Wait I’m not the only one who payed that hobbit game? Not sure if it was hard or if my sister and I were just Bad, but either way, I don’t think we ever finished it
YEAH!
It was definitely too hard for me when I was really young (probably stuck in the troll hole or the goblin cave)- I think we went back to it later on and had a great time with it!
The graphics are flawless.

Aragorn n Legolas r so funny to me bc people who don’t know lotr well see gruff manly ranger and elegant princely elf but they don’t know what i know. they don’t know that Aragorn is the long haired sensitive softboy writing sad poetry on his livejournal about not being able to show his girlfriend the awesome new song he wrote for her on his guitar meanwhile Legolas is doing backwards kickflips over gimli at the skate park bc gimli double dog dared him then he and gimli climb the tree at Aragorn’s house n yell at him through the window to come play halo

Christopher Lee - Jingle Hell 2013
Sir Christopher Lee (27 May 1922 – 7 June 2015) was an English actor and singer. In a career spanning more than sixty years, Lee became known as an actor with a deep and commanding voice who often portrayed villains in horror and franchise films. Lee was knighted for services to drama and charity in 2009, received the BAFTA Fellowship in 2011 and received the BFI Fellowship in 2013. Lee gained fame for portraying Count Dracula in seven Hammer Horror films. His other film roles include Francisco Scaramanga in the James Bond film The Man with the Golden Gun (1974), Count Dooku in two Star Wars films (2002–2008) and Saruman in both The Lord of the Rings film trilogy (2001–2003) and The Hobbit film trilogy (2012–2014). Before his acting career, Lee served in the Royal Air Force as an intelligence officer, attached to the No. 260 Squadron RAF during World War II as a liaison officer for the Special Operations Executive. He retired from the RAF in 1946 with the rank of flight lieutenant. Lee also sang, recorded opera and musical pieces between 1986 and 1998 and worked with several heavy metal bands.
With the song "Jingle Hell", Lee entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart at number 22, thus becoming the oldest living performer to ever enter the music charts, at 91 years and 6 months. After media attention, the song rose to number 18. "Jingle Hell" also features classically trained soprano Li Li.
"Jingle Hell" received a total of 29,4% yes votes.

You literally can’t. Practical effects are a dead art, and studios aren’t willing to put in the ten years of pre-production that gave us LOTR, because dipshit CEOs want instant products they can throw to the blathering masses on streaming.
Anyway this is why Del Toro is still the master of the craft.
Are we ever going to have fanstasy movies that are this level of good quality again? Because I miss the times when movies acully felt magical.

And NO this is not just my childhood nostalgia talking, because I didn't see Pan's labyrinth, Jim hensons labyrinth, Neverending story, the princess bride or fully watched the Lord of the rings movies until I was in my early twenties, I just wish that more movies cloud be as whimsical because it's sad that we dont have movies that embraces the fairytale anymore.

THE HOT MEDIEVAL & FANTASY MEN MELEE
SECOND ROUND: 37th Tilt (Final Tilt of This Round)
Elrond Half-elven, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy (2001-2003) VS. Thranduil, the Elvenking, The Hobbit Trilogy (2012-2014)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Propaganda
Elrond Half-elven, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy (2001-2003) Portrayed by: Hugo Weaving Defeated Opponents: - Elrond Half-Elven [Robert Aramayo], The Rings of Power (2022-) - King Henry V Plantagenet [Laurence Olivier], Henry V (1944)
"Elrond is arguably THE wisest guy around. Elrond knows what to do. Everybody knows that, which is why EVERYONE comes to Elrond for advice. That in itself is pretty sexy. On top of all that, could they possibly have cast him better? Like Hugo Weaving is so… otherworldly looking. He really excellently encapsulates how the elves are supposed to look neither old nor young. And if possible, he only looks better in The Hobbit?"
Thranduil, the Elvenking, The Hobbit Trilogy (2012-2014) Portrayed by: Lee Pace Defeated Opponents: - Vaisey, Sheriff of Nottingham[Keith Allan], BBC’s Robin Hood (2006-2009) - Asbjörn [Tom Hopper], Northmen: A Viking Saga (2014)
“He's such a bitch and I like him so much. THE blond bitch, old as hell and annoyed about everything. Willing to leave the dwarves in the dungeons to rot claiming he's patient but is not at all patient for an immortal. Also really pretty.”
Additional Propaganda Under the Cut
Additional Propaganda
For Elrond:
"Look, did they absolutely ruin Elrond’s character in the Lord of The Rings movies? Yes, absolutely. That is not Hugo Weaving’s fault. He put his whole elfussy into that performance with what he was given and he deserves to win"
