I hadn't realized how long it had been since I read The Little Trashmaid. I had a lot to catch up on since the last time I read it, and shocker, it did not disappoint. It's always sorta bittersweet reading each episode, because they're hilarious, but all of the comedy hinges on the reality of the oceans being polluted seemingly beyond repair.

That said, the most recent episodes give me hope and that counts for more than the creators could ever know ( ´ ▽ ` ).｡ｏ♡

it feels good to finally get this off my chest.

one thing i find annoying is whenever i try to look up the little trashmaid on youtube. more often than not, i see reuploads of the comic episodes. no edits, barely any speedpaints, not even a vine compilation or fan animation from someone young and aspiring. just reuploaded episodes with the same "blurred current panel" background, same title in the spongebob font, and the same "life goes on" by oliver tree being played. it annoys me. heck, it pisses me off.

i personally classify this as piracy. let it be known that piracy is only morally correct when it comes to corrupt and major-name conglomerates and in the name preservation. the unofficial episode reuploads on youtube? that's not preservation. that's just being a dick.

against everything else, this is tyranny, and it has to stop.

i would've drawn a police officer tidy arresting a fake tidy, but i didn't think to do that while working on... y'know, the video. so... take this meme instead and be sure to take down fake uploads that aren't from s0s2 or whatever has to be done k thanks

Oh hey, I used to post my cosplays on here...I should do that again.

Wondercon 2024! I FINALLY got to make and debut Tidy from the Webtoons comic The Little Trashmaid by s0s2. I love the character, love the story, and when I found a knitted mermaid tail blanket at the thrift store last year I knew it was time!

I cannot wait to get to wear her again! (Though hopefully at a more warm convention. Even with the blanket tail that's not a warm cosplay!)
