THE FOOL'S JOURNEY. || a satosugu poem. text below. feel free to reblog :)

CONCEPT: the sun sets and the sky looks like raspberries. we reach up and take one from a bush, bursting and juicy. the clouds touch our fingers shyly and we laugh and laugh until our stomachs hurt in the best way.

CONCEPT: we are becoming dull with age. we are still alive. i tell you about the raspberries and you tell me we are too old to believe in magic. i ask, is it the growing up that leaves us empty? you stay silent. the next morning there is a note on the counter. fear, it says. fear. i wonder how much courage it took to write it down.

CONCEPT: a home in which fear is an invite only guest. and we do not send an invitation. do not even throw a party.

CONCEPT: the day ends and you barge into our dorm room. yell and yell. grab my arm. chase me out into the night. you say, look at the sky. it is all cranberry and red. look, see how the wind grows strawberries? see the fields? how they breathe on indefinitely? and, lord, the look on your face. it is breathtaking. your mouth twisting up in joy.

CONCEPT: we eat from the vine. the stars wink their little eyes at us. the moon listens as we weave her a story. nothing stills until dawn.

CONCEPT: we stay here forever. fear does not reach us in this place. it is only our front yard but it is wild. it is brim filled with dreams. it is an accomplishment. to grow and still believe. it is magic. it is ours. in the best way, it is ours.

I too headcanon that my Lavellan gets (unintentionally) pregnant just before the breakup, has a child between DAI and Trespasser and well... I imagine she would do her best to keep the child secret from everyone, but I am not sure how feasible that would truly be :) She certainly does not tell Solas in Trespasser.

oooooh yes another one! i definitely think there's some feasibility, but it depends - in part i think it depends how much the child looks like her, because there's almost definitely families running around Skyhold by the time of trespasser, between the Inquisition's soldiers and other staff. so it's entirely possible that if the relationship is never acknowledged publicly and they don't look too similar, they could just be treated as another random elf kid....

BUT secrets like that are never completely secrets. because there's the core companions, who would know. the advisors, who know. the midwife who delivered the baby. and rumors spread, and we know the Inquisition wasn't as secure as Leliana believed it to be...so there's definitely room to go multiple ways here.

imagine the angst of Solas finding out she had his child from one of his spies and waiting during trespasser to see if she'll mention it to him and getting to be torn up when she doesn't, wondering if it means she does not want him as part of his child's life........

The scene where Viserys consents to the c-section on Aemma’s behalf against her wishes is horrifying to watch. She’s literally screaming “no, Viserys, please” as the maester cuts into her. She’d told him that she didn’t want to try for more kids, and then he butchers her for a son. It is particularly sickening because Viserys claims to love her.

The producers said they'd not depict sexual violence against women, and then they do that to Aemma Arryn in literally the first episode. Is that not violence? Is reproductive violence not a form of sexual violence? Is the disregard for Aemma's autonomy not violent?

Furthermore, Viserys largely ignores his sons once he finally has them, so what was the point of Aemma's violent death? In the book, it appears that Viserys married Alicent out of love rather than a desire for sons, which makes more sense. However, the show's depiction of him as complicit in Aemma's brutal death and then neglecting the sons he sacrificed her for lacks coherence.

Moon 14: Too Much Action

Done everything I can! Sealed Siblings and Dream no More endings both acquired :)

Mapped every room transition except two in Path of Pain, but using spoiler mode just before fighting Radi showed that the only unmapped rooms left had nothing in them that I need. The only boss I can't encounter is No-Eyes (somewhere beyond Path of Pain) and I didn't bother with Oblobbles/God Tamer/Nightmare King but did the other dream bosses and found every charm. Did first pantheon for the Brothers fight too (for fun) then called it a run! I could have fought Radi a few days ago and found THK fairly early but I wanted to 'complete' the map and find more upgrades so here we are :D

This final animation is so sick Flame, this whole skin has been amazing to use I LOVE it <3<3<3
