THIS IS WHAT SHAKESPEARE WOULDVE WANTED#also shakespeare adaptations that take themselves too seriously are no fun#okay so my explanation is that I was listening to cell block tango and that other nghung piece had 'divorcee swirling red wine glass' energy#also the concept of someone giving Macbeth a gay onceover was funny as hell in my minds eye#(to clarify- nghung is talking about makbak's inability to commit to murder and stuff#idk what I intended for bull demon go nuts with that)

What nickname would you give a Chinese version of Macbeth to avoid bad luck? I imagine still referring to it as the Scottish Play would be a bit weird?
Oh hmmmm... I think I’m pretty set on this version happening in the Nanbei Dynasty so maybe something incorporating that? “The Nanbei Play” flows a bit weirdly so hmm... “The Nanbei Tragedy”?
