AHHH I LOVE THIS (might project in this one because I’ve recently been feeling ugly asf because of my Telogen Effluvium (stress induced hair loss)

Warnings: insecurity, mild suggestive themes at the end.

You’d be in the bathroom holding back tears while trying to do your hair for the date you were supposed to go on with your boyfriend Johnny. You can’t seem to get your hair right and it shows way too much of your face. Or so you think.

“Can I come in bonnie? Wanna see how pretty you look.”

You sniffle and try to make your voice sound as convincing it can be.

“Um. Not yet! I- I’m not dressed!” You say hesitantly.

“Now I really wanna come in.” He says, and you can hear the smirk in his voice and you roll your eyes.

“C’mon, please? Wanna see my girllll.” He whines out and you give in.

“Ok fine. come on in.” You say, and he does.

He comes in the bathroom and smiles at you, even though your head is down, pretending to rummage through your makeup bag for something.

Johnny wraps his arms around your waist and rests his head on your shoulder, looking at you in the mirror.

“Hey girlie.” He coos with a smile, but you don’t look up.

“Hey.. look up bonnie. Wanna see that pretty little face of yours.” He says as he goes to reach for your jaw with one hand and forces your head up so you look in the mirror.

His smile drops and his brows furrow when he sees the tear streaks and your puffy eyes.

“What’s the matter dovey?” He asks with genuine concern. “Why ya crying??” He turns you around so you face him and he looks at your face still, waiting for an answer.

“I- I don’t know I just… can’t get my hair right, my makeup isn’t blending well, I hate the way this sundress fits me, I- I just feel kinda ugly I guess.” You sniffle but drop your head down and look at your hands.

“Oh sweetheart…” Johnny coos.

“Look at me.” He says softly, and you don’t, so he lifts your chin up with his hand.

“I said look at me lass.” He says, still in a soft tone.

“You look absolutely gorgeous. Fuckin’ stunning. You could have your hair in all different directions, a bin bag on, and dirt smeared all over your face and you’d still be the most beautiful woman in the world.” He says, still holding your face.

“I think your hair looks beautiful, and your makeup too. I like the eyeshadow color you chose. Makes those pretty eyes that much more captivating as if they ever could entrance me any more. And this sun dress?”

A smirk begins to form on Johnny’s face as he turns you back around to face the mirror and he places his hands on your thighs and runs them up under your dress until they’re squeezing your hips.

“This dress was fuckin’ made for you. God you know how I love sundresses on you. You replace every star in the sky with just how much you shine my love.” He says into your ear and you sniffle again, but your lips twitch with a small smile.

“Now look in the mirror and say that you are the prettiest woman in the world.” He says, and you look at him.

“Johnny-“ you start, but he interrupts you.

“Ah- say it.” He demands.

You bite your lip for a second, cringing at what he wants you to say, because you don’t believe it. But you look at him and try anyway.

“Don’t say it to me. I already know. Say it to yourself.” He demands again, and grips your jaw again to look at yourself in the mirror and not at him.

“I- I am the prettiest woman in the world.” You mumble.

“Again.” He says.

“I am the prettiest woman in the world.” You say again, with more confidence, and your cheeks heat up with embarrassment.

“Aye- that you are bonnie.” He says, finally satisfied with your response.

“Now, let’s go out on our date hm? Wanna show everyone who my pretty little lass is.” He says into your ear as he squeezes your hips which makes you giggle as his facial hair tickles your skin.

“And when we get back?” He whispers lowly this time with a smirk, “I’m gonna prove to you again right between your thighs just how bloody fuckin’ beautiful you are.” He says, and you let out a little gasp which makes him laugh.

You forgot all about your insecurities with Johnny, because it was just you and him, and that’s all that ever mattered in the first place.

First than anything, hi you! Sharky here! How's everything going? I'm kind of impatient and super excited for mirror mirror's update LOL. Okay, so you see, things have happened.

And..And.. WE CUDDLED.

We cuddled. Ok. We cuddled. Actually, I have already slept there this monday. YES. You're reading right. Her house is near the place I work, and she invited me to go to her house to watch movies together! Of course I said yes. We went to her house and then it was late, and I was gonna go home but she offered me to stay there. And. And listen, she drove me to work. And have I said that I find it strangely attractive that she drives? Because I do bUT HEAR ME OUT.

Everything she does looks so graceful. Like, she could be.. I don't know. Shoveling shit. And she'd still look so, so gorgeous and elegant. And I mean it 😭. She holds herself with such poise and I just.. Idk. She's just so cute and pretty and graceful.

That day we didn't cuddle perse? I mean, we actually kind of cuddled already, you know. A few times actually. While we watch movies or stuff. But I mean cuddling while we sleep. And.. well, that day I was kinda sick, and we slept super close but I was kind of burning up a bit and it was pretty damn hot so I just slept outside the blankets.

Thing is, yesterday I went to her house again after the gym. And we kind of cuddled in the couch while we watched the whole Hunger games saga by her request and she offered me to stay at her place again. And when we went to sleep she cuddled me and held me so close and she was like "this okay?" And I was like about to foam in the mouth lIKE YES LKVE SUPER OKAU KJFKSJDKSKDJ. And we just cuddled the whole night. And I'm so fucking gay

I might just be falling for her already who am I kidding. IT FELT SO GOOD. She was so warm and so so soft and kfkwkfkekfke I loved it.

I mean, I was awkward asf at first because I didn't know where the fuck to look at or how tight should I hug her but at some point I just relaxed and it felt so natural. Today I woke up and sweet sweet Charlie made mE TEA. (Oh yes, yet again it was so awful but the sweetness of the gesture erased away all — if that's how you spell it — uggliness). And guess where am I now, dear dear Van.

Oh yes. At her place. Yet again.

We've been playing just dance together and I don't think I ever laughed this hard KFKAKFKSKD. Such poise and yet she looks so stiff (I tripped and almost fell 2 times but I'll still judge her). Though I have to say that she had some moves KFKSKD. Or maybe I am a crazy simp already.

We sang sooo much in the drive to her house and I had kind of a dejavu of that ✨magnificent✨ moment of mirror mirror where Wanda screams her lungs singing enchanted because at some point all too well started reproducing and MAN. Well, yeah, that's the update. This weekend we'll have another date. Her surprise date, Van KDKSMDMS. Also.. I should mention that she asked about my family? Thing is, heh, my family is kinda small, only my dad and uncle, and.. Well, my dad's girlfriend put a restraining order on my dad for domestic violence and sexual abuse last year 😃 and I've been ignoring him all this time and my uncle kind of hates me because I'm gay and whenever he used to comment something about it I rubbed in his face that I'm an ugly, despicable lesbian so we haven't talked to eachother in years 😃 and the rest of my family is dead so haha omg I've got no family to present her to KFKSKFKSKD HELP. I don't want her to pity me but I kind of pity myself already so KFKAKDKE LOL. And she has a large, supporting family and this is gonna be so damn awkward if I ever meet her parents like daAMN. My girl's got two dads and a mom and I got none bro JAKDJANDN. I know this is so random but lemme tell you a joke.

Yawn. “Y/N! Cover your mouth for Christ’s sake!”

“Sorry,” I said through another yawn. Eunji simply rolled her eyes. “I didn’t get much sleep last night.”

“Yah, you say that every day!” I sighed. It was true after all. For the past few weeks, I hadn’t been sleeping enough let alone at all sometimes. I sipped on my tea as Eunji scrolled through her social media. Suddenly, her phone began to ring. “Hello,” she asked picking up the call.

“Who is it,” I mouthed. Eunji was about to say something back but instead began talking to whoever was on the other side.

“Okay, I understand, I’m on my way now,” she said. Eunji chatted for a another minute or so before hanging up. “Y/N-ah, I’m-”

“Don’t you dare apologize,” I scolded with a slight smile. “Call me later and we can get coffee another time, okay?”

“You are the best! I’ll text you later!”

“Bye, Eunji,” I sighed as she left the café. I finished my tea and paid before heading out as well. I shivered once I stepped out onto the chilly street. I shoved my hands into my pockets and began making my way home. About ten minutes before I reached my apartment, my phone buzzed. I opened my bag and grabbed it to see a text from Taehyung.

‘Y/N, Jin wants to have a movie night and we wanted to borrow your Apple TV, is that ok?? You can stay too if you want :D’

I sighed, exhausted.

‘Idk Tae, I just got home…’

‘OK fine. When should I bring it by?’

I sent him an “okay” as I entered the lobby of my complex. I rode the elevator, far too tired to take the stairs. Once I got inside my apartment, I walked straight into my room and passed out in bed.

“Terrible!”

“Ugly!”

“Obese!”

Gasping, I shot forward. I fell backward and calmed my frantic breathing as brushed hair off my sweaty forehead. I groaned at the time, noticing I had only slept for two, measly hours. Just as I was about to lay down again, I heard my phone ringing. I walked across the room and answered.

“Hello,” I half mumbled, rubbing my eyes.

“Y/N-ah? Are you okay,” a worried Jungkook asked.

“Um, yeah why?”

“Tae said you were supposed to bring by your Apple TV like an hour ago-”

“Shit! I’m on my way now,” I said cutting him off before hanging up. I threw on a fresh shirt and ran a brush through my hair before rushing out the door.

I arrived at the dorms about twenty minutes later, my Apple TV and Apple Remote stashed in my bag. Namjoon let me in and I was greeted by the rest of the members. I placed my tote bag on the edge of the couch and handed Jin the things, letting them know I wasn’t going to hook it up.

“Have fun you guys,” I said.

“You’re not going to leave are you,” Hoseok said as Yoongi shot me a look of disappointment.

“I’m not feeling too well today is all.”

“Oh come on! We’re watching your favourite,” Jin insisted. I protested but ended up sitting on the couch with the lights dimmed. The atmosphere wasn’t helping me stay awake in the slightest either. I was sandwiched between Jungkook and Jimin. Jimin had stolen a blanket all to himself, forcing me to share one with Jungkook, which I didn’t mind. I tucked my feet beneath me as The Prince’s Bride began to play. As we were introduced to Farm Boy, I felt my eyelids grow heavy.

It wasn’t long before I leaned my head against Jungkook’s shoulder and we cuddled up to each other. We always snuggled up together whenever we had a movie night. I closed my eyes as I listened to the story, slowing drifting off.

When I awoke, the credits were playing, I rubbed my eyes and stretched, looking around at the others. Namjoon, Jin, Hoseok, and Yoongi seemed to have disappeared somewhere, Jimin was passed out next to me, Tae was asleep on the floor, and Jungkook was reading something on his phone. He glanced over and smiled at me.

“Oh, you’re awake?” His voice was quiet, in an attempt to not wake the others. I nodded. “I didn’t expect you to fall asleep during Prince’s Bride, it’s not like you.”

“I’m just tired,” I whispered back. “I should probably head home,” I said trailing off.

“I’ll grab your apple TV-”

“It’s fine, I’ll get it later this week, I just need to crash, man.” Jungkook let out a small sigh and said an OK as I stood up. I grabbed my bag and put on my layers. As I was about to open the door, Jungkook did it for me.

“You’re crazy if you think I’m letting you get home alone at this time of night.” I nodded and led the way out of the dorms. We walked back in a semi-comfortable silence, both of us chilled to the bone by the cold weather. Once we got to my apartment, I invited Jungkook inside.

“You’re going to get a cold, Jin will kill me!”

“Fine,” he pouted. A small smile slipped onto my face and we went up to my floor. I unlocked the door but then stopped before opening it. I was suddenly petrified by the thought of him seeing what a wreck my apartment was.

“Is it stuck again?” My door was notorious for getting stuck. It was slightly tilted so it also got caught at the top.

“Um, no, I’m just a little out of it, sorry,” I pushed open the door and we walked into the mess. “Sorry for the mess,” I trailed off yet again.

“It’s okay-”

“But I should keep things-”

“Y/N-ah.” I turned and looked at him with large eyes. “It’s okay, I promise.” I nodded and frowned slightly. Jungkook and I removed our shoes and he went to the kitchen, grabbing the kettle and putting it on. I went over to the couch and began to straighten out the pillows and clean up the coffee table.

“Tea?” He nodded. “Is it caffeinated?” Jungkook spun around.

“Why would it be caffeinated?”

“I’m not sure, I’m sorry I’m really not all here.”

“Y/N-ah?” I looked up from the coffee table. “Are you doing alright? You seem a bit off lately.”

“Me? I’m chill,” I replied a little too fast. Jungkook only nodded, but I knew he didn’t buy my bullshit for a split second. I sat down on the now somewhat neat couch and curled up under a blanket. Jungkook moved over to the door and turned the heater up a bit. “Thanks.”

“Of course,” he said smiling. After the tea was done, he sat with me on the couch and filled me in on his week. I nodded along but I felt like I was going to fall over I was so tired. “Y/N?”

“Hm?”

“Are you listening?” I nodded. “I think maybe you should go to bed-”

“No, I’m good, keep going-”

“Y/N-ah, you’re falling asleep in front of me. I think you’ve worked yourself too hard again.” Jungkook set his tea down on the coaster and took mine from my hands as well.

“Kookie, I don’t need sleep. It’s not worth wasting time.”

“Y/N, that’s not a waste of time, it’s sleeping. You need energy. Have you not been sleeping well? Is that why you’ve been blowing us off this month?” I fell quiet. “Y/N, are you okay?” I felt my eyes start to water.

“Sleeping just isn’t too pleasant,” I choked out. I felt a pair of arms around me and nuzzled my head into Jungkook’s chest.

“Is it like school?” I nodded. “I’m sorry.” Jungkook knew about the night terrors when they first started happening in high school. I was under too much stress from my home life situation and school and everything else that teenagers have to deal with. One day, Jungkook wouldn’t take my bullshit any longer and I gave in, telling him about how I slept for a few hours every couple of days. After that, he started talking to me on the phone as I fell asleep. Then when that stopped working, Facetiming, which worked for about a month. Once that method wasn’t helping anymore, he would sneak into my room almost every night and help me sleep.

“Y/N-ah?” I snapped back into reality. “If I stay like old times, will you sleep?” I hesitated but nodded.

“My room is messy though-”

“Y/N-ah, I don’t mind. You know this.” I nodded again. “Let’s go to bed, okay?”

“Okay.” While I was still wrapped in the blanket, Jungkook picked me up and carried me to my room where he cleared off the tens of books on my bed. He threw me his sweatshirt from earlier and some pants before he left the room to clean up the tea. I changed and crawled under the covers, laying the blanket on top. Jungkook returned and dug through my closet for his spare set of clothes. He pulled out a pair of joggers and went around to his side of the bed. I flipped over and when I felt him lay down, I turned back to face him. He smiled at me and held out an arm. I scooted over, laying my head against his chest.

“Thank you.”

“Of course, anything for my Y/N-ah.” And so with that, I fell asleep listening to his heartbeat.

Plot: Sehun shows up home really late at night only to leave but when you try to stop him, things take a really ugly turn with a secret and confessions that may shatter your glass-like relationship.

“Baby your hands are so cold,” you say concernedly, holding Sehun’s hands up towards your lips and try to warm them up by blowing on them.

“Baby?” you ask, moving Sehun’s face towards yours lightly with a finger. “Babe, what’s wrong? What happened?” you inquire softly, observing how distant he seems in the darkness of your messy apartment.

“Hmm? I’m fine. Look, I gotta go,” he says absentmindedly as he takes your hands off of his face. He pushes past you to grab his leather jacket off the couch and you just watch in confusion.

“Where are you going? Its 2 am and you just came home!” you exclaim as you try to block his way to the door.

“I have to go, move out of my way,” he slurs, trying to move around you.

“Not until you tell me where you’re going damnit!” you snap.

“Just get out of my way!” he shouts, trying to push you out his way.

You grab his hand and push him towards the couch, where he just slouches and glares at you with his intense eyes.

“What the fuck is going on? Why are you like this Sehun?” you ask irritatedly, running your fingers through your hair in frustration.

He just sits there in silence, staring at his feet.

You scoff in pure disbelief, “Honestly why do I bother? Maybe its love they said, yea well if this is what love is I don't fuckin’ want it! I don't want to stay here anymore with somebody who’s practically become a stranger to me. This isn't good for the baby, I need to get outta here,” you mutter to yourself as you head into your once shared bedroom and start packing random pieces of clothes.

“What? Did you say ‘baby’? You’re pregnant?” Sehun asks in a soft tone, suddenly holding you as he rests his head on your should and rubbing little circles on your belly.

“I don't know why you're pretending to care, it's not like it’s your baby anyways,” you say bitterly as you push him forcefully.

 “Why are you pushing me away? You were practically begging me to stay,” he says as he pushes you on to the bed.

You roll your eyes and mutter under your breath, “If that’s what you think.”

Sehun ignores your comment and continues as he pins you down by putting his hands on either side of your body, “Where the fuck did you think you were going? And what do you mean it's not my kid?”

“I think you damn well know what I mean,” you retort as you break free from his grip. “How did things get so bad? We were perfectly happy a few months ago, what went wrong?”

“I don't know baby, but do you want to change that?” he asks gently, looking at you with genuinity.

“Yea. Yea I do but I don't think it’s gunna work with you. Look at you, look at me, look at us. We’re both just broken puzzle pieces that just won’t ever connect because, it never did. What we thought we had was nice but it wasn't real. What’s going on Sehun? How did we fuck up so badly,” you break down as you sob into his grey t-shirt as he holds you reassuringly, patting your hair gently.
