i kind of don't love it but i don't hate it either, it's just there for me ( but bonus points for it being a continuation of a great song ).
rating: 6/10
after the fall
i will say, i very much enjoy the drums on this song. and the chorus is good with the very echoed vocals ... honestly tho for me there's just not much going on here! i truly don't have much more to say, i think it's the most average track so far and gets a little repetitive for me, simply because there's noooot a whole lot happening.
rating: 5/10
thoughts of you
not to be mistaken with thoughts of you too from pol pot lol. i loooove the guitar on this song and it's actually really fun to play, the intro is emotional and the music really just works so well. again with the making me a little bit sad! but there's something about the chord progression that gives that feeling and it feels like emotion genuinely went into this. another really good lyric - "life has lost its mystique under trembling time." banger fucking lyrics in this one, very very poetic. i think anton's voice is good here and it all just WORKS. this just feels like ... longing. and i love it.
rating: 9/10
hide and seek
OOOOOOOOOHHHH BOYYYY. this one doesn't even need to be thought about, instant 1,000,000/10. i think this is bjm's best fucking song and there is genuinely nothing that can ever beat it for me. so uh. yes! hide and seek is my favorite bjm song, in fact maybe my favorite song of all time. i fucking LOVE the chords and the shoegaziness of it all?!??? you can barely understand what this guy is saying, can barely hear him actually, and it's just fucking great. amazing lyrics. chorus slaps like nothing else and i can't even properly describe the way it makes me feel. the "ahhh ah ahh" WITH THE 'WE PLAY HIDE AND SEEK'???!? fucking amazing. this is another song about longing and it shows so well in the lyrics and the music and ALL OF IT. all of it. fucking perfect song. it doesn't overstay it's welcome and even if it was as long as spacegirl i wouldn't care, it's that good. if you like shoegaze this should be your new favorite because nothing beats it, not even e to g. best track on this album for SURE.
rating: 1,000,000/10
never, ever!
winding down from good old hide and seek ... we have never, ever! i don't love the way anton sings these lyrics to be so real and the music doesn't do a whole lot for me, it stays pretty steady throughout the whole song. i like some of the soloing going on though! i don't even know the last time i listened to this whole song, it's definitely been like ... a year at this point probably. but it is six minutes so i don't really blame myself considering i already don't really like it. alright song, not my fav and def the weakest on this album. but it definitely keeps that same theme and feel we get with all of these songs! this would've been a 4/10 but the soloing really makes up for everything else so it gets a point added.
rating: 5/10
ashtray
wow, it's been a bit since i heard this one either. LOTS of feedback in the start of this song which i can't tell if it's purposeful or not... either way, nooooot my favorite, i mean it's alright! but it isn't doing much for me. i do like the solos as i pretty much always do in every bjm song ever, but that's about it. this feels a little misplaced on this album, considering all of the other songs follow a pretty set theme / vibe / style, but i know this is a collection of old demos so, hey! more bjm! but this definitely could've gone on another album i think. or gone to one of the compilation albums lol.
rating: 5/10
fire song
the notes and solos on this song are really catchy... would probs be very fun to play on guitar. this definitely fits in with the rest of the album especially with some of the lyrics like "there was a fire so i jumped inside / i got lost inside you." good stuff! a pretty simple song, not much going on here so i can't say too much on it. it's a good old average joe.
rating: 5/10
maleka - bonus track
this song being on here is so fucking funny i almost can't stand it. this is very much better suited to the next album it appears on, which is give it back!, but here it just sounds soooooo out of place. like ??? what's this country shit doin' on spacegirl! anyway as a song i do enjoy it but it's so terribly placed i hate it here. i mean i know it's a bonus track but guuuuuys ..... please. just listen to this compared to something like kid's garden it couldn't be any more different. but uh yeah a fine song! country ish for sure which i love so it gets a good little rating from me.
rating: 7/10
aaaaand that's spacegirl! definitely shorter than pol-pot's pleasure penthouse, but i think there are some great songs on this album and the entire overarching style really speaks to me. i like the vocals we get and especially the deep feeling of emotion that comes with so many of these songs. it's really just superb, especially in the songs that shine the most. and this album DOES hold my favorite song so it's even more special to me <3 overall i'd give this a pretty good score!
hits: hide and seek, kid's garden, spacegirl
misses: never ever!, ashtray, maleka
overall album score: 7.5/10
next up we've got methodrone! i've listened to the full album but it's been a while sooo we'll see what my rating ends up being lol. loved spacegirl tho!! so i have high hopes for their next ( and kind of last ) shoegaze album before we start getting into the alt rock and country stuff. which i also cannot wait for. but yes expect methodrone sometime soon probably!

Idol!Yunho x staff!Reader: Any Body Can Dance
Summary: A classic Friends to lovers story and basically fluff. Lets say being one of the only young staff and the only Atiny staff makes you catch the eye of the boss who make you a really close friend. But, one of them had a special heart towards you.
A/n: Idk if anyone will read this, but this is one of my first fics so, sorry for any mistakes
---------------------------------------
"I thought your work was over" Maddox said as he stood beside you infront of the vending machine. "It is" you said as I grabbed a bottle of chilled lemon tea, and a pepsi.
"Then what are you doing here today? On a Friday evening after your shift?" He asked, I still feel swooned over his brit accent.
"I had nothing better to do, and the boys were practicing, so I was just watching and cheering for them" I said smiled. Maddox had always been like an older brother to me since I started doing a small project for Edenary. That's how I met Hongjoong and the boys, Immediately clicking with the 99 liners, being one myself. But somehow I was closest to Yunho and Wooyoung.
"Aish, Y/n-ah you need to go out, with friends, do some stuff" Maddox said with a big sigh.
"I will, I just don't feel like doing anything today and also I didn't wanna be lonely. And the boys said they didn't mind, and Woo promised food" I said grinning
"That's good but don't stay too late okay?" He said and I nodded and went back my way to the studio. I entered the studio door to find only Mingi, Wooyoung and Yunho. I sat in my designated spot, the three were trying to fix some mis synchronised parts and better a few steps which they feel they were lacking at. The rest had already went home. Soon, Yunho and Wooyoung drop on my both sided and Mingi said a faint good bye, picked his bag, ruffled my hair and ran away. I ran my fingers through their sweaty hairs. I knew these two liked that, specially Yunho, who leaned in like a little puppy. I left Wooyoung's hair and put more attention on Yunho and I heard Wooyoung groan.
"Hey I'm your bias!" He said with a pout.
"So?" I said as Yunho giggled.
"I should get more attention" he said with a cheeky smile and a wink and I went wide eyes, This guy sure knows how to get on my nerves. But the guy didn't stop, he stared deep into my eyes and leaned infront of my face.
"I reget the moment I told you your my bias" I said playfully shoving him off.
"Oh yeah Y/n, I have prepared something for you"
"Really what?" Wooyoung bet me in speaking.
"Y/n, Woo thats me, its my question" I pouted and he came over and hugged me. That's his love language, physical contact, I've gotten used to it, being one of the only staff around their age the members were always comfortable with me.
So Yunho continued "I noticed you are quite obsessed with this song so.." he trailed off and chose a certain song whose music was oh so known to me.
I literally gasped and said "Nooooo!"
And Yunho ran back to the center of the room, and threw in step after step, meeting every beat and rhythm. It was visible he practiced it, he did it with a soft smirk in his face. I kept looking at him in awe. The way he moved his body to meet each beat really made me feel in different ways. I just kept staring at him, while at a point Wooyoung unlatched himself from me and ran to join Yunho in the choreo, and damn was the moment intense. Even I felt a blush creep onto my cheeks. It ended and I was awestruck for a few seconds and then I started clapping, I literally stood up and engulfed Yunho in a hug. I dont know why but this gesture of his made me so touched. And Wooyoung dramatically cleared his throat, I just looked at him and signalled him to join in and he hugged the both of us.
As we ate the food Woo order why talking about the randomest stuff and Yunho suddenly said "Y/n lets teach you the routine"
"What do you mean teach me? Why?" I asked not looking up from the food. And suddenly I realised and asked "Wait! Why are you putting me and Dance in the same line? I don't dance!" I said, but that's not true and even Wooyoung knows it, so gave him a look and he shook his head.
"I've seen you doing our Wave choreo with Woo, that day" he said wiggling his eye brows.
"Oh god! I can't I'm embarrassed, its embarrassing" I said hiding behind Woo, "no its not, you're good" Woo affirmed.
"And Anybody can dance, besides, we're not judging you, its just your friends. And Woo's already seen you dance besides, its a two people's choreo anyway" Yunho said shrugging
"Hey thats bias privileges!" Woo added.
But I gave in, I wanted to do it. "Okay lets do this! But go slow okay" I said.
Yunho and Wooyoung stood up and I stood up behind them. I did a bit of stretching as they told me to and I began, Yunho teaching me very carefully. Seems like this was his plan all along. I dip and up and the two idiots cheered.
"Considering you haven't danced in ages. I'd say you are amazing" Woo said.
"Yay! This way we could be ready to show the others in no time" he looked so excited when he said that, damn I can't deny him. "Only if we can shoot it for my private id, you can wear a mask.
"Done" He said.
And I was excited. We practiced quite a bit after that, staying back late, at times Wooyoung would accompany us and at times it would be just me and Yunho. Yunho's affirmations helped me gain my confidence alot.
And finally the day on which we decided to show the other members came. Yunho and I went for shopping the day before, we bought matching sweats and tshirts, with a mask.
It was so fun as Wooyoung, shot our video and I danced off with Yunho, trying to keep up with him, trying to catch every beat just how he taught me. And the boys kept cheering, their cheers only died down in the end as each of them cane in for a hug, telling praises and how they were all shocked.
"We should do this more often I'm bored of dancing with these same idiots for so long!" Yunho said laughing, as Wooyoung literally tackled you in a hug, "You burnt it. How dare you say you can't dance!"
"I can't and your going overboard with the comments" I said
"I'm serious you were good for someone who hasn't danced in as long as you say" Seonghwa came up and said with a wide smile.
"Aww Hwa!" I coo and he opened his arms as I hugged him. "Your such a softy Hwa" I muffled and said.
----------------------------------------------------
3rd Person pov
"So you've been here that long. God, that great!" He told you. You were talking to a staff whom you got to know is from the same country as you and he's also around your age, he is one of the stylists here.
What you didn't know was a pair of eyes watching you closely.
"You'll burn a hole in her head" Hongjoong's voice was heard as he sat down beside an almost fuming Yunho.
"Hyung, she's been talking to him too much. It's- nothing" Yunho stopped mid sentence and sighed. The guys were just taking a break from the practice. You had come to see them for a bit and met this friend on your way out and are now chatting up.
"If that bothers you so much then why dont you make a move?" Seonghwa said sitting in front of him with San at tow.
"Like dude you need to drop hints and play smooth, else how's she gonna know?!" San said
"What if she doesn't like me that way. I think she likes Wooyoung. Like the way they interact and stuff" Yunho said feeling depressed.
"Wooyoung? What makes you think that?" San asked
"He's her bias!”
"Hey I'm also her Bias! That's not even a point here" Seonghwa exclaimed.
"They are so close and all" Yunho tried to reason further.
"Woo is like that with everyone" they stopped to look at Wooyoung forcefully cuddle Yeosang who is trying to break free. "Yunho stop being stupid and tell me. Do you like her?" Hongjoong asked in all seriousness.
"Yes" He answered firmly not even taking a minute to think.
"Then go ask her out" Hongjoong said.
"Okay! Yes!" Yunho said standing up
"Even if you get rejected it would be worth it" San said and made Yunho nervous.
You were about to return back when Yunho called you. "Hey Y/n"
"Hi Yunho. Whats up?"
"Do you wanna go out? Get coffee?" Yunho asked
"You want coffee? Why would we need to go out for that? You wait I'll order all your usuals!" You said cheerfully
"Y/n, Y/n! Wait!" He called out, stopping you by your shoulder before you could rush out.
"I meant that we could go out for coffee, just the two of us" He blurted out and you went still "only if you are comfortable" he added. You felt like you were at a loss of words. Was Yunho 'Asking you out?' you stopped thinking and just nodded your head.
"Wait a moment I'll get my things" He said and you looked down to avoid contact, cause if you'd look up, he'd see how blushed your face was.
You both walked out, both of you wore masks and he wore a bucket hat to add on. Though at first it was awkward, but then as you both kept talking the awkwardness was blown away. You both laughed and talked about different topics, on your way to a cafe that the 9 of you visited often. Its inside an alley and hence not very known or popular. But, the food and the owner were very good and hence you guys became a regular.
"I'm glad you chose to come here" You said as the old lady served you both your beverages.
"Of Course, imagine getting a coffee alone in the cafeteria" Yunho said and laughed.
"Oh God! The staff cannot take that I am close to you guys, as it is" You said.
"Hey! You're like one of the only young staffs. And our only Atiny staff, of course we'd befriend you anyhow" he said. And you couldn't help but grin.
"I need to ask you something" Yunho said suddenly looking into your eyes. His cheeks seemed red, 'was he blushing?' but your train of thoughts were blasted as soon as he launched the question.
"How do you think of us, as in you and me. Non-platonically?" He asked
You felt like the air was knocked out of your lungs. You completely freaked out what to reply "ah.. um" you muttered.
"I haven't ever thought about it, um.. but Well we would match well" and you stopped.
"I'm sensing a but?" Yunho interjected.
"but you're you. And I am me." You said and shrugged.
He looked visibly confused, eye brows knitted "What's that supposed to mean?"
"You know. You're an Idol, I am a normal human" you said.
"Why? Does being an Idol make us any less humane?"
"More like a super human" you said cocking an eye brow "We are two worlds. And what if the company doesn't allow and people get to know and"
"Y/n Y/n! Wait. Breath in" he said grabbing both of you hands in his. For some reason that seemed to really calm you. Yes, you've had the hugest crush on Yunho even before you knew him. Watching him from afar with the staff and members warmed your heart, and it increased when you started directly interacting with the boys. But the day you both "performed for the first time" was the day you realised, 'You like him' but never expected any reciprocation, for obvious reasons. This all felt like a dream but its not good for one to dwell in dreams.
"What are you afraid of? Do you like someone else?" He asked. You just shook your head a no.
"Then what are you afraid of? Look at me. Stop looking at your empty cup as if there's a BTS concert going on in it" at that you giggled and looked at him.
Damn, how much you adored those puppy eyes. And how they were looking at you dripping of adoration. "I am insecure okay? Your world is so shiny and full of glamour. I don't fit there Yunho"
"You fit in with my members? Who are also my bestfriends and I guess yours too. Right?" He said in a soft voice and you nodded.
"Don't you think just because we have a different profession it's a bit harsh for you to think we won't fit? And we just need to fit in with each other." He said and realisation hit you. He was right, who cares what the world thinks.
"You're right but, what if you realise that I'm not good enough and-" he again stopped you
"Y/n! First of all, I'd be an idiotic bastard to think that. Second of all, we could just take it slow at your pace. And third of all, even you could find someone better than me. So let all the ifs and buts go and lets go slow, one day at a time okay?" He said.
"Baby steps" you said while nodding and smiled.
"I like you." He finally said.
You just snatched your hands away and hid your face, more like your cheeks, "I like you too" you blurted out. He smiled and removed your hands.
"Let me enjoy your blushed view, okay" he said making you go even more red.
You both parted ways from the cafe, Yunho went his way first and you entered after a good 15 to 20 minutes. You tried your best to not burst out into smiles randomly.
----------------------------------------------------
A week had already passed and things were going well, the members had known and were very happy for you both. You were working when suddenly a notification grabbed your attention.
Golden Puppy 🐶 sent you a message:
Hey. I wanna take you home. Would you wait after shift?
> Sure? When do you get off?
Just 2 hours. You could go down to Studio 3 and wait. Okay?
> Okay 😊
I'll come find you.
You stopped a squeal that was about to leave your throat. You had always imagined this, and this is reality. You just hope that if its a dream, it never ends.
You were done comparatively early, that day so you waited for the other staff to disperse, saying that you had something left. As soon as you saw the coast clear you slowly went towards where the Studios are.
1....2....3.
You hovered a bit before, pushing the door open and peeked in.
"Hey! Y/n! Come in!" You heard San say.
You entered to find, WooSanHwa, inside.
"Hey! WooSanHwa!" You said. Only to hear three if them cringe. You dropped your bag with theirs and dropped to the ground with them.
"Okay so tell me Y/n Cry for me or The Feels choose one?" San asked. This wasn't the first time they asked a question like this, their arguments and you being the argument breaker was a common thing.
"Um.. well both the songs have a different charm, but If it were up to me then I'd choose The feels" you said.
"Yes!" Seonghwa cheered and Woosan groaned.
"Get up! Lets dance?" Hwa stood up to say.
"Whaaaaat?" You asked.
"You danced with Yunho amd even Woo! I deserve, no wait! I demand for my privilege too!”
You stayed silent and thought, whats the odds, they've seen you suck anyways.
"Okay" you said smiling.
"Yay" Seonghwa stood up.
And step by step Seonghwa kept showing you and explaining every step to you. And you kept following him, you couldn't lie Seonghwa really made the steps easier or may be because you knew and saw the choreo many times it's coming better to you. With San and Wooyoung busy playing some battle royal at a corner, time flowed and you didn't even realise it was over 2 hours.
Yunho walked to the Studio to hear music playing, he was more shocked when he saw you hit off the steps to the song with such ease. He wouldn't lie if he said that didn't turn him on a bit on, damn it was hot.
He entered and as soon as your eyes met you winked, he felt his whole body freeze and blood rush to his cheeks. Soon the part of dance ended and you and Seonghwa took a seat.
Yunho was about to rush in for a hug but was pushed away by Wooyoung who bet him to it. And you laughed hard.
"Hey! I'm her boyfriend!" Yunho complained.
"But I'm her bias!” Wooyoung said. "Bias privileges~" he sang and stuck out a tongue. As soon as he left you Yunho grabbed your hand and pulled you to a tight hug.
"Lets go" he murmured and picked up yours and his bag.
He held your hand and as you were about to go towards the exit he pulled you to the parking lot.
"What are we doing here?" You asked
"Why you wanna walk all the way to your apartment?" He asked and unlocked a car.
"Thats Manager nim's car!" You exclaimed
"And? I'm borowing it" he said.
"You asked right?" You made sure
"Babe this is not a drama! Of course I asked" he said.
"Good. What did you tell him?" You asked.
"What do you mean? What did I tell him? I told him that I wanna drop you home" he said shrugging.
"WHAT?! WHAT HAPPENED TO NOT TELLING ANYONE?!" you ask almost shouting.
"You told him! And that is why today morning he was giving me that smile! Oh god!" You spoke again face palming.
"it's okay! It's important for him to know okay?" He said assuring you. The rest of the drive went on discussing various things that happened to the both of you along the day. As he pulled pulled near your building.
"Thank you for dropping me" you said exiting the car.
"Wait!" He called out and left the car as well. You saw him open his arms. You couldn't help but coo at his cuteness and run to his arms
His smell intoxicated you and his warmth wanted to make you stay forever.
"Y/n?" He mumbled still holding up. And you looked up.
"You looked so hot dancing today" he commented looking down at you. You blushed under his sight, and Yunho felt blissful. And suddenly, he bent down and pecked you lips and smirked.
"Sorry I had to I-" he started but you stopped him by pulling him down by his collar for another kiss. His hands wrapped around your waist as he smiled into the kiss and pulled you closer. It felt as if his lips melted against yours, that felt like home. Both of your mouths moved against each other in such sync and you laced your arms behind his neck. And you both finally parted because, oxygen.
"Good Night Yu" you said with a slight blush on your cheeks and rushed inside. Once the elevator door was closed. You looked at your reflection and touched your lips. Man! Was that real? Is he even real?! You thought
Meanwhile, Yunho stood there for a good 1 minute, dazed, then he smiled to himself and got in the car and drove away.

Teenage Dream Pt. 2 (Interactive story)
Man! I think this one is the most amazing thing I'd ever written! I'll request from all of you guys special attention at the end of this chapter. I'll let you a message, and I'm pretty sure you will love it!
Derek took you to his loft. While you are alone, you start to understand the environment you were now part of. Word count: 2.056 Pairings: Different Dimension!Reader x Derek; Different Dimension!Reader x Platonic!Laura; Different Dimension!Reader x Platonic!Cora; Different Dimension!Reader x Platonic!Talia Contain: It’s pretty fun; AU Warnings: English is not my main language <3 PART 1 ALTERNATIVE VERSION TEEN WOLF MASTERLIST
You finally entered Derek's loft. Oh, man... It was just like in the tv show!
You enter the loft just like if you had entered paradise. With your mouth opened in pure fascination, you swirl around your feet while looking around. Derek came just behind you with arch eyebrows. It would be funny if it doesn't be scary.
"Oh. My. Godness. Is it here that all the pack meetings are made?"
Derek didn't reply to you. Instead of it, he just stares at you. He gives a few steps forward, getting closer to you.
"What's your name?"
You swallowed hard. Derek was with his usual cold expression, arms crossed in front of his chest, and no patience for bullshit.
"(Y/N) (Y/L/N)."
"Good. Look (Y/N) (Y/L/N), you will stay right here. You will not get out, you will not call anyone, or speak with anyone. If you run away from here, I'll kill you faster than you could say to me what happens at season one. Did I made things clear to you?" Shrunken in fear, you just nod, and Derek narrows his eyes to you. "Okay. I need to see someone that you probably know, so-"
"Braeden? Jennifer? Deaton?"
Derek sounds confused to hear the first two names. So, you simply thought that he didn't meet them yet.
"Not of your business."
He gives his back to you, walking out of his loft and closing the door, locking you there. And, wow, you have Derek's loft all for you! Oh man, it just like on the fanfics!
Well, you were curious and excited as hell. Your first thought was something pretty plausible: You used to watch Teen Wolf when you were a teenager. So, being inside the series was just like time-traveling. Smartphones aren't a thing yet, and Dua Lipa music still unknown. As a way to test this theory, you walk in the radio's direction and turn it on. The music that started to fill the room was Friday by Rebecca Black. Yeah, you remind that song, and you instantly felt nostalgic. But it could be just random music on the radio, right?
You switched the radio station, and then Party Rock Anthem By LMFAO starts to play. Well, another song of 2011... But you aren't so sure yet, so you switch the radio station one last time. You almost fell on your back when Domino by Jessie J fills the room. You took a confirmation that yeah, you were back in the 2011's. You are probably during the events of season one.
Well, Scott has just been bit by Peter, Derek just came back from town, and... You are now in the middle of all of that.
"Oh, man!"
You can't do anything for a while. So, all you could do is wait for Derek and whatever he was doing now. You look around while Jessie J sings on the radio, giving you a few nostalgic feelings. Well, you would take a relaxing bath. There's just one problem: All the clothes you have is the one you're wearing now. Without giving a damn, you walk to Derek's wardrobe direction.
"I'm sorry sour wolf, but I'll borrow a few clothes of yours." You open it and take a black shirt. Man, you felt thrilled! "Jeez, this is so like the fanfics!"
You go to the bathroom's direction, taking off your kitten pajama, and putting yourself under the hot water of the shower. Man, Rude Boy by Rihanna starts to play on the radio. You couldn't contain a laugh. It was funny because you were taking a shower and would wear clothes from a legit rude boy.
And, well, you started to sing. It was everything really nice for a few minutes: You were wearing Derek's shirt, listening to a few old pieces of music, and, now, you were in his kitchen making a sandwich.
When you sat on Derek's bed, with your wet hair and your sandwich, Starstrukk by 3OH!3 and Katy Perry started to play. Yeah, that time alone was being nice! You move your body in the music's rhythm while bites your sandwich, still sat on the mattress. You should enjoy that peace while it lasts!
The sandwich was cool, the music either... But you realized that, now, you had a golden chance that every fan would die to have: You are alone in Derek's flat. What kind of things he hides there?
After finishing your sandwich, you look around. You stand up from the mattress and walk around the loft. Getting upstairs, you could find some supernatural books, some weird things that you thought could be some magic stuff, and his laptop. Oh, man! What else hides in his internet searches?
You hold yourself, trying to decide if you should snoop his history on the internet or if you should see what he hides on his bedside table drawer.
When you go downstairs, Animal by Neon Trees fills your ears. You run to Derek's bedside table and opens his drawer. You found his cell phone charger, as well as the laptop one, a coin with a triskelion and... tons of condoms.
Your eyes got widen. This is definitely the kind of thing the TV show hasn't expose.
Also, you noticed Derek's loft needed some... cleaning.
Bored as never before, you walked to the kitchen searching for some cleaning stuff. You found some on a cabinet: A mop and a few other products. Oh, perfect! You took them and, soon, you were sliding the mop through the flat while sings Animal. The flat smells like lavender now, and the floor is so clean that you are proud.
You heard Magic by Rivers Cuomo and B.o.B on the radio, and you sing with the music reminding the parties at your friend's house after school. Suddenly, the door finally opens, and you heard Derek's voice.
"...She's not lying, and I need to know if you already saw something like that before."
You froze with the mop on your hand when you saw Derek. He froze as well. It was understandable: A complete stranger is cleaning his flat and wearing his clothes.
"...Oh, hi! I've borrowed your shirt."
Then, a female voice came behind him.
"There are tons of things that could cause this kind of thing. We need to investigate."
Talia Hale came after his son, as well as Laura and Cora. They also froze with the scene of you wearing Derek's clothes and cleaning his loft. You? Well, your eyes almost had pulled out of your face when you saw them. Talia inhales the air to her lungs, clearly smelling the air.
"Are this... Lavender?"
"Yeah, it is." Laura replied her mom, looking at Derek after that "I think lavender suits you. It's perfect for your flat. It is really your thing, Derek."
You were so confused! What are they doing there? Your chin fell, letting your mouth opened in pure disbelief. Derek rolled his eyes at Laura before look at you again.
"...She'll freak out."
"Oh. My. Gosh. Oh my gosh!!" The mop fell on the floor, and you ran through Talia, Cora, and Laura's direction. "What the hell are you doing here?!"
The Hale women look at each other, and Cora looks at you.
"Well, mom came here to help Derek with, uh, you. And I guess you already know us."
"You shouldn't be here!" You stare at Cora "You should be in South America! And both of you" You stare at Talia and Laura "I can't even talk about you two! Jeez!"
You put your hands on your head, with your mind blowing while the Hale family enters into the loft. Derek turns off the radio before staring at you again.
"I thought you were used to seeing me with them."
You stare at him, with your eyes widen. Your mind was full of theories already.
"Derek, you are definitely not understanding what is happening here. Your family shouldn't be here."
He arches his eyebrows, noticing there's something pretty wrong here.
"What do you mean?"
"Look" You approach them, looking at everyone "I'll do just one question: Did your house was burned some years ago?"
They look at each other, with the engines on their head trying to work. Talia stares at you.
"Yeah, but we had fortunately escaped."
"How about your brother?"
"Peter was the only one that hasn't managed to."
Oh, man... That means one thing. Scared as hell, you sat on the mattress. Derek started to feel anxious and approaches you.
"What's happening?"
You breathe in, staring at the family.
"It shouldn't happen. At the TV show, Talia dies at the fire. Cora ran to South America, Peter got burnt and goes to a clinic, Laura turns herself into alpha, and she stays with Derek. It means that I'm not on the TV Show. I'm inside a fanfic."
Oh, man... It means, basically, that you even haven't so sure about what will happens next. If you were inside the TV Show, you could predict the future. You couldn't do it if you were inside a fanfic.
While you were in complete shock, Talia looks at her family.
"Well... I'll search the most plausible theory of (Y/N)'s arrival. I think we can start looking for some witches near. It can be some work from a coven."
While the Hale family talks about you, you still sat on the mattress, thinking about what the heck was going on. Well, what kind of fanfic did you got into? Was It an insert-reader one, or was It just a common one? Are you the protagonist?
You would test your theory, and you would do it right now.
Knowing the opportunity was just right there, you ran through the flat's door. However, Derek notices your escaping.
"She's running away!"
A mess quickly takes form inside Derek's loft: His announcement made all the Hale run after you, trying to avoid your escaping. They don't know anything about you yet. It could be dangerous to have you simply walking around Beacon Hills.
Fast, you ran through the building until you go outside. A storm quickly takes form, and heavy rain starts to fell from the skies. To everyone's surprise, you stopped in the middle of the asphalt, looking at the sky.
"Hey!" You yelled to something up there "I want a sign! Hey, writer! Readers! Anyone! Am I inside of a fanfic? Answer me! Send me a clue, anything!"
A thunder lightens the skies, and you fell on your knees with a lack of a clue that could help you to find out what was going on. Then, you felt a hand grab your arm.
"Enough, weirdo." Laura said, holding you while the Hale family surrounds you to keep you from running away "You'll stay inside the loft."
With all the last hopes of yours, you look up from the skies. The rainwater runs through your body while you wait. You just want a sign! A clue!
Then, you thought you had seen something. Laura pushes you, making you stand up from the asphalt. And when she was started to drag you to the loft again, you saw something falling from the sky. Derek saw it too.
"Laura, wait."
Everyone looks up, noticing what the heck was that: It was a post-it paper falling from the skies in your direction. When it came close enough, you took it.
Man... When you read it, your face became pale as a candle, and you simply pass out on Laura's arms. Caught by surprise, Laura holds you while everyone runs in your direction. Cora took the post-it paper from your hand and, when she read it, she stares at her family completely incredulous.
"What?" Derek looks at her, in urgency to know what was that. Cora swallowed hard, starting to read the post-it paper out loud.
"Here says: Author's note: Yeah, you are inside a fanfic. Author's note two: Your story has just started, girl."
Yeah, for sure, the Hale family stares at each other in complete shock. Of course, they weren't expecting that your call for a sign would be replied to. Especially by me, the author of your story! Ha! And honestly? I'll think carefully if I'll help you during your journey inside your favorite TV Show, because, honestly? I'll not let things easy for you.
FINAL AUTHOR'S NOTE Here's the thing about this series: I'm the author mentioned at the end of this chapter, y'all are the readers mentioned in the story AND the (Y/N) of this story. Consider that the (Y/N) is the "you" from a different dimension, okay? Why should you consider this: Because you all can communicate themselves with the (Y/N) of that story! At every ending of the chapter, I'll request you to send me something to help the (Y/N) inside the story. You will send it through my ask, right here. Well, the (Y/N) has requested to the readers sent her a sign that she is really inside of a fanfic. Send me your clue for (Y/N) through my ask, and I'll put it on the next chapter to makes her freaking out.
I'll be waiting for y'all!
