We've all seen what fairy tale you'd put Madeleina in, but what about Val? Any fairy tale AUs for her?

I think because of her ability to shapeshift, maybe Beauty and the Beast?

Perhaps she was cursed to take on a monstrous form by witch (think Eda’s feral Owl demon form from Owl House) until she finds true love before some arbitrary birthday. So she would be Beast. Right as she’s about to give up, a wayward traveller by the name of Fenris (beauty, because let’s be real, mans is gorjus) arrives and helps her see that she’s not really the monster she and the villagers have made her out to be.

And, this is so unserious, but i had this intrusive thought of Elgarnan as Gaston.

Even more unserious - Illario as Lumiere. (Does that make Lucanis Cogsworth???)

I think over the course of the fairytale Fenris would get to realize the Beast is actually not that scary and can be pretty funny/goofy (and he’ll never admit it, but her jokes make him laugh).

Anyway, this is definitely making me feel like I need to draw this fairytale AU next. Thank you for feeding my next hyperfixation anon. And thank you for letting me yap about my rarepair, FenRook :’)

Azur has some weird thoughts, but he usually never says them out loud. Unless he was with his parents. Especially if it was with his dad.

“Azur, you need to stop saying those things. They are starting to freak me out a little.”

“Are they? If they are, I’m sorry. It’s just that I feel like I need to say something like that to start talking to you…”

“Really? Why would you think that?”

“Well both you and Mom are always so busy. That and who knows what’ll happen to you two. Your jobs are deadly ones, and I feel like I need to do things like this to have you talk to me.”

“…Azur, you know you can just talk to us whenever you want to. We’ll take time out of out days to talk to you, you know that right?”

“But-“

“Yes, I know. Our jobs can make us really busy at times, but we care more about you than our jobs.”

“…Thank you, Dad. You don’t know how much that means to me.”

You know that phrase that says you can never love two people in the exact same way or that there is no love like your first love?  Sometimes that just pops into my head and I think of this thing I read in a book once.

It was described like this:

Every person in the world has a specific mixture of 'colors' about them.  No two people have the exact same mix.  And when people interact with each other, their 'colors' mix.  And due to each person's 'colors', each time you interact with a different person, the mix of the 'colors' are different.  The 'colors' of the relationship you have with your parents is different from the 'colors' of the one with your best friend, SO, and every other person on this planet.

So just as each person's 'color' is different, so each relationship you have is 'colored' differently.  Each relationship is different BECAUSE each person is different.  it is IMPOSSIBLE to love two people in the same way because they aren't the same person.  Even if they're similar, you fell in love with them differently.  Because your relationship is, even if slightly, different.

I don't know.  I just think that's beautiful and deserved to be shared.
