Built this because I thought that the Goths needed an elegant neighbourhood bistro to dine out at when they got bored of their butler’s cooking but don’t want to go all the way downtown.

A Blue Velvet Renovation

Willow Creek's renowned Blue Velvet bar was in need of a bit of renovation. And Willow Creek was in need of a restaurant for family dinner or date night.

After an eternity, the new Blue Velvet showed itself: colorful and a bit more modern looking, the place is now a restaurant with a cafe on the side, and a shared courtyard with the original fountain in place!

No CC. The café is not functional (I tried hiring a barista with not result!) since this is a restaurant.

New Year, New Save File ✨

Simkhira’s Small Town Save File is inspired by my little hometown in Southeast, USA. For this save, I wanted to create a world that caters to all of my favorite gameplay styles (country core, university core, legacy core, etc.) in a nostalgic way that made sense to me. Over the past couple of months, I have been able to transform Willow Creek into something that I am really proud of. I hope you all enjoy the lots, the backstories, and the small town political lore just as much as I do.

This save file contains 1GB worth of custom content. I have included these files in the download to save any hassle. If the game opens and says you are missing content, no you are not. I have play-tested this save file using only the files included and did not find any issues.

How to Install Save Files:

Make a backup of your “Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Saves” folder.

Download the file, unzip, and place the file in your “Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Saves” folder.

If you already have a file with the same name, change the slot number to a number that you don’t have. (i.e. change Slot_00000000d.save to Slot_00000009d.save)

Once you open your game, you will see “Simkhira’s Small Town Save V1”. Open it!

Once opened, “Save As” to create a copy of the save file for your own gameplay.

If the game says that you are missing custom content, no you aren’t. I have double-checked.

Lastly, enjoy and have fun!

This save file uses all EP’s, GP’s, SP’s and most of the kits (Except Sweet Slumber Party, Cozy Kitsch, Urban Homage, Goth Galore, Grunge Revival, Carnaval Streetwear and Modern Menswear kits).

What’s new in this update?:

Ciudad Enamorada and Ravenwood have been completely redone, added multiple new lots, updated other lots and provided make-overs for the households.

Added new households (when living in world; with jobs, friends, preferences etc).

Current Status of Worlds:

Finished worlds: Willow Creek, Oasis Springs, Newcrest, Magnolia Promenade, Windenburg, San Myshuno, Forgotten Hollow, Brindleton Bay, Del Sol Valley, StrangerVille, Glimmerbrook, Sulani, Britechester , Evergreen Harbor, Mt. Komorebi, Henford-on-Bagley, Tartosa, Moonwood Mill, Copperdale, San Sequoia, Chestnut Ridge, Tomarang, Ciudad Enamorada (NEW!) and Ravenwood (NEW!).

Finished vacation worlds: Granite Falls and Selvadorada.

Finihed other lots: Hospital, Science Lab and the Police Station.

To be updated: the Magic Realm and Grimm's office, will either be included in a future update or on the gallery (OriginID: fleuralia)

What do you get with this save?:

For my save file all lots are either completely new builds (almost all) or renovations, ofcourse created by me. Exception: I have added the official build for the release of the Paranormal SP by Dr Ashley to this save. This build is therefore not my own creation, credits are given in the description to Dr Ashley. The lots in newer worlds are largely created by GameChangers. The ratio is around 50/50 with my builds versus renovations (done by me but with the original as the base).

All the townies had make-overs plus I added new families to spice it up a bit. Some of the townies are made by other creators, who are given credits in the description of the household. All the townies in the different worlds have a story, some include sentiments and adjusted relationships to the story.

Added plenty of community lots to give your Sims something to do (YAY!). Almost every world has one restaurant, but it also includes festivals that represent the four seasons (park lots) and a fully functional shopping street in Magnolia Promenade (toy store, bridal store and more).

I have added rental lots so you can go on vacation in more worlds. For example in Sulani, Willow Creek and Windenburg.

Other details:

As mentioned at the beginning, this save uses almost all packs (except some kits). This means that if you download it without owning or installing most of the packs a lot of objects will disappear from the save, but if you are not bothered by this you can still download and play in it.  

I disabled the neigborhood action plan voting/environmental changes, you enable them again in the pack settings menu. I also disabled the neigborhood stories, you can enable them again in the household menu.

I would love to add some households in this save created by all of you! Add your household under the hashtag #fleuraliatownies in The Sims 4 Gallery, you can add a storyline and world in the description but thats not obligatory. If I respond on your creation it means that I have incorporated it in the save for the next update.

Sadly every game update comes with a lot of bugs. I suggest before reporting problems in the save to me, to check on forums if its related to a general bug/glitch or to mods (if you use them).

As said in my previous post I will be slowly starting on moving the builds and sims to a fresh save to help with bugs and incorporate fixes from the Sims team that only work in fresh saves (like Grimm not being able to woohoo). But this will take me some time, when its nearly done I will update on here as always.

How to make it work in your game:

Download the save file from the link below.

Drag it in your saves folder under: PC/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves.

Change the numbers if you already have a save with the same name.

It should now show up in your game as: Fleuralia Save V 8.0.

Merlotte's Bar & Grill

With True Blood being one of my all time favorite shows, I thought it was only fitting I built Merlotte's. When we received The Sims 4 Werewolves Moonwood Mill had the perfect ambiance for the busy restaurant . It also looks quite well in Willow Creek since it does represent Louisiana.

This Building offers a functional restaurant as well as Sam's Trailer . This Lot can function alone as a restaurant or a live in business with Little Miss Sam's live in business mod.

so, i've been working on a save file since march of this year and while i'm not even close to being done i still wanted to put just a little taste of it out into the world! so here is version 1 of my save file!

i've decided to just put out willow creek and magnolia promenade in this version and wait for the new pack the sims 4 for rent to put out oasis springs and newcrest simply bc i have "fake" apartments in them and thought it'd be best to wait for the new EP so that then they will be real apartments! :)

here you'll find 39 new townies (not including pets!) 25 new lots which includes 10 households, 10 community lots and 5 empty houses! willow creeks park got a BIG renovation! it now has blooming flowers and a nice wedding spot! underneath it you'll find everything you need for a wedding party!

for the community you'll find a gym, nightclub, library and a mall with little park area. all the empty homes are literally empty for more realism but there are 2 cute furnished starter homes aswell :)

in magnolia promenade you'll find a lovely bakery owned by the little family in wc. a cafe, a restaurant (owned by a family coming soon!) and a karaoke bar which is also a bowling alley (named after my bestie who loves a good bowling alley)

DISCLAIMER MY SAVE USES MOST IF NOT ALL PACKS i apologize for this but i didn't wanna limit myself while making this. i do one day want to make a base game save aswell

how to install: open your downloads folder unzip my save then go to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\saves and plop the save file right in! remember to back up your saves just incase. when you open your game you should see a save like this!

then all you need to do is enjoy a new fresh willow creek and magnolia promenade :)
