been a while since I posted these guys. I think. these guys are for my aiw adaptation(??) "Curiosity by Another Name". in order: Charlotte Velveteen/March Hare, Phineas Glazier/Mad Hatter, Alice Glazier, and Morphie Mouse/Dormouse. they're the main characters/group that's focused on the most, I like to call them the "Mad Tea Family" bc its fun.

Mad Tea....Family? Sure. Why not. My versions of the March Hare, Mad Hatter, Alice, and Dormouse!! I love them all dearly, my chaotic found family <;3 (i say like that isn't all of my oc groups).

From left to right it's Charlotte "Charlie" Hare, Phineas Hatter, Alice Glazier, Morpheus "Morphie" Mouse. Yes Morhpe's name is technically a pun/haha funny joke. Unfortunately in-universe only Alice is the one who understands the irony(?) of his name 😞

uuhhh idk. i think abt them a lot so idk what to say lol. uhm i know most adaptations make the march hare a dude (with the exception i think of dc's march harriet but like that's not really aiw yknow) sssoooo Be Nice. I haven't had a bad experience in this fandom yet and i'd hate it to start over something like transing a character. sorry i had to put that little disclaimer at least once, i have not had the best fandom experiences in the past so i gotta Protect myself yknow.

OTHER THAN THAT LOL you're free to ask anything about them, i love them dearly and WILL take any opportunity to talk about my ocs (they're like that weird middle ground between "canon character" & "OC" lksjdf idk ya'll)

Hatterhare hcs bc they mean everything to me <3 uhhmm based on my version/interpretation of them btw!

They met each other when they were 10. Hatter saved Hare from some dangerous plants/wildlife & they’ve gotten along like wildfire ever since!

Had on/off crushes on each other for practically all their lives but never acted on them out of fear of ruining their relationship until they had a one night stand & had to confront their feelings head on.

They love kids!! The amount of children they have accidentally adopted/taken in is…a lot lol. Seriously, by now they have a Reputation for being eccentric babysitters. It’s on their business card.

Adding onto that ^ the Dormouse is their child ok that is their BOY. he's their best friend he's their pal he's their homeboy their rotten soldier their sweet cheese their good time boy etc etc.

When they announced they were dating, everyone was like "you mean you. weren't before????"

Hatter usually wakes up super early (all that tea & cake doesn’t make itself!) so he’s usually the one that makes breakfast. On the rare occasion Hare wakes up first, he likes to let Hatter sleep in, even if Hatter complains about it.

They are sssoooo clingy. Handholding, leaning on each other, etc. It is impossible for them to be in the same vicinity without some sort of physical contact going on.

90% of the time their conversations are incoherent because it’s mainly just inside jokes they have with each other. The other 10% is because they're little shits that like confusing people.

Oh they absolutely LOVE dancing with each other. There is no style of dance they have not tried at least once. I think their favorites/the styles they like most are waltzing & the tango.

mmmm he's a he/it bitch. and a cat, so gender has no meaning to him, but if it had to choose, then a mix of male && nonbinary. nonbinyanary, if you will.

My Cheshire, like nearly all my ocs, is bisexual! I can't see him having much of a preference -- he'll date whatever catches his fancy. He did have a wife, though.

🖕 A headcanon relating to anger

SO funny story, I wrote out an answer (...at work lol) and then remembered I already wrote out an answer previously for a similar ask on a different blog! But then I checked and turns out I remembered wrong. So now you're getting what I originally wrote instead.

ANYWAY, bottom line is, Phineas has trouble dealing with any emotion other than "happy" (yay toxic positivity), so he'll adamantly deny that he's upset over anything. Unfortunately for him, he gets heated quickly, and over the most random things, too. This usually results in passive aggressive rants, typically while he's doing another task (which will result in said ask being poorly done, adding to his annoyance). Uhm his rants often go like "blah blah blah ok im done" *2 second later* "anD ANOTHER THING---"

😶 A random headcanon!

Ooo Henry loves plants! Especially the super dangerous ones. He has his own garden with a mix of different "normal" and "dangerous" plants, which he often crossbreeds for fun. Sometimes he'll sell them but mostly he just keeps them && tries to make more crimes against nature. He would absolutely LOVE little shop of horrors if he ever saw it && def fawn over DC's Poison Ivy like a fanboy lol.

Though its absolutely not the longest playlist I have on Spotify. Thats 8hrs 32min && goes to my favorite oc (who....is also a bisexual magician. I have a type 😶)

Uhm if people are interested I can post the rest of my aiw playlists. Family Tree time!! Except I can't show you the actual family tree because it's...got a lotta people on it lol. Most are just for filler, I swear. But!! I managed to write down the Important Members of my Alice's family, specifically her ancestors && descendants.

Phineas Hatter: The motherfucker that started it all lmao. He fell into Wonderland at age 10 in 1608 after exploring with his friend Blake Grimm. The two got attacked by the Jabberwocky, and while Blake was able to escape and return home, Phineas was driven further into Wonderland. Phineas is the Mad Hatter. He is loud, sociable, and somehow always in trouble. Him and Alice have a familial/parent-child relationship, as he took her in and cared for her when she fell into Wonderland.

Gwen White: Gwen is next, falling into Wonderland at age 12 in 1664. Shockingly, she did find a way back to Reality! Unfortunately she was thrown into an asylum, which she escaped and fell into Wonderland yet again, this time for good. Gwen is the White Queen. She is quiet, timid, and hates conflict. Her and Alice do not interact often, but they have positive views of each other.

Viktoria Glazier: Viktoria fell into Wonderland when she was 14 in 1720. She was trained by Spade Soldiers to be a knight, whereafter she joined the Spade Army. As an army of Wonderland, they fought pointless yet fatal wars that were often reminiscent of board games, leaving Vikrotia with a great deal of trauma and trust issues. She later quit the Spade Army and began working for Thomas Blanc/White Rabbit as a maid, going by Mary Anne to distance herself from that part of her life. Her and Alice have a sister-like relationship, though it is a little strained due to Viktoria’s aforementioned trust issues.

And then there’s Alice Glazier, who arrives in Wonderland at age 19 in 2022. Like all the humans that came to Wonderland, she, too, attempted to leave before resigning that she’d live there forever. Except…no, she was forced to go back and act like Wonderland didn’t exist, like all of that didn’t just happen. Well, unfortunately for everyone else, Wonderland was Alice’s home now, and she was going to find a way back to it. She is curious, tries to see the good in everyone, and a little insecure about her own abilities. Though she has made many friends and allies in Wonderland, the Tea Party Trio (Phineas/Hatter, Henry/Hare, & Morphie/Dormouse) will always be her family.

Finnegan Glazier: Finnegan is the son and first child of Alice Glazier and Wendy Dear. He is named after Phineas Hatter, a fact he is indifferent/on the verge of annoyance on. Finnegan has an interest in journaling and photography. He highly dislikes fantasy/fairytales and is very tired of hearing about what his mothers did when they were his age. He does not get along with Alice due to her more adventurous personality, which results in many arguments. After one such argument, he broke one of her mirrors in a fit of rage, which transported him to Looking-glass Land. Later on he publishes both his & Alice’s stories, under the pseudonym Lewis Carroll. He is also the main character of the Tale “Through the Looking Glass”.

Carrie Glazier: Carrie is the daughter and second child of Alice Glazier and Wendy Dear. Like Alice, she is curious and adventurous, but is a lot more cautious of her actions. She does not get along with Wendy due to her more strict personality, leading to a strained relationship. In an effort to bond, Wendy tells her about Neverland, revealing that she had an extra bag of pixie dust Captain Hook gave her if she ever wanted to return. This results in an argument in which Carrie steals the bag, flying to Neverland herself. She is the main character of the Tale “Return to Neverland” (name subject to change).

Rosemary Glazier: Rosemary is the daughter of Carrie Glazier and Alice’s granddaughter/only grandchild. She is polite, soft spoken, and loves listening to old radio dramas. Unlike her ancestors, Rosemary was actually born in Wonderland, and it is the only home she has ever known. Unfortunately, her parents died when she was quite young, leaving her in the care of Phineas and Henry, who raised her as their own. She is part of a variation of the Tale “The Scorpion and the Frog”, taking the role of the Frog.

I wrote another aiw oneshot, this time focusing on Alice & Hatter. uh it started out as a vent but then I just...kept writing lol. you can probably tell which parts were venting but that's ok. tomorrow I plan on finishing another hatterhare fic so we'll return to our regularly scheduled gay idiots soon I prommy <3

That post I just rb'd but it's Phineas & Charlotte. Phineas is showing Charlie a slew of magic tricks (bc he's a magician of course he's gonna practice lame ass magic tricks) and of course the Handcuff Trick is there.

For some reason Charlie doesn't even think about it she's just like "yeah sure let's do it!" like girl. the Consequences. (she was just thinkin about being closer to her crush lbr). SO they're handcuffed. and. uhm. Phineas? Where...are the keys??? Cue Phineas frantically calling Morphie (they're at Charlotte's house) and of course Morphie doesn't pick up, because he's sleeping.

So then they have to get to Phineas' house to see if the keys are there and they're like...pretending to be upset about it?? Like neither really WANT to be handcuffed to the other but at the same time...they both have huge ass crushes on each other so the TENSION. And then they find the keys n they're both like "ah...what a shame -- I mean THANK GOD LMAO THAT WAS TERRIBLE LOL" followed by a Live Morphie Reaction.

Sshh....its bedtime. If you ask nicely, maybe you'll get a story before bed as a treat! 💤📚

Phineas likes to tell stories. Morphie doesn't like falling asleep alone. And so, their little bedtime ritual eventually evolved into Phineas telling Morphie a story before bed, which shows no sign of stopping soon.

After Alice starts living with them, she joins in. Partly because Morphie's bed/room is super comfy, and partly because the stories Phineas tells are absolutely fascinating to her. So, her & Morphie have sleepovers often. He even gave her some new pajamas, shown here, because she had literally nothing when she arrived in Wonderland.

The story Phineas is telling here is based off the Jabberwocky poem. In my version, Phineas is the one entrusted with the Vorpal Sword, with the intent to kill Gary (The Jabberwocky). That's a whole other story, though.

Goodness this took far longer than I wanted/anticipated. But hey,, he's here: my version of the Mad Hatter! Most of that is on school tho. Did I end up looking at a lot of Jervis Tetch fanart? .....Yes but that was mostly on me I take full responsibility for that.

His name is Phineas & technically he doesn't have a last name, people just started calling him "Hatter" and he was like ok guess that's my last name now 🤷‍♂️

Anyway this man is kinda terrible. He regularly breaks the law (when Wonderland decides to enforce it) and constantly gets in trouble thanks to his stupid mouth. He is such a nuisance that the Queen of Hearts has declared him as such. He is legally Wonderland's Local Crazy Man.

I mean to do more concepts but I fell in love with the 3rd design & just wanted him finished lol.

Idk if I mentioned this already but I feel like it's important to note that they're all adults. Alice is the youngest at 18, Morphie is a couple of years older than her, so around 20-22?? And Phineas & Henry are in their late 30s - early 40s (I know they don't look it please shut up !!!).

I'd give more fun facts about these guys but. Idk. I'm tired & want to give anyone actually looking at these a break from the walls of text that usually accompany my art lol. I'll probably post those separately, maybe. If I remmeber.
