Ghosting 2ª parte
Hola!

had a fucking hilarious dream that tumblr replaced the "block" function with the far funnier "glock" function, which did the exact same thing except whenever anyone blocked you a random bullet hole, like a png of a bullet hole, would appear on your blog. discourse blogs were unreadable bc you'd go to the page and the sheer amount of bullet hole pngs stacked over the blogs obscured everything. I woke myself up laughing
#normally I don't chronicle my dreams here but fucking hell that one was funny#I think this would genuinely make tumblr better tbh#@ staff do this cowards#spy has thoughts#my life is a sitcom and i am my own laugh track#functional website#spy's smash hits#Glock function#edit for everyone in the notes saying 'everyone clapped'#I know I can't prove to you that it happened for real you're just gonna have to trust me on this#but I swear on my goddamn life I'm not making this up#I make so many conscious puns that sometimes my subconscious cooks up a real good one

Gotta love how in the Son of Sobek, it takes all of 5 seconds for Percy and Carter to start attacking each other, meanwhile in the Staff of Seraphis, Annabeth and Sadie instantly hit it off, coordinate their plan of attack spectacularly to defeat a literal god, and exchange phone numbers.

Character design for my vtm game is so hilarious because I do have a very diverse cast of SPCs but I will also freely admit that all kinds of beautiful breathtaking women make up roughly 60% of it
#to quote my dear roommate from back when I only had five characters and they were all women:#‘you need to make some men’#and I did! I did.#but I also just made another gorgeous Lasombra woman. at this rate the prince’s entire staff is going to be ladies#but!#he himself is a man! and he’s not even a diversity hire#vampire the masquerade#vampire: the masquerade#vtm#v:tm#chronicle: blood feud

Staff Pick of the Week
The Hundred Year’s War is a slight misnomer; it was actually a series of multiple wars occurring between the years 1138 and 1450 with an occasional peace treaty in between periods of intense battles. Contemporary accounts of the events happening during these years are essential for historians to gain a better understanding of the time period, even if they are exaggerated or clearly biased recordings of the events at hand. One of the many historical accounts from this time is that of Frenchman Sir John Froissart. While not born into nobility, Froissart spent much time surrounded by nobles as he chronicled the happenings of the first half of the War, and his Chronicles are a vital resource for historians about that time. He also wrote a variety of poetry and even an Arthurian Romance, along with his historical accounts.
Today’s Staff Pick of the Week is an edited version of the English translation of The Chronicles of Froissart by John Bourchier, Lord Berners (1467-1533), edited by the English classical scholar G. C. Macaulay (1852-1915). John Bourchier was an English translator, as well as a soldier and statesman. His translation of the book was said to have made a significant advancement in English historical accounts and made the book accessible to a much wider audience than simply those educated to read and understand French.
The edition shown here is the 1959 Limited Editions Club (LEC) production of Froissart's Chronicles, printed by Peter Beilenson (1905-1962) of the Peter Pauper Press, with illustrations by American artist Henry C. Pitz (1895-1976), in an edition of 1500 copies signed by the illustrator. Pitz's marginalia illustrations appear to emulate those of medieval illuminated manuscripts. There are a wide variety of people depicted in clothing of the time of the Hundred Year’s War, as well as shields, weapons, animals, and buildings which are most likely meant to add a visual link to the time in which this account was originally recorded and published. Besides these marginalia, there are 16 full page-spread illustrations reproduced from Pitz's line-and-wash paintings, hand-colored through stencils at the Walter Fischer Studio.

it would be really cool to have another chronicles-esque series
#bwark#obviously i want the staffing issues and working conditions at olm to be better first#or just get another studio to do it#i think things might have improved? given that horizons has ran pretty smoothly so far? i hope so at least#not even taking the point of this post into consideration for that i just want the conditions at olm to be good#but back to chronicles. im not the type of guy who demands that ash be brought back#and reaches excessively to try and find hints that he will return#some ash fans can be really annoying about this esp the ones who criticize everything horizons does without even having seen it#like im completely fine with having a new cast and i don't need to bring him up every 5 minutes when discussing horizons#but with that being said i do miss the kid. baby's first blorbo#and i think a chronicles-esque series would be a good way to bring him back without tying him down#like they're not restricted to a series-long story and can just focus it on an episode by episode basis#and ik that's kinda what they tried to do with atbapm but that series was also about ending ash's time as the protagonist#meanwhile this wouldn't have any restrictions at all#hell even focusing on ash's old friends the same way the original chronicles did would still be cool even if ash isn't involved#idk im just spitballing here#the staff have said they're not opposed to bringing him back if a good reason calls for it#also i don't want it to be au ash. nothing against him but the au verse means nothing to me

The statue was of a woman in flowing robes. Her marble face bore an expression of radiant hope, tempered with sadness. A strange amulet hung around her neck.
The marble woman's hands were curved, as if they had been holding a long slender pole, but the hands were empty.

The Wayhaven Chronicles was never really like “good” it’s more of a… cute lil game where I want to rewrite 100% of it out of spite or just because like the POTENTIAL is there to be really interesting but it needs a lot of substantive editing and narrative structure work to be Actually Good
@ Mishka im available for hire as an editor btw I have a degree and everything 😉
#the wayhaven chronicles#twc#book 3 is a mess but let’s be honest#it’s been a bit of a mess since book 1#where are my high stakes missions where is the life threatening drama#why does the agency know when kidnappings are happening#but not that one of their staff got abducted fjdkd#why does mishka keep dangling these interesting villains in my face#and then like. never doing anything with them

Another XC3 Alrest headcanon to go with my AU
I personally believe that back in Alrest, Sena is just an entirely random blade, who was accidentally awakened by Miyabi, who was already friends with Mio and Glimmer at the time
Sena quickly joined in on the friend group, who obviously don’t often have to fight, but when they do, Miyabi takes advantage of the fact that Sena’s hammer can be disassembled into a handle and a bomb, to wield the handle as a staff, either casting fire tornados or just hitting her foe with it like a baseball bat
“that’s not how your supposed to use that”-Sena
“Hammer heabvy”- Miyabi
