Do you think Spider bonded with any of the recoms outside Quaritch? Like, Fike taught him how to play poker, Z-Dog always bitched at him for slowing them down while shoving a water bottle in his hands, because she’s always got an eye on her Colonel’s six and now there’s a kid constantly there, etc? Idk, I just love the idea of this feral group of marines adopting an equally feral child.
oh absolutely.
now I don't much about the team individually, so this will be sparse.
I totally headcanon that zdog and spider have a very "he's not my kid, but he's not not my kid" and "she's not my mom, but she's not not my mom" type relationship. they hate each other (lovingly) but zdog aggressively takes care of spider (forcing him to drink water, making sure he sleeps, making sure he doesn't sun burn, making sure he doesn't climb to high or mess with too big an animal. she picks him by the armpits like a toddler aggressively, and 'yells' at him when he scrunches up like a feral kitten. he's always sticking to her side when Quaritch is busy, annoying her. he's always going out of his way to do something dangerous in front of her, cause she always freaks out.
he gets looped into games of poker and rummy by Fike and Mansk almost every night, he becomes especially fond of BS, just cause it's the only time he can scream 'bullshit' without getting scolded for his mouth.
he teaches the squad to use their ears instead of a scope to spot things around them. he teaches them about their queues, how to bid with different things, how important they stem
they teach the kid better self defense, cause within the Na'vi world, his only form of defense was to run, to get to a vantage point and use a bow, of to hide. they teach him use a gun (their idea of a good time, but spider hates it, he pretends for their sake) and some hand to hand (not like he can use against the Na'vi, who are twice his size, but it's the the thought that counts).
mansk tells terrible dad jokes 24/7 and does The Dad Shoulder Pat, cause look at those sunglasses, you wanna tell me he wouldn't?
spider also introduces them to the idea of sleep piles, they play hide and seek/tag whenever the higher ups aren't looking, pull pranks on said higher ups, they have their own version of 'cheese touch' that probably has something to do with someone underwear (cause they're all nasty like that), they play game on the ikran, spider does all of their hair (that's his idea of bonding time, sue him), and lyles the fun uncle. cause why not.

You eventually decided to forget your body for now and leave it to Norm to take care of it. All you were focusing on was burying yourself further into work.
Which included going back to tending to your garden by planting and replanting a few seeds and veggies. Then there was checking up on the baby who was bound to be due soon, you’d spend the last few hours of the day with her until eventually, you forced yourself to sleep in the Avatar Compound.
That was your schedule throughout the next couple of days. Along with that, you took on more work to distract yourself such as restocking more link shacks and taking care of the land along with the other avatars. It was one of the many deals the humans made with the People in exchange for letting them stay instead of going into exile. It kept you busy whenever you didn’t need to tend to your garden. Any free time that you happened to have would’ve been filled up with something else to keep you busy.
The only peace you got was at the end of the day when you were in the tank room.
“I’m sorry I’ve been gone, little one.” You said to her the first night you returned to Hell’s Gate. “I was unfortunately a bit distracted. But now I’m here and I’m never leaving you that long again. That is, until you’re born of course.”
There was a subtle shift in the stomach, bringing you a slight sense of comfort that she still remembered your voice. You didn’t know why it was comforting though. You wouldn’t be the one to hold her in the end. You probably wouldn’t be able to see her much once she was with her rightful parents…
Stop—stop.
Then there was foraging.
You enjoyed wandering around the forest to both discover new things and become well acquainted with the familiar routes. Going to your mother’s grave, finding the shack you had been trapped in, and even venturing further out just to see what was out there. Things you’ve missed.
It would’ve been nice if there was some comfort to all of it. But it made you forget. Made you think less. That was enough for now.
Until you eventually had to return to the clan’s base for Mo’at’s checkups. And not wanting to anger the Tsahik, you went anyway despite your reservations about it. All you could do was pray you didn’t run into Jake during the short visit.
So when you saw Tsu’tey with his brother inside her hut, you were strangely relieved which quickly made your stomach churn at the very thought.
His brother, Arvok, noticed you first as Mo’at was working on his abdomen. Surprisingly, he offered a white yet tired smile your way, “Ah, my savior the dreamwalker! I thought I was dreaming before.”
He ended up sitting up a bit as he spoke but Mo’at forced him to lie back down, “Hold still.”
“No need to thank me. It was nothing.” You mumbled, face impenetrably impassive.
“Nothing?! I heard you died because you saved me. How is that nothing?” Arvok sat up a little again only for his head to be forced back down by an irritated Tsahik.
You tried not to acknowledge the younger male’s words. Tsu’tey watched you for a beat before nudging Arvok’s shoulder gently, “Mawey, tsmukan.”
Not bothering to try and understand what he had said, you muttered again, this time sternly, “As I said, it was nothing—frankly, you should be more worried about yourself and the person who stabbed you.” Finding the new topic, you quickly steered the conversation in that direction. “By the way, who injured you in the first place—”
“That is none of your concern,” Tsu’tey said simply with his face somewhat screwed into his usual scowl.
You nodded expectantly, “Yeah, I thought so.”
Arvok then nudged his arm, hissing at him in  Na’vi. Tsu’tey didn’t appear happy but spoke again, “It is clan business. Something that you should not concern yourself with. You have been too involved enough as it is.”
“Ha!” Mo’at huffed earning a glare from the Olo’eyktan. She did not offer more and continued tending to Arvok.
“Well,” You frowned, clenching and unclenching your hands. By then you realized you were still standing while the other three were much closer to the ground. “I did get poisoned by this clan business but you’re right. I suppose it is none of my concern.”
At this, Mo’at finally stood and scowled at the two of you—more specifically Tsu’tey, “If this is how your interactions will be during this time, then I must ask you to leave and come back when you are ready to speak with her correctly.” She gestured for Arvok to sit up—albeit slowly—and dismissed him, “You must continue resting. It will be a long while before you can hunt again.”
“Yes, Tsahik.” With a grumble, Arvok slowly pushed to his feet, the wince clear on his youthful features. But he looked better. Better than you had expected someone to have been stabbed to look. Then again, Mo’at must’ve been working on him while you had been unconscious—dead—so he had time to get better.
He held his abdomen gingerly as he walked past you, sending you a quick nod before he finally left. “You!” At that, your attention turned back to Mo’at who was now pointing at the spot Arvok had been, “Sit. Now.”
Obediently you sunk to the floor and allowed Mo’at to start her work on you. Tsu’tey surprisingly didn’t leave and just lingered in the background much to your dismay. But your body wasn’t tense because of his presence. You were constantly glaring at the doorway, waiting for him to show up at that point, waiting with your guard up, waiting for yet another fight with that damned asshole.
“You shouldn’t be putting so much strain on this arm. You should be resting as well, let yourself get adjusted to your new body.” Mo’at instructed sternly as she applied new green mush to your arm.
You winced, both at the subtle sting in your arm and the easy way she mentioned your transference. As if it was another day. You couldn’t tell whether that pissed you off or made you quite relieved that at least someone was making a huge deal out of it. You’d already cried everything out of your system. Now you just wanted to allow yourself to feel numb.
Just until everything came back up again. If it ever would.
In the corner of your eye, Tsu’tey shifted onto the mat further behind you.
Mo’at pressed her hand against your arm, “Have you buried your former body yet?”
You chewed on the inside of your cheek, “Why are you asking me that now?”
“Some questions will be hard to answer. It is the way of life.” She replied easily as she began unwrapping the bandage on your shoulder. “But it is okay to not be ready. Are you not read, dreamwalker?”
“Sure.” It was all you offered.
You left the body to Norm now. You made him swear not to tell you where he planned on putting it. And you were okay with that.
You were fine—you were fine—you were fine—
Eventually, after enduring a long silence—which you were quite comfortable with—Mo’at finished and stood. You moved to get up as well but she pressed her hand down on your shoulder and shook her head, “You speak with Olo’eyktan first. Then you leave.”
With that, she stepped out of the hut and you, after great reluctance, looked over your shoulder at Tsu’tey to find him slightly sitting hunched over on the ground, playing with something in his fingers.
You weren’t going to speak first. He wanted to speak with you. You would wait for him.
And eventually he did, “When Mo’at brought up the potential—that you could be our fourth mate—what did you think?”
The question startled you. It was the last thing you ever thought he’d ask. And the fact that it was Tsu’tey himself asking you this and not Neytiri or hell, even Jake.
But you remained on guard anyway, “Do you care?”
At that, he raised his gaze from whatever was in his hands to look at you, “Many people have made their opinions known about the matter. All but you. It’s as if your voice is drowned out by an unforgiving storm. I am asking you, dreamwalker. What do you think of it?”
For a moment you considered your words carefully. The conversation wasn’t adversary so you lowered your defense, only by a little bit. And as you thought about your answer, you realized you hadn’t even had the chance to think about what you truly thought about the idea of being their fourth mate. Neytiri had mentioned them looking for one long ago but you never imagined it would be you. You never imagined—
You never imagined you’d be loved.
And because of that, it was simply never in the cards for you. Even if there were moments where you—
“Why does it matter anyway?” You glared down at your fingers, watching as your nails dug into your palms. “Can you honestly imagine us as mates? I mean have you thought about it yourself? Can you even imagine Jake and I as mates? After the other night? Tsu’tey, I think the answer’s pretty clear.” You faced him, jaw tight and your voice quiet despite your steeled spine, “I’m too broken. And it would be cruel—I am not cruel and I’m not selfish enough to allow you three to drag yourselves to the bottom because of me. And that’s what I think. It’s quite simple actually—”
“To your human mind, yes.” Tsu’tey shook his head and stood, turning his back to you. He paced for a moment, eyes searching the room until he finally spoke. “But it is about duty. If Eywa has favored you then I must do my job as Olo’eyktan and honor that. If you are our fourth—”
“You don’t know that.”
“You are right, I do not!” He hissed but stopped, almost as if he were restraining himself.
You clenched your hands together again, glaring down at the matted floor. For a moment, the two of you were silent. This had to be the longest conversation you and Tsu’tey had ever had. And of course, it was about something heavy, something complicated, something difficult to even comprehend. Why couldn’t it have been something simple? Why couldn’t things be simple?
“I have failed my people.”
A beat went by and you looked up, wondering if that was all he had to say only to find his gaze on you. Intense and yellow. Unreadable yet uncomfortable to receive, nonetheless.
But his face was gentle as he spoke. His voice was quieter, “And in some ways, I feel I have failed our Great Mother. I feel I have failed my mates. My son. My unborn children. My mother. My brother. My father. Perhaps you do not understand it, dreamwalker, but it is my sworn duty to do what I must for my clan. To be the leader that they deserve. And I am not.” He stepped forward until he was standing in front of you and dropped something into your hands.
It was pretty. A handwoven string of beads and gems, almost too gorgeous to belong to someone like you. You held it limply in your hands, not wanting to touch it any further.
“I am not a good mate.” He continued, now his face unreadable. You weren’t really sure what yours looked like at the moment but you hoped it didn’t convey what you felt at the moment as he spoke.
Utter dread. Shock. And pity.
“If I had proposed to you, I would have thought that I had done right by the Great Mother.”
He said it so simply. Proposed? Tsu’tey? To you? How come he didn’t appear affected when he said these words? Why was it you that was struck frozen by this revelation?
Perhaps he was good at hiding it. Perhaps you were too.
Tsu’tey knelt in front of you and looked down at the string, his face still a mask. “I would take care of you, just as I do with my other mates. I would treat your children as my own, I would be okay with not being in love with you for the sake of duty.” Unconsciously, your fingers wrapped around the string as you took in his words. Very deliberate, very careful, very real. “But you would have said no. And I would be okay with that too. Because I cannot commit to my duty. Because I am a bad Olo’eyktan. And…” The words seemed difficult to spill out from his mouth but he forced it out anyway. “And I am not cruel enough either, dreamwalker.”
For a moment, you did not say a thing. For a moment, you wondered if you were dreaming. For a moment, you wondered if there could be a world where you and Tsu’tey weren’t hostile to each other like now. You wondered if there could be a world where you’d look at him as something more.
Because in the end, you appreciated his honesty. Frankly, that was one of the best things you liked about the Na’vi. They weren’t like humans. They didn’t hold anything back because they didn’t see a reason to.
And it made your next words clear and firm, “Your search for worthiness isn’t on me, Tsu’tey. And a proposal definitely wouldn’t have been able to fix that.” You frowned and glanced down at the string and then back at him, “That wasn’t a proposal, right?”
Tsu’tey stood then, his tail swishing behind him. “I suppose it was. In a way.” He looked at you expectantly, “And your answer, dreamwalker?”
He held a look that told you he already knew your answer. You stood as well and handed him back the beaded string with yet another impassive mask, “No. That is my answer. But you knew that.”
Wordlessly, he took the beads back, his gaze never leaving it. You stood there for a moment, feeling exhausted once more. And again, Tsu’tey allowed himself to appear the same.
Too tired for this world. Too tired to carry on.
You steeled yourself away and stood straighter, “So you agree. This isn’t what Eywa wanted.”
At that, his ears twitched, “We do not know what she wants. It has always been that way. And it will remain so.”
Nodding, you moved past him and toward the entrance, only to stop short. Your brain was muddled, your emotions were tangled, and yet you spoke clearly. “If your deity is as great as you all say she is, then I’m sure she wouldn’t want you to suffer.”
Without waiting for a response, you left. Not daring to look back. Not daring to ponder questions you’ve never thought about until now.
Enough. Enough of all of it.
Tumblr media
“Any day now.” You mumbled, staring bleakly down at the table as Norm was checking the ultrasound. It was weird being several inches taller than him now when in human form he had quite the height over you, “We just have to watch her closely now.”
Norm nodded, “Good, good. That’s great news. I’ll let the parents know. You good staying here for a bit?”
“Always.” You watched over the tank as Norm left the room. Tucking the tablet under your arm, you placed your hand against the class, “Can’t wait to meet you, finally. I wonder if you’re gonna be as quiet when you’re born.”
The silence was suffocating, and So were the tears. They had finally come.
God, you were so angry.
Was this really all you were worth? An obligation? Something so worthless that you needed empty protection? Was that all they saw in you? Was that all you’ll ever be to them?
You sank into a nearby chair, allowing the silent tears to fall.
It wasn’t what you wanted. You didn’t want to be the outsider—the intruder. All you wanted was to save a bunch of trees and now you’re here. A stain. An inconvenience. Blood red on a perfect white canvas.
This baby girl didn’t deserve someone as shattered as you. She deserved the loving parents that claimed her from the beginning. Protected and kept away from your storm.
“I hope this world doesn’t hurt you, little one.” You wiped at your eyes, beaten and bruised already.
Norm eventually came back moments later. You hadn’t gotten up from the chair. He saw your dried tears and cleared his throat, “Jake said he’s already on his way, um,” He appeared careful and gentle as he spoke, “I’ll take over if you need a break.”
“You don’t have to.” Was your attempt at a protest.
But he shook his head adamantly, “No, I will. You’ve—it’s been pretty rough for you. It’s the least I can do for…”
You frowned as he avoided your gaze.
“I could’ve done better—more to save you—”
“Spellman, you're fine,” You shook your head and stood. “I don’t blame you—couldn’t if I wanted to. You’re the only one that has my back here. Well, maybe besides Neytiri.”
“Are you going then?” He asked as you walked passed him.
“Yeah, I’m gonna try to cool off. Maybe go on a walk.”
“You sure? Don’t get another chunk of your skin bitten off again. Or poisoned.”
“Ha-ha.” You responded dryly.
Deciding you wanted fresh air, you left out of Hell’s Gate and went into the forest.
You had marked the places you passed with small white strips in the past, tying them to smaller branches. It allowed you to venture further away from the base this time. And by the time the sun began to set, you found yourself at the waterfall, the same one you were at with Tsu’tey before.
And you stayed there. This time you went toward the waterfalls’ mist surrounding you the closer you got to the waterfall itself. The water moved up toward your waist until you were practically floating above water.
For a while, you stayed like this. Until night came. You stayed like this until your hair stuck to the back of your neck.
Eventually, you passed through the waterfall. Breathing out a long and delicate sigh.
These waters relaxed you. These waters made you forget.
Once you reached the other side of the waterfall, there was a rock large enough for you to hoist yourself on. And sit there. You didn’t know how long you’d stay there and you didn’t care. The world outside of this place didn’t matter to you. For a while, you just wanted to forget. To become stone.
Half alive and half buried in the ground.
That is until the world called for you to come back. Until the world wrapped its grip on you and yanked you back into reality.
Until something whizzed past your face, cutting some of the strands from your unbraided hair.
And now across from you was a spear lodged into the stone. Whoever had thrown it had great strength. Whoever had thrown had meant to kill you.
Instantly, you froze. Heart pounding against your chest, blood rushing to your ears.
“Demon!” AN unfamiliar voice shouted further away—possibly on land away from the waterfall. Quickly, you lowered yourself on the rock. Most of the water from the mountain and mist hid you, so there was a chance that the attacker couldn’t see you. “Come out and I kill you!
You didn’t move from the rock. From what little you could hear, the voice spoke in Na’vi as if he was giving orders to someone. Which meant this guy wasn’t alone. The many splashes coming toward you only confirmed that.
As quietly as possible, you slid off the rock and toward the spear, yanking it out of the wall with what little strength you had left. A shadow then passed you as you ducked behind the rock just as a figure stepped through the waterfall. He was wearing strange armor and his war paint was different from what you had seen the Omatikaya wear. Which also told you that these warriors that surrounded you were from a different clan. A clan you were sure that weren’t reluctant in having to kill the likes of you for being human.
 The warrior had an arrow pointed and ready. Fortunately, he hadn’t seen you yet.
But before you could take your chance at escape, a quicker shadow to the right dived through the falls, aiming another spear at you.
It was so quick, you hadn’t heard the other warrior coming and barely dodged the sharp end of her spear as you slid off the rock and into the deep waters.
The spear didn’t slow and sunk into the water with you. You swam away from the two, going deeper underwater until you weren’t able to be spotted. You continued swimming away from the small enclave and made it to the other side of the waterfalls.
Praying that the mist continued to cover you up, you came up for air and climbed onto a nearby rock. You still had the discarded spear and gripped it in your hands as you hopped onto another rock—not even stopping when you heard a bunch more splashes and shouts in Na’vi coming toward you.
Once you were sure they were far enough away from you, you continued hopping on the rocks until you finally reached land. But you didn’t run, knowing that it would make too much noise. Instead, you clutched the spear to your chest and slinked into the forest, just as how Neytiri had done it when the two of you would travel through the forest together.
Be one with the forest and all that shit.
God, you couldn’t catch one break. First Jake, then Tsu’tey, and now this? It was like the universe hated you for some reason.
As quickly and as quietly as possible, you put some distance between you and the waterfall. When you got far enough, you ducked behind a thick tree, pressing your back against it while taking in shaky breaths. You kept the spear close to your chest as if it were a shield while praying that you had been quiet enough to escape.
Something sharp pressed against the side of your neck, instantly squashing any hope you had left.
“You are loud, demon.” She spoke in Na’vi. It was one of the only sentences you recognized since Neytiri used to say it to you all the time in the beginning.
You remained still, staring at the warrior in the corner of your eye.
She took the spear from your hands and tossed it to the ground, not lowering hers.
“Where is your clan, sawtute?”
Okay, she spoke a little English. Which meant this clan had lived around humans at some point,.
“I don’t have a clan.” You gritted out shakily, “And I’m not trespassing—”
“Demon! All of you!” She hissed, the tip pressing further into your skin. “I kill you and bring your head back to my clan. The rest of you demons will follow!”
You glanced toward the spear on the ground, trying to figure out how fast you’d have to move to get it and escape.
But you nor the warrior didn’t get a chance to do anything as an arrow flew through the trees and hit the warrior in her shoulder.
She stumbled back, you took the chance and grabbed the spear from the ground.
As the warrior fell to her knees, your savior stood further away behind her. Bow raised with another arrow pointed at her.
You breathed out shakily, “It’s you.”

Cameron on D23 Brazil
youtube
The interview with Cameron during D23 in Brazil about Avatar movies.
The big reveal is that Tulkun are his favorites.
He also talks about Windtraders and Ash Na'vi.
The Ash Na'vi tribe name is Mangkwan. Same as one mentioned in the Avatar: The Next Shadow comics (proving comics are indeed canon). Wiki has already merged the entries.
So the Ash Na'vi call themselves Ash People for the volcanic ash that destroyed their civilisation.
They resent Eywa and other Na'vi because they feel they were left to suffer alone. They are really ones that hate god for abandoning them. It makes sense when your god is real and it preaches we are all connected but when bad things happen you are all alone because Eywa doesn't interviene.
But then, of course, Eywa did interviene for Jake Sully. She helped Omatikaya against the invaders. The immune response still protects Halleluja Mountains. This must hurt even worse.
I could see how this would feel like such a injustice. Why Varang and Quaritch could ally themselves on this feeling of being wronged. Even if Quaritch was the one at fault and natural disasters aren't the same as alien invasion threatening the whole world.
And the other Na'vi preaching how they are all connected - where were they when Mangkwan needed them? All they do is send them their undesirables. Screw them too.
I can see why they would be interested in human tech and using it to fight the other Na'vi and not caring about laws of Eywa or the consequences for the word. I also see why RDA would love to use them for that. I expect it to go about as well as training Taliban did.

Finders Keepers
Neteyam x Daughter of Quaritch (first person)
Quaritch's daughter on Earth had cancer. As a last resort, she was put into a Avatar body and brought to Pandora. One night, she is sick of being stuck with the RDA and she sneaks out. Deep in the forest, she runs into a Na'vi boy.
Tumblr media
Quaritch shoves his weapons into his pack as his squad loads up the helicopter behind him. His new body is somewhat familiar, despite being blue. He still has his scar and lethal eyes. He’s still my dad, even if I refuse to call him that.
My own body is still foreign to me: blue, tall, a tail, perked ears. I miss my human form, even if I was decaying, my body full of cancer. Quaritch found me when I was right on the brink, days away from dying. He told my mom he could help me, put me into an Avatar body like his where I could live longer. My mom was hesitant, she doesn't like Quaritch but she wanted me to have a life so she agreed.
Quaritch was hardly ever around growing up, he was way too career focused. He left my mom to do it all alone. But now, he has this newfound need to be a father. Maybe he feels guilty? Or maybe it's cause we're both blue. I don’t know, but either way he insisted I join him on Pandora since my Na'vi body will have no place on Earth. My mom didn’t want me to go but she had no choice; Quaritch always got his way.
Which means that I never get my way.
I cross my arms and stare at Quaritch. "I want to go with you."
“No,” he says gruffly as he jams his gun into it’s holster, “you’re not allowed out there.”
His voice echoes off the metal walls of the compound. “You can’t expect me to stay holed here!”
“Oh, yes I can.”
“I refuse to spend my life in this metal box!” I yell at him before lifting my mask and taking a puff of air. “It’s not made for me.”
“Your human body wasn’t made for you either, kid.” He doesn’t look at me when he says this but the words sting. I can’t help but think of my frail body and bald head. Quaritch turns and marches off towards the rest of his squad. I wish he would just let me out but he's so paranoid about the local Na'vi. He says they're dangerous.
"I'm going insane here!" I scream after him. He doesn't turn around as he disappears around the corner. God, sometimes I wish I had just stayed on Earth. Even if I had cancer, it's better than being here. At least there I had mom and friends. All I have here is a metal box, guns, robots, and psycho military freaks.
Speaking of, a group of them walk past me. Their camo uniforms are the only ounce of color in this place. They don't spare me a look as they pass but I know they see me. No one here dares to look at me. Maybe they're uncomfortable with my Avatar body? Maybe because Quaritch is my dad?
"UGH!" I scream, letting my frustration out. A few scientist looking people in white lab coats look in confusion. I stick my tongue out at them and take another inhale from my mask.
The thought of returning back to my small, windowless room, is enough to make me want to throw up. The hospital was better than this. My mom promised me it would be amazing here: the nature, the culture, the time with my dad (she forgot to mention that Quaritch happens to be an insane overprotective workaholic.)
I take a few steps towards my room before stopping. A few workers nearly ram into me. They step hastily over my tail, adjusting their hard hats before scurrying down the hall. Everyone here thinks I'm different. A freak.
I catch a glimpse of myself in the reflection of the steel walls. A strange blue figure stares back out me. I recognize the brown tank top and cut off shorts. But the swishing of a tail and the perk of ears; are still foreign. How can I ever know or even enjoy my new body if I'm forever trapped in here?
That's it. I'm going out. Screw whatever Quaritch has to say. I back track, immediately plotting the best way to escape the compound. Which soldiers to avoid, which ones I can bribe, and the best way to leave without a trace.
Quaritch might be furiouse but hey, he should've let me tag along.
~~~
Sneaking out was easier than I originally thought. I scuttle through an underground tunnel that the work cars use to get into the forest. I stay close to the walls, using my new sense of hearing to make sure no one is coming.
And of course, no one does. There probably isn’t a single person in this place that would notice if I went missing except Quaritch. I shove all those thoughts out my mind as I reach the end of the tunnel. Moonlight streams in from the end of it like a sigil of freedom.
My heart lurches in my chest. Finally, I can go outside. I take my mask off and tuck it into the waistband of my shorts. Chitters from animals I don’t recognize float through the tunnel.
I pause as I reach the archway that leads out into the night. The ground looks so soft, covered in greenery and plush plants. The trees are huge, they loom in front of me, making my heart soar. I haven’t been excited about something in so long.
I take one cautious step out, partially expecting for an alarm to go off. But nothing happens. I let a breath of relief followed by a little laugh. I’m outside!
I close my eyes and inhale deeply, smelling the freshness, pines, and the hint of something sweet that fills the Pandora air.
I open my eyes and take off into the forest. My eyes adjust naturally to the darker night and the two moons illuminate the path between trees. All the plants glow brightly and some even twirl as I pass by. All that time, I've been cooped up and missing all of this.
Animals call to each other as they swing through the trees. None of them approach me, they just swing by, seeing me as part of their ecosystem. A smile forms on my face as I keep running. I don’t think of anything. I just let myself enjoy this freedom, enjoy finally feeling at home in my new body
After awhile, I stop to catch my breath. My new body is filled with peace and serenity being in my rightful environment. I place my hand on a nearby tree and close my eyes. Maybe Pandora isn’t so bad.
I walk around the tree and halt, my breathe flying out of me. It’s a small clearing, covered completely by the most beautiful flowers I’ve ever seen. Long petals, all of them shining, some of them twirling slowly. A sweet aroma envelopes me. “Oh,” I gasp as I step slowly into the flower garden.
My mom would love these. She brought me tons of flowers when I was sick. My heart bangs at the sudden thought of her, alone in our small apartment. I reach forward and grasp a petal between my fingertips. It’s soft, much softer than I’d expected.
I think I could stay here forever and just get in lost in the beauty of it all. I mean, this is what my dad has kept me from? What is he so afraid of? I haven’t even seen a sign of the Na’vi…
“Bro, will you please just chill?” A voice cracks through the trees. I go rigid. It’s a boy’s voice. Young and adventurous. And definitely Na’vi. Great.
My hand shake nervously. I inch slowly to the ground before shuffling to the nearest tree where I stand and push myself flat against it, praying he won’t come this way.
“We need to go home,” another voice says, a more mature one, “it is past eclipse and dad will skin us.”
The voices sound like they're coming from my left but I don't dare to peek around the tree.
"Your such a wuss," the younger boy snaps. The voice is getting closer. My blood runs cold. I curse myself for never listening to Quaritch's lessons on how to fight.
Leaves rustle as the boys move closer to me. Please, please let them just walk by, I pray as I squeeze my hands together.
A branch snaps, piercing the air, followed by a loud smack and laughter.
"Ow," the younger voice cries, "Bro!" More laughter fills the air, presumably the older one. They must be brothers.
"You know bro," the young one starts, "I'll just do it anyway." The ground vibrates as footsteps sprint towards me. I go completely still.
The footsteps grow louder as the boy comes closer. I try not to think or breathe. There's a loud crashing from the other side of the tree. The boy runs through, sending a gust of air towards me. He didn't see me from my hiding spot.
I let out a breath of relief before patting the tree as though to say thank you. A moment of silence passes. My heart rate begins to slow. I take a few deep breaths. God, that was close.
I'm about to move away from the tree when a sharp spear shoves me back against the rough bark. A shocked gasp escapes my lips.
A boy stands before me, his fingers grasping the weapon and his amber eyes blazing. He's wearing a loincloth and woven headband where his ears lay flat against his skull. His lips are turned downward into a dangerous scowl.
My heart is banging against my chest. Quaritch was right. I shouldn't have come out here. I open my mouth to say something but nothing comes out.
Suddenly, my neck stings. I let out a hiss as blood trickles down my neck. He just cut me! The boy doesn't say anything as he pushes his spear harder against my skin.
Fear races through my body. I don't want to die like this. I inhale sharply, ignoring the pain in my neck. "Please," I whisper as I slowly lift my hands up, "I don't mean any harm. I was just looking at the flowers."
A flicker crosses the boy's eyes but it's gone in an instant.
"I just wanted to see the beauty of the forest," I continue, my hands shaking.
The boy lifts his head slightly. His pupils widen as he studies my face. His eyes trail the line of my tanktop and shorts in disgust. Evidence of skypeople.
At least if I die, it will be in this amazing forest.
The boy goes still and he tilts his head as if he sees something in my expression. I meet his gaze, hoping to seem brave when a jolt runs through me. It feels like I've been electrocuted. His eyes light in surprise.
"Neteyam!" The younger voice calls from further in the forest. "Bro, let's go!"
Neteyam. He doesn't look away from my eyes. My body begins to feel warm and calm, despite the spear being held to my throat. It's like my body recognizes him. Like we've meet him before. His tail swishes slowly behind him.
"I'm for real!" The voice is louder. He's headed this way.
The boy, Neteyam, quickly shoves his spear away and takes a step back. I should feel relieved that the weapon is away but all I feel is the empty space where he once stood.
He shakes his head briskly, like he's trying to clear his mind.
"Dude," the young voice yells again, but I can hardly hear over the ringing in my ears, "dad is for sure gonna skin us now."
Neteyam looks towards the sound of his brother's voice. My tail flicks behind me, an instinctive movement I've never done before.
Neteyam turns his head towards me. "If you like these flowers," he says softly, "you'll like the ones under the Hallelujah Mountains."
He runs off into the forest before I have a chance to reply. He rustles through the leaves. Then, the low rumble of his voice mixes with his brother's until both of their sounds disappear and I'm alone in the forest.
You'll like the ones under the Hallelujah Mountains. My lips split apart into a grin. The warmth in my stomach is still there, fluttering out to my fingers and toes. Like my body is a magnet, fighting to find him again.
I push off the tree and make my way back to the compound. I should be worrying about sneaking back in or getting caught by Quaritch, but I don't. All I can think about is that boy. Neteyam. Who is he?
I don't even care. All that matters is that I see him again.
~~~
Thank you for reading <3
Ahhh, this was so fun to write!! I thought of this idea when I saw Avatar 2 again yesterday and I was like I have to do it.
I feel like this could be fun as a series?? I don't know, I do a lot of series so maybe this will just be a oneshot. Let me know what you think :)

by your side | spider socorro
summary: after getting captured by miles quaritch, spider becomes a hostage at the rda. but with a curious young girl secretly visiting him every night, he started to think that things couldn't be so terrible. based on this ask.
genre(s): fluff
warnings: none i guess? they're just purely in love i think that's adorable. this is not proofread, i got too lazy so if you see any mistakes, no you didn't!
Tumblr media
there was a big commotion going around the rda base — a human boy, raised by na'vi, was being held hostage in the exact same place you were in. of course you were curious: people say you took a lot after your mother, wanting to know about everything and everyone. how would a human adapt in such different circumstances? could he speak english? how did a baby human end up in pandora? your mind was racing with so many questions. you had to see him now.
but it's obvious no one would let you do that. what could a sixteen year old do to help the operation? you shouldn't even be there; your mother only brought you partly because she had no one to take you in and partly because you begged her to let you come. luckily to you she was an important woman and with the help of a few people they managed to bring you to pandora. the conditions? don't stop studying. don't cause any trouble. keep your nose out of the adult's business.
you couldn't screw this up. being so close to the rda operation, even if it was just as a watcher, could be a big step for your future. so you tried your best to not get caught.
it was the middle of the night when you decided to go out of your shared room — your mother was a heavy sleeper so the chances of waking her up were almost zero. quickly typing in the password of his little kind-of-room-kind-of-prison, you couldn't keep your excitement to yourself.
"hey." you said closing the door behing you. "i know you're awake. i'm not quaritch. i'm not working for the rda either – wait, do you speak english?"
he turned his face to you with an startled expression — spider had so many questions. what was a teenager doing there? and why were you talking to him in the middle of the night? you had to be lying. there was no way you didn't work for them.
"um... my name's y/n. i know this might sound strange but i find you really interesting. my mom works here, you know. she's a scientist. i'm sorry about the way you were treated by them earlier... i mean the torture and stuff." you were getting closer to him, trying to keep things friendly.
"so you came here to apologise for your mother's actions?"
"sort of. i kinda want to know more about you. but i wanted to apologise for that too, yeah." now you were next to his bed. "miles, isn't it? can i sit down?"
"it's spider. nobody calls me that." he said giving you enough space to sit beside him.
"so... spider, how are you feeling? i mean... you were raised by na'vi and now there's just... so many humans. this must be confusing."
"there's humans where i live too. i'm not an animal, y/n."
"right, sorry. it's just that this is new to me. i didn't know humans lived in pandora. my mom does everything to keep me clueless about the operation — it's not like i should be knowing something, but i just want to learn more. people treat me like an outsider here, it's so annoying."
being an outsider. the boy knew a thing or two about feeling out of place. of course you were in different situations, but he could relate to your feelings in a certain extent.
"what are you even doing here? in pandora, i mean. you're like... my age? shouldn't you be at the earth?"
you shrugged. "i didn't have anyone to take care of me back there. and i really wanted to meet the operation. i want to follow my mom's footsteps, being a scientist and all."
you and spider kept talking about your differences and about pandora the whole night: he had so much knowledge to share, even if it didn't seem like it. he told you about the fauna and flora, the natives traditions and religion, and about himself too. he was quaritch's son. well, not this quaritch. the human one — you knew about the story. the colonel's memories were transfered to an avatar once he died.
you, on the other hand, explained to him how things worked at your home planet: the animals it had (he got really interested in monkeys and dogs), the organized society, and how the earth was dying. you talked about your hopes and dreams of a better planet and how much you wanted to make you mother proud. before you knew, it was almost morning and you had to leave before someone catched you with him.
"it's getting late, i have to go. but i'll be back tomorrow if you want me to? we can talk more."
the blond smiled at you — it was good knowing someone in this hell of a place, maybe making a friend even. "i'll see you tomorrow. take care of yourself."
...
a few weeks passed since you started visiting spider. you soon became really close — it was like you were a planet he was orbiting over. the boy was constantly thinking about you, craving for your attention; you became the center of his little universe.
he paced around his room impatiently. you were late. he didn't know what time it was, but he knew you should be with him already. you always came shortly after all the lights were turned off, maybe 20 minutes later. 30, if you were feeling scared of being caught. but it felt like hours already, and there was no sign of you.
the boy sat down on his bed. "im being pathetic" he though. it was impossible for such a smart and beautiful person as you falling in love with him. and there was the fact that you were from two different words — there's no way you wouldn't take this into consideration when getting closer with him. you wouldn't leave everything you know to be with him; he wasn't enough.
soon, he heard the sound of the keys being pressed, snapping back to reality.
"spider. sorry i'm late. my mom couldn't sleep so she kept talking with me until she felt tired. im really sorry i made you wait!"
that was a lie. you mother always fell asleep right after she hopped on the bed. the real reason you didn't come earlier it was because you knew that you were falling for miles socorro. and at this point you could do nothing to stop it. laying on the bunk bed you kept debating with yourself if you should just start to avoid him. he didn't feel the same, and it would never work out anyways; you knew how loyal he was to the na'vi and specially the sully family. it was only a question of time until he could find a way to escape the base and come back to his normal life. without you.
the thought of being separated made your heart ache. how could you become so attached to someone in such a short period of time? as your mind drifted back to the thought of being far from spider, you couldn't help but give him a tight hug, trying to fight back the tears forming on the corner of your eyes.
that was the first time you hugged.
his knees felt like jelly, trembling hands resting on your back. "why are you doing this? not that i'm complaining..."
"sorry. i'm sorry. it's just that i... i've been thinking." you said, not letting go of him. it was like you were scared he was going to disappear if you did so. "your place is not here, spider. you belong with the na'vi in the forest. it's not fair what they're doing to you. but is it selfish of me to wish that we could continue together?"
the boy tightened his grip on you. "but we can. come with me."
you went silent for a second. he didn't mean that, did he? it was insane, leaving all that you knew behind — your brilliant future, your mother, the place you called home — for a boy. but at the same time, it felt right. being with spider felt right. and it didn't matter if you were in the forest, the base or the earth. as long as you were with him, anywhere felt like home. "promise me you'll always be by my side. if i go with you, you can't leave me behind. don't forget about me."
translation: don't fall in love with someone else.
he broke the hug and looked at you, putting a strand of your hair behind your ear. "are you kidding me?" spider smiled. "how could i ever leave you? i'm not that dumb, y/n. you're the most amazing person i've ever met."
now it was your turn to smile; you knew it was hard, dropping everything just to be with him. but at the same time you had this gut feeling that it was going to be worth it. you didn't know how or when you were going to do it yet, but you had each other, and it's all that mattered. getting on your tiptoes, you placed a kiss at the top of his head, stroking his cheek with you thumb.
"ill always be by your side, spider socorro."
"and i'll always be by yours, y/n"
Tumblr media
authors note: i hope this doesn't suck too much... i lowkey hate this scenario but i really wanted to give spider some love, my boy deserves it! i don't know if it's too long or rushed, i tried to fit everything that i wanted to happen in just one chapter bc i don't really feel like writing a pt two for this one, sorry.

ꜱᴜᴍᴍᴀʀʏ: Y/N, a military prodigy, raised and trained in the Marine Corps, opens her eyes to a new life as a Recombinant. Her purpose is one and one only; being General Frances Ardmore’s right hand in taming the frontier in order to set up humanity’s future home on Pandora, including eliminating resisting natives. There’s only one problem; Y/N’s predecessor has never been on Pandora. Despite this challenge, Y/N seems to face a bigger issue. She’s surrounded by incompetent idiots. The biggest idiot in question seems to be someone among her own ranks. Miles Quaritch. Even with his rank as a Colonel, Quaritch still manages to screw up his biggest mission, ruining Y/N’s and Ardmore’s hard work in the process. With it being her job, Y/N has to find a way to go about this incompetent asshole, including dealing with his unchecked attitude, inability to successfully complete a single mission, impulsive decisions and his absolute lack of professionalism. Miles on the other hand wishes this damn woman would just die. She suddenly appeared one day, charmed Ardmore, got promoted to Major General, and now she thinks she can steal all the authority he had on base, run her rude ass mouth, give him shit about every single mission and boss him around like he’s her personal bitch? Who the fuck does she think she is? They both thought the natives would be their biggest enemies, but with each other among their own ranks, they’re starting to change their minds.

This is an enemies to lovers fic.
Y/N and Miles are both comfortable with engaging in sexual activities with the same gender.
Kind of a slow burn.
There are a lot of OCs because I needed more Marines and RDA personnel.
The male Na’vi in this fic have sheath folds because you cannot tell me those fuckers have their cocks out and their crotches are still flatter than my kitchen table.
For chapters with smut, dark themes or heavy triggers I will add warnings.

Am I The Asshole for saving the life of an evil person?
This whole thing is so screwed up that I don’t even know where to start. Sorry if this is confusing.
So a couple of months ago, I (16M) was captured by the clone of my crazy dead biological father and taken to the RDA to get tortured for information. I’m an orphan, so I don’t have any living family (other than my friends, who I consider my family, but they’re 14M, 14F, and 8F so there wasn’t really anything they could do) and I knew there was no one who would come rescue me. By the time they started interrogating me, I was pretty sure I was as good as dead. I even told the enemy that they would have to kill me before I would talk. But obviously I didn’t die or I wouldn’t be here writing this. The clone saved me. We made a deal that I would act as his guide and translator and in return he would protect me from being tortured and he wouldn’t make me give up any info. I spent the next few months in the jungle teaching him and his squad how to survive in the forest and I can’t believe I’m saying this but it was kind of… nice? I guess? I dunno maybe I had stockholm syndrome or something.
But anyways, it didn’t last forever cause he eventually got a lead on his target, who just so happens to be my best friends’ dad, and we went after him. The clone did so many horrible things. He set villages on fire, hunted an innocent tulkun mother and her calf, threatened to kill people, and I think the only reason he didn’t kill anyone is because I begged him not to. When he finally tracked down my friends’ dad, he and his soldiers ended up using my friends as hostages, and the worst part is that my friends’ older brother (15M) was shot by his right hand man when he helped me and 14M escape. After that, the clone was still holding 14F hostage, and he almost got my friends’ dad to surrender, but before he could, my friends’ mom grabbed me and took me as a hostage too. She was going to kill me to avenge her son, and I thought the clone was just gonna let her do it. Taking out my friends’ dad was the only thing he seemed to care about, but to my surprise, he let 14F go after their mom cut me. Thankfully, we were all able to walk away from that without anyone else dying or getting hurt.
Now here’s the part where I’m probably the asshole. After the big battle, I found the clone drowning underwater. I knew I should've just left him to die, I really really tried to, but for some reason I just couldn’t. I saved him. I guess I felt like I owed him or something. When he realized I saved him, clone called me his son and asked me to come with him, but I just hissed at him and ran back to my friends and their parents. I haven’t told anyone what I did yet. I know I need to tell them at some point but I just don’t know how. The clone was pretty beat up so I know he won’t come back anytime soon, but one thing I know about that bastard is that he doesn’t quit. He’ll be back at some point. What should I do? Am I the asshole?

Reblogs and support greatly appreciated<3
Word count: about 2,400!
Tumblr media
The buzzing of lights was constantly harassing your new ears, sharp light blinding your upgraded vision. You groaned, rubbing your eyes to get rid of the shooting pain residing in them. Waking up in a new, bigger and blue body sure wasn’t an easy task. You couldn’t even understand why they had resurrected you to begin with, you weren’t the greatest soldier that had ever served the RDA, you were a nurse. A nurse in the Colonels squad, but still, just a nurse.
You sat at the front, in a very uncomfortably puny chair. It had been designed with the intention of serving the recombinants, but it was still way too small. On your left sat Lopez, very intrigued by his new, slightly bluer palette. He traced the pattern on his arm with his bigger thumb to distract himself from the General's boring introduction.
Zdinarsk had been placed on the chair to your right, restlessly fixing her posture, prying a new pack of chewing gum open. Your ears reacted to the sound of the wrapper being torn up, she noticed the exaggerated flick of your tail and the sudden movement of your ears. You tried playing it off, letting out a light cough to cover up your actions, but she had already caught on. She chuckled, a deep sound coming from the depths of her throat, and handed you a piece of gum. But she didn’t just give it to you, no, she gently brought the piece to your mouth, and as you opened it, slowly laid it against your tongue. Her face displayed a smirk, filled with delight as your lips closed around the gum.
The general's cough made you break eye contact with your colleague, instead shifting your attention to Ardmores disappointed stare. You sat up straight, barely noticing the soft smile that was tugging on Z’s lips.
The introduction went on for hours, and it felt as if it never stopped. Several of the RDA’s most acknowledged scientists explained basically the same thing in different formats over and over. You gnawed on your bottom lip, bored out of your mind. You noticed new things around you, the constant tapping of Ja’s boots, the popping of z-dogs gum, the continuous deep breaths of the Colonel.
You also noticed another thing, something originating from yourself, a tingling sensation in your whole body, accompanied by a raging fever. The feeling had yet to seize even by the end of the lecture, a whopping 3 hours later. It was nibbling away at your sanity, and you knew exactly what it was.
Being a military nurse, you always had a good grasp of all things relating to health. You had listened carefully when the scientists explained certain new illnesses and health phenomenons, not wanting to miss out on any important details, for the sake of the squads future. You finally concluded that you had hit the strange, animalistic phenomenon known as heat. Panic started to spread internally, a researcher had just gone on about the many consequences and repercussions and you knew you were absolutely screwed. When the meeting ended, you finally let out a frustrated sigh you had held during the entire thing.
When it was time for the assignment of dorms, the people who designed them realized that there were not enough dorms. There was one missing. Everyone else had already been given theirs, everyone except you. You could smell the fear exuding from those responsible. As if your day wasn’t already going to shit.
It was then decided that, until they could finish your dorm, you were going to have to spend a few nights in one of your comrades' dorms. Now, don’t get them wrong, the other recoms liked you, adored you even, but they were very private people. Privacy and space was very dear to them, and you completely understood that as they were all quiet when the assignors asked for someone to have you share with.
The room was completely silent for a minute or two, nobody spoke a word.
“I can take her.” Someone suddenly said, you turned around, ears perking up as you saw Z-dog. You smiled at her kind gesture, not expecting the slight smirk that was placed on her face. It made your stomach tingle, oh no.
“Perfect!” One of the humans exclaimed. No matter how large the knot in your stomach grew or how raw  the biting anxiety felt, it was greatly overshadowed by the intensifying lust, blurring your vision with a romanticizing filter.
You figured the majority of your colleagues had taken notice of your difficult situation based on the flustered look on their faces, along with the rising tents in their cargos and the longing stares on your body. You grabbed your new tail, hugging it against yourself to create a sense of security.
As the other recoms retreated to their abodes, Z-dog remained. She was waiting for you to walk with her. Your legs almost buckled and gave way as you took the few steps in her direction, she noticed and placed a gentle, but firm, hand on your arm, presumably trying to steady you. But she didn't notice the yearning in your eyes, or the goosebumps that were slowly but surely settling on your skin at the contact.
The walk to her dorm was tense, you didn’t dare speak a word to her, afraid it would come out as a whine or even worse. It was already very late, the clock in the hallway showing 11 pm. Expecting an early morning, you figured it was better to get some sleep immediately when arriving at the dorm.
It turned out to be a less successful plan, when you opened the door, you were met with a wardrobe, a bathroom, some comfortable furniture, and a single bed. One bed. You realized the danger all too late, you couldn’t back down now, you couldn’t ask any of the other recoms to share a room with either since the outcome would probably still be the same anyway.
“Hey, are you alright?” Z-dog’s voice surprised you, breaking you free from your thoughts.
You laughed nervously, playing with the hem of your shirt. “Oh yeah of course, it's nothing, I just feel a bit hot, it's hot isn't it??” That was stupid, stupid stupid stupid. If she hadn’t suspected your heat before, she was definitely suspecting it now.
/The head of the scientific field was standing in front of your squad, nervously describing the meaning of heat and how to deal with it. A rule was quickly established to prevent any dangerous risks and outcomes, if a colleague was in heat, you were obliged to help them, though in a very professional way. It was to never be spoken about again./
Z-dog brushed it off, not thinking much more of it and walking to the bathroom to clean herself up. You, however, were struggling. The heat was only increasing in ferocity, you were almost drunk on lust, but your determination was stronger.
The real challenge came when it was time to go to bed, you had laid down first after Z-dog had left the room to collect a glass of water. The tingle between your thighs was intensifying with vigor, you let out pained whines when your thighs accidentally rubbed against each other, creating the friction you were oh so desperate for.
The door opened and Z appeared in the doorframe, holding the mug in her hand. At least she hadn’t heard the soft noises you had produced, a positive result of the soundproof doors. You turned to your side, facing the gray, concrete wall. The covers rustled as the other woman got comfortable beneath the covers, a soft groan escaping her lips when she stretched. Your body reacted to the sound, making your heat throb. You tried your best to ignore it, managing to withhold it long enough for the sound of Z-dogs deep breaths to fill the room.
Tumblr media
A few hours went by, the sensation between your legs was unbearable now. You couldn’t suppress it anymore, figuring that maybe you could sneak a finger or two and not wake up the figure sleeping soundly behind you in the progress. To be honest, a part of you, buried deep in the core of your animalistic dna, wanted her to wake up, to take care of your throbbing center and whisper sweet nothings in your ear.
You cried out as two of your digits made contact with your slick, you were taken aback at the amount of wetness. It was more than you had probably ever produced in your human life. You rubbed your thumb against your clit, moaning softly at the feeling.
Completely lost in your own pleasure, you had failed to notice the movement behind you until you felt two warm, big hands slide around your waist. You flinched, letting out yet another moan at the unexpected contact.
“Oh.. I see whats wrong now.” Z-dogs voice was coarse and raspy from waking up so suddenly. “Do you need some help sweet thing?” She purred.
You nodded hastily, your sense clouded by desire for the woman pressing against your back. She moved one hand slowly down your abdomen, teasing you by tugging at the hem of your shorts. You whined, quickly scurrying out of the obstacle. You felt her soft hands sneak further down, making contact with your arousal coated folds. The moan that escaped your mouth when her thumb rubbed over your clit was so loud you were afraid every single person on the base had heard it. Z-dog laughed behind you, a low, scratchy sound that made your core clench around nothing.
“Are you really that desperate? Oh you poor thing,” she soothed, fondling your cunt, ravaging your clit with the pad of her thumb, “so needy hm? It’s okay darling, I'm here.” You cried out at that, unconsciously moving your ass to press against her crotch.
“I'm sorry sweetheart, I don’t have one of those.” Sighing, she rubbed you faster, “Might have to get one though.” She breathed. You felt a series of sloppy kisses against your neck, trailing from your shoulder to your jaw. She sucked and kissed over the bruises, marking you.
Your moans were high pitched, Z loved that you produced these sounds for her, and that she was the only one who got to hear them.
“Please, I..” You breathed out, sentence interrupted by a rough flick to your clit, followed by the massaging of one of your breasts.
“What is it baby? Come on, use your words.” You almost came at that, her voice only fueling your craving.
“I want your fingers, plea-” another interruption, “please Z…” Z-dog couldn’t stop herself, she instantly pushed two digits inside of your hole, suppressing a moan of her own when she felt the way you squeezed around her fingers.
“Jesus darling, you’ve got me in a chokehold.” You subconsciously started rolling your hips against her hand, begging for her to add another, and she did. The feeling of three big, rough fingers stretching your pussy out only made your sounds increase in volume. Z’s hand moved to your throat, choking you slightly to stop you.
“Fuck, baby I know it feels good, but you don't want any of the men barging in and stealing this moment, hm?” She questioned, while increasing the speed of her digits, pounding them into your needy core. You shook your head, she continued her assault on your neck whilst using her thumb to rub circles on your sensitive clit and her other hand to knead your breast. “Shit, you sound delicious,” she growled into your ear, “might just have to eat you up next time.”
She was continuously hitting your sweet spot with each thrust of her fingers, you felt a familiar knot starting to form in your abdomen, she could feel your cunt clenching around her, “Are you gonna be a good girl and cum for me?” You nodded hastily, eyes rolled back into your head, mouth slightly agape, drool running from the corner of it.
The knot in your stomach finally snapped with a final thrust of her digits, coating them with your slick arousal. She hummed, continuing to pump her soft fingers in and out of you, letting you ride out your orgasm. When you were done, she brought her fingers to her mouth. You heard the pop of her lips as she licked your arousal clean off, a satisfied noise following the action.
Your eyelids were heavy, threatening to close any second. You felt the warm touch of a cloth rub against the inside of your thighs, going up over your messy cunt, cleaning up the mess you made. Kisses were placed on your collarbones and shoulders, accompanied by gentle praises and compliments.
“You were such a good girl.”, “I'm so proud of you baby.”, “wow, what a mess you made, hm pretty girl?”
You quickly fell into a deep sleep, the feeling of a body pressing up against your back, hands wrapped securely around your waist. You unknowingly purred, not catching the chuckle coming from behind you.
Tumblr media
The next morning, you woke up extra early. You felt all too tired, abnormally exhausted. As you made your way to the meeting room, you received glances from random passersbys, why were they staring at you like that? You shrugged it off, continuing your strut down the narrow hallway.
When you arrived, your colleagues shared knowing glances between each other. Z sat in one of the chairs, looking mighty satisfied. You cringed a bit, vaguely remembering last night's events. However, the only chair available was the one right next to Z-dog. You hesitantly made your way to the seat, carefully sitting down, feeling the intense gazes of everyone in the room.
“So.. Y/N, I know the doors are supposed to be soundproof but.. maybe next time, make sure the door is completely closed too.” Lyle said. You felt your face heat up at the laughter that erupted from the squad. You looked over to Z, seeing that she was completely calm.
You felt her lean over to you, face getting ten times redder when she whispered, “Make sure to take good care of me when it's my turn, nurse."

SPOILERS FOR AVATAR: FRONTIERS OF PANDORA - TAP CON-1 AND THE SARENTU MOOT MASSACRE
I wanted to post my full thoughts about the game after i finished my first playthrough, but I can not just keep what I just learned in my head, so be forwarned; Spoilers ahead.
Let me just say that the entire TAP CON-1 quest made me feel... disgusting.
That word perfectly encapsulates how I felt the second I heard how they made the children shower in disinfectant, as if they were diseased. I felt gross, and messy and just absolutely disgusted.
And then the massacre happened and I was just... I don't know how to describe it. Like, I knew Alma was involved, but the way that it all just poured out. That she was there during the whole slaughter, how she admits to playing ignorant, how she let the children believe the lie that their families abandoned them and it just made me think of everything else she's done since knowing her.
She did nothing as the RDA barged into the moot and slaughtered the entire clan.
She did nothing as the children were literally shoved into cages like animals, shackled like prisoners and then washed and striped of everything that made them Sarentu.
She proceeds to teach them what she sought out to teach, knowing damn well the consequences of wanting her school program to work.
She did nothing as Mercer and Harding trained/abused the children.
She did nothing when Mercer killed Aha'ri (which should have been the breaking point at this rate)
She left the children in cyrosleep for 16 years, not once thinking to check if they were actually alive.
She proceeds to keep her secret, and even expresses confirmation in an audio log that "they made the right choice" when bringing up how the Sarentu children are adjusting to the resistance. Basically implying that she's glad her teachings worked.
She tells Ri'nela that the Kame'tire can't be trusted, alienating the clan that she indirectly ruined with her ambitions.
And when she's finally figured out and Alma's Avatar is killed, she laments about never experiencing Pandora freely anymore, as if she expects Ri'nela and MC to lament with her.
After the whole funeral, I began rummaging it around in my head, and in the end, I concluded that the death of Alma's avatar and her actions are in direct parallel to Jake's.
Jake wanted to be part of the Na'vi because he got to actually connect with it's culture and worked to become a part of it. And when he screwed up, he worked to earn the Omaticaya's forgiveness, eventually becoming a true Na'vi.
Alma pretty much already saw herself as part of the Na'vi, despite barely doing anything. When Nor happily shows them the Sarentu knife and then laments how it was kept as a trophy and Alma said it was back with "us", like she was implying herself as part of the Sarentu. And she did very little if nothing at all to amend her mistakes, instead opting to play the victim here.
I also thought about Grace here, and her own sins with her own school. But the difference there is that she actually worked to make a friendship with the Omaticaya before taking in students. And her school was out in the forest, made from wood and full of life and learning. Alma's school was indoors inside metal walls, cut off from the outside world and they were taught one-sided knowledge that boosted the RDA's image and tarnished the Na'vi's.
And then Grace's School failed, she to seemed to loose herself to her avatar, preferring her avatar body to her human,, but she never once tried to cover up her mistakes. And she tried to make things work.
Alma did nothing but cover up the truth until it couldn't be hidden anymore.
In the end, the fact that just one quest could make me feel like this and have me think about all this really shows that the story works.
So it's gameplay is a little too simular to Far Cry. Who cares? So long as the story has me feeling complex emotions like this, I will play it.
Even if the glitches get a little annoying, I still enjoy every bit of this game.
And I will post my full thoughts on the game once I've finished it.
Anyway, thanks for putting up with my train wreck of thoughts!

A New Life
Two Shot. Part 1.
Yandere! Neteyam Sully x Human! Reader x Loak Sully.
It was hard to believe your eyes as you stared blankly of the funeral rituals of the Ocean Navi.
That's right. The funeral of your Mate. Or in human regulations. Your late husband. Neteyam Sully. The mighty warrior who sacrificed his life for the safety of his siblings.
Once more.
And it got him killed at a young age.
Barely an adult.
Almost a father.
You were expecting his first half breed child. You made history as the first human to soon soon birth a new specimen.
Remembering when Neteyam was alive, he told you how he wanted unlimited children with you. One after another. Year after year.
His own clan.
That made you cringe. Earth was dying and needed resources. Vegetation and natural food especially was in dire need. As a doctor to study edible plants. Steal them and grow them in Earth. But, fate had other plans. You must have caught the attention of Neteyam. Perhaps because you can breath the Pandora air without a mask. Your mutant genes made you exceptionally healthy and beautiful.
You never expected you would commit beastiality with your kidnapper.
Neteyam was kind to you. But, he got fed up with your attitude and rebelliousness to run away. So, he would reluctantly beat you.
As expected, he broke your spirit. And eventually, you became pregnant with his baby.
Neteyam knew you wouldn't abandon or hate any child of yours no matter who the father was. He took advantage.
You couldn't go back to the RDA. Your baby will go to the scientists and studied and imprisoned for the rest of its miserable life.
No. That is cruel.
And if you did leave your child with Neteyam, he will be bullied by the other Navis and your parents will disown you for bringing disgrace upon the family once they find out.
The thought of your child being motherless and a freak will cause it to have mental illness and sadness. You didn't want that. The love you had for your weird child made you stop attempting to leave your capturer.
You bitterly bid good bye to Earth.
Your new life began. Like an empty shell, you let Neteyam thrust into you. You responded to his kisses and closed your eyes. Pretending he was someone else to moan.
Neteyam was no fool. He wanted you to naturally love him and forgive him.
He was mean to you. But, you were mated with him by the decree of the Great Mother.
You told him that you were hated by many. Women out of envy. And the men tried to use you for carnal desires only.
Neteyam tried to tell you he loves you despite being a foreigner and odd. But, you were betrayed before and had trust issues. You were so stupid. Neteyam rolled his eyes. Screw it. He beat you and ignored the pain in his heart.
Then finally, he tamed you in your womb.
When his father's enemies came back as Navis, of course, he made you come with him to the ocean tribes.
He could say good bye to his friends and Grandma but not you or his future unborn child.
Neteyam had it worst than the others in his family. His mate was a demon.
Protecting you was harder than he did in the forest. He was no longer the son of the chief. But, a normal citizen.
No respect.
As the months dragged, Neteyam watched you swell more.
You wished either you and your baby die or him.
God answered your prayers. But... Some strange reason... You weren't happy he was dead
In fact, you wished you died with him.
What have you become?

@recom-week Day#2 - “Gift”🔩✨
Tumblr media
Credits for the inspiration of this piece proudly go to the magnificent @tsukioreo as a collaborative response piece to her writing piece that is yet to see the public light and a reason I cannot elaborate much on the aforementioned work for this prompt. 💛
What is for sure is that Swiz did not expect the surprise that came to him alongside of finding a brand new RDA drone, and the story that could have been alike a dark tale about the big bad wolf turned brighter upon a sealed deal with the youth, promising to keep a little secret.
I’d say gifting old useless metal bolts with silly carved patterns on them is quite a special way to say “screw you”… yet I promise it’s not something he entirely meant in mind. :’)

“Useless” and “Troubled” until the End: Pt. 3
Sully Family x “Useless” Fourth Child Male Reader
Summary: Y/N was taken captive by Quaritch’s Na’vi Recombinant squad and is being used as leverage against the Sully family to get Jake to come out of hiding. The Sullys stage a rescue to save the youngest boy of the family. Once Y/N is rescued, tension in the family reaches new limits when they are forced to leave their home and seek refuge at the isolated islands where the Metkayina clans live.
Warning: Violence, blood, injuries, saving family, home abandonment, family arguments, etc.
This time, I’m going to make a few attempts with the Na’vi language, but no promises I won’t completely fuck up with it. I apologize in advance for this.
(Play this music during some of the scenes of you want, I thought it worked as it kinda sounds like it fits in. IDK about you guys, but that’s just me.)
Tumblr media
— Y/N POV
I silently wince as I come to from passing out Eywa only knows how long ago and try to clutch my head with my hand, but my hands are currently tied behind my back. I blink a few times to see what’s going on only to be meet face to face with the man who abducted me with the rest of his squad around the area patrolling or sitting down while they idly chat with one another. I quickly look around to see where an an old abandoned Sky-People base. I then hear the guy who abducted me from before start to speak to me.
Quaritch: Well, it’s about time you woke up, you little shit. How was your little nap?
He looks at me expectingly for me to speak up and I don’t give him the satisfaction of getting that response. I just look what him with a neutral look on my face as I raise one eyebrow as if to say I’m bored and over this shit right now.
Tumblr media
(This is what I had in mind for how Y/N’s face looks like right now.)
The Na’vi man gets pissed off at this and decided to try to get me to talk. He grabs my wounded shoulder from the bullet that luckily went all the through and dug his claws into the wound, making me grunt in pain and curse at him under my breath in the Na’vi language.
Y/N: Pxa Ngengeya. (I think I translated it to Screw you?, IDK, please correct if I’m wrong.)
Quaritch: What’s the matter? Daddy never teach you English? Don’t fuck around, kid. I know you know how to speak English.
Y/N: You got me there, asshole. Now, what the fuck is it that you want from me?!
Quaritch: Oh, it’s not you that I’m after. It’s your father. He stabbed the RDA in the back and his mate killed my human body. I’m here to enact my revenge and you’re the perfect bait for the job.
Y/N: Watch it there, jackass. There’s a few things you should know. One: Dad could not give a single fuck about me hence why I even came of here in the first place so you’re out of luck there already. Two: Even if you were to torture me to get me to talk, I ain’t telling any of you jackshit because I’m already used to pain like from my shoulder right now. I’m pretty sure the girl who I shot that is getting patched up over there knows what I mean from how it hurts to get shot…
Walker: Quaritch! Shut the kid up for me, will ya?
Quaritch, from what I heard my captors call him, looked at to his soldier, giving an unamused look and told Walker, from what I heard him call her, to shut her trap. He turned back yo me with said unamused before he backhanded me across the face. I feel the sting from the pain as my head recoiled from the slap force and I look back at him unimpressed as I continue to not give a single fuck about any of these guys. He looks at me a little impressed as I didn’t show signs of fear or pain for him to get satisfaction from.
Y/N: Was that it? Surely, you have something else.
Quaritch: Oh, there’s much worse to come, kid. Just you wait?
He chuckled before he started to punch me a few times before he spoke again while getting close to my face.
Quaritch: Well, you still want to try your luck again or do you want to cool your jets, kid?
I looked him square in eyes and spat out blood all over his face.
Y/N: Fuck off.
I knew all that did was piss him off before he had one of his soldiers come over to keep watch over me so I didn’t try anything stupid while he grabbed a cloth and wiped his face clean. Next thing I know, the soldier grabbed me by my braids again and pulled me off to a corner of the base, leaving me there as he went back to sitting in a chair as he watched me closely. Little did he know, I grabbed a knife from his pocket and started to slowly cut away at my ties until the straps around my wrists broke. I smirk at the guy as he looks at me in shock as I pull my now freed hands in front of me and toss his knife onto the floor in front of him. I lay out comfortably and then rub my wounded left shoulder with my right hand and I feel the bleeding starting to stop and see the blood that went down my left arm. I roll my eyes at the blood on my arm, knowing Dad is probably going to get pissed that I got myself hurt yet again and Mom will be worried like nobody’s business about the wound. I think back to my siblings and close my eyes, letting out a small prayer for their safety and open my eyes back up to be met face to face with a pistol aimed at me by the Quaritch guy from before.
Quaritch: How in the fuck did you get free?!
I look at him with disinterest and just point to his subordinate that only now picked up his loose knife.
Y/N: I figured I’d get comfy since I’m probably going to be here for a while.
Quaritch was now very pissed of and grabbed me by my wounded left shoulder before he dragged me into a medbay room that he had converted into a small cell to contain me. He threw me into the room before closing and locking the door, leaving me with a once again bleeding shoulder from him digging his claws into it. I get up to dust myself off and I just look at all of the Recom soldiers over my shoulder through the glass wall that allowed me to see them and vice versa. I just flip them all off before turning my back to them and start searching through all the drawers in the small cell for anything I can possibly use as medical for my shoulder. I managed to find some bandages in the cell and wrapped them tightly around my shoulder, the white bandage wrap immediately turning red as blood hits the bandages. I rolled my shoulder to make sure that the wrap was secure and it actually relieved me of some pain. I continued to search around and found an old smoke grenade that I can possibly use should the opportunity arise. I put it into a small bag I keep hidden on my person before concluding my search of my cell.
I then remember something I had almost forgotten about something I had in my ear that I rarely use. I have an earpiece that I took from some skeleton that was strapped to some sort of weird mech suit I found in the middle of the Pandora jungle and modified it using tech I scavenged from Sky-people bases. I modded it enough to the point where I could fit said earpiece into my ear without any discomfort. Praying that my cell is soundproof, I put my finger to the earpiece and flip to an open frequency to try calling my brothers on their communicators.
Y/N: Hello? Hello? Can anyone on this frequency hear me?
Neteyam: Y/N?!? Is that actually you, brother?
Y/N: Yeah, it’s me.
Lo’ak: Holy shit! Are you alright?
Y/N: -sighs heavily before replying to my brothers- Yeah, for the most part apart from my shoulder hurting like a bitch from getting shot. Luckily, I found some bandages to wrap it for now until I can get it properly treated. I’m currently being held in a cell inside of some sort of old abandoned Sky-people base or some shit.
Neteyam: Y/N, I need to tell me who is it that is holding you prisoner.
Y/N: I think I overheard that name of the leader of this squad was—
Before I was able to finish my was that my earpiece was roughly taken from my ear by someone behind me, which caused me to let out a whimper of pain due to my ears being very sensitive unlike most Na’vi. I had turned around to see it was that Recom Na’vi that I had shot through the shoulder earlier.
Walker: Well, looks like we found out little rat trying to call for help.
Neteyam on the earpiece: Y/N? Y/N! Are you there?!
Lo’ak on the earpiece: Bro? Little brother?! Are you okay?!
Walker: You won’t be needing this anymore.
Walker, as I remember the Quaritch guy calling her, then turned the earpiece off and put it into her pocket before she grabbed me by my neck, slightly choking me.
Walker: You any other toys or shit you want to try with me?
Y/N: Oh, why don’t you go fuck yourself, you skxawng? (I’m pretty sure skxawng translates to idiot in the Na’vi language.. again, please correct me if I’m wrong.)
Walker got a bit mad at what I said and kneed me in the stomach before dropping me to the floor.
Walker: If it were up to me, you’d be dead and not being used as bait, you troubled useless fuckhead.
Y/N: Pxa Ngengeya. (Still not sure if this is screw you in the language.)
Walker walked out of the cell and closed the cell door. I silently gave her the middle finger before I went to the bed that was in the cell and laid down on it to get as comfy as I can during my time as a prisoner. My tail swished contently while my ears flattened against my head as I finally got comfortable on the patient bed. I remember that I had something in my pocket that I think could make me smile in this dark time. I put my hand into the small bag I put the smoke grenade into earlier and pull out a photo, something taken by what Dad had brought with him that he called a camera that was from his home planet, leaving the photo as the result of the camera.
I unfold the photo to see it was of me, Lo’ak, Neteyam, Kiri, and Tuk all riding Ikrans together when we were all younger. Neteyam had Tuk in front of him as Tuk flew with him on his Ikran. Kiri had me in front of her as I flew with her on her Ikran. This was before I had bonded with Ro’nea. Lo’ak was flying his own Ikran and was showing off when Dad took the photo of all of us together. I smile at the photo as it’s one of the few happy moments I can fondly look back at. I fold the photo back up and put it back into my bag. I then roll over onto my side when I grab my grandfather’s necklace and my songcord that were both nestled around my neck. I let out a prayer to Eywa for strength and comfort, letting down my walls to show I’m really just a broken kid that wants to just like my family and I can’t even find a place amongst my own family or clan. I let some tears silent fall down my face before I let go of my necklace and close my eyes as I begin to sing my songcord, which does not have many beads on it. The five beads represent my five biggest life milestones, the first bead representing when Tuk was born, the second bead representing my first ever lone hunt with a kill on a sturmbeest, the third bead representing when I found my secret location of the lake, the fourth bead representing the success I’ve had with my self training, and the fifth and final bead representing when I bonded with Ro’nea. I finish singing, letting my mind drift off without my noticing that the Quaritch guy came into myself. I was ripped out of my thoughts when he grabbed me by my braids this time and pulled me out of the cell with an evil grin on his face.
— Elsewhere with the Sully siblings, 3RD PERSON POV —
We can currently see Neteyam running to where he knew Lo’ak, Kiri, and Tuk were now hiding at. He is currently having many thoughts going through his head about Spider and his youngest brother, many of those thoughts involving rescue missions. He shakes his head to clear his head as he finally reaches the tree where his siblings were at. He sees Kiri, Lo’ak, and Tuk all sitting around a small fire Lo’ak has started. Neteyam reaches them and sits down between Tuk and Lo’ak as he breathes in and out very heavily from running.
Kiri: I’m glad to see that you’re alright, Neteyam.
Lo’ak: I’m glad you’re okay, bro.
Neteyam: Yeah….
Tuk looks around before she spoke up to her big siblings.
Tuk: Where’s Y/N at? I don’t see him with you, Nete.
Neteyam: Y/N’s in big trouble…..he was also taken by those same people that took Spider.
Lo’ak got extremely pissed at what he just learned.
Lo’ak: Goddamnit!!!
Lo’ak then slammed his hand down onto the log he was sitting on.
Lo’sk: Ow…
Tuk: No. No!!!
Tuk ran to Kiri who hugged her little sister.
Kiri: So. What now?
Neteyam: We need to think of something we can do to get our brother and our friend back. However, I managed to recover his bow, quiver of arrows, and his knife.
Right at that moment, Lo’ak and Neteyam’s communicators then went off as they received a surprise call.
Y/N: Hello? Hello? Can anyone in this frequency hear me?
Everyone’s heads perked up in shock of hearing their brother’s voice over the communicator.
Y/N: I think I overheard that name of the leader of this squad was—
The siblings then heard some static as well as a help of pain they knew came from their brother before they heard an unknown voice.
Walker: Well, looks like we found out little rat trying to call for help.
Neteyam: Y/N? Y/N! Are you there?!
Lo’ak: Bro? Little brother?! Are you okay?!
Walker: You won’t be needing this anymore.
The call was then cut off as the earpiece was shut off.
Neteyam: Y/N? Y/N?!? Dammit!!
Kiri: So what now?
Neteyam: I hate to say it, but we’ll have to go home and tell Dad and Mom what happened.
Lo’ak: No kidding, especially with all the shit going on.
Kiri: Well, it’s getting close to Eclipse. We better get going.
The siblings call long and loudly for their Ikrans when they notice something strange. The fully white Ikran they saw their brother riding fly over to them before landing next to their own Ikrans. They fully saw what Ro’nea looked like up close: the red scar across her yellow left eye that is visible against her white skin, the harness and saddle on her from her rider, Y/N, the holder for Y/N’s bow and arrows, and how much bigger she is compared to the average Ikran like their own. All the siblings were amazed at the sight of a white Ikran before them considering just how rare it was see one and even rarer to be able to bond with one.
Neteyam: I’ll be damned…
Kiri: I never thought I’d ever see a white Ikran up close before.
Kiri went up to her Ikran and told her to head off home before her Ikran took off. Kiri then went towards Ro’nea’s underside and gently scratched her on the neck as Ro’nea lets out a whimper like she was missing something before looking at the Sully children. Kiri reads the beast’s body language and concludes that Ro’nea is worried about her rider just as much as the Sullys were worried about Y/N, proving the bond that Y/N and Ro’nea share is special. She goes around to Ro’nea’s front and puts her hand onto the Ikran’s snout/nose before rubbing the Ikran’s muzzle.
Kiri: I understand your pain, you’re just as worried about him as we are. I promise you that we will get him back.
Ro’nea understood what Kiri just said to her and allowed Kiri to step onto her to ride home. Tuk follows Kiri onto Ro’nea and sits down in front of her big sister. Kiri lets Ro’nea take control as her brothers get onto their Ikrans. Ro’nea takes off and the boys follow suit as they take off. Kiri and Tuk both let Ro’nea lead the fly as she gracefully soars through the air.
— 30 minutes later at the Sully Home —
— Still 3RD PERSON POV
We see the Sully children finally descend to their home with their parents looking out of the window carved into the tree and come out at the sound of wings flapping as well as the sight of the white Ikran. They run out, hoping to see their youngest boy and are worried when they don’t see him anywhere.
Jake: Neteyam, Lo’ak! Where’s your brother?
Neteyam: I’m going to need you to hold on for a minute, Dad. We should have Tuk go inside due to the nature of the situation me and Lo’ak need to discuss with you and Mom.
Kiri: I got it. Tuk, come on, let’s go get some sleep.
Tuk: I just hope that Y/N is back and okay in the morning… -she rubs her eyes tiredly-
Neytiri gives a suspicious look to her youngest child as Tuk let that sentence slip out of her mouth.
Kiri: Don’t worry, Tuk, he’ll be okay, I promise.
Kiri manages to get Tuk inside before Tuk climbed into Y/N’s hammock for comfort to sleep better and fell asleep almost instantaneously. Kiri came back out to talk with everyone.
Krir: She’s asleep, now, let’s get back to it.
Jake: So what the hell happened?
Neytiri: Where is your brother?
Neteyam: He was ta—
At that moment, Jake’s communicator came to life with an incoming call from an unknown source. Jake looked at his sons and daughter in curiosity as they had grim looks on their faces frim what he could tell. He answered the call to hear an all too familiar voice coming in.
Quaritch: Jake Sully. You remember me? Your old commander?
Jake’s fears came to light as he immediately knew who it was that was on the other end of his communications call, a horrified look immediately coming to his face as his blood ran cold. He prayed to Eywa that his now worst fear was not what he thought as he continued to listen to the call.
Quaritch: I have something that belongs to you. Perhaps you recognize these sounds.
Loud screams of pain could then be heard over the loud sound of something electrical sounding. Jake assuming it was some sort of taser that was making the electrical noise and he knew instantly who was making the screams.
Quaritch: That’s right, we have your son. If you want him and your human friend bacj, you need to hand yourself over to us in return for the boy. I expect to see you tomorrow morning at an abandoned base, you try anything funny, your boy is a goner. Make your choice by tomorrow. Goodbye.
Quaritch hangs up the call and Jake is left speechless for the first time in ages. Neytiri has tears coming to her eyes at the sound of her son being tortured by the Recoms. Neteyam, Kiri, and Lo’ak all worry about what is happening with their little brother.
Jake: Shit……
Neytiri: We need to get our son back!
Jake: We’ll get moving in the morning. Everyone, to bed now.
Neytiri: Jake, we need to talk.
Jake: Alright. Kids, head in to bed.
The Sully children go inside their home, leaving their parents alone outside.
Neytiri: What are we going to do?
Neytiri starts to break down at the reality of her son being in great danger at the hands of one of her worst adversaries. Jake shuddered at the thought of his son in danger at the hands of Quaritch.
Jake: I don’t know yet. But I promise you, Ney, we will get our son back.
The two then hug before Jake spoke up again.
Jake: Let’s get some sleep and come up with a plan at dawn.
They head back inside the home.
— Later the next day, with Y/N —
— Y/N POV
I tiredly rub my ribs in pain from earlier due to being kept up all night while being tortured by my captors. Being tased, beaten with a baton multiple times, kicked in the ribs, you get the idea. I’m just happy I’m used to any and all sorts of pain from my years of training myself. I lay back on my cell floor to let myself rest and I then hear the cell door open. I sigh and look to see Walker there, pointing her rifle at me.
Walker: Get up. NOW!
Y/N: Fuck you too.
I get up slowly before Walker gets behind me and puts the barrel of her gun to the back of my head.
Walker: Move. Now.
Y/N: Alright, alright. -Under his breath: Fucking pricks can’t seem to lay off for five fucking minutes-
I walked out the cell to see all the Recom soldiers geared up and ready to leave.
Walker: Here he is, boss.
Quaritch turned to our direction and smiled smugly. Man, I wanted to wipe that grin off his face, but I need to bide my time for now until I can find a chance to escape. I saw Quaritch still had my earpiece with him as he held it in his hand and he then turned away to address his squad.
Quaritch: EVERYBODY LISTEN UP!!! We have approximately twenty minutes until the targets get here. I want two teams of two hiding for an ambush. Get ready for anything to happen! All clear?
Recoms: Yes sir!!
Quaritch: Good! Now, get to positions!!!
I watched as the soldiers got into their positions when I saw Quaritch turn back to me until I saw something out of the corner of my eye. I squinted at the tree line and saw that it was Mom and Dad with some members of my clan. I smirk mentally because I know these guys are fucked. I look back at Quaritch to only have Walker grab me by my braids and drag me to where Quaritch wanted me at. I kick her in the gut to get her off me before Mansk and Sean Fike pointed their guns at me as Walker got back from me kicking her. I glared back at them as I sat down where Quaritch wanted me at and I calm and coldly replied to then.
Y/N: Oh fuck off. I only did so she would stop being a major bitch. I already shot her in the shoulder and I thought that would get the idea of fucking with me through her head, but it apparently didn’t.
I then flipped the two off before I went back to not giving a fuck to any of these Recom guys. I turn again to where I last saw Mom and Dad to see Mom looking at me with a look of shock at what she overheard me say about handling a gun and looked worried when her eyes landed on my shoulder that has the bloody bandage wrap around it. while Dad just had a look of “You’re going to be in trouble when we’re back home, Soldier”. I roll my eyes at Dad’s look and just wait. I did see Mom pull an arrow and ready it on her bow, waiting for an opportunity to strike. I say a small prayer to hopefully gauge a react from one of these guys to give Mom a clean shot at one of them and it works way too well.
Sean Fike: Hey! You better shut up before I—
I smile as I saw the arrow from Mom’s bow fly and make its new home in Sean Fike’s head, killing him with everyone looking around frantically as they watched their friend die. I quickly take the opportunity to grab the smoke grenade from my bag and pulled the pin.
Y/N: Sorry to do this to you asshats, but I have no part in this bullshit.
I drop the grenade to the ground as the area quickly enveloped in smoke and I run, grabbing a pistol from Fike’s dead body as I ran.
Tumblr media
(The pistol)
I managed to make it far enough away from the base that I knew I would be safe for the most part, but I was then tackled from behind, knocking me to the ground. I fight against the person’s grip on my neck to strangle me from behind and I managed to roll onto my back, allowing me to see my attacker who was Walker as he continued to strangle me. I first felt pain right in my right arm as I knew my arm became dislocated at the shoulder from when she knocked me down. I soon felt my breath starting to fade as I try to quickly think of a way to free myself, I remember the pistol, but it was knocked away from me. I decide to fight dirty and spit into Walker’s face before I punched her across the face. I got up and ran over to where the pistol was before I grabbed it with my left hand, my non-dominant hand, and shot Walker through the shoulder again which knocked her down to the ground. I ran over to her and started to hit her over the head with the pistol until she was not moving. I got up, realizing I actually killed Walker and closed my eyes. I then let out many deep breathes as I catch my breath and was about to turn my attention to my dislocated right arm when I heard a very familiar voice shout out to me.
Neteyam: Y/N!!
I looked to see my both of my brothers coming my way with them both giving me death grip hugs, afraid I might disappear from in front of them. They only let go when they heard me groan in pain from everything my body has gone through in the last hours. They are horrified at the shape of my body covered with blood stains, wounds, burns, and bruises.
Lo’ak: Holy shit, bro! Are you good?
Y/N: It could be worse. It’s definite not as bad as her.
I point to the body of Walker who I had just killed without realizing. Both of my brothers look to where I pointed and saw the corpse of the Recom before their eyes widened at the sight of my handiwork.
Neteyam: Holy hell! Remind to me never piss you off, little brother.
Lo’ak: Fucking hell, bro.
Y/N: Back to matters, what the hell are you guys doing here?
Neteyam: Mom and Dad wanted us to get you out of here while they distracted the Recoms that took you prisoner.
Y/N: Hold that thought. Someone is coming.
Without looking, I pointed my left hand with pistol still in hand and fired five rounds off in the direction of the rustling I heard. I then hear the sound of bullets hitting flesh before the loud thump of a body hitting the floor. I turn to see I successfully gunned down another Recom soldier, I think this one was named Warren, but I could not care about that. I shot his body one more time with a bullet in between the eyes and spat on his corpse.
Y/N: Fuck you.
Neteyam and Lo’ak both watched as I grabbed three extra mags and an extra holster from Warren’s body. I got back up from kneeling and fit the holster to my leg before I place my now new pistol into said holster. I went back over to where my brothers are when Neteyam just noticed how badly positioned my right arm was.
Neteyam: Y/N! Your arm!
Y/N: I almost forgot about that. Do either of you have a knife or something I can use?
Lo’ak: Here.
Lo’ak hands me a blade that I recognize to be my knife and I nod to him. I place the blade of my knife into my mouth before I bit down onto it. I grip my right wrist with my left hand before breathing out heavily and swiftly pull my arm down, realigning the set and getting my arm back into place. There was a crack at this sound which made Neteyam and Lo’ak a small bit disgusted. I just grunt loudly at the quick pain and bit down a bit harder onto my knife before the pain fades. I take my knife out of my mouth and sheathe it away into its sheathe. I roll my right shoulder without any pain and squeeze my hand.
Neteyam: I’ll never understand how you can go through so much body punishment without much pain.
Y/N: You get used to it. Take a look at my shoulder for example.
Lo’ak only now noticed the bloody bandage wrap around my left shoulder and winced.
Lo’ak: Dude! Oh, before I forget.
Lo’ak hands me my bow and quiver of arrow. I attach my quiver to my back and sling my bow onto the catch, securing it to the quiver.
Y/N: Enough chatter, what’s the play?
Neteyam: We need to reach our Ikrans quickly.
Y/N: Lead the way.
We start running to where Lo’ak and Neteyam had their Ikrans near the edge of a high up cliff over looking the ocean. It was only then that some Recom soldiers caught up with us and started shooting at us. Lo’ak and Neteyam quickly get onto their Ikrans and started flying over the edge when Neteyam shouted to me.
Neteyam: Come on, man! Grab my hand!
Y/N: There’s no time! Go! Get out of here! I’ll be fine!
Lo’ak: We’re not leaving you again! Come on!
Y/N: FUCK IT!
I run to the edge and jump off the cliff when I whistle long and loud for Ro’nea, praying that she is nearby. Lo’ak had started flying down to catch me when a blur of white swiftly flew past them and fly underneath me. I land on the blue to reveal it was Ro’nea. I climb into her saddle and connect my queue to Ro’nea’s queue, allowing us to bond once again. Neteyam and Lo’ak look at the two of us in shock at how much trust there is between me and Ro’nea to where I will do blind jumps to call for Ro’nea with her coming right away. I looked at them as they saw me with the much bigger white Ikran. I nod to them before I let Ro’nea take control and take me home.
— 3 hours later, at the Sully Hometree —
— Y/N POV
I grab a bowl of medicine that my grandmother had left for me to use. My brothers were currently out doing things for the clan as Kiri and Tuk were helping me change the bandages around my shoulder and patch up the rest of my body. I tear off the bloody bandages from scoop some of the medicine out of the bowl and place some of it into the hole ripped into my left shoulder. Kiri passed me clean leaf bandages and Tuk helps me wrap it up. I roll my left shoulder and sigh at the relief I feel on the pain. I scoop out some more medicine and rub it over my chest before I feel the medical effects of the medicine relief pain from my chest. I thank my sisters for the help before I get up and start walking towards the entrance of our Hometree.
Kiri: Y/N, just be careful, okay?
Y/N: Of course, sis.
I start to climb down the tree and walk a small distance to where I saw Ro’nea lounging around near a small river. She perked up at the sight of seeing me and gave me a look saying “I’m happy you’re okay, friend. I smiled at her as I continued over to where she was at and sat down next to her as Ro’nea laid down next to me, wrapping one of her wings around me. I got comfy next to her while it starts raining and I suddenly feel the exhaustion from everything in the last day and a half hit me hard. From the pain in my leg to getting shot in the shoulder to being tortured for a whole night. I’m just happy that Ro’nea’s wing keeps me cover from the rain due to her being much bigger she is than most Ikrans. Ro’nea pulled me closer to her using her wing and I fell right to sleep as Ro’nea kept me company. Little did I know that my parents were looking for me before they saw me asleep cuddled up to Ro’nea.
— 3RD PERSON POV
Jake and Neytiri arrived after making sure the Recoms won’t be back soon, but Jake knew they would come back more dangerous than ever. Jake knew they would need to leave their home.they arrived home with their oldest sons in tow landing behind them. They all went into the tree in search of the young Sully boy with no sight of him anywhere inside. Nobody was there apart from Kiri playing with Tuk.
Jake: Kiri. Where’s your brother?
Kiri: He went down to the river a little bit down from the Tree.
Neytiri: Let’s go find him.
Jake: -sighs loudly with pinching his nose- Of course, he is….let’s go.
Jake and Neytiri jump down from branch to branch before they get to the ground and make their way to where they know their son likes to relax at as it starts raining.
Neytiri: I just hope Y/N is okay.
Jake: He will be. But I’m going to need to have words with him in the morning.
The two finally reach the river where they see the massive white Ikran that they knew was their son’s and went over to Ro’nea. They saw Ro’nea turn to them before she growled and screeched at them when she saw them, revealing Y/N being asleep next to her as she kept her left wing around her rider. Both Neytiri and Jake were shocked at this behavior and Neytiri slowly approached Ro’nea, letting the Ikran study her movements before she got close enough to Ro’nea that she was able to rub her head.
Neytir: Sssshhhh. Ssssshhhh, it’s okay. We mean no harm.
Ro’nea calmed down at this and knew that the two meant no trouble. She let the two get closer to her snd Y/N while Jake slowly picked up his son bridal style. Neytiri rubbed Ro’nea’s head as she was happy that her son to pass the Iknimaya trial with obtaining such a beautiful and special Ikran, but she regrets never being there for son when he had to do it in secret. Jake looks at Ro’nea in admiration of the special bond she shares with his son and he also feels the guilt and regret for not being there for his son more than he ever was. Jake carried his sleeping son to the Hometree and brought him inside. Neytiri finished rubbing Ro’nea’s head and start to go where Jake when to when she heard Ro’nea screech at her. Turning around, Neytiri saw Ro’nea give her a look saying “You need to think about him as well” before she took off to where she would go until Y/N needs her again. Neytiri made her way back to the Hometree where she saw something that made her heart melt. She saw Jake in their hammock with Y/N sleeping soundly on his chest like he used to when he was much younger. She walked over and climbed in next to Jake as the two held their youngest son with thoughts about how they failed him throughout his life before they drifted off to sleep.
— the next day —
— Y/N POV
I felt oddly at peace as I came back to the world of the awake from my land of dreams. I got up to only see I was in Mom and Dad’s hammock alone with everyone else sitting around a table with serious looks on their faces. Tuk saw that I was up as I rubbed my eyes in exhaustion from still being exhausted and she got excited.
Tuk: Y/N is awake!
Everyone looked towards me as I got out of the hammock. I look at them confused and worry that I’m in massive trouble.
Y/N: What the hell is going on?
Neytiri: First off, watch your mouth….secondly, please take a seat.
I shrug and take the remaining open seat between Kiri and Tuk.
Jake: So. Because of what happened with Spider being captured by the RDA, unfortunately, we need to exile ourselves from the Otamikaya clan and flee to the eastern seaboards of Pandora. We can’t risk him giving up where we are. I know of another clan of Na’vi that are out there. They go by the Metkayina.
I was shocked to hear this as was everyone else. But I understood where Dad was going at with the situation.
Kiri: There’s no way Spider will tell them anything.
Jake: Kiri, we can’t leave anything to chance. This is the only way for the safety of the family. I want everyone to get ready with your things in twenty minutes. Now, go get ready.
I noticed Tuk start to look like she was going to cry so I got up and went over to her before I gave her a big hug. She hugged me back as she started to cry a bit and I picked her up before bringing her outside so she can calm down. I bounce her on my hip while I hold her because I know it helps soothe her. I managed to get her to settle down before she asked to be let down. I let her down and get down onto one knee.
Tuk: I don’t want to leave….
Y/N: Oh Tuk….I know how you feel, but it’s what Dad thinks will be best for us all.
Tuk: I know….
Y/N: How about this: I’ll help you pack up your things and if you’re okay by the time we leave, you can ride with me on Ro’nea.
Tuk looked at me a bit confused.
Tuk: Who’s Ro’nea?
Y/N: My special white Ikran. You can ride on her with me if you’re okay by the time we leave, does that sound like a plan to you, Tuk?
Tuk: Yes!!
I smile at her as she grins back at me and I grab her small hand.
Y/N: Come on, let’s get your things together.
Tuk eagerly pulls me by my hand to go back inside as we get her things together. I’m just happy that the only things I’ll need to grab is my knife and my journal, Ro’nea has my bow and quiver with her.
— 20 minutes later —
— still Y/N POV
I finished getting Tuk’s things together before I brought her bag over to dad’s Ikran and tied it to Bob’s saddle. I went back inside the Hometree for the last time and grab my journal from my old pillow before I place it into my small hidden bag and then grab my new pistol. I place it into the holster I took from Warren and out the three extra mags I took from him as well into my small bag. I then walk back out to see everyone else is ready to go when Kiri and Mom call for me and Tuk.
Neytiri: Come on, Y/N, you’re riding with me. Tuk, you’re with your sister.
Kiri: Come on, Tuk.
Y/N: I got it, Mom. Give me a minute.
I whistle long and loudly as I run towards the edge of the branches and jump off, freefalling like before when Ro’nea catches me like just like she always does. She lifts me up to where I can see my family and they stare at me in silent thought. Kiri has a surprised look on her face from my little stunt while my brothers look at me impressed and my parents look at me with odd looks on their faces. Ro’nea gently lands and Tuk is very excited when she ran over to us.
Y/N: Tuk, so I need you to be careful climbing onto Ro’nea, okay?
Tuk: Okay.
I help Tuk onto Ro’nea and help her get settled. Once that’s done, I look over to Dad who is looking at me impressed. I shake my head at him and connect my queue to Ro’nea’s queue. It only dawned onto my family that I have so much trust with Ro’nea and vice versa, that I sometimes don’t even connect my queue to allow Ro’nea to have full control of flying. Dad pulls himself out of his stupor before he got onto Bob and we all took off.
After many hours of flying, it turned to night as my family and I all flew across the vast sea. I looked down to see Tuk asleep in front of me. I smiled at this sight and made sure she was comfortable as we continued to fly to wherever we were going. I then started to mindlessly sing a small song I had made in regards to myself, not noticing that my family was watching me sing to myself.
Y/N:
No place to belong….
Countless times I’ve ran…
Countless number of wrongs….
Go to where it began….
I have no proper place…
I’m a lone kid…
I’m nothing, but a disgrace…
Eywa amid…..
I’m always ignored…
I’m treated as a failure…
The many punishments I’ve endured….
For the many times I dive head first into danger…
I always end up red and beaten…
It’s hard when you don’t have a single friend…
No way to remain unbeaten…
I’m just Useless and Troubled until the end.
— 3RD PERSON POV
Y/N’s family looked at him as he sang his small song. Neteyam and Lo’ak looked at their little brother in silence, not sure of what to think at how their brother views himself. Kiri just wished she paid more attention to how her little brother felt and saw himself. She really wished she could give him a hug right now and tell him it’ll be alright. Neytiri looked at Y/N in sorrow as she knew her son was broken and wanted to scoop him up to tell him everything will be better. Jake looked at him with many thoughts going through his head, knowing he failed in raising his youngest boy the right way and he failed him as a father.
— the next day —
— Y/N POV
After flying for many hours, I finally saw the big islands that was the home of the Metkayina clan. I saw many of the clan members coming to the beach as we land our Ikrans. They look at Ro’nea the longest as she’s probably the first white Ikran they’ve ever seen. I rub her head and she wraps a wing around me. The leader and tsahìk of the clan push their way through the crowd until the two reach the front where my family and I are staying.
???: Who are you?
Jake: My name is Jake Sully and my mate, Neytiri, and this is our family.
??: Why are you here?
Neytiri: War has been brought upon our people and we needed to find refuge for our family away from the war. We just want our family to be safe.
???: Well, allow us to introduce ourselves. I’m Tonowari and this is my wife, Ronal. I’m the leader of this clan,
Tonowari reluctantly smiled at all of us with made me feel a bit better. However, when I turned my back to scratch Ro’nea on her neck, I saw Ronal, out the corner of my eye, look at my family apprehensively before she glared at me. I saw her look all over my body at my many bruises, cuts, and the bandage wrap around my shoulder, probably disgusted at the shape of my body from the events of the other day. I then saw her glance at my hand which has five fingers in comparison tho the normal four fingers of typical Na’vi. I get a bit concerned about this and Kiri notices my odd look before coming over to me with her grabbing my hand and squeezing it. I gave her a silent thank you with a nod of my head before Ronal came over and grabbed both my wrist and Kiri’s wrist, holding our hands up.
Ronal: They have demon blood in them! How can we be sure that war won’t come here?!
The clan members all started talking amongst one another and then turned back to us when I roughly pulled my hand away from Ronal and glared at her before I hissed.
Y/N: Don’t even try to touch me like that ever again!
Ronal glared down at me while I returned the gesture with everyone else watching the exchange in stunned silence before Dad pushed me behind him with Kiri getting in front of me protectively while Ro’nea wrapped her wing around me protectively. Kiri and Ro’nea have always been the ones to be the most protective of me.
Jake: Forgive my son. He’s just trying to understand everything that’s happening.
Y/N; Dad! Don’t apolog—
I was cut off when I saw Dad glare at me to shut ny trap. I roll my eyes at this and just look back to the ocean.
Tonowari: I shall grant your family uturu. But, you need to learn the ways of my people to not be a burden on the rest of the clan. Can you do that?
Jake: Of course.
Tonowari: Good. Follow me.
Toni started to led my family away as I told Ro’nea to stay put. I glared one more time at Ronal while she glared back at me while I followed my family, being the last person following. Tonowari led us to what he called a “Marui”, a home for us to have. He let us in and told us that his children will show us the ropes tomorrow morning while he and Ronal showed Dad and Mom what to do. He then said that he hopes we enjoy our new refuge home and that we will settle in quickly. I wave him down and I got his attention.
Y/N: Excuse me, sir? Could I talk to you for a minute outside please.
Tonowari: Oh, please call me Tonowari. What’s the problem, son?
The two of us move away to where my family can not hear us.
Y/N: Do you know of any places where I could go for some peace and quiet to enjoy nature? I want to find a place I can relax at with my sister as we both love nature.
Tonowari: There’s plenty of locations around here. There’s a very beautiful underwater cave near where the Spirit Tree is. There is also a beautiful lake with a small cave located more inland if there’s something you’re looking for.
Y/N: Thank you, Olo'eyktan. (I think that is Na’vi for clan leader.)
Tonowari: Of course, my boy. I hope you and your family get settled in. I’ll see you bright and early tomorrow. I wish you a good night.
Y/N: I’ll see you then, I hope you have a good night as well, Olo'eyktan.
I reach out my arm for a handshake and he returns it with a forearm handshake as we both mood to each other.
Tumblr media
(This is what I meant by forearm handshake)
I walk back to the marui to see my family. I see Kiri looking a bit unhappy at everything with Tuk trying not to be upset with everything going on and my brothers both look miserable due to the changes. I just go off to one corner of the marui before I laid down on the floor and opened up my journal to write about everything going on in the last few days. I heard someone clear their throat and see Dad looking at me, clearly pissed off emit which I closed my journal.
Y/N: -sighs- What is it this time, Dad?
Jake: Outside now! We need to talk.
I roll my eyes and get off of the ground before I followed Dad outside.
Jake: What the hell was that with the Tsahìk?
Y/N: You really want to know?!? Once again, I was made to feel like I don’t have a fucking place to belong anywhere! Apparently you don’t see that at all!!
Jake: -sighs- You’re right. I’m sorry, Y/N. But we need to be careful with how we go about our stay here. We can’t be disrespecting the leaders at all.
Y/N: She should have thought twice before pissing me off when I’ve already go through enough shit in the last few days!
Jake: Y/N!!! We can’t risk being kicked out. This is our only chance for our family staying together.
Y/N: Whatever. You don’t even care about how I feel.
Jake: Y/N….
I just ran past him as I don’t care anymore. I get back it Ro’nea and give her a look she knows all too well from me. I hop onto her and she takes off as Dad was chasing after me. I look at him in anger and flip him off before I fly away with Ro’nea.
— 3RD PERSON POV
Jake started chasing after Y/N when he saw his son on his white Ikran. Jake tried to call for his son as Ro’nea started taking off only to be flipped of by his youngest son. Jake sighs and just walks back to the marui with everyone looking at the dock as Y/N flew away yet again to get away from his father. Neytiri went to her mate and hugged him.
Neytiri: He’s going through a lot right now. Give him some time.
Jake: I will. I just..I just want what’s best for him right now after we could have lost him when he was taken prisoner.
Kiri: I’ll go find him.
Kiri started to get up to go after her youngest brother only to have Jake tell her to not.
Jake: No need. Y/N just needs some time. Let’s get sleep in meantime.
All of the Sullys then got close to one another and started to drift to sleep. (Just look at the gif at the top of this post to se what I mean)
— 30 minutes later —
— Y/N POV
I finished my last flight of the night with Ro’nea before we landed back on the beach. I hugged her and thanked her for all the amazing times I had with her as she hugged me back. I told her that I wasn’t sure I would see her again to which Ro’nea gave me a look saying “I’m never going to abandon you”. I smile at her and I told her about the cave near the lake from my earlier conversation with Tonowari. She looked at me with glee that I managed to find her a home here on the island and she screeched at me, as if to say thank you. I told her to head out to the cave and to get some sleep. Ro’nea took off for the cave while I walked to my family’s new marui where I saw everyone asleep with one another cuddled up next to each other. I smile as the sight, but I don’t join them, I go off to a corner and curl myself into a ball as my tail curls up and my ears flatten against my head. I fall asleep almost immediately.
— 3RD PERSON POV —
Once Y/N fell asleep, his sisters then stirred awake at the noise he made without realizing. Kiri shakes her head at this and goes over to her youngest brother. Kiri wraps her arms around him and pulls him close so he won’t be sleeping alone. Tuk climbed and cuddled into her brother’s arms so he feels their love. Y/N unconsciously smiled at the love he is unknowingly getting from his favorite siblings.
To be continued……
Thats Pt. 3 of “Useless” and “Troubled” until the End. I’m very happy with how this turned out. I hope everyone else enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed writing this. I still don’t understand what makes this story enjoyable, but I’m having fun with it. Anyways, I have some plans for Pt. 4 of this story saga. Who knows what might happen….

Some things were never meant to leave Earth…. or be known about. Let alone being introduced to a whole new world, new life and a species called the Na'vi that probably didn't understand that there were worst things that came from Earth than Humans with technology. Jake knows the Earth was a harsh place, well aware of the dangers it had and the monsters it had as well. No one cared, nothing would matter and….so what. If they thought of him of nothing, then why not take himself, his avatar and his friend and fuck off into the wilderness of pandora. If he can screw over the RDA and its resident parasites, then bonus points. Grace isn't thrilled.
Chapter 42 snippet
“What are your names?”
“I am Amanda, this is Lilith.” The Dreamwalker said, gesturing down for them to settle. “I don’t expect you to know who is who.”
“Uh-Hu…” Even Asahe was looking between them now, looking if a little discontent.
Kìoetey crouched to sit by the fish basket and beside the Dreamwalker and Asahe settled on a log but soon enough the door opened and Kìoetey, basically putting her foot into her mouth, gasped.
“<Oh, by Eywa, your poor mother!>” She said, eyes landing on the fourth, identical woman that followed Grace out, the difference being only by wearing a teal tank top. Her hand slapped over her mouth before she felt the heat rise to her cheeks and ears. “<I’m so sorry.>”
The Dreamwalker’s face broke into a smile, chuckling softly at her reaction and at Asahe’s frozen expression as the fourth joined them, amused as well at the reaction.
“<I feel like I am seeing things.>” The Tsahìk muttered, finally moving a little to look between them. “<Is this…normal for humans?>”
“<Humans can carry multiple babies in a single pregnancy. Twins are common, triplets; a pregnancy of three babies and Quadruplets; a pregnancy of four babies. Identical, so they came from the same egg that split into four lives.” Kìoetey explained, glad that Alma had taught that lesson on human biology, despite Mercer wanting them to read up on more militarised training schedules. It was nice to know there was a lot about being a Na’vi that she was proud of and had the joys of missing out on, like the menstrual cycles human people had.
“<Four babies at once? But humans are so small?>” Asahe said, almost aghast at the idea.

You know what would be funny? While the RDA is obsessing over Pandora's resources and providing the rich assholes with ways to extend their wrinkled existence, the rest of humanity goes “Fuck this shit! Time to fix up our planet!” Like full on terraform Earth back to its former glory.
And so, while the RDA is spending billions to send ships to terrorizing the tall, blue people, the rest of the world is having its redemption arc up until like a year after the second movie, where they’re at the point where they can go “Yoooo, wtf is the RDA doing over there? Oh, they got bored with fucking us over so they moved to alien natives? Nah, send in the Balkan people (These mfs are built different I swear, they’ll just take a breath of pandoran air and go “Umm, spicy and refreshing”). They’re sent on their way (Let’s say they arrive in 1 year flat because screw physics, this is a joke post, mf are going 4 times ftl.), beat the ever living shit out of the Ahaa cartoon villains that are the RDA personnel and teach them some, you know, human decency, queue in the best apology video of all time, leave the blue people alone, boom mission accomplished. RDA gets sued to hell and back (You know, war crimes and all of that) and even more funding goes to fixing up Earth until its basically as we know it today.
Later down the line, the na’vi need help because of some disaster, humanity sends said help, some form of actual peace is formed, Spider becomes the ambassador of human/na’vi relationships (Guy had the glow up of the century, which tends to happen when you live in a time of peace again and people actually love and care for you “ahem, Spider Sully”) Human and Na’vi truly learn about each other (Ones aren’t uncivilized savages, but people with a unique cultures and deep history. Others aren’t advanced savages with boom sticks, but, you guessed it, people with a unique cultures and deep history.) and learn from each other.
And everyone lived happily ever after.
The end
(Very unrealistic, I know)
Ugh, my dream. The terraforming Earth part, not the humans coming back. Because the whole movie is a colonization metaphor, I'm so tentative and iffy on the Na'vi needing or wanting any help or support from humanity.
But regardless, I am obsessed with the idea of humanity healing Earth. I know that we are cynical people and are always like "This is realistic, humans are selfish and would take advantage of Pandora as we did to Earth." And I totally get that, but I also love those humans are inherently good stories. I do think the majority of people care and have empathy about other people and their situations, and the majority of problems in the world are systematic and stem from ignorance. People are uneducated or are struggling with what they have to deal with on their own, and don't have the wherewithal to care about every single other thing that is such a gigantic systematic issue. I would love for people, for everyone, to just be like yeah this isn't okay anymore lets fix it. About anything and then everything. But I digress.
I love the idea of Spider Sully and Jake being a bridge between the Na'vi and humanity. I think Jake would have to be involved as well, because honestly Spider has never been to Earth and has never been with regular humans. My man knows no human culture or traditions, really. He's like, really Na'vi biased in that way, hilariously.
Spider: Na'vi culture is better and more important, obviously.
Someone: well, what is human culture.
Spider: clearly it's test tubes, guns, air lock doors, green paper, Jesus Christ, and also tank tops.
