hey hi heidi ho howdy everyone! saints it’s been forever since i’ve posted on this account. after riverdale went off the rales i stopped writing fics for that fandom (including the compound and beauty rich and rare) but have been overrun by the OUTER BANKS fandom, and started a new fic with one shots and ficlets about the Pogues, focusing on JJ and Kie’s relationship. Hello my dear, thank you for spreading this cheer! I have been crazy with work and hadn’t a chance to even open the app. The best thing I’ve ever received from Santa was a pair of bright red boots! Betty once got a necklace that had a saphire encased in gold, and Jughead got a type writer!

I personally don’t love writing smut but I LOVE reading it. I like older!Jughead younger!betty vibes with Betty being a bit more outgoing than Jug (think Drive by @writeradamanteve)

I LOVE protective!Jughead too! But kind of in an obnoxious way where Betty doesn’t think she needs protection but she Def does.

I loveeeeeee this questions & I L Y! Jughead would pretend he hated Betty’s fancy peppermint mocha but secretly drink it all and Betty loves anything chai and cinnamon related (when she’s not fighting Jog for her mocha)

I see them being dragged to a Christmas tree cutting by Cheryl (I love Betty + Cheryl friendships) and putting the ornaments on the tree and maybe a mistletoe bit or two!

I am partial to tree decorating and have family traditions going back decades that I still use!

Two Months, Four Days : Somewhere off The Coast of Monaco

“So Cherry doesn’t even know I’m here. Even though you told me that she said she needed me,” Betty whispered.

“Well, yes. She did say she needed you. But I lied about the rest of it,” Jughead said.

“Then why am I even here, Jug?” she asked softly.

“Because she needs you,” he said matter of factly.

“We all need you. We can’t do it without you,” he continued.

“You all seem to have gotten along just fine without me,” she grumbled and turned so her face was now pressed into the rough cover. “There were two bank heists and a short con run on a woman with a particular set of plates with the royal seal if I’m not mistaken. I might have left, or, tried to leave,” she trailed off, “but I always kept track of my crew.”

Kept tabs on you, she wanted to say.

Jughead moved his body down as well but kept his hand in her hair and shifted even closer.

It pushed her hand even further up the hem of his sweater.

“We can’t do it without you, BC,” he said quietly.

“We’ve thought about it a million different ways, but we always get busted. But each time we come up with a scenario with you in it...”

“It works,” she whispers.

“It works.”

Chapter 26- Until Then

The nine of them silently stood in front of Thornhill, looking at the house that they had all grown to think of as their home.

They were on their way to a new home. A new chapter in their lives. A new story that they’d get to tell their kids one day.

They had split up into girl’s cars and boy’s, and Betty stood against the hood of Jughead’s Jeep, twirling a lock of his hair between her fingers.

“Let’s hit the road, kids,” Joaquin yelled from the front porch. “We don’t want to hit traffic.”

Betty smiled at the chorus of “yes dad” that echoed across the driveway.
