i could be reading into this but brendan internally struggling with gender, and mano knows this as an omniscient being in the whimsyonwheels-verse so he refers to brendan with gender neutral pronouns, while brendan’s friends don’t know about it so they refer to brendan with he/him pronouns

again i’m probably reading into this like it’s probably just bc mano/whoever writes the prompts doesn’t know who will want to play brendan so they don’t make it clear brendan’s gender… but like yes give me internally-struggling-with-gender brendan
