How… does Robin’s costume work?

A question long asked by everyone. But mostly by me.

Well. I’ll tell you.

First thing’s first, we’re talking about classic Robin, Dick Grayson Robin, this Robin:

There’s a common misconception that Robin’s shirt is one piece (as in a red shirt with green sleeves) and that his panties are separate. You see a lot of people refer to his outfit as having green panties. You, like me, may have heard it before many a time.

Unfortunately. Dick Grayson is not going out every night in a shirt, panties, and a cape.

He’s literally wearing a green leotard with a red vest over it.

Literally just a green leotard. He’s never been wearing panties at all. It’s been a leotard this whole time!

Also, just as a side note, I think it’s kind of funny that his mask is almost always portrayed as black, except in this panel where he isn’t wearing it and it becomes green. Is it double-sided, black and green? No, the colours in the 60’s Teen Titans comics are just funky sometimes. And, they needed the mask to stand out from the black background.

THAT KUDO IS SO SHORT HE TUCKS HIS PANTS IN HIGH BOOTS.

Bruce wears those pants just fine, so he wears normal shoes. But Kudo? Look at how big they are on him. He wears boots almost up to his KNEES just to wear those pants. They're so baggy on him that the middle part for where the crotch goes, it's also almost down to his knees

Guy, where'd you get the pants? Are you just that short? Or did you take them from the long-legged Bruce?

I just think Hunter was obsessed with Willow and didn't even know it during the period from any sport in a storm to labyrinth runners. They maybe don't talk as often as they could, they're both busy and have conflicting schedules, so when they do talk, Hunter absorbs everything she says.

After roughly 3 weeks of texting (hexting? I feel like the kids would call it hexting), He knows that her favorite colour is orange, she likes her tea with extra milk and a bit of honey during winter, she likes working out to the noisiest angriest music in her playlist, her dad Gilbert is a construction witch who specialises in pottery, she used to listen to breakup songs and think about her childhood best friend (Hunter doesn't know it's Amity) and she actually has a mild pollen allergy despite being a plant witch and has to take potions for it.

He casually drops all this info piece by piece during their stay in the human realm and willows like. Well I can't not marry him. It'll have to be a winter or fall wedding to account for her allergies </3

Had a great time playing in fright flight this weekend as super hero Barbie! Costume frisbee tournaments and day drinking in the sun with friends makes for a wonderful time. We were “professional beach” and the unicorn was our “patriarchy” 😂

i legally cant look at the last supper pic lest i fall back into my religion fixation (context...you dont need context but its A Lot lemme just say that) HOWEVER. i think its very cute that they made the picture in the first place and the choices for which character is which person (like adachi being andrew whomst was the first apostle and aw he was ichis first feller cute) are really good like they were kinda smartsies with that even with the different versions they have goin on swapping some of them they still like fit agh whatever i just think the pic is cutesy thats all i wanted to say cause everyone else was talkin about it (⌒_⌒;)

i think its fair to take time to appreciate the placements of everyone; i am an appreciator of when things like this are done so its neat to see how things sync :]
