Not to be controversial on main, but I really hate posts about 'unshippable' muses and roleplaying anything other than romance, and that comes from a place of seeing those posts all the time; often to the detriment and shame of people who may only roleplay for romance and/or smut. From personal experience, more often than not, it creates an atmosphere where people become too frightened to approach people about potential ships and end up being weird about it ooc. Just state your boundaries on the tin rather than making vague illusions to it in your reblogs. I'm someone who fucking loves ships; I have a deep, vested interest in them. I also love platonic ships. I really hate the weird puritanical nonsense of 'uwu, i am above base shipping!' yeah ok shut up.

So I’m back on tumblr and writing again (big fucking yay) so it makes sense to use this blog as it’s more established and I see far more posts that tick my boxes but I really like the theme of my other blog… do I keep what I have or bring it over here?

ooc. i love leanne so much she is literally my 'first' muse to write ever. themes like nature vs nurture, good vs evil, kindness vs cruelty of course all in the name of better future for humanity makes me go aaaa. she took reins of her own life and choices and decided if she is going to die then she will die on her own terms; hence jumping of the clock tower to end it before the cruel experiment outcome get to her. the moment she was freed of lies and coddling and now she can he own self, her own master not a puppet in an experiment. she was given a new chance when zephyr saw her and saved her. its like reward that she took that leap and now she gets to enjoy life again with people who cherishes her, truly. no matter how life beaten her, she remained hopeful and kind. sweet home is her new home and she would do anything to keep it safe. vash and zephyr's worries and troubles are hers, too. isn't this what a family does?

Thinking back on Madoka Magica, I was around the age of the main characters when I first watched it. I mean, I thought a lot that went on was frightening, sad, full of wonder, all the feels. But at the end of the day, I didn't think too much on a lot of the details (at least in this context).

But now that I'm an adult with my school days behind me? I just realized that all the horrible things that happen to the girls were happening to who are effectively children. When Mami lost her head or when Sayaka went mad, that was happening to who I now think of young girls that didn't know any better until it was far too late to turn back.

I first thought of characters like Homura and Mami as pretty cool, if pretty sad overall when I was their age. Now? I just want to give them a hug.

so many projects in my head both personal and academic that i have to establish a new project to think about to retain sanity — all very complex, but this particular project is not burdened by “being good”. i was thinking about she’s the man (2006) and how we really need to return to the classics retold as teen comedies era, and SPECIFICALLY how a teen retelling of twelfth night now could do a lot of stuff shes the man couldnt really do. and also how silly it is to try to translate the specific type of class drama present in twelfth night to a high school setting. so im doing that now & trust i will be posting about it once i figure out my angle. thank you all
