When he sees Lloyd approaching, Colm quickly makes anything that isn’t his disappear. (It’d be bad enough to be caught in the act, but he wasn’t going to mess it up here.)

“Who said I took anything?” he responds, although it’s not the least childish thing he’s ever said. “I just saw you from a distance and figured, ‘Oh hey! It’s Lloyd! I know that guy, he’s real neat!’” Grand gesturing aside, he continues, “Actually, I was just about to say hi when you approached me, so hey! Something about great minds, right?”

It is one of the biggest bluffs of his life, but maybe Lloyd might just fall for it? (Or at the very least, he’ll pretend to. That worked just as fine.)

“Uh, yeah. I’m fine — took a few hits, but you can see me. I’m not dead, so.” He shrugs. “Made a new friend at least — that was pretty neat! He’s a wicked strong kid, so you better not mess with him.” (A sharp glint in his eyes.)

“So, did you lose your match or what? You don’t seem like the kind of guy to be hanging around an infirmary for no reason.”

Oh. (Of course he was here...)

You see, in all the excitement of the Battle of the Eagle and Lion, it only made sense that Colm would focus on all the good parts! But darting about, snagging a few juice boxes and cookies along the way, he suddenly sees Lloyd (and then flattens himself against the medical tent equivalent of a wall).

Looks like he got beat up too... (Then Colm notices the red patch, the sign of the Black Eagles.)

They were allies. Him and Lloyd, the fake drunkard and dream toymaker. Lloyd.

He didn't see me taking that stuff right now, right? (He really didn't wanna know what the purple lady would do if she found out.)

Though the battle had been winding down for quite some time, that didn't mean the activity of the mock battle had ended. There were still people being treated for any injuries, wins and loses to tally up, weapons to maintain and then return to the safekeeping of the monastery's armories.

Not to mention the celebrations that were supposedly gearing up. Though he'd been on the side of the winning house, Lloyd didn't feel he'd particularly done anything to ensure it or was worthy of any congratulations. To be perfectly honest, his battle was still primarily fuzzy in his memory. He remembers the why of it, and an exchange of words (some a bit overdramatic, but maybe he was misremembering?), but after following through with his opening strike, he knew very little beyond the crackle of anima magic.

It was a tad frustrating, pride in his skills on the field of battle aside. He didn't like feeling as if he was missing time, or something he should know--

Sudden movement caught his attention, hazel gaze focusing in on the culprit from where Lloyd had been giving the middle ground of the medical tent a thousand yard stare. The boy must have thought he was out of sight, pressed up as stably as one could be against the walls of a tent. It...really only served to make him seem more suspicious, but...

Hold on. Lloyd knew this kid. From the Midsommar festival. And the...dream.

Running a hand idly through his hair, Lloyd chuckled a bit to himself as he approached the blue haired lad.

"You know," he mused, eyes grazing over Colm, looking for something...out of place, "If you don't want to be sniffed out so easily for having...sticky fingers, shall we say, you might want to avoid...all of this." The comment is punctuated with a smooth gesture of his hands, giving a vague outline of the boy's general being.

It's a tease, more than anything else. Perhaps a smidge of genuine advice. It can be a little hard to tell with how he delivers it, but casual displays never came naturally to him outside of a select few.

"I'm assuming you were not injured too much if you're up and about. Good. Did you get anything useful out of the mock battle?"

What's next?

Blood Hunt is over and, as ever, I feel compelled to share my thoughts and expectations/predictions. And make it double because you know this post will be longer since we're talking about my favorite doctors, and that means apologies in advance ~

As already mentioned before, Stephen's suspicion was debated whether Victor was the one pulling the strings behind the event or not. And I suppose it isn't necessarily true at this point. I see Victor (at least, the current characterization of his entire persona) as one of the smartest opportunists in the Marvel universe. Tracing back a couple of years to his latest appearances, it happened a few times: he took part of Dormammu's power when he teamed up with the Guardians of the Galaxy and the X-Men; he created his own team of mutants, using it to create connections and collect debts, as well as stealing a seed of Krakoa; despite being a flashback, he used Eddie and his symbiote to study immortality in order to save his mother and also obtain the Darkhold, among many other schemes. He is, after all, a villain, and seeks power and control, although his motivations are unique to his character, which means he will do as he pleases.

In other words, Victor is complex. His ego and pride exceeds every hero's and villain's in this fictional universe, meaning that, despite his alliances, he will betray his partners if the opportunity arises. Go ahead and ask Namor. It's part of their dynamics.

And yet, no matter how many times, his frenemies will always end up meeting with him once more, especially when it comes to save the world from bigger threats.

In short, he's always eager to betray his allies but has a very strict code and takes an incredible amount of pride when it comes to his word. It's very contradictory of him, but it's part of his complexity. Take a look, for instance, in these following panels: he makes an alliance with Eddie, betrays him by stealing his symbiote and, when defeated, stays his hand and doesn't send his arm after Eddie.

With all that in mind, my intent here boils down to what happened in Blood Hunt and the relationship he shares with Stephen.

First of all, Victor doesn't consider this a betrayal. Stephen used his words poorly, and an opportunity emerged. It IS convenient, it IS shady, and he is aware of that. But that's what Doom does.

Secondly, Victor wouldn't mind betraying Stephen if he didn't respect him. Why am I saying that? Because he has done it before to several allies, as I just discussed. And he doesn't care. But this isn't some random guy who only had something he wanted. This is the man who went to literal hell with him in order to save his beloved mother. They fought as much as they teamed up. Victor saved and took Stephen's life in different moments.

There's this gray area of respect that was totally exploited and taken advantadge of. And of course it was, Victor is an antagonist. It's the drama sauce being cooked here.

But that doesn't mean that this is the end. And here comes an important part -- whether you consider it biased or not by own my interpretations: what comes next?

I don't believe for a second that we're getting a new Secret Wars or a new portrayal of a tyrant. As I stated before, Victor craves acknowledgment, which comes as his need to rule and control things his way. This is why he declared himself the true savior of the planet.

Having the mantle is an accomplishment to his status of power. Or so he thinks. What he doesn't know is the pain and loneliness Stephen has been through by carrying this duty. It's not a blessing, it's a burden.

(What If? Magik Became Sorcerer Supreme)

I believe this is the point of having Doom as the Sorcerer Supreme. It's a mantle every magic user craves, but no one is truly aware of what it means. And Victor is about to find out.

As for Stephen, I've collected all the sneak peeks from Doctor Strange #18 that Pasqual posted on ig (here). And he's really depressed for losing the mantle, just as I suspected. In here, we see that he's reminiscing the moment he gave Victor a piece of his soul.

I strongly believe this will play an important part in the story. Because Jed's Stephen carries such a compassionate soul filled with overwhelming altruism and love. Yes, there's a piece missing in Stephen's soul, but what that piece will do in a heart of iron like Victor's?

See where I'm going with this...?

This is what I have in mind, of course. And, unfortunately, it really depends on the next writer. Some of them really enjoy Victor's shallow villainous side. But if we get someone who sees through Doom's layers, we're really walking towards to an interesting reading. Which means we can expect anything at this point, from Secret Wars level of tyranny, leading the sorcerers to retrieve the mantle, to a wholesome character development that will shift the scales of their relationship.

Lastly, before I conclude this post, I just want to touch some points regarding technicalities. In my opinion, I don't believe Jed was forced to conclude his Doctor Strange run(s) because of MCU!synergy. I'm not saying there isn't synergy at play here, but Jed has been hitting Doom since Strange v3, way before this year's announcement. He IS the one who wrote Blood Hunt, after all. Still, I'm really saddened that he's concluding his trilogy. No one has ever shown such a level of passion towards Stephen and Clea like he did. And I was really blessed to witness it all from the very beginning. I don't know what's coming next for Stephen, but I'm pretty sure he will not be disappear completely. Sided? Unfortunately, yes. It's Doom's time to have the spotlight. But definitely not completely gone.

With that in mind, I'm aware that this conclusion caused discomfort and mistrust in the fandom. It's hard for me to love these two characters who are intertwined in a frenemies relationship and not feel excited about it. But I hear you. I see them both with depth and love them even in their flaws. And I hope that the next story will highlight these aspects. I can always be wrong. But if I can offer just a little of comfort, I will always try.

This isn't a goodbye. We still have the last DS issue. That one will be harder. But we've been through so much worse, right? No matter what, this Sanctum will always be open.

• It comes to a point where he just becomes more and more obsessive with the thought of beating you.

• Doesn’t challenge any of the other uppermoon demons. Just you and you alone. (You’re a victim fr)

• He battles you for your place over and over and over again.

• You grow aggravated with his obnoxious behavior. You do know it’s only normal between demons to act this way but you can’t help but feel annoyed anyway.

• The reason why he persistently challenges you to a duel is because you beat him every time. So Enmu’s desperation grows increasingly high and now he’s convinced he has to beat you. This only grows his obsession and desire for your place. No one else fixates him as much as you do. Enmu’s more than determined now.

• These arrogant ongoing battles become more like a game. (At least to you)

• Enmu takes it seriously while you view it all as child’s play.

• Enmu quite literally despises your guts because of your otherworldly powers and the way you get special treatment by the demon king himself.

• Oh, he wants it ALL.

• However, despite his hatred towards you he does get to know you due to you being the only demon he sees every night when the both of you duel..

• Eventually his envious behavior decreases and he notices how beautiful/handsome, cunning, and beyond majestic you are..

• Bro’s jealousy and undying hatred turns to legit WORSHIP

• Then you’re like: ???

• I THOUGHT YOU HATED ME? is what you say in your mind when you notice his sudden change in demeanor.

• The brutal battles die down and you could almost say you two were ‘friendly’

• Enmu still envies you though. Just not as much as he used to. He’s surprised himself when he notices that he’s growing soft towards you.

• Y’all want from enemies to friends. However, slight tension remains.

• Basically frenemies. That’s how to describe the current situation between y’all.

• Eventually Enmu realizes how unique your abilities are and no longer envies you. his jealousy and hatred dies down as the two of you interact more and more.

• Enmu has never been close with anyone before. He barely interacts with the other demons. Others find him eccentric hence why they never put in any effort to chat with him. (They’re demons after all)

• You’re different than the others which is why he chose to battle with you in the first place.

• Usually when he met up with you the two of you would just fight but those fights turned into just plain old insults to wholeheartedly conversations.

• Enmu is aware of what love is. So it’s no lie when he then tells you he has feelings for you.

• You are surprised by this because affection is extremely rare between demons. No one has ever heard of two demons falling in love. Most of them consider relationships to be a waste of time.

• However, You and Enmu are different.

• The both of you end up together. At first you thought this relationship was going to be a complete failure.

• Spoiler alert; it’s not in the SLIGHTEST!

• Enmu falls hard. LIKE REAL HARD.

• Worships you more than he does Muzan

• An ideal date would be to go out hunting with him. The both of you kill those pitiful humans. Enmu is enamored with the way you kill your victims and how elegant you look while doing it.

• He’s jealous of anyone and anything that comes near you but is really good at hiding it.

• You notice every time though. However, you find his jealousy cute. You reassure him that you love him and only him! (Which Enmu really appreciates)

• This zesty demon is crazy for you. I KID YOU NOT HE’S BEYOND CRAZY FOR YOU.

• He didn’t realize he would love you this much. Enmu wants you to be by his side for all eternity!

• Dreads the thought of you leaving him.

• Y’all crack constant jokes about how you guys were hardcore enemies in the past.

• Enmu digs your sense of humor. You have your own personality unlike the other demons he encounters.

• Overall, this man loves you and worships the ground you walk upon. If you asked him to get on his knees for you and bark like a dog he definitely would 💀💀

first of all, I've been following your fanfic for quite some time now and im really loving it so far!

tbh i rarely read reader x canon aus but this one in particular stuck out to me. the way you shape the story and characters is so amazing to me, they truly give me the immersive feeling i desperately seek in some aus (even if i see the reader not as myself specifically but a separate character, you created, that wanders around in my head rent free atp lol)

gojo and the reader either make me wanna rip my hair out and scream in agony or curl in a ball under my blanket and cry and giggle like a little girl.. there really is no in-between with these losers 😭

also, i might not understand much of the medical world since that field is far out of my reach as a language student but it's so so interesting reading all the surgical procedures described and trying to make sense of it all (you even got me googling most of the stuff since I'm not familiar with many medical terms 😭) but hey! it's always nice to learn new things and the more you know the better :3

don't remember myself if i answered that already lol (hope i don't say something different now). gojo and geto know each other since high school and were kind of rivals first and then bonded over a basketball match they both took part in. best friends since. they never really split, went to the same university, did their residency at the same hospital.

sukuna, gojo and geto became familiar in university. with sukuna being more of a frenemy to them. but gojo and sukuna were kinda close and geto and sukuna were just people who could hang out at a party.

yes yes yes!! next chapter will be gojo's pov again and there will be a scene were we'll get to know more about his upbringing (not in the next chapter tho, sometime later).

London River Knight | God-Abandoned: Wolf | Lavender Moon | One of Heather and Claire's dorm mates at the college. Also full of extreme anxiety (what's up with this new Celestial trio, the previous one wasn't like this, were they?) but this one is scared of a common superstitious prophecy present in the Other World that is a common trope in media on top of being pretty widely believed in. When I first made him he was a self indulgent Cool Goth Werewolf Witch and now he's grown up to be So Shaky I swear

Serra Mun | God-Touched: Cat | Hot Pink Cherry | The other dorm mate of Heather, Claire, and London. He's also long time frenemy of London, and they didn't plan on dorming together but alas fate brought them together so he could annoy the hell out of London. Serra is also the first character I made for this story and his design is so inconsistent I keep wanting to give him scars or an eyepatch but forget other times and it's just a mess (love him though). I'm not sure if I'll ever make London x Serra canon but lord do I Think About Them

Daphne Rosa Clover | Elf | Water Lily | "Omg flowy mint green outfits and pink hair and flower crowns and white star shapes makeup freckles to look like a mushroom she must be so cutesy and nice and innocent" WRONG she is a HUGE NERD ABOUT DEATH AND THE DARKER ASPECTS OF MAGIC. People from the Other World have tales and warnings about what happens to people who delve too deep into like the physics of magic rather than the philosophy of magic like everyone else and how they all go INSANE and DIE and daphne looks at them and goes "we really know nothing about magic despite it being so prevalent in our lives and also wdym by insane guys its [other world equivalent of 2023] u should know better" The type of person to pick up roadkill so she can study its anatomy then lay it to rest respectfully and then get lost in thought about the role it plays in the ecosystem even in death (if only there were cars in the Other World like on earth)

Pippa Jane Owen | Human | Dandelion | By huge coincidence, she went to school with Heather and Claire. She received the book the two used for the enrollment ritual firsthand from a Mysterious Source, and decided to leave it for someone else to find because she thought someone else would like to also learn magic. Very sweet, love her dearly, terrifyingly adept at using magic in extremely creative ways for a human.

Nova Éliane Jones | Human | Blue Sun | The last third of the Celestial trio. Totally unfazed by her near instant popularity upon entering the college when everyone found out her symbol and was excited to see if the rest of the prophetic trio would arrive too for the first time in centuries. Not as good as Pippa in terms of sheer creativity and fluidity in magic, but she's very determined when it comes to perfecting magic one spell at a time.

Halia Ka Hiwa Kapule | Human | Crimson Hibiscus | Similar popularity to Pippa and Nova by association, but a lot more reserved. While Pippa learns by exploring magic by herself and Nova is by the books, Halia is competitive with herself and an observer, taking note of what does and doesn't work for others and how it can apply to herself, so people only see her get things right on the "first try." Very distinguished, love me a turtleneck under a fitted jacket

Dragonfly Saccharum "Sock" Elm | Elf | Pink Feather | Local prankster prone to messing with underclassmen with tall tales about the horrible/amazing things they've seen and done with magic, since most people of the Other World never learn symbolic magic outside of college. Acts like a cool older sibling to the Weird Freshmen offering advice that is rarely useful. Everyone calls them Sock.

Divya Deshmukh | Human | Gold Hourglass | One of the few humans born in the Other World. Best Friend to Sock, except a lot less chaotic than Sock and way more studious. I'm lying Sock is a saint next to Divya don't trust their cool exterior they are SO elaborate in their revenge and pranks, not to mention how they figured out how to use their magic in really subtle and almost unnoticeable ways by breaking down their hourglass symbol into multiple parts of the glass and sand separately. Great person to get on their good side though, always excited to talk about a cool trick they learned with their magic and how it could be translated to other symbols, but damn if they aren't SINISTER and OFFPUTTING once you figure out their small movements that tell you when they're lying or secretly using magic

Bela Briar True | Cryptid: Vampire Elf | Wisteria | Vampires aren't real, stop perpetuating this rumor, Bela isn't a vampire they're just creepy.

Ok so at first I wasn't gonna put this on tumblr and just twitter but since an interaction with an old post of @charkyzombicorn I decided to put it here to.

Explanation, I'm doing a challenge were I redraw most of the One Piece ships has humans and the first that I got was Merry.

So here she is with some headcanons:

- Her full name is Going Merry (duh) but almost everyone just call her Merry

- She is at least 20 years old and was born in Syrup Village.

- She has 6 little siblings and they are Sunny, Shiro (Shiro Mokuba I), Mary (Mini Merry II), Sharky (Shark Submerge III), Kurosai (Kurosai FR-U IV) and Brachio (Brachio Tank V). All adopted.

- She loves adventures, she can chicken out a bit at the start but she can fight and/or lie her way out if shit it the fan.

- Don't be fooled she can and will bench press you, she quite grood at hand in hand combat, using sword and staff to fight but she will demolish you in a gun fight.

- She carry a bag full of very different, like a healing kit, books, maps, snacks, dials, money and many more. She also carry her gun and a bag of mikans.

- She has a giant garden full of mikans tree at home. If you take one without asking or destroy one of the tree you're dead, you can't run, she is already pointing her gun at your head.

- Dress has a chicken ones for Halloween for her siblings, she is not embarrassed at all.

- She is friends with Red (Red Force), Baratie, Striker and Swanda (Swanda Express). Her and Foxy (Sexy Foxy) have a bit of a frenemie relationship (she humiliate him in a boxing match and let Sunny draw Foxy new blackjack). She absolutely hate Miss Love Duck, Bezan Black and Shark Superb.

- She can scream like a baby goat (one of the cutest things ever to Red).

And here is her post Enies Lobby:

- Sadly during her adventures she accumulated quite the injuries and it end when she got into an accident with some Marine ships at Enies Lobby, forcing her into an hospital bed for two month and after she need to use a wheelchair.

- Even she is stuck in a wheelchair she still like to go on adventurous or to just visit so when she go out she is usually accompanied by someone to wheel her around mostly Sunny.

- In the hospital she was mostly visit by Sunny, she give the blackjack and the strawhat to him so he can continue for her.

- Now she spend more time with her younger siblings (except Sunny) and taking care of her garden.

- She can be a bit nostalgic when she sees a old photo of her and her siblings when Sunny was shorter then her (his growth spurt was has much of a surprise to him then to her).

- She snicker everytime Sunny hit his head on the doorframes, or when he still try to hide behind her like he used to do when he was younger.

- She is undergoing walking therapy to be able to walk again, it's hard sometimes and She takes breaks but she will not give up.

- She also meet with the other "retired" ships like Oro, Moby and Rocket Man.

- She meet Polar, one of Sunny's (reluctant) friends, there and they get together sometime to gossip (they will talk shit about anyone especially Sunny).

- Even in a wheelchair she is still a goddess at using her gun.

Done, it was a bit long but i'm quite happy on how it turn out. I still have some work to do in wolrd and story building for this.

But that all, if you have more headcanons for her feel free to tell me, I will be happy to had them :).

First impression: once again it was the "he's played by the same actor as original cast Gordon Schwinn?" which is. true.

Impression now: oh my god so much he's my favorite character he's uncomfortably relatable to me he's like my cat to me fr (i definitely don't have a crush on him hhahahahahahahahah /s)

Favorite moment: I'm forever thinking about when he wrote that letter forever and ever. oh and what i consider one of the few good moments of the last two episodes, i love that he decided to break the cycle of abuse and take the responsibility of raising his son even if he was from his godawful ex wife it was such a big character moment for him

Idea for a story: i mean i have about a million but right now I'd like to mention the spiderman au i made up i will unfortunately not elaborate on that

Unpopular opinion: i think it's unpopular at least. I've seen people say he's giving them gay vibes and i will go ahead and say you're either saying that because of stereotypes or because you know who the actor is. you have no *real* reason for thinking that. that being said I'm not at all saying he has to be 100% straight either.....

oh and the other like big one he would NOT confess his love for Caroline face to face during season 1 in any circumstances that letter is the closest he could get at that point and you just need to be fine with that.

Favorite relationship: I'm highkey Caroline x Richard shipper but also lowkey Richard x Del shipper and i enjoy his frenemy dynamic with Annie a lot too. did i mention i enjoy the dynamics in this show?

Favorite headcanon: I'll once again be basic and say It's The Autism
