What’s the craziest roleplay have you seen so far?
Depends what you mean honestly?
Craziest that I’ve been part of in terms of “oh shit that actually just happened we did that emotional shit-“? Probably still the “My Perseus” interaction on Fable.
Craziest in terms of “what the fuck just happened?” Whatever the fuck just went down on WWSMP with the wall and the pit, honestly- Or the Cantripped “Hey I’m Dan” interaction in Episode 14
Craziest that I’ve witnessed other people doing? Honestly a tough call that I can’t think of an answer for, all my mutuals are super talented and I’m floored by their performances every time

im having some togame and choji thoughts this evening and to sum it up would be this scene from Good Omens.
togame to choji (during choji's leadership of shishitoren, pre-Bofurin's intervention):
Tumblr media
The line "You go too fast for me" is often used in a romantic subtext, that boils down to one being ready to jump straight into the relationship, into love, but the other is more hesitant or rather still getting comfortable with the other.
In a platonic subtext (haha ironic cuz of the quote and it's the ineffable husbands i'm using rn) and literal sense, Choji goes to fast for Togame to keep up with. In their mannerism and in their principles.
Before the intervention, Choji wanted the next best thing as quickly as possible, letting everything on the journey there pass him by (literally and figuratively). He quite literally forgot or was ignorant of the fact he had everything he needed on his path to his goal. Choji wanted to reach his finish line (being the leader) soon while Togame watches his own finish line (supporting Choji) keep running away from him.
It's not like Togame didn't try to keep up, he did! Him changing himself and bearing the dirty work of Choji just so others in the group would continue seeing Choji in a postive light like before was his pitiful attempt to do so. With him probably thinking this method would be the only way to continue being by his side and support him. In the end, all he ended up doing was he just widened the gap between him and Choji further. It was only thanks to some revelations (and ass beating) that he was able to realize that and they fortunately can still mend the gap.
...
they make me so sad i swear.

Kynseed has fully released on Steam today! So, as celebration I drew a quick Mr. Fairweather for the occasion.

If you don't know, the most simple way I can describe the game is if Fable and Stardew Valley had a child.
Quite literally because it is made by some veteran Fable devs!

The Missing Moral
This is something I wanna talk about. It’s been bugging me for a great deal for a while now. I’m not sure if it has been brought up, but if it has, I’ve never seen that discussion. Okay, here we go.
When people talk about the fight between Team RWBY and the Ace-Ops in “With Friends Like These”, a common topic is how the Ops lose because they ‘ignored the moral of their stories’
For those who are not familiar, characters in RWBY are inspired or themed around figures in popular or obscure myths, folklore, or fiction. The Ace-Ops, as you can guess by their names, are themed on the Aesop Fables, short stories designed to teach a lesson. For example, Marrow Amin is based on the Dog who loses his bone because he thinks his reflection in a pond is another dog with a bone and wants ‘the other dog’s’ bone as well. The moral here is that you shouldn’t be greedy.
Harrier Bree is based on the Hare from that classic bit, the Tortoise and the Hare. In that story, the Hare agrees to race against the Tortoise, but is so confident that he’ll win that he takes a nap once he’s far enough ahead. The Hare sleeps so soundly that the Tortoise is able to pass and win the race.
In the show, Harrier quickly zeroes in on Ruby Rose as her opponent (Given that she’s already asserted to be faster and in response to a taunt Ruby made at the beginning of the fight.). During the fight, Harrier is completely unyielding, refusing to give up even when her hands are bound. This actually plays a big part in why she ends up losing. Her hyperfocus on beating Ruby prevents her from supporting her teammates, and she becomes so fixated that she fails to see Weiss materializing a wall of ice and knocks herself out.
My point is, the Hare didn’t take the Tortoise seriously as an opponent and loses, while Harrier became so invested in beating Ruby that she ends up defeating herself.
Funny how that works, isn’t it?

The Tortoise and the Hare
This fable is about a tortoise and hare who decided to race one day to prove who is the fastest.
The hare is very confident and races ahead of the tortoise.
However, because he is so cocky, he decides to have a nap.
The tortoise goes by him, and by the time the hare wakes up, the tortoise is nearly at the end. The hare dashes to keep up, but loses.
The message of the fable is, "Slow and steady, wins the race," and that being swift doesn't automatically mean you will ring.
I didn't understand the message till a couple of weeks ago, but what I learnt from it is, keep going no matter how far it is you are going to. Slow and steady will eventually win you the race and goal
