Calcinidae Bay Lot Tour: Marine Discovery Centre
Tumblr media
I finally got around to picking the terrains I wanted to use for Calcinidae Bay's subhoods, so the Bay now officially has a(n as-of-yet unnamed) Downtown! Yay! Let's take a look through the only currently-finished lot there, the Marine Discovery Centre and Aquarium.
First I wanna shout out @dirtfauna for suggesting I build an aquarium and getting me thinking about this in the first place! As I was putting on the finishing touches I was also inspired by seeing @lolabythebaysims's gorgeous lot influenced by the Belle Isle Aquarium.
Before I get into the lot, I need to show the original Sims 4 shell for reference. It's "what the.. shell?" uploaded to the Gallery by simbellaz, and as you'll see, it was both perfect for and wildly impractical as the basis for an aquarium.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I don't normally go for shell challenges that have so many internal walls, but all those little 1-tile-wide hallways were practically SCREAMING to be made into fish tanks! The external "walls" you see added to my TS2 shell are all either actually half-walls, fences, or just windows placed with moveobjects, all of which are allowed within a standard shell challenge. It may seem like a cop-out, but it's more limiting/challenging than you'd think.
But enough preamble. Let's take a look inside!
Tumblr media
The entrance is also a small gift shop. It seems like every aquarium I've ever been to has also sold jewellery. Don't ask me about my tiny penguin earrings.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I really wanted a "fish tank tunnel" vibe, and the effect was... almost perfect, lol. Close enough for a shell challenge IMO. I so so badly wanted to break my CC-free rule to place some fish shaders, but I'm glad I stuck to my guns because I think the solution I came up with looks goofy but effective. (Plus you wouldn't see them in build/buy anyway.)
Ooohhhh jellyfish tank ooohhhhhh they're so lifelike and graceful
Tumblr media
I have my fun.
Tumblr media
That little "airlock" room is a fun pirate-y undersea exhibit that connects to the outside and is probably where school field trips would loop around rather than heading upstairs.
Tumblr media
Through the pirate's cabin is a touch pool and tactile play room where kids can inspect rubber anatomical fish models. I like to imagine the TV plays a short looping movie featuring a B-grade celebrity talking to a cartoon bass about the water cycle, fish spawn, and pollution.
Tumblr media
The outdoor area is where the field trip groups would probably eat their packed lunches, fill out activity sheets, and take a commemorative photo with the world's worst greenscreen that's supposed to make it look like you're underwater but just ends up eating half your hair and shirt.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
If you're not a student and you're just here for the love of fish, you'd probably head upstairs to get a closer look at the fish tunnel, smaller specialty tanks, and the squid/octopus models. (This room is technically considered outdoors thanks to the shell so tbh I'm not sure how lighting/temperature would behave during gameplay.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The third floor has more tanks, some hands-on displays about aquatic plants and marine ecology, and finally a room with the actual floor-to-ceiling aquarium objects.
Tumblr media
I thought this would be an interesting lot to run as an owned business, so I included a small employee area tucked behind the guest toilet block on the ground floor. It also helped to naturalistically answer "how would Sims feed themselves if their outing wouldn't stop complaining they were hungry," a concern I keep in mind whenever I make a lot I think would be a nice place to take a date.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And here's the floorplan! This lot had a pretty severe ugly stage but I'm really really happy with what we ended up with and the vibe I achieved without any CC. Hope you enjoyed reading this far and that it could give you some decorating inspiration!

Alternatives to RARBG for Free
Best Sites Like RARBG to Search and Download Torrents with these best RARBG Alternatives currently available on the web.
RARBG is a popular torrent site or torrent provider that was founded in 2008. It provides its millions of users with a massive collection of torrent links and magnetic links from various genres such as movies, TV shows, games, e-books, and much more. Due to legal issues, the site was shut down in December 2008 (the same year it was founded). Allegations included a violation of entertainment laws.
And the site was taken down for a week due to BREIN's legal pressure (an association that is responsible for the protection of the rights of the Entertainment industry Netherland). Many alternatives have emerged since then via the internet. There are numerous options available. So, to save you the trouble of searching for them individually, we decided to put together a list of the Best RARBG Torrent Alternatives for your convenience.
Alternatives to RARBG Torrent
Tumblr media
Here are the Best Free RARBG Torrent Alternatives to satisfy your desire for Torrent Files.
1. The Pirate Bay
When it comes to torrent search engine alternatives, the world-famous Pirate Bay is always at the top of the list. This torrent behemoth serves millions of users across a variety of genres, including movies, TV shows, games, registered software, e-books, and much more. Among its many strengths are its massive torrent file library and regularly updated index. The speed is adequate.
2. 1337x
1337x is one of the most rapidly growing torrent search engines in recent history. 1337x is the most versatile torrent provider due to its beautiful UI, massive library, and availability of adult content on the platform. The speed is incredible. Many users consider this to be their primary source of torrent links for their favourite movies and television shows. Furthermore, there are numerous torrent links for cartoons, games, software, and other items.
3. LimeTorrents
Nothing beats Lime torrents as a trustworthy and verified torrent provider. It is the most trusted source of torrent files, serving millions of people worldwide. Its main highlights are an extensive collection of torrent files on various genres such as movies, anime, games, and software. Except for one major disadvantage (for many), there are no links to adult content on this platform.
4. Yify Torrents
The most recommended torrent search engine for movies and TV shows is YTS or Yify (both are the same). The platform has the largest collection of torrent files related to movies and television shows. The content on this page is constantly updated and is available in 3D and high-definition quality. As an added bonus, many new releases take place here. So, if you enjoy Hollywood blockbusters and spicy American TV shows, Yify is worth a look.
5. Torrents.io
Torrents.io is a conglomeration of popular torrent websites. This platform gathers torrent files from a variety of torrent sites, such as The Pirate Bay, 1337x, LimeTorrents, and many others. The user interface is visually appealing. The tempo is quick. The torrent service provider also provides a wide range of genres, including movies, cartoons, games, and Porn. In a nutshell, everything is centralised.
6. Extra torrent
Extra torrent includes features such as a user interface and a library index for the user. This platform is one of the internet's most well-known independent torrent providers. It has a large collection of torrent files and allows users to upload their own without any technical difficulties. Regrettably, the website has been removed from the internet by legal authorities.
7. Zooqle.com
Zooqle.com, which sounds similar to Google, is a non-profit internet indexing service used by millions of people around the world. The website includes both torrent files and magnetic links to please users. It also employs the BitTorrent protocol, which enables seamless peer-to-peer file sharing. The only disadvantage is the user interface. It falls short of expectations and occasionally annoys users with intrusive advertisements.
8. Library Origins
LibGen (Library Genesis) is the only dedicated ebook torrent provider available online. It has a massive library that includes thousands of articles, ebooks, and limited edition releases. Readers can look through any ebook they want here. The user interface is fantastic, and the speed is adequate. The website was also embroiled in a controversy over a database that still contained paywalled articles and some academic content. But it went through it flawlessly and is now serving millions of people worldwide.
9. Kat.to
Kat.to, also known as KickassTorrent, is the world's most popular and controversial torrent search engine that is still in operation. It has a massive library of torrent files in a variety of genres, including movies, TV shows, software, games, and e-books.
10. TorrentReactor
Torrent Reactor ranks tenth on the list, thanks to its massive torrent file library. It is also one of the most trusted torrent providers. The website provides a massive collection of torrent files in categories such as movies, TV shows, cartoons, games, software, and much more. The search engine falls under the category of latest torrent providers, with a regularly updated index and the option of popular and latest torrents. To your surprise, authorities have taken down the website.
11. ISOHunt
The first legal torrent provider on this list is ISOHunt. It enables the user to legally download torrent files. The website has a large collection of torrents from various genres such as movies, TV shows, cartoons, new releases, and much more. However, the user interface is a shambles. However, speed is advantageous. Everything else is the same as it is with other torrent providers.
12. BitSnoop
BitSnoop, a new and distinct name in the category of torrent search engines, estimates serving 24 million torrent files to its users. The website is proud to have one of the internet's largest torrent file databases. The user interface is adequate. The speed is also acceptable. Without a doubt, BitSnoop will soon be among the most popular torrent providers.
So those are some of the best RARBG torrent alternatives. Please let us know in the comments section if you found this useful. That would be fantastic to hear.

Hi M, how are you? Coming after the high of Shogun's yesterday's win at the Emmy's made me wonder if you have a favourite historical movie or tv show that is underrated or in the category more-people-should-watch-this? Hopefully you indulge in this type of movie. 😊
For example, for me, one such movie is "Master and Commander: The Far side of the World" :brilliant ensemble cast all across the board, good chemistry between the main leads, engaging story, very good soundtrack, fx that still hold, 99% hystorically accurate 😂 but despite this not many have heard or watched this movie.
Have a nice day!
P.S. can't believe that tomorrow the last episode of AYS will air 😭.
Hi @shimako! Sorry for answering your question late, but I postponed it because I kept trying to think of a list. And honestly, I saw the words historical drama and forgot the underrated part so this is a bit of a disaster, but I'll make it work. Let's just say this is an incomplete list of tv shows that had an impact on me at the time and ages that I had when I watched them. And you'll see that I barely remember the plot, but I sort of know how I felt.
1. Rome
Is this underrated? Hell no! But perhaps in today's age of tv, a lot of people have forgotten about that show. Only two seasons, but it was among the first batch of prestige tv in the middle of the 2000s. I liked it so much that it made go to the bookstore and buy a book about Caesar. If I went through my Egypt phase in middle school, then my Ancient Rome period came in high school.
2. The Borgias
At the time of its runtime, I think it was pretty big. Although I don't think it won many awards. I also remember it being used as an example on scholarly papers about Hollywood using Eastern and Central European studios because of cheap labor and good locations. Budapest and Prague can replace Florence, lol.
The Borgias was naughty. And it had Jeremy Irons who is a fantastic actor in my opinion. Eventually they actually leaned heavily into the siblings relationship which I thought was daring. They went there 👀. And the costumes were so beautiful!.
3. The Tudors
I remember this show through the eyes of a 13-14 year old that developed a massive crush on the actor portraying Henry the VIII. This was like the rock'n'roll version of the story. And it was sexy. A bit over the top. A stepping stone for some actors that would become a lot more famous in the years to come. I think it was on HBO so probably not underrated at the time, but mostly forgotten nowadays.
4. Versailles
I can't remember if it's French or they talk in English. But it was lots of fun. And really gay. They didn't stay away from that. That's all I remember, but give it a try.
5. Taboo
This is that show with a really brooding Tom Hardy who remains like that throughout the story. But if you're interested in 1800s London and England's imperialist plan and its effects on colonized territories, this might be it.
6. Babylon Berlin
I don't know if this fits into the list, but it is a great portrayal of 1920s Berlin. A period in which artistic freedom and experimentation was at its height, but also juxtaposed with political unrest, creating this environment that would lay the ground for the rise of the fascist party. It's a german show, an HBO production and I like that it's not glamourized. You can see it in their clothes, their hygiene habits, their visible sweat and run down outfits they wear in clubs. It feels real.
7. Black Sails
I first heard of this when I wanted to watch more Toby Stephens movies/series but I almost stayed away because it was a Michael Bay production. Black Sails is so smart. At first, it might lure in the wrong audience, even based on the first trailer. It looks like a pirate show full of action sequences and machismo. And then you actually watch it and it flips that exact narrative. It is a direct critique of imperialism. It is also such a good case for any film and gender & queer studies analysis. But more than that, what really sealed the deal for me in what is considered a grade B series with grade B actors, is the meta-textual discourse on storytelling. It's about creating those pirate legends, of creating narratives to protect themselves against the empire. And all that is unfolded through brilliant lines of dialogue. It still remains a 10/10 tv show for me and the actual underrated one.

Shady's Guide to Piracy.
First up: I highly recommend you use Firefox or Opera as a browser.
Next : Install uBlock Origin if you haven't already. Streaming / Watching Online
Sports (including Hockey) Create an account to not have to do math from weird timezones and to read in English rather than Russian. http://livetv.sx/en/allupcoming/ Hockey My backup for hockey if livetv is being weird. https://1stream.eu/nhlstreams TV/Movies The best I've found since Soap2Day went down. https://1hd.to/home My backup is https://fmoviesz.to/home Friend Kaotic recommends https://bstsrs.one
Torrenting
Torrenting is downloading via a whole bunch of people in a hive. The advantage is you now have a copy on your computer. The disadvantage is your ISP knows you did it and will send you a message. The severity varies from ISP to ISP. Step One: Get a VPN. I like Windscribe, but VPNs are mostly the same across the board. https://windscribe.com Step Two: Get a Torrent program. I use qBittorrent https://www.qbittorrent.org Step Three: Find Torrents. TV shows / Movies, I use EZTV. There's A LOT there. I typically just download the lowest resolution/smallest file if I'm watching it on my laptop, but if you want to stream to your TV or watch it on a big screen, choose a larger resolution. https://eztv.re Or https://yts.mx For Software, I use Pirate Bay or 1337x https://thepiratebay.org/index.html https://1337x.to/home/ Always click a magnet link if there is one. If you need help, send me a message and I'll do my best to provide.

Ed makes his way back to Stede after watching the ships burn. - Something settles into place within him as he hacks and slashes his way back to Stede. He doesn't want to do this anymore, he's certain of that. But maybe he doesn't have to burn his bridges to get to where he's going. Maybe everything he's capable of can serve him well sometimes, maybe there's some middle ground between fisherman and pirate.
Stede.
The panic sets in like a sudden tropical storm that's caught him leagues from shore with full sails unfurled, sending his brain into a tailspin.
He fucked up. He fucked up so badly. He asked to take it slow and then he let himself get carried away. Everything was so nightmarishly terrible all of a sudden. The quiet ease he was slipping into turning poison into positivity shattered into pieces by that fucking joker with an axe to grind, and then Stede... Stede pushing a man overboard, sweet, gentle Stede embodying the fucked up caricature of violence he showed Ed in that book when they first met, like it was fucking aspirational. He remembers the words to this day. "If I could be just be like Blackbeard, even just for a moment, honestly I would give all of this away." He never wanted Stede to give up a single fucking thing for him. The fine fabrics and the books and the two chandeliers made him happy, and Ed's wanted to be happy with him in a world full of soft things ever since that first morning they woke up together, high above the horizon and the shit that was dragging them both down for years, bathed in golden light and eager promises.
And after everything they both went through last night, after watching Low stick a hot poker in him and thinking this was it for them, after the fear and the adrenaline and the boundless amounts of love and sorrow he felt when he knocked on the cabin door... When Stede sought his comfort in Ed's body by pushing him against a wall and asking without words to kiss him, eyes full of unshed tears, Ed couldn't deny him. It's not like he wasn't dying for it himself, not like he hasn't wanted to allow himself to come apart with Stede since bread with marmalade on the crow's nest.
But he still doesn't know who he is or who he wants to become, where the fuck he fits in this world, in Stede's life. He knows he doesn't want to be a pirate anymore, and Stede becoming all the things he once claimed not to like in Ed... it messed him up to watch that happen.
Having sex with Stede the way they did was a mistake, but not for the reasons Stede probably thought he meant when he said it. He thinks about having to hear those same words from Stede without an explanation and he wants to run on water to get back to the Republic as soon as possible, find him and actually try to explain this time. Loving him isn't a mistake, it's taking such a huge step and making himself vulnerable like that when he was dying three days ago and he still feels lost all the time that was a fuck up.
And then he fucking panicked, and he told Stede - fuck, he started that conversation out okay and spiraled out of control within two sentences, rambling about fishermen and pirates without ever actually saying the words that were eating up at his insides, gnawing on his heart like hungry moths. I gave myself over to you. I'm ready for us to build a life together. I don't want to put you in danger again. I don't want to be a monster. I don't want you to become like me.
He's never actually told Stede how he feels, has he? Stede was so sweet at Anne and Mary's, and Ed never said it back. He wasn't ready to stay it, still isn't sure he is, even after everything. But he's ready to say something, ready to promise to stay and ask for time to say the rest when he can.
If Stede is even there to be found. What the fuck is going on, why is the entire bay on fire? Is the Revenge among the burning ships. Are their friends safe. Where is Stede. Please let him be okay. Please let him still be alive so Ed can explain to him, so he can hold his hands and give all the warmth he has brought to Ed's life back to him, so he can try to get his words to come out right this time. Give him one more chance. He won't waste it again.
Finding the leathers he does on purpose. Finding the letter is a surprise. Stede told him he'd sent him messages in bottles, but what were the fucking odds of ever finding them in the immensity of the ocean. Slim, apparently. Just like their chances of ever finding each other. And yet they did, and they keep doing it again and again like there's a string pulling them together across the vastness of the sea.
He finds out from the letter that Stede was always thinking about him, even when he left, even when he ran away and took Ed's heart with him. He came back to find him. Not to find piracy, but to find Ed. He stands in the surf reading it over and over, wet leathers back on and pulling heavily on his limbs for what he hopes will be one last time, and makes the decision to give his heart over to Stede for good.
He's all in for real this time. No more running away, no more panicking. He will find Stede and he will be alive and they will talk and work things out and they will never be separated again. Fuck the British and the Spanish and the French, fuck every navy in the world and every washed out pirate with a grudge. Fuck his own fears that live in a huge chasm inside him and claw at his throat and make the words he needs to say get stuck there like knives.
Stede is it for him. He will ask him for space to figure himself out, but he wants that space to be by Stede's side, in Stede's arms, in the home they will share every day and every night for their remaining years. He will be better at asking for what he needs. He can't lose Stede.
There is no Ed without Stede anymore. It has been too late for that for a while.
He makes his way to Stede mostly on instinct, trusting his legs to carry him and his arms to fight for him and his heart not to stop beating the second he emerges on the shore and sees him surrounded by British uniforms on the beach, fighting five to one.
Something settles into place within him as he hacks and slashes his way back to him. He doesn't want to do this anymore, he's certain of that. But maybe he doesn't have to burn his bridges to get to where he's going. Maybe everything he's capable of can serve him well sometimes, maybe there's some middle ground between fisherman and pirate. Maybe the man and the monster are one and the same and it doesn't matter, because the monster has always been just a man doing his best to stay afloat, a man kicking and screaming against the weights dragging him down into the deep black waters, and he can let go of him now without hating him for keeping him alive all these years. He brought him to where he is now and to Stede, after all.
Hasn't Stede seen him for the entirety of who he is since the early days of their relationship? He thinks as he slides on one knee across the black sand, every slice of his sword bringing him closer to the man he loves. Hasn't he been trying to tell Ed that he loves everything about him all along? Maybe it's time Ed learned to say those things to himself, too.
He crashes into Stede the second the last soldier is down, drags him into his arms with a desperation that could put a hurricane to shame.
"Ed!" Stede's voice floods into him and he soars.
"I'm sorry. You're okay. I'm sorry," he says, breathless, clings to him like he will run out of air and his lungs will collapse if every inch of them isn't touching.
"You came back."
"Never left, mate. Or no - I did. I'm sorry. This was the last time, I promise. I don't want to be anywhere else." His entire body knows this, his bones and his muscles and his marrow. He could never take a permanent step away from Stede again without coming undone.
Stede holds him tight, like he too was afraid they'd never see each other again and the hurtful things they flung at each other would be the last words they ever exchanged, like he was afraid that their life together would end before it even had a chance to start.
"I'm sorry I called you a coward."
Ed winces. That one stung a little, probably because it was true.
"I'm sorry I told you that night was a mistake without explaining what I meant." He feels Stede tense and then relax, like those words have been weighing on him as much as Ed feared they might have.
"Sorry I called your fish whatever," Stede says, voice soft and tender. "I loved the fish."
Ed smiles against his chest. They're going to be okay. He wasn't too late and they're going to be okay. Stede is safe and they're talking and everything is going to be fine. The world can burn and they will find a way to make it out of the inferno as long as they're together.
"Sorry I didn't stay to celebrate your first immolation," he jokes.
"Fuck that. Turned out to be a fickle crowd, too."
Ed suspects there's more there that he isn't saying, but perhaps a beach littered with dead and wounded British isn't the place to be discussing this. They'll have time. They're not leaving again, no more running off for either of them. This time it's for good.
"Tell me later?" He slides his hands down Stede's chest, draws in for a welcome back kiss that he can already taste sweet on his lips.
Stede runs his hand down his arm, caresses his elbow delicately with his warm palm and leans into him and they're finally going to kiss again when they hear a shout.
"Help, guys!" a voice calls out from across the beach. Stede turns and groans when he spots the woman slashing into soldiers like they're butter, but still covered in them like sharp spikes.
"Who's your friend?" Ed asks. "Should we go help?"
Stede closes his eyes, sighs and nods.
"Yeah, we'd better."
When they run this time, it's together.

If you're looking to get some pirated media I'd reccomend torrenting. First you need an app to download the torrent files to, the most popular ones are bitTorrent and µTorrent. BitTorrent works on mac, windows and android. µTorrent works on mac, linux, windows and android.
From there there are many torrenting sites you can use to get your desired media such as; YTS.mx, 1337x, Pirate's Bay, etc.
You can then download the torrent file of your choice. I won't get into details here about the process of downloading the files because I'm bad at explaining things but there are lots of guides online you should look up.
Also a few things to note:
I'd reccomend using a VPN if you don't already to protect your IP from possibly malicious files. An antivirus program is good too, windows defender is pretty good but there are certainly better antivirus programs out there (unfortunately the best are paywalled)
In torrenting you'll come across the terms leecher and seeder. Seeders are people who share the files and leechers are people who download the files through seeders. The more seeders the quicker a file will download. Also after you leech a file it's considered good etiquette to share it because there needs to be a good balance of seeders and leechers for a file to download properly, and with no seeders to share a file the file will not work.
Most torrenting sites will have a review system or a commenting system to check the comments and reviews to see if a torrent is trustworthy
Also if the site you're using allows it, sort by the most seeded, if lots of people are seeding the file then you know it's safe
DO NOT download .exe files if you're downloading movies, music or tv shows, they're guaranteed to be viruses
Anyways, hope this helps and good luck on your pirating journey!
ive been actually meaning to get into torrenting so this helps alot thank you!! saving this for later

What do you use to edit your videos together? also where did you get the high quality footage from? (I wanna do it like you, but goodness knows I have to be an amateur first lol)
Hii, thank you so much for asking. This is probably gonna be a very long answer so buckle up.
Personally, I use Capcut and Adobe Premiere Pro to edit my videos. CapCut is a free editing tool (however, they have been removing almost all features from their free version to get people to pay) and is probably the best app to start out with. Adobe is extremely expensive unfortunately.
Other editing tools you can use are Sony Vegas Pro and Davinci Resolve. Both are not cheap but at least they come outside of a subscription model. Also I think there is a free version of Davinci Resolve.
Now, regarding the footage. I used to torrent my shows. The thing with torrenting is - it's highkey illegal and I got sued by Warner Bros. So I am not doing that anymore. And I haven't really found a proper alternative yet. (If you are reading this this Warner Bros, my words are obvioulsy not binding the only TV show I have ever torrented is Dead Boy Detectives. That was a one time thing. :)))))
My go to site besides torrenting is called "Logoless Desires" on Twitter. They have a bunch of older shows, but lack newer ones. But it's worth checking them out.
I recently found a website called "Bratflix" that let's you download TV shows. But they don't have the best quality. But I think they offer a good solution to my current problem.
If you do choose to torrent, which a lot of people do, then make sure to use a VPN and immedietaly delete whatever you have downloaded from your server. Then you should be safe. In case you don't use a VPN yet, I recommend you the one by Mozilla Forefox.
I used Pirate Bay for find the shows and utorrent to download them. I do advise you to research before torrenting because a) it can be confusing at first and b) did I mention I got sued because I didn't do my research? Yeah. Don't be like me.
You can also always screenrecord. I hate that option because it's a pain in the ass but many people do it, especially those who want to get their video out their before people have made it available to download. I personally use OBS studio as a screen recording tool.
Now regarding the quality of your videos: You do want to make sure you're videos are at least in 720. 1080 is best but often hard to find. (Except on torrenting websites)
That's basically it.
Everyone starts somewhere when it comes to video editing and I am def not the end all be all. Especially due to TikTok video editing has changed a lot. And the quality has kind of ... shifted? I can't really explain it. But let's just say that you don't have to be a pro to make good edits. :) You just have to start somewhere.
If you have any other question, my DM's are always open.

15 questions for 15 mutuals
Thank you for marking me, I enjoyed reading all the answers to this list so much!   @kestrelteens @kayleigh-83
Are you named after anyone?  My parents only called me that because it wasn't a popular name in the 90s
When was the last time you cried?  In February, when my friend left. In fact, I cry very rarely because I have problems with experiencing deep emotions. When I really cried, it was probably February\March of last year. For obvious reasons.
Do you have kids?  No, but I'd like to one day. I feel too young to have children yet
Do you use sarcasm a lot?  Not very. Usually it annoys me if I think that the interlocutor is saying something stupid and then I use sarcasm. Otherwise, I rather prefer to talk directly about my irritability.
What’s the first thing you notice about other people? Clothing and accessories. One day when I was approaching the place of the date, I thought, "Oh my God, I hope it's not him in that ugly hat"
Eye colour?  I just found out it's called Hazel. Most of my friends think that I have brown eyes, but in fact it's just dark green. I myself thought for a long time that I had brown eyes, until I found out that this was impossible for genetic reasons in biology class. Lol.
Scary movies or happy endings?  In fact, I really don't like horror movies, as I am extremely nervous, but paradoxically I like Stephen King horror books, I also like to watch reviews of scary games, and at one time I also read a lot of SCP. And some of my favorites are La Favorite and Spencer. But I also like TV series, for example, Sexual Education, The Handmaid's Tale, Euphoria And a lot of animated series
Any special talents?  I can push my shoulder out of the joint and move my eye asymmetrically (but this is very dangerous because it occurs due to excessive blood pressure in the eyes and head). Also, I'm never late even if I'm late. For some reason, it always happens that I come before everyone else.
Where were you born?  Russia, in a small provincial town of Samara. (A million and a half is a small town?) This city used to be a pirate bay, then a fortress, then a merchant hub on the Silk Road, and therefore the city center is located near the Volga River and a beautiful long beach is a 5-minute walk away. Sometimes I think it looks like Miami, but with beautiful wooden architecture of the XIX century
What are your hobbies?  My hobby is art and it encompasses too many areas ranging from crafts and Craft and Art, and ending with the study of the latest fields of art. My professional activity is contemporary art, but I also draw, knit, embroider, sculpt, 3D model and much more. Now I'm finishing sewing another blanket, until recently I completely made my room, I redid some furniture, I really like to change spaces. I also like baking and now I have my own garden and I love messing with plants so much! But I don't perceive it as gardening, for me it's performative practices. And of course I really love sims and now I play sims 4 too much. A very important addition, I completely forgot to write about the TAROT. I started studying tarot since Halloween, but in general I have always been engaged in magical practices
Do you have any pets?  No, I like to communicate with animals and I've always wanted to get a cat, but now I understand that this is a very big responsibility
How tall are you?  182 cm, quite tall and thin
Fave subject in school?  I never liked school, but I liked Social Studies, Biology, World Culture and Art. At the university it was Art History, Psychology and Painting
Dream job?  Don't work. I burned out a lot after working at the museum and could not start a new job for 5 months. I would just like to please you with Sims content and get enough money for a living from it. Now I work remotely and I am most comfortable that now I can wake up, take a laptop and, lying in bed, perform work tasks without communicating with people. Sometimes I feel so bad that it turned out to be the optimal format for me, so as not to overexert myself. I would like to tag all the English-speaking bloggers I subscribe to, so feel free to tag me. @lowedeus @greatcheesecakepersona @jellymeduza @alexbgd @lamare-sims

Watching The Mandalorian S3EIforget, "The Pirate"
Okay, 44 minutes of a show that's rapidly losing my allegiance, not for being offensive or brutal, just for being kind of dumb and palpably losing interest in its title character. Let's go then.
If this show was going to go with pirates while also being addicted to re-introducing characters from the CG TV shows, I really feel they could've graced our screens with Hondo Ohnaka. But I fundamentally don't want them to keep bringing in characters from the CG shows. The only exception I would make is Rex, because Temuera Morrison, but I would rather still have more Boba, because also Temuera Morrison.
They haven't even tried to re-member the dismembered IG-11 statue.
shiny ass-kissing droid
and now there are pirates
and I just feel like a man in Greef's position -
actually speaking of Greef's position, I love how before skyping the mossy pirate captain, he squares up and puts his hands on his hips like Henry VIII posing for Holbein
- okay, a man in Greef's position, formerly deeply involved with the bounty hunters' guild, ought to have a staff of mercenaries on site in readiness for shit like this. Instead he's as unprepared for the possibility of bad guys with a big ship showing up wanting to take his stuff as Boba was on Tatooine. Presenting these middle-aged guys who have been involved in the underbelly of the galaxy for their whole adult lives as so naïve about the security challenges of running one's own fiefdom during a somewhat lawless period of regime change is such a bizarre choice. Why is everyone in this show so dumb about stuff they should be totally used to? They're not Luke Skywalker coming from the middle of nowhere with starry eyes and feathered hair. Like they should be smarter than me at this type of thing, and I'm a typist from Auckland.
there's a PIRATE NATION taking over the Mid Rim? THAT I ACTUALLY AM SEMI-INTERESTED IN so I bet they won't show it.
Retreat to the lava flats - a large, open area without shelter or cover. Super.
exsqueeze me, Disney+ subtitler, but PSYCHEDELIC ROCK MUSIC PLAYING?
well, the krill farmers are still pumping out the blue juice, I see. And here's a nice Korean Canadian dad - you know what? I feel like Captain Teva is here to provide the Papa Smurf beard that Rex is not onscreen to give us.
Okay, so just as apparently Ragnar just hung out in a dinosaur's crop totally uninjured for 12 hours minimum while a search party stopped to rest overnight on their way to him, Mr Kim has time to travel to Coruscant and try to get a meeting with his superiors while Nevarro is under active pirate attack. He doesn't say "screw it, time is of the essence, I'll render aid and take the consequences." This show's idea of time in rescue situations is bizarre.
Who else feels like this fucking boring New Republic plotline was supposed to be part of the Rangers show that presumably Cara Dune would have headed up if the actress hadn't insisted on being a douchebag on Twitter? And now they're just trying to fold it into The Mandalorian. I resent it.
You know, when I heard the name Tuttle I had a brief feverish flowering of hope that a M*A*S*H tribute about the insanity of military bureaucracy might be in the works, but then it withered.
I know this guy from somewhere, somewhere relatively recent, but I am unable to place him. I am not interested enough to look him up.
I'm so irritated by the lazy cynicism of "If the Rebellion got into power they'd be useless." They're not the Democrats.
so now everyone's just wandering around in the blazing sunlight on hot black lava flats. Sorry Greef, your planet sucks.
And now... is this Jurassic Planet? yep, so I hope he doesn't get eaten by a serpent while he's here. Dude. Sir. You're standing so close to the bay that the mosasaurs like to pop out of. You've got your back to it. Please.
please help me
why does Paz address Teva as "Blue Boy"? He is dressed from neck to ankle in the most garish orange. Paz's own armour is predominantly blue. Is he fucking colour-blind?
Why does the Disney+ subtitler still head up Din's dialogue as "THE MANDALORIAN" when we've known for actual years that his name is Din Djarin?
they pride themselves on their secrecy... and their idiocy.
You know, this would never have happened if you'd stuck with your plan of repairing IG-11. He was no snitch.
Din calls him "Blue" too! HE IS DRESSED IN ORANGE
I CANNOT RECALL THE COLOUR BLUE EVER BEING SIGNIFICANTLY ASSOCIATED WITH THE REBELLION OR NEW REPUBLIC
HE HAS SOME BLUE STENCILS ON HIS HELMET BUT HE DELIBERATELY TOOK THAT OFF AND LEFT IT IN HIS SHIP WHEN HE GOT OUT TO PARLEY SO DIN AND PAZ CAN'T SEE IT
anyway BK's doing her swaggery walk again and while we're at it WHO ELSE PROMINENTLY WEARS BLUE?
and now we're going to have a long, leisurely meeting to discuss because what is time? what is urgency?
"and our children can feel what it is to play in the sunlight" - which we already let them do because we take absolutely no safety precautions about living right next to a bay where dinosaurs regularly pop out of the water or swoop from the sky to devour our young
"Does anyone else wish to speak?" No, because we are all just elaborately dressed extras. We know our place.
I'm... skipping stuff.
So the pirates are boozing it up in the school, like they wanted to. I'm happy that someone got what they wanted.
I like that one warthog pirate!
Did a Salacious B. Crumb monkey just tip off the Mandos?
I know they want me to be excited for the big battle, I know they do... I'm just too grumpy. I have a glass of wine, though, so that's good. Recognisable salmon pink in colour, The Ned Pinot Gris 2022 showcases classic aromas of quince, pear drop and vibrant stonefruit. The palate is lush with juicy nectarine and Braeburn flavours supported by an underlying hint of spice that leads to an unctuous ripe finish. A versatile wine when it comes to food matching with its notable fruitiness and gentle acidity. Try pairing this silky wine with succulent chicken thighs added to a creamy, lemon fettuccine pasta sauce.
you know, I don't usually tolerate words like unctuous and succulent being thrust at me by a mere product description, but I'll allow it
So... there wasn't much point to the mossy pirate at all, was there? Unless he bailed out with a parachute, he blowed up.
yes, the Anzellans are very cute. Always a pleasure to see them.
You know why I have a problem with this effort to do a whole thing about Bo-Katan and reuniting Mandalore and everything? It's the problem of trying to link up with the sequels, which were made before The Mandalorian was a consideration and gave absolutely no hint that the Mandalorians were a consideration either. Did they just "retake Mandalore" and then become totally isolationist, neither fighting the First Order nor supporting the Resistance? Did they get wiped out for keeps? Where were they when shit went down? You don't have to engage with that if you're prepared to just tell a small story of one dude and his kid, and a personal saga of family and faith, friendship and love, but once you commit to doing a big political historical story, you've gotta and it seems doomed to be unsatisfactory.
anyway if people are just whipping their helmets off now I reckon Din should pop back to Tatooine and show Cobb his smile
