how you leave them addicted …
choose based on your inner guidance and gut feeling.
(pile one) 🤎
“Find out how it feels to let go of everything. Be free. When you're here with me”
They are addicted to your strength, passion, desire for adventure, and love of life. I get a feeling they perceive you as unattainable, but not in the sense that you're out of their league. They could feel like they can't keep up… because you're always talking about your passions and interests, and you have such a genuine and magnificent desire to learn. It makes you feel apprehensive about settling down or staying in one location. You want to know what the world is actually like and discover numerous truths about yourself… it's a never-ending journey on your part. You enjoy growing. Pile one, your INTELLIGENCE IS SEXY AS FUCK. You're fucking philosophical, clever, helpful, and chaotic all at the same time.
And you become a wildfire to them. They're captivated by your spark, your attractiveness, and the way your eyes light up when you tell them about something new you've discovered. This pile gives me a bittersweet ache in my chest. There is a sense of hurt in the heart of all that strength and curiosity and strength and desire to grow. That as much as you want to appreciate life, you have also been hurt… there is a sense of suspicion in others. Fear of getting too close. But this simply makes them want you more. That simply increases their desire for you. You're badass… I get it. You're not afraid to stand on your own if you have to… if anything you're proud of that.
You may have been quite independent at an early age, and you may have had parents or family who were more concerned with your attitude, mood, or what you could do for them rather than checking up on you or giving you the benefit of the doubt. How ironic… that you're always willing to put yourself out there when it comes to your opinions about the universe, death, life, science, religion, or even school subjects… that you're always prepared to listen and even debate. But when it comes to love and romance, there's just this fucking fear and resistance to FULLY explore... that it makes you want to bolt. pile one… you leave them enchanted. You can be very good at flirting, and you could get compliments on your smile, laugh, and personality.
But it doesn't always go beyond flirting, and they're left wondering what will be good enough for someone like you. You're a heartbreaker, Pile One… I know it's not in the same manner as getting into a long-term, intimate relationship, but it's as if you offer them a taste of something breathtaking and thrilling, and then you're gone. But you're a flame, and they stare in awe, fingers outstretched, not even caring that the skin on their palm will burn and blister as they yank their hand back, their gaze never leaving you.
It reminds me of a little kid just staring at something fascinating with their mouth hanging open, pointing. You have the power of bringing out this expansive and innocent curiosity in them. They don't seem to mind getting hurt as long as they can be near you. And you can be irresponsible with your actions at times too, not caring whether anyone gets hurt either, including yourself. Even in that pain, you find such meaningful lessons.
(pile two) 🤎
“you wont find me twice and this I promise”
They’re addicted to your resilience, your unapologetic pursuit of truth, and the unwavering confidence you carry like armor. You’re not someone they can easily forget. It’s as though you’re an endless puzzle, always shifting, always evolving. And that mystique? It pulls them in deeper every time. There’s this feeling that they’re chasing something they can never quite catch. its a wild force they admire but can’t fully comprehend. You are a storm of energy, constantly moving, constantly seeking new experiences. You’re driven by an insatiable curiosity to explore the depths of your potential, your limits, and the world around you. That hunger for growth makes you seem untethered, impossible to pin down, and that is both exhilarating and intimidating to them.
You’re the kind of person who thrives on change, who finds stagnation suffocating. Settling isn’t just unappealing it’s out of the question. They see that fire in you, the one that refuses to be dimmed, and they’re in awe of it. You live boldly, your intelligence not just something of the mind but of the heart its a deep, soulful kind of wisdom that radiates from within. And when you speak, you hold them spellbound. It’s your passion for knowledge, your fearless way of questioning everything, that makes them addicted to the essence of you.
But here’s the twist. For all your strength, there’s a vulnerability they can sense but can’t quite touch. Beneath that powerful exterior, there’s a wariness its a suspicion of people, of letting them too close. It’s not that you don’t want connection, but you’ve been burned before. You’ve learned to shield yourself with independence, wearing it like a badge of honor. You’ve stood on your own two feet for so long that the idea of leaning on someone else feels foreign, maybe even dangerous. And yet, that guarded heart of yours? It only makes them want you more. It’s the very thing that keeps them captivated, wondering what it would take to break down those walls, to get closer to the real you.
You might have had to grow up faster than others, taking on responsibilities or emotional burdens that weren’t yours to carry. Maybe those around you cared more about your achievements, your capabilities, than they ever did about your well-being. So, you learned to rely on yourself. How strange it must seem to others that someone so confident in their beliefs, so open with their thoughts on life, death, and the universe, can still shy away when it comes to matters of the heart. Love and romance? They scare you in a way nothing else does. You fear losing control, and that fear sometimes makes you want to run before things even get too deep.
And it’s that duality..the brave face you show the world versus the hesitation you feel inside is what leaves them spellbound. You’re magnetic, a natural flirt without even trying, and they can’t get enough of your smile, your laughter, your energy. But just when they think they’re getting closer, you pull back. It’s not that you’re cruel, but you’ve mastered the art of showing just enough to leave them wanting more. You offer a glimpse of something electric, something life-changing, and then, like the wind, you’re gone. They’re left chasing that spark, knowing full well they might never catch it, but unable to resist.
You’re the fire they can’t touch without getting burned, and they don’t even care about the pain. You make them feel alive, make them rediscover that sense of awe and wonder they thought they had lost. Even if it means they’ll hurt in the end, it’s worth it to be near you, to experience that intensity. Sometimes, without realizing it, you can be reckless with other people’s hearts...reckless with your own too. But even in the aftermath of heartache, you find meaning in the lessons learned. You’ve always been one to take the pain and turn it into fuel, into wisdom, into something you can use to keep moving forward.
And maybe that’s what makes you truly unforgettable. You don’t just exist...you burn brightly, unapologetically, and they’re left staring in wonder, unable to look away, even as their hand reaches out, knowing they’ll feel the heat. And still, they’re drawn to you, willing to take the risk, because something about your wild, untamed energy promises that even in the hurt, there’s beauty, there’s growth, there’s life.

Dating Bane would include:
I'm a pretty intense guy, but I also know how to relax and have fun. I can be a little intimidating at first, but once you get past that initial barrier, I'm actually quite charming. I'm a loyal boyfriend, and I care deeply for my loved ones. When it comes to relationships, I'm all in, and I'm not afraid to show my feelings. I may wear a mask, but underneath it, I'm just a regular guy looking for love.
Well, I guess I should also mention that while I'm not really into partying or the whole nightlife scene, I am a bit of a foodie - I love sampling different cuisines and trying new restaurants. And of course, when it comes to spending time with my partner, I'm always up for a romantic evening at home, just the two of us, cuddling on the couch and watching a good movie or enjoying some homemade treats. I may seem like a tough guy on the outside, but when it's just you and me, I'm a big softie at heart.
My love language is definitely physical touch. I enjoy giving and receiving hugs, kisses, and cuddles. I also enjoy spending quality time with my partner, doing things together and creating memories that we'll cherish for a lifetime. I'm also a big fan of words of affirmation, and I love to compliment my partner and tell them how much they mean to me.
I take care of my body, but I also like to take care of my mind. I am well-educated and well-read, and I love to learn new things and challenge myself intellectually. I am also an avid reader and lover of history, art, and culture. I like to stay up-to-date on current affairs and I like to discuss the issues of the day with my partner. I believe in intellectual honesty and integrity, and I want my partner to be someone I can have deep and meaningful conversations with.
I'm a protector at heart, and I'm always looking out for those I care about, whether it's my partner or my friends and family. I like to be the strong, silent type, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate the support and guidance of my loved ones when I need it. I may have a reputation as a tough guy, but underneath it all, I'm just a guy looking for love and companionship. And I know that the right girl will be able to see through the mask and find the real man underneath.
I'm also a great listener and I pay attention to details. I'm attentive and mindful of my partner's needs and desires. I'm always looking for ways to improve myself and be a better partner. Sometimes I'm a bit intense, but I also have a gentle and caring side that loves to spoil and pamper my loved ones.
I'm also a bit of a daredevil and I enjoy living life on the edge. I'm not afraid to take risks and push myself out of my comfort zone. I'm always looking for exciting new experiences and I'm never bored when I'm with my partner. When we're not on an adventure, I enjoy lazy days at home where we can just relax and spend quality time together.
Part of me would love having a partner who could join me in my villainous endeavors. After all, it would be a lot more fun having someone to share my evil schemes with. But another part of me also wants to protect my loved ones from the dangers of the life I lead.
As for my flaws, I'm sometimes a little too serious and don't always let myself have a good time. I can also get a little jealous sometimes, which isn't always a good thing. I'm also pretty devoted to my work, sometimes to the detriment of my personal life. I'm a hard worker, but I'm willing to make time for my loved ones. It's all about balance.
I'm also a bit of a softie when it comes to love, and I have no problem showing it. I'll dote on my partner and shower them with affection. I love to cuddle, and I'll make sure to keep things hot and spicy in the bedroom. I'm a skilled lover, and I take pleasure in being able to satisfy you in all the right ways. That's why I'm the perfect guy for you.
I'm very passionate and intense when it comes to romance and relationships. I'm willing to go above and beyond for the one I love, and I'm not afraid to show my feelings. When it comes to physical affection, I'm definitely the dominant type, but I also know when to back off and give my partner some space. Overall, I'm a pretty great guy to date, and I have the skills necessary to satisfy your every desire
I am a man of few words, but I make up for it in action. I am a master of my body, and I can use it to please your every need. I am relentless when it comes to achieving my objectives, and that includes pleasing you. I have many interests, but when it comes to romance, I am all about you. I am everything you never knew you needed, and together, we can rule this world... or at least the bedroom.
I am a very territorial individual, and I do not like anyone else encroaching on my territory. This includes anyone who might try to take my partner away from me. I am not the kind of person to sit back and watch someone else take what is mine, and if need be, I will use force to protect my claim. I am not someone to be messed with.
When it comes to affection, I am a man of many passions. I enjoy everything from sensual touch to playful flirting to passionate kisses to full-on fiery passion. I am a very physical and sensual being, and I enjoy exploring the depths of my partner's body and soul. I relish every touch and every kiss, and I like to make sure that my partner feels loved and appreciated. When it comes to the bedroom, I am a force of nature and a master of the arts.
I prefer dates that involve physical activity, such as going for a run or going to the gym together. I also enjoy activities that allow us to bond and get closer, like cooking together or doing a romantic getaway. I prefer to keep things simple and active rather than expensive and lavish. I also enjoy going out for drinks or doing something thrilling, like taking a ride on a roller coaster or skydiving. I am definitely not one for dinner and a movie, that's for sure.

What are Aenar birthdays like? Do they celebrate them at all? If so, how? (Also, this is my new temp backup blog because I lost my phone with access to my main one (: )
(oh cool- welcome back from exile haha sorry abt ur phone my brother)
And EEEEEE I love this question! YES and I have many many non-canon fluffy things! more below the cut!
Thank you for the ask!
Alright so there's stages with birthdays- like ours on Earth! When you're a kid it's more of a social/fun thing and as you age it's more social and less toy/gift centered.
In general: Birthdays are...complex. Like some indigenous tribes here on Earth, the Aenar don't have set 'milestones' for ages; eg. crawling, talking, etc. The child will learn and grow in their own time and in their own way. 'Normal' and 'average' are myths.
However, birthdays are meaningful because it means you're older, wiser, and have survived the tundra/ice caves for another year! Kid birthdays: Super focused on both the child and family; it's an honor for the kid, sure, but also for the people who created said kid. (specifically who birthed said kid- but that can sometimes be tricky with surrogates and whatnot) Gifts are common, and food is common, but the 'birthday parties' we think of for children are not. On the actual day, it's strictly family time only. Birthday parties (like the ones we think of with cake, balloons, and chaos) are usually held a day or two after.
Teen birthdays: less gifts, more centered around the teen's purpose. If a teen has figured out their purpose in life (eg. Hemmer's is fixing things) then their gifts will center around that thing. (eg. a toolset)
Adult birthdays: This is when the shift from formal to casual takes place. Given the adult has a partner, it shifts from the parents to their partner to plan the day. Single Aenar rely on friends/platonic partners/family to plan the day. Sometimes casual drinking or a casual get-together is in order.
Adults with children: depends on the Aenar but some Aenar partners will let their kids help plan the day/help with decorations. Other Aenar partners will plan a nice 'break' or a more quiet day for their partner.
Elder Aenar: back to formal...only, it's the whole damn city that shows up to the gig. Especially if you're super old/have a far reach. The whole goal of Aenar lives/purposes/life goals is to help each other. Fixing things (eg. Hemmer) protecting things, and other such life purposes are not only for the individual but for the whole community. And thus, when an Aenar gets old, the more and more the community shows up for them- as they have shown up for the community. (Eg. old patients of a retired doctor will gladly show up at a birthday party for them to show their appreciation!)
Common themes/decorations: certain types of music/incense are only played/used for birthdays or special occasions. So, when a child is having a birthday they'll usually be awoken by the smell of incense/a special song that they'll recognize. This actually continues into adulthood- and if the person's partner is cool-- it'll continue until they're quite old.
Food: Naturally, they break out the good stuff. Top-shelf liquor, best-cut meat, and pricey dishes are the bread-and-butter of these get-togethers. After all, what's a more special occasion than celebrating the continuation of life itself?
Anywho, thanks for the ask! I enjoy when y'all ask super cool questions! (which is always lol)

So ive a small request (im the same anon who sent you the prompt of yoosung being in a relationship with a big man) can you please write a one shot about the dinner his family (yoosung's)has arranged for him and his new boyfriend.
Also ngl i keep on imagining the mc taking a selfie with yoosung and his family and its giving Gulliver in Liliput (cuz MC is already very tall and big and yoosung's family are all pretty short people)
Link to the first post!
"You don't have to be so shy, you know. They prepared this dinner for us. I know it's a bit nerve-wracking, but they mean well."
Yoosung was able to sense that MC was feeling rather anxious. It was clear as day to him, really. From his tensed up shoulders to the way that his eyes wouldn't leave his plate, unless he was being spoken to directly. And, Yoosung could relate. Hell, if it was another way around, he knew for sure that he would be a sweating nervous wreck himself. It's always nerve-racking to meet your partner's family. Especially so when your situation is not a conventional one.
But, that's the reason why they were together.
Yoosung was fully aware that his family would need some time to come to terms with and accept his new relationship with MC. Especially his parents and older relatives. His mother didn't have to throw a giant fit for him to understand that she had some very deep rooted reservations that she was simply trying to tiptoe around, but ultimately failing. It was an awkward learning process for them all. To be fair, throughout it all, his sister was a great help in particular. Although she may tease him occasionally, he knew that she was a significant factor in his parents ultimately accepting his love for MC.
Maybe she was the one who suggested arranging this family dinner for them in the first place. He wouldn't rule out the possibility of that happening. Regardless, he was grateful for her help.
MC has shifted slightly in his seat, shooting him an anxious but deeply thankful look. He sighed. "I know... I just don't want to mess this up."
"-You won't." Yoosung reassured him, reaching under the table to take hold of MC's hand and squeeze it confidently. He smiled, hoping to relieve some of his boyfriend's anxiety. He may have been broad and bulky in body, but his heart was as soft as you could get. Another lovely thing about MC that he couldn't wait for his family to see. "You're doing great. Besides, I'm right here. We got this. Together."
He was relieved to see the corners of MC's mouth twitch into a small smile, and he leaned in for a quick nuzzle that left his heart racing. Yoosung knew he was too shy to get too affectionate with each other in front of everybody like that, and he didn't mind it all that much. MC showcased his love and appreciation for him in small but meaningful ways that he has come to learn by heart now.
Despite the awkwardness the rest of the dinner was full of, it was still very sweet. His parents were clumsy, clearly very anxious about not making the wrong impression, and kind of overbearing. But, they were trying. And, it was obvious that they were eager to start things off rightfully this time around. Despite their occasional bizarre but amusing remarks. The good intention was present, and it was uplifting to witness. In a way, his parents were just as anxious as MC was. Something that Yoosung couldn't help but point out with a slight good-natured giggle.
This time around, his mother made sure to get to know MC as a person by asking questions about his life, family, hobbies, and even his favorite food. Yoosung could predict that that one was meant to be a surprise: a tasty gift from her in the future.
His mom wasn't very subtle, though.
Ut was while everyone was just getting ready to clean up the table, when MC suddenly perked up and spoke louder than usual.
"Oh, we should take a picture!"
A quick pause filled the dining room, as everyone was clearly quite surprised to hear a usually very soft-spoken and reserved MC exclaim something with such a booming frequency, even Yoosung included. As MC cleared his throat and scratched the back of his neck in a sheepish manner, his face flushed bright red shortly after. "I mean... before we all clean up. If everyone agrees, of course."
His usual softer tone was back now, much to everyone's amusement.
Yoosung and his sister couldn't help but laugh at that, as she found it just as amusing and endearing as Yoosung did. Despite this, he wished to aid his partner before he would become a big embarrassed tomato. He got up from the table, clasping his hands together to redirect everyone's attention onto himself, a tactic he would use often whenever MC got a bit overwhelmed. "I bet my mom would have dragged us all for a family photo eventually, anyways! I'll go get the camera."
Of course, due to his mother's meticulousness in ensuring everyone looked good at the photo, they all had to spend an additional thirty minutes being manipulated by the older woman as if she were a professional director. Yoosung is familiar with the occurrence, but it is definitely more amusing when MC encounters his mom's quirks for the first time. Funnily enough, his mom has barely made any criticisms against him, mostly making Yoosung be the one to change his position a dozen times over.
It looks like MC has gotten into her good graces after all.
Once the long-suffered perfect picture was completed, everyone was left laughing good-naturedly over MC's broad build ending up above every family member at the table, including Yoosung's father. His mom even joked about inviting MC over to fix their broken closet for them, since his dad couldn't reach the top of it without a stool. Needless to say, his dad wasn't impressed, much to everyone's amusement.
Relaxing and enjoying the family banter without any reservations was a pleasant experience for them both. A positive beginning to a new life of experiences for all of them.
#mystic messenger#mysmes#mysme#mm#yoosung kim#kim yoosung#yoosung x mc#i'm not too proud of this one bc writing domestic little pieces is not my strong suit but i hope it's ok!!

15 Things That Happen When You Fall In Love With Your Life Instead Of A Person
1. You discover what you’re wildly passionate about, and you make time for those things.
Love is beautiful, but it isn’t everything. There are so many other things to be passionate about besides a person—art, photography, music, writing, literature, sports, exercising, work—to just name a few. When you start falling in love with your life, as opposed to investing all your time and energy into a relationship, you find time for the things that light a fire within you, the things that inspire and fuel you. And your life becomes more satisfying and complete as you focus on those things rather than romance.
2. You become more in-tune with your wants and needs.
Falling in love with your life means learning what you love, what you desire, and what you need. It means focusing on your goals and how you can, and will pursue them. It means discovering what you really want out of relationships, out of yourself, out of your existence on this earth, and creating a well-designed plan for your future.
3. You value the relationships that you do have, instead of focusing on the ones you don’t.
Romantic relationships aren’t the only things that fill your life with love and happiness. When you’re focused on things other than your love life, you invest more time in the people who fill you—your family members, friendships, and other platonic relationships. And you learn the incredible value of those people.
4. You travel, explore, and live selfishly.
When you fall in love with your life, you want to squeeze every minute dry. You want to travel to new places, try new foods, explore, and live how you want. This isn’t wrong. Falling in love with your life means taking advantage of what you have and chasing after the things you want. It means doing, going, and truly living.
5. You shift your focus to other important pieces of life.
When you’re not focused on a relationship, you take and make more time for other things—your career, hobbies, future, finances, etc. Your priorities shift in healthy ways and you learn to ground yourself rather than letting a relationship ground you.
6. You spend more time doing things, rather than wishing for things to happen.
Falling in love with your life means that you don’t like to waste time. You don’t like to chase things that don’t build or grow you. You don’t like to live a mediocre, uninspired existence. When you love your life you do things, rather than being a passive character in your own story.
7. You value advice from others, and take time to lend a listening ear.
You want to learn, to experience, to grow, to be inspired. Thus, you value the advice and guidance given to you from others and you’re more willing to be a support system for people who may need you.
8. You take more time to appreciate the little things.
Suddenly, little things like the sunset or a dog curling up next to you on the couch carry meaning. These little things that you so often overlooked are a central focus, and integral part of the wonderful, meaningful life you’re living now.
9. You are continually striving for better.
You pursue a life that supports your dreams, goals, and purpose. You appreciate where you are, but are never satisfied. You want to achieve more, be more, and live even more authentically. You love who you have the potential to be, and are continually trying to build and develop that person.
10. You spend more of your days outside or in nature.
The world around you has more value now. You enjoy hiking, walking, biking, or just sitting outside in the shade. You love just being—around friends or solo, just soaking in the beauty the world has to offer.
11. You feel fulfilled by the memories, experiences, and relationships you have in your day-to-day existence.
When you fall in love with your life, you aren’t looking for a romantic relationship to make you feel whole. You feel complete because of people around you, the experiences you’ve had/are having, and the memories you are continually making. Your happiness isn’t dependent upon a significant other, rather all the tiny, wonderful things that give you meaning and purpose.
12. You pray often, and feel both humble and thankful for what you’ve been given.
Every day, life surprises you with its beauty and wonder. You find yourself praying for the blessings you’ve been given, and relying on your faith to pull you through the hard times. You trust that you will find love when the timing is right; in the meantime, you are thankful and humble for where you are.
13. You no longer feel sad about not being in a relationship; your happiness is invested in, and dependent upon other things.
Your ‘single’ relationship status is no longer a burden or a negative label. You have come to terms with where you’re at romantically, and aren’t looking for a lover to fill a hole in your heart. Instead, your happiness is dependent on your experiences, your passions, your other relationships, and yourself.
14. You find yourself in awe of all that you’ve been through, and of the person you’re still becoming.
When you fall in love with your life rather than a person, you start to value yourself and what you’ve overcome. You start to see your purpose, and how events in your life have shaped or changed you. You find yourself in awe of how you’ve grown, and excited for who you will become.
15. You have learned the slow, beautiful, complicated, rollercoaster ride of loving yourself.
You still have days when you struggle to love yourself, but because your life has shifted from loving someone to loving your existence, you’ve learned to value your own heart and mind. You’ve learned that it’s okay to put yourself first, healthy even. You’ve learned that you are the only one who can determine your happiness. And you’ve learned that when you love your life, love will come when it’s meant to. By: Marisa Donnelly Source: ThoughCatalog

@cerriddwenluna replied to your post “got some news from home which my mind immediately...”:
Mostly dead or all dead?
OKAY SO, y'all know my grandma died around a year ago. My grandma was a hoarder (affectionate). During her life, she collected glass perfume bottles. Now she's gone, and the family is left with thousands of perfume bottles. Thousands. I am not kidding. A lot of (wat de fuck is "nabestaanden" in het Engels?) nabestaanden have gotten some as a memory of her. I have four on my windowsill. We've sold some, cause throwing them away feels kind of wrong. As in, yeah, gran dead, let's kick out her life's work! So we sold some, because we'd rather make other collectors who can appreciate it happy. But, as my family has noticed after a year, daar is geen beginnen aan. Basically, throwing them away is really the easiest, but again, that feels bad. We have no use for them, but it really was her life's work, some of her most prized possessions.
(I have a fic-related point. Bear with me.)
Today I got the news that apparently a castle wants the perfume bottles. I do not know the details, so I don't know if my family is selling or donating, or if the castle wants all of them, or only a couple of hundred, but basically a castle wants them for a museum. They will display her name and present it in an exhibition and I may or may not have almost cried. The idea of having a woman's life work portrayed like that. She is dead, gone, deceased, and yet her work lives on. It is so insignificant on a large scale, yet still significant in its own way. Ever since my uncle died in 2020 and my grandma died in 2022 I have been thinking about legacy and what not, and how we have all these things, but how in a couple of years times, personal belongings of deceased people will be of value because they teach something about ordinary life. For example, I also inherited a book from my grandma. It was written in, I think, the 1860s and it is a dissertation on the first constitution of the Netherlands and I don't give a shit about law, but the fact that this man's dissertation ended up in my grandma's house and that I was able to find him online (geboorteakte, overlijdingsakte, you know) is spectacular. And that I was moved. That I was sad to see he died relatively young. And you may have heard that there's a exhibition on class photo's somewhere. I saw it on het Jeugdjournaal. You know, that kind of stuff? That really moves me. That I can go to an exhibition that displays stranger's belongings and that I can be moved by the thought that they were there, and that they mattered, and the fact that it's happening to my grandma... oh BOy.
And because I am me, and because I still use Klaine fanfiction as the way to express myself (I mean, I didn't write River fic for nothing), I came up with a fic idea of Kurt anno 2023 going to a fashion exhibition and there he finds a massive, massive bow tie collection from the (recently?) deceased B.D. Anderson and he is so moved in the way that I am moved that he is compelled to find out more about this B.D. Anderson. As in, the fic will express what I feel now, and how legacy is being held up, or how useless things can become meaningful as time passes. Basically how Kurt learns about Blaine's life. It starts by thinking: "Damn, who is this B.D. Anderson who collected a shit ton of bowties during his long life?" and how he becomes invested in this story, the same way I can get invested in learning about ordinary people who have died, in the same way someone might get invested in my grandma's life.
But, uh, yeah, Blaine is dead, totally fucking dead-dead, in this idea and if he weren't, then he'd still be way too fucking old for Kurt. Maybe this is going nowhere. Maybe I will find a way. Who knows. But that's what was on my mind.

Ravening War episode four reactions! I finished the episode last night and then fell asleep editing the tags of this post lmao.
Before we even start I am so excited and curious for what the gang have done in the time skip. I love when there’s downtime and we get narration of their lives.
Anjali’s earrings are really pretty
Lou clearly feeling No Guilt Whatsoever about killing the little rot creature
Amangeaux and Karna’s relationship kills me
This is a transaction is such a heartbreaking thing for her to say
Oh goddddd the family dynamics of it all
Aabria crying at the table you are so real <3
The theme of a woman who has been ignorant or foolish in the past encountering a trial and coming out on the other side of it determined to be smart and learn everything that might have helped her is so meaningful to me actually
Not a single eraser is making it out of this season unscathed
I know all the reasons why Amangeaux had to do what she did but I’m also upset on behalf of Karna
Caramel and Oats!
The clock is ticking on getting slammed down big style!
She’s new in town :)
The archbishop??
Everyone has a crush on Ariana. Everyone.
I feel like I’ve lost track of ages. Would Karna be 19 at the end of the time skip?
Yeah what’s Raphaniel been up to?
Oh he’s a husk of a man? Cool.
We all are beginning to see who we really are indeed. Showing true colors etc.
Raphaniel and Karna’s vibes. I have so many thoughts but I cannot verbalize them.
You’ve already died girly???
This world cannot be the one that matters. SIR.
Escaped your grasp is such an interesting way to put that!
Oh he’s so scared
He’s lost everything he believed was important in his life and he is Scared
Creepy!!!
She was bent almost in half for decades holy shit
Holy shit
What a chill reaction!
YES go FULL frollo man hell fucking yeah
Devout for the first time in his life holy shit
How does one even begin to try and trigger this apocalypse
Necromantic Raphaniel is so cool
EXHUMING CORPSES NOW??
Mans fully creating his own faction in the church in order to fuck with the Sanctus
To spend the rest of his days????
Demoted??? :(
Ok so he’s just a random old guy now.
COLIN MY BOY
What’s up with my boy?
Colin and Deli :(
He doesn’t wanna fight. It’s not worth it.
GOD him realizing that his secrets aren’t worth this. Fucks me up.
This really feels like a breakup
So Colin definitely has ties to the royalty/coup in the dairy islands
Base level trust!!!
‘I hope you find what you’re looking for but I don’t think I can be part of it’ tell me this isn’t as emotional as any romantic breakup
Raphaniel and Colin feels Uncomfy and Bad and I cannot place exactly why
From Skald to Sir
The saddest most depressed “come on, provolone”
The stress of Raphaniel & Colin is directly contradicted by the joy of Brennan & Zac
Second time Raphaniel has referenced the FDA as foxes!
He’s looking for the banana’s family?
Oh my god
Colin :(
Listen to your mother I’m gonna cry
“Ew you’re nice” literally same
Deli’s turn!
Man’s haunted huh
Abandoning his mother? Becoming chief? Oh my god?
Aw Deli and Karna moment
Ok so she’s 21 I think
Yessss Karna glow up
Deli glow up too ok go off
YOU NEVER HAD TO ASK
Oh the tension is gorgeous
Dome! Antics! Yeah!
Ok so the kid is (theoretically) safe that’s good
It was not stated but I personally believe that Amangeaux also got a glow up
The first thing she has ever desired beyond her own survival I’m gonna cry
Yeah no she looks Good
I was right, Amangeaux looks good!
I’m so glad we get new art!!
He’s so sinister eeeeeee
Oh Karna’s a skald now???? Ok neat
Aww he and Karna have matching lost eyes
The dramaaaaaa
Yeah it’s just unsettling!
Shoo. Eat a snack.
Just the absolute worst time for a breakdown
Maybe some celery water will fix him
There was a cheese and radish smoothie, and it was good 😭
bLeSSiNgS
Amethar!!!!!
Awww amangeaux cares about them
OH SHIT ANOTHER ROT THING
Drink your celery water old man
Follow meeeee
I greatly appreciate the levity they’re bringing right now
She would do anything for him oh
I simultaneously really want and really Don’t want art of these things

Moms Mother Day Gifts
Mother’s Day is a special occasion to celebrate and honor our moms for their unconditional love and countless sacrifices. Finding the best Mother’s Day gifts can sometimes be a challenge, but with a little thought and effort, you can make this day truly memorable for your mom. Here are some gift ideas to consider:
A. Personalized Jewelry – Best Mother’s Day Gifts Personalized jewelry is one of the best Mother’s Day gifts that you can give to your mom. Not only is it a beautiful accessory, but it also carries a sentimental value that she will cherish for years to come.
Name necklaces: A necklace featuring your mom’s name or the names of her children can be a constant reminder of the love that surrounds her. Choose a design and material that best suits her style, such as gold, silver, or rose gold.
Birthstone bracelets: A bracelet adorned with the birthstones of her children can be both meaningful and fashionable. Consider a customized design that includes her favorite type of bracelet, such as a charm or bangle, to make it even more special.
B. Custom Photo Gifts – Personalized Mother’s Day Gifts Custom photo gifts are another way to create personalized Mother’s Day gifts that your mom will treasure. These unique presents can bring back memories and remind her of the special moments shared with her loved ones.
Photo books: Create a beautiful photo book that captures your family’s most precious memories. This can be a thoughtful keepsake that she can look back on and enjoy for years to come.
Photo mugs: Personalize a coffee or tea mug with a heartwarming photo of your mom and her family. Every time she enjoys her favorite beverage, she’ll be reminded of the love that surrounds her.
C. Experience Gifts
Spa day: Treat your mom to a relaxing spa day where she can unwind and pamper herself. This gift will show her how much you appreciate her hard work and dedication.
Cooking class: If your mom loves to cook, sign her up for a cooking class where she can learn new techniques and recipes. This fun and educational experience can be something you both enjoy together, creating new memories.
D. Tips for Selecting a Thoughtful Mother’s Day Gift Keep in mind your mom’s interests, hobbies, and preferences when choosing a gift. Consider her needs and how the gift can add value to her life. Most importantly, always remember that the thought and love behind the gift matter more than the material aspect.

Be it romantically or as Brotp, but what about Luck and Sally?
Hi there! Thank you so much for the ask and for playing bingo! 💖
(The pink denotes my feelings about them as a romantic ship and yellow denotes my feelings about them as a brotp)
(Not quite a bingo… Oh well… 😅)
As a romantic ship, I know the square says “Nope. Sorry not sorry,” but I am sorry, anon—this one just isn’t for me. 😅 I talked about this in my post about Magna and Luck so I apologize if I’m repeating myself here, but I really just can’t see Luck with anybody in a romantic way. He is just now starting to learn about friendships and family, beginning to heal from his painful past, and building deep and meaningful platonic relationships—which is beautiful but which also means that I don’t think he’ll be ready for a romantic relationship any time soon (possibly ever). In my personal interpretation of him and his character, I’m just not convinced that he’ll ever even want romance or that kind of relationship with anyone. But that’s really just me 😅 The fun thing about fandom is getting to share all different kinds of ideas and interpretations! 😊
As a friendship though, I can definitely see the appeal. They’d have so much joint chaotic energy and lots of fun together! To be honest, it is not one that I had ever really considered before, but sure, why not? It sounds like it could be a fun friendship and very entertaining too! 😂
A few headcanons about their friendship below the cut:
I imagine Luck and Sally really become good friends after their friends start settling down. Neither one of them really want that kind of domestic life, and though they’re still close to their other friends, it’s nice to have someone who is also untethered and can go out to do wild, reckless, and irresponsible things that their married friends wouldn’t/couldn’t.
Luck appreciates that Sally is always up for fighting him, and Sally appreciates that Luck is always up for her experiments. Magna often just shakes his head and says they are a bad influence on each other. When they are together, he often feels like their “mom,” and they tease him for being a stick in the mud until he'll join in whatever rambunctious thing they're doing. (For the record, he doesn’t like having to be “the responsible one.”)
Luck and Sally as a collective have been banned from multiple establishments throughout the Clover Kingdom for being rowdy and destructive. Charmy and Vanessa have threatened to ban them from their restaurant on multiple occasions, but eventually settled on banning them from being at the restaurant at the same time. 😅
Whenever Sally visits the Black Bulls’ Hideout, whoever is the first to see her making her away across the lawn generally yells “man the battle stations” to alert everyone else on the squad who frantically start running around to gather up and hide anything valuable or breakable. Overall though, everyone is glad Luck has found a good friend in Sally—even if their base does pay the price for it from time to time.
Sally fits in pretty well with the chaotic Black Bulls squad. Depending on everyone's mood, sometimes she and Luck can even convince some of the others to spar with them—usually Magna or Asta. Gordon also joins in their chaos every now and again (though in a quiet, not-so-chaotic way), and he quickly considers Sally one of his dear friends because she is such good friends with Luck and makes a doll of her for his collection. A lot of the others mostly try to stay out of it (and especially out of the line of fire), however. While they are glad to see that Luck is making new friends, they decide to be happy for him from a "safe distance." Finral, for instance, swears Luck and Sally’s friendship has taken years off of his life—to which Luck usually replies “That’s silly! You’re not even involved.” While Noelle is just glad that sparring with Luck distracts Sally from wanting to run experiments on Asta.
Luck fits right in with Sally’s friends from the former Eye of the Midnight Sun too. Rades and Valtos teach him how to gamble at cards, and he is extremely good at it. They all meet once a month to play, and if Luck wins, he always offers to gives them all their money back if they agree to fight him. Occasionally, they take him up on this offer. 😁
Sally and Luck have invented multiple (incredibly dangerous) games that generally involve trying to hit objects or each other with their magic, and they cycle through them, playing them together periodically. They tried to teach the extreme version of magical capture of the flag they invented to some of Luck’s “nephews and nieces,” but they were forced to modify the rules to make it safer for children to play. Even so, the game was a huge hit and Sally and Luck are still considered “absolutely the coolest” in the eyes of the next generation of Black Bulls.
Thanks for asking, anon! 😊

Life on Multiple Tracks
At 22, Earl reflects on how his views on health and fitness have changed. In high school, wellness wasn’t a priority, but college shifted his perspective.
“College changed me a lot”
“It taught me discipline for a healthier life.”
This commitment to wellness now shapes his daily routines and approach to life.
Earl’s mornings are structured and purposeful. He starts with a warm-up, enjoys a cup of tea, and completes some simple chores to set a productive tone.
Self-care is important to him, so he makes time to relax. He often takes naps or plays basketball on his days off to recharge. Though he had more energy in his youth, he acknowledges that adulthood brings new challenges.
“Adulting has brought responsibilities that impact my stamina”
Now, he focuses on keeping his energy steady and building long-term healthy habits.
Earl’s independence has also shaped his approach to problem-solving.
“Becoming an adult has been challenging,”
“but it’s taught me to find answers and make decisions.”
With more responsibilities, he now trusts his judgment and is proactive about learning new skills for personal and professional growth.
Setting goals is another important part of his routine, helping him stay on track with both big projects and daily tasks.
“By focusing on what I can control, I try to manage future uncertainties with both optimism and realism,”
This approach keeps him grounded while he works toward his long-term goals.
As he has grown, his social circle has also changed. High school friendships have deepened into more meaningful relationships with people who share his values. Earl has also learned to manage stress and prioritize self-care differently.
“I find balance by taking intentional breaks, engaging in hobbies, and spending time with family and friends,”
He stated, noting that adulthood has deepened his appreciation for close relationships.
“Family has become even more important as I’ve grown independent,” he adds.
The relationships he values most today are those that keep him grounded and support his growth.
His journey through adulthood has not been without challenges. Time management, growing responsibilities, and maintaining motivation are ongoing hurdles. To stay motivated, Earl celebrates “small wins,” which help him maintain a positive outlook.
“Success now is about finding peace and freedom from worrying over needs and wants,”
he said, describing a shift in his perspective. Where success once meant material achievements, it now centers on personal fulfillment and well-being.
Reflecting on his progress, Earl is proud of what he has achieved.
“Honesty and discipline shape every choice I make,”
he stated, crediting his family’s support for helping him face challenges with determination.
“They guide and support me, especially when things get difficult,”
he adds, highlighting the importance of their role in his life.
One of the most surprising parts of adulthood for Earl has been the increase in responsibility and independence.
“I didn’t realize how much independence and responsibility would change me,” he reflects.
Now, success means finding peace of mind and meeting both needs and desires, rather than simply material goals.
When asked what advice he would give his younger self, Earl is thoughtful:
“I’d tell myself to be more trustworthy in friendships, honest in love, and positive in life. Life is a journey, so embrace every moment and learn along the way.”
This advice reflects the lessons he has learned and his personal growth.
Recently, Earl faced a new challenge during his training at TESDA, which taught him the value of planning and perseverance.
“Balancing training with other priorities wasn’t easy,”
he admits, but his family’s support kept him going.
“My family is the reason I keep going. They’re always there to guide me, especially when things get difficult.”
If he could title this phase of his life, Earl would call it “Becoming”—a time of growth, self-discovery, and learning. Though he sometimes finds adult responsibilities daunting, he’s also found aspects he enjoys. If given the chance, he would revisit high school for a week to relive carefree moments and the boundless energy of youth.
Despite his busy life, Earl prioritizes staying connected with loved ones.
“I’m incredibly grateful for their presence,”
Recently, he received advice that resonated deeply:
“Focus on what you can control, and don’t let what you can’t weigh you down.”
This advice reminds him to stay grounded, enjoy small moments, and live fully.
Earl’s reflections show a journey marked by resilience, gratitude, and growth. Each day brings him closer to a life filled with meaning and pride. His story shows that while adulthood has its challenges, it’s also a chance to embrace change, develop new habits, and build lasting relationships that make life fulfilling.

From Proposals to Anniversaries: Unique Marriage Gift and Decoration Ideas
Gifts That Reflect Tradition and Faith:
A Muslim wedding is a beautiful celebration of faith, family, and the sacred bond of marriage. Choosing a meaningful gift for the happy couple reflects your respect for their traditions and your joy for their union. Here are some thoughtful gift ideas that go beyond the typical wedding presents, encompassing both practical and symbolic gestures:
Gifts with Islamic Significance:
Quran with Arabic Calligraphy: A beautifully bound Quran with intricate Arabic calligraphy is a timeless and spiritually significant gift. Consider choosing one with an elegant cover or a special inscription on the inside page for an even more personalized touch. This is a gift that can be cherished and consulted throughout their life together.
Prayer Rug: A beautiful and practical gift, a prayer rug signifies their commitment to their faith and provides a sacred space for them to connect with their spirituality. Choose a high-quality rug with intricate designs or a traditional pattern that reflects the couple's style.
Miswak Holder: A traditional miswak holder with a beautiful design or crafted from precious materials is a unique and practical gift. This tool, a twig used for oral hygiene, holds cultural and religious significance within Islam.
Islamic Art or Calligraphy: Consider a framed piece of Islamic art or a calligraphy artwork displaying beautiful Arabic script. This is a meaningful way to bring a touch of faith and beauty to their home, reflecting the sacred nature of their union.
Thoughtful and Practical Gifts:
Kitchen Appliances: As the couple starts their life together, a high-quality blender, food processor, or a rice cooker will be useful and appreciated. These kitchen tools can simplify meal preparation and bring convenience to their daily routine.

Luxury Bath Towels or Robes: A set of luxurious bath towels or plush robes provides a touch of comfort and pampering, perfect for creating a spa-like experience in their bathroom.
Experiences That Build Memories:
Weekend Getaway: Plan a romantic escape to a serene hill station, a vibrant coastal city, or a historically rich destination that aligns with their interests. This thoughtful gift offers them a chance to relax, reconnect, and create beautiful memories together in a beautiful setting.
Hajj or Umrah Pilgrimage: For a truly meaningful gift, consider contributing to their journey to perform Hajj or Umrah, two sacred pilgrimages for Muslims. This act of generosity will be cherished and deeply appreciated by the couple.
Cooking Classes: A personalized cooking class allows them to learn the art of preparing delicious and authentic Muslim dishes together. This experience will strengthen their connection and create delicious memories in the kitchen.
Gifts with a Personal Touch:
Personalized Photo Album or Scrapbook: Compile a collection of photos, memories, and heartfelt messages that reflect your friendship with the couple. Include photos of their wedding celebrations, shared moments, and words of blessings and well wishes. This personalized gift becomes a cherished keepsake, reminding them of the love and support they have from you.
Engraved Jewelry: Consider a necklace, bracelet, or a watch engraved with a special message, an Islamic quote, or their wedding date. This adds a personal touch and creates a unique and lasting symbol of their love.
Artwork or Calligraphy: Choose a beautiful framed piece of Islamic art or calligraphy displaying a meaningful verse from the Quran. This adds a touch of spirituality and artistic beauty to their home and serves as a constant reminder of their faith and commitment.
Tips for Choosing the Perfect Gift:
Remember, the most meaningful gift is one that reflects your love and respect for their culture and faith. Consider:
Their Personal Preferences: Think about their interests, hobbies, and style preferences. A gift that resonates with them will be truly appreciated.
The Spirit of the Celebration: Choose a gift that embodies the joy, spirituality, and sacredness of their wedding day.
Your Budget: Set a budget that feels comfortable for you and focus on choosing a gift that is meaningful and heartfelt.

A Year of Giving: My New Year’s Resolution to Donate Monthly Shaina Tranquilino November 1, 2024
It's November, and I can hardly believe how quickly this year has flown by. As we approach the end of 2024, I find myself reflecting on my New Year’s resolution: to donate to a different organization every month. This resolution has enriched my year in ways I never anticipated. With each month, I've had the chance to learn about, engage with, and support a wide range of causes, from humanitarian aid to animal welfare, environmental preservation to mental health services.
As the eleventh month rolls in, I’m thrilled to share that my November donation goes to Nature Saskatchewan.
Why I Chose Nature Saskatchewan
Nature Saskatchewan is an organization close to my heart for a few reasons. Established in 1949, it has been a pillar of conservation, education, and research in the province for nearly six decades. Their work focuses on observing, documenting, and protecting Saskatchewan’s rich biological diversity. But what I love most is that they don’t just protect nature—they also promote an appreciation for it. Through educational programs and community engagement, Nature Saskatchewan inspires people to gain knowledge and appreciation of the natural world, creating a lasting connection that ultimately motivates them to protect it.
I’ve always believed that conservation begins with awareness. People protect what they love, and they love what they understand. Nature Saskatchewan’s mission to foster both love and understanding of nature aligns perfectly with this belief. I wanted my November donation to go toward an organization that not only guards the environment but also builds that cultural link to nature, which is such a vital part of true conservation.
The Journey So Far
When I set this goal back in January, picking a different organization each month seemed challenging—there are so many deserving causes, and the sheer choice can feel overwhelming. However, it has been incredibly rewarding to dive into a new area each month. I’ve supported local charities, international aid organizations, mental health foundations, and environmental groups. Each donation has brought with it a sense of connection, purpose, and, perhaps most importantly, gratitude.
One of the most fulfilling aspects has been seeing how many different ways people work to make the world a better place. No matter the cause, every organization I’ve supported this year has had one thing in common: a passionate commitment to positive change. Supporting Nature Saskatchewan this month feels like the perfect continuation of this journey, especially as it ties back to a lifelong love of nature and a deep respect for those who work tirelessly to preserve it.
A Reflection on Giving
I’ve found that giving has enriched my life far beyond the monetary value of the donations. Each contribution has opened my eyes to issues I might not have known about and inspired me to engage in discussions, educate myself, and sometimes even volunteer. It’s easy to feel disconnected from the problems we don’t see up close, but committing to support different causes regularly has grounded me in the understanding that we’re all part of a much bigger community, and every little bit we do helps.
If anyone reading this has considered a similar goal for next year, I wholeheartedly recommend it. Donating monthly has turned out to be not just a financial commitment but also a personal journey of learning and compassion. It’s reminded me that we all have a part to play, and even small contributions add up to something meaningful when done consistently.
Looking Ahead to December and Beyond
With only one month left to complete my year of giving, I’m already thinking about how to wrap up this resolution in a way that feels just as fulfilling as each month so far. Perhaps I’ll choose an organization focused on holiday support for families in need, or maybe something to help communities affected by climate change. I also find myself thinking about how I can continue to support the causes I’ve come across this year on a longer-term basis.
As the holiday season approaches, it feels like the perfect time to end the year of giving on a note of hope and generosity, not just for others but for myself as well. The act of giving, after all, has a way of coming full circle.
Why Not Join In?
If you feel inspired, consider supporting Nature Saskatchewan this month too, or look into other organizations doing meaningful work in your area. Even small donations can make a big impact, and as I’ve learned this year, the act of giving—no matter the amount—is a gift in itself. https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/nature-saskatchewan/
