This Rick Perry documentary could've been an hour longer. I loved watching Rick talk about art and creativity and the people with whom he gets to work. It's also heartening to see that every type of art kid from high school is employed in his shop. The community Dropout, D20 and Rick have built and the show they create are spectacular. I love seeing all the artists and I really appreciate how inclusive Dropout continues to be. Also his home is lovely.

I haven't done any posting on social media almost all year and so the fact that I went and hunted down my Tumblr login should tell you just how THRILLED and GRATEFUL I was to cover the making of Dimension 20 for work. All it took was explaining to The Bosses™ that Actual Plays are not things where viewers... actually play... that was a new one. 😅

That Rick Perry documentary got me all emotional. He's the sweetest, most talented man and him and the incredible team of creatives he's working with deserve all the praise and appreciation.

OKAY!

So I've been in feral goblin mode, watching and rewatching the FHJY trailer, wringing out every drop of serotonin, and I've figured out something!

I've broken down all the intrepid hero's outfits from the trailer and have figured out that there is either a minimum of 6 episodes OR a maximum of 9 episodes in the trailer

MEANING! We are missing either 14 or 11 episodes from the trailer 👀

My argument is further strengthened after watching 'The Legendary Rick Perry' Documentary (Which IMO could have been its own series, and I still wouldn't be satisfied), but TO MY SUPRISE, a snippet from FHJY with outfits we DON'T SEE in the trailer!

ie.

For all the OG D20 fans, I know it's obvious that we wouldn't see clips from all 20 episodes. I just can't help but imagine all the other chaos in store in those 14 or 11 episodes when we're already collectively screaming at what's just in the trailer.
