With a low rustle, Sun Wukong unveiled the peach nestled within the folds of his robe. As if enveloped in golden dust, its skin shimmered, catching the last rays of sunlight before they disappeared below the clouds. Flawless and irresistibly ripe, it emitted a tantalizingly sweetness that lifted their spirits and beckoned to be eaten.

Lingering on the fruit, her gaze held a curiosity, softly wondering what price heaven might decree for a treasure, so rare.

His steps were slow as he approached, his movements careful and hesitant. Quivering and barely more than a breath, his voice carried the promise that her destiny would bloom in this realm, where she would forever reign as queen by his side.

Expectantly, his long fingers extended the heavenly fruit toward her, and the warmth of his blazing sun pierced through to her heart. Trembling, her fingers brushed against his arm, seeking solace in his touch.

Wukong couldn’t help but notice how fragile she seemed in comparison to him—delicate, like a flower easily shattered by the harshness of the world.

Reverently, she leaned toward the ripe peach, enchanted by its ambrosial scent. The soft down caressed her lips, and, enticed, she finally took a bite.

The Monkey King observed as she closed her eyes, tilting her head back in delight. A small smile curved her lips as the sweetness danced on her tongue.

His gaze could not waver from the way her lashes fluttered or how her cheeks flushed with pleasure. With each bite, her desire deepened, her grip on his arm tightening. Her sighs—oh, her sighs—intoxicated his senses like sweet poison, clouding his thoughts and weaving a haze around his mind.

Suppressing his own selfish desire, he gently withdrew his arm and regarded her. Juice dripping down her chin left a trace of sticky, sweet goodness upon her rosy lips. With his thumb, he caught the precious droplet and brought it back. Her soft, warm lips brushed against his rough skin as she opened her mouth to receive what had nearly been lost. A pleasant shiver ran down his spine, urging Wukong to draw even closer.

Then, turning the peach in his hand to reveal its untouched side, its velvety sheen remained temptingly alluring. With a mischievous smile, he offered it to her once more, knowing she could no longer resist.

Enjoying the last bite of the fruit, she let the sweet juice linger at the corner of her mouth before tenderly licking it away. Wildly, his heart raced, threatening to leap from his chest as every movement captivated his gaze.

Dropping the peach stone, he extended his hand to her, still glistening with the remnants of the fruit. As she leaned down toward him, her lips hovered tantalizingly above his palm, and a warm flush crept over his cheeks. Her breath, warm and soft, tickled his skin as she slightly parted her lips, the tip of her tongue brushing against him. Each delicate caress swept him into a wave of desire, igniting a fire within him that he struggled to suppress. With every touch, every sensation intensifying, he felt himself slipping further from control.

As the sweet juice dwindled, he found himself unable to resist the primal urge surging through his veins. Slightly trembling, his hand glided over her lips, relishing their gentle, silky softness before he gently parted them. Then, with a longing thrust, he slipped his fingers into her warm mouth, eager to feel the enveloping warmth and moisture of her tongue wrapping around him.

The sweet, wet resistance made him shudder, and his control began to crumble. Unconsciously, he pulled her closer, his hand weaving into her hair, claws gripping the back of her head as if he sought to bind her to him even more tightly.  In response, she released a soft, yearning moan, her body beginning to flutter.

His fingers delved deeper, gliding over her tongue, causing his thoughts to blur and spiral, consumed by each overwhelming sensation as his body battled to contain the pleasure flooding through him. The world around them faded away, leaving nothing but the sensation of her lips closing tightly around him and the humid heat enveloping him completely.

Here is a bit of what I have done so far for the sun wukong x reader, still gonna make some edits to what I have so far and add more to it later cause I did this during class in between presentations, but I hope you guys like what I have so far.

What do you desire?

These words echoed in Y/N's head as they stood before the Jade Emperor beside Jason.

What did they desire?

As Jason told the Emperor that he wanted to go home, Y/N thought about New York.

Did they really want to go back there?

They didn't really have anything to go back there for.

No family, a miserable job, Jason was their only friend.

They didn't want to say goodbye to him, but they honestly didn't want to leave.

"And you?" The Jade Emperor's voice spoke up infront of them, causing them to snap back to reality.

Looking up, Y/N saw the smile on the Emperor's face.

They also notice Lu and the Monkey King watching from a bit away.

Lu was giving them a proud look, and the Monkey King was also giving them a proud look as well, but they noticed a hint of something else, something all too familiar to them.

Loneliness.

Making up their mind, they looked back to the Emperor with absolutely certainty.

"I want to stay."

When those words left their mouth, everyone started whispering, surprised to hear that they wanted to stay.

Even Lu and the Monkey King were surprised.

The Emperor was the only one that wasn't shocked by their answer, he gave them a smile as he placed a hand on their shoulder.

"If this is really what you want. We happily welcome you."

Y/N nodded as they gave a smile back.

"Thank you."

Looking to Jason, they pulled him into a tight hug.

"You take care of yourself Jason." They muttered as they felt tears fall.

Saying goodbye to him was very hard for them, especially since they knew him for years.

"You as well Y/N, I'll never forget you."

And with these parting words, Jason headed towards the cliff where the Jade Emperor would send him back to New York.

As Y/N watched Jason disapeared in white mist, they didn't notice the Monkey King walking up to their side.

Ok so I’m redoing this page cause I hate how I drew everything 🤦 but I worked too hard on it to not post it so here. The composition, the overly detailed background, the colors, just AAAAAHG! I came across American Born Chinese by Gene Luen Yang years and years ago.

I read it.

I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I recently discovered that Disney was making an adaptation of the book when by chance I saw the book with a cover for the live action adaptation.

I watched the trailer.

I did not thoroughly enjoy it.

For anyone without Ao3, because the request came in. Hehe… it’s been a tough week(s), so here’s a little self-insert to cheer up. My husband put our little one to bed and watched Forbidden Kingdom with me, and I fell in love with him... and Wukong again.

Withdrawing, his feet barely grazed the ground as she pursued him, her gaze locked onto him, returning with every twist and turn, never losing the rhythm.

Through the relentless rain, he could hear the drumming of her heart, feel its echo in his own. And there it was again: that familiar twitch in his chest, the one that always surfaced in her presence. An unusual tension, one he was unaccustomed to.

He was Sūn Wùkōng, the Great Sage, who had shattered the heavens and conquered death. What force could possibly disturb his balance?

Simple Movements. The delicate footsteps of that human child captivated his senses. Guided by him, her responses seemed to flow in a rhythm of fleeting seconds, yet they quickened to a pace so swift that even he struggled to keep up. As she drew nearer, her eyes sparkled like the stars the night sky refused to unveil. Challenging. Bold. With a teasing glimmer that made his throat run dry, she edged closer.

He inhaled deeply, twirling his staff around them in a playful dance. This time, there was no aggression, no predatory certainty; the Monkey King sought to enchant her.

Reserved, she had been during their first encounter. Marked by the weight of the world, she had shielded herself, unwilling to break free from her defenses to avoid the risk of vulnerability. He had taught her the necessity of shedding that armor. Now, she was attentive, vigilant, able to anticipate his every move, deflect his strikes, and see through his deceptions. In battle, she stood resolutely by his side; without her, he found himself adrift, unsure of what drove him onward.

Looking down, he met her gaze. Something profound lay within the depths of her celestial realm—more than mere respect, a connection he was eager to reciprocate in this very moment.

Wùkōng's grin widened, yet pure joy felt distinctly different. Deep within him, a faint pull stirred, one he could not name. Heavily, the staff rested in his hands, his movements slowing under its weight.

Silently, he sought her permission, raising his arm once more. Answering, a fleeting nod.

Gently, he caressed her cheek as the shape of his staff transformed in his grip. He wove it, now no larger than a hairpin, into her tousled dark strands.

Not even the moon could now rival her beauty.

Cautiously, her fingers curled around his, sending a surge of warmth through him. She was alive. Mortal. The clarity of this realization nearly stole his breath away. A mere human child, destined to leave him behind while he remained.

He resisted the truth, unable to accept it. He longed for her, to hold her close, to shield her from the world. This yearning struck him with greater force than any battle he had ever faced.

A heavy sigh escaped Wùkōng as he bent down, pressing his lips to her forehead. She would not stay forever, but in this fleeting moment, she belonged to him, just as he belonged to her.

Pulling her closer, her arms encircled his back, and a sigh escaped her lips, too.

Still he had become when she began to hum a soft, familiar melody. Floating between them, it broke the spell of his stillness, and he embraced her sound. Gently, his hands found her waist, their feet moving in the same rhythm—slow, flowing—until no boundary remained between them.

A distant call shattered the tranquility. They both paused, and in that shared breath, an exhale escaped them. For an instant, silence enveloped them, then laughter bubbled forth, light and free, dispelling the heaviness once more. Whenever the world threatened to stand still, Zhu Bajie had a way of pulling it back into motion.

Wùkōng lowered his head again, whispering his love against her skin. Still smiling, they gently released each other from their embrace, following in harmony the direction from which the voice had come, their fingers lingering, tenderly entwined.

Was able to watch the forbidden kingdom on YouTube, and I frickin loved it, and now I wanna write some Sun Wukong x reader where the reader ended up in China with Jason and after the fight with the Jade Warlord, the reader stays in China while Jason goes back. And Sun Wukong has an interest in the reader.

Would you guys be interested in me writing this idea?

So these are wips i’m working on currently cause I figured I should probably post more stuff.

I’ve decided to use a scene from the movie “The Forbidden Kingdom” for this comic.

Wukongs red eyes are driving me crazy honestly, but I’m too stubborn. I’m determined to make it work.

This would be the first time i’m drawing Macaque, so I decided to play around with his look and gave him long hair. Though I’m using lmk characters and Macaques looks are kinda based on the show (mostly for the scarf), I do want to create my own look for him. So the lineart may look one way but the color pallet probably won’t reflect lmk mac.

Next this is my Wip for Tripitaka from before he meets the group as low-key part of a series of drawings that started with my first Wukong drawing [click here for that] I don’t know how I feel about it currently though and I might scrap it for a drawing referencing his backstory cause I feel like not enough people explore that part of the story.

Also I never mentioned this but despite drawing Monkey D Luffy from One Piece all the time, and my vampire sona wearing a sailors captain hat, I HATE DRAWING HATS! And this particular head-dress is extremely intricate. A lot of cartoons simplify the head-dress, but if you look it up, it’s really detailed. I wanted to be accurate and maybe flew too close to the sun attempting it, so in the future it may stay simplified like it is here.
