Hockeyblr! I have tickets to my very first NHL game tonight, Minnesota Wild vs Seattle Kraken at Climate Pledge Arena. What do I need to know? About live pro hockey and about this arena specifically.
@youneedtolookatthis tell me your secrets.

Alright, I think it's time to admit to myself that I don't like to travel. The pressure to do stuff and see a place while having almost unlimited options and no skill at deciding what I want to do day by day means I kinda just shut down.

one of the saddest things about adulthood so far is my complete inability to travel. i just remembered being eleven years old and being completely obsessed with mapping out road trips i wanted to take and so many cities and parks and spots i wanted to visit. and i am NOT saying my life is over at 26 i havenā€™t even worked a full time job yet iā€™ve never had vacation time and there will be so many opportunities for that eventually. but i just got very sad thinking about how excited it made tween me where nowadays the idea of actually going on a trip thatā€™s not just going home for the holidays or a wedding or something hasnā€™t crossed my mind in a real way since i got my semester abroad in undergrad

okay dont get me wrong, i dont think FFXIV is a bad game, but as a long-time GW2 player, I am constantly baffled at how FFXIV is considered a superior MMO. like im still gonna play FFXIV because I am, for the most part, enjoying myself enough to justify the cost of the subscription. but damn, i really think GW2 has spoiled me.
like, the only major thing that FFXIV has a leg up on compared to GW2 is the social aspects, like going to venues or finding folks to talk to, which is one of the things the game is (in)famous for. but at that point, its not the game drawing me back in, so much as the fact that it has a large enough community to support a thriving digital nightclub scene.
