It's about demons, yes... But also mermaids, curses, murder, and love... The sweetest mermaid in the world gets magically stuck with an asshole demon warlord.

Thrust into a world of crime, murder, lies, and secrets, Luciel is completely out of their depth... And cursed to live in the ocean for the rest of his life, Zagan is a fish out of water.

Zagan is trying to solve the mystery of his own murder, while also navigating trying to cure his new curse AND gathering souls so he doesn't get sent back to hell. While Luciel is happy to tag along, Zagan is new to cooperation and is forced to adapt... And Luciel soon discovers there might have been a BIT more danger than they signed up for.

It follows the two of them as they solve a mystery, uncover new secrets, and navigate the dangers of the world while also discovering its many wonders!

And also maybe falling in love...

this is just so incredibly funny to me. is he "happy" to see mitch and auston on different lines....... who the hell would ask that fkjdslkf.... like he wants to win games, and he's doing the exact same thing sheldon keefe always did too in terms of blendering lines a bit when the lineup's a mess anyway. it's so fucking silly to me, where else would this be a narrative that you're clamoring to split up your two best players and find so much glee when it happensfjkdls..... do the people of edmonton cry all the time when mcdavid and draisaitl take shifts together...... are fits being thrown when the avs lineup is mackinnon-rantanen as a first line bc how dare they not 'drive their own line' or 'spread out the offense'. like it's just such a fake ass narrative to act like they've never played apart or can't or that this team loses more when they're together and we're winning bc they're not bc all of those are just factually incorrect. maybe coaches ultimately always come back to them for a reason :)

A lot of fandom takes that brush by me are insane to me idk what it is. But the "He's totally evil" about Kabru, like. He's just some guy with a savior complex. Who has problems. He's fine.

And by this I mean, from the get-go it was clear to me that he wasn't really a threat to the main party? He's just another guy in another party. Who very clearly has Something going on, but to me, it seemed he had good intentions and strong convictions. Again he just has a complex and problems about it. Which is fine 👍 (<- kicking my feet batting my eyes I'm soooo normal. About that and all his other tendencies and traits)

Since I found out steam does a year in review (I had no idea until this year) I have decided that I must play video games more and play every game in my steam library so that my year in review is 100% accurate next year and I don't get told that my top 2 games were Disco Elysium and Baldur's Gate 3 because I would Hyperfixate on one game for a whole month (or three) and play nothing else, and still have my genre graph have nothing to do with those two top games and instead have "cats" as a genre while calling me a fag

gonna be honest, while she is a wonderfully played character, i do not like karna as a person at all lol. usually i love morally grey characters but i think im too attached to amangeaux to appreciate karna's character. like the scene where amangeaux had to beg karna on her knees just to be able to flee for her life with her child made my skin crawl and was probably the final nail in the coffin for me

and that on top of karna without remorse offering up amangeaux's child's life, which she didn't even have conformation was the heir to vegetania, and then her speech of getting 'drops of recognition' from amangeaux for 'her own protection and happiness' i had no sympathy for her after everything she did. it felt like she was getting mad at a woman she was trying to take advantage of who decided to prioritize herself and her year old child, who karna just agreed to kill

like yes, theres the political standing difference between them, but by that time amangeaux had no political safety and was discarded by her allies, and only a few hours ago in the game's universe was it proven by their own actions how even with supposed political advantage means nothing anything anyway and just

her careless 'im damned to rot so i have no care what suffering i put people through to get to my goal' just rubs me the wrong way along with everything else

this is no hate towards aabria, she's playing the character wonderfully and every move she makes makes sense for the character she has made, it's just karna makes me so inherently uncomfortable
