i think the reason Commander Cody’s character is often undersold is because his story isn’t ever told in any one story. his screentime in tcw is low, but meaningful, his appearances in comics are incredible, but overlooked, he isn’t touched on much in RotS, but his personality is still super obvious there, and he’s only in one episode of Bad Batch, but he quite literally changed the entire course of the season with his short amount of time. all of it is rich and shows how much he cares about the people around him and that’s what makes him such a great character. he doesn’t need hours of time to make a difference in the other characters around him, he does that naturally no matter what

And he only remembered he was Ben Tennyson when he was 21.

the thing about Commander Cody that makes me so absolutely insane is not just how shockingly kind he is- it’s the fact that he’s so kind and tender even though he was never afforded that growing up.

like, none of the clones were, obviously, but Cody even as an Imperial does nothing but talk in gentle tones to citizens and reassured them that he’s only trying to help and does every single thing he POSSIBLY can to avoid bloodshed.

Even With Separatists.

he was never demonstrated with that level of kindness until far, far into his life, and yet it’s his core trait. he’s a good person to the bone and he did that by himself. it’s incredible. he truly does embody the Sun despite growing up on a planet that always rains.

I was thinking about another trollge oc and I thought about an artist trollge and that whoever looks at him, depending on the person, would be able to see a horrific monstrosity but in reality he doesn't have a face but idk if he should be an artist

Honestly I think 'looking at them, each person sees a different mosnter' mixed with an artist is a really cool idea, especially for metaphors like the trollge is just as flexible to others' eyes as is its artstyle and etc. I'd say keep it in if u want :D.

i’ve seen people post their reworked fics like new and i’ve also seen them just edit them where they’re already posted and then leave a note so if anyone has any advice on the process/anything about it please lmk

my favorite thing about social media and ao3 (sarcasm) is that there are no standardized tags for OCs (or people just don't use them), so I have to filter out every possible combination I can think of
