Okay, So where do I start? Well it does have a name: It's the Foresaken Lovers Au, so any further posts will refer to it as that. If I write it up however, it will have a different name. Haven't figured it out yet though. Anyways some basic details that i wish i could draw because then people might be more interested but for now you get my rambles instead.

Lucifer and Alastor grow up together in New Orleans. Think Tiana and Lottie from Princess and the Frog. But there is a few differences. Like the obvious racism from Lucifer's family/others around them.

Infact Cecelia (Alastor's mum) tells Alastor (who's like.. 5 when he and Lucifer first meet). Not to get too upset if Lucifer doesn't send him any letters.

Also Alastor and Lucifer are essentially childhood sweethearts in this tbh.

Lucifer is pretty much raised by Michael. Michael was a little shit/got into a lot of trouble so the family was like "You can look after your baby brother now" to teach him responsibility

This unfortunately leads to Lucifer actually be infantilized his entire life. Only Alastor and Cecelia treat him like a person and not some delicate Doll.

Now not spoiling the entire plot yet lol. But basically they grow up together. Kind of.

I really don't want to spoil much unless more people ask. But Lucifer is actually the first to kill someone. And doesn't bat an eye when he finds Alastor stabbing his father's body repeatedly. Infact Lucifer gets everything cleaned up and tells Alastor how to dump the body.

They have their first kiss after they dump his body in the bayou-

They don't actually start killing till Cecelia passes away and Alastor is at his breaking point.

Alastor kills, Lucifer cleans up. Thats it. Their both cannibals too

They both die within a week or two of eachother, but don't find eachother for a few months, nearly a year.

Vaggie fell to hell years before Alastor died. So she and Charlie are in a relationship and have opened the hotel already. Charlie is also just Liliths daughter. But they are the reason Alastor and Lucifer find eachother again

I can't think of anything else right now and this is already long, so I'll stop right here. And hope more people are interested lol

The Eye and the Dark could be great allies if they used the right aspects of them. Specifically the fear of the unseen and undiscovered aspect of the Dark and the stalking aspect of the Eye.

Also, every Eye avatar could've been an avatar of the Lonely if their story went slightly different, but not every avatar of the Lonely could've been an Eye avatar.

The real main reason that I don't think compulsion is gonna be the explanation for the Siuanraine confrontation/breakup is because making a change like that would create soooo many more problems for the writers down the line

Here's why:

Say Liandrin can move her plans forward by compelling Siuan, seemingly without too much difficulty, even though this is so high stakes (narratively and for Siuan)

That means that every. single. time. a Black Ajah (or any other darkfriends working closely enough with them!) encounters a problem in the future, the writers will have to figure out why they couldn't just use compulsion

Because:

Siuan is presumably more powerful than many or most of the Aes Sedai

Liandrin is the only Black Ajah that's been revealed at this point, meaning that narratively, she should ideally be a decent benchmark for a Black Ajah's capabilities

Narratively, you generally want villains to escalate as you get further into a show. It would be a problem for narrative tension if most of the other Black Ajah we meet all end up being less powerful then Liandrin

Therefore, narratively, you would have to go to some pains to explain why most of the Black Ajah aren't also capable of using compulsion at that level

If the Black Ajah could mostly all use compulsion at a similar level, then why don't they just use it to solve all their problems?

This is especially a writing complication if any of the Black Ajah end up caught out or captured at any point

Especially in a series as infamously and intricately plotty as Wheel of Time, this would all effectively mean that every single time there's a plot involving the Black Ajah, the writers would have to scrutinize every single plotline in every future season for plot holes opened up by "Well why don't the Black Ajah just use compulsion?"

Or change every single plotline involving the Black Ajah to include their new, more powerful compulsion capabilities

And that's just. So much extra work! So many potential plot holes! For the whole rest of the show!

So, it just feels really, really unlikely to me that the writers would want to open up that massive can of worms, tbh

(Also, not sure why Liandrin would compel Suian to take Rand back to the White Tower and lock him up there, when we already know that her bosses both want Rand in Thalme)
