OMG JLB just announced a clothbound deluxe edition of the Inheritance Games (In the UK) and I’m literally freaking out they are so freaking beautiful. (I’ll be ordering them off of BlackWell���s because I live in the US)

Also, JLB announced a while ago that her Fixer Series was getting new covers and a new titles (The Ruling Class & Lessons in Power). I haven’t read the series yet but I’ve heard a lot of really great reviews about it.

I just finished rereading The Same Backwards as Forward and here are my thoughts

-this made me sob

-I love how he calls her “Hannah O Hannah” or “Hannah the Same Backwards as Forward”

-I also love how he immediately notices her when they first met

-he sees her when she wants to be invisible 😭😭

-I love their little games

-I love how you learn why Hannah came up with her games

(Also it’s kind of funny that both the games that Hannah came up with and the I have a secret game were because of a Hawthorne)

-“I hated you until I loved you. And I’ll love you until the end” 😭😭

-I love the hospital scene

-ALSO ALICE COMING TO VISIT HANNAH WHEN AVERY WAS A BABY

-THEY ARE SO CUTE AND THEY WILL ALWAYS MAKE ME CRY, I WISH THEY COULD HAVE ENDED UP TOGETHER

Ok but something that would make me explode would be a scene in The Same Backward As Foward where Hannah is on her deathbed (already devastating) and then Toby sneaks into the hospital like he did when Avery was born (for parallels) and she asks him to look out for Avery (so them hanging out in tig would be even more depressing) and they have a last kiss 🥺 or maybe we get Avery & Hannah’s last convo? Oh my heart 😭🥺

What the hell. I’ve just finished The Same Backward As Forward and I’m actually in shambles??? I’ve never cried so hard to the inheritance games before but I will surely never forget Hannah and Toby. I actually can’t get over them and haven’t stopped thinking about theories - this one is kinda wild and based off something I saw on here aswell but what if *SPOILER* Alice Hawthorne played a role in Hannah’s death??? Because I’m sorry but I refuse to believe she actually died of natural causes and the last bit about how Alice gave Hannah an offer and she turned it down?? What could this mean?????? I’ve also noticed so many parallels between Jameson and Avery too ughhhh

The novella was good, but a whole book on the romantic but ill fated couple might be too much.

Not trying to be a downer, just my initial thoughts to seeing this.

OMG we finally get our first look at Hannah’s sister Kaylie who is quite the party girl!!

I really hope we get to see and hear more about her in this novella. I would really love to get to know her more.

This also might be an unpopular opinion, but Toby and Hannah were a far more devastating and romantic love story that Jameson and Avery ever could be.
