Though one of the moments I love but it irritates me of how people will see this moment and thinks "oh he doesn't care at all" which is not true he knows very well how capable his wife is able to take care of herself it may seem cold demeanor but that's only cause how SP interpreted it plus you can clearly see how he's frowning worried expression that is something SP doesn't show

So I wanted to compare Sarada's looks (with and without glasses) to Sakura and Karin's just to see how consistent Kishimoto's art of the three of them to compare them better.
Here's images of the three of them looking stunned. I found an edit of Sarada without her glasses and her eyeshape resembles Sakura's more in my opinion.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here's Karin, Sakura and Sarada as kids without glasses and once again I feel her eyeshape resembles Sakura's more. However, I don't think Sarada looks like child Sakura at all
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here's Sarada, Karin and Sakura frowning. Sakura and Sarada are also crying.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also it was brought to my attention by @shadywonderlandcloud that Sakura, for some fucking reason, used to dress small Sarada just like adult Karin dresses. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK???????
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Keep in mind that Sakura also changed her style once she came back to Konoha to raise Sarada. And it looks kinda similar to the way Karin used to dress. I discuss it a bit more here
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We had also discussed in the comment section of my Is Sarada a Clone post, that the title Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring referenced Sarada being sort of a child of both women in some way, Scarlet due to Karin's Uzumaki appearance and Spring representing Sakura due to the cherry blossoms that simbolize spring in Japan.
I'd love to hear y'all thoughts on all of this.

The Role of Sarada Uchiha in “Boruto: Two Blue Vortex”
Tumblr media
The importance of Sarada Uchiha in the series has undergone significant changes throughout the series, and it is important to highlight three key stages in the development of her character.
These three stages have been outlined by the two main writers of the series, Kishimoto and Kodachi.
1st Stage: Kishimoto's Introduction
Let's remember that Sarada and Boruto were the first two characters of the new generation whose foundations and relationship were established by Kishimoto. He presents both characters as a duality that marks the beginning of the series. Through their childhood fights and encounters, a complex friendship is shown that reveals the true character and desires of both characters, who carry important legacies on their shoulders and have big dreams in their hearts. This stage covers from...
The last chapter of Naruto Ch. 700; Boruto: The Movie; Boruto: The Movie (Novel); Naruto: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring; the 5 novels of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations; Sasuke Shinden: Shitei no Hoshi; Naruto Shinden: Oyako no Hi
2nd Stage: Kodachi's Era
Kodachi takes control of the manga and begins its serialization based on the foundations established by Kishimoto, respecting his canon and, at the same time, incorporating his own script into the story. We continue to see Sarada's important interactions with Boruto, as well as her own development. Her climax comes during the fight against Boro, but suddenly her role is relegated to simply being Boruto's team mate until she disappears from the manga, becoming a recurring character. Sarada's last appearance under Kodachi's direction is in Chapter 44 of the manga.
Tumblr media
3rd Stage; 2nd Era of Kishimoto:
Starting from Chapter 52, Kishimoto takes over the complete writing of the manga, closing Kodachi's storylines and introducing characters that would change the direction of the story. It is from Chapter 69 where Kishimoto reintroduces Sarada and gradually restores her importance as one of the pillars of the plot, thus regaining her initial relevance in the development of the story.
It is important to highlight that Sarada is reintroduced into the narrative with a clear desire: to be an important support for Boruto, someone he can trust and rely on. Sarada doesn't want her best friend to bear all the burden on his shoulders and longs to be capable of protecting him. From a young age, they have always been there for each other unconditionally. Kishimoto presents us again with the duality between both characters, and it is in Chapter 79 where everything finally makes sense. Sarada is destined to save the protagonist, breaking Momoshiki's prophecy and giving Boruto a second chance, putting herself in a vulnerable position within the village. Sarada, the daughter of the traitor (she is the one who begs Sasuke to save Boruto), is seen as a rebel who supports the enemy. Combined with the history of her clan, Sarada is excluded and degraded to a Genin.
By now, you may be wondering: Does Sarada's character depend on Boruto? Well, the answer was mentioned before: Kishimoto set up Sarada and Boruto as a duality, two characters that feed off each other and whose individual storylines have points of connection, basically an analogy of Yin & Yang. The franchise makes many references to Japanese folklore tales and Shinto and Buddhist mythology of Japan, so it shouldn't surprise fans.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Boruto & Sarada Their eyes tell a story that the most powerful jutsu even couldn't erase… A love story"
Its Sarada's POV that opens the story of "Boruto: Two Blue Vortex." Sarada is immune to omnipotence because that's what Kishimoto needs for the writing. Sarada is the only living witness (besides Eida and the own Boruto) to the entire life story of Boruto. They grew up together and have formed a very complex but important bond of love. Boruto reappears to protect Sarada from Code without her asking him to, he came and stood in front to take care of her because both would give their lives to protect each other. And take note that this will be a critical point in the plot and something that has been building since the beginning of the series.
On the other hand, Eida and Daemon begin to suspect Sarada and Sumire due to Sarada's insistence on uncovering how to reverse the jutsu and understanding Eida's powers. We know how dangerous Daemon can be if he considers them a threat to his sister, or if Eida personally asks Daemon to kill them.
We must not forget that Sarada is an Uchiha. This conditions and enriches her character, making her a user of one of the most powerful and legendary dojutsus in the series: the Mangekyou Sharingan. Although the Mangekyou does not reach the level of shinjutsu or karma, it is a dojutsu of divine lineage that can bring about significant plot twists. It can grant space-time abilities, high-level genjutsus such as Kotoamatsukami and Tsukuyomi, the divine weapons of Susanoo, and even partially alter reality. It may not reach the level of karma or shinjutsu, but she has a very dangerous weapon in her hands that will eventually be decisive in the narrative.
Tumblr media
We must not forget Sarada's psychoemotional context; she is intelligent, cunning, determined, is a leader and highly educated, she wants to be the Hokage, she wants to protect the people she loves & Konoha, but she is still an Uchiha. Her bloodline carries a great weight in her emotions, making her irritable and reactive. She is deeply affected by everything that has happened in the past three years: Sasuke is being hunted, so her family is separated again, Boruto is unjustly condemned as a criminal and deserter because of Omnipotence, the seventh, her role model, is presumed “dead”, and she has been ostracized. She lives in a world blinded by a false reality, the perfect cocktail to build a story of drama, power, and love, befitting the heir of the Uchiha Clan.

I remember your name is reference to Shikamaru lol then i remember i watch Naruto when i was a kid (Not really watch all the episodes at the time, i just watch it when i am so bored and can't find anything on the TV, and it's rare i watch the TV, also just watch 360p mostly naruto fights lol) then i watch fully Boruto series in my middleschool
What would you think of Boruto (the series)
For me, the plot is okay ig (I like the concept of Naruto lose everything at the beginning but he will get everything while Boruto do the opposite but the lore is just make more confusing with otsutsuki ig, like it's cool but why it's have to be op aliens lmao), i just have issues with it but i kinda not vocal about it cause it's not too important to hate it too much (I just let the lore do it's things whether i hate it or not) but i get emotional attached to Boruto's characters like Boruto itself (he is my son /delusional), Mitsuki, Himawari, Sumire, Inojin and Shikadai.
I guess i love the concept cause i am angst lover i just can't escape it
I haven't seen much of Boruto tbh, so I don't have any significant thoughts to offer.
The only thing I really decided to watch was Boruto: Naruto the Movie, which iirc was back when Naruto Shippuden was still on air. I liked it a lot, though in retrospect that could be more because of the Naruto nostalgia factor (like the Naruto+Sasuke vs Momoshiki fight referencing past fights in the series, using soundtracks from Part 2/Shippuden as opposed to Naruto the Last using Part 1 soundtracks, the fucking father-son Rasengan scene) rather than... well, Boruto itself.
I also read The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring and... it was okay, I guess? Again, it felt like the stuff I liked about it was more Naruto oriented than Boruto oriented.
As for other arcs, I just mostly saw clips here and there. The ones I remember top of mind... the one where Himawari befriends Shukaku, Kurama's death... time travel arc... and then some random scenes I came across on Youtube. I didn't seek it out otherwise.
I do understand things have gone spectacularly pear-shaped and Boruto's now a fugitive... so there's that?

My interpretation of the canon timeline: Uchiha Sarada is born at Uzumaki Karin's hideout on 31st March, 3 days after her biological mum Uchiha née Haruno Sakura's 22nd birthday; Uchiha Sasuke turns 22 years old on 23rd July of the year when his bio daughter Sarada was born; the Uchiha family returns to Konohagakure; Sasuke and Sakura help 2-year-old Sarada learn how to walk; Naruto becomes Hokage in the time between Sarada's 4th & 5th birthdays; shortly after Sarada's 6th birthday, Sasuke leaves on his secret Kaguya investigation mission and Sarada the next day asks Sakura 'bout his whereabouts; Sarada becomes ill a month after Sasuke left and her eyesight deteriorates due to the illness; Sarada a week after getting eyeglasses (a month and a week after her papa left) asks 'bout Sasuke's whereabouts again and gets poked on the forehead by Sakura who reassures her that Sasuke is away because he's protecting them; many months after Sarada's 11th birthday, 'Naruto Gaiden: the Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring' (2015) happens; a few weeks after Gaiden, Sarada goes on on school trip to Kirigakure (thus School Trip Bloodwind Records happens); a few weeks after the school trip, (Last Day at the Ninja Academy happens therefore) Sarada graduates from school thus becoming a genin on January of the year she'll turn age 12; a month after Sarada's 12th birthday, the Boruto movie happens; a

I in no way ship Sakura and Sasuke but I love their little family?
Idk I love Sarada and I’m obsessed with the idea that Sakura and Sasuke are kinda just supporting each other and in each other’s lives even if it’s not a romantic way.
I like them being really close friends and being a shoulder to lean on. They’ll never love each other in a romantic way, and can’t be with the people that they do love like that, so they support each other and raise their daughter together as a soft quiet family.
Idk I bought that Seventh Hokage spin-off side story that Kishi wrote as like a precursor to Boruto and it has me thinking about them

While I’m glad we finally get to see Sasuke starting next month...did we just say fuck it to an already fucked up timeline?
I already am still iffy about Boruto. I don’t like some of the characters and many things make me cringe, but there are a few points about it that keep me watching it.
The timeline is already a mess since the last chapters of Naruto, but now we’re really going to mess it up. So according to Iwabe, the fourth ninja war ended 10 years ago. Assuming everyone got pregnant at the end of the Last, that would make the kids 7, Sarada canonically doesn't meet her father until she is 11, that’s in four years. Plus it’s when they graduate the academy, not while they are just starting.
So unless the show is going to just skip forward four years in time in the next few episodes, we’re going to introduce Sasuke to everyone four years too early. Plus is Boruto going to have a role in this? Because if he does then that makes Boruto the movie obsolete, since Boruto isn’t supposed to meet Sasuke until then. Then again we already wrecked part of that by making Boruto start to understand Naruto.
Honestly though I have mixed feelings about that. I like the canon because I enjoyed the movie. However if Sasuke comes into the picture earlier, imagine all of the SSS family things we could have! Like that picnic scene that Sarada’s voice actress wanted. Or just Sarada coming home to see her Dad passing through so he stopped to have dinner with his lovely wife and daughter.
Then again, Sarada hasn’t been in the anime very much, so I doubt Sasuke and Sakura will be able to be either after he’s introduced. I’m just afraid that they’ll do the gaiden story, and then Sasuke will disappear again until the kids graduate and they decide to do an arc on the movie.
Anyone else’s thoughts?

This is the third installment of our candid interview project, where shocking remarks are commonplace (!?), only available on Gangan Online. In this final installment, the Kishimoto brothers will talk about the secrets of their work, as well as plenty of talk about "NARUTO" with the spinoff volume and the upcoming movie. Though they draw different works, the brothers share their true feelings as they are bound together by a deep bond - enjoy the "love of manga" that connects them!!
Tumblr media
The unyielding passion of the artists and the brotherly bond hidden in their work - Part 3: The unchanging "love" for manga that connects the two artists
── Now that the conversation is getting more and more interesting, I have a question for both of you who have built your careers as manga artists. When drawing manga, what do you pay the most attention to?
Seishi: It's a very basic thing, but you have to create a name that is conscious of reading material. It seems simple, but it's surprisingly difficult... However, if you can get into the character, lines that fit the story will suddenly come to mind, and words that only this character could say will flow out smoothly.
Masashi: Yes, the lines come to life. It's really important to get into the character during the storyboard phase. When I read my brother's manga, I sometimes feel that part is a bit weak. I think it could be developed a bit more. If people don't find what I've drawn interesting, it doesn't mean anything, so I often tell him to really get into the character during the storyboard phase!
Seishi: I used to get lectured a lot (laughs). It's true that back then, I was forcing myself to create works, so I might have been a bit lackluster when it came to getting into the storyboards. Compared to that, my approach to storyboarding has changed now, but... due to the nature of the work, I inevitably end up leaning towards a painful, dark mood.
Masashi: Once you get immersed, it's inevitable that your feelings will be pulled in. When I'm working on a storyboard, I get completely into the characters, so if I'm interrupted by the real world, it's tough because I have to start all over again.
── It seems like it would be difficult to regain your concentration once it's been broken.
Masashi: That's right. For example, when I answer the intercom or play with my children…it takes me a long time to get back into work mode even if my attention is diverted for just a few minutes. It is a big challenge to keep work and private time strictly separate.
── After the serialization of "NARUTO" ended, you serialized a short, concentrated series called "NARUTO Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring." What was it like writing it?
Masashi: Usually, the first episode of a story introduces an enemy character and sets up a plot that will lead to interest in what happens next, but with this spin-off we deviated from the norm in some ways.
── I was also surprised that the protagonist of the spin-off was Sarada (the daughter of Sasuke and Sakura).
Masashi: Unlike "NARUTO," there was a freshness to it. Sarada isn't really a character with a "girly" vibe, but I thought I should study women's psychology a bit, so I bought a few "How to Boost Your Femininity" books and did some research.
── (laughs) I had no idea you put in that much effort to grasp the character's psychology…
Masashi: I had intended to create a character based on what I had learned from books… but for some reason, the results of that work ended up being reflected in Chouchou (Choji's daughter) and not Sarada.
Seishi: Chouchou is a great character. This spin-off had a dark atmosphere, so I think bright characters like her are important!
Masashi: The secrets of the character's origin and all that felt a bit murky. But since the bright side characters balanced the work, it turned out well in the end. Plus, the popularity of Chouchou around me was high too.
── Speaking of female characters, Sakura's transformation into a motherly figure in the side story was also quite impressive. I felt her maternal instincts as she desperately tried to protect her beloved daughter in place of her husband (Sasuke), who couldn't return due to a mission.
Masashi: They are a couple who rarely see each other, but as Sakura says, they are truly "connected in spirit." If you read the side story to the end, you will understand the true meaning of those words, so I hope you will read it from beginning to end and truly feel the connection between Sakura and Sasuke.
── In addition to the new characters in this spin-off, we can also see familiar characters from the main story in action… this is sure to be a must-see spin-off for Naruto fans.
Masashi: Even though it was a short, concentrated serialization, there was pressure in drawing the spin-off. The main story of "NARUTO" was so popular, so I didn't want people to say that the spin-off wasn't interesting. So I was determined to make it interesting. Because if it wasn't interesting, there would be no point in drawing it.
── Along with the main story, I hope many readers will also enjoy the side stories. What did Seishi-sensei think of "NARUTO," which Masashi-sensei wrote with such a wide range of feelings?
Seishi: Even though it is my brother's work, I am one of the fans who genuinely likes “Naruto". Whenever I am asked for advice on the story, I think about it with great enthusiasm, asking myself, “What would be the most interesting way to do it? This is not only because of my opinion as a writer, but also because of my deep love for this work. "Naruto would be boring if it were ordinary, so we have to come up with a twist that would create unexpected developments that go against expectations...
Masashi: Raising the bar in front of the author, huh? (laughs).
Seishi: I had that much expectation for "NARUTO" and, above all, I really liked the work. Oh, but I'm not a fan of the author at all.
Masashi: You're annoying (laughs). But actually, when I talk to Seiji, he says things that give me hints for lines and plot developments. Like, when I'm struggling to come up with lines, he casually says something impressive over the phone. I think he was able to say these things because he really loves the work... it makes sense to me now.
Tumblr media
Seishi Kishimoto X Naruto
Since the time when Masashi-sensei first shared a rough sketch on the kotatsu (a low, wooden table frame covered by a futon) at his family home, Seishi-sensei has known about Naruto. While talking about "NARUTO," he smiled and said, "It's a work that gives me energy!" I could feel his extraordinary love for the work in those words.
── The conversation between the two of you, in which you spoke passionately about your feelings towards the work, is nearing an end. What are your thoughts on collaborating together for the first time?
Masashi: …Was this okay? (laughs)
Seishi: It really was just an extension of our normal conversations (laughs).
Masashi: I wondered how it would turn out with a third party in between, but I was glad that we were able to talk as usual without any pretense. Seishi even prepared cue cards and prepared it perfectly (laughs).
Seishi: I didn't make it (laughs)!!
Masashi: But if you read this conversation, you'll see... even when we're just chatting on the phone, we always end up talking about manga.
Seishi: From the conversation about how interesting that movie was, like the camera work and direction in that piece... I thought how we could incorporate that into a manga?
Masashi: And at the end, I gave Seishi some advice about manga. I wonder if it got through to him properly…
Seishi: I know! That's why I'm really working on a manga that won't get me lectured right now. "Sukedachi 09" has become a work I want Saishi to read.
── I'm looking forward to hearing what Masashi-sensei thinks after reading "Sukedachi 09." Lastly, could you share your future goals as a manga artist and a message for your readers?
Seishi: My goal is to “make the work interesting,” that's the only thing I can say. Masashi said a lot to me today, but no matter how much I argue, in the end, the work is everything. I want to express what I want to convey to the best of my ability by depicting the drama as well as each individual human being. I hope you will continue to support “Sukedachi 09” in the future.
Masashi: I've finished writing the Gaiden spin-off, but the movie is about to be released. I hope that readers will enjoy the spin-off in book form, and that as many readers as possible will see the movie. I know I'm bragging, but the movie is really interesting. I've also started working on a new manga, so I hope you'll look forward to that too.
── The two of you are connected by your love for manga, which has not changed since you were children. I'm looking forward to your future endeavors, and I wonder what you will convey to readers through the manga you both love so much. Thank you for today.
