First big aspiration (i.e. what did they want to be when they grew up?)

Jia didn’t have big aspirations for herself when she was a child, I think! She was never too ambitious—this is something that I’ve written in the upcoming chapter of my fic, actually: [a heroine (...) who never aspired to any accolades, only to be a simple woman of wildflowers and thistles, of willows and cedar, of swallowtails and hawk-feathers]. So, she loved nature, she loved her books, she loved her alchemy ingredients, and I believe that something she first wished for herself, was to become a scholar, like her father. If she didn’t grow up with the Companions, I’d say she wouldn’t even care to learn how to fight—basically, her Shield-Siblings forced her to it…😂

13. First time being drunk/high

OKAY, ALRIGHT. Jia is an alchemist, right? She absolutely tastes moon sugar and frequently. Hands down. So I think the first time she became high as a kite was when she first tried it. She’s a sweet tooth, so she was carried away and consumed a large amount of moon sugar. I don’t believe it was a pleasant experience. It was quite a bad trip for her, as she was hit with anxiety, paranoia, and terrifying hallucinations, and given that Jia is already able to glimpse into timeless visions, this substance had a very negative effect on them and they almost drove her mad. Fortunately, she was in Heljarchen Hall, so our lady and savior Lydia was able to save the day…🥲

14. First time facing their fears

OH, THE ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION IS EXACTLY AT CH21 OF THE PRIEST AND THE DRAGONESS! Jia’s biggest fear is not being able to be in control of a situation, a result of the SA she has endured, and this loss of control is absolutely connected to the man who harmed her… So, the first time she comes across her fear and faces it (author’s note: like the girlboss she is) is when she meets her archnemesis again. Without spoiler-ing too much, they meet at a place where neither can attack the other physically, but Jia manages to rise above and display a fraction of her power regardless…👀

P. First time seeing the other all dressed up

AAAA I loved that question!!! SO. The first time Jia and Miraak see each other all dressed up hasn’t yet happened in my fic, but it will in a future chapter. It’s going to be during A Big Affair where both have to wear nice clothes to present themselves among many Important People. Miraak… how shall I put this? He’ll lose his mind. I have a scene clear in my head, where he sees Jia appearing at the other end of Heljarchen Hall with her beautiful velvet red dress, her neat hair, her bright eyes, and her glowing pale skin, and he can’t pick up his jaw from the floor. He’s never seen her more beautiful. For Jia, on the other hand, is the first time she sees him wearing a formal suit and her immediate thought is I Need to Touch That Man. So she tries to ‘correct’ the collar of his petticoat while purposely pressing herself against him, which of course, has him flustering and glancing away and nibbling his cheek. HE CAN’T PINE ANYMORE AND I HAVE NO MERCY OF HIM. 

S. First anniversary + how they celebrated

I think Jia and Miraak celebrate their first anniversary a year after Something Very Bad Happens Before It Gets Better… I haven’t reached that part of their story yet, but it will be the ultimate Key Moment for their relationship. They’re going to celebrate it in Jia’s magic place called ‘Dreamgrove’, where time doesn’t exactly flow in a linear fashion… I don’t want to spoil too much, but they’re going to discover a great many things about themselves in that place…👀

T. First time dancing together

YOU KNOW WHAT, YOU ASKED ME ALL MY FAVORITE QUESTIONS, I’M SOBBING. Their first dance is going to take place in that Big Affair I mentioned to you in question P. Jia is quite decent at dancing, and it makes sense since I often think of her as fire in a human form—flames dance beautifully, don’t they? Miraak, on the other hand, has two left feet, but it’s alright, he’ll follow Jia’s lead. I have a huge The Witcher inspo for this scene, where Jia will be like: ‘You can kiss me now, in front of everyone’, ala Yennefer vibes, and GAH… I CAN’T WAIT TO WRITE IT, I’M NOT IN THE SLIGHTEST NORMAL.

What do you daydream about?

Leon rubbed thoughtfully at his cheek, then looked out the window at the veritable herd of bakar romping about in the back field. "Lately? ...'Bout kids, if I'm honest. Some... int'restin' stuff came up durin' th' Faire, an' it brought 'em t' mind all over again."

Have you ever been arrested, and if so what was it for?

He burst out laughing. "'Ave I ever been arrested? Cor, I'm a farmboy, mate. If y' ever ask a farmboy if they've ever been arrested an' they say no, they're a damn liar. Either about gettin' arrested or about bein' farm, but they're a liar fer certain. ... Anyway last time I got arrested was fer drunken carousin' in th' Dreamgrove tha' expanded out int' Bradensbrook, right after we took out Xavius. It was a night fer celebratin'! ...it mighta turned int' a panty raid once we got drunk enough. Celestine o' th' 'arvest was not amused when she posted our bail."

What would you do if you could live a day without consequences?

"Truthf'ly, I'm not sure I'd be able t' trust tha' enough t' do anythin' wild enough t' be int'restin'. Th' next day's bound t 'ave consequences fer wot 'appened, yeah? But if it were real an' it was just a day in a vacuum as it were... hm." He thumbed at his beard. "Try an' bargain with somethin' fer immortality, maybe. No consequences, hey?"

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

"A rancher, like m' dad." Leon patted his own shoulder with a soft smile. "I din't quite get th' bigass-rectangle build 'e 'ad, an' th' older I got, th' less I wanted t' do with th' animal an' th' more I wanted t' make stuff outta th' animal. Which...sounds kinda terrible, puttin' it tha' way, but I just mean workin' with leather an' turnin' it int' somethin' useful or pretty was more int'restin' than tendin' a few dozen 'ead o' cattle.

"I liked th' idea o' makin' thin's a lot more than I did takin' care o' thin's. Heh. An' 'ere I am, doin' an awful lot o' both."

Olhava Almost Crashes a Wedding and Owain the Assassin

Owain’s training and Olhava travels alone

After things calm down Owain and Olhava asks the Bullywugs (Udon, Rudon and Wudon) information and asks them to join the cause to fight the Hour Glass Coven.

Udon who is the magic user of the group explains the Sticky Fingers guild (their guild) are part of the protectors who are ready to go up against the Witches and they pledge their loyalty to the cause. Owain then asks if they could train him their way.

Udon seeing how Owain handled the decay monster and agrees to teach him how to be a Assassin. (Player me is trying to image how Sage and Owain are going to met up, Sage seeing her baby frog a gristle assassin falling monster left and right.)

Owain and Olhava talk for a bit, they both agree that Olhava should seek out the Stags and see what their answer is because this was the 3rd monster they felled in 2 days and things seem to be escalating quickly.

So, Owain would stay with Udon in Tavren Meadows training, while Olhava first travels to Fairy town and see if they are ok since they are right on the border of the Dreamgrove where the witches are hold up right now. Then Olhava would travel to the Field of Harvest to seek Bramblehoof and see what the answer is.

Owain bids Olhava safe travels and to be careful.

Fairy town and the Castle in the Sky

Olhava goes on ahead to meet with his Stag people, but Owain suggested to hit Fairy town and see if they wanted to join up with army that will take on the Hour Glass Coven.

Once there they meet the mayor of Fairy town Willow. Olhava sets up the sales pitch and asks if the town would join or help the war.

However, Willow explains that they have a deal with Cloven, they don’t help the resistance and the witches won’t mess with them.

The most they would do is give directions to where the stags are located, and Olhava leaves.

Olhava the Uninvited

Olhava got to Field of Harvest (Located in the Autumn area) but before he makes it he pass by Murkendaw; it was described as a port/landing town of lake of dreams and in the middle of the lake high on a water fall Olhava sees a castle. Olhava decides to keep a mental note of this place where he had a mission and he needed to get back to Owain.

Getting to the Field of Harvest Olhava sees a massive clan of stags like himself, then he noticed someone made a noise and then sees the familiar figure of Bramblehoof running up to him.

Bramblehoof is freaking out asking why Olhava is here, Olhava explains that time is running out that an answer was needed, and he also told her that Olhava and Owain had dealt with another decay creature.

Bramble still a little upset understands and explains that he is getting married to Sliver Horn’s clan in a political marriage to merge her clan and the Moon clan together, she is not happy but she has to do this.

So, Bramble brings Olhava to Silver Horn.

In the center of the camp, Olhava is greeted by a massive pure white stag with antler huge, Silver Horn demands who is the outsider.

Olhava tells the story of how he fought alongside Bramble’s herd with the decay creatures, and he is looking for allies to side with them against the witches.

Red stag snarls when Olhava mentions the witches.

Silverhorn seems to be a bit more agreeable, but still a little miffed that Olhava came here without an invite.

So, Olhava has to prove himself in a fight with the groom Wild Heart the red stag from before.

Ok I tell you this now this fight was amazing, Olhava using every trick in the book that was available to him kept wailing on Wild Heart and at the end where it looked really dicey Wild Heart almost cast Moon Beam (a Clan Spell) on Olhava, which cause Silverhorn to steps in and stop the fight chewing out his son, that spell is use for serious battle not clan disputes.

Olhava now is a member of the Moon Clan and he stayed for the wedding Sliver Horn also said that the Moon Clan is ready for a fight and when they are needed they will be there.

Owain’s training Montague

Durning the course of Olhava’s wedding crashing thing, Owain stayed behind at Tavren Meadow with Udon and the Sticky Fingers Guild.

I as player learned that Athletics are not Owain strong points, the training was like lot more grueling, but when it comes to the actual art of Assassination and sneaking Owain is the Tops.

While waiting for Olhava to return the guild told epic tales of a legendary Grung hero Boko the Daring, the guild tells that last epic battle that Boko fought a Dragon tree thing, and he went missing after that. So, Owain wanted to investigate the tree to see if there is anything that could help in the fight.  

Olhava Returns and going forward.

Olhava returns to the meadow and meets up with Owain they both turn to the guild and ask if they guild is willing to join in the fight against the witches and they agreed. Wudon comes up to Owain and hands a badge, the badge had a frog’s hand on it, Wudon had invited Owain to be part of the Stick Fingers guild which Owain agrees. Owain wears the badge with pride.

The group agrees they need to see if the summer court is now ok to ask for help in the fight, then the plan is to go over to Spring and get aid there.

Ok this was a hard session because I wanted to keep quiet out of respect for Olhava’s player, it was their time to shine, but when we found out that Olhava almost crashed a wedding, I was devastated.

But I was not upset to see that now Owain is now an Assassin and he join a gang.

The DM and I were joking that Sage is going to be floored on what happened.

Lately, I've been really missing WoW. I miss going to the Dreamgrove and vibing in my cat form. I miss the same comfy vibes I had as a kid when I first played TBC and Wrath. I miss the lore and all the druid quests to get the different forms. It felt like a world. With pretty good lore. I ended up having to leave right before MoP came out.

I came back to the game a few months before DF dropped because I felt like I'd have an awesome time. That the vibes were returning to how they felt when I was a kid. They didn't, and I felt a bit farther away from what I wanted but I really liked playing as my druid. I found a guild I vibed with (through roleplay!) and I ended up becoming an officer. Eventually things went sour in the group and I felt like everything was gone. The nostalgia I had never came back to me. So I quit a while ago.

I find myself missing it and I almost got it again but I stopped myself. If I ever do return, I feel like it will be to get back into either Wrath or Cata when they release it or if I have an income that'll allow me to play. I'd like to roleplay but I never really found people in Classic Wrath.

if we're talkin azeroth specifically and not like, anywhere else, then it's probably either halfhill, the dreamgrove, or suramar. all for different reasons of course.

halfhill, because it was a safe haven for him when he ran away from home. the dreamgrove, because it's a place he can go to be alone if he needs to, and where he's loved no matter how broken he feels. and suramar, because that's where he found the courage to be truly selfless, and it's where he chose to finally settle down (to some extent; he's such a wanderer) with erestrois. :)

now, if we're talking just places in wow, then it's the queen's conservatory in ardenweald. it's technically the winter queen's garden, but she all but gave it to him, and he tends to it and the souls there. he befriended the spirits that chose to remain there, and returns there often because it's a place that feels like home. i always log him off there :')
