Enjoying this Ghostbusters fan film today during my breaks today. Boogie Man was my fav as a kid! Got some great humor that made me busting a gut.

Day 19 👹 Boogieman - The Real Ghostbusters 🚫👻

very late to the discussion, but do you have any favorite episodes/episodes you really really like from rgb? personally im a big fan of citizen ghost (mostly for the spectral ghostbusters, it's such a cool idea I wish they got utilized more)

Ooh, I have a bunch of random eps I adore for no reason!!

My comfort episode is probably “Troll Bridge” and I wish I knew why. I like the animation style, the soundtrack song is a banger, the little troll is cutesy and the guys have very fun interactions in this one.

Another one I’m a huge fan of is “Egon On The Rampage.” Again, good animation, love Egon-centric eps, I think the concept of the story being told through a TV screen is quite interesting, the jokes are funny, and it has fun character dynamic moments!

And then of course the two big bads: “Knock, Knock” and “The Collect Call of Cathulhu,” I think these are objectively the best ones in the show. The plot is great, the stakes are high, animation is peak, just awesome episodes, each could be a movie.

I have maaany more that I love simply for the vibes and the fun of it, but I guess these are the main ones

Any headcanons about Boogie? If not, what are the things you like about him?

(Sidenote, but the ask about Boogie's piano yesterday made me think of him putting the piano down and smashing the keys like a child instead of destroying the whole thing.)

Hello! I didn't expect to receive so many questions, so this is a pleasant surprise!

It's been a while since I watched GF, so my opinion may change upon a re-watch, but I enjoyed the episodes that focus on Soos because he's my favorite character. Those would be "Blendin's Game" and "Soos and the Real Girl." (Also shout out to "Not What He Seems" for that iconic reveal at the end!) As for RGB my favorites would of course be "The Boogieman Cometh" for introducing my favorite villain of the franchise, and "Flip Side" for inspiring my own OCs and stories.

Favorite pieces of media? In general? That's a lot, but I'll try and sum up: Fave movies= The Princess Bride & Ghostbusters, Fave shows= RGB & Avatar The Last Airbender, Fave games= Okami & American Mcgee's Alice, Fave books= Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking Glass, Fave bands= Ghost & The Birthday Massacre. (There's obviously more, but I narrowed it down to 2 each.)

I headcanon that Boogie can shapeshift and create illusions to conjure up a child's worst fears, but most of the time his default appearance is enough to terrify them. I just love him as a villain because of his unique design and his relationship to Egon. The Boogieman inspired Egon to study the supernatural, so in a weird way, the Ghostbusters wouldn't exist without him. (And yes, I can imagine Boogie throwing a piano-smashing tantrum over realizing that, ha!)
