If we made a team of every character Steve Gerber wrote for, we'd have one hell of a Defenders or Howard the Duck issue. I can see it now, honestly. But first, I'll list the many characters Steve Gerber wrote for at least more than once:
Steve Gerber wrote (according to his wikipedia page) Daredevil, Shanna the She-Devil, Captain America, Man-Thing, Morbius, The Defenders (Doctor Strange, The Hulk, Valkyrie, Nighthawk, Namor, Red Guardian and sometimes Luke Cage), The Living Mummy, She-Hulk, Daimon Hellstrom (Son of Satan), Howard the Duck, Hawkeye, the original Guardians of the Galaxy and Omega, the unknown.
That's a lot of weird characters who have no business being together, but I would read a giant comic featuring all of them. I think it would be the weirdest thing, and yet also somehow the coolest thing ever. I mean...Morbius, Howard the Duck, The Defenders and Man-Thing? That's already a recipe for insanity and chaos. And if we're including characters like the rock band KISS (whom he wrote a few comics about), then everything can get even weirder.

How did I just learn now that the Brendan Fraser Mummy coaster that replaced Universal's King Kong ride years ago have a gift shop tribute take the form of a secret "Carl Denham, after having exploited King Kong, has decided to exploit Imhotep next as the Ninth Wonder of the World" backstory for said ride.

Friends of the Show- The Bronze Age of Horror Comics! Supernatural Thrillers 14 and 15, 1975 w/Ed Moore (Teal Productions)!
Tumblr media
Hey all you wrappers out there! No, not Snoop or Dre, I mean bandaged up wrappers! Ed and I have reached our final destination, and no, there isn't a log truck next to us that going to send us to meet our maker, we're going to finish off the last two issues of the Living Mummy! It's been a fun ride, and we've had a blast, and that continues in this episode. Will Dr. Skarab, The Mummy, Zephyr and crew be able to stop the Elementals from taking over the world? Plus, we get to see the complete origin of N'Kantu! I do make an announcement at the end of the show, so listen in!

As usual, if you want to leave any feedback for the show, you can do so through email at [email protected] or to me on Twitter @Billyd_licious or on the show's FB or Tumblr pages (just search Magazines and Monsters). You can find Ed on Twitter @tealproductions and FB as well! Definitely check out his podcasts that are available on any podcast app (Lords of Order, Ronin Rabbit, Newsprint Commando, Mighty Thorcast, and he cohosts the Superman Super Show, and Boom! Addiction). Thanks for listening!
