Ermmm season 4 of The Umbrella Academy HAS to be a joke… Lila and Five? Five would NEVER. I’m so disappointed in the way it ended. I genuinely feel like season 1 and 2 are the best seasons. They actually had a correlation. Season 3 wasn’t that bad but season 4? Omg i will never stop talking about this till the day i die. The way the season ended suckeddd like why couldn’t it be a happy ending☹️

The writers could have approached this season differently. Turning Five into a home wrecker and absolutely massacred him as a character is insane. The trailer had me really excited but after watching the first episode i knew it was gonna be worse than season 3. Five really broke character w the whole Lila sitch. It’s upsetting what the writers did to both Five and Lila and it’s not fair to Diego. I really set my expectations too high. The 8 marigold flowers that appeared at the end was cute and all but why didn’t they get to have a happy ending? We were robbed of a great opportunity for the writers to redeem themselves after season 3. It’s all Ben’s fault.

Sorry about the topic hopping, when i write something there is generally no structure at all. Anyways i’m done ranting (for now)

Well guess who’s back to rant again!! Let’s look at it this way. If Five had said no to finding Jennifer then they wouldn’t have gotten the box w the marigold. If they didn’t get the marigold then Ben wouldn’t have given it to them. If Ben didn’t give them the marigold there would be no end of the world. Everyone literally said no to finding Jennifer except for Five.

need to gush about stewart clarke’s javert among other things from our multiple showings of lm these last couple of weeks

clarke is honestly up there for me with terrence mann in terms of my fav javerts….. he honestly kind of looked like him with his dead eyed stare and eyeliner. serving corpse

he was sooooo robotic during every fucking scene he was in apart from the finale but still had this soft emotion during stars. dude had literally no thoughts behind those eyes just staring off into middle distance while fantine is weeping. had 0 reaction to gavroche, thenardier, literally anyone.

single notable reaction pre-alleyway scene was clarke seeing valjean walk into the barricade and just. staring at him. like the entire time while gunfire is going on man is barely ducking or reacting he’s just staring at this dude. impeccable. made funnier by grantaire sitting between them

related sidenote was that i LOVED this grantaire. not someone i typically focus on while watching but tom hext is so so fun, loved his energy and thousand yard stares in equal measure. also fat grantaire based. i’m shocked people don’t go on and on about this dude bc he was also so fun to watch in the ensemble

katie hall was absolutely the best fantine i’ve seen, cried both times. she plays it nice and angry at times with the appropriate amount of acting. wonderful voice. same of the eponine, wonderful talents and spot on casting

i will relegate this to a brief note bc i don’t want to complain endlessly about it but mannnnn this valjean suckeddd. played it way way too angry (did not help that his eyebrows ((naturally??)) are super arched. super arai manga jvj vibes but irl). great voice but no good acting choices or really any at all. i got the distinct impression all this dude knew about the character was the show itself and didn’t really “get” valjean. left me extremely unemotional even in the last bits which is wild

side note to that: i did cry at the beginning of the finale but only bc i remembered nick cartell’s performance and was thinking about that instead. for those unfamiliar he walks with a prisoner’s limp which drives me fucking insane

side side note: the only good thing this valjean did was pause while reading marius’ letter at the word “love” in like an incredulous way. then at the end he crunched the letter up into a ball. extremely in character for the brick and could bring a more interesting depth that the musical lacks but terrible and aggro for no reason in the context of this performance

okay back to javert. his suicide? insane. wonderful acting choices playing it pretty tormented until near the end he was cracking his voice HARD which was just so painful every time. not overly angry at all. also particular more to our first time seeing him—this man was absolutely dribbling spit during some sections. like hanging from his mouth like a dog. you truly cannot do it better than this. it really made the best of what i would call a flawed but potentially good adaptation of javert derailed in a way where i’m sure mr clarke Gets javert and reads derailed like his character bible

i liked the way clarke ran around and writhed around on the ground. dedication.

goes without saying but i imagine clarke’s performance would be even better if he were paired with a more competent valjean. but what can you do 😔

baffled that they took away javert’s costume change during one day more. i have to assume someone thought people were too stupid to realize it’s javert in his little baker boy cap. a loss to us all

why did gavroche have the coconut head haircut

claire made me see this godforsaken show three times. i don’t even want to talk about the understudy javert we had to sit through i want to simply forget

finally finished hornblower. the ending FUCKING SUCKEDDD.

and the thing is that. ok the plot of the movie is that red gets invited to go to auradon prep and her mom takes her to the school and then stages a coup and red takes chloe back in time to the event that caused her mother’s descent into evil and they try to stop it from happening so she ends up good. ok. so what EYE thought was going to happen after this was established, considering that a) brandy cinderella brought up the Event in a vague way that sort of implied she had something to do with it in what i thought would be a sort of wicked-esque way. b) when red’s friend showed her the time machine pocket watch he explicitly warned her that messing with the past can have serious consequences and she’s maybe not ready to fumble with time. so what i figured was going to be the plot of the movie was that red and chloe would try to stop red’s mom from experiencing this awful prank that Turned Her Evil, and chloe would find out HER mom had something to do with it and have to contend with the idea that her mom isn’t perfect and red’s mom isn’t inherently evil. and then i thought they would try to stop this prank but would ultimately fail but gain valuable information on who their mothers are as people so when they return back to their time they haven’t changed the past but can connect with their mothers and change the outcomes of the future. like that’s what i thought. i also thought after the reveal that ursula’s sister was planning this baking prank (with the banned cookbooks…) on red’s mom that the girls would try to keep the cookbook from her but fail and have to go to the dance to stop the prank but chloe’s mom would inadvertently work against them and unknowingly cause this bad thing to happen to red’s mom, setting her on her path to villainy. and then in the present timeline the girls would have a heart to heart (haha. get it. she’s the. 😐 queen of hearts. no. ok) with red’s mom and explain that chloe’s mom never meant to hurt her or whatever and she can’t let this bad thing define her and she can still be good. anyway. that’s what i thought was gonna happen which i already wasn’t super thrilled with but then what actually happened was not that at all and it was worse than anything i imagined as worst case scenario because it didn’t even HAVE a fucking. good climactic ending at all it suckeddd and they experienced zero consequences after their time travel even though making red’s mom not evil should have at the very least caused red to not be born and at the worst caused a whole butterfly effect on wonderland’s involvement in society at large. anyway. i guess it’s not that deep. whatever. also i still think it felt like the plot could have been harry potter fanfiction. and i say that because i’m like 85% sure i’ve seen a fic description on ao3 with a similar plot to this movie. like. time travel stuff wise. don’t ask why i saw that i was doing research.

had the worst day yesterday. things just didn’t go our way. stuck in traffic for more than an hour when the destination was just 20mins away.

and then we realised the park must be closed due to late timings but we had an hour to photoshoot whatever. in the middle, a guard came up to say that cameras weren’t allowed so we went away.

but we ended up nowhere. and we roamed around here and there in search of cab. we started cab hunting from 7 and got one in 8:23.

when almost reaching home, it started raining heavily (thank god we had umbrellas) but alas! just one umbrella couldn’t help us from getting wet.

so ya this is what happened and it suckeddd!!

voltron ending suckeddd man like sucked dick and balls it was so bad. it was JUST the last episode that was bad too like it was a good show until that last episode and it took a nose dive its so crappy.

zero stars do not reccomend i want my money back please and thank you and also i will find you im in your walls benjamin kaltenecker (idk what he does hes just the only guy i see in the credits before i skip to the next episode ((post about not watching credits coming soon ??? idk)) and good choice naming the cow after you like some guy named commander iverson after him but nah just good vibes space cow ((i also love the implication that kaltenecker isnt his name but his breed or species because the shopkeep says get a kaltenecker instead of get a cow)) anyways everyone who said the ending sucked was right but i have alot to say (dude look at my bio what did you expect when you clicked on here)

13. XII/3D could’ve been better, (gonna be really honest here 4-6 is like a blur to me so i probably won’t talk much about those unless i get some weird hyper focus on them) but i don’t think it needs a remake, none of them do their perfect

14. shotgun carousel!! the whole vibe and “lesson” from it specifically was so interesting! it was a more agressive way of showing how picking and choosing affects people’s lives and sometimes (in this case) ending them

15. the eye vacuum EASY, like i get it’s breaking your finger at the knuckles but that’s about a million times better than your eyes getting sucked out

I have been experiencing writter's block recently. I haven't written anything for the whole week (which is unlikely for me).

I have been trying to force myself to write BDLM more and i couldn't... i ended up scrapping everything because it suckeddd.

BUTTTT yesterday i decided to give myself a break from BDLM just to get my creative juices time to think and I started to write Damnation of Saint again anddd guess what???? that went kinda good! I'm at +/- 5.5k and i think i still have to write about 2-3k words.

Soooo i guess... watch out for this next one shot...

today fucking suckeddd. i cried at work because of Reasons (mostly bc, will i still have friends i can hang out with if i end up moving out of state in the next yearish or will i be Alone :/ im scared of my future). i found some drug addict sleeping in the library who is probably gonna be arrested now :( (i couldnt do anything other than what i did so it sucks). also in general the security ppl at my job make me feel uncomfortable by the ways they joke around. and then i got blasted on my fb by an ex-mormon for jokingly saying its possible to be a good person AND not raised christian (and worse i wasnt blameless in this convo, i just am always screwing myself over huh).

and i still cant play video games bc i cant make myself interested. i just want a good day where i go on a gaming binge in sims 3 or something but i cant get myself to want to

edit: oh right and the big blow yesterday when i found out my schools psychiatric services are booked out for 18 months so so much for getting diagnosed

anyways i kept falling asleep again after waking up so another dream i had. i was at a school camp and it suckeddd. it was meal time and we were all in a square room next to a hallway that was wayy too crowded

i tried getting food but kept getting pushed back in line so i missed out on some food i wanted [naan bread :(( ] and was only able to get a small piece of turkish bread

look how delicious it is...... and people kept NEARLY knocking my food over and it was so crowded i had to set my plate on the floor just to make room for myself!!!!!!! i was STARVING and NOT having a good time. but eventually i sit down and then. AND THEN.

<- you see windows were over in THAT direction and it was snowy outside . and a. thing. a "snow scorpion" crawled into the room and everyone got hyped over it like "OH MY GOSH A SNOW SCORPION???" . according to my dream these are completely white scorpions, about the size of your hand including the tail (maybe smaller?) that live in the snow (you know how scorpions are associated with deserts? and how snowy places are like deserts? yeah there's the connection). and it kept crawling around and getting FREAKED OUT because snow scorpions sense things through vibrations and use that sense to avoid predators. lot of kids = lot of vibrations = lot of perceived threats = stressing the poor thing out. everyone was so loud and excited.

im not sure if i could just hear this guys' commentary and the deadly 60 effects were just there, or if Steve backshall was there fr and explaining it to us live. but he was involved SOMEHOW. the dream ended as someone went to get the thing i think. that's all my dreams for today.

had a dream that i hung out with most of the council to film a video and i was trying so hard to be funny but it was a scenario JUST like those times where you get assigned in a group for a project and everyone else is friends except you. or where you are the youngest hanging out with a bunch of older kids and they find you annoying. or a mix of both. i am pretty sure condi ended up going from awkward laughing to somewhat enjoying my company. charlie and bizly were so caught up in filming that they didn't pay attention to me though, im pretty sure charlie was justtolerating me while bizly was gone half the time. we were hanging around a park that was so dark you couldn't even see that far past the shelter we were under for home base

it was night time and it was only illuminated by the lights under THIS thang. it was very funny though because charlie was just RUN into the darkness and disappear and then run back. the one thing i said where they all were like "YEAH" was when i said it would have been even BETTER if there was fog. however that would have made it must colder and i think condi commented i was not dressed warm enough . dream condification cares about my safety.
