Process gif for the fishspine reef piece.
This one was a challenge. Not only did it take me over 30 hours, I struggled a lot with both the undertide design and the overall color palette of the piece not being cohesive. The first image in the gif is a sketch that I randomly started while I had nothing to do at work back in october 2023, which is way more dull and was originally going to feature my dragon Ells. Rest of my comments on the gif under the cut
Right off the bat I immediately commit to a purple and green color palette, which I then just as quickly break with the yellow plants and brown kelp. Adding these colors came from my reference photos but compositionally was a mistake. The entire image uses cool colors so these warm colors draw your eye too much. (will come back to this later).
The next thing you'll notice for a while is me trying out different undertide designs and placements. The first one covered up too much of the skeleton, the second one was too big and made the skeleton feel small and I didn't like the flying fish inspired fins. The 3rd sketch really didn't go anywhere and finally the 4th sketch helped me figure out the composition I wanted.
I had the composition but was still struggling with the color palette, because the grey-brown-green undertide I had chosen to draw for this piece melted into the grey-green background and pulled significantly less focus than the bright white bones. So I switched out dragons, instead picking a primarily purple undertide of mine so that the purple and green would contrast and help the silhouette not get lost in the background.
Now that I know where the undertide is I go ahead and add a bunch of coral details. I choose to continue the seaweed from the right side under the undertides head in hopes that it would push the green/purple contrast I needed to make sure her head doesn't get lost (I also increased the size of her head because it was too small).
After adding the coral to the left side of the image you'll notice a massive color shift happen. This is where I fix the issue I brought up right at the start where the browns and yellows were distracting. I turned the kelp green, toned down the saturation on the plants and upped the saturation on the blue band of coral between the green and purple areas of the composition. This move really solidified the color palette of the image, something that hadn't been very cohesive before.
Then most of what is left is finishing adding details (fish, octopus, more coral, always more coral) and continuing to push areas of contrast. Instead of having the oversaturated purple glow from below I increased the darkness of the stone above so relatively speaking you still get the effect. I added a shadow under the undertide as well as darkened the background over there so that she would pop just a bit more.
And that's the end! for now. I honestly might go and continue adding more fish and little details so I can then print it out for myself.

Basic Adjustment Layers For Dummies <3
— as written by a dummy.
welcome to photopea for dummies, eos’ series on the website we all know and… “love”… photopea! if you don’t know what photopea is, it’s a free alternative to photoshop that can be used in your browser!
in any case, today we’re going to be discussing the average editor’s lifeblood: adjustment layers.
we’re not going to discuss all of the adjustment layers, as there’s about seventeen and some are much more complicated than others. for the sake of time, i’ll just be talking about some of the basic adjustment layers.
brightness/contrast
brightness/contrast is the first of the adjustment layers found in the drop-down menu (layers > new adjustment layer > brightness/contrast) and is fairly easy to use and understand.
as the name implies, brightness/contrast gives you two sliders—one that controls brightness, one for contrast. the contrast slider goes from -100 (low contrast) to 100 (high contrast.) the brightness slider goes from -150 (low brightness) to 150 (high brightness.)
this layer may seem fairly rudimentary, but makes a good foundation for all edits and can help set the tone of your entire psd.
— author’s note: if you need a quick way to make an image very bright, make a brightness/contrast layer and, without touching the sliders, set the blending mode to screen. then adjust the opacity as needed. it works well for a quick lighting fix, when you need one.
vibrance
vibrance is the fifth layer down in the drop-down menu, and marks the beginning of the category i like to call the color adjusters. i have no idea what the actual name is, so don’t ask.
similar to brightness/contrast, vibrance has two sliders: vibrance and saturation. vibrance is a lighter version of saturation—while saturation affects all the pixels of an image, vibrance tends to be much more targeted.
the vibrance and saturation sliders both range from -100 (least colorful) to 100 (most colorful.) it’s important to note that you should only knock saturation down to -100 if you want a grayscale image. i usually only push the saturation slider between the -30 to 30 range, but that’s just personal preference—mess around and see what works for you.
— author’s note: a fun trick to use is to mimic what i did in the image above: set the vibrance very high and the saturation in the negatives. it gives the image a nice pop.
photo filter
one of my personal favorites, photo filter is the eighth layer down in the drop-down menu. photo filter is a good way to collect your colors when they’ve splattered all over the place.
photo filter is a bit different than the layers we’ve looked at so far—it only has one slider, the intensity slider, which goes from 0 to 100, and has a small square above this slider. the square is where you select your color—click it and mess with the slider, or type in a memorized hex code if you’re some kind of color wizard.
most people have a general color palette in mind when making a psd, i’d like to think. photo filter helps to regulate these colors. if your psd is looking warmer than you’d like it to, a low level photo filter in #5b82a7 or #604db5 can help to cool it down. if your psd is looking too green, a low level photo filter in #af65c2 or #4a1a80 can do the trick. forgive me, but you’re going to want your color wheel for this layer. it’s easy to utilize, though!
— author’s note: a cool trick i like to use is to set photo filter’s density at 100 and get a pale grey like #eaeaea. it’s an easy way to desaturate your image without eating all of your colors. you can find this layer—or something very close to it—on virtually all of my psds.
threshold
ah, threshold. the best friend of every tumblr editor. threshold is fourteenth from the top in your drop-down menu, and is fairly simple to use. threshold has one slider, ranging from 1 to 255, and can be a little alarming if you don’t know what you’re looking at.
one of these days i’ll cover blending modes, but for now just know that when you’re trying to get a shadowy effect, it’s best to use darken, multiply, or darker color. threshold is an extreme contrast layer that breaks images into the whites and blacks. it’s commonly used to get a nice shadowy effect—you do this by setting it to multiply or darken.
the slider can be played with at your discretion; i typically have threshold as my first layer, and set it between 40-80, but it depends on the image.
— author’s note: i’ve also seen some people set threshold to soft light for real life images. i don’t typically work with these, and personally i don’t enjoy the look, but remember that nothing is set in stone—feel free to play with blending modes as much as you want!
and there you have it! some of the basic adjustment layers. i hope you have a greater understanding of photopea now, or at the very least a greater understand of my lack of ability to explain things. see you next time!
sincerely, eos

hi! just wanted to pop in for sleepover saturday to say that i really love your content and to share my current ongoing project! This jacket is pretty old so im needing to do more and more mending, but making it visible and fun like this is having an amazing effect on how i look at clothing in general.
i have plans to add some dirt and bug and plant themed patches and maybe paint a centipede going up one of the arms. i also want to do a 'heart on my sleeve' type patch and put my partners initials underneath it.
but yea thats my current project! im really happy with how its turning out and thought itd make a cool sleepover saturday thing. this blogs resources on mending clothes for beginners was really helpful!
Image descriptions
1. the right side of a worn green jacket, it has a bee patch sewn onto the pocket with a thread that changes colors from green to brown to yellow and some visible mending with bright green thread where the pocket connects to the jacket. there is also a mend on the bottom edge of the jacket with yellow thread. above the pocket is a patchwork patch that says 'mending is better than ending'
2. the inner part of the hood on the jacket, mended with some brown thread
3. a small mend using bright green thread in the arm of the jacket, though you cant tell its the arm other than that i have said so
4. the left side of the jacket, sewn onto the top is a trans flag made from blue, pink, and silver can tabs. they are sewn on with floss
5. the left side of the jacket, focusing on the lower part. there is a visible mend near the zipper above the pocket, made with green and yellow thread. there is also a mend where the lower part of the pocket connects to the jacket, in bright green thread. the jacket is visibly stained with some grey and red wood stain.

pining rivals cleo/pris. smiley face
Hmm. “I think I’m going to build my base elsewhere; I love my tower but I want to be somewhere near water. You know, being the Water Witch and all. There’s just a small pond here, and that won’t do.” Prismarina rambled to herself, observing her tower from the path outside. It was gorgeous, but it didn’t quite feel right to her.
“I’m not sure where to build though. Where would be a good spot? I should just follow my heart, I guess.” Pris glanced around, gazing at the other towers. It didn’t appear that any of the other witches were living in their towers either, which meant she might run into them if she tried to find a place to live. She didn’t really want to live near someone else, but perhaps it wouldn’t be too bad. Not if it was the right person.
Almost instantly after the words left her mouth, her quest was derailed by the sight of a grey witch hat. She moved closer, curious, catching a glimpse of pretty ginger hair. “I hear sounds! I see a witch hat; I see ginger hair! I should go talk to them; I’m a sociable person; I want friends!”
As she approached, she began to see the whole of the witch. She appeared to be a zombie—perhaps they were the Necromancy Witch?—and she had a lovely grey robe with a gold belt that matched her hat. Her eyes were a pretty green that reminded her of jade or some other precious gem.
“Hello, how are you doing?” The witch turned and spotted her, offering her a friendly if wary smile. She scanned Pris calculatingly, making her feel almost unsatisfactory.
“Hiiiiiiiii! I love your hat by the way! D’you like mine?” Pris burbled, smiling brightly. It was a stupid question—their hats looked exactly the same except for the color—but she’d run her mouth without thinking. She did that a lot, she’d found.
“Yes, it looks… very similar. I do appreciate a good hat,” The witch remarked, her mouth quirking into a smile. She looked almost amused with Pris, as if she was a new wand to play with—something new and interesting.
“I love the hair, love the outfit, it matches so well,” Pris added in a rush, trying to make her earlier comment seem less silly. She did love the witch’s outfit; the silvery color looked gorgeous against her green skin, and the gold made it pop that much more.
“Thank you, I made it myself. I see you’ve gone for the standard witch robe? Love a classic witch robe,” The witch commented, adding the last bit almost as a second thought. She didn’t seem to want to insult Pris’s robes, wanting to seem unjudgmental. It was more endearing than it probably should have been.
“Yes of course, it’s me. I love to be dramatic, and the swish this robe makes is perfect for that,” Pris explained, offering a dramatic twirl or the cloak for emphasis.
“What’s your power? I’m the Water Witch,” Pris added after a moment, curiosity spreading on her face. She was almost certain this was the Necromancy Witch she’d heard of, but she wasn’t quite sure—she didn’t want to assume, and the color scheme this witch had didn’t quite match the theme of death.
“My power? I’m a Time Witch; I’m a Time Witch, you see, I control time. Name’s Cleo.” The witch—Cleo—offered nonchalantly. Her smile widened, turning a bit more ominous and sharp. Pris hadn’t thought of Cleo as the Time Witch, but now she couldn’t think of anything else to fit her. She had that sense of inconceivable power and unmistakable confidence.
“Oh! My name’s Pris, Prismarina, that is! Y’know, time is such a weird concept,” Pris introduced herself, scrambling for a comment that made herself seem cool to this witch. She didn’t think she quite pulled it off, but at least the confidence in her tone made it sound at least somewhat striking.
“It must be, I suppose. And you only experience linear time, can you imagine what it’s like for me?” Cleo pointed out, accompanying the words with a condescending laugh. Pris didn’t consider the laugh, though, her brain already hurting trying to think of what that might be like.
“Oh, oh, how do you live?” Pris burst out, aghast.
“Very comfortably.” Cleo didn’t seem bothered by the question, if anything she seemed to find it entertaining. It made Prismarina feel small, the way Cleo looked at her as if she were nothing.
“Did you get your book and quill?” Pris asked suddenly, curious. This was one of the other witches, right? So she must have received the letter.
“You know, I haven’t yet. I’ve only just… Well.” A strange smile crossed Cleo’s face, as if she knew something she wasn’t telling Pris. Pris didn’t dwell on it for long—clearly she knew more, because she had read the book.
“You should, you should! You really should,” Pris encouraged her, excited to have met a contestant less knowledgeable than her. Perhaps she did have a chance of winning this. After a beat of silence, she added mischievously, “Maybe you didn’t get one; maybe it’s just me, because I’m so important.” She meant it as a joke; a teasing lilt to her voice and laughter in her tone.
“Oh, we think we’re special, do we?” Cleo’s voice took a more pointed turn, almost like a cat toying with its prey. Her expression turned analyzing, scanning Pris in a whole new way.
“Well—I—I mean—you see—we are special, we—” Pris tried to backtrack. She’d only meant—they all were special, they’d all gotten letters to compete to be the Head Witch because they were the best. Pris wanted to be better than them, sure, but she hadn’t meant to offend Cleo!
“Oh, I see,” Cleo began, stepping closer to Pris almost threateningly.
“Erm—Listen—” Pris tried to take a step back, opening her mouth to defend herself before she was cut off.
“That seems like a challenge at this point!” Cleo spoke over her, sounding almost gleeful. She sounded as if she’d destroy Pris, and have fun doing it.
“Um, I don't think I meant it that way; but now that you've implied it… Y’know yeah. It is a challenge. What are you gonna do about it?” Pris spluttered indignantly, taking a step forward. She continued until she stood right in front of Cleo’s face until they were only a few inches apart. If Cleo wanted to fight, they could fight. Prismarina would win. Hopefully.
“Not so much right now.” Cleo shrugged, leaning back just enough to give them both room to breathe. Somehow, the Time Witch had made defeat sound both threatening and superior. Because that was what it was, right? If she wasn’t going to do anything—if she wasn’t going to fight her—then the witch had lost.
“Yeah, that’s what I thought. Save it for the games, eh?” Pris challenged, lifting her head smugly. She was the better witch, and she’d prove it. And when she was the headmistress, Cleo would have to serve her.
The thought sent a shiver up her spine—she knew, even if she would never admit it, that Cleo was more powerful than her. And so to be in charge of that… of the Witch of Time herself… The idea both fascinated and horrified her.
“Maybe. As the weeks progress… Well, we’ll see.” Cleo turned with a spin, her pretty dress swishing around her legs with a dramatic flare that Pris could never hope to achieve. She walked away with her back to Pris, disappearing in a shower of silver sparks.
“Woah,” Pris couldn’t help letting out a gasp of awe. She wanted to disappear like a cool witch! When would she learn to do that? Maybe Cleo could teach her?
Then again, she’s pretty sure she just made Cleo her enemy. A powerful Time Witch.
Perhaps she was in over her head. That was fine.
She couldn’t drown anyway.

anon asked: how do u choose the colors 4 ur art?
I don't go for any particular color palette (I admire artists who do) but just lean into colors that make my brain happy. Which usually means warmer colors as opposed to cool colors. Muted colors are cozy but I love vivid colors that as well especially as accents or background colors (helps make a character's silhouette pop). I like warm yellow-greens as opposed to blue-greens or turquoise, wine opposed to violet, etc so will often tweak colors to be warmer.
For coloring lineart I also tend to take the color of the lined area and make it darker, more saturated and hue-shift it (usually warmer color but cooler in some cases). Overall I try to balance the values of my art so that it's readable - I like to think I have a good eye for balancing values but sometimes when I'm feeling particularly unsure I'll make the art b&w to check. And for commissions I try to balance colors I like with colors that fit the character/theme, so that everyone's happy!
Some small color methods I like using in my art: mid grey-yellow to emulate a "warm blue", warm mustard as green, changing pure-white to off-white (often a light yellow but sometimes grey or cool blue depending on overall color palette) and pure-black to off-black (dark grey/blue/green), warming all greens/yellows, shifting yellow-browns to orange/red-browns, shifting purple-pink to red-pink... asked with retrospring!

zane skins/designs review!
first MCD appearance/wedding/white +gold
This is ugly as sin to be completely honest.
Okay, looking a little harder it isn’t THAT bad. The white and gold are clearly reminiscent of royalty and status, but the chosen yellow is far too on the lime green side of the spectrum to be recognizable as gold or have the same beauty as gold does. The belt looks bad, it doesn’t fit the rest of the outfit well and it would probably have given more of a priest/nun look if it weren’t present and his clothes were implied to be more drapey. This far back in his character design, his hair was also very light, giving it more of an impression of being gray than black, which thankfully she fixes eventually. The shading on the clothing- both white and gold- is very harsh and uses some really bad yellow tones (when shading with yellow, it is almost never good to take the color just closer to black, instead, making it more orange and a little darker usually makes a more aesthetically appealing color.)
There are admittedly some good, iconic features present in this design which just weren’t fully polished yet. Personally, I really like the idea of the hood, as it’s a common motif in a lot of religious clothing I feel like. Also, it looks cool, and goes well with him having a mask and covering himself.
-
main outfit (MCD)
The monochrome of this outfit works really well. All of the blacks and greys are slightly blue, lending themselves to suit his eyes nicely. The shading is nice as well. While the outfit looks good, I don’t feel the same about his face. His eyes could provide a nice pop of color, and since his clothes are tinted blue it should work, but the blue of his eyes is far too dull and light to provide any contrast or pop. Since his eyes and skin have nearly the same gray undertones, his eyes don’t pop as much as they should in a monochromatic design like this. “Also, they look like pajamas” - my boyfriend
-
other main outfit (??? this one’s white)
“This one is super ugly” - my bf
The blue crosses are too similar in color to his eyes, it draws your attention to his knees instead of his face and eyes. I think his eyes work better in this outfit though with all the white, and I like the gloves. The strap around his chest is not really recognizable as a strap and the colors in the sword are obviously awful. The brown is really bright, as is the greenish-blue color of the sword (dagger?) Also, the amount of armor and weaponry in this outfit doesn’t really make sense for him considering he rarely fights. The boots/pants situation confuses me, I don’t know what’s going on there. Are they really short shoes and black pants of almost the same color? Visually confusing and ugly. His hair is still a little bit too gray.
His mask looks like it’s really long and with a cross on it. I think that looks really good. Shoulder pads are weirdly small as well, looks goofy.
-
rebirth
Why did she make him sexy. Whats her issue
I like the belt/strap details, they add some well needed texture to the previous design. The pants/shoes situation is still confusing and hard to tell what’s what. Finally, she’s utilizing his eyes as a proper pop of color. Personally, I would make them more on the purplish side of blue, but the green tint does match his sword, so that’s a nice touch.
-
Jury of nine transformation (I think?)
He’s big. You can’t see his face. He’s evil. Very sexy of him.
-
season 3 (shadow knight armor)
I really like the purples in this one, and I think the shading is nice. I think the red should have probably been toned down a little because it’s very harsh and yet again draws attention away from his face. I’ll say it once and I’ll say it again, the full gem swords are ugly as shit. No escaping it. They’re all bad and look tacky.
The reasoning for why his mask is shaped that way still eludes me. He’s wearing all armor in this outfit, so the same hoodie-scarf-mask made of fabric he usually wears makes even less sense. There’s definitely cooler ways to cover his face, use some creativity. At this point, she was only giving him a mask because it was an established part of his character, not because it served any narrative or aesthetic purposes.
-
beach episode (side stories)
trans ? why is he wearing that.
The shorts and top have no shading. Other than that, there isn’t much clothing to critique so... overall I think it’s kinda cute. The colors are pretty balanced, and I appreciate giving him some kind of shirt even at the beach, considering he’s usually covered head-to-toe. Not the kind of guy who should have abs though. Not everyone is Grey Fullbuster, Jess.

The planet Duendi. (magz worldbuilding from 2019)
Inorganic Elements
On this planet called Duendi, there are green puffs of smoke and glittering twinkles suspended in it’s atmosphere. There are clashes of rock formation, usually having an artificial looking matte red and grey surface.
A cool blue light bends and spreads after bouncing around the puffy emerald green and cyan colored clouds that occasionally rain yellow sulphur, and heavy showers of water a couple times a year.
Those clouds are always present as thin floating sheets in the sky. The blue light comes from the white dwarf star 11 light minutes away, the sort of light that got distorted by the filtering skies.
The sky looks like a big tub of moving marbling paint fixed right above everything, a slow but satisfying movement of swirls and ribbons where greens, blacks, light blues, and any other of the frequently changing colors that pierced through the stratosphere at different times of the day.
At the middle of a 65 hour day, just as the white dwarf star would shine brightly upon most of one side of Duendi, the skies would look thinner and less opaque. They would look like the depths of deep, rolling water. Most of Duendi has anywhere from a 60% to 95% humidity rate despite the infrequent water showers, but the ground and the air retain the humid rather well.
Uneven patches of temperature of hot 65 degrees and cold -35 degrees Celsius with subtle shifts between different zones of temperature is like this because of how the water reserves everywhere would absorb and sometimes heat up everything around as a consistent rate when hit by warming light rays.
The feeling was often warm and damp, like a wet thick sweater being worn close to a fireplace.
Organic Elements
Algae loved the humidity of this place. Duendi had plenty of water and other liquids that would pool together in cracks, deep holes, and dips in almost anywhere, but especially the ground.
The algae adapted to the conditions of the planet by taking on a light color and fuzzy edges in parts of Duendi where there was sparse light and a lot of damp dirt and minerals.
The fuzzy edges would bury deep, sometimes like roots, sipping on the rich mineral waters below.
And in the places with an overabundance of water and light rays, the algae came in many different forms, some would float like flat buoyant disks that were dry and hard at the top, some would anchor at the bottom, others would fill themselves up at the edges of the water and inflate. And from those kinds of algae, there was everything in between. They thrived rather well on Duendi.
Why talk so much about such simple creatures? Well, they thrived so well that they make up a lot of things, influenced almost everything, and were certainly on or in a huge chunk of Duendi.
When they bunched up together, depending on the situation they could either:
A) Become brittle and break down into dust, enriching their surroundings.
B) Pack tightly and under the heat and pressure of Duendi’s rock and 3.5G Gravity, become beautiful crystals that often decorated the oldest of formations.
C) Explode in unison upon their death, in hopes of reproducing, often creating rainbows and sometimes becoming a part of the dense atmosphere and clouds.
Over time, different creatures formed, dependent on the oversaturation of algae in the environment to thrive.
“The vegetation” are all short and close to the ground, from round ‘bubbles’, underwater spindly tentacles, spirals that clung tightly to rocks, small beads that flew in the air and burrowed once settled, and so many more.
Many species of vegetation provided more of the silicon, salts, and carbon (dioxide and disulfide and benzene) on Duendi. The green and yellow bubbling plants grew at high heights, the sulfide rains would slide on the crystalline rocky slabs they would pop up on.
Those plants would drip carbon disulfide and absorb the rains, reproducing from the hot liquid that would overflow.
Conscious slimy blobs would eat and sip from these liquids and the plants themselves, digesting them slowly for many planet rotations.
Thinking beings
These are the main thinking beings on Duendi, however ther are more, but they do not have as wide an influence as these two.
--The Asanjei are individual masses of viscous substance and a central nervous system with several, specialized tiny brains branching off inside of them.
They usually bind themselves in soothing bandages made of the fibers of drooping plants that grow close to Duendi’s pools of water, their outer layers of “skin” (a thin layer that forms around the surface of their bodies) are hyper-sensitive to many sensations. That skin works as a protective layer that prevents their insides from moving on their own and it can be uncomfortable to not be bound by woven fibers.
The Asanjei move rather slowly (1.5 miles per hour when they exert themselves), have pre-tensile extended limbs that can retract into their bodies, and have slug-like lower halves. They do not have very specialized developed eyes but they can see with preliminary spots around their upper and middle half that can sense light.
They also have concave spots spread out on their bodies that can perceive forms, as a result, they can “see” at many different angles like an extreme and somewhat blurry fish-eye lense as a result of the many inputs getting filtered through a couple of their tiny “brains” to have a complete image.
They can secrete poisonous liquids from their skin as a result of eating poisonous plants that they build immunity towards, starting from when they are basically toddlers.
They reproduce by using a “host” as a receptacle, which can be the corpse of a fleshy meal in rare occasions (it’s seen in bad taste to do that) or as is more common -- using the warm fibers of trees and plants that grow close to them, and their nutrients left inside after many Asanjei members of age deposit reproductive materials. After a few rotations, in the Duendi equivalent of spring and fall, Asanjei pupas will come out and be cared for.
They have 4 “genders”: they can be translated as spade, sphere, leaf, and fire. Anything from their receptacle’s temperature, the kind of nutrients they absorb, the climate, and anything else from before they are born chooses what gender they are.
The way the different genders are distinguished between each other are through markings on their bodies and the colors they are. Their genders do not fundamentally change what they are capable of doing nor their organ’s functionality except through their culture’s expectations, variation in hormonal discharges, and who they are allowed contact with (only their own gender) until they grow up as adolescents before they are fully matured.
Spades and Spheres are focused on physical exertion to get closer to their higher powers, Spades use tools more often, with Spheres more likely to be bare besides their bindings.
Leaf and Fire are both covered a lot more for social conventions to allow for longer periods of reflective meditation and rituals without risking their skins, Leafs usually grow out spindles and tubes of gelatinous masses that serve aesthetic functions and can rarely act as extra limbs when they reach older age, and Fires are likely to focus on the teaching aspects of religion.
Though this might seem as rather superficial or that it could heavily affect the kinds of jobs they get in society, any gender is capable of getting any job, however the way they are expected to act in the roles they get heavily relies on their genders, with certain methods and handicaps expected for each gender and how they act when doing jobs.
For example, if a leaf Asanjei becomes a warrior, they are still expected to wear a lot of bindings and grow out (often vistigial) appendages, and as a result they have to pin those appendages in place so as to not get in the way and be careful not to overheat and are allowed to have more access to water than their different gendered warrior peers.
There are 2 main cultural categories of Asanjei, that are defined by their location.
The ones from Northern Duendi close to swamps and wetlands, that often live in the waters. They see the waters as holy and it is a rite of passage for a young Asanjei to be allowed to swim and practice their religious rituals in the large body of water their settlement was built around.
They grow from their pupal stage (they are like balls of viscous slime with big faux eyes and thick “skin” and stubby limbs. Their appearance is similar to a pupal earth bee.) where they’ll have to be protected by an assigned “wet mistress” (like a temporary adoptive parent) until they metamorph to their final adult form after becoming much bigger and then hibernating for about 15 Duendi days.
While hibernating, they are protected several at a time in cool-aired huts close to the large body of water, and tended to by several wet mistresses.
The coming of age ritual is very important as the waters they are dipped in for the first time decide their role in later stages in life, like whether they are a priest, sanitations worker, wet mistress, warrior, food preparer, “manager”, teacher, etc.
The ones from West Duendi’s sweltering deserts wear more varieties of bindings and clothing to protect them, and rely on tool-making for survival.
There are 15% more spades in Western Asanjei populations than in Northern ones. They are a nomadic culture unlike the Northern Asanjei. Western Asanjei are raised in groups with many children being raised by many adults. They eat much more meats and other slimes moreso than plants (2 to 1 ratio), with exception of poisonous plants they consume to produce their own poison.
Early in life, they are taught various skills for survival and it’s mandatory for young Asanjei to cycle between different groups of adults with different roles, so that they learn from as many groups before maturing. However, they are not expected to have strong emotional connections until they grow up and are urged to focus on personal development instead.
Despite being more “community” driven overall, young Asanjei are given different treatment and expectations to the point that they will not know how it really is to be a “part of a family” until they grow up, so they generally do not get attached to any specific group or individual as by the time they are adults those adult members that raised them often die or are no longer a part of their trade.
There is a lot of importance given towards broadening their knowledge. Once they metamorphose they are expected to choose their roles themselves and are taken under the wing of an adult with a workshop for hundreds of rotations until they become independent, get to choose a more permanent group of the community to be a part of, and are allowed to participate in creating Asanjai pupas.
--Purple Jains. As their name implies they are purple, but not from their own pigmentation. It’s from eating and rubbing against purple spores that grow around Southern and Western Duendi.
Their actual color is a very dark blue that borders on black, with grey flesh and skin. The spores help distinguish between them more and they use them to make markings on themselves, that can have many meanings between what time of year it is like holiday wear, when they were born, their religious affiliation, and so on.
The spores also prevent parasites from getting on their skin. They are very small and often form beneficial relationships with other organisms, even the Asanjei. The average full-grown Purple Jain is 25 inches tall, have many thousands of spindly feathers that aeriate heat through miniscule tube structures that are a part of the feather, have two long triple jointed legs that are good for jumping and assisting in swimming whenever needed, and 4 arms attached to insect-like sections to their abdomen that swivel as much as 80 degrees independently of each other.
They have sharp chiseled beeks and blunt teeth inside their mouths. And they have a long strip of an “eye” above their beeks that can sense visible light and part of uv rays emitted by the white dwarf star, useful for finding prey rich in nutrients -- those that usually bounce more uv rays in Duendi.
They don’t have societies that vary heavily from each other besides small variations of their main form of communication (dialects of language), they migrate often and keep constant tabs on each member of their race.
They have a fast and efficient hub of communication between each branch of Purple Jains. Their language is modular and easy to learn for young Purple Jains. Adult Purple Jains make the babies and toddlers absorb the meanings of various noises, scratches, symbols, and smoke signals in the way they communicate as part of how they are raised.
When a purple jain dies, for 3 days (around an earth week) they are mourned and given ceremonies of respect with their bodies covered, plants and objects are then presented around their covered bodies signifying how they were in life or what they could have been, and then they are stripped and spread where they originally died or where they used to live. Where a purple jain is buried or spread, purple flowers (buds of circular shapes) bloom.
They are formed from a mixture of the nutrients of the Purple Jain’s corpse, their remaining unused energy before dying if any, and the spores that had become a part of their bodies and mutated in the Purple Jains’ presence to last longer on their bodies and survive. Those flowers are seen as the continuation of the purple jain’s spirit, and their buds are eaten on days of rememberance that happen every time the white dwarf star aligns with the Southern or Western Duendi skies to create rippling sky phenomenons (about every 3 to 8 earth months). Purple jains do not have specialized roles or genders and are a jack of all trades. They are able to communicate with many species by imitating their sounds, body languages, and the smells of other creatures. They hunt, bathe, court, eat, nurse, and procreate entirely dependent on the time of day and season.
In other words, everything has a set time to be done, and synchronization and pre-planning is what makes them strong as a sense of community and as force, besides their adaptability in forming symbiotic relationships with other native beings.
They are born as tinier, featherless versions of adults with softer membranes and only 2 developed sections of their abdomens instead of 3 with rudimentary stubs for their second set of arms. The babies are carried around by their parents that gave birth to them through sexual reproduction, and are taught to hunt very early on, immediately after they learn how to communicate and understand their language.
Purple jains always keep tabs of their frequency of hunting and the number of prey as to not have too little later on and complicate their matters. If a purple jain over-hunts or hunts when it is not time to, then they are punished, punishment can be anything from cutting a limb, being buried for a whole Duendi day, or being killed.
The bodies of traitorous Purple Jains are also given respect and ceremonies through their rituals, but they are not given as much respect to be buried where they died or lived in unlike their non-traitorous counterparts, and instead are dumped in special graves for “the damned”. The flowers born of those bodies are not allowed to be consumed, it is believed they are somehow twisted. and are instead used for religious purposes to be burned and exume evil 4 times a Duendi year to re-new energies.
Locations
In the Northern wetlands, beyond heavy fogs, lies a sparkling natural fountain with a sparkling bluish liquid that absorbs the energy of spirits and the rays of the white dwarf star, such that it is protected by the Asanjei as a politically and religiously important ground. The Northern Asanjei have a monopoly on the consumption of the liquid, nicknamed “the star’s tears”.
They enforce and protect the sparkling liquid by any and all means, making it impossible to touch it without permission without dying. Once the liquid is consumed, they can transform the individual into a stronger, semi-immortal being whose frame of thought and understanding is forever changed (“enlightenment”).
The issue with this is that the one who consumed are often inclined to separate themselves from their own societies to do the bidding of the One Entity and not necessarily do what was previously in their or their species’/culture’s best interest. It is rare for someone to be allowed to consume The Star’s Tears because of how they lose themselves, especially if weak-willed, and can be a serious threat. Regardless, there are fanatics that desire to one day be allowed access to it, whether for financial gains or to threaten the current status quo or to be strong enough to protect what they hold dear.
Large bodies of water that western Asanjei settlements worship and hold dear have a very, very diluted version of the star’s tears. That’s why those bodies of water are closed off and a part of Asanjei property. Asanjei members (and other species even) are sometimes sacrificed or punished by being fed to the fountain, absorbing their life and dying as a fodried husk.
-The millenium trees. These are located in East Duendi, and make it hard to inhabit the East as they attract chaos and death. Millenium trees are the only “real trees” on Duendi and are several thousands of years old. Under their soil and roots, they all connect to one point, towards the sleeping chamber of an unspoken entity that warps and crafts many aspects of Duendi in their slumber. No one is aware of this, nor are they allowed to by the many anomalies that appear in these several hundred of thousands of miles of woods.
-”Eternal fire pit”. It’s not actually eternal and they are not one specific place. These fire pits are located in southern, northern, central, and western duendi as several sepearate spaces that connect to each other as an interconnected hub of fire (which is why they may be referred to as one place) and continually fuel burning. Useful for survival to find these fire pits.
Sensor anomalies
The spirit is just as it sounds, it is a form of you beyond your fleshy body. All inhabitors of Duendi have spirit, spirit cannot be completely destroyed or created, they are basically recycled between each other bit by bit like matter and energy. It is strong enough to allow life and consciousness, and to allow the existence of magic.
Magic is quite simple on Duendi, the limit is how much spirit you have access to and there are limitations of how much can be used by one mortal at a time, as well as per lifetime.
With this in mind, anything from using up your own limited spirit until you die or lose consciousness, to sacrificing others, or using material with a lot of spirit accumulated… are allowed.
Magic is dangerous and risky, so it is not uncommon to restrict it’s usage in cultures. Magic is capable of healing, destruction, re-construction, and combination/reaction.
Something that’s practical to be achieved by the average lifeform, assuming they would be allowed to use magic, would be to create an explosion of a 15 yard radius as destruction for one “spell”; capable of re-constructing a blasted limb up to a foot long; Heal one individual’s severe burn wounds; or make two otherwise non-reactive elements combine into a concentrated rich edible food that can fuel any organism for up to a week… before losing consciousness.
Duendi is home to The One Entity Being a mass of old spirit that never dissipated and has it’s own will, a great deal of power and influence due to it’s mass collection of spirit that keeps replenishing itself once spirit is used for magic by others or spirit is left unguarded / unclaimed and it decides to make that spirit a part of itself. It is so huge and enormous as a mass that would be hard to imagine and quantify for us, and it would virtually + practically never run out of spirit to use for magic even if it tried.
Limitations of magic usage are not in place for The One Entity Being, as it has enough spirit and does not count as one consciousness / lifetime / individual such that it circumvents those conventions.
The One Entity is the closest thing to a g-d that Duendi has. It is hard to understand it’s reasoning and self-interest, it can be benevolent or rather cruel with living inhabitants of Duendi, and the only thing known for sure is that it wants to keep existing for as long as it can.

Just wrote down what my initial attachment to the Omnitrix and my first transformation felt like (an excerpt from a much larger writing project). If you've seen the first episode of the show, it's basically a retelling of that, from my own perspective
Content warning: Animorphs-style body horror, mild eye horror
It dug into me. Wires and cables and I-don't-know-what. It should have hurt. I think I convinced myself that it hurt. I could feel it snaking its way into me, burrowing under my skin, replacing my veins with its chords, and I could feel my own flesh somehow retaliating and worming its way into the device. But that wasn't the worst of it. It had attached itself deep within my arm, but worse, I could feel it in my brain - its artificial semi-consciousness was probing my brain and, in turn, my brain probed back. I was paralyzed from shock as we eyed each other, unsure whether to defend ourselves against this intruder in our respective systems.
In the end, without speaking any words, but somehow talking anyways, like two predators circling each other, we decided to let down our guard and see the situation out. We were attached to each other, seemingly for good - better to draft a peace treaty than fight a battle no one would win.
I don't know how long I stood there, frozen and dazed, while the Omnitrix and I "talked," but I eventually came to.
I was shaking. Hard. I felt at once weaker and stronger than ever, like my skeleton had been reinforced with titanium, while my muscles had been sapped of strength. I could still feel it in the back of my mind, but it was like it had retreated to observe my actions.
I willed myself to move, lifting my wrist to get a better look at the device. It was small and simple-looking. No cosmetics, as far as I could tell. Just the simple grey colors of whatever material it was made of, and four green buttons. Fear and confusion again gave way to curiosity. I forgot to be scared, and instead started poking the thing, pulling at it, biting it, trying to... I don't know, trying to get it to do something?
At the press of two buttons, the round center-piece - the dial - popped out and lit up green. The black silhouette of a man (or something similar to a man, at least) was highlighted against a green background. Carefully, curiously, I pressed it down and...
It only lasted a few seconds, but each second burnt itself so deeply into my memory, it might as well have been hours. My body changed before my eyes...
No. It didn't change, it was replaced.
Molecule by molecule, my own flesh and bones and DNA were sucked into the Omnitrix, at the exact same time as new matter was spit out. Like the attachment process, the transformation was painless, but the horror was all the same. In milliseconds I felt my eyes get sucked into the wires that now extended throughout my body, and before the light had even left my retinas, new eyes had taken their place. It was sensory overload. I screamed, but my voice was no longer my own. It sounded deep and raspy.
My vision got worse, and my sense of smell left me completely. But I was taller and stronger. I felt confident. And as I looked down at myself, the instincts that came with this body liked what they saw.
First thing that stood out to me: I was on fire. But the body's self-assuredness was enough to keep me from freaking out. I was on fire, but it was so cool - I was so cool - that all I wanted to do was find someone to show it off to. I jumped out of the crater (I could jump so high!) and picked up the stick I'd been wielding earlier. It didn't burn, even though my hands were like embers.
I concentrated, listening to the body's instincts, and forced fire out my hands. The stick burned up in seconds, and I dropped it out of shock. I was more powerful than I'd thought. I would have to practice if I wanted to show off without killing anyone.
So I started burning random things; grass, leaves, sticks, trying to figure out how much power was safe to use.
Didn't wanna start a forest fire, right?

yo part 1 of musical mages au??? :0 no way!!!!
DISCLAIMER!! ALL THE MONSTERS ARE HUMANIZED ANTHROMORPHS!!
Also ima just have this on my main- it's easier than way XD
A cool, calm, ocean breeze. Grass swaying in the valleys. Snow glistening atop the peak of the Horizon Mountains. Cacti soaking up the beaming sun. A fish swims along the coast of the Rocky Plain. A light grey plume of smoke and volcanic gas seeping upwards into the clear blue sky, bright and cheery.
This was Jasper's home. At least, the Valley was.
Starwell was busy, as it always was. Monsters walking down the cobblestone roads, quickly passing by the shabbily put up stalls on the sides of the roads. Carts and carriages rolled along in the thun thun of wheels and clip clop of the maorse (mantis horse) buggies. Shouts of the newsboys waving paper pamphlets could be heard, as well as conversations in outdoor cafés and trading stalls that were aforementioned on the sides of the roads.
All of this could be faintly heard in Jasper's dark, cool bedroom.
It was a neat, organized bedroom; papers stacked and clipped neatly on a desk, pens and pencils in a opaque black tin, little wooden carvings and photos lined neatly atop a shelf above a clothes dresser, books tucked away in a bookshelf, and clothes hung up neatly on a rack in a shallow walk-in closet, with small boxes tucked neatly into corners inside that closet.
The only unorganized item in the room was the bed - roughly queen sized, maybe a bit larger. The blankets were sideways and hanging off the bed, and underneath those blankets was a slumbering, snoring Jasper.
A fist from downstairs banged on the wall.
"Jasper! Wake up, it's breakfast!" A female voice called.
"Hnnnnmmh... five more minutes..." he turned over.
A few moments of silence. A fist banged on the wall again, with more assertiveness this time.
"Jasper!!"
"I'm coming!"
With some reluctance, Jasper turned back over to roll out of bed, his feet hitting the floor with a thump. He wasn't exactly graceful, you see, being the giant he is.
He opened the window and light flooded the room. A brilliant blue-violet, with remnants of pink-orange along the horizon. It was early morning, sure, but monsters were walking about. He definitely had slept in a little too much, he was usually up at sunrise.
Maybe it had to do with some late night wood carving the previous night.
Jasper got day clothes, now with a small sense of urgency, and got himself together.
His routine was usually something like this: wake up, get clothes. Brush hair and teeth, get dressed, head downstairs. From then, eat breakfast and help open shop.
He did just that, just with more urgency.
Jasper was a big and handsome guy- he had a broad chest, like a barrel, and was tall. His arms and legs were thick all the way around, and his hands about the size of small melons. And, of course, he had small green horns protruding from the top of his head, with even more vibrant green curling around his horns and face. A goatee of the same shade of green provided the only pop of color on his grey-hued skin, aside from his brilliant violet-grey eyes.
Jasper hurried down the stairs, buttoning the last few buttons on his white shirt, turning the corner to see his family in the middle of eating breakfast.
"Ah, there you are!" A slightly tall female smiled at him, welcoming him to the room. "I was starting to worry you fell back asleep."
The female was his mother, Carlee Rhondischite. She was smaller in build, but still tall. Her light green hair was pulled tightly back in a knot. Her small gemstone green horns glittered a little bit as she moved her head and they caught the light.
She sat at the far side of the table, right next to Jasper's father, Falspar, who was sitting at the head of the table. His food was mostly eaten, and he was reading the day's paper. On the other side of Carlee was Jasper's brother Howie. Howie was a year younger than Jasper, and they too were so similar in appearance, one could've mistaken them for twins. They even had similar personalities (Howie was more bold and outspoken than Jasper, somewhat rebellious too. But they got along perfectly).
Next to Howie (on his right) was Peridot, one of Jasper's sisters. She was 2 years younger than Howie, making her three years younger than Jasper. Peri was a quiet, reserved monster, not really talking much. Her hair was long and silky, similar in color to her dad's deep emerald hair.
On Peri's right was the next sister Juliette, 2 years younger than Peri (5 years younger than Jasper). Juli was the complete opposite of Peri; talkative, social, and bubbly. When Jasper was coming down the stairs, he could hear Juli talking about something that she did in school a few days prior with friends. And Juli being Juli, she had a lot of friends.
Across from Juli was the youngest brother, Rudy (a year younger than Juli, 6 years from Jasper). He's always getting in trouble, and he's broken horn proves it. Rudy's right horn was snapped clean in half during some stunt that involved a maorse cart, some pumpkin puree, and a soapy water puddle. Rudy turned out fine, but that horn isn't gonna grow much more when he turns 18 (He's 15 currently).
Next to her, on her right, was an empty seat- Jasper's seat. And a plate of warm breakfast was awaiting Jasper's arrival.
"How come you didn't wake me sooner?" Jasper asked as he took a seat.
"Figured you needed the sleep," his dad answered. "I mean, between all the work you put in-" Falspar stares at Jasper in the eyes "and all that late night carving you do."
Jasper exhaled a laugh out of his nose, blushing a little at the comment. How embarrassing! He was supposed to be the example for his siblings, and staying up late is not great exemplary action.
"He's just trying to impress that one chick that comes by every now and then," Howie chimed, giving a mischievous grin. "What was her name again? Valeria?"
"Minevera," Jasper answered, "and were just acquaintances. Not even friends. Acquaintances."
"And? Doesn't mean that you don't want to pull her."
"Howie!" Their mother hissed. Jasper flushed with embarrassment and some frustration. He bent his head down and shoveled his food in.
"Whaaat? I was joking! It was a joke," Howie turned back to Jasper, hiding his somewhat obvious pink face. "I know you two only mean business."
Without a comment, Jasper stood and left the table, his plate empty.
The younger siblings were busy chatting away about whatever they chatted about nowadays. Jasper and his dad left to open shop.
The Rhondischite house was a three story home. The shop was the first floor, the main floor. The second floor was the kitchen, the living room, the primary bedroom where the parents slept, and a secondary bedroom where Juliette and Amethyst slept. A bathroom was also on the second floor. The third floor consisted of three rooms (which are bedrooms- Jasper's, Peri's and Howie and Rudy's shared bedroom). Another bathroom was on the third floor, along with a study room.
It wasn't really huge, but only seemed so because of its three floors.
So Jasper and Falspar headed downstairs, prepping the wares for the day's customers. For the most part, everything was in place. It was just dusting everything off, getting the old register a check for functionality, and setting put any new wares that needed a display... such as the wooden carvings that Jasper had spent the last couple of nights doing.
The Rhondischite General Store was just another practical wares store. They sold all sorts of home practical equipment and furnishes, from furniture frames to thread. It was, in the most basic sense, a home crafts store (although Falspar didn't particularly liked that term).
Jasper was nearly done with his wooden arts display when Falspar unlocked the front door and flipped the sign hanging on said door from "Sorry! We're CLOSED" to "Welcome! We're OPEN"
"Ready for another day?" Falspar asked his eldest son enthusiastically, rubbing his melon-sized hands together.
"Always," Jasper responded, stepping away from the display he was attending to, giving it a satisfied nod.
"Perfect!" Falspar headed back upstairs. "I left some paperwork upstairs, I'll be right back.
"Alright," Jasper headed to the register, sorting through drawers filled with already unorganized paperwork. It needed to be organized, and the first customers usually didn't walk in til 20 minutes after the shop opens.
Jasper took out the endless paper stacks from the drawers. He never really realized that there were so many- why would they have that many stacks of papers?
Probably bills and business stuff.
Ding!
Jasper looked up from what he was doing and saw a petite figure walk through the door.
A regular.
She was small in stature, and a little short. Her extremely curly brown hair was kept back by a natural headband of crystal shards, like a crown almost. Similar crown-style crystals wrapped around her wrists, like natural bracelets. Said crystals were a coral pink (or orange? Jasper honestly couldn't tell), which complemented the terracotta tones of her skin. Her eyes were a dazzling green-blue, like gemstones.
She visited the shop often, and Jasper got to know her as Minevera the seamstress/tailor. No surprise she was the first customer
"Mornin' Minnie," Jasper smiled at her.
"Good morning, Jasper," She returned the smile, walking towards the sewing and fabric section of the shop.
Minnie was not just any regular customer or seamstress; she was a nobleman's daughter who got commissioned by the duchesses in the castle to craft their dresses. Her shop is small, but it works on a job-by-job basis, so often it's closed (whether she'd be at home or working in the castle). And with all the commission work she does in the castle, and with all the satisfied duchesses after the fact, her work has gotten quite reputable.
Which is a long, winded way of saying Minnie is out of place at the Rhondischite shop.
You'd expect a higher class monster to go to a high-end shop for their goods, especially if you're a seamstress looking for high quality thread and such. Yes, the wares at Rhondischite's is good, but what nobleman in their right mind would want their clothes made of "poor man's wool"?
Apparently Minnie's clients.
"How's the shop?" Japser asked, trying for a casual conversation.
"Same as always," Minnie picked out a few fabrics and plenty of thread, "on the inside its vacant, but I'm still runnin' around town. Sewing and such."
"Does it ever get tiring? Running around and making dresses?"
"Not particularly." Minnie walked over to the counter with the goods in her arms. Fabric and thread, and a whole lot of it. A couple square yards at least.
Jasper knew this routine like his own palmprint, and starting tallying the total. Somewhere around 600 gold coins.
Then Minnie noticed the display next to her.
"Ooooo, what's this?" She focused her attention on the intricate wooden carvings displayed neatly before her.
Jasper felt his face warm up at the cheeks.
"Oh, uh, those are my wood carvings," Jasper rubbed the back of his next nervously. Minnie, though familiar, was the first non-family monster to look at his carvings.
Minnie picked one up - a carving of a majestic Strombonin - and observed every last detail of it.
It was a beautiful carving, made of Everblue wood. Every last scale, every last brush of fur was included. The expression was flawlessly expressive, the proportions very close to perfect. Clearly, Jasper had spent a while carving this piece exactly right.
"You made these?" Minnie looked back at Jasper in slight disbelief. "You're VERY talented."
"Not really," Jasper gave a nervous smile. "They're kinda just what I do on the side."
"You should sell more of these, they're beautiful," Minnie went back at looking at the wooden Strombonin.
"I think I'll get one of these, too."
Jasper blushed even more. His first carving sale!
"Aw, are you embarrassed?" Minnie laughed a bit.
"Maybe," Jasper couldn't hide his happiness behind his smile. If anything, he was overjoyed. Slightly nervous, but overjoyed.
"Adorable," Minnie placed the carving on the counter. "This is all I'll get for today."
"650 coins is your total," Jasper announced, placing the items in a cloth bag.
Minnie searched her pocket for two seconds before retrieving a bag of coins. She placed it on the counter.
"Erm-"
"Keep it. Whatever's in there, keep it," Minnie grabbed the bag, and started for the door. "Invest in some better wood. Maybe better tools, who knows."
She smiled one last time at him before leaving the store.
Jasper stared at the door for a long time, trying to remember Minnie's warm smile. Howie's words came back to him.
"He's just trying to impress that one chick that comes by every now and then..."
Jasper shook off the thought, disgusted with himself. They barely knew each other! Why would Jasper want to impress her?
Maybe...
"Um, excuse me sir," a voice interrupted Jasper's thought. An older gentleman, and from his snow-white curly hair and stronger build, Jasper guessed the man was a Mammott sort. He was on the other side of the room, looking at wood samples.
"How may I help you?" Jasper walked over to the man, grateful that his thought was interrupted. He couldn't be thinking like that, especially towards an upper class monster.
No matter.
"Ah, yes, I need your professional advice on these wood samples," the Mammott gave a shy smile, then looked back to the samples.
"Well, what are you looking for?"
"I just need to know the difference between this Walnut wood and the Everblue wood..."
The Mammott rambled about how he didn't know which one had better attributes to his fence project, and how he knew he wanted a dark wood, but didn't know which kind of wood to get. The usual "He's my situation, now you tell me what is best."
"Erm, let me go get my boss, he's more of an expert on these things," Jasper headed towards the stairs at the back of the shop. "I'll be right back."
"Excuse me sir!" Another customer. Younger, a female, seemed to be of a Ethereal kind. A Whisp, Jasper thought.
"One moment, please!"
He ran up the stairs, wondering why his father was taking so long. By the time he was at the top of the stairs, Falspar was about to head down, carrying a stack of papers in his arm.
"There's a customer- a Mammott- that needs some tips on which wood he needs," Jasper explained in a slight rush.
His father nodded and the two went back down the stairs. Falspar set down his papers and headed to the Mammott gentleman, while Jasper headed to the Whisp lady.
By then, the shop was busy. Jasper hoped Howie would be back soon- he was busy walking the younglings to the school. Their mother already gone to work at the bakery (she worked part time there).
"How may I help you, miss?" Jasper greeted the Whisp with a smile.
And she explained why she called Jasper over, he could already see a line forming at the register. Not a long one yet, but still. Goes to show that today's gonna be a busy day.
A very busy day.

What Colour Bridal Shoes Go Best with Your Pastel Wedding Dress
The right bridal shoes are very important more so when you are going to wear a pastel wedding dress. The shoes should not only complement your gown but also add to your elegance and comfort. Everything in a pastel dress is soft and subtle, so the shoes need to be in sync. Here's a guide on how to find the perfect bridal shoes to go with a pastel wedding dress.
Why the Right Bridal Shoes Matter?
Your wedding shoes are far from just an accompaniment to your overall bride attire. They must complement the color and the style of your dress while being comfortable enough to be worn for a long time. The wrong shoes will take away from the delicate beauty of bridal shoes for a pastel wedding dress, so it's important to choose wisely.
1. Nude or blush—the perfect match for pastels
Nude and blush shoes are colors that will go with any pastel shade. Nude shoes do this by elongating and creating a sleek line with the color of the skin tone, while blush shoes add a touch of soft romance, especially when paired with pink, lavender, or peach dresses. These colors complement pastel shades without overwhelming them and are suitable for any bride who desires a cohesive, subtle look.
2. Metallic: A Dash of Glamour
Metallic shoes, such as gold, silver, and rose gold, are sure to add much glitter to your wedding attire. Such shades can easily pick up light and carry a feeling of glamour with your appearance. Gold and rose gold look good on peach and blush tones of warmer pastels, while silver is a great choice for lavender, blue, or mint green in cool tones. These wedding shoes for brides give the exact amount of shine without clashing with the softness of your dress.
3. Ivory or White: A Timeless and Classic Choice
Give your wedding dress a classic touch by having it made of ivory or white. Ivory and white wedding shoes provide the bride with several classic, ageless looks that ooze elegance during this auspicious occasion. These colors provide a very soft contrast to pastel shades while giving your outfit poise. Specifically, ivory bridal shoes look great with light blue, lavender, or peach dresses; however, white shoes will yield a crisp, clean look. Using these traditional colors ensures that the focus stays on the dress while providing an added bride-like elegance.
4. Pastel Shades: Embracing the Monochromatic Look
Seek out shoes in the same pastel family as the dress. It is a very nice fashion move that creates a seamlessly integrative look, elegant and sophisticated. Another would be a contrasting pastel hue with a hint of a pop of color. An example is the lavender shoes with a pink dress that provide soft, contrasting pops against each other but stay harmonious-looking.
5. Soft Grey: A Modern and Understated Choice
Soft grey shoes are an unexpected but chic option for bridal footwear with pastel wedding dresses. This is a versatile color that adds modernity to any outfit. Grey shoes go rather well with pink, peach, or lavender gowns. They offer subtle contrast without overpowering the look but add style to the overall bride's outlook.
6. Champagne: Luxurious and Subtle
Champagne-colored shoes add a touch of luxury to your wedding attire. A warm, subtle sheen of champagne brings added opulence without shouting too loudly at the viewer. It's an excellent choice with pastel dresses in blush, peach, or pale gold, as this color dresses up your look with richness but keeps soft as any pastel theme would require.
7. Light Blue: Something Blue for Tradition
Having "something blue" on the wedding day is such a treasured tradition, so light blue shoes are such a lovely way to be able to do that. Light blue shoes maintain a soft, romantic touch and work well with warmer pastel hues like pink, peach, blush, or any other similar shades. This makes a small but really meaningful point in the bride's overall outfit.
Conclusion: Stepping into Elegance
The right bridal shoes should balance with a pastel wedding dress. Whether it's nude for subtlety, metallics for glamour, ivory for the classic look, or champagne for pure luxury, your wedding shoes must shout your personal style while complementing your wedding dress. You will be able to walk down that aisle with class, grace, and confidence in perfect complement to your wedding dress by choosing the right shoes.

Chapter 2: Southern breeze
This chapter may or may not be difficult to read cos it’s a bit edgy I was like seventeen when I wrote this lmaoo
“I’m Hala, welcome to Alola.” His eyes were smiling since his mouth was behind his grey moustache. I nodded again, I could feel my cheeks burning from the embarrassment I made out of myself. Saying hi wasn’t so hard was it? Yet I found it hard to talk.
He grabbed my luggage without me asking him to, and we were off. He let me into his car, it had a sweet cashmerean scent, the AC was already on. I took a seat in the back even though he urged me to come and sit on the passenger seat next to him, I didn’t take the offer.
The drive to Hala’s place took a little while due to ferry trips between the islands. We ended up by a small town in a forested area. It looked like a summer camp but it was probably my Galarian view on things.
Hala carried my things into my assigned room. In the midst of it all a boy with green hair pulled into a ponytail came to introduce himself as Hau. It made me realize I haven’t said a word to Hala. I felt pretty embarrassed about that still. I had no idea what to say.
Although I haven’t uttered a single word to any of them, Hau stuck around, watching me unpack and sometimes, being the nosy kid that he was would pick up my things and ask me what it was. Everytime he did so I’d take object of question out of his hands and put it in place, in the most non hostile way as I possibly could.
Hau didn’t seem to take offense to it in the slightest and just kept doing what he did. I heard a gasp coming from his direction, I glanced at him and of course he was holding my luxuryball with Galvantula in it. He didn’t open it, which was much appreciated.
“You have a Pokémon? That’s so cool which one is it.?” Hau seemed so excited, maybe he has Pokémon too, can’t say. I took the pokeball out of his hands, I got eye contact with him and the look on his face was heartbreaking. I hesitated for a little bit until I gave in, letting out a sigh of defeat.
I pressed the black pokeball and out came a giant yellow spider. Hau’s eyes widened in excitement. Galvantula was walking around itself, trying to take in its environment, also because it hasn’t been outside it’s pokeball for an ungodly amount of time.
When it spotted me it let out a happy high pitched chirp lunging into my arms. I let out a chuckle, happy to finally see my old friend again. I pet it’s furry body, I looked into it’s eyes and it’s big blue eyes stared back at me.
“A Galvantula!“ Hau cheered and went closer to have a better look at it. “I’ve never seen one of these in real life before.” He examined it even closer, Galvantula was quick to let the curious boy get closer and even pet it if he wanted to.
“Pops did say you’re from Galar.” Hau said and I nodded, still not knowing when was the right time to speak.
Hau talked more about how interesting Galar is. Especially dynamax, he even asked me if Galvantula could dynamax, which I nodded, of course, as a champion back in the day I had to or else I’d get clapped by my opponents.
Hau’s eyes widened even more, as if that was possible. “Can you battle with me? I want to see it really bad.” Hau said, almost yelling trying to contain his excitement. I smiled “okay” his smile grew bigger at my words.
We went outside. The sun was setting, crickets were chirping, birds were saying their last good nights before drifting off to sleep, the air was humid and warm, I enjoyed it a lot more than Galar. Galar was so dull compared to Alola.
Hau led me to a grassy field, I could see the splash of colors the golden hour gave the overgrown grass in the area. The small insects flying in the air looking like little pixies. It was enchanting.
Hau sent out his Decidueye and I of course sent out my Galvantula. “You wanna see a Z-move?” Hau asked and I nodded. I’ve heard about zmoves a few times, Alola wasn’t spoken of a lot unless it was honeymoons.
Hau started making movements in sync with his Decidueye, it was kind of mesmerizing seeing them being so calm and focused on the energy between the two. I suddenly start smelling flowers, the breeze felt so nice mf cool against my skin. Decidueye was surrounded by some sort of energy and charged at Galvantula. Leaving behind petals and flowers after the impact.
“Okay!” Hau rubbed his hands together “dynamax!” He ordered, he was so excited. I pulled out my pokeball and it practically sucked Galvantula in. I could feel the pokeball get heavier as it got bigger instantly, once it was done growing I threw it behind myself. Out came a dynamaxed Galvantula. Hau must’ve underestimated how huge he would end up being.
Hau was pale as a ghost and all I could do was laugh. I didn’t think it would be fair making any moves on Hau’s poor Decidueye so I let Galvantula stay there as Hau looked wide eyed at my gigantic bug.
It felt great getting into my old hobbies again, it felt like I just regained a huge part of myself after this. Galvantula shrink back to its normal size again. I got Galvantula back into its pokeball again as I went into Hau’s direction after he called back Decidueye. His smile quickly faded with a quick glance behind me, then he started cowering.
I turned around, a boy with a white beanie, bandana covering his mouth and baggy black clothes approached. I did see similarities to him and grunts from team yell, that was back in Galar.
I crossed my arms. I might’ve been shut in my room for a very long time but I didn’t care. I felt protective of Hau, especially when he was standing behind me appearing to be hiding from the guy who was approaching.
“Yo yo yo.” The guy waved his arms, I still stood between him and Hau, my chin was up. I wanted to seem that I wasn’t afraid of him.
“Hand over your Pokémon.” My arms were still crossed. I didn’t utter a word, that was until the little guy got frustrated and started threatening us. I didn't feel afraid of him at all, it only made me more protective.
“Hand em over. Or else..” his voice was trembling but raised, I lifted an eyebrow.
“Or what?” I spat. I didn’t want to make belittling remarks, even though it was very tempting, because even if he was slightly taller he still looked really young.
Even though he looked a bit taken aback by my refusal he persisted. “I’ll tell my boss.” I immediately felt Hau pulling me from the back of my shirt. I glanced at the little boy who had tears in his eyes, shaking his head rapidly trying to get me to stop.
I had no idea what I was dealing with but Hau sure did and it didn’t look great. I backed off but the grunt wouldn’t let up. It provoked me enough to kick his knee and ran off with Hau. While the team skull grunt was roaring in pain on the grass.
When we got away, far enough to know that we weren’t being followed Hau turned to me.
“Why did you do that?” He said between breaths. I shrugged in response “I got mad.” Was my only reply. Hau didn’t seem too angry about what happened, but more relieved nothing escalated beyond me just kicking his knee.
“Did you know…” Hau started when we caught our breaths. “Hala actually used to teach the leader of team skull. Something happened though, I’m not sure what.” Hau said catching up to my pace as we walked back to Hala’s place. The sun was already set, leaving behind warm yellows and oranges in the sky before it turning dark.
Hala was waiting outside, I recalled that neither Hau or I told him we went out. I was a bit afraid that Hala was gonna get mad at me, but he just let out a relieved sigh and approached us. Even from a distance I could hear his sandals clapping against his heels by every step.
“Where did you go? I’ve been looking everywhere for you two.” He said, I felt bad for making him worried, especially since it was my first day here. My lips quivered, and as soon as I opened my mouth to apologize for our misbehavior, Hau spoke up for the two of us.
“I’m sorry pops. Alice just wanted to show me her Pokémon dynamax.” I looked at the younger boy, stunned. He wasn’t afraid to admit the truth or speak up, unlike me who had trouble with such things. I wish I was able to talk smoothly and not feel like things were awkward whenever I had to speak.
“One of Guzma’s grunts showed up.” Hala’s eyebrows furrowed and his eyes widened slightly. I could tell from how he reacted, this was serious. Hala’s gaze turned to me, worries started to fog any rational thinking.
I’m gonna get sent home. My parents are gonna be so disappointed in me. Holy shit. Fuck. It’s my first day here and I’m already causing trouble. I’m so stupid. I shouldn’t have done that.
Hala put a hand on my shoulder. Despite him placing it gently my whole body still recoiled by the impact. I couldn’t look him in the eyes.

Note
what are your choices for element accent colors
here's mine
fire: shades between red, orange and yellow
earth: shades between orange and brown
electricity: yellow, straight up
wood/nature: green with some amount of brown
ice: ranging between cyan and white
water: deep blue to indigo
wind: purple, assuming greens, blues or yellows aren't already taken
darkness: black with some purple or red
light: white with light blue or gold
Accent colors? These seem more like predominant/main colors than they are accent colors. Like an accent color would just be something on the trim that contrasts the main colors. A very small amount compared to the main colors that just give that extra POP!
With fire for example, the main colors should be reds, oranges, and yellows. Very warm colors to represent fire and heat. As a small accent color, usually I would go with a bright gold, but that is if I am just using mainly orange and reds. If I am using all three of those colors then I think a purple that is still warm but leaning towards the cooler side would be nice.
Earth: Main colors would be browns, greens, and some of the more muted oranges. I think a strong bright yellow or red could be a good accent for this palette.
Electricity: Yellow for the main color, but maybe a blue or white for the accent colors. OR, you can have the main color be a very dark blue or purple, even just a charcoal or black. And the accent color could be a very bright yellow.
Wood/Nature: I was thinking earth was this. This and earth are the same for me. I guess with this added section I would change earth to some silvers/greys and have those accents be red/oranges. Making earth kinda look like magma but not as fire-y. Wood/nature will get the description I gave for earth from above.
Ice: Main colors being a lighter blue with darker green-blues as a secondary color. White would be the accent Possibly some very minute pinks can be added to this palette I think.
Water: Green-blues for the main colors. Maybe a gradient into a deep sea green. A water pattern with some light teal and hints of light purples/violets could be nice (very light hints of the purple). A layer of just dark blue or an average blue over the deep green-blues could be nice (I am thinking of these colors as wizards for some reason, so like an under robe with the deep sea green-blues and an upper robe/cloak with the dark solid blue).
Wind: It's hard to think of wind for colors. Usually I think blue, but that's from Avatar the Last Airbender I think lol. I also think just going with light greys and whites, maybe silvers would be good for main colors. Then you can have accents of very light, pastel colors. I'm mainly thinking of mixing warm and cool colors on the red and blue side. So reds, purples, and blues. Mainly leaning towards reds and purples, maybe some oranges and some blues. All of these very light pastels and in patterns that are broken up, no solid colors (like wisps of winds or fallen leaves).
Darkness: Depends really on the vibe you want. Cold darkness? Dark blues as the main with purples and greens as accents. Suffocating darkness? Very dark cool grey/black with the tiniest hints of dark colors. Probably like a very dark red. Just keeping the colors dark, not really having that high contrast is what you would want for darkness.
Light: Basically the opposite of darkness. Which would basically be what I explained for wind lol. Maybe wind can keep what I said but just have all the colors be matte colors. Light on the other hand is a dark silver that reflects all kinds of light. Basically think of those holographic fabrics used for skirts, jackets, and bags.
But yea. It all really depends on the vibe you want to go for. Like with water, I was going for like a swamp or deep ocean vibe. But you can also go with a waterfall or crystal clear lake vibe, which would be more of light blues, whites, and maybe some moss greens. You can change the accents to show different feelings and effects while still having a cohesive theme.
3 nature/wood characters could show off something like fruits and berries, flowers, or trees just based on their accents (as well as pattern/designs). As long as you keep the main colors the same or at least similar, you can have fun with the accents and still make them all look related to nature/wood.
Accents are just supposed to be hints in a design, not take up the whole piece. It's why they are called accents and not main colors/primary colors (primary colors as in the most prominent, not as in red/yellow/blue).
#eritalks#noart#asks#these color accents are just my opinion#you can do whatever you want#just look at t/atiana#she had very limited red on her for the most part#but that was to hint to her connection to fire#that was revealed later on#it was an accent of red#not the main focus of the design

Chapter 3: Settling In And Soaring High
At Ramone’s Fashion and Paint Shop
“Alright they’re ready!” Sally shouted from the dressing room.
She had just finished helping the girls get dressed in their new clothes that Ramone had made for them. After him and the others had gotten a chance to get to know the girls and decided to make something that best fits the crusaders’ personalities.
“Well then.. What are you waiting for let’s see them.” Lightning shouted back into the closed curtains.
Seconds later Applebloom stepped out first. Wearing a sleeveless blue plaid shirt, blue jean shorts, and brown faux leather material stitched design casual knee high cowboy boots, and a M&F western twister wool cowboy hat. Good thing her mother’s ribbon hadn’t fallen off when they entered this world so Sally had tied it into a tails down bow.
“What da ya’ll think?”
Applebloom did a pose with her hand on her hip while the other holding up her hat.
“You look ok.”
Sarge gave a small shrug, while everyone else applauded her.
“Thanks ya’ll!”
She stepped off to the side giving Sweetie Belle her time in the spotlight she stepped out the dressing room. Wearing a white sleeveless mini dress with a lime green bow, light purple leggings, light purple zip side wedge boots, and a lime green glitter headband.
“How do I look?”
Sweetie Belle shyly gave a small pose holding her hands behind her back.
“You look fabulous.”
Ramone and the others applauded her and Sweetie Belle smiled moving next to Applebloom,
“Alright Scootaloo you're up! Let's see what you got!”
Lightning shouts into the dressing room and Scootaloo steps out. She's wearing an orange sleeveless T-shirt that Ramona had also cut holes in the backs for Scootaloo’s wings, a mid wash contrast jersey sleeve denim jacket to hide her wings, blue jeans, converse black classic high top sneakers, and a grey slouchy beanie.
“Well. What do ya say?”
Scootaloo gives a pose her fist up in the air and her other on her hip.
“You look awesome Scootaloo.”
Lightning and the others applauded them as they show of their new looks one more time.
. . .
Now that the girls have gotten a few lessons in how the human world works. Some new clothes to wear as well, and finally decided to tell the rest of the town about them. All that left is to decide who the girls will be staying. It took a while but Doc had decided that the girls should stay with him the first night just to get settled in. Then Applebloom will be staying with Sarge, much to his dislike, Sweetie Belle with Ramone, and Scootaloo with Lightning. So far everything looked all good, they’ve taken care of everything that needed to be done...That is...until Scootaloo asked one little question that caught everyone off guard.
“So..This is all cool and stuff. But when can I get started on my flying practice?”
Scootaloo was sitting at a table inside Flo’s V8 Cafe giving Lightning and Doc a bored look. At a loss for words they haven't even given the thought that a pegasus would not want to be stuck on the ground all day.
“Well..Scootaloo ya see we have a lot of people that visit own town quite often. And we don’t think it’s a good idea for you to be flying around. The wrong person might see you.”
Doc and the others have already explained to them what might happen if more people find out that they’re magical, talking, multi-colored ponies from an alternate world. And the thought of being taken off to some lab and experimented on...didn’t sound to fun in the girl's mind. But still Scootaloo didn't like the thought of being grounded during their entire stay here, especially for who knows how long they’ll even be here. And Scootaloo needed to practice her flying or else she’ll go stir crazy. Everyone paused to think for a moment...suddenly an idea popped into Lightning’s head.
“I got the an idea! What if Scoots goes flying at night around Willy’s Butte. It’s the perfect place and no one else will be able to see her because it’s so dark. And if they do they’ll think she’s a bird flying around. And I’ll be there to keep an eye on her to make sure nothing bad happens.”
Doc put a hand to his chin in thought.
His plan sounds possible, the fact no one will be able to she her, and Lightning standing guard keeping watch. It seems like the a pretty solid plan.
Doc was instantly snapped out of his thoughts when he found Scootaloo kneeling down in front of him, hands out front in a begging manner, and giving him the biggest puppy dog eyes imaginable. Unable to resist the sheer cuteness of it all smiled
“Sounds like the perfect plan…”
Doc was stopped mid sentence when Scootaloo jumped in his arms giving him a great big hug.
“Thank You Thank You Thank You Thank You Thank You!!!"
. . .
The sun set and the moon's now high in the sky. An excited Scootaloo cannot wait to get out, stretch her wings and finally teach herself how to fly.
“ Come on come on hurry up! I wanna get all the time I can flying!”
“Alright alright. Just let me get my jacket.”
Lightning grabbed his jacket from the bed and slipped it on, locked his door and the two head off to Willy’s Butte.
. . .
It’s been three hours already and Scootaloo still could not get herself off the ground. Lightning had automatically assumed that she already knew how to fly...Boy was he wrong. For the past three hours Scootaloo had done nothing but fall flat on her face..quite literally. Covered in cuts and bruises Scootaloo was stomping the ground, kicking dirt and rocks everywhere, pretty much throwing a tantrum right there in front of him. Then she plopped down next to a rock pulled her legs up close and started crying.
That’s it!
Lightning got up from his spot and walked over to Scootaloo kneeling down in front of her
“ Hey there Scoots you ok?”
Sob Sob…
“Aw Come on Scoots you’re not giving up are you? I thought you wanted to fly? Do you really think you’ll achieve anything by giving up every time you get frustrated?”
“...”
“You can do it if you really try.”
She looked up at him and he held out both hands
“Come on squirt. Give it another go.”
She took his hands and he lifted her up, wiping away her tears she put on a determined face and took a deep breath, opening up her wings at first getting nowhere.
“You got this Scoots! Don’t give up!”
Scootaloo looks back at him for a second she could of swore she saw Rainbow Dash standing right there turning back looking up at the sky.
This is what I want. I can’t give up,opening up her wings.
I won’t give up.flapping hard.
I won’t give in, floating off the ground.
I won’t back down, closing her eyes.
Not now. Not when I’m so close. I can’t stop. I won’t stop. I can do this. I believe in myself. I have faith in myself. I trust in myself. I trust in my heart. I’ve got the power. This is it. This is my goal. This is my dream. Everything I’ve worked so hard for. Is all for this.
Scootaloo slowly opened her eyes, looking down at Lightning she was at least 30 feet high in the sky.
“YAY! ALRIGHT SCOOTALOO YA DID IT!!!”
Lightning shouted high in the sky cheering on Scootaloo eyes widen beaming with pride Scootaloo exploded
“AWWWW YEAAAAH!!!”
shooting through the sky, and soaring up higher. Feeling that she’s finally broken free from her cage. Spreading her wings out wide and soaring, finally flying.
I’ve done it. I’ve finally done it. Lightning if it wasn’t for you I would have given up..
flying down into his arms Thank you Lightning. Thank you.

Add Sophistication and Elegance to Your Living Room With a Magenta Living Room Design
Add Sophistication and Elegance to Your Living Room With a Magenta Living Room Design using magenta to decorate your living room can be a great way to add sophistication and elegance to your space. This color provides warmth on the surface and can stand out more against other colors or neutral elements. If you have a magenta sofa, you can also use other bold colors to accent it, such as white, black, and cream. Just remember that you want the living room magenta sofa to stand out, so you'll need to choose the right furniture to match it.
Vibrant
A vibrant magenta living room design adds a hint of sophistication and elegance to a room. The color is rich and warm on the surface, and it will draw attention to the magenta sofa. To balance the vibrant color, pair it with neutral elements, such as white or beige. The magenta sofa should be the main focus of the room, but it can also be a contrasting accent color for other items.
The walls of this vibrant magenta living room design are a cool grey with pops of Magenta. Accents of stormy blue, green teal, and hot pink add a pop of color. A magenta lamp shade and a soft blue rug make this bold living room design look regal. The bold magenta accent color can create a dazzling effect in any room. Here are some tips to create an elegant magenta living room design:
Using the vibrant color magenta in your living room design can bring a vibrant and playful air to the room. Often mistaken for a shade of purple or pink, magenta can create a warm and playful ambiance in interior spaces. The color is often mistakenly referred to as fuchsia, and although they are similar in the RGB color model, they are two different colors in the design world.
This purple living room features a sunburst mirror over a fireplace. The L-shaped sofa is complemented by a glass coffee table and a geometric rug. A colorful wall framed with flower art adds depth and character to this living room design. A stylish glass coffee table adds a splash of color to this living room design. A gray area rug and white-framed windows complete the look.
Intense
If you are looking to add some sophistication and elegance to your living room, then intense magenta is the right choice for you. This color has striking energy that adds drama to a space. If you have a magenta sofa, you can make it stand out even more than the rest of the furniture. But remember that it is not suitable for every room, so be sure to balance it with neutral elements such as gray and white.
For those who do not want to use a whole lot of magenta living room, you can always pick a small amount and add it to a wall or other accents. This color is also good for decorating bedrooms. If you use it on the walls, you will give the illusion of a bigger space. Intense magenta walls will visually widen the room and will look great against darker shades. You can also decorate your room accessories in magentas, such as pillows and curtains. The vibrant hue of magenta can be used in many rooms, including the living room and kitchen. This color can be combined with other colors to create a warm color palette. Tobie Lewis, Senior Brand Manager for Valspar Paint, says that magenta can also be used in a kitchen or large open-plan space. If you're looking to add some energy to a living room, magenta will add the necessary punch.
Elegant
When done correctly, an elegant magenta living room design is very striking. Its warm tone provides a beautiful contrast to neutral colors and is the perfect color choice for an accent wall. To achieve the best effect, use a magenta sofa in a room with neutral tones to highlight it. However, when selecting the colors of the rest of your furnishings, it is important to consider the room's style and color scheme to make the final result look as elegant and sophisticated as possible.
For a more subdued, yet still striking living room design, try combining bold colors. Try a magenta and fuchsia combination in your living room. Consider a two-toned sofa to balance the bold colors. You can also consider yellow accents as an alternative to magenta. A simple wall hanging or a piece of art can tie the colors together. Keep the decor simple and elegant, and your room will look great!
If saturated pink is too much for your living room, you can opt for other shades of blue. A desert orange paint scheme is a great choice because it can help chase away the blues. Opt for a soft, muted version to balance the saturated pink. Incorporating a daybed or an upholstered daybed will transform the room into a magical space. Add a large black and white framed print for the finishing touch. Add a city slicker hot pink side table from CB2.
If you're decorating for a baby girl, you might be wondering what kind of color scheme you should choose. The answer is both, but there are some key things to remember. You can incorporate magenta into your formal living room design, as well as in the kitchen and bathroom. Make sure to pair it with neutral shades of brown, white, and black to create a warm and inviting palette. You'll also want to include some contrasting colors in the living room, including white and cream.
Fun
The color magenta lends elegance and sophistication to your living room. The warmth that it gives to the surface helps your furnishings stand out. If you're going for a bold look, consider purchasing a magenta sofa and combining it with other neutral elements. The key to a stunning magenta living room design is balance, so it's best to stick to neutral colors for everything else in your room.
The color magenta is a combination of pink and purple and is very vibrant. The color is often referred to as fuchsia. While they are the same color in the RGB web color model, they are very different colors when it comes to living room interior design. For this reason, many designers separate magenta from fuchsia, which is the most common shade of this color in interior design.

For 1: it depends. I am often Drawn to minimalist palettes like neutrals but I love when there are really high quality mixed media textures.
I feel that to be colorful is to be anti fascist so it’s important to me to bring play and color back in somehow. Maybe with rainbow chucks or accessories?
I am a musician and I like soft things, but they can’t be overwhelming. So like a high quality cotton grayish purple cardigan that’s not too big and not to small would make me really happy. even though I love fur texture, it quickly becomes too much to feel if that makes sense. I want to still be able to comfortably hold my guitar sitting down or standing up.
I like layers because I can remove them if I get hot. I love pastels if they are blush, cream, soft greys, or soft purples, or taupe, like I love a good off white and beige stripe lol. I love black and darker colored lace, black or any color sheer, love strappy stuff..
2: I can’t wear cool tones. They make my skin look red. I love red once in a while but it has to be a flattering shade so I don’t look like a lobster. Like neon green is a no go.
It really depends but often I like black, off white, dark green, blush, softer colors. But I love a bold pop of color sometimes. I love modern abstract art for example. And a lot of avant garde high fashion.
3: Showing skin is not really an issue. But I do really like a sheer overtop thing. Where there’s a bit of subtlety in texture. Or mystery.
Maxi dresses and skirts are beautiful but I can’t stand things tripping me or dragging the ground. MIDI makes me look short. So for dresses and skirts, probably on the shorter end most of the time.
4: I am so insecure about my relationship with being a woman. I spent so much of my life trying to avoid unwanted attention that I became black leggings grey v shirt do not perceive me-bot. But honestly, I would prefer to explore my sexy academia side. I have to feel artsy. And many days I’ll want to have some leggings on because I love being outside and stretching and wiggling and not catching my clothes on anything. But sometimes I’d like to feel like Veronica Lodge from Riverdale. Also Alice Quinn from the magicians, some of Julia’s outfits too. Or femme fatale. Just maybe pulled back a little, softer. I’m not necessarily against any of those options you listed, but I’m not the biggest suit trouser person usually. I don’t like feeling like I belong in a corporate office. I love academia style but it has to be pushed towards artsy and musician in some way.
5: it depends on my mood, but I think I like the coastal vibes, the boho vibes, the academia vibes, some goth. I want like playful soft, with mysterious edge, and intimidating, always creative and artsy. High quality textures. I care about the details.
Thank you for helping me!!!! I hope I wasn’t too off the wall!!!
I have no style identity. I’d like to figure out my “fashion”. So feel free to send over any stores or tips or fit ideas. I’m blogging fashion stuff; please be patient lol
