Eddie Munson is a hopeless romantic.
Not because he loves like it’s breathing (though some would argue otherwise), but because his attempts to be affectionate with you are complete and utter failures.
He had a whole romantic day planned. A late lunch, a quick walk, and then sunset at the park. Honestly, it probably would’ve been a pretty metal date if it was any day other than this one — the biggest flood of the whole goddamn year.
You got to the diner just fine but had to rush back to the trailer in the rain since he didn’t have his van. Thankfully, it waited to outright pour until he got you home. Now, his leather jacket — which you’d used as a makeshift umbrella — hangs beside the opened window to dry.
The orange autumn breeze rolls over your bare bodies like silk (because, of course, an innocent shower after getting drenched in the rain couldn’t not end in getting dirty again).
“Was all this just a ploy to get me into bed?” you tease, tracing the freckles on his back with the tip of your finger. “’Cause you coulda just asked, you know? I would’ve said yes.”
Lying flat on his stomach, Eddie laughs into his folded-up arms. His deep brown hair brushes his pale shoulders when he turns to look at you. His smile is swollen and rosy and crooked.
“You got me, princess. Making my girlfriend walk in disgusting weather was all a part of my evil plan.”
“I wouldn’t say it was evil.”
“No?”
“Sinful, maybe. Sexy, even,” you joke with a lopsided grin. “But no, not evil.”
“Is that so?” he lilts as he rises on his elbow to prop his cheek on his fist.
You shake your head and roll onto your back. Your eyes flit to the spotted ceiling. A smirk blossoms on your lips. “I feel like evil would imply that it was hurtful in some way. And that thing you did in the shower felt way too good to be evil.”
“What thing?” the boy wonders with pinched-together brows.
You shoot him a look. “You know…” you hum vaguely, expectantly.
“No. I don’t, actually,” Eddie laughs, mostly at himself. “I’m kinda dumb, in case you forgot.”
“You’re not dumb, Eds.”
“Stop being sweet. You’re deflecting.”
You concede with a small huff. “That… That thing. With your mouth. When you pressed me against the wall and— please, don’t make me describe it, Eddie,” you ramble, then cut yourself off to whine.
He meets your grimace with a boyish grin. “I don’t know. I kinda like hearing you talk about it.”
“I’ll die,” you deadpan.
“You’re so dramatic.”
His words are harsh, but his pink smile is kind. He kisses you with it after — a smacking peck to the corner of your mouth that migrates rather quickly. He sprinkles his lips along your jaw and chin and neck.
That’s where he lingers.
Eddie finds your pulse point and goes a half-inch higher, just like he did while he was fucking you against the shower wall. You nearly came the first time he kissed you there.
He sucks at the delicate skin until he leaves another faint mark. The feeling of his tongue and teeth on your newfound sweet spot makes your toes curl. It has you moaning out loud before you mean to.
His lips audibly smack when he pulls away.
“That thing?” he wonders, smiling down at you like he already knows the answer.
Your thighs clench together. Your bones are made of mush. “That thing,” you repeat in the affirmative.
“Well, if we’re sharing secrets…” Eddie singsongs, then leans in all close like he’s about to spill the latest gossip. His fingers spread out along your bare waist, eyes sparkling with mischief. “I really liked it when you got all mean.”
You hadn’t thought much of it, then — when Eddie edged you on the counter with his fingers and laughed when you writhed.
You didn’t even let him make it up to you after, just sucked him off and told him he wasn’t allowed to touch you. “Don’t cum ’til I tell you to, understand?” you’d said. “Or I’m gonna get myself off, and you’re gonna watch.”
He was a good boy for you, though, and you let him fuck you in the shower.
Your nose scrunches in muted embarrassment. “I wasn’t being that mean, was I?”
“No. I mean, you could certainly get meaner…” Eddie assures with a shake of his head, then grins as his fingers crawl up your ribcage. You fight back a shiver. “Which I think could be preferable from time to time.”
“So, you want me to be more… dominant?”
He shrugs a pale, freckled shoulder. “Yeah. Sometimes. I like watching you get all dumb for me, don’t get me wrong, but every time you get a little mean, I almost cum in my pants.”
The blatant confession makes you go slightly stupid. You just nod at him, lazy and unblinking. “Yeah. I can do that. You know, if that’s what you want.”
“I do want,” Eddie hums, matching your sloppy head shake. His nicotine-coated breath fans across your cheek. “Very, very much.”
“But not all the time, though, right?”
“No. Not all the time. Just… sometimes— when the moment’s right or whatever.”
“Sure…”
Eddie’s grin broadens when you trail off. A faraway look glazes over your eye. His brows raise expectantly. “What’s that look for?”
You blink rapidly as you descend from the clouds. Shaking your head, you dismiss him. “Nothing. Nothing— I just… I did kinda like not letting you come right away.”
“Yeah. Me too,” Eddie concurs, suddenly breathless.
Your gaze flits to his, mousy and twinkling. Your hands fidget above the covers. “And I kinda wanna try letting you cum and maybe… not stopping…”
Eddie’s eyes go wide. His mouth opens to respond, but he forgets how to speak. He barely remembers to breathe.
“Is that… Is that weird?” you ask, forcing a laugh at his unusual silence.
“No!” he blurts, sounding much louder in the honeyed quiet of his bedroom. “No, that’s… That’s really hot, actually. Like, really hot.”
He zones out just like you had. The imagery of it all makes his stomach whirl. He’s done it to you a number of times — brought you to the edge and kept on pushing you over until you pushed him away. But he’d never thought about ever doing it to himself till now.
Actually, there’s quite a lot of things he’s done to you that he might enjoy himself if he thinks about it.
The thought alone opens a world of possibility in his wild, wild head.
“Can I tell you about something I was thinking about the other day?” he wonders suddenly.
Though slightly startled by the blurted question, you nod. “Of course.”
His gaze flits away from yours. His hand fidgets at your waist, fingers softly scratching at your burning skin. “You know my handcuffs? The ones I clip on my jeans sometimes?”
Again, you nod.
“Well, I— I have the keys, you know? So it wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world if we— you know— if we used them…”
“On me?” you press, brows pinched in distant concern.
Eddie shakes his head immediately. “No. I know you don’t like that.”
“So… on you?”
“Yeah. Maybe. If you want,” the boy mumbles, suddenly shy in a way you’ve only seen a handful of times — including earlier, when he was begging to cum in your mouth. “I just think it could be cool, you know? Like, you could tie me up and just… use me. If you want,” he repeats.
“Use you?” you repeat with a soft laugh.
He shrugs. “Yeah. I mean, I don’t— I don’t really care about getting off as much as I care about you getting off, you know? I just… wanna take care of you. Want you to take what you want.”
You open your mouth to respond only to find that all words have lost meaning. Your brain is a jumbled mess of alphabet soup. So you just nod, dumb at the very thought.
Eddie’s hand rises from the covers. His palm settles warm at your jaw. His fingers smell faintly of sex as his calloused thumb smooths across your chapped lips. “You could, like, rub yourself on my cock. Get yourself off on top of me,” he murmurs lowly to you, a quiet and crooked grin pulling at his mouth. “Wouldn’t that be metal?”
“Yeah…” you answer with a sigh, getting lost in the daydream right along with him. “Wouldn’t put you inside me at first, either. Not until you’re begging for it.”
His smile widens. “Exactly.”
“Then I’ll ride you until you make me cum.”
Eddie nods, egging you on. He tucks his face into your neck, if only to conceal how ardently he’s blushing. He hides his pink cheeks between your jaw and shoulder and kisses you where he knows it’ll drive you crazy.
“Mhmm?” he urges, muffled.
You sigh a faint moan. Your fingers curl in his wild hair. You press your lips to his temple and continue. “And I’ll let you come, too. Eventually… But I won’t stop.”
“Fuck,” he groans into your pulse.
“Not until you’ve filled me up three times—”
“Oh, fuck…”
You tug at his hair with a soft, stern touch you think you could learn to master for him. His lips click faintly when he parts from you. He blinks down at you with glassy chocolate eyes.
“Something like that?” you wonder, feigning innocence with a sweet-sounding lilt.
Eddie nods, sloppy and stupid. He stammers. “Yeah… Yeah. Some—Something like that.”

Closing the door as gently as he could, Eddie tip toed down the hall of the trailer and rounded into the kitchen to get himself a beer. He’d played hard enough with Autumn that she could barely keep her eyes open through her bath, but that also meant he wore himself out in the process. So after cracking open a can, he plops his ass down and turns on the TV, ready to chill until he passes out on the couch.
Well, that was the plan. Just as he got comfortable, there was a small knock on the trailer door. With a frustrated sigh, Eddie jumps back up, mumbling something about people coming to his house so late at night.
“Listen, I’ve told you all I don’t fucking deal anymore—Woah!”
Instead of some annoying kids looking for weed, Eddie was met with your sniffling nose and tear stained cheeks. He immediately went into best friend mode, wrapping you in a big hug and letting you get those emotions out.
After some crying and a soaked shoulder later, you finally peel yourself away from Eddie and attempted to talk, but only babbling came out.
“Shhh, it’s okay,” Eddie says, thumbs rubbing the tops of your shoulders. “Just calm down and tell me what happened? Did someone hurt you?”
You shook your head, doing your best to compose yourself.
“He-he-he g-got mar-married,” you hiccup out.
Eddie blinks at you. He knows exactly what you were talking about. Dustin told him back when that Harrington met a girl about 6 months ago and apparently they hit it off right away. The last thing he wanted to do was tell you about her considering your long time pining for him Especially considering he’s the reason Harrington would never ask you out. But you ended up finding out on your own, and devastated couldn’t even begin to describe how you felt.
It seemed soon in Eddie’s opinion, granted he would marry you tomorrow if you would say yes. When Dustin told him that he was going to be the best man that the wedding, Eddie had mixed feelings. He knew that it would kill you when you found out. That you’d react exactly as you were now.
Actually, you’re doing a little better than he anticipated.
“He came into the store and,” you blew your nose into the toilet paper he grabbed for you, “and I saw the ring on his finger when he was getting his money out of his wallet.”
“I’m so sorry, sweetheart,” Eddie says, wrapping an arm around you and pulling you close.
“They haven’t even known each other that long! He’s such an idiot…”
“I’ve been trying to tell you that,” Eddie jokes, rolling his eyes.
“Oh god, what if--do you think it’s because she’s pregnant?”
Eddie’s pretty sure Dustin would have told him if that was the reason why, but it’s not an unreasonable guess.
“I don’t know, could be? Or maybe Steve Harrington is just an idiot like you said. And maybe they’ll be divorced by this time next year. Who knows, right?”
You sighed, leaning into Eddie and resting your head against him. “I don’t even know why I’m so upset. He was never going to ask me out anyway. No one wants a young single mom. Steve has his whole life to do what he wants, why would he be with someone who has so much baggage?”
“Hey, don’t say that about Audy,” Eddie scolds.
“No, I’m sorry, that’s not what I meant,” you correct, “I was talking about myself. I’d never be with someone who didn’t accept Autumn. Even Steve Harrington. I just…I’m damaged goods, Eddie.”
Eddie could feel himself getting upset but didn’t want to make things worse right now, so he took a few breathes to steady himself. He said your name sternly, pulling your full attention to him.
“I don’t like it when you say things like that. It makes me feel like it’s my fault--”
“Eddie,” you stop him before he can get another word out, “You know that you didn’t do anything wrong. I’ve told you before that if I was going to get pregnant right out of high school with anyone that I wouldn’t want it to be with anyone else but you.”
Eddie knows this, and he feels the same. But it’s not what he wants.
Even though it was all a total accident, he hoped that night the two of you spent together was going to be the next step for both of you. And even though he was scared after you told him with tears in your eyes then that he had gotten you pregnant, he wished with all his might that it would bring the two of you closer together.
Which it did in a way. Obviously the two of you would be bound together for the rest of your lives, but it wasn’t in the way he wanted. You still were head over heels for Steve, and there was no way Eddie could even compare to the king.
“Yeah…I know.” He says somberly. Your brows pinch, making him worried he should have said something else.
Then your expression changed. You looked at him intensely for a moment, before your eyes became lidded and…were you leaning in?
Eddie thought fast, making a quick decision to put his hand over your mouth, stopping you in your tracks. Your eyes go wide as dinner plates, tears perching on your waterline as what hot embarrassment washes over you.
“I’m sorry,” Eddie says, suddenly regretting everything. This could have been his chance and he was an idiot.
You pull his hand from his mouth, sitting in silence for a moment before you begin to laugh. It catches Eddie off guard and he freezes.
“Eddie, I should be the one apologizing,” you say with giggles. “I’m the one who was stupid enough to try and kiss her best friend for a second time. We both know what happened the first time and the last thing we need is history to repeat itself.”
Eddie still felt conflicted. Your tone wasn’t sitting right with him, like there was some level of self depreciation in your words.
After a moment you stop laughing. Your face warps into worry as you stand from the couch.
“I-I need to go—“
“No, wait!” Eddie stands to grab your wrist before you could run away. He pulls you into him and hugs you tightly to him. You stand still before slowly wrapping your arms around him, gripping his shirt in your hands.
“Listen, I know you’re going through a lot emotionally right now, but…I’m here for whatever you need. Even if…” He trails off for a moment, knowing that he’s just going to hurt himself if he lets you use him. But he can’t turn you away when you need him. He’d rather you take advantage of his feelings than run off to someone else who would hook up with you without second thought.
“Even if it means crossing a boundary that we’ve already crossed before.”
Eddie feels you press into him harder, face buried in his chest. And when you look up at him, Eddie thinks he could melt into a puddle and let you mold him to however you’d like.
“I don’t think I should make any rash decisions right now,” you say with a sniffle. “I think I just need to clear my head. Let myself rot in my own misery instead of dumping it all on you.”
“Or,” Eddie says with a smile, “you could rot with me. I rented some movies and some beers in the fridge that have your name on them. I think we have some leftover pizza still, too.”
Your smile was so bright it was comparable to the sun rising. There was nothing in the world that could keep him down as long as you were happy. Eddie probably would have dropped out of school after his second failure if you hadn’t simply smiled at him and told him that he would graduate next year, for sure. He probably only did because you smiled at him every time he got a good grade.
The way you hugged him for a long time after a report card with no F’s on it kept Eddie’s head in the zone that last school year. And, well, the way your body felt under his when he finally graduated…
Eddie shook his head, wracking his brain for anything to keep his mind from thinking about that night right now. There’s no way him getting a boner while you were still holding on to him so tight would be good.
“I think that sounds like a good idea,” you finally say after staring up at him for several beats. But Eddie caught the somber look in your eyes. It was going to take a lot of distracting to get you in a good head space.
“You know, I think we might still have some popcorn, too.”
Tumblr media
After a few drinks, some weed, and a movie and a half later, Eddie finds himself waking up on his couch at some point after falling asleep. The bright, staticy screen causes him to squint his eyes, turning his head enough to bump his chin against the top of your head.
Eddie looks down at where you’re leaning into his side. He vaguely remembers wrapping an arm around you before the two of you had succumbed to sleep. It pains him to possibly wake you but the urge to pee is what startled him awake in the first place, so he does his best to untangle himself from you and sneaks to the bathroom.
On the way back to the couch, Eddie decided to stop in his room and grab a blanket for the two of you. But when he returns, he finds you sitting up and rubbing the sleep from your eyes.
“Hey,” you croak out, looking at him with squinted eyes.
“Hey,” he whispers back. “I brought us a blanket.”
You stretch before standing up from the couch. “I should probably head home, Eddie.”
“Sweetheart its,” he leans to check the time on the microwave, “3 in the morning.”
Your eyes go wide, hands running over your face. “It is? Fuuuuck.”
“Just stay,” Eddie says, walking over to you and wrapping you up in the blanket. You groan, feeling conflicted on if you should stay and sleep on Eddie’s couch or if you should brave the drive home.
“Hey, if you stay, you don’t have to drive all the way over here to get Fae in the morning.”
“Ugh, okay you got me,” you say, giving in. You sit back down on the couch and start to make yourself comfortable.
“Wait, you can sleep in my bed. Promise I don’t bite.”
That took less convincing as you pop back up, dragging the blankets behind you as you wobble to Eddie’s room. Eddie laughs as you plop into his bed, stealing one of his pillows to make yourself comfortable.
“Hey save some room for me,” he says, walking around to the other side to climb in. He lays next to you, adjusting in an obnoxious manner that has you giggling. You turn to face him and he does the same.
“I love you,” you say at the tail end of a giggle. It’s something said frequently between the two of you. Genuine as it’s spoken after years of friendship.
“Love you, too,” Eddie says with a sigh. Sleep soon takes you both over again. The only sounds that can be heard is the sound of the a/c doing its best to cool down the trailer.
Tumblr media
Eddie felt himself waking once again, this time much more comfortably in his own bed. He yawned, shaking a bit as the feeling of waking overcame his body.
The sun peaking through the cracks of his curtains gave the room just enough light that he could see the room with a slight glow. Turning his head, he chanced to see if you were still laying with him. He had a dream that you’d left with Autumn and ran away with Steve that left a sick feeling in his stomach.
Much to his delight you were indeed still occupying the bed with him. Smiling wide as you looked at him, already awake where you lay.
“Mornin’,” he says in his morning voice, and your eyes flicker.
“Morning,” you squeak back. As Eddie turns to face you, your hand finds its way out from under the covers and reaches out towards him. Your fingers gently glide across his cheek, rubbing against the stubble as you push his hair out of his face.
The way you’re looking at him has Eddie’s tummy feeling funny, but in a different way from his dream. You’re looking at him the same way he looks at you.
Suddenly, you push yourself up on your arm, hand still on his cheek as you start to lean in once again. Eddie’s heart beats hard against his chest as you close the distance between the two of you, your lips meeting his in a soft kiss.
It lasts a few moments, and Eddie melts into it. It was a kiss like none he’s ever had before. Not even compared to the last time the two of you kissed before Autumn was born. This kiss felt like a hot cup of coffee on a cold winter morning, the warmth spreading to every part of his body as he drank you in.
When you pulled away, Eddie chased after you, not wanting it to end so soon unknowing if it would ever happen again. When you don’t kiss him again, his eyes finally open to meet yours. They’re bouncing everywhere, scanning his face as if looking for an answer written on his skin.
“Eddie…”
But Eddie doesn’t let you ponder much longer, hand snaking around your head to pull you into him once more. This time more feverishly, the heat palpable between the two of you.
You shift so that you can bury your hands in his hair, and Eddie takes advantage of this to move himself above you. Eddie kisses you into the pillow beneath you, long kisses turning into passionate smacking, poking the fire that was burning between you.
“Tell me to stop,” Eddie says as his lips begin to move down your cheek and to your neck. He says your name breathily, “Tell me now, because I won't be able to stop once this starts.”
“I-I can’t. I won’t,” you stutter, hands grabbing at his waist as he kisses and nips at your neck. Eddie breathes against you, body alight knowing that you wanted this as much as him.
“But,” you say, stopping him in his tracks. You give him a coy smile, nodding towards the door. “You better make it quick. You know she’ll wake up at any moment.”
Eddie huffs out a laugh, “Don’t gotta tell me twice. Better get to work then.”
Eddie suddenly lifts the blanket above the both of you and disappears underneath it. Soft kisses leave a trail from your knees to the apex between them. Eddie slips his fingers in the hem of the sleep pants he let you borrow, pulling them down with your panties in one quick motion. There was barely any light to see, so he decided to just dive in tongue first.
He ate you out like a man starved. Your thighs try hard to wrap around him as he works you up on his tongue, but his strong arms hold you open for him. Eddie groans at the way your fingers grip his hair, tugging just enough to burn so good against his scalp.
Once he added fingers, you had to cover your mouth with your hand to keep yourself quiet. It was like Eddie knew exactly what you liked, because not long after you were coming undone, riding his face as you did.
Eddie crawls up your body, head resting between your breasts as he pokes out from under the covers.
“Jesus, Eddie,” you pant, looking at him in awe.
“And that’s not even the best part,” he teases, making you roll your eyes at him. You grab his face and bring him closer to you, tasting yourself on his lips as you kiss him again.
Eddie rolls his hips subconsciously, and you can feel how hard he is as he grinds against you. You want to say you also forgot how big he was, but it’s something you didn’t want to admit you thought about often.
Your hand travels between you, fingers trailing against his skin as you reach the hem of his boxers. Slipping under it, you feel your way to his hard cock, taking it in your hand to pump him. He whines against your lips, hips moving faster in your grip. You watch with awe struck eyes as his beautiful face contorts in pleasure above you.
“Please,” he pants out as he fucks your hand, “Wanna be inside you. Can I?”
You nod silently, unbelievably turned on by your best friend for the second time now.
He works fast pulling his boxers off quickly, a loud thwaping coming from his cock smacking against his stomach after getting caught on the waistband. Your eyes go wide as you take in his size.
After almost 2 years you’re still shocked at what Eddie Munson is packing. Those dumb ass cheerleaders that picked the bone head jocks over him have no idea what they missed out on.
Eddie settled himself between your legs, spitting on his own cock to get it good and wet before rubbing it in your soaked folds. You had a moment of clarity, realizing that Eddie wasn’t wearing a condom. You opened your mouth to speak, but your words got caught up in a moan as Eddie pushed his way inside of you.
The stretch took your breath away. Eddie seesawed his way into your tight cunt, opening you up on his cock until he was balls deep inside of you. He placed his hands on either hip and started moving, holding you tight as he worked up his pace.
Every thrust felt like too much and not enough at the same time. The constant knocking against your sweet spot had you seeing stars quickly, still worked up from him eating you out. The pretty sounds that Eddie was making wasn’t helping either, but you still had enough mind to shush him so that he wouldn’t wake your daughter.
Eddie’s pace quickens, and he makes the fatal mistake of adding his thumb to the mix. It only throttles you to the edge for a second time this morning. It’s not much longer before your vision goes white, toes curling as your orgasm takes over. It's probably the hardest you’ve cum in a long time.
“Oh, fuck.”
You barely registered Eddie’s words, but you definitely felt the reason behind his curses. Eddie was cumming deep inside you, balls emptying into your pussy as you were still riding out your own orgasm.
In the moment it felt amazing, but the post orgasm bliss left you crashing as you realized the very real situation you were both in.
Eddie felt himself being pushed by you, taking him out of his own high as he stumbled back on his ass. As you open your mouth to speak, Eddie is hit with a wave of deja vu with every word.
“Did you fucking cum in me?” The words came out in slow motion and Eddie’s body broke out in cold sweat.
“I-I’m sorry. I was going to pull out, I just—“
“What? You forgot? Are you kidding me Eddie? Do you not remember what happened the last time?”
Right on cue, your daughter's whines could be heard from across the hall. You sigh, kicking the covers completely away from you and grabbing the pajama pants you had back on.
“Listen, I really am sorry,” Eddie says, looking at you with big, sad eyes. You groan, unable to stay mad at him when he looks at you like that.
“What are we going to do then, Eddie?” You ask him, walking out of his bedroom to get your daughter.
Eddie sits on the bed for a moment and thinks. He knows that you getting pregnant again while Autumn’s only and a half isn't ideal. Not that you being pregnant is ideal anyway, but honestly Eddie wouldn’t be mad about it.
He was so head over heels for both you and Autumn that he doesn’t hate the idea of another person to love is the worst thing. But he’s also not the one doing all the hard work. And if it wasn’t obvious the first time that having a kid wouldn’t fix any problems, then having a second would probably not make much of a difference in your feelings towards him.
The door opens again and Eddie watches as you enter with a squealing toddler on your hip, clearly happy to see both mommy and daddy.
“Morning, sweet girl,” Eddie cooes, scooping his baby up and smothering her with kisses, sending Autumn into a fit of giggles.
“I went ahead and changed her. If you want to dress her I’ll make breakfast.”
Eddie gave you a quick salute as you went to the kitchen, leaving him and your mini me to get ready for the day. It took a lot of wrestling but he was able to get the little one dressed, including hair done, and looking presentable for the day.
Fixing her up in her highchair, Eddie sat at the small kitchen table and breathed a sigh of relief. You shook your head at his theatrics, setting breakfast down for the both of them.
“Hey, I was thinking,” Eddie said, spooning some applesauce into Autumn’s mouth. “After we eat, why don’t I follow you to the pharmacy and we can pick you up a Plan B?”
You quirk an eyebrow in amusement. “You have Plan B money this time?”
“Ha ha,” Eddie laughs dryly at your reference to the last time you had sex, the both of you freaking out over having no money. Thankfully Eddie was able to get a good job at Hawkins Auto Body when you got pregnant. He makes pretty good money now considering he was able to get his own trailer. Money is still tight, but he can manage.
“Fine, better eat up then, or else you’re gonna have two mouths to feed instead of one.”
Eddie looks at your daughter, spitting image of him, besides your nose, and smiles. Maybe now isn’t the right time, but…maybe one day.

Window's rolled down, music on low, his hand on your thick thigh, your husband was driving you two to the move theatre in town. They were hosting some new random horror movie and the both of you thought it looked interesting, the idea to go on a date and watch it together randomly came up in a conversation last night. He's often times working so going out like this is rare, but whenever it happens, you absolutely cherish it, and so does he.
You could feel his fingers playing with the end of your skirt, occasionally gripping your thigh, his hand even leaving a mark. This is what he'd always do whenever he was driving and you were with him, he'd get you all riled up, all soaked up, and it's tortuous. The way his hand would slide up beneath your skirt was so painful, not literally, but he never even touched you, that made it painful. And half of the time, he doesn't even end up fucking you til way later or he doesn't at all. Such a man sometimes.
He wouldn't even acknowledge how horny you are either, he just knows, he loves making you feel all good inside just you leave you with nothing.
"We're almost there, by the way." You said softly, gazing out the window at the scenery outside. "Good to know, baby, thank you." Leon responded, his fingers trailing up her skirt again, just to simply not do shit. "Jesus Christ." You whispered underneath your breath, praying he wouldn't hear over the music. He was playing some song by Seether, it's all he ever listens to. You swear you know every song and every lyric by heart. Same with Hinder. This man and his early 2000s rock music, you swear.
The view on the way there was pleasant though. Mostly stores and other useless buildings but aside from that, you could spot tall & wide mountains in the distance. They're all able to be hiked too, you and Leon have done it before but in the summer heat, hell no. Luckily, it's autumn, no need to worry about that. Other than the mountains, the sky was gorgeous. That deep orange tint on the horizon was beautiful, it suited the night perfectly.
"What is this movie called again?" "It's called Smile, I don't know, looked creepy as hell." You spoke. "Yeah, yeah, the trailer was fucked." Leon snickered, one hand on the wheel still. "How much cash did you bring?" "Well, I brought my card, so a shit ton." Leon chuckled, "Using me for my money still, I see how it is." "What? You think there was another reason I married you?" You bit your lip, clearly, you were joking. He dug his nails into your thigh, causing your breath shutter. "Be quiet." He hummed, his teasing tone was deadly.
You couldn't help but let out a small giggle, he never fails to make you laugh. His humor is great, that's something you two bonded over immediately when you first met. You reminisce on that day often. Ever since, your life has been ultimately changed for the better. Leon was genuinely the light at the end of the tunnel for you, hopefully he feels the same way about you.
Just up a few more blocks was the movie theatre. This one is rather large, it was built more recently too. Only four years ago and it's held up well. When it was first built, you and Leon were still dating, now you're married, time flies by so quickly. The both of you have also been there a couple times before, about four times, each time was so nice. Leon really knows how to treat you. Every single date he takes you out on is special in it's on way. He's a miracle worker.
"Just up here." You whispered out, putting your phone in your little white purse that of course, Leon bought for you. He wasn't a poor man, rather wealthy. You don't know all too much about his job, he'd rather save the details, but from what you do know, he's a federal agent whose under the President, now that's saying something. And it all works out amazingly considering his love language is to spoil you with gifts, dates, travels, etc.. He truly never lets up on spending money on you.
"I know sweetheart." He leered, holding your thigh much more lightly now, his grip more gentle. "I'm praying they have sour patch kids." You snickered, Leon hummed at your comment. He's well aware it's your favorite candy... He's definitely spent hundreds on it. "Figured you'd say that." He snorted, pulling into the theatre parking lot. Surprisingly, it wasn't too packed. To your mental math, there was only ten or eleven vehicles, then again, it was a work night.
"Here we go." Leon grunted at he parked, taking the keys out of the ignition. "Grab my wallet for me, will ya doll?" "Yes babe." You replied, grabbing his wallet as you opened your car side door. Leon got out directly after, walking over to you. "Come here." He held his hand out. You handed him his wallet then grabbed a hold of his hand, squeezing it as you walked beside him. He was extremely tall, much taller than you. You were under 5'7, he was 6'2, you rather enjoyed the difference.
That instant hit of popcorn was glorious, it smelt like you'd just entered heaven. There was no one else in the lobby besides you and him, and obviously the workers. Not only did it smell so good, the decor was so retro, you loved the style of it. "I always forget how nice this place looks." You said in awe, loving the late '80s feel. "It is pretty." Leon huffed out before pulling his wallet out, "Go pick out whatever you'd like while I get out tickets." Your husband said deeply, pulling his card out.
You smirked at his words. You grabbed his arm and stood up your tippy toes to get to his ear, "Ask for popcorn please." You were sort of shy, you didn't wanna ask the employee yourself, plus you don't even have money to buy it, so. "I will, go on now." Leon chuckled as he then began to speak to the worker. You nodded, letting go of him and walking on over to the candy stand, they had a lot. But of course, your heart desired the sour patch kids the most, you grabbed them with haste.
You know Leon loves peanut M&Ms, he's always snacking on them, you grabbed a single pack of them for him as well. There was also some warheads in singular packaging, you grabbed ten, five for you and five for him, sour candy is your all time fav. You turned around, gazing over at Leon as he paid for you guy's tickets and the popcorn, you were excited for it. You were a foodie at heart, you could eat, and eat, and eat and never ever get tired of it. That's most likely why 80% of the dates you two go on are dinner dates.
Ambling back to your husband, you handed him the candy, your eyes locking on his. "Good, thank you." He smiled down at you, placing the sweets on the counter. "Good girl for getting my M&Ms." He whispered in your heart, his deep voice making your insides twist up like a pretzel, which was ironic due to the fact there were some in the hot food bar. "Heheh." You giggled, locking your arm with his, waiting on the popcorn.
"Your total is 16.20$." The woman behind the counter stated. Leon swiped his card through the machine, signing his signature too to verify the purchase. You grabbed the popcorn and Leon took your guy's candy, sliding the tickets into his back pocket. "Make it quick doll." Leon said from behind you as you began to butter it up. You loved the salty & savory popcorn, you'd drench it in that tangy yellow butter, but there is a point where it's too much.
Leon set his hands on your waist from behind you, his rough thumbs caressing the little sliver of skin showing from your shirt. You were wearing a tight shirt paired with your skirt, it had been awhile since the two of you went out so you thought it was cute. Despite only little bits of your hips showing, he still showed you he loved it. His nails lightly tickled at your midriff, watching you as you fixed up the food for the two of you. "All done?" "Done." You mumbled, turning around, his hands not moving though.
He leaned down, pressing his lips to your forehead gently before he then simply pressed his forehead against yours, "You're my everything." He hushly spoke. You were honestly caught of guard but maybe he was just in a lovey dovey mood...? "Love you too." You leered, kissing his lips swiftly, not wanting the employees to feel awkward. "C'mon baby, you know that ain't no kiss." He then gripped your chin, his lips settling upon yours for what felt like an eternity. You felt his tounge briskly swipe against your glossy lips, he could definitely taste the cherry.
He didn't go any further than that, pulling away after a few more seconds, "Let's go." He snickered, slipping his hand down your back as he lead you to the room. "You're so fucking crazy." You smacked his abs through his shirt. "Sorry, I just love you, is that so bad?" He acted sort of oblivious. Once again, he's such a man. "It's sooo bad." You dragged out your wording in a sarcastic manner, earning a titter from him. Making Leon laugh isn't too much of an accomplishment, he'll laugh at cat videos on the web.
"Just through here." Leon pushed the door open. The lights were still on too, proving the movie hasn't begun yet, luckily. There was only a couple other people in there, about five, they were all at the front. "Let's get in the back." Leon stated, gripping your hand firmly, "Why?" "Because I said so, be good and listen." He teased. You felt arousal stream over you when he said that, gosh, he's so good. You climbed up the stairs behind him, your hand still interlocked with his as you did so.
You two sat just a couple rows away from the very back, wanting to at least have a decent view of the massive screen. Leon sat down, then you did. "Here baby." You murmured, pulling the two ice cold water bottles from your purse. "Smooth criminal." He joked, taking his and placing it in it's holder. "Their drinks are more than their popcorn, it's ridiculous." You spat out, setting the popcorn in his lap. "Always making me hold it." "Mhm." You giggled. He glared at you, making your heart beat fast. You knew he was playing around but for odd enough reasons, it turns you the hell on.
You took the sour patch kids bag, ripping it out and setting it on the side of your leg, having it tucked between you and the seat. You'd save your warheads for later. "You gonna eat your candy?" "Maybe later, the popcorn is just fine for now." Leon assured you, taking a couple pieces in his mouth. Understandable. You ate a few pieces of your candy, the taste of them was immaculate, it could never get old.
-
After ten minutes or so of previews, trailers and commercials, the movie finally began. The lights went dark, setting the mood immensely. You could hardly see Leon's attractive face. "Finally." You uttered beneath your breath, taking some popcorn from his lap and eating it. The buttery, salty taste was too good, you practically moaned while eating it. The title card came on screen, the eerie noise playing in the background really suited the film from what you've seen.
At first, Leon wasn't paying too much attention to you, his eyes glued to the screen, he seemed to be into the movie so far. You tried to be, but that desirable burning feeling deep inside you wasn't doing you any justice. You could feel yourself pulsing, the mere thought of him had your panties soaked. He hasn't even done anything to crazy either, that's how good he is. He's such a dick sometimes. You can't even think about it, it makes you want him more. He can a man be so alluring?
As you snacked on your candy, you nearly lost your breath as you felt his hand slither onto your thigh, just as it was in the car earlier. Each one of his fingers caused an electric wave to course through you. The way they'd slightly lift off of your skin as they squeezed it, it was too much. You could feel as his pinky glided underneath your skirt, seemingly getting closer with his entire hand. "Movie is good so far, yeah?" Leon whispered to you, his hand going fully beneath your skirt now. Curse this man.
You didn't even reply, your body just simply reacted to his advances. You spread your legs open as much as you could in the tight chair, which wasn't too much but Leon definitely liked what you did considering he tightly gripped it, gaining a soft whimper out of you. "Look at how you responsive you are..." He murmured, not even glancing at you, making himself seem like he was just casually watching the film. At this point, you could care less about the fucking movie. You wanted his cock inside you. But maybe... His fingers would have to suffice.
"Finger me." You panted, looking at him, desperation plastered on your beautiful face. Leon didn't listen to your pleas, his pinky finger rubbing over your wet panties. That wasn't good enough, it never would be. You wanted him inside you, you wanted him to feel how wet you were for him. "Look how wet I am baby." You muttered. "Mmm, I can feel princess." He grunted, his entire hand planting itself onto your cunt through your undergarments, you whimpered quietly, needing to keep the act up.
"Please..." You gripped his arm. Leon sighed heavily, his eyes leaving the screen, his eyes locking on yours as he gandered down your body, taking the sight in. "So needy." He teased you. "You gonna stay quiet?" "Yes, I promise, please." You begged of your husband, your eyes never leaving his. "Don't make a single noise." He huffed out deeply, his voice husky. He pulled your dripping panties to the side, his index finger gliding through your wetness, causing you to sigh softly, not making a noise though. "Mmm." You murmured, resting your head against his fit arm.
His index finger continues to pick up your wetness, you could hear him sigh once more, "Fuck." He muttered, the sound of your sopping cunt was so fucking good to him. His fingers made their way to your nub, beginning to rub it with ease, a surge of pleasure bursting in your tummy as he did this. He made small yet fast circles on your clit, earning some subtle noises out of you ; Luckily, he didn't hear, the movie was starting to up itself in volume, good for you two.
"Does that feel good?" Leon purred out to you, his eyes shooting over to gaze at you, his eyes in a trance as he watched your face contort just by his touch. "Mhm." You moaned out hushly, your arms wrapped around his fit arm. "Good girl." He whispered, his fingers slapping your clit as they then went back down your slit, your wetness was practically dripping down your ass and onto the seat, sorry to the worker who'll have to clean your mess up...
His finger went all the way down before he then stuck it inside of you, your tightness grasping around it. Leon chuckled at how tight you were, you never fail to amaze him. He pumped his finger in & out of you, so moderately. "Gotta stay silent, remember that." Leon teased you, his thumb going to your clit, now fingering & rubbing you. This two in one deal was going to be the end of you. "Jesus..." You whimpered, your teeth sinking into his arm, causing him to only thrust his finger into you faster.
Your wetness was louder now, each time his finger went back into you, it sounded like a lemon being squeezed. You love biting Leon, he loves it too. One thing Leon especially loves is when he's fucking you, he's right on top of you, making you lose your sense of reality then you just bite down on his bulk shoulder. Gosh, he loves when you do that to him. His entire finger was drenched in your fluids, it was shining due to the bright lights emitting from the ginormous screen projector.
"Keep it quiet sweetheart." He whispered, a light snicker playing off his tongue. He was such an ass. He knows you can't be silent for much longer. He's bringing you closer and closer and closer to the edge. You fear if he keeps going at this rate, you'll cum and scream his name, like always. "It's so- so hard." You stuttered, your nails digging into his forearm fiercely. "Oh, you can do it." Leon praised you, he knows you can't.
As his singular finger continued it's work, you clenched around him even more as he slid another one in, this time curling each finger with every pump. No one in the theatre had noticed, surprisingly. All of them were mindless souls indulged in the film. You also really wanted to watch the movie, but fuck this was so much more needed than to watch some stupid horror flick. His thumb continued to rub your nub, the most sensitive nerve causing your brain to lose track of itself and your stomach to do flips like it's a gymnast.
"Leon... Baby..." You panted out, your hair getting messy from how much you've been tossing and turning your head. He didn't reply. His face was staring directly in front of him, acting all innocent, no one would suspect a thing... Yet he was finger fucking you, making your pussy clench around his fingers more tightly than ever before. His thumb was stroking your clit with pace, he was relentless on it. It was as if he was trying to gain a rise out of you and knowing him, he definitely was.
"Seriously." You whined, pressing your forehead against his upper arm. This man was going to be the fucking death of you.
"What is it?" He calmly said, still not looking at you whatsoever. "Fingers aren't enough, fuck me, I don't care about the stupid movie anymore." You said with an seductive tone. "Fingers aren't enough, huh?" He chortled as he began to finger fuck you at light speed. You instantly closed your legs, stopping all of his movements. "Don't." You squeaked, removing his hand from between your legs. Leon giggled, his hand gripping ahold of your cheeks sternly as he forced you to look up at him.
"You need me to fuck you?" "Yes baby, please." You mooched off your husband. You needed him and you need him at this current moment in time. "Well, where do you want to be fucked? In here? Where anyone could possibly see? In the restroom? In the car-?" "Let's find somewhere, please." You stated loud and clear, fixing your panties and skirt. Leon get go of your face. "Mmm, lead the way gorgeous." He held your hand, following behind you now. It felt powerful to take charge, to tell him this is what you want.
You both jogged down the stairs but acted as normal as possible, acting as if Leon wasn't just feeding into your dirty needs. Pushing open the wooden doors, you looked around and only saw a bathroom and other doors leading to another theatre area. Leon gripped your hand tighter, trying to indicate something to you. You spun around, looking back at the door behind you. "That's an employees only room!" "I doubt anyone is in here, c'mon." Leon laughed quietly.
He wrapped his hand around the knob, twisting it and pushing the door open. All that was in there was a table, some random movie posters and a counter, probably a type of break room. "Dammit, come here." Leon expired, grabbing your waist and pulling you against him. He lessened the space between the two of you as he smashed his needy lips against yours, his moving against yours in a passionate make-out.
Your arms went to his shoulders, holding onto them with care as you set your entire body against his. There was absolutely no stopping between kisses, it was constant. Heavy breathing and kisses were all that could be heard. Leon's hands went from your hips and down to your ass, gripping it hard as he licked your bottom lip, so badly wanting entry. You, of course, granted him exactly that. You moaned into the kiss as he squeezed your ass, slapping it too, he tried to keep it down though. This is technically illegal, so...
As you two made out sexually, he pushed you up against the wall, his hands still beneath your skirt, going from playing with your rear and pussy repeatedly. You'd randomly feel his fingers against your clit for short periods of time. Your nails scratched into his shoulders, you were so into this. Your sense of relief was this. He knew what to do and how to do it to you. Leon's tongue swiped against yours, his practically engulfing yours. He loves doing this.
You slightly stuck your tongue out mid kiss, Leon immediately jumped at the opportunity. He swiped his tounge along yours so deliberately, the sensual texture of it causing your pussy to literally drip more than it was before. Leon then grabbed your chin, tilting it to get a better angle. His entire tongue licked yours, then he wrapped his lips around it, suckling. Your moved your hands from his face and down to his waist, holding onto his shirt for what felt like dear life.
After sucking on your tounge for a few seconds, he pulled away swiftly, pecking you once more and now kissing down your precise jawline. You tipped your head back, allowing him to gain more access. His kisses were so slow and gentle, he really took his time. His heavy breathing was so sexy, it showed how much he needed you. He truly yearned for your presence, your touch, your everything. "You smell amazing." Leon breathed in, giving the end of your jawline a quick nibble. You giggled, kissing his cheek before going back to the same position as before.
Leon smooched down your throat, relishing in your perfume and it's enticing smell. "Mmm, what scent babygirl?" "Honestly..." You began, "I don't fucking know." You chuckled, earning a snicker from him. He licked from the top of your neck and all the way down, leaving a strip of saliva just there. He kissed all along the strip, you couldn't help but whimper, each kiss and every lick was to die for. You couldn't get enough of him. Leon groaned, his hands holding your ass - He couldn't get enough of you.
Making his way down to the middle of your neck, his hot breath sat on that same spot for a few moments before you felt that painfully pleasing feeling of his teeth lightly sinking into your skin. "Fuck." You moaned, your nails sunk into his slim waist. You felt his tongue going erratic on your neck as he continued to bite you. "Leon..." You soughed out, tilting your head to the side even further, wanting him to leave more love bites on you.
Heading you call his name, he pulled away from your neck, he gave you a fast peck before pressing his forehead against yours. "What's wrong sweetheart?" Leon panted, his right hand on the side of your neck where he was just feasting upon you seconds ago. "You make me feel so good." "Yeah?" "Make me feel even better." You whispered, your arms now encasing around his neck, embracing him closely. "Oh babygirl." Leon sighed out, caressing your neck carefully. "I'll make you feel just fine."
Your husband turned around, scanning the room. "Lay down on that table." He snickered, stepping away from you. "Okay..." You giggled, walking over to it. You pulled yourself up onto it, sitting with your feet dangling off. "Lay back baby." Leon hummed out to you, his voice soft. You obliged, laying all the way on your back, your legs bent upwards on the table. You angled your head so you'd be able to watch him. He unbuttoned his black pants, allowing them to drop along with his underwear, revealing his hard cock.
You bit your lip with a giggle. You get so giddy seeing him this way, he's so sexy. "Don't look at me like that." Leon chuckled, placing both of his hands on each one of your knees. "I'll look at you however I'd like." "Oh? Is that so?" "Mhm." You cockily mumbled, placing your feet on his chest. Leon's large hands wrapped around your ankles, rubbing them lovingly as he stared you down. His eyes were lustful, darkness bursting in his iris's. "Look at you." Leon whispered, taking both of your socks off, setting them to the side. "What?" You sighed deeply, your cunt pulsing at his cooing tone.
Bringing one of your feet up to his face, he placed a kiss on the side of it, then on the other one. You weren't into all that feet stuff, neither was he, but Leon will and does kiss you absolutely everywhere. He set your feet back down. Leon's hands went towards your waist, holding onto it firmly as he quickly pulled you down the table, earning a surprised gasp from you. "A warning next time?" You scoffed. "No." Leon responded sternly, being playful with you, per usual.
His fingers trailed up to your panties, locking them into the waistband of them. "I'm so wet." "I know honey, so wet for me, hm?" Leon whispered seductively, never breaking eye contact with you as he pulled your cute white panties all the way off, taking them off of your ankles afterwards. You spread your legs widely for him, the entire view of your core at his service. It was like he was trying to make it not look obvious, but it was so clear he was gazing at you down there. "So beautiful." Leon complimented you, you were his wife after all.
Grabbing his erection, Leon jerked it a couple times, maintaining eye contact with you, only breaking it for a tiny bit to look down at himself. "You have me fucking pulsing." Leon grunted, wasting no time as he swiped his dick through your wetness. You moaned, staring up at him, his tip would stroke over your clit and make your center have an even bigger heartbeat, that's how it felt at least. "I love how I make you get." Leon continued. "All wet, needy, clingy... You're so pretty." Leon shared, kissing your knee again.
You nodded in reply, he was right, he does manage to make you feel all of those ways. "Yeah..." You muttered out.
Without zero warning, you felt him plunge into you with haste, his entire length being grasped around your warm heat. You felt your stomach twist and turn when he did this, it gained a whimper from you, a rowdy one. "Holy shit." You panted out, like a dog on a hot summer day. "Can't wait any longer." Leon cackled, his hands on your hips as he started his movements. Each thrust was life altering. It felt like you were in Heaven with what he was doing. His mouth was sort of open, you could hear his quiet gasps, you were making him feel a type of way too.
You held onto his wrists for stability as he fucked you, his thrusts were causing the entire table to shake, you didn't want it to break or something. "What if a worker hears us? Sees us?" "Well, they'll see a woman being fucked real good by her husband." Leon replied. Could he ever not be snarky? You rolled your eyes, looking to the side, your face contorting as you felt his member reach deeper inside of you. "Don't roll your eyes at me, doll." Leon stated, his hands still on your midriff.
You never looked back at him, your eyes were stained on the other side of the room. Not that you didn't wanna look at him, you just know it'll make you cum sooner, and even make him as well, and you really want to draw this out. His cock moved in and out of you repeatedly, he switched up the pace every other second. One moment he was fast & rough and the other he took it slow & deep. Both ways made your heart beat faster and faster each time.
"Why aren't you looking at me?" Leon groaned out, his left hand groping your tit through your shirt, squeezing it. You didn't answer, you couldn't, you knew if you tried speaking your speech would only be slurred. "Look at me." You didn't listen. You just held onto his arms with more strength, indicating you were going to lose yourself sooner or later.
Although, next thing you know, he stopped thrusting into you. This ticked you off but before you could get a damn word out, you felt the hand that was once on your breast, now pulling your face to face him. "I suggest you start listening." Leon brought himself down closer to you, his body over yours. You nodded your head leisurely, licking your lip, then biting it. His demands were music to your ears. His movements picked up again, but he forced you to look at him. Something about staring down at you as he made you feel certain ways was so convincing.
After a minute, he let go of your face, trusting you'll listen to him now. His hands rested on either side of your head, his dick still surging into your pretty pussy. You felt like there was an imaginary percentage bar of how long it'll take before your orgasm implodes on you, and with each pump, it fills that bar slowly yet surely. "Fucking hell you're so beautiful." Leon moaned, tucking his head into the crook of your neck, his breath could be felt there. "You're so handsome." You added, your hand going up to his hair, playing with it.
You had a feeling he was going to do it, but once he did, it made your core tighten even more than before. His teeth once again made their way into your neck, he bit down on it. "Leon..." You grunted out, your fingers flowing through his soft hair. His thrusts were more slow & deep now, as if he was getting tired or something. It was either that or he was trying savour this special time together. "I'm gonna cum soon." You admitted, your arms going around his head, holding him close to your body.
Leon didn't say a word, he just nibbled on your throat, kissing & licking it every so often. That sharp sting of his teeth was erotic, it made your stomach get closer and closer to granting you that ultimate pleasure - your climax. "Baby... Harder..." You begged, letting go of him and instead grasping the white table underneath you. Once more, hit nibbled your neck, then your slender shoulders, before his face pulled back, going to stare at you again. "Harder?" Leon questioned, his moments all the same. "Yes, please." You tittered, your body so heated up.
Your husband did what he does best - please you. He began to fuck you, it wasn't anything vanilla, no, this was hard. Each thrust was rougher and rougher. Your eyes looked up into his, you could feel that they were watery, you looked innocent, like a doe in front of headlights. Leon looked back at you, his eyes much different. They are loving, yes, but also sexual desire was all behind them, his eyebrows also added onto the darkness of his face. "Don't look at me like that." The man grunted, closing his eyes as he pumped into your tight center.
"No, no, look at me, Leon." You reached up, holding onto his face. Now it was his turn. Leon slowly opened his eyes again, much more coherent than you were earlier. "Yeah..." You murmured, your hands caressing his scruffy cheeks.
Coming onto you was your orgasm, your initial release. You could feel how close you were, each thrust only brought you more and more to the edge. With his dick twitching inside you, you knew he was close to cumming as well. Your stomach was providing you with that all familiar feeling - The feeling of ultimate pleasure. Each time he fucked into you, your breasts would bounce, now that he was going much harder, they didn't get a break. Both of Leon's hands held onto your tits, he continuously squeezed them, he was like a teenage boy with how he was about boobs.
Leon gandered back up from your breasts and back at you, he never realized you were still staring at him. This, oh, it sent him over the edge. Your water colored eyes were like a death trap for him ; In this case, a sexual trap. "Fuck, why do you do this to me..." He grunted as he pumped only a couple more times into your cunt, his seed filling you, you felt the warm liquid shoot inside. "Why would you look at me like that?" Leon moaned, moving into you with short, fast thrusts, wanting to get you finished too.
You didn't reply, instead you just pulled his face down to yours, pressing your lips to his. Leon breathed out against your face, kissing you back passionately. You held the back of his head & neck, relishing in this moment. "Oh I love you." You moaned. "I love you too babygirl." He grunted, his cock still deep inside of you. "Cum for me princess." Leon began, "Have your pussy tighten around me." He stated, his voice husk.
Your breath shuttered when he spoke like that. He was so hot, every word he spoke made you feel all sorts of ways. You couldn't help it, even though you wanted to. You kept your lips against his, your tongue intertwined with his as you suctioned his length inside of you. Your orgasm withdrew you from the real world, your eyes practically rolling in the back of your head, surprised you couldn't see your own damn brain. "That's what I like to see." Leon paused his movements, just admiring his wife as she came all around him.
Both of you just sat there, your body felt super limp, you could feel his cock was soft inside of you. Everytime you guy's finish making love, it's like this. It's like the two of you are at a loss for words. You were still wet, you definitely needed to clean yourself up. You looked around the room, analyzing it. There was a paper towel dispenser by the sink on the other side of the room. "Could you please grab me some of that." You asked your husband. "Sure thing." He sighed gently, pulling out of you and heading over there.
Leon snatched up a few pieces of the towel, bringing it over to you. He didn't hand you them, instead he cleaned you up himself. You just watched him, heaving softly whilst doing so. He was a great husband. "Thank you baby." "Course doll." Leon replied kissing your inner thigh before helping you get back on your feet. "I'm not wearing these." You giggled, setting your panties aside. "Give them to me." He held his hand out. You rolled your eyes playfully, giving him your soaked underwear.
Your eyes widened as he sniffed them, the scent wearing off of them drove him crazy. As he pulled his own pants back up, he tucked your panties into his pocket. "Don't move around to much, I don't need your ass or pussy being flashed to the world." Leon chuckled, adjusting your shirt, you nodded in reply. He was right. "Let's go finish whatever time we have left of the movie." Leon whispered to you, his hand on your cheek firmly as he kissed you once more before the both of you made way back.

Trailer Park Steve AU part 4
part 1 | part 2 | part 3
September
He doesn’t talk to the Munsons much. (Doesn’t talk to anyone, really, aside from his mom and Robin and that one older woman who keeps renting and returning Gone With The Wind as an excuse to leave her house.) He keeps his head down and his nose clean, doesn’t care to make friends with the neighbors; just wants to get by.
One day Eddie approaches their door, waving a gas bill that got mixed up in their mail, and Steve greets him pleasantly enough.
“Stab anyone today?”
“Eat glass, Harrington.”
So it goes.
Steve watches the world pass and the weather turn, lets the hours bleed into weeks and squeezes his eyes shut against the flashbacks when they threaten to overwhelm.
Things with his mom are weird.
They don’t really speak, preferring to shrug their way past each other with careful, tight-lipped nods, and his mom takes these pills the doctor gave her that keep her perfectly pleasant and calm. Silent. Physically present but not really here.
And he can’t imagine how it feels to be her: Florence Harrington, ripped from the comforts of the upper crust and left to rot in a tin can seven miles across town. She spends most of her time letting out weary little sighs as she swans from room to room, drifting like a shade on the banks of the River Styx. (He can make that reference now because Robin won’t shut up about mythology. “It’s so gay, Steve. The Greeks were literally so gay.”)
Anyway.
Shit’s weird with the kids, too. He still drives them around — lets them loiter at Family Video when it’s slow; hangs around when they need a ride to the arcade or the movies or the skating rink; and he’s still on the hook for ‘ice cream. for. life,’ so…
It’s just not the same.
Like. Not to be dramatic, but who the fuck is Steve Harrington without the house and the pool and the free-for-all fridge? Just some kid with a car and a bat and a punchable face. And he can barely afford to keep the car now, anyway, so pretty soon they won’t need him for that, either. They’ll learn to drive; they’ll get their own jobs. Maybe Lucas builds enough muscle to take over as the party tank.
Maybe it’s better if he shelfs himself now before they realize he’s become obsolete.
“Oh, my god, you’re being pathetic,” he groans to himself. His voice is muffled where he’s lying face down on the couch. Ridiculous behavior, because everything is fine; Steve is fine. In the grand scheme of things where there are monsters and melted corpses and all kinds of crazy, horrible shit?
Yeah.
He’s being obnoxious. It’s a lovely sunny Saturday afternoon with just the right Autumn breeze going — gentle but cool; long sleeve polo weather; his favorite kind — and he’s sitting inside throwing himself a pity party.
Fucking absurd.
…Five more minutes.
Just five more minutes, then he’s getting off this couch.
He gets to a minute and a half when he hears the crunch of tires against the gravel, the clanging of a little bell from the handlebar of a bike, and then:
“STEVE!!!”
And that’ll be Dustin, trying to bang the door off the hinges and piss off the whole park at the same time. Kid’s nothing if not a multitasker. Steve lets another aggrieved groan loose into the couch cushion.
His mom’s out with the car; the lights are all off. Maybe he can just play dead ‘til Dustin leaves? He loves the kid, he really does, but his left ear is full of static, and he just wants to fucking sleep. Or sulk. Or both.
“STEVEN CHRISTOPHER, I KNOW YOU’RE IN THERE.”
Jeeeeesus Christ. “Okay, chill,” Steve grumbles as he hauls himself upright and throws open the front door. His limbs feel like lead; there’s drool on his chin. “Wake the whole goddamn neighborhood, why don’t you?”
“It’s two in the afternoon.”
“Yeah, and half the people here work nights.”
“Oh-kayy,” Dustin drags out the word, “but you don’t.”
Ugh. Whatever. He’s not gonna be shamed by a toothless teenager for his depressing loser tendencies. “Did you need something?”
Steve scratches at his belly hair through his shirt, feels a muscle twinge in his shoulder and send a spark of nerve pain skittering up to the base of his skull.
Dustin either doesn’t notice or doesn’t care that Steve’s body is falling apart where he stands, because he just rolls his eyes and says, “Uh, yeah. I need to know why you’re avoiding everyone? Mom’s tried to invite you to dinner six times now.”
“I was working.”
“All six times?” Dustin glares. Steve feels a little pinned by it, feels guilt seeping through the cracks as he fidgets with his bad ear. This kid’s gonna be the scariest lawyer some day. “She’s worried.”
Goddammit.
Guilt squeezes hard behind his ribs; he knows Dustin uses his mom as a mouthpiece for the feelings he can’t express. “I’m fine,” he sighs, letting his eyes and voice go soft. “Honest.”
Dustin holds firm, gaze fierce and fists clenched. “Bullshit,” he insists.
“Man, don’t—”
“Bull. Shit.”
Suddenly, their impromptu interrogation gets interrupted by a crashing drum fill, a shriek of electric guitar as Munson’s van squeals into the lot. He’s blasting some melodramatic metal shit about wizards or whatever; Steve doesn’t know. He only knows that the skitter of nerve pain he felt is ramping up to a fullblown migraine now because this guy has to listen to his racket at full fucking volume, apparently, and isn’t this all just “fucking great.”

I can't stop thinking of Eddie as Cyrano de Bergerac.
He's in the drama club, he's known for his way with words, his ability to bring whole worlds to life with them. Few people know that he also writes poetry, poems about love and loss, society and justice, whatever comes to his mind. Many of them are about a mysterious person with gold-flecked eyes and autumn hair, constellations on his skin, and the sun in his heart.
Eddie guards his notebook full of poems like a dragon guards his hoard of gold. And yet.
And yet Susie Bowers finds it where it fell out of his pocket when that asshole Tommy Hagan pushed him against the lockers. She reads it and realizes how devastatingly beautiful Eddie's words are.
It makes her think… think about her crush on Steve Harrington, the fallen king who is still the most eligible bachelor at Hawkins High. Especially since he refuses to just take girls home to fuck them. No, he wants to date. He wants to fall in love. It's catnip for everyone, but at the same time so frustrating because no girl has managed to catch his eye yet.
Maybe this little notebook is her ticket to a relationship with Steve Harrington.
She approaches Eddie and shows him the notebook, pulling it out of his reach as he attempts to grab it. She offers him a deal: she won't spread copies of all his cute little writings all over the school, exposing his deepest secrets for everyone to see and ridicule. In exchange, Eddie will help her sweet-talk Steve Harrington.
Eddie agrees and writes love letters to the boy he's been in love with ever since he found him drunk and depressed on the side of the road after his girlfriend dumped him. He had taken him home, listened to him ramble on about what he had done wrong, why no one would want to love him, and then put Steve to bed and watched him sleep until morning to make sure he was okay.
He left before Steve woke up, and the next time they saw each other at school, Steve didn't even look at him. It had broken his heart and inspired most of his poems, because nothing inspires like heartbreak.
And now Eddie can tell Steve all the things he thinks and feels about him - just to make it seem like it's written by Susie.
It seems to work, because Steve replies to her letters. His replies are simpler, less lyrical, but just as earnest. His words are sweet, and he's funny and thoughtful.
He's everything Eddie knew he was going to be. And Susie couldn't care less, she just wants to go out with him, have him take her home, have everyone know that she's Steve Harrington's girlfriend.
They go out. After a dozen letters, he gives in and asks her out.
Eddie cries himself to sleep that night.
Someone knocks on his bedroom window. Confused and a bit nervous, because he doesn't have only friends in this town, far from it, he goes to open it.
And finds Steve Harrington standing right outside his window.
"What -"
"Did you mean them?" Steve asks and he can't tell from his tone what he's thinking.
"What?"
"Your letters, did you mean what you wrote or did you just write down what you thought I wanted to hear so I'd go out with Susie?"
His tone doesn't really change, but Eddie can see his eyes shining in the dim light coming from his bedroom. He looks upset, and Eddie wants to fix it, but he doesn't know what answer would do that.
So he chooses the truth. "Yes. I meant every single word I wrote in those letters."
"Then why didn't you send them under your own name?" When did Steve get so close? And why is the window sill digging into his stomach?
At Steve's question, Eddie can't help but laugh bitterly. "Did you look at me, Steve? I'm the town freak! A fuckup. Trailer trash. A small-time drug dealer who failed his senior year. Why would anybody - why would you want to get love letters from me?"
Steve nods, not saying a word as he turns and walks away. And okay, he deserves it, he guesses. Hanging his head in defeat, he shuffles away from the window and face plants on his bed, letting fresh tears fall from his eyes.
Until there's another knock, this time at his front door.
He's out of bed in record time, almost breaking his neck in his haste to get to the door. It can't be - it's impossible that this is -
Steve is standing on his front porch, looking devastatingly handsome in his light-washed Levi's and red sweater. His date outfit.
He walks up to him before Eddie can say anything and cups his cheek.
"I've been looking at you, Eddie. All I've done since the night you brought me home and listened to me and took care of me, I've been looking at you. Looking and waiting. Hoping. Wanting you to give me a sign, any sign, that it wasn't just chivalry that made you do this, but the fact that you cared. About me. But you never did."
"Steve," Eddie whispers, but Steve isn't finished.
"And then I get these letters, and all the words, they sound like you. I couldn't be sure, not until I read the line, 'You deserve someone who wants to love you, all of you, the good and the bad and everything in between. I want to be that person. I want to love you.' You're the only one I've ever said that to. I knew it had to be you."
"But why? Why go out with Susie?"
"Because I had to be absolutely sure that it wasn't Susie. And after ten minutes with her, I was. I drove around until I couldn't… I had to talk to you. To see if you mean it. If you want to love me."
Eddie kisses him.
There's nothing else on his mind but the need to finally kiss the boy he's been in love with for almost a year.
Steve kisses him back, soft, tender, then deeper, dirtier.
When they pull apart, both gasping, Eddie leans in closer because his next words are meant for him and Steve and no one else.
"I want to love you long after my body crumbles to dust and my soul finds yours in the afterlife. I want to love you as the ocean does the moon, forever bound, forever following its call, until the end of time."

this is pure stupid hell crack that took more time than it should’ve to finish BUT i’m ready 2 release it from my drafts <3 this is actually technically written partially w @corrodedcoughin in mind bcos i think u will mighty enjoy it! for cockney eddie!
It comes with the territory, the accents.
Drama kid or dungeon-master, either one could be credited with contributing heavily to his affinity for all of Eddie’s little voices.
There was the deep, low raspy one reserved for trolls in campaigns — and a nasally high one he used for goblins to pair. Wise wizards giving out crucial advice sometimes had a strong Scottish drawl to their words. And Dwarfs? Always English.
So, yeah, Eddie has a couple different accents in his different repertoire. Pulls them out as he needs — a regal tone when referring to Hawkin’s very own royalty or a buried Southern twang used when he’s in trouble with Wayne. The most common is a shoddy Cockney accent for when any conversation dips too far towards awkward or boring.
It's why it's not so surprising anymore when they just... slip out sometimes.
He's learned more now, when specifically not to do it (Mrs. Donnell had not found his plea for a re-sit, in a heavy Irish accent, endearing in the slightest). But with friends who know Eddie, they know the accents come along too.
Steve fucking loves them.
The first time one had taken over his voice, some New Yorker twang to carry a joke, Steve had laughed so hard he’d snorted. And god, had Eddie lit up at the noise— loved knowing that, deep down Steve Harrington had a delicious wonderful ugly laugh that he only showed to people he trusted.
Basically, it’s hardly news to Steve then, all of Eddie’s little voices.
But well, even Eddie didn’t expect… okay, the truth is he never expected to be in this situation at all.
It’s a Wednesday evening when it happens. Steve is over round the trailer like he is every Wednesday, keeping Eddie company while Wayne is out on the double night shift.
It originally had started out as ensuring wounds were checked and dressed properly — considering half of them had scaled up his back, where Eddie couldn’t reach — for the both of them. Then, when technically Eddie could manage the worst of his words, Steve was still coming around. Dustin’s insistence, he’d said.
Then it was… because Eddie asked Steve to come around, to stay a little longer.
So, Steve Harrington is in his kitchen and it’s a Wednesday ritual that they have together and that’s not even the weird part of the evening.
(And somehow, neither is the fact that Steve is, as of a few months ago, his boyfriend.)
Steve’s cooking. Something simmers low on the scarlet glowing hob, bubbling quietly and releasing aromas of spices that percolate into the Autumn evening air.
Eddie feels his stomach growl in its own twist of hunger as he follows his nose. With one hand still scrubbing a towel against his wet hair, he ambles down the hall, fresh out the shower, ready for love — be it the form of food or, he thinks giddily, kisses.
Steve’s not watching the food as Eddie enters, his eyes fixed somewhere across the room. There’s a crease between his eyebrows, an indication of his deep thought.
Eddie grins, approaching without any attempt of being sneaky, (Steve’s as good as comatose when he’s distracted as he’d found) and jabs his boyfriend’s calf with his toe.
“Thinking mighty hard there, Stevie. That’s dangerous.”
Steve jolts, snapping out of his thoughts. He straightens up automatically, then seems to recall the company he’s keeping, and relaxes back down.
He scowls affectionately at Eddie’s barefoot, still jabbing into his leg, and reaches out to flick it with his finger.
“Dickhead.”
Eddie’s faster. He dances away and laughs at the instinctual pout that forms on Steve’s lips.
“What ponders thy mind, hm?” Eddie drawls, a lilt of a Regency style accent in his voice. He sinks into one of the kitchen chairs and drops his task. The towel hangs over his neck, his damp curls resting against it.
Steve seems to jolt again at that, his shoulders rising for a moment. He spins, picking up the wooden spoon beside the stove to swirl the contents of their dinner around. Eddie admires him, broad shoulders and long back, ripe for his taking. Silently, he sighs dreamily on the inside.
“Just… what movie we’re gonna watch tonight.” Steve says unconvincingly. “I’m not doing another re-watch of the Fly.” He adds lamely, an attempt at his usual bitch.
Eddie lets him have it. With one final squeeze of the towel, trying to wring out all the droplets in his hair, Eddie abandons it on the chair as he stands. He waltzes forward, into Steve’s space, and hooks his chin over the other's shoulder.
“You know, that’s what you said last time.”
Steve side-eyes him, his eyes narrowing into a minuscule glare; bitch personified. Eddie grins. Then bats his eyelashes.
It makes Steve laugh, shrugging Eddie’s weight off politely as he gives their dinner another stir. There’s still this tenseness to his frame. Though, maybe it's one Eddie can only notice because he’s paying such close attention.
“Alrightttttt,” He pretends to relent dramatically, his hands coming up to give Steve’s shoulders a quick squeeze. “I’ll let you pick the movie tonight.”
He drops his hands back to his sides, smarmy grin already plastered on as Steve turns to face him, the wooden spoon placed down on the bench.
“Oh, you’ll let me, will you?” He gives this incredulous look, even if there is this playfulness toying at the corners at his lips.
“Uh huh,” Eddie affirms with a severe nod, then begins counting on his fingers as he lists off. “No badgering, wailing, complaining, of any sorts I—“
Suddenly, Steve’s reaching out, his deft hands reaching out to snag the waistband of Eddie’s pyjama pants. It supposed to be a smooth move he’s used countless times before; fingers looped through belt loops to pull a girl in for a kiss. It usually works like a charm.
Except, there’s no belt loops— and when Steve tucks his fingers beneath the waistband and tugs him forward, Eddie shrieks.
“Fucking christ, Steve!” He bats Steve’s hands back without thinking. Steve holds them up defensively.
“Sorry! I was just—”
“What are you doing sticking your hands in my pants?!”
“It was a move!” Steve insists, voice a little whiney. “God, you’re dramatic- I was trying to pull you closer, numb-nuts.”
“Oooh,” Eddie switches up in an instant, hands shooting out to grab Steve’s own. He pulls them forward and settles them on his own waist, shuffling in closer like he hadn’t just shrieked a minute earlier. “Continue.”
Steve chuckles, delight peeking through on his face. His hands, large and slender, curl around the skin of Eddie’s waist and Christ, he’s still not used to that. Eddie’s too focused on repressing his shiver to see the shadow of nervousness cross Steve’s face.
“I was actually thinkin’ about,” Steve starts lowly, eyes skirting off Eddie’s face, over his shoulder. His fingers tighten their grip. “How—”
He sucks in a breath, like drawing in courage, and meets Eddie’s gaze. “About how much I love you.”
There’s the smallest tremble to his voice, giving away the immense emotion behind the words.
And here’s the situation that Eddie never expected to be in, ever. His breath catches, his eyes widen — his heartstrings tangle and knot themselves as he soaks in Steve’s admittance. Love, love, love — he loves me.
His lips part, a raspy noise escaping as he tries to compute, tries to think of anything to say because the longer he stays silent, the more crushed Steve’s expression becomes. And then—
“Well, I luv ya too.”
The words fall out, thick in that godawful Cockney accent.
Steve's face doesn't change but Eddie's does, contorting in an amalgamation of pure cringe and panic as embarrassment crawls beneath his skin. He slaps his hand over his own mouth as if it can take back his awful reply to being told he's loved by Steve.
"I—" He starts, speaking through his fingers, except it still comes out in a funny accent. Eddie squeaks, his grip over his mouth tightening, brown eyes wide in his panic. Oh God, never in stupid silly life has his accents come back to bite him in the ass so magnificently.
"I'm so sorry," Eddie whispers-yells in his regular voice, finally dragging his hands off his face sluggishly. "Jesus H Christ, I didn't— that wasn't making fun of you, I— oh god, you know that happens when I'm nervous sometimes. Shit. Shit, I'm so sorry, Steve."
Steve hasn't moved, his hands still resting on the small of Eddie's waist. His expression is guarded, nothing betrayed. His dark eyes scan across Eddie's face and just before he speaks, the smallest glimmer of amusement glitters across his face.
"Well," Steve begins, heaving a faux large sigh. His hands squeeze comfortingly at Eddie's waist again. Eddie who is still frozen, still cursing himself internally, still echoing around the apparently true fact that Steve loves him— well, maybe not anymore with how awfully Eddie responded.
And then Steve opens his mouth and the most appalling attempt at some accent comes out. It makes his words all garbled and Steve's pink in the face, obviously embarrassed but trying to commit to some shoddy Scottish when he says, "Aye, that's al'right."
Eddie stares at him. Steve stares back.
The moment of silence is broken as laughter seizes him, a guffaw bursting from his lips and holy fuck, Eddie loves him so much. Steve laughs too, the two of them relaxing and sinking into one another. Eddie's hands, previously fluttering and unsure, find their natural place curled in underneath Steve's jaw and when he leans in, he's fighting off his laughter. His grin is unbearably wide, cheeks aching.
Steve's got this shine in his eye, his hands sliding further around to pull Eddie in closer, his pink lips quirked in delight. Eddie practically purrs, so close to kissing him but not quite closing the gap.
"Yep," He says, eyes bright as they bounce over Steve's face to drink in his boyfriend's love-soaked expression. He loves him. Steve loves him. Eddie sounds as lovesick as he feels when he whispers, "It's decided. I think you're it for me, Stevie-baby."
He presses forward, lets his mouth find their home in the curve of Steve's lips. It's warm like nothing he's ever felt before, softened by their gooey-grins of love. It's an in love kiss.
"Even if you're terrible at accents." He murmurs against Steve's mouth.
"Shut up."
Steve hisses, but he’s still grinning. The dinner bubbles behind them, still cooking away behind them. "Like I'm ever going to let you live that down."
Eddie finds he doesn't really mind all that much — God forbid his boyfriend ever remind him they're in love.
"Shut up," He still says, then sticks out his tongue, like he's ten years old. "You love me."
"I do." Steve admits easily, his fingertips dancing along the small of Eddie's back. Eddie has to tuck his bottom lip behind his teeth to restrain his wild grin.
"And I love you." He says, properly this time, jabbing his finger into Steve's chest — so there's no absolutely mistaking it.

Dad!Eddie Munson x Mom!Reader: Boy Moms
Tumblr media
Good morning Hawkins I decided to take a break from my fanfic for a minute and write this short little thing out because fuck it I want to write little mundane crap about Dad!Eddie. Also because you know this GIF is how the fuck Eddie's sitting watching the conversation happen when some deranged boy mom starts speaking. Let me just preface by saying before I get mobbed: There's nothing wrong with whatever gender a child is, but boy moms scare the shit out of me. Seek therapy.
Warnings: boy moms (gags), sexism
****
“Having a boy is just life changing. I’m sorry that you’ll never get to experience true love.”
The silence was so palpable that you could almost hear the comedic sound effect of the metaphorical record scratch in both of your brains as all thought stopped. Eddie had been in the middle of packing the diaper bag in the stroller while you were putting your four-month-old in the bassinette. The two of you had been politely trying to cut the brunch date short.
You immediately wondered if you misheard the woman in front of you.
Not quite slack jawed, just with wide eyes, you and your husband both leaned forward over the pristine white linen tablecloth of the café table. One of your “mom” friends - a woman by the name of April Laurentis - sat back across from the two of you and flounced, the magenta of her Avon lipstick bleeding into the cracks of her mouth. She was admittedly not the typical company you kept. Rather a desperate attempt to connect with other parents in Hawkins, and so far had been the only mother to agree to have brunch with an impoverished pair of fresh out of school metalhead parents who lived in a new doublewide with an uncle in Forest Hills Trailer Park.
“I’m sorry, what?” Eddie asked, blinking away the confusion in his face.
“You had a girl, and girl mothers just do not have the same bond as mother and son.” April said, flouncing her blown out curls dyed autumn barley.
She looked right at you and pointed a manicured finger.
“You won’t know true love until you have a son.”
You mouthed a soft ‘what the fuck’ under your breath, watching as Eddie leaned his elbow on the table. His wide brown eyes were fixated on the older woman before him; the corners of his mouth drooping in a grimace that made his smile lines transform into deep trenches on his face. His fist went to his mouth, as if trying to stop himself from speaking.
But of course, Eddie and his big mouth…
“So you’re saying that my wife…” Eddie had to really emphasize the ‘wife’ part, “Like… the first actual girlfriend I’ve ever had, since high school… I’m not her first true love?”
Eddie was a lot of firsts: first boyfriend, first true love, first sexual encounter, first baby daddy to your unwed eighteen-year-old self until Uncle Wayne paid fifty dollars for the marriage license at the Hawkins courthouse after Charlotte was born. Now hopefully, he was your first and last husband.
“Of course not!” April scoffed, “Because little Charlotte is YOUR first love, daughters are always their father’s first love… Your wife will never know true love until you give her a son.”
April dismissed this with a hand wave while her two-year-old started banging a spoon against her chair. You and Eddie just stood there, unable to comprehend the woman’s delusions of a particularly horrifyingly obsessive nature.
“… so you’re saying that your son, little Timmy over here…” you pointed.
“Tanner.”
“Right, Tanner… you’re equating Tanner here to romantic love…?” you asked, dreading the answer.
“It’s just different.” She argued, “You’ll never understand the bond I have with my baby boy. He’s my whole world!”
“And our daughter is what…?” Eddie asked, “A statue? A ghost? An object? What exactly are you trying to imply here? That my kid requires a penis for them to be counted as a valid member of the family to be loved? That’s a little medieval fiefdom of you, don’t you think?”
No sooner did the words leave his mouth, April began to go off on you even though you hadn’t even said anything, ranting about how you would never understand the deep bond that a mother and son shared because you hadn’t birthed one. Her spiel devolved into a delusional, impassionate speech about how you and Eddie would never understand: her heart was breaking just thinking of her baby boy loving another woman other than herself, and how she couldn’t imagine how Eddie’s mother must have felt when you ‘stole her son away from her’.
You had to lay your hand across Eddie’s chest to prevent him from turning over the table at that comment, and with one last hateful look, April gathered up her child and left the café, slamming a ten-dollar bill on her untouched plate of mixed greens.
For a long time, both you and Eddie just stared after her retreating form.
“… Am I on glue or did that really just happen?” you ventured after a while.
“No… that sure did just happen,” Eddie replied, “That was definitely a real conversation, and it was batshit crazy.”
“I won’t know real love, until I have a son.” You repeated, looking at your baby.
Charlotte had her fist in her mouth, gnawing away at her chubby little fingers with her gums.
“So like… the whole high school sweethearts meeting, falling for one another during a gig at The Hideout, having insane amounts of sex, popping out a kid, moving into the trailer park together, and getting married… That’s not love?” you asked.
“Apparently not.” Eddie responded to your rhetorical question, “I guess your husband is just some dude who occasionally contributes sperm, and the kid is the true love? Mark that down as fucking gross.”
“… okay so you totally picked up on the weird Oedipus vibes from her right?” you quickly asked.
Eddie, still horrified, nodded.
“Oh, hell yeah I did.” He said, “That was definitely Oedipus Complex... you didn’t hear the banjos?”
“I was hoping I had misheard.” You admitted, giving a full body shudder.
The two of you stood, put a few crumpled bills on the table and flagged down a waiter to collect the tab, then began the long, awkward walk to the Gaucho. Both of you were still downright horrified at the turn the conversation took, wondering what sins you committed to get to this point.
“Um… so… Definitely blacklist April as a potential mom friend.” You said, pulling down the visor on Charlotte’s bassinette to protect her from the sun.
“Most definitely blacklisted, I don’t want to know what kind of screwed up family life she’s had leading up to that delusion.” Eddie said, pushing the stroller along the sidewalk, “And I don’t want to expose Charlie to it either.”
“Oh she totally grew up overshadowed by her brothers.” You said immediately, “That’s textbook Freud. And she probably still has all those residual mommy issues, plus a hell of an Elektra Complex.”
“One hundred percent.” Eddie said, “Deep-seated mommy daddy issues, and from the sounds of the first love comment, a dead bedroom.”
“Jesus H.” you laughed, covering your mouth while Eddie let out a dark giggle, “Oh my god… that’s kind of terrible.”
“It’s true!” he argued, “You can’t sit here and tell me she has a great marriage with comments like that!”
“Yeah but that’s gross to say!” you argued back, still unable to help the uncomfortable laughter.
“Trust me,” Eddie laughed, “I guarantee you she was rotting with jealousy. Especially when at the beginning she made comments like ‘It must be so nice that your husband babysits your daughter for you’.”
You shook your head, wrapping your arm around Eddie’s as you both began laughing and making hideous gagging sounds every time either one of you brought up April’s weird son complex.
“See this…” you said, waving your hand in a circle, “This encounter we just had, this is why the aliens won’t talk to us.”
“Amen to that, baby.” Eddie shuddered, “They lock the fucking doors when they drive by us because of ‘boy’ mothers like April Fucking Laurentis.”

CW for body issues and negative thoughts surrounding weight gaining
Cold autumn air has fallen over Hawkins for the first time in months. Steve reaches into the back of his closet to find his favorite sweater, the dark red one that his grandmother made him when he was in his junior year. The wool still feels just as soft in his hands as it was last year.
He pulls it over his head, welcoming the warmth it immediately gives off around him, but it feels tighter than he remembers it being. He pulls and adjusts the fabric, then gives himself a critical look in the mirror, and - fuck. It must've shrunk somehow. He messed up his favorite sweater.
But... The last time he wore it, on that one cold night at the end of April, it still fit him perfectly. He remembers that night clearly: they were all sitting around a campfire in the trailer park for Wayne's birthday, and Eddie had kept looking at him like that sweater was causing all kinds of unholy thoughts - partly the reason why it's Steve's favorite.
The sweater can't possibly have shrunk lying unused in the back of his closet for months. It didn't shrink; Steve has grown.
Suddenly, he looks at himself in the mirror and sees a whole other person. He zeroes in on all kinds of details he had never paid much attention to before, and he wonders how he could've ever missed what was happening to him: his expanding belly, the fat that has gathered around his hips, his stretched-out thighs... His upper legs are looking more chubby than muscled now that he stopped swimming regularly, and his sweater is tight around his upper arms and too narrow over his belly, the imprint of his belly button clearly visible in the stretched-out fabric.
He has no idea for how long he has been staring at himself when the bedroom door opens and Eddie comes in, still roughly brushing a towel over his wet hair. He's wearing nothing but a pair of boxers. Again, Steve wonders how he could ever have missed the way his body changed, especially next to Eddie: Eddie, who has always been lean, on the verge of being scrawny, his ribs almost visible underneath his tattooed skin and not a single curve in sight.
Eddie freezes in his tracks when he notices Steve, his eyes hovering over the red sweater. Steve feels caught, exposed under Eddie's gaze. He must be coming to the same conclusion that Steve had reached a minute before: that Steve's best days are behind him. That he's getting fat and that his body will only deteriorate further from now on. That he stopped taking good care of himself. That he's only going to get uglier with age.
'Sorry,' he's quick to say when Eddie won't stop staring. He turns his body away from Eddie's gaze, and starts rummaging around in his closet to find something with a looser fit. 'I didn't realize it wouldn't fit anymore, I'm gonna get changed right away. I suppose the red isn't really your color, but you can have it if you want to, I'm sure it'll fit you perfectly.'
He feels hands grabbing the underside of the sweater from behind.
'No.'
'What?'
He turns around, facing Eddie again, who now fists his hands into the sides of the fabric instead.
'Don't you dare take this off. Only one person is allowed to do that from now on, and that person is me.' There's a look in Eddie's eyes that Steve only recognizes from very different settings, like when he used to get home after a run all sweaty, or when one of them sinks to his knees in front of the other.
'What is happening?' he mumbles under his breath.
'You, in this tight sweater?' Eddie's voice is low and breathy. 'You are a fucking dream, Steve Harrington.'
Steve takes a step backwards, but Eddie's hands stay plastered right where they are.
'Are you making a fool of me?'
Eddie frowns and he finally lets his grip on Steve's sweater go.
'Why would you think that?'
Steve huffs, needlessly gestures to his own body. 'I look ridiculous!' he points out, unable to keep the frustration out of his voice. 'It doesn't fit anymore, I let myself get fat, I'm getting old and ugly, I–'
With one step, Eddie is right in front of Steve again, shutting him up by placing his index finger against Steve's lips.
'Not another word,' he says. 'I don't want to hear you talk like that about yourself ever again. You got it all wrong, you know. I mean, don't get me wrong, you were already hella sexy in your jock days, but your soft pillow belly is, like, the closest one can get to heaven here on earth.'
It should be too much, it should sound insincere because of how dramatic it is - but Steve is used to Eddie's dramatics and he can see that Eddie is being one hundred percent serious right now.
'You are the sexiest man I know, and every pound you've gained is a beautiful one. You are gorgeous, Steve – and you will keep being gorgeous and sexy in every shape you'll get.' His hands are roaming over Steve's sweater again, comforting and hungry at the same time. 'I do have to ask you not to wear this sweater outside of our house, though. It'll cause riots. People might die because of it.'
He looks dead serious saying it, and Steve can't help but laugh before he tugs Eddie closer and presses their lips together.

Baby, it's cold outside
@nburkhardt, you asked for a cute introspective fic, I hope this fits! I hope everyone likes it and please leave your thoughts in the comments!
~*~*~*~
Eddie Munson had always hated winter. He hated snow, sleet, frost, and hail. Unfortunately for him, that's all there was in Indiana between late November to early March. The nights grew darker, the trailer was always slightly too cold, and his loneliness seemed exacerbated. Unlike the peacefulness and solitude that he felt in autumn, empty nights in the trailer’s living room while Wayne was at work only served to make him feel alone… burdensome.
It wasn’t like he could cry to his uncle about feeling lonely when he’d been pulling double shifts at the plant practically since Eddie had moved in with him. He couldn’t complain to his bandmates that hardly put up with him enough to call them friends. And it wasn’t like he had anyone else in the town that cared about him even remotely.
Most of all though, Eddie hated how the winter reflected the frigidity of the town. He knew they hated him year-round but it seemed so much more prominent in the cold. Their malicious laughter when he slipped on ice, the hardly-visible sneers from underneath scarves, and cruel words seemed harsher.
One winter day though, everything changed for Eddie. He’d chosen that day to avoid the stifling isolation at his trailer. Winter had only just begun but its effects were already visible. Eddie’s pale skin looked paler, the bags under his eyes were heavier, and the tip of his nose was almost permanently red. The weather was dreadful, softly snowing with the flakes sticking to the ground. Still, he had to leave the trailer park to keep his sanity, weather be damned. He sat on a low hanging swing at the elementary school playground, snowflakes stuck to his hair and a blunt between his lips. He was still alone but it wasn’t so unbearable out in the open.
“Hey, uh. Mind if I join you?”
A sudden voice took away Eddie’s peace and he flailed like a cat electrocuted before he was able to regain his bearings and grip the swing chains with a vice grip. He choked on the smoke of his blunt and looked through leaking eyes up at the cause of his shock.
“The fuck?” He hacked while trying to determine who’d bothered him.
“I’m sorry man, I really didn’t mean to scare you. I just… you looked lonely and I’m kinda lonely too so I thought we might as well be less lonely together,” the stranger’s voice seemed genuinely apologetic and it pulled the strings in Eddie’s heart. As soon as his vision cleared though, his system was flushed with ice.
“Harrington? What the fuck are you even doing here? You come all the way over here to pick on little ole me? Pathetic. Where are your cronies, hiding behind the bushes waiting for your signal so you all can jump me? Fuck you,” Eddie snarled before trying to get up from his place. He stopped only once Harrington’s hands landed on his shoulders and pushed him back down.
Harrington looked gutted, “no man, I’m alone. I was just… trying to get out of the house when I saw you here. I’m sorry for bothering you, I’ll uh. I’ll see you around, Munson.”
Despite his words, he stayed still for a moment longer, eyes focused directly on Eddie’s. Upon closer inspection, he didn’t appear to be the King Steve he always was at school. He wasn’t confident here. His posture was slumped, his mouth was twisted in a grimace, and his perfect hair looked like he’d tried to pull it out himself. Most notably though were the angry bruises on his cheekbone and along his jaw. Eddie had seen more than enough abuse in his life and the aftermath left it like a scar. Hell, he saw it every day in the mirror.
He couldn’t let Steve leave with this revelation. It seemed that the King and the Freak had more in common than they’d ever known. With a sigh, he pulled a fresh blunt out of his leather jacket pocket and handed it to Steve.
“Here man, I could use the company. And I’m not sure I could finish this one alone.”
Steve’s grimace fell to reveal the most breathtaking smile Eddie had ever seen. “I’m sure you could Munson, but I’ll stick around. Thanks!”
They sat on the swings in the snow for what seemed like hours. They talked, they laughed, they sat in comfortable silence at times. When their hands got too frozen and their faces flushed, they stood awkwardly as if neither one wanted the night to end.
“So uh, you want to come back to my place? It’s closer and I have hot chocolate,” Eddie muttered, his fingers twisting his rings in anxiety. He didn’t know what the fuck was happening here but he knew he didn’t want it to end.
Steve ducked his head to hide a grin, but accepted nonetheless. “Lead the way, Munson.”
They spent the remainder of the night drinking hot cocoa, cuddling in Eddie’s small twin bed, and sleeping off what was a great night for them both. When they woke up, things weren’t awkward or stilted, it felt like they were just as they should be. Thus in the winter of 1983, King Steve and Eddie “the Freak” Munson became friends in the public eye. It caused quite the stir around both the school and the town alike but it didn’t bother them. And in the safety and privacy of their homes, they became more. They became more than strangers or friends and instead evolved directly into boyfriends that held hands, space heaters for each other in the cold of the trailer, and partners that they could each depend on.
After what started off as a dreary night alone in an empty playground, Eddie’s life changed for the better. From that day forward, his hatred of the winter faded into a feeling of gratitude. The cold weather had guided two lost and lonely souls toward each other. After that, seeing snow or frost, or sleet always reminded Eddie of the day that he and Steve became each other’s person. They would never be alone again as long as they had each other.

Day four: Making caramel apples. (failed cook Natalie at your service). This is very short and simple 'cause I didn't have that much motivation to write today; sorry about this, and I hope you enjoy!
Nat was always a mysterious girl. Even before your relastionship, she always strucked you as the kind of person who never is totally herself, who is always somewhat introverted and has trouble opening up to people.
And for a while, she was like that. She had been very wary near you, never spilling anything more than you needed to know.
But then, she slowly started to open up with you. She will tell you more about her past, give you random gifts out of the blue and take you long, romantic dates.
As autumn approaches, you decide to bake something sweet to eat with her. But you don't have eggs, flour or chocolate chips to make cookies. But you can make caramel apples. Yes, it'll do. You've never made any, but hope that they'll turn out good. You hear rustling and see Natalie walking into the kitchen, her face hidden under a heavy blanket that falls over her shoulders, making her look like a home made ghost. "What are you doing?" she asks, looking at you, "Caramel apples. Wanna help me?". "...Oh fuck yes". Now, when you said that, you didn't expect her to bolt out from under the blanket and skip over to you, like a magnet.
Cooking with Natalie can be... interesting.
Cut her some slack, she has never been able to cook anything more than grilled cheese sandwiches in that trailer her parents called a home, and certanly has never done so with a partner.
This gives her the occasion to explore passions she never knew she had. She puts on the first apron she finds and stands next to you, waiting for your instructions.
"Ok haha, so...after cooling the apples let's put all the ingredients togheter" you start by adding butter, sugar and spices togheter. "Take it over, Nat" you say to her while searching for a baking tray to put the apples on.
With the maestry of a newborn hamster, Natalie all the heavy cream in the mixture.
You have to pray all the gods ever known to give you the strenght of not getting mad at her. "Are you mad at me?" she asks you, blown pupils looking at you. "I. Am not. Mad" you say while trying to salvage what you can.
"Ok so now you gotta dip the apples in. Do not-" you grab her cheeks and push your face into hers, nose to nose, "for the love of God. Take long. Dip them, let the excess caramel fall back in. The. Pan. And then, place them on the tray".
Natalie hold the apple above the pot, then dips it inside the caramel and scoops it out and sets it on the tray. She repearts this process two other times, then notices the liquid is far less than before. When she realizes her mistake, she hisses, prompting you to slowly turn towards her and ask, "What. Have. You done?"
The apples are completley covered by golden caramel, the excess liquid falling over them and creating pools that are quickly cooling off. They almost look gross.
Instead of begin angry, you find yourself laughing. You don't know if you are having genuine fun or if it's pure desperation.
"And a-now, all you need to do is making a blob with the caramello!" you don't even know what's going on anymore. Are you really here? Is this really happening?
Natalie is holding a big spoon in her hand, standing on the chair with her left leg propped up the table, all the while wearing a chef hat. At one point she even draw some Dalì looking mustache on her upper lip. She's letting the caramel fall from the spoon into the last space left on tha baking tray, super focused on trying to not make a mess.
"Now, we a-wait!" she says, wobbling a bit on the chair.
"Natalie, please get down before you- Oh my god!" of courrse, she looses balance and falls, spraining her ankle.
That was fun to explain at the hospital.

after skinny dipping at a lover’s lake alone, eddie is shocked to see someone else was there all along (reader) 🫶🏻
thank u for requesting anon! this prompt literally drove me insane! (in a good way)! — eddie falls in love with the weirdest stranger he's ever met in his life (wednesdayaddams!reader-esque, mentions of being naked, 18+ | 1.2k)
The edge of Lover’s Lake sits right outside Eddie’s trailer, partially visible through a thin treeline of bright orange oaks. He stumbles through it on graceless, lanky legs — high out of his mind, which is filled now with racing thoughts of boyish rage.
He’s failing English (again), for one. For another, Corroded Coffin’s been bumped to Tuesday night shows instead of Friday nights (a death sentence if he ever saw one). And ever since then, Wayne’s been on his ass about working with him at the car shop (‘cause moonlight as a rockstar isn’t a real job, apparently.)
Eddie gets angrier the more he thinks about it — which is perpetually and without mercy. It makes his pale skin feel red hot, boiling to the touch, practically repelling every wisp of autumn breeze that threatens to cool him down. He wonders, briefly, if it could be the weed fucking with him. ‘Cause everything else has been today.
He stands on the grassy bank of the moonlit lake and strips off his clothes to find out. He stumbles trying to get his pants off, right after his chin gets stuck in the neck of his t-shirt. He doesn’t think to check if anyone’s around until he’s left only in his thin, navy plaid boxers.
“Free show?” a feminine, unfamiliar voice calls from the center of the pitch-black lake.
Eddie practically jumps out of his buzzing skin. His heart lurches into his throat as his palms hurry to cover his still-clothed crotch. “Shit!” he shouts, voice echoing over the empty clearing.
You don’t flinch at the volume of the voice. He can’t even tell if you’re blinking from here. You just remain in the middle of the rippling, silver water, only visible from the tops of your bare collarbones.
Eddie swallows hard, adam’s apple bobbing, and tries to catch his breath. “Sorry. I— I didn’t know anyone else was out here…”
“Don’t stop on my account,” you tell him, flirtatious words that sound strangely deadpan falling from your lips. “Lover’s Lake is big enough for the both of us.”
Eddie squints into the darkness, dark eyes flitting across the water. “You’re alone?” he concludes after a few moments.
“Usually…” you hum, lifting a naked shoulder in a lazy shrug. “…Are you?”
“Usually.”
“Want some company?” you offer, still strikingly monotoned. The strange boy with the wild hair and pale legs stammers for a response. You tilt your chin to your chest and look cautiously at him through your lashes. “…Or should I go?”
“No!” Eddie blurts, then clears his throat with a red face. Quieter, he adds, “No, it’s not that. You don’t have to go.”
A smile quirks at the edges of your lips. So faint Eddie can hardly tell it’s there. But still, it sparkles in your eyes like the moonlight does. “Just act like I’m not here,” you lilt, disappearing back into the water before Eddie can blink.
He’s not so sure how possible that is, but he gets into the water with you, anyway.
The fall season has turned the lake into silk. It’s cool and soft against his burning skin as he slowly submerges himself within its void. Eddie’s wide, attentive eyes never leave the water as he searches for your body beneath it. He follows the faint, silver ripples until they disappear completely — until he starts to worry if you’ll ever come back up again — until he starts to convince himself you were never there at all.
There’s a loud and sudden splash before him. He blinks, and your face is inches away from his own. An almost uncomfortable proximity between two strangers. “Jesus!” Eddie blurts, flailing awkwardly in fear.
“Did I scare you?” you squint, like it wasn’t totally obvious.
The boy exhales a wavering breath. “Yeah… Yeah, a little bit.”
“Sorry. Won’t happen again,” you promise with a faint smirk that tells him otherwise, as you swim slightly back from the boy ahead of you. The dark waves rise and valley at your bare chest. Eddie’s boyish mind immediately wonders exactly how bare you are underneath them.
“Actually, it might,” you continue. “But it’ll be an accident… Probably.”
Eddie struggles to tell if you’re joking or not — if you’re playing games with him, or if you’re just too aloof to know what you’re doing to him.
“You’re a strange… strange person,” he tells you, a half-compliment and a half-something-else, as the words tumble from his lips before he can think about them. His chocolate eyes narrow into thin slits at you. “Did you know that?”
The question’s mostly rhetorical, but you nod rapidly in response anyway.
“It’s ‘cause I’m not a person,” you confess, eyes wide and glittering with sincerity. “I’m a mermaid trapped in human form.”
“Aren’t mermaids already half-human?”
A contented noise sounds in your throat.
“Hm… Guess I’m already halfway there, then.”
Eddie forgets to respond, and the conversation lulls. It makes the rest of the world seem terribly loud. Wind whistles through trees. Frogs croak in the tall grass. Water sloshes softly around your bodies. He gets lost in the serenity surrounding him and drowns in the chaos in your eyes.
“You have a staring problem,” you blurt. “Did you know that?”
The boy blinks rapidly to clear the haze from his glazed-over eyes. “Sorry. Sorry, I’m just—” Eddie clears his throat and shakes his head, hair damp at the edges and sticking to his freckled shoulders. “I’m just trying to figure out if you’re real, or if I just… made you up in my head or something?”
Something about that seems to please you.
A mischievous smirk pulls slowly at the edges of your mouth — into a smile brighter than Eddie thought you were capable of. You float towards him with little effort, like two distant planets now threatening to collide. He doesn’t realize how close you are until your breath fans warm across his jaw.
“How’s this for real?” you hum quietly, leaning in like you plan to kiss him.
Eddie’s stunned still. He forgets how to breathe as his heavy eyes fall to your lips. He moves closer to you on instinct, mouth gravitating to yours despite himself — like you’re some kinda siren controlling his mind with a song he’s too far gone to hear.
Through the mist in his vision, he watches your mouth curl into a cheeky half-smirk. You look on at him, at this puddle of a boy, like you’ve got him in the palm of your hand.
“You are a strange… strange boy, Eddie Munson,” you hum quietly.
Eddie shakes his head as he descends (face-plants, more like) back into reality. The water ripples faintly around you as you swim away from him. He stammers for words while you head back towards the bank. “Wait— How— How do you know my name?” the boy gapes.
Your body ascends from the silver lake, naked as the day you were born, and shining beneath the full moon.
Water drips from your skin like diamonds as you crouch to grab your clothes, lying in a discarded pile beside the dock. The sight of your bare ass would make Eddie implode if he wasn’t already reeling.
“Sorry!” you call to him over your shoulder, with your all-black clothes balled at your chest. “Can’t hear you all the way over there!”
You never cease your stride back towards the pitch-black treeline. Eddie shouts at the back of you anyway, “How do you know my name?!”
He never gets an answer.

Steve x bi!fem!reader
word count: 6k
CW: mention of reader and Steve’s rough home lives
summary: you and Steve go on your “first date” and you both definitely don’t want it to be real
part one part three part four part five part six part seven part eight
Part Two: Lesson One
You stood in your closet, looking for something to wear on your date with Steve. Eddie had insisted on helping you which actually meant lying on your bed, reading one of your fashion magazines. He occasionally gave his input, barely even giving you a second glance, favoring the magazine over your outfit crisis.
You were nervous even though you didn’t want to admit it. Thinking about going on a date with Steve made you feel ill. Even though he had told you that it was low stakes, you still felt like there was a lot of riding on it. It was your first date and it had to be perfect.
“Do you think I’m a summer or an autumn?” Eddie asked as he flipped through the pages of the magazine. You turned around to face him, still in your underwear, putting your hands on your hips.
“Neither, you’re a winter,” you replied. “Now either you help me or go home.”
“Jesus, l/n, it’s just Harrington.” Eddie rose from the bed, throwing the magazine to the side. He went to stand in front of you, resting his hands on your shoulders. “You really need to relax.”
“We both know that I’m unable to do that.”
“Let’s take some deep breaths, alright?” He took a deep breath in and you mimicked him.
“Now let it out.” You breathed out slowly and Eddie smiled, satisfied with the results. You did feel a bit better, but not much.
“Okay,” he clapped his hands together then turned to your closet. “Let me see what we’ve got going on.” He went through the rack that your clothes were on, shaking his head at each item. He got close to the end and pulled out a dark blue dress that you had completely forgotten that you had. Leave it to Eddie to find the exact right outfit for you. He always seemed to have the magic touch.
“Where the fuck did that come from?” You gasped, taking the thing from him.
“I think Robin got it for you for your birthday or something.”
“That’s right,” you nodded at the memory, suddenly remembering pulling it out of the pink gift bag it had been in only to throw it in your closet, deciding that you had nowhere to wear it.
You threw the dress on and stepped back so Eddie could see you. He gave a nod of approval as you pulled the bottom down so it would cover more of your legs.
You had never done this before. You hadn’t hung out with anyone outside of a sexual encounter. It wasn’t like you didn’t want to, but more like no one had invited you to do so when you were a child. So when people actually expressed interest in you emotionally, you didn’t think it was genuine.
You weren’t popular as a kid. An outcast because your parents didn’t have much money. So while the other girls in your grade were over at Cindy Gardener’s house, you were home by yourself while your parents were at work. You had seen the invitations go out and were excited to actually go somewhere besides your home, only to find that you were the only girl in the class who hadn’t received an envelope.
They all thought you were too poor because you lived in the trailer park. They all laughed at you for bringing your lunch in a paper bag as opposed to the metal lunch boxes that displayed the cartoon characters of the shows you all watched.
They laughed at your cheap clothes and how unbrushed your hair was. Your parents were never around so you were forced to do your own hair and get yourself dressed in the only clothes they could afford.
Perhaps that was why you were so afraid to get close to people. Because you were always the butt of everyone’s joke so you thought that anyone trying to get close to you was just their way of making fun of you. Eddie was the only one you could trust since he had actually shown you how much he had cared for you.
“Damn,” Eddie let out a whistle as his eyes trailed down your body. “I hope Harrington knows how to fight.” You let out a laugh at that.
“Oh, shut up.” You smacked him on the shoulder and he just laughed.
“Seriously, sweetheart. You look fucking amazing.” It wasn’t unusual for Eddie to compliment you, but the way he was looking at you made you think that he wanted to take the dress off and have his way with you.
“Stop,” you whined and he just smiled. Even after all these years, you were still unsure of how to take a compliment.
“Don’t believe me? See for yourself, babe,” he rested his hands on your shoulders and pushed you over to your full length mirror. You looked at your reflection and had to admit that you did look hot. The dress clung to your body in all the right places and it showed just the right amount of cleavage. You were going to have to thank Robin the next time you saw her.
“I look-“ you cut yourself off, trying to find the right words.
“Hot,” Eddie finished. “Fucking hot.”
“Thanks, Eds.”
“You deserve this, y/n.” His hands moved down to your forearms, giving them a gentle, reassuring squeeze.
“I know,” you nodded.
“You deserve someone who’s nice to you,” he gave your shoulders a shake so the words would actually sink in this time.
“I know, Eddie.” He had said those exact words to you so many times but you somehow believed it that time.
“Good,” he nodded. “And if he hurts you, you just let me know and I’ll kick his ass.” You laughed again, imagining Eddie kicking anyone’s ass.
“Noted.”
“Alright, now get out of here. I’ve got Callie, okay? Let me know if I need to stay the night,” he winked and you pretended to throw up.
He had insisted on watching her for the night, assuring you that she would get fed dinner and go to bed a decent hour. You both knew that the promise of a normal bedtime was a load of shit. Callie had Eddie wrapped around her little finger and he would have let her stay up all night if she had asked.
“This isn’t a real date.”
“But it could be.”
“Thanks, Eddie,” you pulled him into a hug before pressing a kiss to his cheek.
“Of course. Now go get him,” he handed you your purse then gave your ass a light tap. You threw on your shoes and headed out the door to your car.
You pulled up to the address that Steve had given to you over the phone and could see why he had suggested that you have your date there. It was one of the nicest houses you had ever seen and you wondered what Steve’s parents had done for a living.
You reluctantly got out of the car and headed to the door. You knocked a few times and it took no time for it to swing open, Steve on the other side. His mouth dropped open, but his lips quickly turned up into a wide smile.
“Wow, you-“ he cut himself off, clearing his throat. “You look amazing.” You eyed his outfit which consisted of a red button up shirt that was tucked into a pair of black slacks.
“Thanks,” you smiled. “You don’t look too bad yourself, Harrington.”
He let you inside and you looked around and wondered what it would have been like to live in a place that big. You could have fit your entire trailer inside it.
The house was quiet as opposed to yours. It was nice to be somewhere you could actually think. Somewhere you didn’t have to tiptoe around just to get from place to place because you were afraid of being pulled into an argument to take sides.
Steve couldn’t believe it. The hottest girl in Hawkins was going to spend her Saturday night with him when she could have been doing literally anything else. He was going to take that as a compliment, the whole thing giving his ego a much needed boost.
You had wanted to leave as soon as Steve let you in, but you felt bad thinking about disappointing him. He had spent so much time making you dinner so you weren’t going to ruin his night by going home. Besides, Eddie was your babysitter for the night and who were you to not take advantage of that?
“Can I get you a drink? I’ve got soda and some beer in the fridge.” You almost asked for a beer so help settle your nerves but decided against it. You don’t know Steve well enough to drink around him, afraid that you’d reveal your secrets after too many drinks. You didn’t need to embarrass yourself around him.
“Sure, I’ll take a soda.” Steve led you into the kitchen and pulled open the refrigerator that didn’t seem to be as stocked as you thought it would have been. All that had been in there was a pizza, some vegetables in the crisper, a six pack of beer and two six packs of grape and orange sodas.
“Orange or grape?” Neither flavor sounded appealing to you but you felt rude for suddenly deciding you didn’t want a drink.
“Grape.” He pulled one of the sodas from the plastic holding them together and held it out to you. You took it, your fingers brushing as you did so. Just from the short touch, you could tell that his hands were soft and warm.
You opened the can and took a sip while Steve led you to the kitchen table. It was set with two glass plates with a cloth napkin aside each one with the silverware on each side of the plate.
There was also a candle in the middle of the table that was lit. It was a simple setup, but you liked that Steve had done it all for you. Even though everything was fake, you still appreciated the effort he had put in for you.
“So, I’ve split the whole thing up into multiple parts and tonight, we’re focusing on conversation.”
He held out your chair for you and took a seat while he moved to the counter to grab two bowls. One was filled with spaghetti and the other was filled with a salad. He set them on the table then sat down across from you.
“Conversation?” You tilted your head to the side and Steve thought it was adorable.
He handed over a pair of tongs and you served yourself. You hadn’t had a home cooked meal ever. All of your meals consisted of either toast or tv dinners since you didn’t really have the extra money or time to make them from scratch.
“Yep,” he nodded. “Just talking. That’s arguably the most important part.”
“Right,” you nodded. You supposed he was right. The conversation did seem to be a big part of every date you’d seen at the diner or on TV. But you sucked a small talk. Hated it, even. Most of it just ended up being people having a conversation that seemed forced that nobody participating actually gave a fuck about what was being said.
You took a bite of the spaghetti and couldn’t help but think that it was the best thing you had ever eaten. Not that you had much to compare it to. You held back a moan how good it was, trying your best to eat in silence.
You could see that Steve was looking at you and you turned to him, giving him a smile which he returned. You liked that someone was being nice to you just because they wanted to and not for anything in return.
You turned away, not wanting him to see the pink tint on your cheeks. You couldn’t let him know what you were thinking about. You had to keep your cool and seem nonchalant.
“This is really good.”
“Thank you. It’s uh, it’s my mom’s recipe.” Steve couldn’t remember the last time he had spaghetti since his mother didn’t seem to want to cook for him anymore. Now his meals consisted of pizza or food from the diner.
“That’s nice. You’ll have to thank her for me.” He’d thank her…if she was ever around. She was usually out doing god knows what. It wasn’t like Steve cared anyway. As long as she wasn’t home, he was happy. That way he wouldn’t have to listen to her or his father tell him that he was wasting his life away working at Family Video when he could be working with them. That was the thing. Steve didn’t want to work with them. He was perfectly fine where he was in his life and he wasn’t going to let anyone, not even his parents, take that away from him.
“Thanks,” you nodded. “So, uh, how do we do this?” What-oh right, this wasn’t a real date. He was just helping you and had completely forgotten until you had brought it up.
“Well,” he cleared his throat, shuffling in his seat. “I know it sounds like common sense, but just be yourself. Don’t overcomplicate it.”
“Right,” you nodded, taking a sip from your soda. “What do I do if it sucks?” That was the main question that had been on your mind the entire night.
“Well, first of all, I should let you know that most of them are going to suck.” That was not what you had wanted to hear. That was actually a deterrent to wanting to date anyone. “But you just roll with it,” he shrugged. “It’s just one night and you’ll get through it.”
“Most of them are going to suck?” Your eyebrows furrowed and Steve could see the gears turning in your head. This was the one night where he didn’t want you to worry.
“Yep,” he took a sip from his can. “But only like half of the time.”
“Oh,” you nodded, becoming even more confused as to why Steve had gone on so many dates if they were as bad as he was letting on.
“And now you’re scared, aren’t you?” He let out a chuckle and went to reach for your hand, but pulled it away once he realized what he was doing. Little did he know that you had actually wanted him to touch you. You were itching to hold his hand seeing it resting on the table.
“What?” You scoffed. “No.” Yes, yes you were. Terrified, actually.
“You don’t have to be. Sometimes dates are just bad. It’s how it is.”
“But you’ve been on what, a thousand dates? It always seems so easy for you, bad or not.” It wasn’t easy now. He was sweating bullets because he was so nervous. He decided that if you asked, he would lie and say he was just warm. He’d have been so embarrassed if you found out that you were making him nervous.
“Not always,” he leaned closer to you, lowering his voice to barely above a whisper. “Can I tell you a secret?”
“Sure.”
“I’m always nervous.” You didn’t think that “Steve” and “nervous” belonged in the same sentence. He was always so cool and confident. Except when he was around you, of course.
“You’re just trying to make me feel better.” You pushed your food around your plate before taking another bite.
“I’m being honest, I swear,” he put his hands up in defense.
“Fine,” you grumbled. “I guess I believe you.”
He chuckled at that and the both of you went back to eating in silence, the only thing that could be heard was the sound of your forks clinking against your plates.
You looked up at him as you ate and gave him a warm smile when his eyes locked on yours. He smiled back, the light from the kitchen making his eyes look like honey. You had always thought they were pretty, but seeing them in the light really solidified it for you. They were even prettier than Eddie’s, which you didn’t think was possible.
Your eyes roamed over his features and stopped once they got to his moles. Those were probably your favorite features of his. You always liked those kinds of things on people, liking that it made them unique. Your cheeks got hot as you found yourself wanting to press a kiss to each one, telling him how pretty you thought they were.
You had never thought about Steve in that manner. He had been deemed off limits, but seeing him sitting there, looking so fucking pretty, your mind was wondering what exactly it would have been like to sleep with him. If he would’ve been gentle or if he would have fucked you so roughly that you wouldn’t have been able to walk afterwards.
“Do you want to do a practice run?” He asked, wiping his face with his napkin. You desperately needed a distraction from your thoughts.
“Uh, sure,” you nodded, unsure of what he could have possibly wanted to know about you. You thought you were pretty boring in comparison to his other dates.
“I’m just gonna ask you some basic questions. Pretend like I know nothing about you, alright?”
“So, do you have any siblings?” That question seemed easy enough. Maybe it wouldn’t have been as difficult as you thought.
“I have a little sister named Callie.”
“That’s cool,” he nodded “How old is she?”
“Seven. What about you? Any siblings.” You already knew that Steve didn’t have any, but you just wanted to commit to your role.
“Nope,” he shook his head. “Only child, unfortunately.”
“Do you ever get lonely?” You knew the question seemed invasive, but it was falling from your lips before you could stop it.
“Sometimes, yeah,” he admitted. “But I have friends to help with that.” You knew he mostly meant Robin. The two of them seemed to be very close. Like platonic soulmates.
“Right,” you nodded. “What are your parents like?”
“Oh, um.” Well, that wasn’t the right question. You had barely even had a conversation and you had already fucked it up.
“Sorry,” you winced. “Was that too personal?”
“No, no,” he assured you. “I just-they’re never around.”
“Well, that’s something we have in common. Mine are never around either.”
You and Steve seemed to have more in common than you had originally thought. Being from opposite sides of town and his family having more money than you’d ever see in your life, you didn’t think that you’d have anything to bond over. His family always seemed so perfect when you had heard people talk about them, but clearly that had all been an act.
Steve appreciated that you felt like you could be honest with him, especially about something so personal. He didn’t think he’d ever find out anything about you since you seemed to be so private. Clearly you had a lot of trauma so he didn’t blame you at all for keeping your life a secret.
Steve however, had been an open book. You could have asked him anything and he would have told you. That is, except his crush on you. That he kept a secret to prevent himself from being humiliated. As far as he was concerned, he would take that shit to the grave.
“Are you and Callie close?” He wanted to avoid talking any more about your parents and settled for a safe topic.
“Very,” you nodded and Steve just smiled. He liked seeing your face light up when you talked about your sister.
“I can tell you really love her.” You loved Callie more than anyone in the world and you didn’t think that would ever change.
“I really do. She’s my best friend.” And you were hers. She has told you so every night in a sleepy whisper. It warmed your heart every time to hear the words coming from her little voice.
“Is she anything like you?” Callie was just like you as far as personality went. You had raised her to take no shit from anyone and that the only opinion about her that mattered was her own.
“What’s that supposed to mean, Harrington?” You quirked an eyebrow.
“I mean, is she as feisty as you?” She definitely was. Maybe even more so.
“Once you get to know her, but at first, she’s usually super shy.” Her shyness typically seemed like a test to see if she could trust people and then when she decided that they were good enough, she’d show her true self.
“Well, I’d love to meet her.” You knew that the two of them would get along very well.
“And she’d love to meet you.” Steve would have probably ended up more wrapped around her finger than Eddie was. You could see him coloring with her on the floor of the trailer, showing him her different techniques. You could see them watching her favorite movie together on the couch, him laughing when she would quote the lines word for word. You could even see getting close to him effortlessly, whispering stuff into his ear that would be their little secret.
Steve liked hearing those words. That your sister would have liked him. He liked kids, loved them even. Especially since most of the people he usually hung out with had once been kids that he was just trying to take care of. To protect.
“So you’re saying I’m worthy of meeting your family?” He winked and you let out a nervous laugh. As long as you had anything to say about it, Steve would have never met your parents. They were just two fucked up people who refused to make any changes in their life just because they had cost a little more than they were willing to spend. You knew that they had some money hiding somewhere. Money that they had claimed had been for your college tuition that you had seen a single dime of. Money you had tried to claim to actually use for college but they suddenly acted like they had no idea what you were talking about.
“Just my sister,” you responded. “My parents don’t exactly make a good impression.” You could still remember when they met Eddie. How judgemental they had been. How they claimed that he wasn’t good enough to hang out with you. What did they know? It wasn’t like they actually knew you well enough to make that decision.
“Mine don’t either,” he shook his head. “For once, my parents came home while I had a date over and my mother was recommending places where she could get the gap in her front teeth fixed.”
“No,” you gasped.
“Yes,” Steve nodded vigorously. “I thought it was really cute and had even told her as much but she left before I could reassure her.”
“Steve, I’m so sorry.”
“It’s alright. So sometimes, it might not even be your fault if the date is bad,” he let out a chuckle, but you could see in his face that he didn’t actually think it was funny.
You felt bad for the guy. You knew he was just looking for “the one” but it never seemed to work out. You wondered if he thought he was destined to be lonely just like you were. If he ever blamed himself for things when they went wrong even when they weren’t his fault.
You wondered how he was still able to put himself out there despite all of his failed dates. Where he got his confidence from and how he didn’t just cancel all the time because he was afraid of things going south. That was what you would have done. And maybe that was the real difference between you and Steve. He did things despite being afraid while you stood by and watched because you’d rather keep your dignity intact than ever risk embarrassing yourself.
“That doesn’t make me feel better.”
“Hey, relax. You’re doing really well,” he assured you and you hoped that he was telling the truth and not just trying to spare your feelings.
“I am?” Steve had never seen you so unsure before. You usually took things for what they were, not even sparing a second to ask questions. He was beginning to think that maybe that was all just an act and that the woman sitting in front of him was the “real” you. Not the version of yourself you had to put on everyday just to seem normal.
“Yeah,” he replied, taking another bite of his spaghetti. “You’re a natural.”
“So are you.”
“Well I should be with how much practice I’ve had.” You both laughed at that and continued to eat and make small talk until your plates were empty. You knew the night was drawing to a close and you didn’t want it to end. It was as if you were Cinderella and as soon as the clock struck twelve, you’d no longer be in the little fantasy Steve had made up for you. You’d have to remove your dress and go back to your real life where there seemed to be no happily afters.
The night hadn’t even been over yet and Steve was already looking forward to the next lesson. He wanted to see more of you like this, you’re true self. He liked that you didn’t seem to have your guard up. You seemed less tense and the tension between your eyebrows seemed to disappear. Your shoulders hadn’t been up to your ears, in fact, they had been pushed back as you sat across from him.
You were so fucking beautiful and seeing you sitting there in your gorgeous dress was damn near torture. The blue looked so nice against your skin and it was killing him that he couldn’t see how you felt against his hands. That he couldn’t press his lips to yours, the pretty red color smearing against his own and across his cheeks in how messy the kiss got. He wanted to see lipstick stains all along his body, but he couldn’t get himself to make a move. This was all fake, after all. As if you’d actually go on a real date with Steve Harrington.
Steve led you to the front door and it felt disorienting for him to not take you up to his room. You knew that his other dates ended that way, but this was different. He was just helping you out. It wasn’t supposed to mean anything.
So why did you want him to take you by the hand and lead you to his bedroom? Why did you want to feel his soft hands against your thighs, sliding up your dress? Why did you want to know exactly what his lips felt like? If they were as soft as they looked. If he was as good of a kisser the girls in town said he was.
You felt yourself getting wet just thinking about it and for once, you weren’t going to do anything about it. At least not with Steve. You couldn’t risk ruining your friendship because you couldn’t keep your hormones in check. You’d never forgive yourself if you pushed him away because you couldn’t control yourself.
“This was really nice,” you told him as you both stood at the door, neither of you making a move to open it.
“See, I told you there was nothing to worry about,” he nudged your shoulder.
“I know. I was just worrying for nothing.” Steve watched you rifle through your purse, clearly looking for something.
You pulled out a small black tube and moved over to the mirror that was by the door. You opened the thing and Steve could see a little bit of red peeking out from the top, realizing that it was lipstick. He stood behind you, watching you twist it up so you had more access to the product. You opened your mouth slightly and applied the color to your lips slowly. Steve watched you in amazement. It was as if you had hypnotized the man. He was standing there, unmoving, his mouth slightly agape.
You weren’t even doing it on purpose. This was a move you had perfected to get people into bed and it had a hundred percent success rate. This time, you just wanted to touch up the color since most of it had rubbed off while you were eating. Why you were doing it when you were about to leave, you didn’t know. Maybe you were trying to give Steve one last chance to make a move.
His hand rested on your shoulder and you had to look down so he couldn’t see your triumphant smile in the reflection. You guessed Steve wasn’t as strong as he looked. You looked at him as his other hand moved to your face. His thumb rubbed at the corner of your bottom lip where the color had bled onto your skin only for it to smudge.
“Whoops,” he chuckled, looking down at his now stained thumb. “I didn’t mean to smudge it.”
“It’s okay.” I wanted you to smudge it, was what you wanted to say. But you didn’t. “It doesn’t take much to do that.”
“Right,” he chuckled again. You didn’t miss how his gaze hadn’t left your lips. He had wanted it as much as you did. So the trick worked. Steve wasn’t immune like you thought he had been.
And just when you had him right where you wanted him, he opened the door for you. Despite your confusion, you stepped through it, Steve closing it behind him so the two of you were standing on the front step. There was so little space that you were practically chest to chest.
He slowly leaned towards you, trying to gauge your reaction for any signs that you didn’t want him to continue. You wanted it. You wanted it so bad, but you couldn’t let him do it. You just knew that if you kissed him, you wouldn’t want to stop. And you couldn’t have that. You were in control. You called the shots. And you weren’t going to get Steve fucking Harrington have that effect on you.
Just as his lips were about to meet yours, you turned your face so they landed on your cheek instead. He quickly pulled away and you slowly turned your head to look at him. His eyes widened and his lips parted, like he couldn’t believe what he had done. He looked like he was about to speak and you just couldn’t listen to what he had to say.
“Goodnight, Steve. Thanks again for tonight.”
You rushed down the steps as he called your name and almost tripped on the concrete of his driveway because of how fast your were moving. You pulled your keys out of your purse and couldn’t seem to unlock your car quick enough. You opened the door and made the mistake of looking at Steve one last time. He was still standing there, his eyebrows furrowed in confusion as he watched you get into the car.
You slammed the door shut and practically floored it all the back to your trailer. You were never going to be able to look Steve in the eye again. You were going to have to quit Family Video. You were going to have to stop hanging out with Robin.
You had wanted to kiss Steve so you had no idea why you had turned your head at the last second. And now you had hurt him just because you had been afraid of what it could have led to if you had given in. You had gotten scared because you hadn’t been in control of your feelings for once.
You pulled up to your trailer and raced inside, closing the door, leaning against it. Eddie was on the couch alone which led you to believe that he had actually made her go to bed at a decent time, which was rare. He turned to you and his eyebrows furrowed at your distressed state.
“What happened?” He clicked off the TV and gave you his full attention, hoping that he wasn’t actually going to have to kick Steve’s ass. If that man has laid a non-consensual finger on you, he’d be fucking dead.
“He tried to kiss me, Eddie.”
“I’ll kill him,” he stood up from the couch, cracking his knuckles.
“No,” you moved towards him. “I wanted him too.”
“Oh,” he scoffed, sitting back down on the couch. “Then what’s the big deal?”
“This big deal is that he tried to kiss me, Eddie.” You sat down next to him, burying your face into your hands.
“Damn, one date and you’re already falling for him?” He laughed. “He’s good.”
“This is serious.”
“Is it, though?” He stood up from the couch and headed over to the fridge and pulled out the box of wine. He figured you were going to need some.
“Yes.” You turned to look at him as he rifled through the cabinets for two wine glasses.
“Because it kind of seems like you just don’t want to fall for him.” You hated that he was always able to read you like a book. He was the one person who could see right through you.
“I don’t,” you crossed your arms over your chest and he whipped around to look at you. You had finally admitted it after months of denying feelings for Steve.
“Ah-ha!” He pointed at you. “So you admit it.”
“I admit nothing.” You wouldn’t have been caught dead admitting that you liked anyone in a romantic sense. That was for losers and you were most definitely not a loser.
“That’s because you’re a coward.” He handed you a glass of wine and you took a few sips before setting it down on the coffee table.
Maybe you were a coward, but you were going to wear that label proudly if it meant you didn’t have to admit that you were crushing on Steve. There was no way you’d ever tell anyone that. Not even yourself. To you, love was still bullshit. You’d seen your parents, you’d seen your grandparents. Apparently happily ever after just didn’t exist in your family and that was just how it was.
Eddie had seen every single one of your hookups fail except for him. He wondered what would have happened if he had feelings for you. If you would have kicked him to the curb if he had told how he felt. If that was the only reason you kept him around.
“Well, if the shoe fits,” you leaned back against the couch, propping your feet up onto the coffee table.
“You made a deal with him, y/n. You can’t just avoid him because you’re afraid.”
“Of course I can.” You took another sip of your wine, not liking how little effect it was having on you. You were usually buzzed by that point.
“Then that means you’re no better than me,” he tsked, shaking his head.
“Yeah, right,” you scoffed. “You’re the biggest coward of them all, Eddie.” If you looked up the definition in the dictionary, his name would be right there.
“Sure, but I’d never deny my feelings because I was afraid of being vulnerable. Oh, that’s right, you don’t have feelings.”
“Damn straight.”
“That’s not something to be proud of, babe,” he gave your knee a pat. “Well, you have fun being in denial, I’m gonna go to bed.”
“So we’re not hooking up tonight?” You asked as you watched him stand from the couch and made his way over to the door.
“As if I’d fuck a taken woman,” he gasped, putting his hand up to his chest. “Even I’m better than that, y/n.”
“Eddie,” you groaned, trying to get to him but he closed the door before you could catch him.
You leaned against it, running your hands through your hair. Your life had somehow gotten worse after letting Steve in. You went on a really nice date with him and ended up hurting his feelings because you wouldn’t kiss him. Now you couldn’t stand to look at him again and your best friend was laughing at you while you were in pain. There was no way it could have possibly have gotten any fucking worse.

💕—————💕
Steve and Eddie’s hang outs tend to land them on their asses at one another’s houses. But tonight, the sky is clear and the moon is out and everything seems to be painted by the soft glow of stars. Because Steve’s parents are home. And Wayne’s got the day off, so he’s asleep early in the living room at the Munson’s. Neither of that will stop them, though. Steve picks Eddie up thirty minutes before the sun has to set, a little Melvald’s bag in the backseat filled with food and a soft throw blanket.
They go out to a clearing a few minutes outside of Hawkins. Just off the side of the road. No other people. No other wildlife, really. And they sprawl out on that blanket, over the chilled late autumn grass, eating from the same bag of barbecue chips. Eddie sits back on his palms, looking up to the stars.
His hair is tied up in a loose bun. He’s sporting one of his quarter sleeve shirts, blank of the Hellfire Club logo. Classic ripped jeans and his Reeboks. But the way his hair isn’t blocking his face gives Steve one of his new favorite views. The stretched line of Eddie’s neck, his slight stubble painted jaw, his plump pink lips, the rounded tip to his nose, his fanned long eyelashes. A breeze cuts through Eddie’s bangs, one of his hands flies up to keep them steady. Steve mourns the skin he can’t see there, because he’s thought about it: There’s enough room for every forehead kiss he’d ever want.
And, oh yeah, he should probably acknowledge his massive harboring crush on Eddie. That he’s excited to be laying on his back, looking at his face instead of the stars. The small smile that graces his features. The marred edge of his facial scar bunching with his grin. It’s cute. He’s attractive. Steve wants to hold his face between the cupped palms of his hands.
But he looks away, back at the stars. The movement of his head makes his hair scrape the blanket. And he settles in, one arm tucked under his head, the other laid over the steady rise and fall of his belly. He clears his throat. And softly, “This is so much better than being with my insufferable parents.”
Eddie snorts beside him. He leans down onto his elbows. “Yeah? What were they doing this time?” Because, oh yeah, Eddie knows that Steve’s parents are shitty people. And, oh yeah, he likes to hear Steve bitch about them. It gives Steve butterflies.
“The usual, I guess.” He shrugs, even though he’s ninety percent sure that Eddie isn’t even looking at him. “Complain about the chores not being done. Even when they’ve been done. Complain about there not being enough groceries. Sorry, Mom, that you aren’t ever around to even fucking eat them. Complain about how disappointing I am or how disappointed they are or what my life should look like or how I’m barely their son,” he lists off. Then, shrugs again. “The Usual.”
“Jesus, Stevie,” he hears Eddie breathe. “Wish there was space at the trailer for you. I hope my company is enough for now.”
Steve sighs. “It’s enough,” he mutters. “It’s more than enough.” And finds himself meaning it.
That’s another thing he should probably get around to acknowledging. He’s getting dangerously close to tiptoeing over the edge of this precipice. From opening his mouth—soft tongue, barbecue chips and all—and just saying what he wants to say. Things like how Eddie is beautiful and caring and how he adores his company. Something like, “But, soft, what light through yonder window breaks? It is the east, and Edward is the sun.”
Yeah, something like that.
He shifts against the blanket again. “They found me out this morning,” he says. “I’ve been outta the house since. That’s why we’re out here.”
“Yeah?”
“Mhm,” Steve hums. He knows it’ll ruin the mood, but he can’t help the need to explain. “Dad was reading something; must’ve picked up one of those tabloid magazines instead of his usual. I guess the word got around that Freddie Mercury’s been tested for HIV? I’m not entirely sure, it’s truly, none of my business. That’s between him and his doctor. But, y’know what people come to think.”
Eddie sighs next to him. “Yeah,” he’s muttering, “I do unfortunately know.”
“It’s just—“ Steve groans. “Dad was being shitty. Saying anything and everything you could probably think of. Every slur. Every slur.” He sits up, crossing his legs, hands drifting to tug at tufts of grass below him. “Was talking about one of my favorite singers like he was just—like fucking Freddie Mercury was some low life, some leech or something. I couldn’t—It made it hard to just breathe. And then he—“
“Steve,” Eddie’s murmuring beside him. Blearily, Steve accounts Eddie’s hand reaching out for him. But he’s restless with his rage.
“—Then he was saying shit about my friends! About you and Robin and the Byers. As if you guys weren’t people. As if he was faring any better!” He scoffs. “Can you fucking believe the gull on him? I wanted to grab him by his nuts and throw him to Timbuktu.” He turns to better face Eddie, coming to his look of barely contained anger, yet grimaced by that expression of, You know he’s not all that wrong.
“No!” Steve exclaims. “No, don’t fucking give me that look, Eds. Like he’s fucking right,” he spits. “He’s never right. He barely ever knows what he’s talking about. He just thinks because he knows the term ergonomic that he’s like—That he’s better for it! He’s dumb, Eddie! He doesn’t even know my favorite color!”
“Steve, that’s…That’s not what you think—“
“But he just kept talking like I wasn’t ‘one of those faggots’ that he was referencing,” he barrels on. “As if my life doesn’t matter. And…God, Eddie,” his voice squeaks, breaking in two, “Eddie, I don’t think it does to him. He’s never—He’s such a terrible person. I couldn’t stand it anymore. The way he was talking, it made me grow balls.
“So I just blurted it out: ‘I’m a queer!’ And then the room got scary quiet. I realized what I had said and so I left.” There’s grass between his fingers and a warm body on his right. Chip crumbs stuck between his teeth, a cold breeze on the bare skin of his arms. But…the stars, the stars are shining down on them. And he’s still brave. He’s brave and he’s better for it.
He shudders at Eddie’s gentle touch. The palm to his shoulder. The grip of his fingers.
“Steve,” Eddie is murmuring once more. “I’m sorry. I’m sorry that you had to do it that way.”
And, it’s not funny, none of this is funny. But Steve laughs anyway. All sharp and jagged. Loud. Abrasive as he is prone to be. He’s got his crush apologizing to him, on behalf of Steve himself. Got his warm palm. His low timbered voice. His beautiful curls sitting messy like drooping chocolate ice cream atop his head. And he’s laughing.
In the face of his domestic world ending—not the literal world, not the world infected by monsters—he’s laughing for being courageous.
Eddie is there. He’s still here. Holding onto Steve so carefully, like Steve may just fall through the cracks of the dirt and melt into the magma below it. His eyes are big and soft. And his lips are stretched perturbed. His hand is squeezing at Steve’s shoulders as if he thinks Steve is on the verge of breaking.
Which in turn, makes Steve laugh harder, but also causes his stomach to flip all too easily. Easy enough that he’s collecting his wits and painting his face with courage and he’s leaning into the touch. And he’s cackling out, “I love you! Isn’t that the craziest part?! That I love you and I love you and I—I don’t know how to not!” He’s throwing his head back, sure, a little deranged. But at the same time, alighted with a warm flame, coaxed by the moonlight, bathed in the stars.
“What?” Eddie squeaks. “Dude, are you—What?” But he’s nervous. He’s lifting his free hand to his hair, trying to cover the small smirk on his face. He’s shifting his lap from side to side, rocking with the motion, getting giddily anxious. And he’s cute.
“When I told ‘em,” Steve wheezes. “When I told ‘em, all I thought about was you. All I thought about was you, standing on a cafeteria table, yelling. Isn’t that so—“ He chuckles, trying to come down from this dangerous ledge he’s gripping to. His stomach hurts with his joy. His chest is full. He’s warm. “I thought about the other night when you woke up in my house and we were eating breakfast and you were laughing so hard that you choked a little bit on the sausage. I was thinking about your stupid dick sucking joke. I was thinking about—I was thinking about that last look you gave me before Vecna.
“How brave you were. I was thinking about my name on your lips. And how I just couldn’t care anymore about what they thought.” He leans in a little closer, practically pressed into the fragile line of Eddie’s side. “I couldn’t care. I’ve nearly died like four times, Eddie. You almost died in our arms. I was thinking about being alive and how I couldn’t care. And, I was thinking—“ He takes a deep breath. Continues, his voice airy and gleeful, “I was thinkin’ how either of us could be gone tomorrow. And that in all my time worrying about what my stupid fucking dad is thinking about me, I didn’t tell you how I feel. It doesn’t matter that I’m queer, Eddie. It won’t matter if I don’t get to fall in love at least once.”
He relaxes, finally. Completely. Shining with passion. With contentment.
“You make me fall in love everyday, isn’t that something, Eds? I’m a queer, my parents are bullshit, and I’m in love with one of my favorite people. That’s something,” he breathes, “you’re something more than any of what my dad could ever say.”
Next to him, Eddie chuckles lightly. Like it’s clicking for him, too. The pieces finally matched up. The key turning the lock. “You’re something, too, you know that?” He murmurs. His hand moves from Steve’s shoulder, instead wrapping around both shoulders, tucking Steve close to his side. His fingers leave little circles on the exposed slip of skin from beneath the sleeve of Steve’s own t-shirt. He’s holding him in so tight, it’s like he’s merging their bodies. He continues on, whispering, “You’re beautiful and you’re so fucking smart and incredibly brave. And you’re right. None of this matters to me if I don’t get to fall in love. We almost died and seen true horror shit. None of this matters without you. You’re something, Steve Harrington.” He sighs, face pillowing into Steve’s hair. His breath is light, warm. “And I love you.”
The autumn breeze is chilling the air. The day is boiling down to this.
Stars and moon. Night sky, green grass. Barbecue chips and a soft throw blanket. Eddie’s warm side, his squeezing arm, his mess of curls. They love one another.
Steve is warm with contentment. Lit by the flames of ever passionate love.
And he’s brave. Incredibly, wondrously so.
His hand wrangles in Eddie’s free one. Intertwining their fingers, kissing their palms. He sighs. The sun is next to him. The moon above him. And some time in the morning, he will collect his bearings and face an unruly wrath, he’s sure of it. But for tonight, he can’t help but wonder, How could any of this be bad?

Trailer park Steve AU part 61
part 1 | part 60 | ao3
cw: mentions of canonical minor character death
Chapter 14
It's twilight by the time they make their way to Rick's place — gnat clouds swarming, sun dipped low, Lover's Lake an inky smudge beyond the blur of passing pines. Steve’s not totally sure how they got here, this dusty service road that's more pothole than pavement; one minute he's bitching about doomed love and double VHS, the next he’s taking the scenic route to a drug den.
There were some important moments in between, he’s pretty sure.
He’s also pretty sure he blacked out somewhere around the moment the morning news reported that an-unidentified-Hawkins-student-who-very-well-could-be-Eddie-Munson was found dead in his fucking trailer.
Kinda difficult to resurface from that one.
Feels like his soul’s got swimmer’s ear.
Even hours later — after Dustin and Max burst into Family Video talking a mile a minute about how Eddie was alive and they needed to use the phones; after Ernie stupidly gave a reporter Steve’s name, swearing up and down on the TV that his neighbor Steve Harrington was an upstanding young man who would never do something like this; after they spent an agonizingly long afternoon lying low and taking backroads to avoid the cops because the cops probably suspect Steve of murder now, oh god—
“It’s this next right up ahead,” Max says from the back seat. There's a map spread over the bench between her and Dustin, and Steve blinks himself awake; gives her a nod in the rearview.
Beside her, Dustin’s munching on Twizzlers he stole from the store — window down, easy slouch, just way too chipper for the situation at hand. "So Steve," he says conversationally, "now that you're a fugitive, does that mean—?"
Steve cuts Robin a pleading look.
Robin reaches back and smacks the little twerp upside the head.
"Ow!" Dustin whines.
"Shut up, please," Robin smiles.
Max makes a sound like she's trying not to laugh and checks the map again. "Right here," she says, pointing. "After that weird tree stump."
They turn onto another road that could be generously described as paved, once, several decades ago, and eventually, the winding path lets out onto a slightly nicer street. Aging but cared for, Holland Road is a crowded row of little lake houses, trailers and shacks with manicured shrubs and chipped fence paint, weeds growing through the sidewalks beneath pristine American flags. Steve pulls into the driveway of #2121.
It looks abandoned. Dark inside and out, a truck parked on the curb that's likely been there for a while, its tires sagging in a mulch of old wet leaves. There’s an autumn wreath on the front door.
“You sure this is the place?” he asks as they climb out of the car.
Max sasses him for questioning her navigation skills, Dustin unsuccessfully tries to land a revenge slap on Robin — a move that earns him a retaliation wedgie and a wrestling match he was never gonna win — and Steve pops the trunk and feels a hundred years old. Feels every bit the exhausted dad trying to keep the family road trip together as he grabs his nail bat and slings his duffel over his shoulder.
"You planning to spend the night?" Dustin teases from Robin's armpit, still bent double where she's got him in a headlock.
"No, just-" he drops the bag at their feet with a grunt, “doesn’t hurt to be prepared.”
Dustin’s eyes bug out. “Is that a can of goddamn bear mace?”
“Keep your voice down!” Steve hisses.
“You keep your voice down!”
"Should I just go ahead and choke him out?" Robin offers.
Steve considers it for a second: knock 'em all out, stuff 'em back inside the car. Go do this shit quietly by himself.
He rolls his eyes and puts his hands on his hips.
"You're no fun," she pouts, but she lets Dustin go.
Dustin grabs flashlights and walkies out of the bag, passes them around the circle. They take a moment to steel themselves — huddled together in the dark, shoulders tense, the creepy house looming ahead. Sharp shadows stretch toward them. Croaking sounds creeping from the edges of the lake.
Robin puts her flashlight under her chin like she's about to tell a scary story. "Alright, kiddos," she says in a deep, ominous voice. "Let's go rescue Steve's ex."
Stunned silence in the sudden vacuum her words create. Steve lets out a tired sigh. Dustin’s jaw is on the curb.
“His WHAT?” Dustin shouts.
Oh, my god. “He’s not my ex."
Robin rolls her eyes and says ‘sure’ under her breath, and Max turns to Dustin, laughing. “You didn’t know they were a thing?”
“We’re not—” Steve tries again.
“What were you trying to get them back together for then?”
She seems genuinely curious. Dustin seems three seconds from spontaneous combustion. “What was I WHAT?!” he yelps, limbs everywhere. Reminds Steve of Eddie so bad it hurts.
“Okay,” Steve interrupts, clapping them both on the shoulder; drops his voice to a harsh whisper. “In case you two forgot, we’re here to rescue Eddie.”
“Who you’re dating.”
Dustin’s voice is small, disconnected, his gaze far away. Like he’s shellshocked.
“Jesus Christ.” Steve pinches the bridge of his nose. “I— Yes. No. It’s complicated.”
Max snorts at his answer, Dustin makes a series of faces like he's gonna need seven years to process, and Robin interrupts his crisis by waving her flashlight like a traffic guard, walking backward up the hill as she directs them toward the house.
“Why don’t we just go find him first?” she suggests, making a rainbow with her hands, flinging light through the grimy windows. “And then Stevie here can answer alllll your big gay questions.”
Steve glares at Robin. Dustin glares at him, narrowed eyes for a full ten seconds like 'yeah, you fucking better,' and then he takes off up the driveway hollering Eddie's name.

Okay. .
Tin Foil Hat time for Dimension 20. .since god knows when the trailer will drop for
"Never Stop Blowing Up" - the next D20 campaign.
A part of me wants it to be a new Starstruck Odyssey season. . I don't think it will be.
If it's a side quest.... It can be fucking anything. We know it's not Dungeons and Drag Queens 2. Since that's also on its way at some point. .
I would love it to be a Starstruck season. But having two full IH seasons in a row?
I have a feeling it will be released in the late summer/early autumn because of when FH:JY finale gets released. (3 episodes left. Finale might be on 23rd May)
Then the reason I think it's coming out in late summer is so we get the Time Quangle live shows during the gap. 6 shows (technically that counts as a side quest XD)
