So I never really looked at how many followers I had…believe it or not 118. I figured it was time to share a little more about what makes Horror73 tick!

I will share some fun facts each night and I’m going to start with my driving force…music.

I literally listen to everything except Hip Hop and Country. Now I’ve shared a bunch of my metal favorites from my childhood but my favorite music genre…drum roll please😂…is actually 50’s and 60’s Rock and Doo Wop.

The Drifters, The Coasters, Sam Cooke, Fats Domino…those are my jams. I was definitely born in the wrong era😂

Heard “Save the Last Dance for Me” (The Drifters) for the first time in ages this afternoon on the way to watch my nephew’s last soccer game of the season, and, wow, the song really hit me today.

So much so that I feel so compelled to write a Hosie songfic for it, but man I can’t think of a scenario that’d really make sense.

Oh! I’d been thinking about it from Hope’s POV, but maybe it works better with Josie’s, where everyone is obsessed with Hope? Dunno.

I think it still feels odd from any angle. The only things that seem reasonable to me are that

the speaker is an introvert, wallflower, or not a member of the popular crowd (but still comes to the dance?!), or

it’s a secret relationship (not necessarily that one’s not out yet, but family issues, Romeo & Juliet, cliques, etc.), or

it’s a job somehow (and once the lights are off and the people are gone, the last dance is for them alone).

But the “permissive flirting” or whatever is still hard to reconcile.

Maybe I’m just overthinking it?
