I keep seeing people redraw this screen shot as Megatron tilting Starscream's face up, and I'm always like. This is from Quest for Survival. Megatron is choking and berating him. I realize what it looks like, but that's not what's happening.
On the other hand, no one ever mentions this moment from The Insecticon Syndrome, which happens right after the Seekers are freed from Bombshell's control:

Around March I got the urge to watch G1, so I opened Youtube and started the episodes in the order in which they were listed on the official Hasbro channel.
Turns out that is not a good idea.
I figured it out around the middle of season 1 and went searching on the internet to find if someone had any idea why is that.
After a while I found a forum of people talking about how they made their own order of the episodes. After a bit of scrolling I found God.
pitt55 shared his entire reconfiguration of all the 98 episodes on the forum. You'll find his reply if you scroll down just a bit.
I used his guide and didn't have a single problem from then on, and I did make a copy of it and pasted it in my notes for easier access so I'm putting it here for anyone who wants to watch G1 and is/was as confused as me.

Note
Out of the pre-Movie G1 Autobots who appeared on Earth out of nowhere, Beachcomber, Grapple*, Hoist, Red Alert, Smokescreen, Tracks, Blaster, Perceptor, Seaspray, and Warpath all debuted in the "Dinobot Island" two-parter. I'm assuming they all came there together on the same ship.
Hot Spot, Blades, First Aid, Groove, and Streetwise presumably also all came together between episodes because they're a combiner team.
Of course, that's not all the out-of-nowhere Autobots.
Cosmos debuted in "Megatron's Master Plan", but that was after "Dinobot Island" (... several episodes later...) so he could perhaps have been on the same ship with the bots who debuted in "Dinobot Island" and been sent to the orbit right after landing). Or maybe they have a backstory like Marvel G1's Cybertron Seven; that group was comprised of Perceptor, Blaster, Beachcomber, Cosmos, Powerglide, Seaspray, and Warpath (and Borebit, Corkscrew, and Scrounge, who died on Cybertron).
But cartoon Powerglide debuted long before the others who were in the Cybertron Seven ("A Prime Problem"). Plus the Cybertron Seven story would leave out the rest of the "Dinobot Island" characters (Grapple*, Hoist, Red Alert, Smokescreen, Tracks).
Inferno could have come to Earth with Omega Supreme, sinc etheir first appearances are in successive episodes ("The Insecticon Syndrome" and "The Secret Of Omega Supreme")
Like Powerglide's, Skids' first appearance is pretty isolated from any other character's ("Quest For Survival").
So there has to have been at least five Autobot groups/lone individuals to arrive on Earth after the Ark's crash.
(* Except maybe Grapple, if we pretend it was him who cameoed as Ark's crewmember in episode 1 and not "Hauler" who literally isn't anywhere else besides those two seconds).
Thoughts?
You're right considering how many up and just
Appear
It probably makes sense that Beachcomber's group came in on their own ship
Also makes sense some would come with Omega Supreme
Plus who knows how many of them could've been made/built off screen considering how sparks aren't a thing in g1, and we know they can just. Built bots.

Some of my many Transformers pieces I made in Photoshop.
1: The Ultimate Doom poster (Mission to Cybertron style)
2: “You have had the only warning I intend to give.” (From The Ultimate Doom Part 2)
3: Optimus vs. Megatron G2
4 and 5: “(Optimus) Well Megatron, are you with us, or not?
(Megatron) Anything to destroy those revolting, robotic roaches!” (From The Insecticon Syndrome)
6: “Interesting choice of weapons, Optimus. But futile!” (From Fire in the Sky)
ROLL OUT!!!

Episode Review: Transformers S02, Ep13 - "The Insecticon Syndrome"
Episode Review: Transformers S02, Ep13 – “The Insecticon Syndrome”
“Gigantic robot Insects that eat trees… you’ve gotta be kidding!” Beachcomber, Hound and Bumblebee are led by a ranger to investigate some chewed up trees. They quickly determine that it’s the Insecticons who have been munching them. Before long, the Insecticons are back at it, so The Autobots head over to investigate, not knowing that Megatron and his warriors are also looking for the…

Note
"primus shrapenel" trauma grinned "whats this i hear you ate to much metal?"
The Insecticon frowned at her, he was feeling terrible and Trauma seemed far too amused by it. "No such thing as too much (much)." he replied sounding somewhere between defiant and defensive. However while he could deny the notion that he might have overindulged his appetites, even he could not deny that something was wrong. With no interest in repeating the Nova Power Core incident he'd sought out the help of one of the Decepticons medics.
