Slightly belated for this prompt, but I've been wanting to do an illustration for Rotten Honey, the fic @cateringisalie wrote me earlier this year! This was such a vivid scene.

This is supposed to be part of a trio, but I'm still finishing the 3rd one XD but yeah, I've had the idea for these ever since the Honey Bee Inn in Remake XD just finally got to make them XD Reno with his tits out as always and Rude ready to kick butt anytime XD

if I had a nickel for every time I made a Spider-Man au based off a video game, I'd have three nickels, which isn't a lot but it's concerning that it's happened three times. This au is the spidey/final fantasy vii mashup, where Peter becomes the Unreliable Narrator

the BIGGEST dilemma(s) was figuring out if I should

A) keep the eyes in my art style (no colours, just the highlight), bc ngl it makes him seem more babey (pic 1),,, or

B) add the mako-glow to the eyes so i could be lore-accurate.... also I spent a lot of time!! on colouring in those pixels!!!!! dammit!!!!!!!!! (pic 2) and

C) OF COURSE i was struggling to choose between the white and red backgrounds!!!!! evil me!!!!!!! making difficult creative decisions!!!!!!

i will,,,, try to draw the other peeps as well (mj as tifa and gwen as aerith ,,, mmm yesss esysey yes ssss) but i fear the monkey brain has already died........ i will try tho,,,,,,,,,,

the honeybee inn staff and dancers were some of the nicest people I've met in wall market. everyone here is having a great time and it's just lovely. so empowering. 5/5 stars, would highly recommend.

What if Sephiroth defied his destiny, not by destroying the world, but by instead abandoning Shinra in order to find work at the Honey Bee Inn? Stranger things have happened, of course…

Author's Note: This is an AU where Jenova is fully destroyed. Some other shenanigans happen, and Shinra is in shambles, the SOLDIER program is effectively defunct. Midgar is a somewhat better place to live, but bureaucracy takes a while to do its job. This fic also features my oc Anicalandra Demitricolus from my other work, But the Earth Refused to Die, but all you need to know about that character is that she is a witch. This is her and Honey Bee!Sephiroth's first meeting. I enjoy this au a lot, and if the inspiration strikes, I might post another scene on here. Enjoy, and thanks for reading!
