Whats your thoughts on arcane in generale? artisticly and storywise?
Getting to both of these at the same time, I believe Arcane is an artistic masterpiece in 3D animation and character design, and the story itself holds up incredibly well to the hype it gets from the animation. It's a shame it only got two seasons because a plot that complex deserved to be explored way more, but I have faith in the writer's ability to pull it off nicely even with this runtime!
The arcane as a concept (and as a whole, so, also considering its implication the league of legends magic system) is soooo fascinating i want to bite it i can't help but think it's like a cooler version of electromagnetism which is so. chomp. gnam even. holds it in my hands like a nuclear core
And I don't have theories for the latter two acts! I know how some characters end up from league lore, I can guess one person who still has to show up (Leblanc where are youuuu Leblanc!!) but that aside i'm putting down the theorising until i've properly absorbed the thing as a whole
#[.asks]#anonymous#I LOVE YOU POLITICAL INTRIGUE PLOTS!!! And i love you magical science!!#and also again i have to mention my hometown looks so much like piltover in its center its not even funny#but it unironically makes me so hastag normal about the architecture design for piltover#i look at it and im like yk this could be behind my favourite coffee place and i wouldnt even notice

IM SO CURIOUS AB YOUR RESEARCH FOR WE ROTTEN FEW
Okay so the research I did most recently was for Sanji's hand burn! I've got a terminal disease called Realistic Injury-itis, where I need to know wtf I'm talking about before I can write an injury into a fic. This is my brainstorming/research doc for it. As you can see, I've never relaxed ever in my life.
#answered#ask#we rotten few#I've got another one I'm currently working on for his side as well#and then there's the research I'm doing to flesh out the magic system#which is mostly about laws of energy and the science behind nutrition/consumption

Shout-out to the FinFin discord for being incredibly kind and welcoming! 💙
We might've already figured out a way to get "The Book of FinFin" to you all exactly how it was originally intended in terms of looks! There are folks on there who are wizards with HTML and I bow before them!
That and I'll even edit images that have German text on them to be in English but retain their original charm for the translation!
An example, the original:
the edit:
I am so excited to get to work on this with the team behind the homepage & gift us all a bit more FinFin in our lives! :>
#finfin#fin fin#fin fin teo the magic planet#as I've been reading through it once more... I think we might have some info in here that will help Wayne feed his son on stream as well#there's a whole science behind feeding FinFin!#Well more like FinFin might actually refuse to eat and/or go eat elsewhere and not touch the limo fruit you have for him#but you can also train him to only accept food from you??#it's wild#newt's ramblings#the book of finfin

I love it when I’m arguing about Native American history with someone online and they assume I’m virtue signalling or whatever and say “well what have you done for your native community other than whine online?” And I then explain to them that yeah, I have done nothing. Because I’m across a fucking ocean. I’m British and even I know more about the native people of your country than you do. And I’d like to say that that usually shuts them up but then they usually just say “why do you care then” which isn’t funny and also I care cause I’m a human person. These people out themselves as dehumanisers so quickly lmao
#I looooove looking up Native American agricultural practices dude#they had ecology down to a fucking art dude#so much so that people had to make up the myth they were magic#imagine your culture being so good at a particular science that they thought your people were wizards#(there was also other racist reasons behind why people thought they were magic not ignoring that btw)

You see Jackie is great because she has a similar appeal to me as Maxwell but she's a lesbian and also not british so she's automatically a billion times better and more interesting
#rat rambles#oni posting#starve posting#theyre very different people fundementally but the core appeal of watching a shitty guy dig themselves into deeper and deeper holes remains#bro if they met itd make maxwell so pissy he would not be ok with having someone talk down at him like jackie would#bro jackie would at best be patronizing as hell she would see him as the dirt beneath her shoes#she would not be impressed by his magic tricks at best shed be intrigued by the science behind it but she would not think hes special#now to be clear. jackie is just as pathetic as he is and would 100% die so fast in the constant#like shed get attacked by nightmare creatures so fast and if she survived that a hound would probably maul her#I do hc that at least in the past jackie was decently physically fit but even back then she was like ripped and I think if she tried to#punch something shed miss pathetically and fall over and break all of her bones#olivia is a similar case but shes more fit and probably could barely brute force her way through a few hound waves#the real difference is that olivia would be quicker to adapt and would put up a much better effort at preparing the essentials#now. she would get side tracked as hell by the wildlife. I think if you showed her a carat shed stare at it forever.#but jackie would struggle so hard to adapt and I think the isolation would get to her hard#if you put them together itd just be olivia hard carrying while jackie trips and eats shit every 10 steps#now putting them with the rest of the survivors would be interesting given that I think the two would hate most of them dhdkhdj#like I have no proof that olivia wouldnt like most of them but idk man I dont trust her to not be quietly judging them all#and jackie would probably explode if she was forced to interact with other human beings in a non boss-employee setting#olivia would start calling her jackie again and the others would start calling her that too and shed light herself on fire#wilson would start trying to be buddy buddy with the two and theyd both hate him so fucking much lol#the two would start trying to blueprint machines they could build with what they have and winona would enter frame about to ruin their day#you see winona is like their dark reflection shes like if you took a lesbian and made her the worst but not a bad person this time#shed start critiquing their work for being to fancy and theyd want to strangle her#and god knows how theyd handle the kids I think jackie would have a panic attack and olivia would go smash her head into a tree#and by the kids I mostly mean walter he was hand made to annoy them specifically#oh no wait hypothetical crossover cancelled I forgot abt wanda dont Ever let jackie and olivia meet wanda

honestly it's kinda funny how my two main fields of study somehow bleed into everything i design (computer science: horrendously rule lawyer-y, requirements on brutal efficiency/biology: central idea on form directly serving function (bleeds severely into my character designs))
#asto speaks#realisation i had recently#rule lawyering bleeds more into my world building where i turn every fantasy magic system i create into an exact science#but the focus on efficiency and function is in all my character designs which is why i'm really bad at /ornamenting/ designs#because it's like. what direct purpose does this serve#this is why i like doing creature/nonhuman design because behind every what there's a very clear why#the epitome of all of this is my theatre puppets. pure brutally efficient form = function

Perhaps this is an opinion that will seem controversial to those who like to keep spirit and science in separate containers, but it really just like. gets to me sometimes, just how much of therapy is witchcraft.
A therapist once had me visualize what it would look like if I “pulled” my traumatic feelings out of my body physically. I saw myself gather a heap of terrified ants, and she then told me to ask them what their purpose was, and if they’d be okay converting that nervous energy into enthusiasm for the task at hand instead. The same therapist also had me visualize speaking to myself as a little girl. My patron deity, Loki, once had me do the same.
In my outpatient, I remember how much it struck me that group therapy is like. literally just a coven. We would sit in a circle and enter into the space together via meditation, followed by spending the rest of the time doing Good Work for ourselves and others, with the guidance of someone knowledgeable who’d been through it all.
These things are never separate when I look at them. To heal oneself and others, to care for the world, to craft a better future with shared willpower and kind intention—they are common goals with very common practices.
Magic has always just been the application of old sciences, and the new ones aren’t unfamiliar.
#it always reminds me of that one scene in thor: the dark world#where thor takes jane to get diagnosed#and she sees the soul forge and starts nerding out and she’s like#this is highly theoretical quantum physics put to practice#you guys have called it something for thousands of years but science recognizes it#sometimes the thing that works is something we’ve always intuitively known about with a little modern research behind it#thoughts#mental health#disability#therapy#mental illness#magic#witchcraft#loki#outpatient#trauma

THE MAGIC OF VERMICOMPOSTING: HOW WORMS CAN TRANSFORM YOUR GARDEN AND REDUCE WASTE
Are you tired of throwing away your kitchen scraps and yard waste, only to see them end up in a landfill? What if I told you there was a magical solution that could transform your waste into nutrient-rich compost for your garden, all with the help of some slimy little creatures? That’s right, we’re talking about the magic of vermicomposting – the process of using worms to break down organic waste into a rich soil amendment. In this blog, we’ll explore the benefits of vermicomposting, how to set up your own worm bin, and tips for maintaining a healthy worm population. Get ready to discover the power of these little composting champions and transform your waste into a garden oasis!
Vermicomposting: What is it?
In vermicomposting, worms are used to compost. It is an efficient way to reduce kitchen and yard waste while providing a nutrient-rich additive for your garden.
The process is simple and does not require a lot of space. It only takes a composting bin, bedding material, and worms to get started. The worms will compost the organic matter once it has been broken down.
Composting worms are different from earthworms in your garden. They are specially adapted to eating organic matter and are very efficient at breaking it down.
Vermicomposting has many benefits, including reducing waste, improving your garden, and reducing your carbon footprint. If you want to reduce your waste and help the environment, vermicomposting is a great option!
The Benefits of Vermicomposting
Vermicomposting has clear benefits, and the practice is easy to implement. The worms will do the work of breaking down the organic matter into nutrient-rich, dark compost. This compost can then be used to fertilize plants in your garden. It is an efficient way to reduce waste while providing essential nutrients for your garden.
The benefits of vermicomposting extend beyond reducing waste and enhancing garden health. In addition to producing less waste, vermicomposting reduces the amount of methane released into the atmosphere. It has also been found that vermicomposting increases the number of beneficial microbes in soil, which helps plants absorb nutrients more effectively.
As a result of vermicomposting, toxins such as fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides are eliminated from the environment. Degrading organic matter also reduces carbon dioxide emissions and global warming. Moreover, plants are able to grow better as the soil becomes more resistant to erosion.
Overall, vermicomposting can play an important role in fighting climate change and reducing pollution. By recycling kitchen and yard waste, you can create nutrient-rich compost that has the potential to revolutionize your garden and help the environment.

The Magic of Barrel Char in Whiskey Production
Barrel char is a key factor in the rich, golden hues of whiskey. This description explains how the charring process caramelizes wood sugars and creates a layer of charcoal, filtering impurities and enhancing the whiskey’s depth of color. Whether it's bourbon’s lighter tone or rye’s darker amber, the influence of barrel char and its chemistry is an essential chapter in whiskey production.

The Buddhists are right: Life is illusion. Quantum mechanics is also right: Reality is a construct of human observation. Even time itself isn’t real.
If your delusion is actually true, are you still insane?
Intent—the core you, the real you, defined as your single driving desire—attracts result.
