Started watching ninjago with mah friends.

Me and one of them have seen some of the first seasons years ago and one of us is seeing it for the first time.

Yeah, I know we have a test later today and I'm supposed to be studying with my friends cause our two classes got cancelled this morning. But-

Safe to say, I was Shooked when we started the first episode cause I remember watching the pilot episodes and was so sad and confused as to why my skeleton buddies weren't there.

I THINK CROWLEY WAS A SERAPH?????

yes like the seraphim. like the highest order of heaven. like. the angels who have six wings and eyes all over them.

i understand that i probably need to provide evidence even though this is definitely just a headcanon currently. i'm very interested in mythology as a pagan, and i study demonic and angelic hierarchies in my spare time. so this is something i'm very interested in and i feel like i've cracked the case.

SO a couple things from the new season have been making me think that crowley was a rlly high ranking angel.

like we all knew that it was a little weird how he had the power to literally stop time in the first season. and then in this season, we see him literally manufacture star nurseries and nebulas. he's a lot more powerful than he lets on. as someone else described, he's incredibly powerful and being "just some guy" about it.

anyway we get some hints about what level of angel he's at. in the last episode, muriel tells him that only those ranked thrones or dominions or higher can access certain files in heaven. and crowley can.

now quickly, here are the ranks of the angels.

now, higher orders don't necessarily mean they are more powerful. in the context of good omens alone, gabriel is the supreme archangel and the most powerful. and even though principalities (like aziraphale) are ranked closer to god, they are less powerful than archangels.

so yeah crowley totally could have been an archangel, except they're ranked below thrones and dominions which means he couldn't have accessed the files. it doesn't even seem like saraqael could have accessed them, as she just watched even though she is an archangel. so i think crowley once upon a time was a higher rank than an archangel.

so that leaves four candidates. dominions, thrones, cherubim and seraphim. and thanks to a little line in episode 201, i think i've worked it out.

when beelzebub warns crowley about heaven's extreme sanctions, crowley tells them that (paraphrasing), "extreme sanctions aren't a thing. we just made them up to scare the cherubs."

THE CHERUBS. now, the plural of cherub is cherubim, and a cherub is often depicted as a baby angel, with similar iconography to cupid. so it makes sense that he's describing making up a story to scare the baby angels but it ALSO implies that the cherubim were ranked beneath him.

what's the only order of angels above cherubim? seraphim. va-voom.

and in case i need to further prove my case, do you know what the base word for seraphim is? it's the hebrew saraph, which means "burning" and sometimes is used as a noun to denote... "serpent."

i've never really been into the fan theory that crowley was raphael before the fall. and now i don't think i do, mainly because im convinced he was one of the seraphim and raphael is always described as an archangel.

we might never know crowley's angel name, if it was different to his demon one. but i think the main takeaway is that he was a lot more powerful than first impressions might serve.

alright im sure that this fandom is full of ghosts (ha) at the minute but i just watched school spirits and looking through the tag i see a common theme which is the shock about how many kids died on campus. but with the reveal in the final episode... doesn't it sort of make sense? spoilers + speculation under the cut

now, i've only just watched the series once, and of course i didn't know exactly what to be looking for on my first watch. but here's what we know:

we had main character ghosts specifically from the 70s, 80s, 90s... the earliest ghosts i remember being mentioned were mr. martin and janet from 1958. now i don't doubt that i missed some, and there's a possibility there are older spirits.

but either way, mr. martin was revealed to be able to move physical objects as a ghost.

he was seen by maddie before she was possessed, able to write in actual notebooks that got stored (and changed the physical / 'alive' world around them, which they supposedly weren't able to do?) and hoard the objects directly related to the other ghosts' deaths.

he's been treating the ghosts like a science experiment for the last sixty years, documenting everything they've told him, the entire reason for him setting up the support group.

and, oh yeah, he caused the fire that killed himself and a student.

doesn't it stand to reason that a ghost who wants to study other ghosts might, i don't know, find a way to... make more? get himself more test subjects? this might be why he discouraged them thinking about the ways in which they died. we know ghosts are able to possess people... when they were speaking privately, i got the feeling rhonda's guidance councilor and mr. martin were very... similar. hm.

he may have manipulated those situations just a bit, causing death and creating new ghosts for him to study. the only death we actually saw was dawn's, where a light bulb started to flicker, calling attention to her and getting her to electrocute herself in order to stay hidden. we've seen several times in the series ghosts affecting electricity, even if it isn't explicitly pointed out. plus, dawn's hand on the light bulb is part of the intro sequence, a detail i found quite curious, even after that reveal.

i think, with the information we have right now, the amount of ghosts in that school makes perfect sense, actually.

ok so like, infinite. right?

so we are coming up to the release of SXSG and i want to talk about this guy, cus he might be in it. I talked about this very topic on a different thred and twitter.

I went to go read the comic, read the song lyrics, and watch all the cutsenes (i haven't played forces). Studying* all of this leads me to one conclusion. they forgot to make it all connect.

so like squad jackal, they look like they could be family since they look so similar (fir and eye colour) but that is mostly just speculation. even so i think he does care about them (keep this in mind) and he likes them.

i feel like he wants them to have a better life and hes a little sick of this life. (even though he wants to be the ultimate mercenary ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) and thats his motivation some lyrics in his theme even point to this "When everything you know has come and gone (You are at your lowest, I am rising higher) Only scars remain of who I was (What I find in the ashes, you lose in the fire) When there's no one left to carry on (This is an illusion, open up your eyes, and) This pain persists, I can't resist But that's what it takes to be infinite"

"'Cause if you're messing with me I am a dangerous weapon I am the sharpest of blades I'll cut you down in a second 'Cause I was born in this pain It only hurts if you let it So if you think you can take me Then you should go and forget it"

but here is the problem. In the game he seems like nothing other then "i want to rule the world cus evil" there's some dialog saying that his whole squad was k!lled and he get orders from egg man to go take out shadow who just took out squad jackal.

but now he has no motivation, like you would think hed want to kale shadow but he doesn't really do that, its mostly just kida floating around breaking all the phantom ruby prototypes. and yeah he could recreate squad jackal with the ruby but they wouldn't have like a soul so i dont think hed so that.

and yaknow that one part were shadow calls him weak? yeah that left a bad taste in everyone's mouth just thinking doesn't like being called weak and thinks hes strong. But the context is so bad thanks to the righting. none picked up on the fact that HIS WHOLE SQAUD WAS JUST KILED BY SHADOW, AND CALLED USELESS.

he doesn't sound (or even look) very sad but i don't think he would be a sopping mess of tears for anything.

Alright i should have said in the start that i suck at righting on the fly, but im going to try to tie all my points together.

First, infinite was very likely born into life of killing and being a nomad. second, he has been doing this a while and has grown sick of this life. third, he wants a better life for himself and his squad so he can be the ultimate mercenary without having too worry about being forced to do it. fourth, the people he wanted a better life for are all dwead thanks to shadow, and now he has to go and face shadow not in the right head space to do so or be prepared for a teleporting hedgehog who is the ultimate lifeform. and now he puts a mask and a very powerful rock. to get revenge (even tho he doesnt really go after shadow idk man¯\_(ツ)_/¯).

follow all that? yeah the game explains nearly NON of this to the player. in base forces infinite is just generically evil and wants to rule the world with or without egg man. in episode shadow, hes treated like a joke who hates being called weak. yeah squad jackal is mentioned but the player knows nothing about who they are just that infinite is there leader.

i feel like infinite is and can be good but they just didn't make him good just put a bunch of things that WOULD make him good but didn't put it together.

would LOVE to hear your thoughts on supernatural + hinduism 👀👀

i got 2?? whole asks asking me to talk about this?? i’ve been training my whole life for this exact moment

ok so: im hindu, my whole family is hindu, i’ve been studying and learning about hinduism for my whole life. if you want me to elaborate on any of the myths, gods, monsters, etc. that i mentioned pls pls pls let me know, i love talking about this stuff and i never get the chance. 

also this got suuuuuper long so: 

spn only brings up three things that have to do with hinduism (i think. pls tell me if there’s more, i stopped watching at s11). both kali ma and lord ganesha are in s5 e19 hammer of the gods, and the brothers hunt a vetala in s7 e11 adventures in babysitting.

first, kali ma or kalika devi. this is, hands down, their biggest fuck up. kali ma (i call her kali ma, kali devi, or kalika devi as a sign of respect, but the episode just refers to her as kali) has the largest part and most lines out of any of the gods in 5x19. 

and their portrayal of her uh. kinda sucks. for refernce, kalika devi was created in order to a kill a demon who’s power was that anytime a drop of his blood touched the ground, a clone of himself would appear. basically - impossible to kill. you wanna know how she killed him? kalika devi drank his blood and ate his body so that he couldn’t clone himself anymore.

she’s also known as the protector, the mother, and the destroyer. kali ma is who the gods turn to when something goes wrong for them. it’s gross and disrespectful that a washed up former angel can kill her without batting an eye, because in reality, she is far more powerful and far more terrifying than lucifer. 

side note: i really liked the way she looked in the show! the actress was great and i appreciate them getting a darker desi actress, because kali ma canonically has dark skin. the jewelry was cool, although in myth kali ma is depicated as an emaciated woman wearing animal furs and skulls, with bloodshot eyes and her tongue hanging out. basically, i think they could’ve made her scarier, but it’s supernatural and all women must be fuckable.

lord ganesh or ganesha (some people say ganesh, i grew up wth ganesha) is the other hindu god in 5x11. there’s not much i can say because he’s in the episode for like. 5 seconds but the parts he is in are uh. not great. he’s introduced through a clip of dean walking past an open door and seeing an elephant, then doing a double take and seeing ganesha, who’s portrayed as a large black man.

the idea of ganesha just being an elephant is really, really weird. he was brought to life by the goddess parvati, and had his head cut off and replaced with an elephant’s head. so there’s no reason he’d ever be an elephant?? he’s not an animal?? did they google him?? also, lord ganesha is 1000% vegetarian, to the point where a large part of the holiday dedicated to him is gathering plants for him to eat. it’s so gross to even insinuate that he might eat meat, especially human.

the same issue with kali ma applies here too. lord ganesha is the god of removing obstacles and making goals easier. he’s who you pray to before any ceremony or hardship. the idea that lucifer could take him out like that is disgusting and colonialist.

also, a quick note on his appearance: lord ganesha is portrayed by keith dallas, who’s a black american. i’m glad they got his size right, as ganesha is canonically fat. and black hindus do exist! especially in the caribbean and parts of africa, when indians were brought over to those places by the british. if this was a show that had a more diverse team, paid more attention to details, or cared more about accuracy, i’d assume that this was a deliberate choice to highlight the diversity of hindus. but i’m certain it was the crew going “all people of color are the same, they won’t even notice.” which is fucked. 

finally, the vetalas. the vetala is a hindu ghost that is created when a body does not receive a proper funeral (because bodies in hinduism are supposed to be cremated, if the body is not properly burnt, a vetala can form). they’re confined to certain areas, usually forests, and they really aren’t harmful unless you’re intruding on or fucking with them. there are stories of kings trying to remove them but like. they are literally nothing like the spn version. what the fuck was that. just call it something else.

Ahn Hye Jin is a goddess. Everyone who has seen her either loves her, or hate her because they want to be her. With beauty, fame and charisma that goes off the charts, who could blame when you were to be drawn in like a moth to the light? Of course given the opportunity, you chose to chase after her disregarding the fact there were probably many others like you. It was a chance given, and it would be foolish not to grab at it. Be it getting your manager to buy her favorite drinks so you can drop it off for her whenever she was at the company practicing, leaving little notes with a container of food for her to heat up when she stays back for more practicing on her own or even occasionally popping by the studio when you had some free time off your schedules, you did you best to let your presence be known to her. Management didn't know of your crush, brushing it off as admiration for your senior whose group literally built up the company, and you'd prefer for it to stay that way lest you get kicked out barely a year into debuting. Hyejin however, knew of your intentions. You've made it clear to her when you gathered up the courage to manage to stammer out a "I like you." Before you could hear whoops from Wheein and feel the stares coming from the other two older members directed at you.

Over time, you've managed to also worm your way into the rest's hearts as they realized how pure your intentions were, and how far you'd go to try take care of their strong-headed maknae. Seeing as to how Hyejin has never properly rejected you, they slowly started putting in words for you whenever they spot your gifts for her, planting what they'd hope to be the seeds that will help make their youngest happier. It started from "Look at how thoughtful she is!" To “Hey look, guess who dropped by again today~?” Each time, she would only smile and wave away at her member’s teasing as she accept her gifts with a smile.

The small interactions with Hyejin and the rest of her members were great as you slowly got to know them more, just as friends. Sharing jokes and they would sometimes even invite you up for a meal together. It wasn’t until a few weeks later of skirting around your very obvious infatuation with Hyejin did you actually put up your mind to do something. Nodding to yourself, you gathered up the courage and knocked on the door. Cheers were heard from inside and as routine, Hyejin came to the door to open it for you. Passing over her drink with a smile, she stood waiting accepted it with a small chuckle and thanks. Right before she turned away, you called out to her. Looking back at you questioningly, you took a few deep breath to try settle your pounding heart. “One date. Just give me one date. I’ll show you that I’m serious.” You could see her eyes widen in surprise and slowly cover her mouth with her hand. You shift nervously, not daring to break the eye contact. She was the one who looked away first and her gaze fell to the ground, seemingly deep in thought. Noticing the longer than usual interaction, the rest of the members curiously peeked over one another to observe the situation. Putting the pieces together, Wheein shared glances with the older members and back to her best friend and voiced out her thoughts. “Why don’t you give it a shot?” Slowly looking over to her, Hyejin studied her expression, followed by the encouraging looks Moonbyul and Yongsun was giving before going back to her own thoughts for a bit longer. All the while you stood, head slowly lowering, feeling your throat and chest slowly coiling and tightening on themselves while you prepare yourself for the rejection incoming. “So what do you have in mind?” Snapping your head up, you find her staring right at you. You could almost hear your own heartbeat as you let out a breath you didn’t even notice you were holding. Glancing past her, you see the enthusiastic nodding and thumbs up given to you by the rest of her members and you pulled out your phone. “I’ll text you the details?”

As far as records go, the company only saw this meet up as a nice meal between a member of their top girl group and their solo artist. You’ve managed to book a small table at a café that you were introduced by a few friends. It was a cozy little place near an alleyway, just a little out of the way of where the crowd would usually go. Settling down in the corner, you were both handed a small menu. Skimming over, you decided to place an order of a cup of coffee and a macaron for a sweet treat. Hyejin took a little longer to look through the menu but also ended up with just a cup of coffee. There was an awkward tension in the air as you constantly try to find topics to speak about to engage the woman sitting opposite of you when all you could get in reply was a few words in reply. With a smile, you could only nod and let the silence blanket the both of you as your drinks and snack came. Every time you looked up from sipping your drink, you could see her silently in her own thoughts and decided not to bother her lest she finds you annoying. It was when you were on the last few sips of your drinks did Hyejin finally speak up.

“I don’t want to be harsh but I don’t think we’d go well together.”

The words echoed in your head as they processed into what she was trying to say. You swallowed down the harsh reality that hit you right in your chest and nodded with a small understanding smile. “Thank you for at least giving me a chance, and of course, being honest with me.” Nodding back, Hyejin went back to sipping her drink as the silence once again settled between the both of you, this time for you to quietly nurse your heart. Setting down the empty cups, the both of your stood as you pulled out your phone and texted your manager to pick the both of you up. While waiting outside the café, Hyejin couldn’t bring herself to look at you. A part of her felt that she had led you on, despite it just being that she couldn’t understand of her own feelings. To make everything simpler for everyone, the best choice would be to reject and ignore it. A hand coming towards her in the corner of her eye surprised her, and with that she finally look at you again. “Friends?” Raising your eyebrow, you silently prayed that whatever happened wouldn’t ruin whatever relationship you had between her and her members. “Friends.” Raising her hand to shake yours, a smile bloomed across her face in relief that you held no anger towards her.

You understood that it will definitely take time to get over the fact that you had a crush on Hyejin, so you chose not to avoid it. Instead, you faced the rejection straight on, and went up to Mamamoo’s studio even more often to interact more with everyone whenever you had the time. Every now and again, you’d also have a member or two pop up in your studio to join in the chaos, much so adding up to your manager’s headache of trying to keep your appearance as an idol intact, knowing well fully that the random moments you shared with the group would most likely air out as update episodes in your mini vlog series. It took a while to realize that by taking a step back from pursuing Hyejin, that you got so much more closer to her. The awkwardness melted away and what was left was a healthy friendship.

It also took a while for Hyejin to realized how much more she had been looking to spend time with you. Or that the increasing number of comments in your vlog series were commenting on how much and fondly she looked at you. It became almost a daily thing to exchange greetings from dawn and annoy one another through text till dusk fell. It got to the point where whenever her phone’s notification rang, does she perk up and rush to it and if it was not a reply from you, she would falter and according to Wheein, “Look like a kicked puppy.” If you had a schedule when she was free, she sometimes tag along with an excuse to keep you company but if you could see her behind all the staff, you’d notice her intense gaze as she studies you. The way you moved, the way you laughed, and even to the way your chest rise and fall as you breathed. Part of her knew what was happening, but she refused to act upon it. It wasn’t fair that you were the one who risked your career to chase her only for her to reject you, and now suddenly changing her mind. You on the other hand didn’t seem to notice all the extra attention you were getting from her and it annoyed Hyejin to a certain extend. She wanted the smiles you gave to everyone directed to only her. She wanted the jokes you shared and the laughter you gave to just be shared between you two.

It drove her crazy, the more she explored her feelings for you. It made her feel things that scared her. Scenarios would appear in her head as she watches you interact with others. Your words would race through her mind as she goes about her day. Images and memories of your gifts and notes pulled on her heartstrings. Maybe. Hyejin silently thinks to herself. Just maybe, I might be crazy. Chuckling to herself as she stopped in front of a set of doors, she sighed. That’s still better than letting someone else hold you, right? Looking up at the sign that stated the opening hours, she pulled out her phone to do a quick check of the time and pushed open to step through the set of doors.

The bass vibrated throughout the entire room as music boomed from the speakers in the practice room. Your eyes were trained upon your form as you connected each movement of your body to flow with the beat of the music. Seeing how focused you were on perfecting the dance routine, your manager could only sigh in failed attempt of trying to make you promise to not overwork yourself when your comeback was right around the corner before leaving for the night. At some point through the evening, you had shed your hoodie, leaving you in a cooling sports bra and sweat pants. Despite the lesser layers, you were drenched in sweat, and your hair had fallen from their ponytail, leaving them sticking uncomfortably to your face and body. Your body cried out in exhaustion as you slowed to a halt along with the music and panted to catch your breath. Slowly pushing yourself upright again, you groaned, body resisting the idea of one last run through of the routine. Right as you were about to hit the play button on your phone again, the soundproofed door of your studio swung open.

Your squeak echoed the room and your eyes darted up and widened in surprise to meet hers through the mirror’s reflection. It took a second for your body and brain to relax when you realized that the intruder meant no harm when you noticed both her hands were occupied. Slowly turning and walking over to the back of the studio where she had moved from the door, you look at Hyejin questioningly before your gaze dropped to the contents in her hands. Instead of putting it down onto the table, she waited for you to walk over to her to pass you the warm cup of coffee and a paper bag. Carefully hold the cup in one hand, you opened the bag to see a lone macaron sitting inside. A wide smile bloomed on your face when your body understood that the sweet treat was a form of energy for you to function and you eagerly pushed it up the bag to take the first bite. You then remembered the very person that delivered it to you and with your mouth full, you could only smile even wider to her as you closed your eyes in bliss as the sugary snack awoke your senses again.

“One date.”

Your eyes snap open as your jaw stopped its movement.

“One date. Just give me one date. I’ll show you I’m worth your time.”

Your smile slowly dropped as you processed what you just heard. Looking back down at the bag and the cup of drink, you recognized the name imprinted on its sides. It was from the very café you two went to on your first and last date. Forcing yourself to look busy by continuing to slowly chewing the one bite in your mouth, you subtly turned your head towards the mirror to look at the woman, not daring to risk eye contact by looking directly at her. Even from the mirror, you could see her intense gaze, as she fidgeted her hands behind her, anxiously waiting for your answer. 

“So? What do you say?”

Swallowing the now mushy mess in your mouth, you slowly looked right back at her. Lifting the drink to your lips and taking a small sip, you looked for traces of this encounter merely being a bad joke of the rejection you faced at her hand a few months ago. When you could find none, you slowly lowered the drink and sighed. Even at such mundane actions, you could see her tense up in anticipation.

You chuckle suddenly, breaking the silence and causing Hyejin to flinch. That in return made you chuckle even harder when her look of confusion and surprise slowly melt away as your laughter went on. Finally taking a breath to stop, you smiled and answered her.

“I was hoping it will be more than just one.”

3 months ago I rewatched ouat and when binge watching, yeah captain swan gets together fast. They met, were something like allies and then enemies again, and they pretty much don’t get more interactions until the very last episode of s2 and just for a handful of minutes (in s2 they were still a “crackship” not for me tho😂) Then neverland’s pinning from hook and Emma obviously didn’t think it was for real, cursed for a year, Emma not wanting to acknowledge that she was into Hook and the last 2 episodes of s3 are literally captain swan heaven ending with them getting together. Back then it felt like ages😂 but we knew they were gonna get together (for me s3 made it obvious) and they might have kissed only once but they had beautiful moments in between that were much more meaningful and the pinning… 😮‍💨👌

But when you think abt it, shows nowadays are not even capable of that because like you say, they only have 8-10 episodes. And like 90% of them release the whole season the same day, so no weekly episodes or season hiatus. Maybe the waiting between seasons is 1-2yrs long but honestly the excitement is not the same, everyone is hyping for like 2weeks and then it quiets till next season comes out. Kids are not even used to watching a show of more of 15 episodes a season, I’ve heard them say “nah, too many episodes” and honestly I’m horrified 😅

So while I love captain swan with my whole heart, they’re not slowburn, if they had extended s3 pinning for more seasons we might have exploded 😂 And since ouat didn’t have a ton of seasons, Im glad they got together when they did because that way we got to enjoy them as a couple for 3 seasons (I still wanted to see them with their baby/toddler for more than 5 secs tho😭)

For example Mulder/Scully are slowburn, specifically since they were supposed to be “just friends”. Jane and Lisbon got together after 6 seasons, Brennan and Boot too, so yeah for 2000’s-2010’s that was slow burn, now it doesn’t exist

The thing about OUAT too is it’s much more of an ensemble show than, like, Bones or Castle or X-Files, which gives OUAT less time to spend a ship like Captain Swan so they have to get together quicker than on a show like that if, like you said, they want any time at all to see them interacting as an actual couple. Now, I WISH OUAT was more of an emma swan character study than an ensemble piece but that’s another story LOL.

Anyway, I’m like you in that I shipped captain swan since early s2! That said though I STILL think they could’ve teased out the will-they-won’t-they vibes for, like, another season. They were uncertain allies/sort of enemies throughout s2 then they kiss just a few episodes into s3 and it’s really not long after THAT that they really get together. I just think they could’ve DANCED a little longer because the chase is fun :)

I really miss long tv seasons. 🥺 I miss knowing when OUAT would go into production and following the news throughout the year - I really think that’s the last show of its kind I really watched, everything else is pretty much short streaming seasons. The law and order franchise is still out there I guess… (and incidentally, rollins and Carisi on SVU are a GREAT will-they-won’t-they slow burn).

But yeah I get how the 20-25 episode season is a little too long for today’s audiences just because the face of tv has changed so much unfortunately. I advocate for compromising with 15-16 episode seasons like USA Network and TNT used to do. That leaves a chance to develop relationships over a long period of time while not dragging on too long for the tiktok teens….

Cary Grant, for example, was always quite funny, especially in his romantic roles, but also flawless in an almost artificial way from today’s perspective. I found that very suitable for a robot. You eventually gave up huffing and throwing yourself in the chair In front of the computer.

You opted to watch any video you could find on YouTube suddenly remembering a song your friend had told you to listen to. Shrugging your shoulders you decided to give it a chance because why not? Searching up the song called “Let’s love” and you recognized the person knowing he was the leader of a popular group and curiosity probed at you. The video loaded and you were immediately met with Suho’s handsome face and soothing vocals. You felt your mouth slowly open as you subconsciously leaned closer to the screen mesmerized by the man inhabiting it. Your head nodding along to the soft melody of the song.

“Wah, this song is so lovely and soothing, and he has such a calming voice. How can someone be so handsome yet so pretty. His face looks so serene he must be such a good leader”.

Youngbin has been reading the damned book on the bed behind you immediately looking up when he heard your words also recognizing his senior on the screen. “You can't kiss me until you tell me i’m more handsome than him because I’m your boyfriend and I should always be the handsomest to you. No? Fine you won’t even be getting a goodnight kiss today. I hope you’re happy with yourself y/n”

Youngbin would try to distract you when he saw you fangirling over someone else. Play fighting with you by avoiding your kisses and affections and acting like a child softly teasing you. Of course, he would eventually give in to you. Youngbin is not capable of saying no to you.

You and Inseong were on the couch with him drawing on the journal you had given to him claiming his drawing skills were getting too rusty. Meanwhile you were bored out of your mind having given up on asking your boyfriend to spend some time with you a long time ago. You had even put your feet on his lap, but he shoved them off to rest the journal there, and you had leaned against him, but he gently shook you off because he couldn't draw well with you leaning on his arm like that.

You switched between channels with disinterest trying to find something entertaining. That’s when you stopped at an episode of “Problematic Men'', the show only catching your attention because Inseong had been on it before. Boredom slowly changed into interest when your attention was constantly drawn to one of the guests and idol, Aron. You found his nervous smile cute and refreshing, and you were very impressed with his academic achievements. You kept making little noises of surprise the more you got to know him, and you couldn't stop yourself from going “aaw” at Aron’s quirky yet cute personality.

 “He’s so cute, look how his shoulders lift up as if trying to hide himself when he’s embarrassed. He’s so smart too and he got accepted into a famous university, but he still chose to do music. He’s so inspirational.”

Inseong had already noticed you looking at the idol with admiration, and he had to purse his lips to stop himself from saying anything. Shoving his face back into the journal trying and failing at trying to not get distracted by your sounds of awe at the artist. As soon as you said that, Inseong dropped his journal sputtering as his eyes flickered back and forth between you and the TV. He would tackle you ripping the remote from your hands and turning the television off. He clasped your hands in his pulling you so that the upper half of your body was on his lap. He leaned his head against yours, his wide eyes masked with seriousness holding contact with your own. He tickled you softly, smiling as your laughter rang around the room, not allowing you to move since he had trapped you against his own body. 

“Has my girlfriend really been stolen by a man she has never met? How unfortunate, I, a man who loves a woman who doesn't love him enough because said woman is currently drooling over another man while her loving boyfriend sits right next to her. Ah I can feel my heart breaking”.

At first, Inseong would be shocked at you fangirling over someone else. He wouldn't even be able to form words. Inseong is laid back and rolls with the punches most of the time, so he quickly adjusted to the situation joking around with you while having some kind of physical contact with you.

Jaeyoon

Idol: Jaehyun - Nct 127

You groaned walking into the living room where Jaeyoon was already sitting on the couch assorting a variety of snacks on the coffee table in front of the couch. As you walked into the room, Jaeyoon looked up to give you his bright dimpled smile. You couldn't help but smile back at him gently running your hands through your hair when you reached him while you flopped onto the couch. You guys decided to have a date at your apartment instead of going out.

Jaeyoon laid down on the couch placing his head on your lap while pulling your hands back to his hair. You got a blanket from the back of the couch placing it mostly over him not really needing it since his body warmth was enough to stop any shivers from racking through your body. You guys didn't really plan on watching something specific, so after some convincing from Jaeyoon himself, you settled on watching the latest episode of weekly idol which featured Nct 127. Throughout the duration of the episode your attention kept getting drawn to the dimpled vocalist. Jaehyun who was undoubtedly handsome, but rather than looking at his features you found yourself laughing at his antics. It was particularly after an innocent dimply smile was sent to the camera after having finished singing wonderfully that you squealed out.

“How can someone be so hot but so cute at the same time, and oh my- his dimples. He is so talented too! He sings, he raps, and he danced so well too. He’s a total package!”

Jaeyoon would feel his eyes narrow, tongue licking his plump lips getting ready to put you in your place. He stood up blocking your view of the tv meeting your confused gaze with a devilish smile. He pushed you back laying you on your back on the couch, and he straddled you pinning your hands above your head. You looked up at him with wide alarmed eyes, breath catching when you saw him eye the soft sliver of skin exposed by your shirt riding up when your arms were lifted. Jaeyoon would lean in his nose almost touching yours. 

“I don't think so love. Your heart belongs to me, and my heart belongs to you. Don't forget that. What are you doing looking at another man when I’m right here, your boyfriend, the tickle monster”

He would then stoop to blow a raspberry against your exposed skin laughing evilly when you shrieked and running away to your room. Jaeyoon would want to shock you a bit. Although it was all with a joking intention, there would be a small part of him that would feel slightly possessive.

Dawon

Idol: Jackson - Got7

You had accompanied Sanghyuk to a music show where Sf9 were going to perform since they had recently had a comeback. You were currently in the waiting room with various staff moving around in order to prepare the boys for the stage. You were sitting on the couch next to your boyfriend with your head leaning against his shoulder scrolling through Instagram since you got bored with Sanghyuk too excited about performing to really focus on anything you were saying. 

He was still very much aware of your presence. His arms fit snugly around your shoulder playing with your hair, and his eyes flicking to study you every so often smiling softly when he saw you laughing at a random post you had found. You perked up when one of your friends sent you a post only telling you about how hard she had laughed while watching it. Your interest peaked so you clicked on the post recognizing the loud and social rapper of Got7. You watched as the idol reacted dramatically at a situation sitting on a table to get everyone's attention only for the table to break and Jackson with the broken part of the table in his hands with a shocked expression on his face as he looked at it. You couldn't help but laugh loudly immediately, grabbing Sanghyuk’s attention.

“How can someone be so funny, dramatic, and cute all at the same time. He looks like such a warm and open person. He’s so talented too, he produces his own music. “

You had whispered these words hoping no one would hear them, but Sanghyuk had heard them loud and clear. His shocked face would instantly turn into a scandalized one as he looked at you with wide eyes and raised eyebrows. He snatched your phone from your hands sitting on it and leaning away from you while you stood still shocked at how fast everything happened. You would get control of your senses tackling him while demanding for your phone and repeatedly saying his name as you sat on him. Now that he had you where he wanted you, his arms would wrap around your waist pulling you down against him making you have to rest your forearms on either side of his head so you wouldn't crush him. You were sure everyone in the room could hear how fast your heart was beating.

“I’m  the only man you should be looking at, no matter what, I can make you laugh the hardest, I can make you smile the brightest and I can damn well make you scream the loudest, babe. Let’s see how funny Jackson is when you’re sleeping on the couch.”

Sanghyuk would feel so offended. Not seriously of course, but he would be one to bring it up the next few days and remind you of the crime you had committed. He really would make you sleep on the couch, but 30 would barely pass and he was coming to carry you back to bed because he worried your back would hurt.

Both you and Juho were very busy, but you guys could not spend another day without each other. It had been too long since you had seen each other, so you decided to spend a day with each other in his studio. Even if you were working on your own work and not really talking to each other, it was enough just being together. You two were working on similar things since both of you were producers, but you were each working on a different project.

The company you were working with wanted you to branch out and collaborate with artists other than the ones already in the company. Specifically, they wanted you to work with a rapper since the song was in the R&B genre. You had suggested your boyfriend immediately, but they refused, so you were now begrudgingly searching for a rapper that would want to work with you. In the end, your company had to search for artists that were willing to work with you since you had no connections outside your own company. You basically drooling over another idol was not something Juho expected when he took his headphones off to ask you whether you wanted to order take out now or later. Turning around in his chair he saw you staring at your laptop with your hands on your cheeks as if you couldn't believe what you were seeing. Juho felt his jaw tick as he leaned over you to shut your laptop so his form was towering over you since he was standing up while you were still sitting down. Your face was shocked and it remained shocked as Juho spun your chair around and picked you up throwing you over his shoulder. You were pretty sure if anyone touched your face they would draw their hand back because of how high your body temperature had risen. You began struggling questioning Juho on what he was doing before he made you settle with a light slap at your bum. He took you to the dorms where he threw you in the bed, and he looked at you with a pout and began whining as he dug his face into the crook of your neck nosing along on your pulse.

“If he’s such an amazing rapper why don't you go out with him. Don't look at me like that, you belong to me as much as I belong to you. First day we’re spending time together and you’re praising another man. Do I have to get an eyebrow piercing for you to look at me like that too?”

Juho is not having it. quickly talking you away from whatever has you fangirling over someone else. He would become whiny and passive aggressive with you definitely clingy for the rest of the day too. He would huff whenever you wanted to get away from him claiming that you had to pay for your crime by spending the day in his arms.

Rowoon

Idol: Mingyu - Seventeen

You were in the kitchen shoveling food into your mouth in alarming amounts as you scrolled through twitter on your phone. Rowoon was sitting in front of you also eating but having an important conversation with Youngbin. His eyes would shift over to you every few seconds softening at the way you seemed to enjoy his cooking. You had actually helped him with it even adding your own suggestion which ended up making it taste better than the result of the original recipe.

There were two reasons as to why you were eating so fast. One, the food was amazing, mostly because Rowoon had made it. Two, you and Rowoon were having your first date in weeks since you had both been busy and you couldn't stop the excitement from taking control over your body. You got distracted from thinking about the date, when your friend, a huge fan of the idol group Seventeen, sent you a post talking about how husband material one of the members was. You tapped on the link she had sent you watching as the tall man cleaned around the house and made food for the members your heart melting when you saw the bright smile on his face as he did everything. It was so domestic and sweet it make you coo at the screen.

“He really would be such a gentle and loving husband. He would be one to help you with house chores and oh my god he would be so loving and helpful with a baby. His food looks really good too”

Your earlier excitement would only fuel your admiration for the man on the screen, and it would also make you a bit louder than usual. The boys in front of you would halt in their conversation upon hearing what you said. Youngbin would grimace looking at Rowoon for his reaction, getting surprised when Rowoon slowly blinked at you. Rowoon knew exactly who had momentarily stolen his lover’s heart, but he knew one word from him and your heart would go back to where it belonged. In his hands. With a soft tone, Rowoon would call your name asking if you were ready to go on that date watching your eyes light up as you hurriedly went to wash your dishes. Rowoon smirked at Youngbin while grabbing your phone and slipping it into his pocket. The rest of the day, Rowoon upped his game practically running to open your door when getting off the car or placing his jacket on the ground for you to sit on when you wanted to sit on the grass at the park.

“You look gorgeous today just like any other day as always. Oh those cookies look good? Let's go get them. Are you cold? Take my jacket. Hold my hand so you don't get lost. It's crowded here.”

Any thought of any other man would simply slip from your mind with Rowoon around. He would ignore everything you said pretending he didn't notice and doing things that would honestly just make you forget about everyone else because his gestures were just too sweet.

Taeyang

Idol: San - Ateez

You were so concentrated on the screen in front of you not even the music blasting through the practice room speakers your boyfriend was dancing to could distract you. It was late, and you were both tired but you guys were determined. Recently, Taeyang had been trying to make his own choreographies, and he wanted you to help him which you happily agreed to since you were a backup dancer and had experience in that field. 

You guys had gotten stuck in one part of the choreography, and it was in the chorus so it was important. It would have been better to go home and sleep coming back tomorrow refreshed and reenergized, but you guys were set on getting it done today. While Taeyang danced to the choreography you had already made seeing if anything came up, you were on your stomach scrolling through YouTube on your laptop trying to see if anything inspired you. Your clothes were sticking to your skin and you could feel beads of sweat dripping down your scalp, but you persisted. It was when you found a video of Ateez on a music show that you perked up. Your eyes were drawn to one dimpled person in the front recognizing him because your sister always talked about him. Looking up more videos of him, and you felt your jaw drop as you squealed out.

“His stage presence is out of this world. He’s one of the fiercest dancers I've seen in a rookie group. His moves are sharp and fluid. Oh- he’s not even a part of the dance line yet he’s so talented”

You didn't even notice the music turn off, and you certainly didn't see Taeyang stop in his tracks and stare at you with an unreadable look in his eyes. You were so focused on the video, you didn't notice Taeyang’s eyes staring holes into you until the video ended. You looked up from your laptop in order to tell him about some new ideas you had just from watching a few videos of San dancing, and you were met with Taeyang crushing a water bottle in his hands while staring at you with an unamused look on his face. His stare was so intense you couldn't maintain eye contact as you called out his name with a questioning tone. He began walking towards you with slow calculated steps, and you stood up still not being able to hold his gaze. Taeyang tilted his head taking your chin in between his pointer finger and thumb forcing you to make eye contact.

“I’m telling you this once and only once angel, you are mine. My hands are the only hands that touch you, and my lips are the only lips that get to touch your skin. Don't forget it, love.”

Even Taeyang himself wouldn't recognize himself as he was speaking. He just knew he suddenly felt a fire at the pit of his stomach that seemingly boiled his blood. He wouldn't know how to deal with himself after, so he would give you a cheery smile asking sweetly if you had any ideas. Whiplash is real with this one.

Hwiyoung

You were sat in front of the Tv anxiously awaiting for the time to pass by as you turned your phone on and off to check said time. Hwiyoung was sitting on the couch behind you looking at you with a confused expression because you had refused to answer him when he asked what you were doing. Your Tv was already set on the YouTube homepage, and you bit your lip knee bouncing while you checked your phone for the millionth time.

Hwiyoung eyed the shirt you were wearing with a focused expression knowing the logo was familiar but not being able to name it. He jumped, scared at your shriek when you checked your phone because the time was finally here. Comeback time. You searched up “Stray Kids” and the music video came up making you shriek again. It suddenly dawned on Hwiyoung what was happening. You were getting excited at another group’s comeback. He saw how you looked at the screen with heart eyes, your smile big and bright occasionally stopping to let your lips part in a small “woah”. You were pretty calm until a certain someone showed up on the screen in which you shrieked again (Hwiyoung had lost count), and you clapped your hands satisfied.

“Oh wow look at his hair, it's purple and looks so good on him. I could listen to that voice every day and- are those his freckles? Oh look at him go, yes bubs, get those lines”

Hwiyoung would feel his heart sink, and he was scared. Scared because what he was feeling, he has never felt this feeling as strong as this. Insecurity. His eyes would look at you sadly watching as you beamed at the boy on the screen. He knew this was something he shouldn't be feeling insecure about, but he couldn't stop himself. He went to sulk in your bedroom flopping onto your bed and hugging your pillow. You didn’t notice him walking off. One the mv ended, you made little noises of happiness. You called your friend because she too was a huge fan of Stray Kids. She was also squealing to you about how good the MV was and how Changbin did well. You were walking around looking for your boyfriend to cuddle with and paused when you found him on your bed clutching your pillow with a frown on his face. You told your friend you had to go, and you fell onto the bed snuggling into Hwiyoung humming happily when he responded to your touch. You ran your fingers through his hair tenderly asking him what was wrong.

“It’s kinda stupid, but I got I felt bad seeing you smile at someone else the same way you smile only at me. I know I shouldn't feel this way, but I guess it took me by surprise” *nervous laugh*

You wouldn't fail to reassure him, taking off the Stray Kids merch in favor of one of his sweatshirts. Hwiyoung would be the one to get insecure when you fangirled over someone else, but it really wouldn't take that much to reassure and comfort him. He would be smiling and giggling in your arms in 5 minutes tops.

Chani

Idol: Dowoon - Day6

You were laying on your bed, arms starting to sting because of having to hold your phone in a weird position since you couldn't lower them. The reason being Chanhee passed out with his head on your chest. He was originally awake, but you running your hands through his hair seemed to have lulled him to sleep. You guys were supposed to go out on a date, but you weren't mad or annoyed at all deciding he was in dire need of a proper rest.

He had been so busy lately, and he had been working endlessly. You could feel your heart sink every time you saw him because his eye bags seemed to darken every time. You raised your phone a bit to glance at your boyfriend, heart softening at the sight of his cheek mushed up against your chest, and his face looking peaceful. You smiled softly nudging his cheek gently before going back to watching random videos on your phone. You jumped a little at the sound of a notification coming through your phone hurrying to lower the volume of your phone, so you wouldn't wake up the sleeping boy. Checking out the notification you saw it was an Instagram post from Day6. You wouldn't call yourself their biggest fan, but you did your best to actively follow them. It was a video of Dowoon getting teased by Jae, the younger boy giggling and firing back.

“Aw Dowoon really is just the cutest sometimes. Quiet but cute. Funny too. I wished they would let him sing a few lines. He’s been getting better with the vocal lessons he’s getting. He’s so much more than a drummer.”

Chanhee had actually been woken up by the notification sound earlier, but he thought you would have noticed he was awake. He was getting ready to whine and pull at your hand, so you could run it through his hair because Chanhee had sworn he’s never had such a good nap like the one he just had. Apparently, you were too distracted by a video on your phone calling someone else that wasn't him cute. Hah, the nerve you had. Chanhee really didn't like the feeling he got when you called someone that wasn't him cute. It didn't matter if it was a person on the other side of the screen or your own baby. He was the only one you were allowed to call cute, or anything else. He shifted to let you know he was awake. You instantly lowered your phone eyes lighting up when you saw that he was awake which made his heart flutter, but you still weren't off the hook. He saw the surprise in your eyes when he looked at you with an offended expression. His eyes were narrowed and eyebrows furrowed. He shifted so he was fully on top of you, still being careful as to not crush you. He shook his head letting his hair tickle the sensitive skin of your neck not stopping the squirming until you put your hands on him.

“I don't like it when you look at someone else the way you only look at me because that's the look meant for me. I’m the only you can call cute. Don't be mean and call someone else cute. I don't like it.”

Chanhee would be kind of surprised. He had never felt the need to be clingy or whiny like this. The grumpy expression on his face wouldn't leave even if you couldn't see it because his face was buried in the crook between your neck and shoulder. He would become happy again when you ran his hands through hair enough time to make him sleepy again enjoying the feeling of your body against his.

Loki Ep4 Spoilers (again)

TL;DR Mobius is a jealous loner desperate for a connection to heal his own broken self, but for all the crap he gives Loki about not being able to trust others and putting up walls, he's just as terrified of being known and then left behind.

Would just like to take note once again on Mobius refusing to listen to Loki, for once not being able to tell apart (on the surface) what are lies and what's the truth because Loki has done the impossible-- learned to love himself (kinda). For once, this is a part of Loki's life that Mobius doesn't get to witness, and it breaks him. He can't spend weeks analyzing each little tell, it's all right there in the moment. It's a different Loki than he's ever known. Before, in ep1, Mobius knew exactly what to say to get answers out of Loki-- he's studied this. But now? Now Loki is a regular, real person (in a sense... TVA is kinda weird in their "is this technically a part of reality") that went through another traumatic event without Mobius watching alongside. He's scared and doesn't trust himself. He's jumping to conclusions, he's pushing down all his typical questions, coming off harsher, less patience.

And then when he realizes that Loki has learned to care for/love Sylvie (in whatever way that is, this Loki has never truly loved anyone before-- always holding back in fear), it throws out everything he's ever known about Loki out the window. He is changing, not just into someone the TVA can use, but rather into a person of his own. And Mobius doesn't know how to process that immediately, instead resorting to trying to embarrass Loki about his "crush" on Sylvie, lashing out on idea of them forming a romantic relationship because Loki couldn't even form a proper friendship with him (in his mind, especially after Loki leaves the Supermarket with Sylvie in ep2).

He's getting jealous, defensive, angry. The only other time we've seen him remotely this "not-calm" was earlier in ep2 when Hunter B-15 instructs Loki to come with her instead. (my god, he really is just so jealous) (to be fair, though, his closest friend is a lying back-stabber who gives the order to prune him, so... not like this version of Mobius is really in the healthiest environment to begin with...)

And the fact that he just won't let go with that, freaking "I don't need you anymore... or as you might say, 'our interests are no longer aligned.'" Like, I'm sorry but that is a sure petty jab at Loki for choosing Sylvie and this "variant life" over staying and helping him at the TVA (as he's still refusing to believe that they are all variants like Loki/Sylvie say). Especially adding "Yeah, I guess you don't do partners. Unless, of course, it benefits you and you intend to betray them at some point," and "Why? Cause I lied about your 'girlfriend'?"

LIKE SIR. IM TRYING TO MAKE THIS A SERIOUS POST AND IM CRYING WHILE WATCHING BUT I JUST KEEP LAUGHING AT HIS RESPONSES BECAUSE THEY'RE KILLING ME JUST HOW HURT HE IS BECAUSE LOKI FINALLY LEARNED TO LOVE SOMEONE AND HE WASN'T A PART OF IT. BECAUSE LOKI LEFT HIM IN ORDER TO BE "HAPPY", THIS WHOLE JOURNEY FOR MOBIUS-- PROBABLLY HIS BIGGEST CASE --JUST BURNT OUT, ENDING LIKE THAT. ALL HOPES OF "SAVING THE BROKEN THINGS", THAT "SCARED LITTLE BOY SHIVERING IN THE COLD" GONE BECAUSE HE NEVER REALLY NEEDED MOBIUS. BECAUSE LOKI (EVEN SYLVIE) COULD BE HAPPY ON THEIR OWN. THEY DIDN'T NEED TO BE THE VILLAIN, TO CAUSE PAIN AND DESTRUCTION AND DEATH. THEY COULD MAKE THEIR OWN LIVES.

And if they could do that... then how good is the TVA, truly?

So instead, he has to twist this, find some way to be repulsed by Loki's development-- "this kind of sick, twisted romantic relationship" because how dare Mobius, even for a second, think that maybe there is more to this relationship between Loki and Sylvie than an "incredible seismic narcissist" only ever being able to fall in love with himself? To look in the reflection and see beauty-- not in the dagger and what it's bond, it's craft, it's story means, but rather in the image mirrored back through that love. The person loving, not the existence of love itself. That's why it stabs you in the back, that's why the metaphor failed, because at the time, Loki didn't understand real love, romantic, familial, platonic, or self. He cared for his mother, but he failed her-- he lost her. He always pushed her away enough to keep himself safe, never truly feeling it all. But with Sylvie? it's different. Sylvie understands him. Sylvie, in some ways, is him. Of course he has to learn to love her, to appreciate all she has accomplished despite her struggles. He has to love her so that he can understand that he, too, deserves love. If Sylvie, with the same childhood and parents as him, with trauma and blood on her hands like him, that same desperate attempt to be alone in order to save themselves from being abandoned... if he knows she is worthy of love and happiness, then why can't he be as well? Why does he always have to be alone?

And then when Mobius tells him that Sylvie's been pruned, it destroys him-- he's alone again. Because he can never return to his timeline, never have that Ragnarok bond with his brother, be a true Odinson, avenge his mother. Sylvie is dead-- the one person that could possibly love him because she was him and he's a narcissist (in his own words). Mobius no longer believes him, can no longer see through the lies, too blinded by his own rage and fear and pain. Loki, once again, has no one (the fact that you can pinpoint the exact moment he realizes all this too, ep4 23:06, while Mobius continues to brush his warnings aside and rant on Loki and Sylvie).

"Well, I'm gonna have to close this case now, 'cause I don't need you anymore."

And so, he takes one last jab at Mobius--

"Out of all the liars in this place, and there are a great many, you are the biggest."

M: "Why? 'Cause I lied about your girlfriend?" Because I told you she was dead, because you were terrified, because you don't know how to go on without her?

L: "Oh, no. That I can respect." Ofc you would, that's your job, get information out of me. Manipulate me into thinking I can trust you because you don't trust me enough to let me tell you on my own. Because everything I do is out of my own interest. Of course you would lie about that, so would I. "I mean the lies you tell yourself."

You refuse to believe me now, to think that I could care for you as well, that I am capable of more than loving myself or a version of me. That maybe, for once, I'm not just trying to look out for myself. That maybe knowing that you're trapped here after believing you actually had free will, to learn that no one in this universe-- this sick, twisted timeline --actually has free will. Please believe me, please let me help. I didn't give up on Sylvie, I won't give up on you if you just give me time.

Okay, when you were describing all of the things that you would want in the relationship, I thought of San due to how clingy and affectionate he is with the other members of ATEEZ. He is a Cancer, which is good because that is one of the star signs that are compatible with yours. I don't believe that the age difference of four years would be that much of an issue, especially since San acts younger than he is most of the time anyway. I feel like most men are intimidated when their female significant other is tall themselves, but he is tall himself and I feel like the fact that you are taller is kind of one of his favorite things about you? One of his other favorite things about you are your curves, he always puts his hand on your thighs during movie night at the boys' dorm or in the back pocket of your jeans when you two are walking into KQ Entertainment together. When you wear dresses when all of you go out to fancy dinners together, he has to hold himself back because he ADORES you when you wear dresses! You said you're am ambivert, I feel like he relates to that in some form of way, like I feel like there are certain situations where he feels a bit more introverted about. Sometimes Hongjoong has to scold him because he texts you so much, but he can't stay mad at you when you pop into the building with their favorite Starbucks drinks and hand-made lunch boxes for them. Just as you always support his creative endeavors, he always returns it for you tenfold and when you are talking about issues you care deeply about, he gives you his full attention and stares at you lovingly. Not just San, but all of the boys, come to you whenever they are dealing with stress and they just want someone to talk to because you are so amazing at giving advice and supporting them. There was a time when a sasaeng approached you, San, Wooyoung and Jongho when you were doing some late night grocery shopping when another ATINY stopped her, causing an argument and nasty words to be exchanged. Let's just say, you shut that sasaeng down REAL quick when you heard some of the things she said. One day you woke up and found a present that San made for you, a mixtape of all of your favorite songs from all your favorite genres of music, along with a little keychain that had tokens of all of the states you had visited. He wholeheartedly loves you and he makes every effort to support all of your dreams. When he has days off from work, the two of you make a blanket fort in your living room and watch old episodes of Forensic Files and Law & Order: SVU, whilst surrounded by fluffy blankets and a couple of his favorite plushies. His life an idol doesn't afford him much down time, unfortunately, but he always makes time for you and you always have the craziest adventures with not only each other, but all of the other boys as well. Squishy San will want all of the cuddles, have you SEEN how affectionate he is with the other members?! Also, him in all black outfits.... YES, PLEASE AND THANK YOU. One day he was visiting your apartment and he surprised you with matching beaded pearl bracelets and he never takes it off, not even for performances. The boys don't really think nothing of walking into the bathroom to brush their teeth whilst one of the others is showering, that just comes with their busy schedules and their dorm life. Let's just say this: Mingi wasn't able to look you in the eyes for two weeks because he did just that, not realize that you had snuck in and stayed the night, and were currently going to the bathroom whilst San was in the shower. Your camera roll is not only filled with silly pictures of San that you've captured, but of the most magazine worthy, model pictures you have ever been lucky enough to take. He accepts you for all of your flaws, and helps you to try to work on them, however that may be and you do the same for him.

In summary: You both are simps for each other and I AM HERE FOR IT.

In BTS, I ship you with Namjoon!

Another tall boy for you, I got you! You both are Virgos, but I looked it up worried that two Virgos would clash, and it said that they would be very intuitive with each other and would understand each other! The age gap is quite large, I don't know how okay you are with that? I know everyone has different preferences. He approached you first when he saw you at the mom & pop coffee shop/cafe around the corner from your apartment, and he thought you were the most beautiful person he had ever seen. Another man who I don't think would be bothered by your curves (men can be shallow dicks), I think that is his favorite thing (same as San) about you. Not even in a sexual way, I feel like his hands would always end up on your butt without him even noticing. Most of the time, one of the other boys will point it out when all of you are hanging out together, and he will be proud that he has a significant other like you, but he almost might become a shy mess about it I feel like. I feel like he can get jealous, just because you are closest to Jungkook in the group and you often pull pranks on the other members together. There is never a shortage of laughs when all of you are together, pure crackhead energy if I've ever seen it, just non stop jokes and banter between all of you. You were able to get time off from work and were actually able to join them (their managers were surprisingly chill about you tagging along? CONFUSION?) on their tour around Europe and you had so many memories. J: I see.

K: We're right back to the occult now, aren't we?

J: Yeh, this is almost like a Tokyo Sports kind of issue.

Kami: No, you mustn't doubt the existence of god!

J: Oh, you musn't?

Kami: You mustn't! If you do, and you watch this movie, you will die.

J: We'll die?

T: Scary!

K: I wonder if we'll really die?

Kami: So believe in god!

K: Oh, if you believe in god, you won't die if you watch this movie?

Kami: Yeh, you can increase your shrine donation or something..

J: It ends up with money again *K laughs* He always ends up talking about money.

T: Whats up with him? *K laughing*

J: He doesn't have anything nice to say. Its always down to money in the end. With Ghosn he was the same.

T: He was, yeh *laughing*

Kami: Thats right

im trying to read through tae kim’s grammar guide right now because i’m officially further in the nukemarine LLJ  memrise decks (there’s tae kim grammar guide sections in there) than i am in actually reading the grammar guide. And obviously these example sentences in the memrise deck would teach me more if i CLEARLY understood why they’re like how they are. which i... need to read the grammar guide section to understand lol.

my goal rn with japanese is? to get further in the nukemarine LLJ decks than i did last time. I’ve already mildly accomplished that (have done officially MORE of the tae kim section than before, have NOT redone the 190 common words i did last time i did this though). there are about 400 more cards in this tae kim section (LLJ 4) and then 1000ish cards in the common word section (LLJ 5). I would love to get them done. 

it would be sweet if i could get them done before April 22?/24? whenever Nier Replicant comes out because then I could play that baby in english and japanese! Then Nier Automata! ToT The Entire thing that kicked me back into wanting to study japanese was my old love for certain video games and desperately wanting to know what their stories/characters are like before translation/localization. So it would be cool if I could play them a little ;-; or at least check out lets plays. 

(which, checking out the kh2 lets play has been going pretty well so far... also that part where namine says “we aren’t meant to exist” and roxas says “how could you say such a thing? even if it were true” he says in japanese like “thats brutal/harsh to say. even if its true.” ...great to know that line is equally raw and heartbreaking in japanese lol. KH2′s localization did real good on like equal vibe to original just like ‘less nuanced’ if that makes sense. also thanks to the chinese hanzi i know now watching the KH2 lets play means i can figure out a lot of noun’s writing even though i don’t catch the pronunciation... also i’m catching a lot of words that mean like ‘beautiful/good’ as in like ‘great move’ and ‘dang’ lol.)

i had to stop myself from redoing the chinese flashcards i’ve done in the past! because i get ‘into a zone’ lol. And i really don’t need to waste time redoing those 2000 cards. i also needed to stop myself from doing the hsk 5-6 cards. because realistically? i know half of them, i should just set a lot to ‘ignore’ on the computer but im too lazy, and i’m learning a lot of vocab from reading right now. i don’t need hsk words to pass any test. The words i’m learning right now in reading are a lot more applicable to the actual shows i watch/things i listen to/things i read. its more useful to me to keep reading. and also to not sidetrack my japanese lol. i have read... 39 chapters this month... this month is only half over! hanshe is truly motivating ToT it also helps the story CONSTANTLY ends on cliffhangers so i keep clicking next chapter. who knows, maybe hanshe will help me kick up my reading speed. it already shaved off 10 minutes per 20 pages - now my 20 pages are down to 30 minutes to read, which is better than a few months ago. hanshe has 155 chapters so i HOPE it speeds up my reading lol.

hanshe is increasing my vocab though, its definitely noticeable over time. and hanshe has really good repetition of vocab which helps with learning and later the payoff means i never have to look up the word in future once its learned while it remains useful to me and i keep being reminded of it. after i get bored of hanshe OR i finish it, whichever comes first, its either back to a priest novel or into another pingxie fanfic written by hanshe’s author. The author did one fanfic that’s only 33 chapters so that would be NICE to do after this one lol ToT

summary of what’s turned out to be my studying methods this month:

Japanese:

reading through grammar guides (the one yue-muffin made and tae kim’s). so just grammar explanation reading.

doing nukemarine LLJ decks (in the ACTUAL order they are in the deck to completion - last time i did like 3 per time and never finished any lol. this is bolded because it’s the primary activity i’m prioritizing). so SRS flashcards. it’s working well right now because i can just put this activity in anytime i have downtime, like when i pause shows (since we know me i gotta take a break from a show every 20 minutes lol). i am bafflingly in a flashcard mood and i’m trying to take advantage of it while i got it. 

*when i feel like it: watching kh2 lets play. so some immersion where i look up words. (and when Nier Replicant remaster releases next month I’m likely to at least a tiny bit try to play it in japanese ToT lol we’ll see)

so grammar reading, srs flashcards covering some grammar/listening/reading/vocab, and some optional immersion.

(a note: i gave up on the japaneseaudiolessons for now because i got bored. its a great resource! i just don’t feel like it right now. and from an efficiency perspective, nukemarine LLJ decks cover vocab, grammar, audio, reading - so I don’t need another resource for that right now).

Chinese:

reading through hanshe. so immersion reading, intensive reading looking up unknown words. (unknown words are happening less so its getting less ‘intense’ lol)

listening to Chinese Spoonfed Audio. so listening to audio flashcards. for building up listening comprehension/repetition to pick up some more common words. (i’ve been doing this during daily walks making it much easier for me to consistently do, doing it mainly to supplement the Reading Heavy study i’m doing, i can drop this and pick it up later if i want since its mostly easy background listening)

*I am slowly rereading the grammar guide on www.chinese-grammar.com for explicit grammar clarification. but this is not a high priority, since I sort of implicitly understand a lot of this and i’m not working on fixing production mistakes yet. i just... miss knowing wtf is going on in the grammar lol.

*when i feel like it: Listening Reading The Glass Maiden/Love and Redemption Novel. I’ve done 2-3 hours of it this past week, but i don’t know when or if I’ll just stop. Thankfully l-r is beneficial somewhat even if i switch up books later. i WANT to L-R you have no idea (to Silent Reading and Guardian REALLY badly lol). But its so time intensive, and requires a lot of focus, and i have to really plan to do it for an hour at a time usually. I am so bad at doing stuff for that long consistently. I was in the mood earlier this week! ToT 

*when i feel like it: watching chinese shows raw. I was super in the mood this month because Word of Honor came out, and Killer and Healer came out, and Rattan came out, and I didn’t want to wait for subs. As a result I watched a LOT of raw episodes this month. However, english subs have caught up and since I’m lazy I’m inclined to just watch the subs - especially since youku ITSELF just put english subs on their most-ahead viewing schedule version of the eps on youku vip. so guess who’s buying youuku vip today? -3-)/ That said... even if I stop for a while, if Rattan subs move too slow I’ll probably watch those raw. And as SOON as 2ha’s drama Immortality drops I am highly likely to watch the raws for that since I likely won’t be able to wait. Watching shows is pretty highly dependent on how much I want to watch something and if subs take a while lol. 

so reading, and listening. and a little listening-reading method too. mainly just working on reading, listening, vocab acquisition. chinese is going good - for a few months now i’ve just had the plan ‘read often while looking up unknown words, and add some listening study activity when i have time.’ It’s simple, and its been working well.  later on down the road i’ll need some explicit grammar clarification again, but this is bare bones enough of a study plan at the moment. i’m clearly picking up words and phrases and hanzi at a reasonable pace. its not the Fastest obviously, but it is causing improvement over time and since i’m enjoying it i see no reason to change it up.

...who knows WHY i am so well focused this month with so much energy... tbh... i track how many chapters i read a month/audio i listen to/show episodes i watch etc, and this month is like as much as 3 other of my usual months combined. also my japanese has been basically ‘dabbling only’ prior to this month.

 although... maybe in part its how i’ve gotten better at reading hanshe? Reading being easier certainly motivates me TO read more. And watching shows was MUCH easier this month (still not ‘easy’ but following the main plot is) which definitely makes me Want to watch more. Also i am... unbelievably motivated by a challenge. I think i got it in my head that i ‘really want to do more of Nukemarine’s LLJ courses and see how much i understand after them’ and now... i really want them DONE. so maybe the current things motivating me will hold out for a while. 

(On the listening-reading front meanwhile, that activity takes SO much concentration its hard to do if i’m tired, BUT i have so many TRANSLATED novels i want to read recently and honestly its fun hearing the chinese narration and audiobook actors so like... i very much Want to do l-r so i can hear them as i read the translation... immovable object of me tired versus how much i’m interested in them lol ToT).
