Episode 4 Is...

Eh.

It was cool to see Sandman again. I feel like the character shouldn't be dumb enough to fall for their 'make Sandy sleep' plan, but then again, he did sit down and take a nap at Carol's parents' house. I don't know, at least he was in character. I liked that he came prepared with an energy drink, but...what, did they stop making 'Red Deer'? Maybe he doesn't like that brand. XD "Get away from me, Freddy Krueger!!!" was funny.

Curtis-itis?! So, that's what happened to Curtis. That's a big thing, and kinda dark for a kid's show. Wouldn't all the Elves know about it, and have measures in place to keep from getting stressed out? Maybe Neil can make a house call.

This franchise loves its fart jokes.

Cal is an idiot. A lovable one, but an idiot.

So, if Sandra can talk to animals, why doesn't she just talk to the bunny-bunnified Easter Bunny? Get his input? Oh, right, because her mentor chewed her out for no good reason.

Destroying. Easter Bunny's. House. Throwing stuff around and breaking stuff to get out the bad feelings and anger. One, I did it first, and two, won't he be mad when he's back to normal, and three...oh, wait, never mind. She can clean it up with her magic, no harm no foul.

Magnus Antos is still entertaining, and Olga is starting to grow on me. You know, like a fungus. The actress does a great job, but the character needs to take a chill pill.

Noel's cracking! Too much stress, dangerous health effects (cough, I did that first too with Bernard, cough). That I believe, but blowing up like a 'blueberry in the microwave' seems oddly specific. I suppose it's no more weird than barfing up sparkles or disappearing when people stop believing in the spirit of Christmas.

This series is all over the place.

The Sandman

You never can really go wrong with lizard men, but their voices become grating fairly quickly. Decent setting idea, a bunch of ships stuck together for generations. Never quite sick of Evelyn, she’s slightly delightful. The Sixth Doctor is overly evil here, it’s pretty impressive and similar to latter incarnations 7 and 12

Hello, Neil! I've always been extremely amused that both Good Omens and Supernatural have demon characters named Crowley, and now that GO also has an angel named Metatron, I have to ask where you get your name inspiration from? I know this is most definitely a coincidence but I'm still interested.

No, it's not a coincidence: Eric Kripke was a huge Good Omens fan, and always happy to talk about it. (And a Sandman fan and an American Gods fan.) You'll find bits of each of them in Supernatural.

Just finished the core ten episode of the Sandman season 1.

Wow. 🤩

The Corinthian is certainly one of my favorite villains I think ever and he was played perfectly. Such a charming, suave, and eevvvvil little man.

And just the scene where Morpheus steals that sick dream from the cereal (killer) convention goers. And they’re left to stagger out to their cars, feeling the full weight of grief and pain and guilt over what they’ve been doing up until this point.

And the Corinthian ultimately just wanting to live a life with no strings attached. Morpheus recognizing the errors of operating without empathy.

Rose Walker forging her own path, indirectly inspired by Morpheus’ words. The Dream vortex!!!

And so many other exhilarating, heartfelt things I could mention. A great conclusion! Onto the bonus episode :)

hello! for once recently, i’ve actually been watching tv shows that aren’t just new girl! so i’m gonna talk about it.

first off, i watched heartstopper season 2! me and my sibling watched it together and it was the absolute best! the first season is like, perfection in my eyes and this season is a close second. please watch it if you haven’t it was so good.

i’ve also watched the first five episodes of the witcher! it’s extremely bloody and i honestly don’t think i know what’s going on, but i’m having so much fun! i’ve not actually seen henry cavil in too much before the witcher, but he is so good in this show it’s insane. yennefer is such an interesting character im so excited to see what happens with her. jaskier is the best character and i won’t hear any complaints :)

and last, it’s not even something that’s new but i feel it’s still newish cause i had only watched it once so it doesn’t really count but it does. this is just to say that i watched episode 6 of the sandman again cause it’s the best and i love it more than i love myself :) (im kidding but i’m not)

that’s all i’ve watched really, it’s better than new girl reruns again but i’ve also been doing that
