Today, Stanley found Narrator. He looked the same, though his eyes were closed and he was limp, his glasses askew. Stanley's hand hovered over the button... bleep. Stanley held his breath as Narrator's eyes flickered open, bleary and confused. "What on earth- oof!" Stanley had basically thrown himself at Narrator, wrapping his arms around Narrator. "Stanley, really? I just woke up, give me a momen-" [Narry, it's you? Really, you??] "Stanley, who else would it be? Honestly, you have no common scen- mmph?!" He kissed Narrator, hands on his face, eyes closed. Stanley didn't care. This was his Narrator, the real one, not some decoy in a fake world to try and distract Stanley. Not some game dev posing as his wife. Not a bug, or a virus or anything. This was Narrator. His Narrator.

Curtor blinked. The room she was in was bright, but it wasn't the museum. Odd... last she recalled was- "Curie!" Mariella rushed over, staring up at her, "Curie, that's you, right?" Curator blinked again, furrowing her brow, "I... think so. I'm not sure how one would tell if they were someone else, so- oh." Mariella hugged her. "How odd. Human affection. I've only ever seen human affection exchanged between The Narrator and Stanley... odd. Rather nice." Mariella grinned at her, "Well, they are in love." "And we are...?" "We could be." "I would hazard a guess and say we are." "Neat."

"Log. The others are... ok. Stanley and Narrator are together, Stanley has the bucket, curator and Mariella have the line... and they somehow have the fern? I don't know... I'm worried. It's a drastic choice they are making. We don't know if they will even survive outwith the parable and... It scares me. They are preparing now... apparently the game has crashed and shut down, but we are all still working? I don't get it. I don't really get anything anymore, not since I found out I was a... a NPC. just... that. Not some kind of... person. I just don't know what to do anymore... and... TKs missing. We can't find them. I don't know where they are, I just know they aren't gone. They... their probably just hiding... just... pulling my leg... fuck I hope so. Log end."

Certainly!

WAYYY back before Stanley, The Narrator aka Wesley created Jim, as well as Tape guy (who I've yet to fully design) In the role Stanley would be in. The first vessels in Wesley's parable, they did whatever the Narrator pushed the story towards. (I have this fun idea of Wes pretending the be the boss in the office hehe) But eventually Wesley grew annoyed, tired of his creations, especially ones that could talk. So like an abandoned goldfish, Wesley simply left them, for who knows how long (partial skip button influence). and you tend to go a tad crazy when that happens, eventually, Jim goes missing all together. falling outside the map and out of bounds, their file--and appearance corrupting into the worm boy we all know and love.

Now they live to avenge themself, by any means necessary, even if it means harming their coworkers after they were erased from the parable as a whole, or exploiting Stanley to keep the games coming. They meddle with the parable when Wesley isn't looking, holding it's seams together, and is there when a post-skip button Stanley goes Self aware. Who knows what they've been capable of, but for now they lurk undetected, hiding as a simple computer worm, they have an ego the size of them, and don't care for anyone.

I didn't want to mke what Wesley did un-forgiveable, I have a habit of doing sympathetic characters do unexcusable things, so my idea was Wesley was bad, but TK is worse. But of course everyone is absolutely in love with them, which I don't mind, and they definitely don't. Their design was partially inspired by Cym-K's second iteration of the Timekeeper (I miss them dearly I hope they're well.) and computer viruses.

I can't tell whether to be proud of or disappointed in this, BUT, here's a Tape piece.

If you guys didn't know, ASDIBAU ("ASDIB" will be referred to the in-universe cartoon, ala-70's to 80's, and the one with "AU" refers to this universe) is an RCP AU where a few details are present:

All of Broomstown besides the Rescue Team (specifically the RTs' counterparts) are part of a cartoon show with some sort of plot beats like Mr. Roger's Neighborhood or smth, but is overall a mix of Amanda the Adventurer (missing people and someone in the shows' tapes; also involves the outside world), The Stanley Parable (Narrator shenanigans in ASDIB and things being derailed when the wrong actions are taken), and a bit of TADC (forgetting names and trapping thingy) and likely Welcome Home? But mostly ATA and TSP. Might add Andy's Apple Farm elements but ehh—

If this ever becomes a fic, it will be ASDIBAU!Helly's POV, aka Harley Robinson. Follow him as he tries to get his uncle (Mr. Robinson) out of the tapes the former shouldn't had tried opening, resulting in the ASDIB's Narrator finding someone fit to play the role of the host, "Poli". However, everybody plays by improv to finish the ending of the last episode and it "()never goes right!()"

However, newspapers detailing cases of incidents about ASDIB's production's working conditions, Narrator's treatment towards Mr. Robinson—now having to take on the alias of the role he was forced in—once you view it under his controlling attitude, the unusual codes around the attic and the ones flashing on the antique TVs, the details behind Harley's blocked memories of his parents' deaths, and what his mother's last words are.

“Before the parable? Well I’m not entirely sure, I don’t remember if there even was a before the parable. But- my lore is… rather unsettling to think about. A lot of stuff has happened to me, before and after I became Timekeeper; it was torture. But, I… suppose being Timekeeper is better than when I was 432. Maybe. I have a lot more problems with my physical form, but I have a lot more freedom to do what I want than before.”

(AWW TYSM. The silly guy gets a lot of compliments and I really appreciate that so many awesome people like his design. For his lore- I have a couple paragraphs here for it. So prepare for this massive info dump.)

So, I headcanon that The Narrator created TK/432. So The Narrator is the reason 432 had to suffer so much. And when he turned into Timekeeper, his code was practically getting jumbled up and torn apart; which made him a glitchy painful mess. He also noticed his new form, almost everything was different; and he noticed he didn’t have a mouth anymore. So whenever they were in pain, they couldn’t scream, they just had to suffer in silence where nobody could hear them. But as time goes on, he finds himself becoming more stable. So he only glitches when he’s overwhelmed, upset, furious, just any kind of powerful emotion.

They then find the tape room, where they make their new office. They tried making their own masks so he could talk, but a lot of them were unsuccessful, until he made the one he has now that’s fully functioning (except he doesn’t have an actual mouth and can’t eat or taste anything). He’s also trapped in the tape room now so he can’t really get out.

I’m not entirely finished with this part of his lore, but the screen on his face somehow cracked, and he started bleeding out. It was also so bad that static had started to form on his face with his injury.

Also, static is horrible. If you lightly touch it, it will sting you for a bit then wear off. But, if you keep your hand on it or whatever kind of material, it will start to spread through you and burn you then it will start to deteriorate you as well. Static also makes the object/person glitchy when it spreads, and if you start screaming while static is spreading through you, your voice will turn distorted and glitchy. I think it’s a really cool concept.

Anyway, he was in severe pain, and that’s why he said ‘help’ to the player, and also ‘will you come back to visit me?’.

So, he seems tough when he talks to the player, but that poor man has been through so much that when you get to know him, he’s very emotional.

That’s pretty much all the headcanon lore I have for him so far, but I have some regular headcanons for ya. :)

Timekeeper absolutely loves his hair. He will brag about it wherever he seems it’s appropriate.

He also hates pencils with a burning passion, and he’s also just afraid of them because he feels like they keep mocking him of when he was 432 and he felt useless. So he will actually have a breakdown and start crying.

Timekeeper hasn’t seen Stanley in person, and he’d do anything to see him.

Tk uses a feather to write instead of a pen or pencil (for obvious reasons).

Timekeeper is a really touch-starved and affectionate person. So whenever he receives affection, he cherishes it and he will keep thinking about it for awhile.

Timekeeper hates The Narrator so much that he would actually try to kill him if he could.

Also, TK’s screen was the only way to contact Stanley. So unless he finds a way to get to Stanley, there isn’t any way for him to communicate with him.

the tsp fandom being...What It Is, fluff content is usually reserved for stanley and the narrator so i think fics centering around employee 104 would mostly trend toward angst...which, you know, their backstory is effectively "they were fired for being kind to the office pariah because it was interfering with management's horrific experiment and due to the nature of the office it trapped them in a fucked up quantum state until the narrator deleting everyone else dropped them in the parable but stanley can't perceive them for some reason and if the narrator can he doesn't acknowledge them". not an unreasonable trend imo.

💘: Why would people love your ship? Why would people dislike your ship? How might it start debates?

bold of you to assume 104/432 wouldn't basically be a crackship or "well they seem to have been friends according to this texture i datamined of 104's pink slip so sure we can ship them" for most of the fandom with three or four fans who are absolutely INSANE over it because of "omg 104 was so determined to be kind to 432 that they overcame the mind control to do it and didn't care that they got fired for it!!" like i don't think anyone would care enough to hate it because the only people who actually expend mental energy thinking about it are the ones who REALLY like it. basically the same treatment 432 gets as a character lmao

📝: How would your story in canon go? How would you influence the events of the original story?

i think realistically in game they'd exist mostly as an employee number mentioned in random documents. maybe they'd make an appearance in one (1) ending the way mariella or the curator or the tape guy does. im not bothered by the notion thats just how tsp is.

Today, Stanley woke up to find the Narrator glitching. His face was blurred and laggy, and he kept repeating things over and over—creepily, it was "End this." Over and over. Stanley reached out to the hazy patch, and as soon as his fingers brushed the skin, the world broke. Everything lagged, whirring could be heard, and the narrator disintegrated. Stanley yelped, staggering back, staring around this new broken world. A man stared at him, a man he thankfully knew. Tim. He stared at Stanley wide-eyed, then let out a shaky breath. "Stan... its really you."
