Chapter 1
Jimmy had been dead for the past few months due to the crash. The crew has been slowly rotting. They have lost all hope, and for good reason. Daisuke and Swansea are unconscious because of hunger and exhaustion. Curly and Anya are slowly losing grip. Despite all this, the beautiful glowing screen still showcased the moon and stars. Curly's hair sticks to his face due to anxious sweat. "Well, we had a good run. Didn't we." Curly smiled. Anya laid beside him and she smiled despite the tears rolling down her face. "Yeah." Curly's breath hitches "Anya... I'm-”
Curly opened his eyes with a jolt. There he was, in the hospital. His whole body was aching. A nurse walked over to his bed, "How are you feeling, sir?" His eyes widened harshly. "Where is my crew?" He yelled. "Are they okay? Is Anya alive? I never got to tell her I'm sorry!" Curly's heart beat spiked. Thinking about Anya's distressed face made him feel nauseous from guilt. He placed his head in his hands, as if grappling with reality. The nurse spoke gently to try and to calm him down, "Everyone is okay. Some are still waking up." He sighed, feeling relieved. A doctor came into the room. "How did we survive? How are we home?" Curly was more than shocked. The doctor walked up to him, holding his papers. "Another space ship found you guys. Some astronomers were on an expedition in the area. You all were very lucky they were out there." The doctor said, cracking a smile. Curly looked down at his hands. "What room is Anya in? If you don't mind asking." Curly asked quietly. The nurse responded, "Room 25. And this is 24." After doing some basic checkups, and giving him some medicine for the pain, the doctor and the nurse left. Curly laid there, alone with his thoughts.
A few hours pass by, and unable to just sit and do nothing, Curly sneaks out of his room. He finds Anya sitting down in the lobby. The moon light shining on her in her hospital gown. She looked tired as usual, and mentally drained, but she still smiled faintly when she heard his voice. "Anya!" He cried out, limping towards her. She looks up at him and smiles with tears in her eyes. He wrapped his arms around her and cried. She held his head gently. "Anya... I-I I'm so sorry. I should have done something. You already had told me that you felt uncomfortable around him. I felt like I was losing my mind. I didn't know what to do. I'm so sorry that I made it seem like I didn't care. I care so much. I will do anything you want to gain your forgiveness. We don't have to ever talk again if that's what you wish. I'm so sorry, Anya." The words came out almost pleadingly, and rushed. He couldn’t hold back a sob. "Captain-... Curly. Our worst moments don't define us. I don't blame you for what happened, we were in the middle of space. But it will still take me a long time to heal. Thank you." Anya was always the more quiet kind. She didn't know how to respond. After several quiet minutes spoke quietly, "I lost the baby." Curly looks up at her, his eyes slightly wide. To not offend her, he asked honestly, "How do you feel?" Tears rolled down her face, as she stared at the ground. "Empty.”
In the morning, Curly and Anya met up with Daisuke and Swansea. It seemed they were recovering well. The crew all sat together in the lobby. It was surreal, everything felt so much lighter. Almost happy. "How are you guys doing? What do you plan on doing after this?" Curly asked. Daisuke's face lights up, "That was totally crazy! I'm happy we survived. I can't wait to see my mom." Swansea pops in, "Heh, It will be nice to be with my family again. No more pony express. I get to be a retired lazy old man!" Swansea chuckles. Anya and Curly look at each other smiling. It felt like a dream.
A few days went by, and the crew slowly recovered. Everyone was released from the hospital once they were fully recovered. Getting back from the hospital was refreshing. The sterile white rooms grew to be nauseating. He could finally go home. Curly pulled up to his home, the sight of his big white house with blue shutters made him smile. That company never cared. Some random astronomers were the ones who cared enough to save them. He was free from that stupid job. He hated being glorified, he soon realized. Curly felt like a monster after everything that had happened. His loving pet guinea pig was waiting for him in his bedroom. Curly’s mother would take care of her every day while Curly was gone. Whenever anyone visits, they are surprised that he has such a small creature when he's such a big guy. Almost every time someone says the classic "Wow. I thought you would have a dog of some sort, captain." He sighed and flopped on the bed but gently held Daphne. He felt so relieved to be home, after all this time. But every time he tried to close his eyes, he would see Anya's crying face

had a terrible nightmare and feel nausea
There was loud noises in my ear and I couldn't get it out, so I spend the entire dream trying to wake up, but I couldn't hyperventilate myself awake since my neck was positioned in a way where I couldn't gasp without moving my head so I was stuck
#I was like trying to wake up so bad#I tried calling to the Alexa in the living room within the dream#Alexa call 911... Alexa call 911...#MY GOD I COULDNT SPEAK#It was so weird and out of body#the dream made it seem like my mom heard me so she came over and looked at me while I was still motionless in bed#I guess she thought I couldn't breath cause she put her finger in my mouth to find anything blocking my dang airway#What the fudge dream I couldn't breath#Then she was going to do cpr since thats what nurses know how do to#and I immediately woke up after the first compression and I was just alone in my room again#What the fudge man. Now I'm sick#Oh turns out the loud noises was just the ear bud I loosely left in my ear playing youtube videos

My father is an Ashkenazi Jew. His parents were first generation Americans. Their parents escaped the pogroms in Russia and Ukraine and came to find their American dream. They fought in wars and opened businesses and assimilated and my generation barely has a few words of Yiddish between us. My mother is as much of a WASP as it gets. American Revolutionaries and Signers and some household name civil war feature players. Not old money, but old America and undoubtedly white. I'm patrilineal. Not a Jew to a lot of Jews. Not a Jew to a lot of my Jewish family. Even though i was raised Jewish. Even though I look like my father. Even though i got enough of something in my DNA to get asked "What are you?" more often than not. More often than I'm just accepted at face value as "white". When i was little we lived in an Irish Catholic neighborhood. Like the 5-10 kids in every family sort of Irish catholic neighborhood. The kids calling me a christ killer and refusing to play with me because they heard it from their parents sort of irish catholic neighborhood. For some reason my parents tried to send me to the catholic school down the street. I lasted less than a week because i didn't understand their rituals and their language and they found out my father was a Jew and they couldn't have a christ killer in their midst. I was just sad i didn't get to wear the cute plaid skirt anymore. So i went to the public school and my well meaning shiksa mother who never converted but learned the Chanukah prayers and helped cook Seder dinners came to the school to teach the class about Chanukah. She taught them songs and all the kids got dreidels and had so much fun spinning the top for chocolate coins. It was nice to feel normal. A few weeks later a boy in a higher grade attacked me on the way to the bus and smashed my art project (we had made pig noses from solo cups to celebrate reading charlotte's web) into my face and called me a filthy jew. I didn't understand, i was more upset to lose the project i was so proud of. Other things happened. Things I wont talk about because putting them in context would doxx me. But a million reminders that i wasn't one of them. I wasn't welcome because i was Jewish. My parents divorced. My mother left. Far away so I'd only see her a handful of times growing up. And I went to live with my Dad in a city that seemed like it was overflowing with Jews. Everyone knew my holidays! In public school the teachers looked like my family and had familiar sounding names. We had the high holy days off just like christmas or easter. We sang Chanukah songs in the winter recital and nobody's mom had to come teach them to the class. Finally I belonged! My friends and cousins started planning for their b mitzvah celebrations and i asked for my own. I asked to go to hebrew school so i could be more like the people i belonged with and celebrate the things i loved about myself and them. "But you're not jewish." My father would say. This was news to me. The christ killer. The filthy jew. But a 10 year old has little power over their lives. So i didn't go. I didn't have a bat mitzva while my cousins had theirs. It was okay because i still belonged more than i ever had. But i was still jewish enough to keep the holidays and pray and fast and get sent with a box of matzo to my WASP grandmothers for easter, and have matzo packed in my lunch to eat in AP algebra in 7th grade and get asked if I'm a "Yid" by the teacher. And still to this day not know if it was endearment or insult but by then I knew even in this magical city being a Jew wasn't always safe. in highschool I tried to take hebrew lessons with a friend in a similar situation as me. She was also hungry to reconnect. I don't remember why the classes or the friendship fell through, but they did. My next "friend", a goy raised catholic from another neighborhood, liked to accuse me of being money driven when i picked up a penny on the sidewalk or tried to ask who was going to pay for the zine's she wanted to publish.
"What are you?" I'd get asked a lot on the street by curious strangers, "Where are you from?" "Are you Italian?" Always Italian. I never really understood that, but its become code in my head for "You look like you're white but something about you is very not white and I just can't place it, so Italian seems safe and polite." I'm not here to unpack the Italian part of all that. I don't even know what I'm unpacking for myself by writing this except I've been sick for days and I'm so tired and this is all that my foggy brain can wrap itself around. Later I'm an adult and on my own and getting bloodwork done. The Nurse is a black woman and so sweet to me. She can tell I'm nervous about the needles because I've already stumbled through my apologies for my herd to find veins. So she distracts me with small talk. Where do i live? I tell her. She looks worried for me. Tells me that it used to be a nice neighborhood before white people took it over and she warns me like she's my own mother to be careful because they aren't safe. I doublecheck the skin she's putting a needle into. Whatever she sees isn't white. I love her for it. For a moment I belong there with her. She doesn't ask what I am or where i'm from, but she knows what i'm not. I'm the only one keeping the holidays with my family. We celebrate Passover because I go home to my fathers and cook the dinner and print out the Haggadah and lead the Seder to the tune of my drunk catholic stepmother eating my food and telling me i'll never be a jew. She's more of a jew than I'll ever be because she grew up in a jewish neighborhood and her friends were all jews and she married a jew and i was just playing pretend. I stopped going home for holidays and they stopped observing anything except Christmas. I marry a goy. "Is he a jew?" is the first thing my father asks and he's disappointed when i say no. He's abusive, i run. I end up living in the attic of this older old money WASP couple who need a live in house sitter. They're pillars of their church and they know someone from the WASP side of my family very well and its a funny coincidence and they think i belong there. I know from their divest from Israel bumper stickers that i don't. Then they find out I consider myself Jewish and i see the light in their eyes die and its replaced by something hard and disappointed. Now, while writing this, i can laugh about being the jew in someone's attic. But then, it was only a few months after that they started coming up with excuses for why I needed to move out. I did, their excuses never manifested into reality. I got married again. A jew this time! a Jewish medical professional liek grandma always wanted. She's a convert and her ex was a rabbinical student. I think maybe i'm home finally. She has to understand. I'm not Jewish enough for her. We don't keep holidays at home because i'm not a jew. I cry every year when pesach comes and goes and i haven't recited the plagues or eaten matzo piled high with horseradish. She insists on putting up a christmas tree. She turns abusive. I run.
I'm alone now and no longer in that magic jewish city. I'm far away and surrounded by mega churches and cows and the bagels suck and people quote the bible at me like some call and response that i don't have the cheat code for and I don't belong here at all but i'm finally finally free to light my menorah and recite the plagues and study torah with the group i found here on tumblr who love and accept me even though i'm patrilineal. Oct. 7th happened a few weeks after I moved here. I worry about my family back home and i think no one will look for Jews here among the cows and mega churches, so I can be a safe place for them to run if things get bad again. But i still don't fit in here. I don't look right. The last name I have now is common here and too white for whatever people see when they look in my face. I get interrogated about it a lot. But i learned quickly how to smile and say "have a blessed day". I hide my menorah when maintenance comes to work on my apartment. I flew home last month. Just for a visit. I've never been away from home this far or this long. And I'm the type that covers nerves and anxiety with chattiness, so at the airport i made a for-now-friend while we both waited for the plane to board. She's Puerto Rican. We talk about our lives. Our families. Her twin sister and i go by the same nickname and so we're family now. We talk about food. So much food and how much we love cooking and how important food was at home. "Are you Italian?" she asks as we're stepping through the hatch into the plane. Why always Italian? I wonder for the millionth time in my life. And I freeze up for a moment between fighting my carry-on over the gap and terror that I'm about to see the light go out behind her eyes and i'll lose this for-now friend. "No," i laugh but its not a real laugh and i see the concern in her face as we squeeze through the aisle because she can hear the apprehension in my voice, "I'm Jewish." And something strange happened because her face lit up and she smiled and said "No way?! You guys have GREAT food!"

under the mistletoe
parings : isaac garcia x fem!reader
warnings : none really just kissing
Its the day of the Christmas party and you are so excited but first you have to go to school. You got ready and packed candy canes to give out to people at your school. About ten minutes later you were now at school you saw one of your friends Isaac. You went up to him “Candy cane for you”
He smiled “Thanks” you guys were walking the halls together everyone thought you two were together most of the time but you guys were just good friends but Isaac on the other hand would have loved that he’s always liked you but you seem to never notice.
“You going to the Christmas party?” He asks you were busy handed out candy canes but still heard him “Hell yeah! Also I heard there’s gonna be a photo both and we should take some together!” He nodded “Yeah sure” you handed out the last candy cane “God I love Christmas… well I’ll see you tonight bye!” You said as you walked to your class.
It was partner time in math class and you were talking with your friend Jackie trying to convince her to go “Okay come on! Please go.. Cole is going..” she laughed softly “There’s nothing going on between me and Cole!” You knew she was lying “Whatever you say but please go this is my dream! I love Christmas and it won’t be the same without you there”
“Well I have nothing to wear!” She says you smirked at her “Have you seen my closet? I’ll lend you something” Jackie sighed as she smiled looking away “Fine” you clapped your hands softly happy she was gonna go. Later on it was finally time Jackie came over to your house trying to find a good outfit.
You picked for her “This would look good on you!” She tried it on and liked it “Okay.. I’ll wear it what about you!” You grabbed an outfit from your closet. “This! My mom got it for me” it was a Santa dress and it came with a Santa hat to. “Oh my god y/n.. your really into the Christmas spirit” Jackie said you smirked and went into your bathroom too chnage you also grabbed some black high-heel boots.
Thirty minutes passed and you finally came out with the outfit and your hair done a little bit of makeup “What do you think!” Jackie sighed “Finally you’re done! And you look amazing” Jackie said with a big smile you thanked her “Let’s go! My mom’s gonna take us”
Jackie nodded and you guys finally left your mom drove you there you guys made it there in ten minutes and it was a big house you thanked your mom and so did Jackie you guys got out the car and your mom drove off saying bye. You looked at the house it had lights flashing and Christmas decorations everywhere “I’m so excited! I been waiting for this all month! Come on” you grabbed Jackie’s hand and you went inside the house.
You guys went inside and it was crazy people were drinking and dancing with music blasting you guys obviously went to go get a drink first in the kitchen just then Cole came up to you guys “Hey Jackie. You look good” he said. You knew he liked Jackie from the start you took a sip of your drink “Hey Cole have you seen Isaac?”
“He’s in the back” you nodded “I’m gonna leave you two to talk” Jackie gave you a look but you smiled at her and just went to the back of house. There was many more people out there you the saw Isaac talking to one of his friends “Isaac!” You said walking up to him. He turned around “You look amazing oh my god” you smiled softly “Thank you! So do you!”
It was quiet for five seconds but you remembered “Oh my god look the photo shoot! Come on!” You grabbed his hand and led him into the photo shoot you guys put your drinks down and you clicked the button to take the photos. You guys did your thing. You were gonna get out to check the photos but Isaac grabbed your hand “Hey wait… I need to tell you something”
You sat back down confused but listened anyway “Yeah.. what is it?” He sighed “I never thought I’d say this but with you I felt different.” You made full eye contact with him.
“Y/n.. I have feelings for you and I just need to get that off my chest! You’re an amazing person and very sweet and you’re so beautiful..” you smiled at him you never knew Isaac would say that to you. “You like me…?” You said and he nodded “More than anything…”
You looked up for a second just I see a mistletoe you looked back at him and he was ready. So you went for it and kissed him and he kissed you back it for two minutes and you pulled away. “So.. do you like me?” He said you laughed softly “I just made out with you of course I like you” he rolled his eyes “Okay..”
You grabbed his hand once again “Let’s look at the pictures we took!” You guys looked at them laughing.

Confusion (NSFW) FT Arin
Operator’s Notes:… um i um… enjoy? I guess
It was just after midnight, and I had finally settled into my armchair with a book, ready to lose myself in a world far more thrilling than my own. The apartment was quiet, save for the occasional hum of the refrigerator and the distant whoosh of cars from the street below. It was the kind of peace I’d been craving all week.
And then came the knock.
Not a loud, obnoxious knock — just a soft, almost hesitant tapping that echoed through the empty hallway. I glanced at the clock: 12:07 a.m. It's not a usual time for visitors.
I opened the door, expecting a lost delivery guy or a neighbor with a package that had ended up in the wrong mailbox. What I got instead was... her.
She stood there, drenched from the rain, strands of dark hair sticking to her cheeks. Her eyes, a shade of brown I recognized instantly, were wide and uncertain. For a moment, my brain refused to process what it was seeing. But those eyes. I knew those eyes.
“Dio... it’s me.” Her voice, though softer and slightly higher, was unmistakable.
“Arin?” I blinked, gripping the door tighter as if the world might shift beneath my feet. This had to be a prank. Or a dream. The kind where I’d wake up laughing and shaking my head.
But she just stood there, fidgeting with the hem of a jacket that seemed a size too big for her new frame. “Yeah...can you let me in.”
“Uh, I yeah?” I stuttered dumbly, stepping aside to let her in, though my brain was still catching up with my body. My best friend of 4 years was standing in front of me, but *he* was now... *she.*
"Long story," Arin muttered, pulling the jacket tighter around her as she crossed the threshold. "Do you have any tea? Or something stronger?"
I nodded slowly, still too stunned to form any coherent response. Tea... that seemed like the least absurd thing in this whole situation.
As I moved to the kitchen, trying to suppress a million questions crashing through my head, I heard Arin sigh. “I’ll explain everything, I promise. But you should probably sit down for this one."
After finishing making the tea she sat across from me and I noticed Arin’s mannerisms had changed. Gone was the burly athletic friend I played rugby with instead this demure and insanely attractive young woman who made me feel things.
“Stop staring at me,” she said it’s freaking me out. I scowled as I said
“Nah bro you don’t get to say shit like that when you’re over here looking like the girl of my dreams…sorry that was weird I had no idea where that came from.”
Arin waved it off blushing. “It’s fine.” She fidgeted with her sleeves before taking one of my mugs. She smiles as she takes a sip.
“Ah just right” she coos and I get a visceral feeling of attraction and affection that I suppress.
Arin flashes me a gorgeous smile. “You are always so good at this,” she says happily. She stops speaking and stares at me wistfully
“Arin um transformation explanation,” I say.
It snaps Arin out of her trance, “Oh right well um. yesterday I was a dude and now I’m this.” She says, “Here’s the crazy part so far you’re the only one who remembers I’m a guy. My parents even don’t remember that I was a boy. In fact when I mentioned you they referred to you as my boyfriend.”
I blink rapidly trying to process a million things right now but only can think about how cute Arin looks
I stared at her—him?—trying to make sense of it all. My best friend, the same guy who once smashed me into the mud during a rugby game, was now sitting across from me looking like something out of a romance novel. And the worst part? She wasn’t acting like it was weird. Not really.
“So… your parents think we’re…” I trailed off, my head still swimming.
Arin chuckled, though there was a slight nervousness to it. “Yeah. Crazy, right? My mom went on this whole tangent about how I’ve always had a thing for you, and how it was only a matter of time before we made it ‘official.’” She made air quotes, her slender fingers moving gracefully, in stark contrast to the way she used to pound her fist into her palm when making a point.
I blinked again, still not sure whether to laugh or panic. “And you’re just… okay with that?”
I leaned forward, running my hands through my hair. “But why me? Why do I remember?”
Arin shrugged. “You’ve always been stubborn. Maybe you’re just too hard-headed for magic.”
Despite myself, I cracked a smile. “That’s probably true.”
There was a beat of silence, one that felt heavier than it should have. The tension between us—the one I hadn’t ever felt before—was suffocating. The warmth of her smile, the way she fiddled with the mug in her hands, her soft laugh… it was doing things to me. Things I wasn’t prepared for.
I cleared my throat. “So… what now?”
Arin sighed, leaning back against the couch. “I don’t know, man. I thought I could just ride this out until we figured out what happened. But now…” She looked at me with those same brown eyes, and for the first time, I saw the fear behind them. “Now, I’m not sure. What if this is permanent?”
I opened my mouth to reassure her, to tell her we’d fix it somehow—but the words stuck in my throat. Part of me didn’t know if I wanted to fix it. And that terrified me.
“Well,” I said slowly, “whatever happens, we’ll figure it out together. Like we always do.”
Her expression softened, and for a moment, it was just like old times. Two best friends, sitting around, tackling whatever life threw at us. But then she smiled again, a smile that made my heart skip, and I knew things would never be the same.
“Thanks, Dio. You’re a good friend.”
I forced a grin. “Yeah, let’s stick with ‘friend’ for now.”
But deep down, I wasn’t sure how long that would last.
“Hey, Dio can you do me a favor?” Arin says with a cute lilt in her voice. I nod, and she asks that I check my phone for photos of us together. I unlock my phone and look, sure enough, there are pictures with male Arin still there which only further complicates things. I hand Arin the phone as she struggles with the snacks she is trying to open. I smile and she hands the snacks to me. I open them for her and slide them back.
“Good to know your appetite is unaffected,” I teased
Arin rolls her eyes but I sense something else in her expression. As she enjoys her snack I found myself fawning over her. Arin notices then looks away blushing
“Can you please not look at me like you want to make out with me? It's making me uncomfortable,” I nod and look away. I am trying hard not make her uncomfortable but she's so pretty, so ladylike in all the best ways. She's fluid graceful, and… no stop that brain she's a he. She's your bro. I walk out of the room to my bedroom where my feelings of loyalty to my bro fight my feelings of attraction.
Moments later Arin walked in her feet ever so light
“Dio are you okay?” she asked. I shook my head.
“Look I'm sorry for looking at you like you're a piece of meat,” I responded. Arin sighed and then said,
“Dio it's okay I know it's weird having all these feelings it's weird for me as well.” Her voice is soft empathetic and oozes feminine charm. I want her no need for her, but I suppress those feelings further and further yet they only grow stronger and stronger.
When I finally do open my eyes Arin is staring into mine lovingly. The tension between us is too intense. I grab her face and pull it in for a kiss. Arin is surprised at first but quickly melts into my arms. Her aggressive response in kissing me back does surprise me though.
When we finally break the kiss she looks at me with a possessive glare.
“Thank God I needed that!” she growled while I was left dizzy and lightheaded. Arin smiled before kissing me again.
“Dont think Dio just follow your instincts,” she said
The room felt like it was spinning, though I wasn’t sure if it was from the kiss or the fact that my best friend—*who had been a guy until recently*—was now in my arms, looking at me like I was the only thing in the world that mattered.
Arin’s lips curled into a satisfied smile, a glint of something playful—and possessive—in her eyes. “You okay there?” she teased, brushing a thumb across my cheek. “You look a little... flustered.”
Flustered didn’t even begin to cover it.
I stumbled back a step, gently prying her arms from around my neck. “Yeah, I just... need a second.”
Arin’s smile faded slightly, but she gave a small nod, her expression softening. “Okay. Take your time.”
I retreated to the opposite side of the room, trying to steady my breathing. My thoughts were a mess—swirling between what had just happened and what it *meant.* The kiss had felt... right. Too right. And that was the problem.
“You kissed me back,” I finally managed, running a hand through my hair. “Why?”
Arin crossed her arms and leaned against the wall, shrugging. “Why not?”
I blinked, taken aback by how casual she sounded. “I mean, we... you’re still you. And I’m still me.”
“And that’s supposed to change how we feel?” she asked, arching an eyebrow. “Look, Dio, I know this is weird. Believe me, I do. But pretending like we don’t have... whatever *this* is, isn’t going to help. Do you want to go back to how things were?”
I didn’t have an answer for that. Because the truth was, I wasn’t sure I did.
Arin took a few steps forward, closing the gap between us. She reached out and placed a hand on my arm, her touch soft but firm. “I know this freaks you out. But we’re still the same, you and me. It’s just... different now.”
I swallowed hard. “But what if this isn’t permanent? What if you change back?”
She paused, her hand slipping from my arm. Her expression darkened, and for a moment, the lighthearted confidence she’d been carrying slipped away. “I don’t know. I don’t even know how this happened in the first place.” She looked down, her fingers playing with the hem of her hoodie. “But... I think I like this version of me, Dio. Maybe more than I thought I would.”
The weight of her words settled heavily between us. I could see the vulnerability in her eyes, the uncertainty she was trying so hard to hide. This wasn’t just about me or the kiss—this was about her figuring out who she was now. Who she *wanted* to be.
I sighed, sinking onto the edge of the bed. “So what do we do now?”
Arin sat down beside me, careful not to get too close but close enough that I could feel the warmth of her presence. “We figure it out. Together. Like we always do.”
I let her words hang in the air, my thoughts still racing but slowly starting to settle. I didn’t have all the answers—hell, I didn’t have *any* answers. But one thing was clear: this was no longer just about a spell or some magical fluke. This was about me and Arin—about the connection we’d always had, and whatever it was evolving into.
“You’re right,” I said after a long moment. “We’ll figure it out. But for now... let’s just take it slow, okay?”
Arin smiled a hint of relief in her expression. “Slow sounds good.”
Later that night, after Arin had gone to bed, I found myself lying awake, staring at the ceiling. My mind wouldn’t stop spinning. The kiss replayed in my head over and over, and every time, it felt more real—more right. But the nagging voice in the back of my mind wouldn’t let me rest.
*What if she changes back?*
*What if this is temporary?*
*What if things get more complicated?*
But the one thought that kept me up the most?
*What if I don’t want her to change back?*
As I think about this my mind replays the scene boring into my brain. “Dont think follow your instincts!” which meant to me make her mine.
After work the next day I arrived home early and called the one person I could always when weird things happened my friend Isabela.
While I was on the call Arin had popped shortly after and waited for me to finish the call.
I paced the length of my living room, phone pressed to my ear, trying to explain the unexplainable.
“So you’re telling me,” Isabela said, her voice incredulous on the other end, “your best friend, who was a guy, is now... a *girl*? And the whole world thinks this is normal?”
“Yeah, that about sums it up,” I replied, rubbing the back of my neck. “Except me. I’m the only one who remembers.”
A low whistle came through the speaker. “And you’re not freaking out?”
“Oh, I’m freaking out,” I said, glancing over at Arin, who was curled up on the couch, her lips pressed into a pout. She had one of my hoodies on—her favorite from before the change—and it swallowed her up, making her look even smaller. She kept shooting me sideways glances, and I could feel the tension radiating off her like heat.
Isabela didn’t hesitate. “So what’s the problem? Are you upset about losing your best bro, or is it that you’re realizing you might be into her now?”
I nearly dropped the phone. “Isabela!”
“What? It’s a valid question,” she said with a shrug I could hear through the phone. “I mean, if it’s messing with your head this much, maybe it’s because your feelings are changing too.”
I sighed, glancing at Arin again, who had grabbed a pillow and was hugging it tightly. Her eyes flicked to mine for just a second, then quickly away.
“I don’t know,” I admitted. “It’s just... complicated. I’m still trying to figure out how I feel about it.”
“Well, figure it out fast,” Isabela said, laughing softly. “Otherwise, you’re going to drive yourself—and her—crazy.”
I rolled my eyes. “Thanks, Isa. Helpful.”
“You know I’m right,” she teased. “But look, take your time. Just... don’t wait too long to have that conversation with her. If she’s anything like she used to be, she’s probably just as confused as you are.”
“Yeah... maybe,” I muttered.
I could hear Isabela smirking through the phone. “Anyway, I’ll check in later. But don’t overthink it, okay? Just be real with yourself.” I noticed she read this line Overthinking. I chuckled wondering if it was as common as I thought.
After hanging up, I let out a long breath and slumped onto the couch next to Arin. She didn’t say anything at first, just kept staring at the TV, which was off, as if it held all the answers to the universe.
“Isabela being a know-it-all again?” she finally mumbled, still hugging the pillow.
“Something like that,” I said, running a hand through my hair. “She thinks I should... you know, talk to you about all this. About... us.”
Arin’s pout deepened, and she cast me a sidelong glance, her lower lip jutting out just enough to make my heart skip. “There is no ‘us,’” she muttered, though her tone was more vulnerable and saddened than defiant.
I frowned, not sure what to say. “That’s not what I meant. I just... look, this is new for both of us. I’m trying to process it, okay?”
She shifted in her seat, her knee brushing against mine, and I felt that now-familiar jolt of awareness. “Yeah, well... you don’t have to call Isabela every time you need to ‘process’ something. I’m sitting right here, you know.”
I scowl at her and she gives me a serious look then it hits me.
“Are you jealous?” I asked, raising an eyebrow.
Arin stiffened. “What? No. That’s stupid.”
But the way she crossed her arms and looked away told me otherwise. I couldn’t help but smile.
“Sure,” I said, leaning back. “If you say so.”
Arin scowled, but the blush creeping up her cheeks gave her away. “Shut up.”
I chuckled, feeling the tension between us shift slightly, but the undercurrent of something more was still there, waiting. Neither of us was ready to acknowledge it just yet, but it was there, lingering in every look and every word.
That attraction grew only more aggressive within even with me suppressing it. In the back of my mind, something told me this was a bad idea I couldn't bury it forever. Arin would trigger something and all the floodgates would open and I'd be caught in that tide fully, with no control for or of how that. I decided the best course of action would be going to rugby practice tonight. it was mostly free play since the season was over.
“Oh you're going to play with the boys can I come watch?” I nod and we head out. When I arrived on the pitch I noticed Arin was shivering in the autumn air. She notices my awareness and says, “It's nothing.” I roll my eyes go to my trunk take out the Twice Blanket there and drape it around her. She snuggles into the warmth before saying “Thanks babe,” my heart flutters and I shut that shit down.
“No problem Arin,” I say flatly and I notice a little frown creep in her face. My urges overcome me in a moment of weakness before I kiss Arin and say, “Love you too.” Arin smiles as I go onto the pitch.
“Hey Dio who's that girl you with she's cute.”
My brain warps and I feel reality shift for a moment and respond instinctively, “Oh that's Arin, my girlfriend.” I have internally as everyone gives me happy cheers.
“Aye the Demon Flanker finally got a girl and a pretty one too, almost angelic,” another player teases. I sigh and continue through practice. It helped clear out the brain fog and emotional constipation I felt and by the end of it, I felt almost normal. When practice was over I got back into the car with Arin after she finished talking to some of the other player's girlfriends
“You know when I was a guy I never realized how scarily strong you are,” she says as she rests her hand on my thigh. I noticed a hungry look in her eyes when she looked at me.
After practice, I dropped Arin off at her place and headed home to clean up. The hot water did wonders to shake off the lingering tension from the field—and from the kiss. I had half-convinced myself that what happened earlier was a momentary slip, just another weird part of this whole situation.
Then Arin texted me.
**Mom says dinner’s at 7. Be ready. ;)**
It was supposed to be casual, just dinner at her parents' house, but the winking face set off warning bells in my head. I ignored it, chalking it up to Arin’s usual teasing, and got dressed.
When I pulled up to Arin’s place to pick her up, she was waiting outside, dressed way nicer than I expected—jeans and a simple sweater, but somehow it looked... different. She looked good.
“Ready to go?” I asked, trying to keep my voice neutral. She grinned and hopped into the car.
Dinner started normal enough. Arin’s mom was all smiles as she served us, but now and then, her gaze would linger a little too long on me. At first, I thought I was imagining things, but then she dropped a line that made my brain short-circuit.
“So, Dio,” Arin’s mom began with a casual air that seemed far too deliberate, “you’re quite the catch, aren’t you? Handsome, strong, good with my daughter...” She shot Arin a pointed look, as if daring her to react.
I nearly choked on my water, while Arin’s fork froze mid-air.
“Uh, thanks, Mrs. M,” I muttered awkwardly. “I’m just—”
“Just what? Single?” she pressed, her eyes gleaming with mischief. “I find that hard to believe. Someone like you doesn’t stay on the market long, does he?”
Arin was glaring daggers at her mom now, her cheeks flushed. “Mom...”
“Oh, sweetheart,” her mom waved her off, a sly smile tugging at her lips. “I’m just saying, if you don’t claim him soon, some other girl will.” She winked at me.
The temperature in the room shot up about ten degrees. I could feel Arin’s eyes boring into the side of my head, but I didn’t dare look at her.
“Mom, seriously,” Arin snapped, her voice a little sharper now. She shot me a glance that screamed, *Help me shut this down*. But her mom was having way too much fun.
“Come on, sweetie, it’s just an observation,” her mom said, feigning innocence as she reached across the table to refill my glass. “But really, Dio, how *are* you still single? I’m sure the girls must be all over you, especially with the way Arin talks about you.”
I shifted uncomfortably, unsure of how to navigate this without causing a scene. “Well, uh, I’ve just been focused on... rugby,” I said, latching onto the first excuse that popped into my head. “And work. You know how it is.”
Arin’s mom wasn’t buying it. She gave me a knowing smile. “Mmm, yes, I’m sure that’s it.”
I risked a glance at Arin, who was now glaring at her mom like she might actually fling her fork across the table. “Dio’s not *on the market* because he’s mine,” she yelled I caught it—and so did her mom.
“What was that, dear?” her mom asked, her tone teasing but with a challenge hidden underneath. “Did you say something?”
Arin’s cheeks were burning now, and for the first time since this whole mess started, I saw her squirm. “I said,” she repeated, a little less loud this time, “he’s mine.”
Her mom leaned back in her chair, satisfied. “That’s more like it.”
I blinked, my heart thudding in my chest. Arin wasn’t looking at me, but I could see the tension in her posture, her shoulders stiff, her jaw tight. She wasn’t just embarrassed—she was frustrated. Maybe even scared.
Dinner went on, but the mood had shifted. Arin’s mom kept the conversation light, but now and then, she would glance between us with a smug look, like she’d won some invisible battle. Arin, meanwhile, stayed quiet, her usual wit buried under the weight of what she’d just admitted.
After dinner, we walked out to the car in silence. I could tell Arin was still brooding, but she wasn’t about to bring it up first. So, naturally, I did what I always did when things got awkward—I tried to make a joke.
“Well, that was... fun,” I said, unlocking the car. “Your mom is, uh, pretty intense.”
Arin huffed, crossing her arms. “Yeah, well, she’s been on my case about you for ages.”
I raised an eyebrow. “About *me*?”
She rolled her eyes. “Don’t act like you didn’t know. She’s been waiting for me to... I dunno, *claim you* or whatever she said.”
Her words hit me harder than I expected. I wasn’t sure what to say to that, so I just leaned against the car, watching her.
Arin let out a sigh, running a hand through her hair. “Look, I’m sorry about my mom. She’s... she’s just being herself. But... she’s not wrong.”
I blinked, caught off guard. “Not wrong about what?”
She finally met my eyes, her expression softening. “About me liking you. I don’t know when it happened, Dio, but... this isn’t just some weird side effect of the transformation. It’s been there for a while. I just... didn’t realize it until now.”
Arin paused, and for a moment, I could see the conflict in her eyes, the way she was struggling to find the right words. “Ever since I changed, everything feels... different. Like my body, my senses... it’s hard to explain. The way I see things feel things—it's like my brain’s rewiring itself. I catch myself thinking or acting in ways that don’t feel like ‘me,’ but also kind of... do.”
She shifted uncomfortably, glancing down at her hands. “I mean, I’m still me, right? But this body... it’s like it’s pushing me to feel things more intensely. My emotions, my instincts—they’re so much stronger. And it’s not just physical stuff either. It’s like... I’m more aware of you. Of the way I feel when I’m around you.”
I felt my heart skip a beat, but stayed quiet, letting her continue.
“At first, I tried to push it away, to tell myself that it was just the transformation messing with my head. But the more time I spend in this body, the more I realize... it’s not just that. I’ve *always* had feelings for you, Dio. It’s like this change has just... ripped down all the walls I didn’t even know I’d built.”
Her voice softened, a vulnerability creeping in. “This body... it’s made me confront things I’ve been ignoring. When we’re together now, I don’t just feel like your best friend anymore. I feel like I want more. Like I need more.”
Arin took a deep breath, her eyes searching mine. “And I think... I think this change has made me realize that I don’t want anyone else to have you. Maybe that’s why I’ve been acting so weird—jealous, possessive, whatever. Because now... now it’s not just about being your bro. It’s about being someone who *wants* you. And I know it’s messed up, but I don’t care.”
She gave me a weak smile, the honesty in her words hitting me like a freight train. “I just... I need to know if you feel it too, Dio. Or if this is all in my head.”
My mind clears of its fog and as predicted the floodgates break. I aggressively kiss my friend who melts into the kiss with a practiced ease. Everything feels so right with her. His arms wrapped around mine. Our lips pressed together I need more. More of her more of us. When I break the kiss my mind has fully accepted her as “mine”
We speed (responsibly) back to my place and can barely make it in the door before we pounce on each other again. Her tongue aggressively probes my mouth as she tries to find some way anyway to be closer and nor intimate with me. Eventually, she does so when she starts sucking my tongue into her mouth. The attraction between us rapidly turns into lust I pull Arin’s jeans down to find she wasn't wearing panties.
I broke the kiss and said, “Naughty girl.” Arin moaned and said
“Do you have any idea how you affect me?” her words are pointed hot and sexy. I lift her shirt and I find her perky tits roll right out to greet me.
Come on babe fuck me,” she moans as palms her petite pert tities. Arin repeats her previous message this time in a louder frustrated tone.
“I need you inside of me. I need all of you,” she whines desperately. I open my slacks and align myself with her wet folds before plunging in Arin wails like a banshee in heat
“Oh fuck you're so big. You're gonna tear me in half.” then she adds the following and I lose control “Do it use me like a sex doll.” I grab Arin’s waist tightly before bending her over and plowing into her pussy because it's mine and I own it. Arin moans in delirious pleasure.
The sound of slapping skin echoes in my apartment for a while as our bodies just follow their instincts. Feeling around the rest of Arin’s body I find the soft jiggle of her ass wildly appealing and begin to spank it as I rail her with my cock. She moans saying “Oh fuck Dio keep going! Keep it up.” I nod and thrust into her harder and more deliberately until she says.
“Harder!” so I go harder. Arin wails as her sodden pussy clenched around my cock trying to keep me as close as possible. Her fingers claw into my back as begs me to cum.
“Come on Diovalo cum in my pussy make it yours make me yours forever,” Arin says desperate and it sends me over the edge as I blast into her. Arin moans as her orgasm overtakes her but we keep thrusting and grinding into each other as the friction of our bodies hopefully fuse in an endless dance of pleasure… it doesn't but we smile at each other as our bodies calm down. We stared into each other’s eyes in silence with nothing other than our affection and love holding us together.
“I love you Arin. I say and Arin blushes wildly but responds, “I love you more Dio.”
I laugh and say, “Good to see your competitive streak is still there.”
The night after dinner was a blur of quiet confessions and the kind of closeness we hadn’t ever dared to admit we wanted. We didn’t need to talk much after that; the weight of our feelings was already out in the open, hanging in the air between us like some fragile, precious thing. And when Arin finally leaned in and kissed me again, it was different—less tension, more... certainty.
We spent the night together, wrapped up in the newness of it all but also in the familiar warmth of having been best friends for years. Somehow, it felt like nothing had changed and yet *everything* had.
When I woke up the next morning, the first thing I noticed was how peaceful Arin looked. She was lying on her side, her hair a tousled mess, but there was a calmness in her expression, a kind of acceptance that hadn’t been there before.
I watched her stir, slowly waking up as the sunlight filtered in through the curtains. Her eyes fluttered open, and when she saw me, a soft smile spread across her face.
“Morning,” she whispered, her voice warm and full of something I couldn’t quite place—contentment, maybe. Or relief.
“Morning,” I murmured back, reaching out to brush a stray strand of hair from her face. She leaned into my touch, and for the first time since this whole crazy transformation happened, she seemed... *settled.*
“I feel... good,” Arin said after a moment, her eyes closing as if she was savoring the feeling. “Like, for the first time since I changed, I’m not fighting myself. I’m not confused or freaked out. I just... *am.*”
I smiled at her, my chest swelling with affection. “You look like you’ve finally found your balance.”
She nodded, her gaze softening as she looked at me. “I think I have. I mean, this body... it’s who I am now. And I’m okay with that. More than okay. I feel like I’m finally who I was meant to be.”
There was a moment of silence between us, comfortable and warm. And then something flickered in the back of my mind—a memory, faint but growing clearer the longer I lingered on it.
“Hey... do you remember a few weeks ago, when we went out to that field to watch the shooting stars?” I asked, my voice slow as the memory sharpened.
Arin’s eyes widened slightly, and she nodded. “Yeah... yeah, I do. Why?”
I smiled, the memory flooding back in full force now. “We were lying there, talking about... I don’t even remember what. And then, out of nowhere, you said, ‘I wish I could just be who I want to be, with the person I want to be with.’”
Arin blinked, her expression softening with recognition. “You said the same thing,” she murmured, a small, surprised smile forming on her lips. “We were both staring at the stars, making wishes like kids.”
“And now here we are,” I said, my heart pounding as I realized how perfect it all seemed. “You’re who you’re meant to be. And... I think I’m exactly where I’m meant to be, too.”
Arin’s smile widened, and she leaned in closer, her hand finding mine. “Maybe those stars were listening after all.”
I laughed softly, pulling her closer until our foreheads touched. “Maybe they were.”
And then, just like that, we kissed—slow and gentle, like the universe had been leading us here all along. Everything that had been building between us, all the tension, the fear, the uncertainty—melted away, leaving only this quiet, certain happiness.
When we finally pulled apart, Arin grinned at me, her eyes sparkling with a kind of joy I hadn’t seen in her before. “You know, I think we just got our happily ever after.”
I smiled back, my heart light. “Yeah... I think we did.”
And with that, we kissed again, the memory of those shooting stars lingering between us, as if they’d granted our wish after all.

WHEN I NEEDED YOU masterlist
the next morning, you woke up early, feeling a lingering sense of anxiety that stayed with you all morning. at first, you thought that last night was just a dream, but seeing Vi's red leather jacket brought all the memories flooding back. you took off the jacket and held it to your face, breathing in the scent: a mix of perfume and cigarettes, an odd smell, but it made you smile.
while getting ready for college, you thought about what to say to Trish and how to face Troy. you weren’t even sure if he knew what had happened or if he realized you had seen him that night. these thoughts brought back the unpleasant images, making you grimace.
“disgusting jerk,” you muttered to yourself as you headed to the kitchen, where the smell of breakfast was already in the air. entering, you saw your parents laughing over coffee and sharing stories. they had always been an example of a good relationship for you. you had hoped to find the same happiness someday, but Troy had shattered your self-esteem and any desire for romantic relationships.
“good morning, family,” you tried to act as if everything was fine, not wanting to spoil breakfast with details from the previous night.
“good morning, sweetheart. how was the party?” your dad smiled at you. you couldn’t hold back and started crying again; being with your parents made it hard to contain your emotions. they exchanged a look and came over to you.
“what happened? did someone hurt you?” your mom asked, alarmed, her eyes full of concern. as you collected your thoughts, they hugged you, which made you feel a little better. you shared what had happened. your dad seemed incredibly angry, his face turning red, but he focused on calming you. you didn’t feel like having breakfast, so after talking and having a cup of coffee, you decided it was time to go.
“if you’re not feeling well, I can call the college and tell them you won’t be there today. I’m so sorry this happened,” your mom said, stroking your hair and holding your hand.
“no, it’s okay. I don’t want to jeopardize my future because of Troy. I need to go.” your words were steady. you had no intention of skipping class and hiding under the covers. after all, he was the one who betrayed you - why should you be the one staying home?
“that’s my girl. I’m proud of you. I’m so sorry you went through this alone,” your dad said, looking at you.
“I… wasn’t alone.” you looked up and met your parents’ surprised gazes. “Vi was with me; she drove me home last night.”
“Vi? is she the girl from the soccer team?” your mom asked, trying to understand what you two had been doing together.
“yes, after… the incident, she was there to support me.” you smiled to yourself, remembering how the two of you had looked up at the stars.
“well, that’s good. but don’t jump into another relationship too quickly; you need time.” you felt your parents were a bit wary about your new friend.
“no, no. it’s nothing like that. we just… talked,” you blushed at your mom’s words.
“yeah, I can see it’s ‘nothing,’” your dad chuckled, and you decided it was definitely time to leave.
outside the college, Trish greeted you with a big hug. she was asking what had happened because she had heard strange rumors about you and Vi. after you explained the whole situation, she started shouting, “I’ll punch him in the face! who does he think he is?!”
“I can’t say I don’t share your enthusiasm, but he’s not worth it. I just need some time right now,” you laughed. Trish was always ready to defend you, and you felt grateful for her.
“all right, so tell me, how’s Vi?” she winked at you.
“you too?” you rolled your eyes. “she was just there when… I needed her. nothing else…” you blushed again. why did the thought of her make you so nervous?
“if you say so, my friend. I’m not mad, you two would look good together, if you know what I mean.” Trish started blowing kisses in the air, imitating a kiss.
“can we not? let’s change the topic,” you laughed at her theatrics.
“fine,” Trish looped her arm through yours as you headed inside. “we still haven’t planned your birthday. and before you say you don’t want a celebration, let me remind you it’s one of the best days of the year, so no objections!” you both walked towards the classroom.
“I don’t know. I thought maybe this year we’d just hang out at my place? I’m not really sure I want to invite anyone,” you felt a pang of sadness again, but agreed that Troy and his betrayal shouldn’t take your day away from you.
“no, that won’t do. I suggest…” Trish thought for a moment, “I suggest a pajama party! we can invite some girls from college, watch movies, gossip… you could even invite Vi.” she winked at you.
“for gossip and movies? seriously? she plays soccer and hangs out with guys in her free time. I don’t think she’d be interested.”
“why not? it’s your birthday, after all. worth a try,” Trish shrugged.
after her words, you entered the classroom. the whole time, you kept thinking about what she had said. maybe it was worth trying.
after class, you were ready to head home and walked into the hallway when suddenly the entire soccer team was in front of you. Troy caught your eye, and a moment later, he was kissing you. shocked, you screamed and pushed him away.
“what the hell are you doing?!” you shouted loudly, and everyone was staring at you as Troy replied, "not in the mood?"
“not in the mood? I don’t want to see you. don’t come near me,” you started backing away from him, feeling all the curious eyes on you.
“babe, what are you doing?” your ex said, sounding a bit nervous.
“I should be asking you that - what are you doing with your pants down at a party in your room?” you didn’t hold back; what was the point? you felt hurt and wanted to humiliate Troy. he just stared at you. the whole team quickly left, leaving the two of you alone. you noticed the irritation on his face. without a word, he pinned you against the wall in the corridor. there was nowhere for you to slip away; fear gripped your body.
“think it's cool to humiliate me in front of the team?” he growled angrily in your face. your body shook with fear, and you realized there was nowhere to escape, no one around. “you’re nothing without me. if you were a bit smarter, you’d keep quiet and go on playing the good girl.”
his words hit you hard, and before you knew it, tears filled your eyes. just as you tried to say something, a lump in your throat silenced you. being pinned to the wall was terrifying; you wanted to scream, but it was like you were paralyzed. you no longer recognized Troy - or maybe you had never known him? just as he grabbed your throat, a familiar voice sounded.
“doesn’t seem like the best way to treat a girl, Troy,” it was Vi. she stood right next to you both, glaring at your ex with cold fury.
“oh, look who it is. the knight in shining armor,” his hand was still on your throat, and you could feel the air getting thinner. “seems like I'm not the only one who likes to have a little fun on the side. trying something new, huh, whore?” he sneered in your face.
“maybe next time, invite me along. missing my dick for complete satisfaction, are we, babe?” Troy’s words shocked you, and you felt like you might throw up right on him.
what happened next happened so fast. Vi grabbed him by the shirt, pulling him away from you, and punched him square in the face, sending him to the ground.
“dyke bitch, I'll kill you!” blood dripped from his nose, and Vi stood over him.
“if you come near her again, speak to her, or even look her way, a broken nose will be the least of your problems, got it?” her voice was cold and calm, which struck fear into both of you. Vi took your hand and led you toward the exit. you heard Troy shouting after you, “this isn’t over!"
catching your breath outside, you looked at Vi, who was watching over you.
“are you okay? do you need to go to the hospital or…?” she pulled out a cigarette and lit it.
“no, I just... no, I just want to get out of here,” you said, and she just nodded. “thank you. I don’t know what he would’ve done if you hadn’t been there. but now you’ll have problems; you shouldn’t have hit him.”
“I don’t think so. his ego won’t let him tell anyone that I beat him up. besides, he was choking you and meant to hurt you, so it’s in his best interest to keep quiet,” Vi shrugged. “let me take you home.”
“we really need to stop meeting like this,” you tried to lighten the tense situation.
“can’t argue with that,” Vi laughed. “the main thing is that you’re okay.”
when you pulled up to your house, you said, “thanks for driving me home again. wait a few minutes, and I’ll bring your jacket back?”
“keep it; it suits you better,” Vi winked, making you blush.

AN/ So I got very inspired by seeing posts of how Dean deserved to be a dad! Here is my story of that and this would take place after season 15 so he is alive and happy! Hope you enjoy!
Six Years since I last saw Dean Winchester, the man that came and left in an blink of an eye. The charming yet somewhat earnest type that I always fell for helped that he was hot as hell. Those crystal green eyes, white prince smile, glitter freckle kissed skin that almost made you believe in miracles. I was the waitress at the restaurant where he and his partner went every night while they were in town trying to find a missing person and thankfully they did but with that came a goodbye. But he did leave me with something, not an std but our daughter.
I wanted to tell him so many times but how was I supposed to tell this barely a familiar hook up that he had a kid. When he left he told me that he liked me and maybe if he was staying around we could try something but he wasn't. I found out I was pregnant with Bella two weeks later. So was I really going to tell a guy I didn't even really know that he was a dad and potentially ruin his career and break my heart if he told me to screw off. The answer was no.
So here I was six years later with the best little girl in the world and trying my best. “Hey mom could you please pick Bella up? I have to pick up this shift.” I was balancing my phone between my shoulder and ear while my hands were full of plates of food while I was widing through the sticky tables. “Of course sweetie I'll see you at eight.” My mom has been my biggest supporter since the day I was pregnant.”Ok thank you so much love you bye oh and don’t let her eat so much ice cream again she threw up all over the couch last time.” “I'm her grandma, I'm supposed to spoil her.” “Bye Mom.” I said in a loving jokey way.
It was almost seven thirty when I was walking up to my table and had just gotten satten. I was carrying two glasses of water to the table when I heard a voice that I thought I would never hear again. “Oh Hey Y/n right? You're still working here, that's cool.” I look up and drop the water. It was Dean fucking Winchester. “Whoa you okay?” he swooped down to help pick up the pieces of now broken glasses. I can’t even look at him. “Hey Y/n” He grabbed my hand I didn’t realize but it was bleeding. “Are you okay?” I barely get a word out. “Hey can I get a towel or bandaid please!?”
He called out and a co-worker ran over. “Is she okay?” “Dean, I'm fine.” My friend’s eyes widened knowing that name. “Uh, why don't you take a break? I'll bring more waters” I begged with my body for her to stay but she ignored me knowing that was not her place. We sat down in the booth. I kept staring at my bloody hand hoping it was a terrible nightmare but then he spoke again.
“I know it's been a while since I've been here but I swear that I had good reason to. I had to take care of something that took longer than expected. I wanted to come back. I've missed this place, you.” My heart flutters a little. “It’s okay not like you had something to come back to.” I know that’s a little harsh but I was trying to drive him away as quickly as possible. “Well you're here and I don’t know about you but I had an amazing time when I was last here.”
My head flashed back to that night the last night he was here we were together for hours in the sheets. It wasn't just sex but we talked about our hopes and dreams. Maybe that's why I wanted to talk to him a little longer. “I guess you're right it wasn’t half bad.” I smirked. “Half Bad? Excuse me but I believe you were the one begging for more-” Before he can go on I kick him. “Fine, you were great, happy.”
“Very happy, hey did you ever go to college for acting.” what? He remembered my dream not even boyfriends who had been with me for a long time remembered that. “I can't believe you still know that.” “How could I forget, your face lit up talking about it every time.” We both smiled thinking about those times. But the air froze when we heard another voice. “Mommy! I can’t wait to show you my drawing!” Bella ran over and jumped in my lap. I looked at the clock and it was eight fifteen, shit.
“Oh, baby I'm sure it's so beautiful I'll look at home okay.” “But Mommy!” I started to try to get up but being a six year old she was dragging her feet. “But Momma!” “Bella! Let's go!” I hated it when my yelling voice came out. I finally looked at Dean and he looked like he had been slapped in the face. “Hey mister, would you like to see?” She asked Dean kindly like I had taught her. “Bella he's busy-” “I would love to.” She pulled out a picture and it was a drawing of a family.
“You see that's me and mommy and that's grandma.” He nods looking out the picture. “It's really good, Hey do you have a daddy Bella?” He asked the question I had been fearing. “No, I don’t.” She answered so quickly and without thought it broke my heart. “And how old are you Bella?” “I’m this many” She holds up six fingers. Dean just sits there thinking. “Bella, could you go back to your grandma?” She seems sad. “You can get ice cream!” I tried. Of course, she jumps up and runs to the counter. I sit back down at the booth sighing. “Dean I-” he holds up his hand with tears in his eyes. “I just have one question. Is she my daughter?” “Yes.”
It had been at least twenty minutes. I broke the ice. “Dean, I don't even know where to start.” “How about you start why you kept my fucking child away from me?” He was mad of course who wouldn't be. “Dean you have to understand why I did it, I didn't tell you because I knew what kind of job you had and that you couldn't just drop everything. I mean you told me you couldn't stay.” “You don't think my kid would change that!?” I had tears building up.
“I didn't know you Dean, I didn't want a guy to tell me to screw off that I was just starting to really like and that I knew you just couldn't stay.” He’s silent again. “I want to know her.” I'm a little shocked. “Dean I know it was fucked up of me to keep this from you but you can't just go away because of a job or something that needs you for weeks I won't allow Bella to be hurt like that.” He did not hesitant “I won’t.”
And from there on out it was kind of nice. We had set up a system where Bella could spend time with Dean so we didn't freak her out when we told her. I could really see both of them loving each other. I met his brother and he was very surprised to hear he had a niece. Bella loved spending time with both of them. It had been a couple of months. The more time we all spent together the more my heart became comfortable with Dean around, that’s what terrified me.
We were eating Chinese food with Bella and for the first time I felt like we had a family but then his damn phone rang. He checked the name and I saw his face fall a little from his previous smile but he was keeping it together for us. “Uh hey, what’s up?” I couldn't hear everything but I did hear the level of the voice and it was not calm.
“Yeah, I'll be there.” He responded back. He hangs up and looks at me. “Dean no no you promised-” “I know I did and trust me I don’t want to go but I have to. This friend needs me.” We need you, I need you but of course, I didn't say that out loud. He gets up to get his things and bends down to Bella’s level. “Hey Bells, I'll be back in a little.” She clearly doesn't want him to go. “But we were going to play barbies after dinner.” She whined in true six-year-old fashion.
“I know and promise as soon as I get back we will and I'll bring back a new Barbie friend how about that.” She leaps in his arms. “Yay! Thank you, Dean, I love you.” Dean and I both got stiff at that it was the first I love you between them. He squeezes her harder at that. “I love you too Bella.” He lets go and goes to the front door and I follow.
“How long are you going to be gone?” “I honestly don't know Y/n I wished I did.” At that, I got angry he fucking promised. “Dean, what kind of Job do you have that you don’t know when you'll be home!?” He put his hands on the sides of my face. “I will tell you everything when I get home.” He saw my uneasy face. He leans down I think for a kiss but not where I was expecting. It was my forehead, a slow caring one. “You have no idea what you guys mean to me. I will come back and explain everything.” With that, he leaves.
I put Bella to bed hours ago and it was five in the morning but I couldn't go to bed not knowing he was safe. Finally, the door creaks open but very quietly. It was Dean but he looked like he walked through Hell. “Hey, what are you still doing up?” I sip my coffee not really having the anger anymore but being replaced with worry. That’s when I knew I was in deep shit I was falling in love with Dean Winchester. “I couldn't sleep not knowing you were safe.” There is just silence between us. I look up and can't hold back anymore and run into his safe arms. We are like this for like two minutes. “I think it’s time I tell you what I really did, you might want to sit down for this.”
“So you're saying everything I've ever told Bella was fake is real.” “Yes” “And God, Angels, the Devil, Demons, are real.” “Yup and actually an Angel is one of my best friends.” I gulp the rest of my coffee down, maybe thinking this was a dream and I would wake but no this was real. “Okay, I somehow believe you.” “Really some people call Sam and me crazy when we have to tell them.” “Well, I know both you and Sam and you're not liars.” “Thank you.” “No problem.” I break the ice once more. “So that’s why you had to leave to help someone.”
“Yeah, an old friend was going to a vamp nest.” He looked down at my confused face. “Sorry, I'll explain all the monster lore another time.” “A vamp nest sounds dangerous Dean.” “it is.” I let out what I was thinking the whole night. “Dean I don't want to tell you what to do but you can't just go out anymore like that not when you have a kid now and not when I- '' I was stopped by his lips on mine and it was like nothing changed. We let go.
“I'm sorry if I was reading that wrong Y/n but I care about you too and Bella and thank Chuck every day that he gave me you too.” “Chuck?” He chuckles. “More lore but this is way more important.” He gripped my hips and pulled me forward like he did six years ago. “Wait Dean before we go further even though I would love to relive how we made Bella I need to know this is a hundred percent real and this isn't another in-the-moment type thing.” He kisses me deeply again. “I'm a thousand percent for you and our family.” Our family I never thought I would hear those words and that did me in.
SMUT .................................................................................................................
I pull him in and kiss him again but this time put some real feeling in it. He slips his tongue in like it was natural. “Mhh Dean.” “Would you like to move this to the bed?” I jump up and he catches me. “Yes sir.” He walks me to my bedroom and kicks the door open and lays me down. He gets on top and starts to kiss down my neck. “Lets see, I think this is where your special spot is right?” He sucks down on my pressure point and I mewl with pleasure.
“Ding ding ding we have a winner.” He said slyly. “Dean, please no teasing, it's been six years.” “Aww darling did I get you all worked up.” “Dean fucking Win-” He goes down to my thighs and starts to pull off my shorts and underwear. “You already soaked baby is this all for me?” He starts to rub his finger up and down my slit. I barely answer. “Uh-huh.” “That’s it baby just feel me.” he puts his finger in my pussy. “AHH DEAN!” I grip his wrist.
“Shh, you don't want to wake Bells.” “Oh, you motherfucker!” He goes faster and faster. “Are you almost there?” “Yes!” He speeds all the way up. “Okay let go.” And I came all over his fingers. “Ahh, I missed that.” “You son of a-” I laughed and dragged him into another kiss. It was starting to get heavy again and he was unbuckling quickly. “Are you sure about this?” he asked earnestly. “A thousand percent.” He smiled his goofy smile and went on. But something stopped the both of us. “Mommy moma!” I look down at his tent. “I'll go but we'll continue this later.'' I leave him with a lingering kiss and him thinking he is the luckiest guy in the world.
There's a second part now: Trick or Treat with smut!

And Comes Dawn pt 9
Pairing: sauron/halbrand x reader, isildur x reader, sauron/halbrand x reader
Word count: 2k.
Summary: dudes just gotta stop deceiving people.
Tags: angst, insecurities, isil being a Good Dude, Galadriel and the reader still hate each other
Notes: I'm very tired (two sick kiddos will do that to a mom) and not too happy with this one. But it's a filler part. As always love yall and the feedback
You stood in silence as Halbrand left. His revelation of his past with his father and uncle had broken your resolve in your anger towards him. Confusion still sat in your chest and itched the back of your mind, but you had forgiven him. He seemed so passionate in his intention to earn you, but you had no idea what he meant by that. His deeds had already shown his character. He had saved you so many times it would be useless to count. You could only wonder what had plagued him so that he felt he still felt as if he was too tainted for you.
You thought this over, getting lost in your thoughts and thoughts of what had transpired the night before. You had never felt anything like that. Sure, you'd had desires that crossed your mind late at night. You’d had a rather large crush on one of the local farm hands, and he had entered your dreams many times. However, nothing compared to the heat that burned through you at Halbrands touch, the gruff sound of his voice, the feel of his hot breath. You had to close your eyes, and your teeth dug into your bottom lip as you willed the thoughts that filled your mind to go away.
Soon, though, you found yourself wishing for the sound of the waves and smell of the ocean air, so you made the venture outside the inn. You watched the hustle and bustle of the locals, the sound of children's laughter. You never wanted to leave this place. It was so different from your home.
The sound of your name being called made you stand straight and tall. Soon, Isildur was running up to you, breathing heavily. “I don’t have much time, I have to be at the beach in…well, very soon,” He looked at you with a smile, placing his hands on your shoulders. “I came here to apologize for making a scene and for putting your honor to question. That was never my intention, and if you wanted to, I would completely understand if you wanted to slap me in the face a time or two. I have more than earned that.”
You couldn’t help but smile, shaking your head, “I don’t think that will be needed.”
He laughed, “I am relieved, I was not looking forward to explaining that black eye to my father.”
His smile faltered for a moment as he searched for words, “If your heart belongs to another, I hope you know that I would find contentment in your friendship as well. Perhaps it would not be my first choice, but being your friend would be an honor beyond measure.”
You nodded, reaching out and squeezing his hand, “I would be content with that too. I hope that I did not lead you to believe there was more.”
Isildur shook his head, “You did not. You are simply beautiful and kind and funny, and I am but a man. I still would like to show you more of my city's culture. There is a massive library and halls of art and food better than what we were treated to last night. That is, if you are indeed interested in that.”
“Of course,” you grinned, excitement bubbling in your belly.
“Yes? Yes! Well, then I shall see you later this evening? Right before sun down. I’ll meet you here?”
You nodded, your lips parted to answer when you heard one of his friends call his name, and he simply smiled at you before running off. You remembered what Halbrand said. He wanted you to have friends, and so you would. Isildur was kind. He was respectful, and you had no reason not to trust him.
~
“Where is Halbrand?”
You looked from your lunch of rice and fish, your spirits dropping at the sound of the elf's voice. You had avoided her as best as you could, and it had been successful for the most part. You knew she hated you, and while you did your best to understand her hatred, there was part of you that blamed elves as well. If it weren’t for them, your mother would still be alive, and you’d have the baby sibling you had been so excited for. But you knew it was unfair to blame Galadriel for that. You just wish she would understand the same for you.
“Where is Halbrand?” She repeated, sounding annoyed. You noticed that in her hand, she held what appeared to be a scroll.
“I do not know. I have not seen him since this morning.”
“Did he give you any idea to where he was going?”
You shook your head, turning back to your food. You did not want this conversation to last longer than it needed to.
“You seem rather content to sit and do nothing, to feast on the food of a people who have earned prosperity. I seek to fix the wound your ancestors and your family caused. Do you not seek redemption?”
You stared at the rice on your plate, your expression hardening as you tried to keep your tongue. A fight would solve nothing. You knew she was hurting as were you but the smugness in which she carried herself, the arrogance that radiated from her, it was fueling an anger in you.
“I have committed no crime to be redeemed for.” You spoke softly, not bothering to look up at her.
“Do you not feel guilty for the 37 elven souls your father, brother, and uncle took. Are they not worth redemption? Are they not worth trying to right your fathers wrongs?”
“And what of the families in the Southlands that your kind oppresses for a sin none of us committed. Crops die, money is scarce and yet we have to give a portion to the great elves who want not for food or medicine.”
“It is a reminder…”
“A reminder that to elves, we will always be less than. You act as if the Numenorians were bestowed greatness by your kind as if man can not achieve that on his own. You act as if children are responsible for the sins of their fathers as if the elves have committed none.”
“You speak of which you know little,” Your raised voices were beginning to draw a crowd. “Do you feel no guilt or remorse for what was done?”
“I feel remorse every day. Do you forget I was a child? Do you feel no remorse for your people making me watch as your people executed my only family.”
“It was what had to be done.” She replied, coldly staring you down.
“You are but a petulant child. Your callousness and arrogance will leave you without friend or affection, and I can not imagine what a lonely existence that will be for someone who does not die.” You stood up and pushed past her, walking fast to escape the eyes following you.
`
It was after Isildur took you to the grand library and to get dinner that you had learned of Halbrands fate from the whispers of locals as you walked past. You had enjoyed your time, feeling a true bond of friendship between the two of you. You were falling more and more in love with this island and hoped upon hope that you would be able to stay here. There was nothing for you at home. Orcs had burned down the only home you knew, but this seemed so far away from that. As if evil could not touch it.
Halbrand wasn’t evil, but he may be ruining your chances of being here with his antics. You had come to the realization that wherever you went, he was likely to follow. It was a strange sentiment to have in such a short time, but you knew you’d follow him too. No matter where his temper might land him. It was for this reason you had found some food and skin of wine and were down to the dungeons.
It seemed you weren’t the only visitor he had. You heard the elves' voice before you saw her and waited in the shadows, listening to the conversation unseen. Perhaps you shouldn’t but your curiosity got the better of you. A dispute about a woman? You could tell from the way he was speaking that it was about her.
Of course it was.
You wanted greatly to believe all that he had told you that morning, that he had shared something personal with you and that was a sign of how he trusted you but here he was so freely telling her of his past. The heir to the throne of the Southlands, how his ancestor was who swore a blood oath to Morgoth. All of those had been lacking from the story he had told you. You didn’t think him a liar, but you didn’t know what to think as it seemed he so easily opened himself up to the elf.
You heard as the elf mentioned fate bringing them together, of him going to Middle Earth with her, and he did not argue against any of it. If his intentions were truly with you, why then did he not make that known to her? You were able to see his expression as she ascended the stairs. He watched after her as if she was some grand prize with a twinkle to his eyes and a smirk playing at his lips. She was a prize, you supposed, she was an elf. Truly unattainable, with beauty that men merely dreamed of finding. She was mysterious and strong.
And what were you?
You had nothing to your name. Your only talent was in what your mother and the family kept you as a ward taught you - healing and gardening. You didn’t suppose you were all that beautiful. No one had attempted to court you. You were not mysterious or battle hardened or the daughter of a noble bloodline.
You were just you.
Of course, she would be the prize.
Quietly, you slipped from the shadows and made your way to where Halbrand stood. You saw his smile, and perhaps if you hadn’t been so caught in your insecurities you’d see how he looked at you as if you were the dawn itself. But his smile faded slightly when he saw your face.
“Sweet one?” His hands reached through the bars for your hand, which you simply pulled away from him. His brows furrowed in confusion.
“I brought this for you,” You slipped him the cloth full of bread, fish, fruits, and cheese along with the skin full of wine.
His eyes never left yours, sitting it all behind him on the bench as your eyes looked at the ground. “Will you not look at me? Are you upset about this? It was simply a…”
“Dispute about a woman,” you repeated his words back to him. You saw his expression shift. He knew you heard his conversation.
“Sweet one…” He started.
“I could find contentment in a friendship with you. That would be an honor,” Your words echoed what you were told mere hours before.
“Friendship?” He laughed softly in disbelief, looking at you as if you grew two heads, “I told you of my intentions, and I meant it.”
“I do not know if you did. I do not know if you know what it is you want. I do not want to fight in a competition with the elf when I know I would lose it.”
“What are you talking about?” He breathed the words out.
“I see how it is you look at her. I hear how you two talk. I am not stupid enough to think that you do not want for her as she does for you. In talks of what your future holds, you never mentioned me.”
He scoffed, “You are reading too much into it.”
“I do not think that I am.”
“Do not reduce this to mere friendship. Please, sweet one.” He looked at you as if his heart was breaking, his eyes frantically searching your face for an answer.
“I need to go,” you backed away from the cell.
His fingers reached for you, but you pulled away, “Please, sweet one, please do not go when I can not follow.”
You spoke no more words, turning on your heels and wiping at the hot tears that were spilling from your eyes. You ignored the desperate calls of your name as you ascended the stairs. The only thing you could see was the way his face lit up when he saw Galadriel.

hey ! i'd love a paul lahote x reader but based on the song 'but daddy I love him' by taylor swift :) no worries of not!
heyy! no problem 💜 hope you enjoy :)
but daddy i love him - paul x reader
Seeing him with his friends made you want to look at him. His eyes shift to you and you quickly look away. Paul Lahote wouldn’t deal with someone like you. The girls he got with were like society’s rejects. You focus back in on the words that came out of your friend’s mouth.
Tapping the same tune of the piano in front you, you feel a buzz from your phone. While the teacher is away, you read the message.
“Me and some friends are going out. Are you coming?”
Leah, your family friend, texted you.
“I’m at piano practice right now. I doubt they will let me go.”
You tell Leah this, knowing that your parents won’t let you go out with people that they haven’t met their parents.
“Just tell them you’re sleeping over my house.”
You debate.
“Leah Clearwater?” your mother says during dinner.
“Yes.” you say as you take the fork to your lips.
“You’re going to call when you get there right? I also want to speak to her mother, Sue. I know her well.”
“Yes.” you say, a bit annoyed they’re still treating you small.
Dropping you off, you gun straight for Leah’s room. “So where are you going out to?” you say sitting in a chair in her bedroom. She turns from the mirror of putting her necklace on, pulling you up.
“We are going to my boyfriend’s birthday party.”
“What if my parents call?” you say worriedly.
“If they get suspicious we will move to the next room and I will speak to them.”
“Okay but they want to speak to your mom.”
Leah tells you to call them now. Sue confirms that you’re there. Without any more excuses, she changes you out of the boring clothes that she claims that you were wearing.
Sweat began to smother your palms as you heard the muffled music. Walking in, it was a lot of people that you didn’t know. Leah links her arm with you and smiles to you, “Don’t be nervous. Just have fun. Stick with me.” You nod in agreement.
Leah and her partner embrace and she introduces you both. You wave a friendly wave. Walking to his crowd of friends, you notice Paul again. You’re nervous as you move closer.
“Want to dance?” he asks you and you almost jump.
“I don’t know how to.” you say stuttering out and nervously chuckle.
“Want me to teach you?” he asks again. You don’t know when’s the next time this once in a lifetime moment will happen so you nod.
He keeps his hands on your waist and hips. Whispering to you to feel the music. Soon, your hips move on their own. You’re now not nervous about the closeness of him to you. He gives you his number. You just couldn’t believe it. Leah laughs as you both lay in her bed that night. “Mommy and Daddy would not approve.”
“I don’t know. He seems nice.” you say as your fingers dance with a loose piece of fabric on her blanket.
On the phone, butterflies fluttered and danced in your stomach. His soothing and relaxing voice leaked into your dreams. You seen him be rude and cruel to others but you felt like you were his favorite person. Only showing his softness to you.
You got Leah to cover you in order to go on your first date.
“Playing with fire.” she says, knowing the outcome of the result. She fixed your hair.
“It’s harmless.” you say to her.
The kisses began after the date, only to never end there. Without your knowledge, people who knew your parents, warned them without a second thought. Afraid you would succumb to the boy’s delinquent behavior. They didn’t want Paul to taint you.
“You are to never see him again.” your father scolds at you. Your mother looks at you with disappointment.
“Why not? He’s not doing anything to anyone.” you cried, it felt like they stomped on your heart over a thousand times.
“He’s a bad influence! See him again, you’re grounded until this year is out.” he says and ends it with that.
That didn’t stop answering his phone calls. They said you cant see him again. Not talk to him again.
On your way home, he stops you, “You’re good at math right?” You nod.
You both “studied”, but not for long. You soon found out he pretended to not know the answers but you didn’t care. The kisses were hot and heavy. His feel ups felt good. Carefully and slowly, he took your virginity.
“Where have you been?!” your father pressed on. You lost total track of time. You opened your mouth but he cuts you off, “And you better not say Leah because she doesn’t know where you are.”
“I was..out..I needed to clear my head so I walked around for some time.” you say to him a small voice.
“If I find out that you were with that Lahote kid, we’re taking it into me and your mother’s hands.” he says to you.
“We’re just two people in love right?” Paul says to you on the phone after you vent to him about what your father said.
“You..Love me?” you ask him.
“Yes. You love me right?” he asked on the other end of the line.
“Of course I do.” you reply.
Parents gone and out for a charity event, you fake sick. Paul sneaks over. You two finally embrace. Things are sweet. Things turn sour as your bedroom door swings open, revealing your angry father.
Half out on clothes, you and Paul both run onto the lawn with a furious father trailing behind.
“You better stay away from my daughter.”
“But daddy, I love him!” you cry out.
“Y/N, you’re not seeing him again! What ever this is, it’s over.”
“No! I’m having his baby and we’re going to be together.”
His face contorts to the most angriest face he could muster up. Your mother clutches onto her pearls with a shocked face.
“I’m just kidding. You should’ve seen both your faces.” you say trying to bring light to the situation.
“This is no kidding matter.”
“I’m not as bad as what people think about me. Y/N, brought out the best in me.” he says smiling down at you, interlacing your fingers with his.
Your mother joins from the doorway to the lawn, placing a hand on your father’s arm.
“I think we should get to know the boy a bit better.” she tries to persuade. Your dad looks down at you and Paul.
With his actions matching his words, Paul learned to not let your father be witness to his hotheaded ways. A quote from your father stuck with him, “You hurt her, I hurt you.” He couldn’t imagine a scenario where he could or would hurt you. The thought of it was just blasphemy to him.

0.2 | I’ll be here for you
Summary: the one where you and Bradley cross the boundary of being friends.
Warnings: teen pregnancy, Bradley’s mom is still alive currently
Paring: teen Bradley x teen Mitchel!reader
Full masterlist.
Trying to wrap your head around that you were pregnant was harder than you thought. You honestly felt like you had trapped Bradley from pursuing his dreams of being in the navy.
But he assured you that you had done nothing wrong and that you would figure it out together.
The hard part was telling your dad and his mom, but mainly just your dad.
Bradley and you were currently at his house for lunch, his mom was making chicken salad and mixed it in the bowl as you munched on some grapes.
“Hey Brad,” she called over her shoulder to the teen who was sitting in front of you.
“Yes ma’am?” Bradley looked up.
“You mind grabbing some plates?”
Bradley got up and went straight to the cabinet where the plates were kept, “Got it.”
He set them down at the table as she brought the bowl of chicken and some bread.
As soon as the smell hit your nose you gagged, you tried to hide it under your hand as she fixed her sandwich and asked Bradley about his chemistry class as he gave you worried glances.
He watched you swallow as you tried to hold yourself together, you gagged once again when you smelt it again and jolted up from your seat to run to the hallway bathroom.
You crouched down and emptied your stomach when Bradley came running in and grabbed your hair from your face.
“Are you ok?” He asked as he tried to move the hair and get you situated.
“Don’t look at me!” You waved his face away from yours as you gagged once more.
He backed off and grimaced, he held your hair as you finished up and groaned.
“What’s going on?” Carol ran into the bathroom as she heard the commotion.
“Everything’s okay.” Bradley reassured her, Carol looked very concerned as she crouched next to you.
“Do you need some medicine, baby?”
You shook your head, you knew what this was, it wasn’t the chicken salads fault, “No thank you, I’m fine now.” You got up and Bradley jumped in to steady you in case you fell over.
He had his hands on your arms as you walked out of the bathroom and he set you on the couch, “You want some water?”
“Please.” You nodded, the taste in your mouth was horrible, you needed something to wash it down.
He nodded and ran to the kitchen to grab a water bottle and brought it back to you. He opened it and handed it to you and looked to see if his mom was around, “Is it because of the…” he looked to your belly.
“Probably.” You groaned, you still didn’t believe you were pregnant, but the three tests you took after the first one said otherwise.
He took the bottle from you and placed it on the coffee table before tucking your hair behind your ear.
You looked into his eyes and wondered how he still cared for you when you were his best friend who was pregnant with his baby. How he seemed so unfazed and didn’t seem like he was scared, but you knew you definitely were.
“What do we do?” You whispered as tears filled your eyes.
Bradley sighed and shook his head, “I’ll have to sell my liver to afford diapers.” You could see the smirk on his face that tried to crawl its way onto his lips.
You smacked his arm and widened your eyes, “Stop it!”
He laughed and his shoulders shook as he rubbed your leg softly, “I’m kidding,” then his face went back to serious, “I don’t know, we just take it smooth until this baby comes.”
You nodded and wiped the tears from under your eyes, “I’m just, so sorry that I trapped you like this.”
“You didn’t trap me, it’s just an unexpected surprise.” He shrugged and tried to comfort you.
“But we aren’t anything Bradley, we’re childhood best friends who had sex and got pregnant.”
He nodded, “I know, I know. But hey,” he made you look into his eyes, “I’m not going anywhere. I’m not running off, we’ll figure this out. Together.”
You smiled and pulled him in for a hug, he wrapped his arms around you and rubbed your back.
Carol walked in and smiled as she watched you pull away from Bradley, she walked into the kitchen and grabbed a nausea pill and brought it to you.
“Here you go, you’ll feel better after you take this.”
You thanked her and took it as Bradley watched you carefully for any sign that you were going to get sick again.
When he realized you weren’t, he offered to drive you home.
“Please.” You mumbled as he grabbed his keys and stood up. You hugged and thanked Mrs. Carol before apologizing for the mess.
“You didn’t leave a mess, sweetheart, I just want you to feel better.” She rubbed your arm and pulled you in for one of her signature mom hugs.
“Thank you.” You smiled.
“Call me if you need anything!” She called out the door as you buckled up in Bradley’s truck.
He honked as he backed out and turned onto the road.
The ride was silent for a minute until you decided to break it, “Thank you for helping me.”
He glanced at you and turned back to the road, “That’s what I’m here for.” He saw the scared look on your face and smiled to make you smile.
It worked, Bradley’s smile always made you smile.
“The only problem is telling our parents.” He rubbed his face as he turned onto your street.
“Yeah, if my dad even listens.” You muttered.
He gave you an apologetic look, “I think he will this time.”
-
Bradley walked you inside and set your stuff down and hurried behind you as you made a beeline for the bathroom once more.
He sat down beside you and held your hair as you puked your guts out. He rubbed your back when you groaned and found a hair tie on the bathroom floor. He picked it up and, somehow managed to, tie your hair up.
Bradley grabbed a rag and wet it with cold water before putting it on your forehead and rubbing your back.
You spit into the toilet and flushed it as Bradley put the cold rag on your neck, “How are you feeling.”
You looked at him with a raised brow and he apologized, “I feel fine, just nauseous.”
He nodded, “That’ll probably happen for a couple more weeks.”
You nodded and stared at him for a moment, it was now settling in.
You really were pregnant.

I need you-Cole Walter
A/n: Well I might have fallen for yet another fictional character. So please be prepared for many with him. Now on to the story...
-Samantha
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Cole's POV
I was sitting around my dining room table with my brothers due to getting in trouble at school. I was growing tired of sitting here not wanting to talk to Alex after he told the school how I bawled to mom and dad about when my football dreams ended, even though I didn't start any rumors about him. Danny was reading his lines, making everyone get annoyed.
" Yeah, I'm with Isaac. Stop. And you guys, can you just, like, figure this out? Because, like this fight is affecting all of us now." Nathan said
" Really? It seems like it's mainly affecting me, though, right?" I then moved my head to my eye. " You know, the one with the black eye?" I stated
Which made all my brothers look over at me, I let out a sigh before saying, " All right, fine, I didn't spread the rumor about you crying like a little bitch, I wish I had, of course cause you snitched me to Dad, but I didn't."
" I didn't snitch." Alex said
All I did was give him a look which made him sigh. " Okay. I should have said,"no" instead of nothing to Dad, but I didn't because of what you said about Jackie and Y/n at the bonfire."
Which only got the rest of the talking, " What did you say about them at the bonfire?" Lee questioned
" Yeah, I kind of wanna know too." Danny said
" You guys, can we focus?" Nathan questioned
" You know what, Alex? I forgive you for punching me. But I'm really sorry that you can't get over how jealous you are of me." I said
He leaned up some more. " Jealous? Who could be jealous of someone who clearly peaked their sophomore year of high school?" He said
I didn't even listen to the others. All I did was get up to go fight him again. " Come over and say that again?" I said only to get stopped by Danny.
" Maybe I will." Alex responded
" Yo, Nathan, Guys, Nathan!" Lee shouted
I immediately stopped and went down to him. " Mom! Somebody get Mom and Dad. Go!" I said panicking
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We were all in the waiting room. All I could do was stare at the wall in front of me. The doctor came which made me stand up along with everyone else, after he told us things Mom and Dad went with him while I sat back down. I pulled out my phone to call Jackie, but decided to call Y/n. I couldn't help, but feel super anxious while listening to the ringing.
Your POV
I was finishing up some homework when my phone rang. I picked it up to find it was Cole. Even though I was still mad at him I answered because he normally never calls me.
"Hello" I said
All I heard was his sigh of relief. " Cole, you never call unless it's important." I said leaning back into my chair.
" I'm in the hospital..." he started, but immediately got interrupted by me. " What! Are you okay?" I said panicking
" It's Nathan...he had a seizure...and I'm scared." he replied
I stood up rushing to my closet to put shoes on. " Is there anything you need?" I questioned with concern holding my phone to my ear with my shoulder while I slipped my shoes on. What I heard next made me feel butterflies. " I need you." he whispered with a voice crack
Which made my heart break. " I'm on my way, Cole. Hang in there okay." I said
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I quickly found a parking spot and rushed inside the hospital. I scanned the waiting room and quickly found the Walters. I ignored the other ones for right now, my main focus was Cole who was leaning forward on his knees.
" Hey, come here." I softly said when I was close
He stood up and put his arms around my waist and pulled me into him. I gently drew circles on his back to calm him further. " I'm right here, I'm not leaving." I whispered
Danny's POV
I looked up when I heard Y/n's soft voice. She completely ignored us and I'm pretty sure it wasn't on purpose. I just watched them hug when I heard Isaac questioned me, " I thought they weren't talking right now?" I sighed, " Yea, but it's Y/n. She would do anything for him even if she was mad." I explained while still watching them. I then heard more footsteps to find Mom and Dad again.
"All right guys, um Nathan's going to be fine. He'll come back home tomorrow so why don't you guys head back home." Mom said
Your POV
I pulled away from Cole to find Katherine and George. She looked surprise to see me. " Oh, Y/n I didn't know you came." She said
I walked up to them. " Sorry, this one called and I couldn't not show up." I said pointing to Cole. She nodded and pulled me into a hug. " Well, I'm glad you did. I swear he's always in a better mood when you're around."
I smiled before pulling away then hugging George quickly. " Well if any of you want to ride with me I don't mind. I only saw Cole raise his hand a little. I nodded before giving the others quick hugs before heading out to take Cole back to the ranch house while Danny drove the rest.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We were about 10 minutes away from the ranch house. I glanced over at Cole in my passenger seat. " You doing okay, Cole." I whispered while moving my eyes back to the road.
" Yea, I'm sorry for what I said." he softly said
I let out a shaky breath. " It's fine, you know I can't stay mad at you."
" I..." I stopped him
" Let's just talk when you are more rested." I suggested
He nodded, I then parked my car and waited for him to get out. " You know you can come in." he whispered
" It's okay, I just wanted to make sure you were okay." I said leaning my head on the headrest.
" But I want you to come in." he said softly
I glanced over at him and felt bad for him. " Okay..." I whispered while I got out of my car after I shut it off.
We both walked to the front door and walked into his house after he unlocked it. " You want to go lie down?" I whispered closing the door
He didn't answer. All he did was walk up the stairs. I followed him up the stairs, we then walked right into his shared room with Danny. I saw him just lie down. I sighed a little and went to pull his shoes off. " Hey you don't need too." he said sitting up
" No, it's fine. I don't mind." I said
" Here, let me change and fine something for you." he said
I stopped and watched as he got up to get clothes. He walked over to me with one of his shirts. "Here you can wear this." He said handing me the shirt. I smiled a little and moved to change in the bathroom.
Once I was done I walked back to his room, to see him in bed already. " Come in." he whispered
I smiled a little and climbed in. " You know, Cole. Your brother is going to be okay." I whispered to him
" How do you know?" he whispered back
I turned to face him. " Because Nathan is strong and he will not let this ruin him." I softly said
He looked over at me with a slight smile. " Thank you, Y/n/n."
" No, need to thank me. Get some rest." I whispered going deeper into the covers. He let his hand intertwine with mine before he fell asleep. I smiled before also going to sleep.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Okay so I really hope you all like this one. I'm hoping it makes sense, I think it does but definitely let me know. Please enjoy!
Doll- stepdad dream smut
Stepdad!dream x afab reader smut
Kinks/warnings: Stepcest [PLEASE DONT FUCK YOUR STEP-SIBLINGS OR PARENTS. I DO NOT CONDONE THIS.], daddy kink, use of little one and other names, praising, thigh fucking, slight breeding.
A/N: im gonna step away from the Wilbur smut for a sec but I’ll make sure to make my way through those requests soon :3
Your mom introduced your stepdad dream a few months ago and he seemed like a decent enough guy. You were against your mom dating again after your father passed away but you eventually came around to the idea of dream staying with you guys. This isn’t to say you see him as a father figure, he treats you like his child in some ways but there’s just always been something off about you guys having a “father-child relationship”. He’s always been pretty touchy with you and you’d be lying if you said you didn’t enjoy it. At first it was playful touching, nothing coherently sexual about it, but then it progressed into you sitting on his lap and him running his hand up your thigh. Of course your mom never knew of any of this and you hoped she never would, you felt so guilty every time it happened but for some reason that made you even more turned on.
You walked into your bedroom and shut the door. You ran to your bed and flopped down; utterly exhausted. Exams were getting the best of you but you finally had some time to rest. Then you heard a knock on your door.
“Doll, do you want to watch a movie with me? Your mom is gone for the weekend and I’m bored.” Dream said, dragging out the D in bored. You were so tired but how could you say no to dream?
“Sure I’ll be down in a minute, pick out a movie for us.” You said reluctantly dragging your body off of your bed. You hear him turn away and start walking back downstairs as you head over to your closet. You get out a oversized shirt that dream had gave you as a hand-me-down and you change into it. You wanted to be comfortable so you took off your bra and didn’t put any shorts on so you were just in his shirt and your underwear. When you were done you made your way downstairs to dream cooking popcorn in the kitchen. You walk into the kitchen to grab a few snacks and go to sit them onto the living room table. You hear the microwave ding and you walk back into the kitchen to see dream putting the popcorn into a big bowl. You squeeze past dream, grinding against him as you do so, to look for the salt. You hear him let out a groan before walking up behind you, pressing your stomach up to the counter top as you feel his hard dick against your ass. You let out a whimper as he reaches up into the cupboard to grab the salt out.
“Is this what you were looking for darling~?” He asked you, putting the salt infront of your face but keep your bodies in the same position. All you could let out is a little ‘mhm’ as he backs away, walking into the living room. He presses play as you follow him onto the couch as you see him pat his lap, signaling for you to sit on it. You feel your face grow red as you press yourself onto his lap, his dick pressing onto your pussy as you let out a small moan. “What’s wrong baby?” Dream says as he feels his way up your thigh. You respond to him by pressing yourself harder onto his dick, “Is this the problem little one?” He says pressing has fingers onto your clothed pussy. “Awe, you’re soaking wet. Do you need daddy to take care of you?” He asks. You nod, “I need your words sweetheart”. “Yes daddy, please take care of me.” You say highly embarrassed. He giggles into your ear as he begins rubbing your pussy through your underwear, your hand shoots to his and you try to press yourself onto his hand. He slides your underwear down before sliding off his own. His hard dick shoots up as he makes you wrap your thighs around his dick. He starts thigh fucking you while both hands are squeezing your thighs. You hold onto his wrists while he kisses the back of your neck. Your pretty moans and his groans fill the room. “Fuck, you don’t know how long I’ve needed this doll. Ive needed to use your pretty little body so bad.” He says before fucking your thighs faster. His precum and your wetness covering your thighs as his dick slides between your folds and hits your clit in just the right way. “Ah~ gonna cum daddy” you moan, squeezing his wrists. “Cum for me, you’re doing so good” he says as he removes one of his hands from your thigh to circle your clit instead.
He cums all over your thighs as you cum onto his dick. He picks your body up and turns you around to face him. He kisses you as he slides his dick inside of you, making your yelp. “Shh~ its okay, I have you. Daddy has you.” He says as he pulls you closer, slowly pushing his dick in until he bottoms out. He begins fucking into you, making you bounce on him. He lifts your shirt up and watches your tits bounce as you move up and down on him. He smirks at how embarrassed you got at this. “Is my little baby embarrassed? You’re so adorable.” He said before grabbing one of your hands, holding it as he fucks into you harder. Your moans get louder and louder as you feel yourself getting closer to cumming. “Just like that, cum for me baby.” He says before playing with one of your tits. “I’m going to cum inside of you okay? Can you handle that doll?” He asks. He let out a few yes’s before cumming on his dick for the second time. He slams into you a few more times before spilling his seed into your pussy.
He pulls you off of his dick and gets a paper towel to clean you both up with. He puts his clothes back on before sliding your underwear back onto you. He lays on the couch and pulls you in. The credits of the movie roll as you fall asleep.
Forever Young
Dad!Muichiro x Mom!Reader
desc: Muichiro and reader have a 6 year old girl, Aurora, who asks for a story on how her mother met her father. ————————————————————————
I was sitting on the couch reading a book when Aurora came bustling down the stairs. “Mommy!” I looked up from my book seeing her run towards me, a smile appeared on my face. “Yes sweetie?” I softly closed the book I was reading and placed it beside me. I noticed she had something in her hand, a photo. “Mommy, who are they?” She held the photo up to my face and I couldn’t help but recognize the teen boy with black hair and teal tips, and a girl beside him with dark, long hair. I laughed gently as I took the photo from her. “This is me and daddy. We were both 17 at the time.” She had crawled up beside me and looked at the photo and back to me in astonishment. “That’s you and daddy!?” You laughed and nodded. “Mommy?” “Yes?” She hesitated for a moment before asking, then shot up with excitement. “How did you meet daddy?” Just then my husband walked down the stairs. “Have you asked her yet?” My daughter looked over at him. “Uh huh! Mommy’s telling me now!” He chuckled and came over to sit beside her. “Now, let’s start from the beginning….”
————————————————————————
It was a chilly fall day, I decided to take a walk in the park. The park wasn’t busy except for the occasional older couples walking their dogs. I kept some gloves in my back pocket just in case it got too cold. Unfortunately it did, I went to grab them, when I noticed they weren’t there. I huffed. “Great.” As I kept walking, I heard some footsteps behind me like someone was running. “Excuse me!” I turned around and saw a boy coming up to me. The first thing I noticed about him was his hair. It was unique. It was black with teal tips, it was pretty. “Um..yes?” He pulled something out of his coat pocket and handed it to me. “I think you dropped these.” I looked at what he was holding and it was my gloves. “Oh thank you! I was looking for these.” I gave him a smile as I took them from him. As I turned to walk away, he stopped me again. “Can I..join you?” “Sure!” Ever since that day the two of us hung out nearly everyday, and even found out we went to the same school.
It seemed the be love at first sight for me. Every time I saw him my heart fluttered. I was sitting in the library finishing up some homework, when he joined me. “Hey Y/n.” I looked up from my paper and greeted him. “Hi Mui.” I noticed he seemed a little embarrassed. “You okay?” He nodded and sat down infront of me. “Hey Y/n?” “Yeah?” “Do you want to..I don’t know, go on a date?” My eyes went wide hearing his question. I was dreaming of the day he would ask me out. “Of course!” His demeanor completely changed back into his normal self. “Great! I’ll pick you up around 7?” “Works for me. Where are we going?” He chuckled. “It’s a surprise.” I rolled my eyes playfully at him and nodded.
I had went that whole day curious about where he was taking me. Once I got home, i immediately went to pick out an outfit. It was winter now and it was cold. I picked out a sweater and some jeans and would pair it with a nice coat. I took a quick shower and did my hair. He stayed true to his word and picked me up at 7 on the dot. “So where are we going?” “You’ll see.” He took me to my favorite restaurant then an arcade. I was a lot better than him when we played games. It made him mad, but it was hilarious.
As the night ended, he dropped me back off at my house. “I had a great time.” “Me too.” We looked into each other’s eyes. His teal eyes were beautiful. He put his hands on my waist, and I put my hands around his neck. He pulled me into a sweet kiss. My heart fluttered and my knees wanted to collapse out from under me. He pulled away and his fingers brushed the hair from my face. “That was..incredible.” I smiled at his comment. “Yeah, it was.” We stayed like that for a few seconds before I realized I had to go inside. “I better go now. Bye.” “Oh uh, yeah. Bye.” We have each other one last hug and he left. I couldn’t stop thinking about the kiss we shared, my heart fluttering every time I thought about it.
The next day he asked me to be his girlfriend, and I accepted. We dated for 8 years before he proposed on our 9th year anniversary. After being engaged for a year, we got married. We’ve been married ever since, and even had a beautiful little girl. ————————————————————————
She looked at me with wide eyes. “I hope I meet a boy like daddy!” I chuckled. “Me too sweetheart.” She paused for a moment like she was thinking. “Mommy?” “Yes sweetie?” She looked at me and Muichiro. “How did you have me?” Muichiro nearly fell off the couch from laughter. I looked at her and laughed nervously. “That will be a story for another day, it’s time for bed now. Let’s go.” “Aww okay. Goodnight daddy.” She gave him a hug and he gave her a kiss on her forehead. “Goodnight darling, sleep well.” She smiled and ran off to her room.
When we were young
Ben (Soldier Boy) Harrison x F/Reader Y/N
Contains/warnings: 18+, Smut, Childhood/ family trauma, puberty, losing virginity, dead of parent(s), time jumps, angst, fluff, hurt, ...
Side note: English isn’t my first language
Words: 7000
*Does not follow the boys storyline – Set in a time period where Ben was not yet a supe. Since we don’t know his last name, I came up with Harrison for this story.*
--
Y/N is a young girl who works with her mother as a maid in the household of Mr. Harrison and his son Ben. Since Ben was mostly in boarding school and Y/N till this summer in a normal school, they didn’t know each other very well.
This summer it all changed, Y/N had to help her mother financially and Mr. Harrison was so kind to let her work with her mom in his house. That’s when she met Ben, his son who was only a year older than her.
Soon the kids became best friends... but is that all there is? Friendship?
--
It was the hottest June I could remember, the kind where the air felt thick and the sun seemed to never set. Mom had worked at the Harrison estate for as long as I could recall, her hands roughened by years of scrubbing and polishing.
She always said it was honest work, and I believed her, but I couldn't help but wish for something more for us. That summer, I started working alongside her. It was the first time I'd be spending most of my days in the grand old house on the hill, a place that seemed to belong in a different world altogether.
The Harrisons were well-off, and their home reflected it, with its sprawling lawns, marble floors, and rooms that echoed with emptiness. Mr. Harrison was a stern man with a permanent scowl who owned half of the steel industry in town, the kind that made you feel like you were always doing something wrong, even when you weren’t.
Ben was home from boarding school for the summer. I’d heard about him from Mom, seen his pictures in the grand hallway, a boy with green eyes and freckles, always looking slightly out of place in his stiff school uniforms.
He looked nice, a clean boy with mystery in his eyes, mom told me that he lost his mother a few years back, since then his father sends his to boarding school. He had the posture of his father but the kindness of his mom. But nothing could prepare me for meeting him in person.
I was dusting the library when I first saw him. The door creaked open, and I looked up, expecting to see Mr. Harrison, but instead, it was a young boy about my age, his green eyes wide with curiosity while he hung against the frame.
“Hi,” he said, a little shyly. “I’m Ben.” “I’m Y/N,” I replied, trying to keep my voice steady. “I work here with my mom.” He nodded, “I know. I’ve seen you around the house this week.”
“How old are you?” He asked “Thirteen,” I said while continue doing my job. “How ‘bout you?” I saw his perfect lips curl into a smile “Fourteen.”
We stood there for a moment, awkwardly, until he stepped inside, his eyes scanning the rows of books. “Do you like to read?” “Sometimes,” I said, following his gaze. “But I don’t have as many as you do.”
Ben nodded, a shadow passing over his face. “Yeah, I get that.” I didn’t know then about the things he carried, the weight of his mother’s death earlier that year or the way his father’s harsh words echoed in his head.
“Here.” He said handing me an old book. “It’s my favourite.”
He was kind but I could see the sadness in his eyes, the kind that doesn’t go away with time. As the weeks passed, we fell into an easy companionship. Ben would help me with my chores, carrying buckets of soapy water or reaching high shelves that I couldn’t. I didn’t think he liked the work, but he just wanted someone to talk to.
We talked about everything and nothing – books, school, the future we both dreamed of but felt so far out of reach. One afternoon, we were sitting under the old oak tree in the backyard for my break, the sun filtering through the leaves, casting dappled shadows on the grass.
Ben was unusually quiet, his gaze fixed on the horizon. “Are you okay?” I asked softly. He sighed, running a hand through his hair. “It’s my dad. He… he’s... Everything I do is wrong. I can’t make him happy.” I didn’t know what to say.
I’d seen Mr. Harrison’s temper, the way his face would turn red and his voice would rise until it seemed like the walls themselves were trembling. “I’m sorry,” I said finally. “That sounds really hard.” Ben nodded, his eyes meeting mine.
We sat there for a long time, the silence between us comfortable. As we were getting up from the grass so I could work again, Ben took the heavy bucket out of my hands, just as Mr. Harrison walked out. His eyes zoned in on Ben helping me, his face contorted with anger.
“What do you think you’re doing, Benjamin?” he roared, his voice echoing through the hallway. “I don’t pay you to laze around, girl! I pay you and your mother to do the work. Not him!” I froze. Ben’s grip tightened, his knuckles white against the handle.
He flinched at his father's words, shrinking back as if he’d been struck. I could see the fear in his eyes, a raw and vulnerable look that made my heart ache. “Dad, I was just...” Ben started, his voice small and shaky.
“You were just what?” Mr. Harrison cut him off, stepping closer. “Just wasting time? Just shirking your responsibilities? You think you can just do whatever you please?”
“It’s my fault,” I said quickly, stepping forward. “I asked Ben to help me. It won’t happen again, sir.” Mr. Harrison turned his glare on me, his eyes cold and hard. “See that it doesn’t,” he said, his voice low and threatening. “Get back to work."
He stormed off, leaving a heavy silence in his wake. Ben and I stood there for a moment, the bucket between us, the weight of his father's anger still lingering in the air. “I’m sorry,” Ben said finally, his voice barely above a whisper. “He’s not usually this bad, he just has a bad day.”
I shook my head, forcing a small smile. “It’s okay. Let’s just finish this.” I worked in silence for the rest of the day, the easy companionship we’d found overshadowed by the tension Mr. Harrison had left behind.
I couldn’t stop thinking about the way Ben had flinched, the fear in his eyes. It wasn’t right. No one should have to live like that. That night, as Mom and I walked home, I couldn’t hold it in any longer.
“Mom, why does Mr. Harrison treat Ben like that? It’s not fair.” Mom sighed, her shoulders heavy with the weight of her own experiences in that house. “Life isn’t always fair, Y/N. Mr. Harrison… he’s a hard man. Losing his wife made him even harder. Ben’s caught in the middle of all that anger and grief.” “
But it’s not Ben’s fault,” I insisted, frustration bubbling up inside me. “He’s just a kid, you never treated me like that when dad left.” “I know, sweetheart,” Mom said gently. “But sometimes, people lash out at those closest to them when they’re hurting. It’s not right, but it happens. All we can do is be kind and supportive where we can.”
Sometime later, at the end of the summer, I was dusting the grand staircase when I heard voices coming from Mr. Harrison’s study. The door was slightly open, and I couldn’t help but overhear the conversation inside.
“I don’t want to go back to boarding school, Dad,” Ben was saying, his voice strained. “You don’t get a say in this, Ben,” Mr. Harrison replied harshly. “You’ve been spending too much time with the maid, what will people say. You need to learn your place and some manners. Boarding school is just good for you.”
“But, Dad...”
“No! Pack your things. You’re leaving tomorrow. ”I stepped back, my heart heavy. The thought of Ben leaving filled me with an unexpected sadness. He was the only person in that big, cold house who made it feel warm and alive.
That evening, as the sun began to set right before we were about to leave, I sneaked up to Ben’s room. The door was slightly open, and I could see him inside, his suitcase half-packed on the bed. He looked up as I entered, surprise and relief flashing in his green eyes.
“Y/N,” he said softly, his voice tinged with sadness. “I heard you’re leaving,” I said, trying to keep my voice steady. He nodded, sitting down on the edge of the bed. “Yeah. Dad’s sending me back to boarding school.”
I took a step closer, my heart pounding. “I just wanted to say goodbye.” Ben stood up, his eyes locking onto mine. For a moment, neither of us moved, the air between us thick with unspoken words. Then, he stepped forward and pulled me into a hug. It was a quick, desperate motion, as if he was afraid to let go.
Butterflies fluttered in my stomach as I wrapped my arms around him, holding him tight. The feeling of his arms around me was both comforting and electrifying, and I felt a warmth spread through me that I hadn’t expected.
“Thank you,” he whispered into my hair. “For being my friend.”
“Always,” I whispered back, my voice choked with emotion. “You’ll be okay, Ben. You’re stronger than you know.” We stood there for what felt like an eternity, neither of us wanting to break the embrace.
Ben pulled back, “I’ll write to you,” he said, his voice firm. “Every chance I get.” I nodded, blinking back my own tears. With one last, lingering look, I turned and left the room, the weight of our goodbye settling heavily on my shoulders.
The next day, I watched from a distance as the car took Ben away, his face pressed against the window, watching the house grow smaller. I waved, even though I knew he couldn’t see me. And as the car disappeared from my view, I made another silent promise to myself: I would be here, waiting, whenever he came back.
Almost a year had passed since Ben left for boarding school. True to his word, he wrote to me whenever he could. His letters were my lifeline to him, filled with stories about his life there.
At first, they were full of loneliness and homesickness, how he didn’t have many friends and felt out of place. But gradually, the tone of his letters changed. He wrote about sneaking out of the dormitories, getting into trouble, and even about a girl he met while sneaking out, who had kissed him.
I couldn’t help but feel a pang of jealousy when I read that part. It felt like he was slipping away, becoming someone different. Someone who wasn’t just my Ben anymore. His letters became less frequent over the winter, and I was disappointed he didn’t come home for Christmas.
It made me worry about the kind of person he was turning into. But now it was summer, and he was supposed to stay for at least a few weeks. I felt a mix of nervous and happy to see him again.
Nervous because I wasn’t sure what to expect after all this time. Happy because, despite everything, he was still Ben, and I missed him more than I cared to admit. The day he arrived, the sun was blazing, and the air was thick with humidity. I was helping Mom in the garden, pulling weeds and tending to the flowers. We heard the car pull up, and my heart skipped a beat.
I wiped my hands on my apron and stood up, trying to calm the fluttering in my stomach. There he was, stepping out of the car, taller and more confident than I remembered. His green eyes still had that familiar spark, but there was something different about him.
A new hardness around the edges, a maturity that hadn’t been there before. He saw me standing by the garden and smiled, a slow, almost hesitant smile. “Y/N!” he called, waving. “Ben!” I called back, unable to keep the grin off my face.
I ran to him, my heart pounding with a mix of joy and anxiety. He met me halfway, and before I could say anything, he pulled me into a hug. It was different from the last one, more grown-up somehow, but it still felt like coming home.
The butterflies in my stomach were back, more intense than ever. “I’ve missed you,” he said, his voice soft in my ear. “I missed you too,” I replied, pulling back to look at him. “You’ve changed.”
He shrugged, a faint blush creeping up his neck. “Boarding school does that to you, I guess. But it’s still me, Y/N.” “I know,” I said, smiling. “Come on, let’s go inside. You must be tired or hungry, I can make you something.”
Mom watched us getting back to the house, Ben smiled polite and nodded to her when I pulled him by his arm. I couldn’t help but feel a little giddy. He was here, and for the next few weeks, we would be together again.
As we reached the door, I glanced at him, hoping that the boy I knew was still there, underneath all the changes. And as he looked back at me with that same old twinkle in his eye, I felt a flicker of hope.
Maybe things hadn’t changed as much as I feared.
That night at dinner, the tension in the dining room was palpable. Mr. Harrison dominated the conversation, droning on about business and politics, while Ben and I sat in uncomfortable silence.
Ben's father hardly acknowledged him, only speaking to tell him what he should or shouldn't be doing. I was helping Mom serve dinner, carrying plates of roast chicken and mashed potatoes from the kitchen to the table.
When I brought a fresh drink to Ben, he looked up at me and winked. It was a small, playful gesture, but it caught me off guard. I blushed, my cheeks heating up, and in my flustered state, I accidentally spilled some of the drink onto the table.
Mr. Harrison's face darkened, his eyes narrowing as he looked at Ben. “What’s the matter with you, Benjamin?” he snapped. “Haven’t you learned not to upset with a young girl like that, is that what they teach you in school? Look at the mess you’re causing.”
Ben's expression tightened, a flicker of the old fear and anger flashing in his eyes. “It was an accident, Dad,” he said quietly. “An accident,” Mr. Harrison scoffed, shaking his head. “You’ve been back for less than a day, and you’re already causing trouble. You’re an embarrassment.”
Ben clenched his jaw, his hands curling into fists on the table. I could see the effort it took for him to stay silent, to not lash out. My heart ached for him, wishing I could do something to make it better.
“I’m sorry, sir,” I said quickly, trying to defuse the situation. “It was my fault. I wasn’t upset, Ben didn’t upset me, Sir.” Mr. Harrison barely glanced at me, his attention fixed on his son. “Maybe you should learn from Y/N’s example, Benjamin. At least she knows how to take responsibility for her mistakes.”
Ben’s eyes met mine and I could see the hurt and frustration in them. He gave me a small, tight smile, trying to reassure me, but it didn’t reach his eyes. After dinner, I helped Mom clear the table while Ben retreated to the library.
Once the kitchen was cleaned up, I found him there, staring out the window into the darkening yard. His shoulders were slumped, the confident, playful boy I’d seen earlier replaced by someone who looked tired and beaten down.
“Ben,” I said softly, stepping into the room. “Are you okay?” He turned to look at me, his eyes weary. “I’m fine, Y/N. It’s just… him. He always knows how to get under my skin.” I walked over to him, placing a hand on his arm. “You don’t have to let him. You’re stronger than he thinks.”
He sighed, running a hand through his hair. “Sometimes it doesn’t feel that way.” I could feel the heat of his skin coming through his shirt “You’re not alone. I’m here.” I said. He looked at me, a small smile tugging at his lips. I smiled back, my heart fluttering, my eyes land on his perfect plump lips.
“Come on. Let’s go outside. The night’s too beautiful to waste in here.” We slipped out into the garden, the cool night air a welcome relief from the oppressive atmosphere of the house. As we walked, the stars twinkling above us, I could see some of the tension easing from Ben’s shoulders.
For a while, we just walked in silence, the only sounds the chirping of crickets and the soft rustle of leaves in the breeze. Finally, Ben spoke, his voice low and thoughtful. “I hate that he makes me feel like this,” he said. “Like I’m never good enough.”
“You are good enough,” I said firmly, stopping to look at him. “Don’t let him make you forget that.” He looked at me, his green eyes bright in the moonlight, his skin had a cool glow. “You’re amazing, Y/N. You know that?” I blushed again, looking down glad the night sky didn’t show it.
“I’m just being honest.” I said.
He reached out, lifting my chin so I had to meet his gaze. “And that’s why you’re amazing.” For a moment, we just stood there, looking at each other. Then, slowly, he leaned down.” My heart raced, I closed my eyes. “He kissed my cheek, a soft, lingering touch that sent a shiver down my spine. “Thank you, for being my only friend.” he whispered, his breath warm against my skin.
I opened my eyes, I don’t know if I had to be glad or disappointed but I knew he meant well.” Same goes for you.” I whispered.
That summer, Ben and I spent as much time together as we could. We explored the woods behind the estate, swam in the cool creek that wound through the property, and lay in the grass watching the clouds drift by.
Every moment felt precious, like I was storing up memories to carry me through the long months when he’d be gone again. In the back of my mind, I couldn’t help but hope that Ben would start to feel the same way about me as I did about him.
But as the days passed, it became clear that his heart was somewhere else. Or rather, with someone else. Her name was Emily. Ben had met her while he sneaked out on night, and he couldn’t stop talking about her. Emily was funny, Emily was smart, Emily loved to read the same books he did.
Each mention of her name felt like a small, sharp pang in my chest, but I forced myself to smile and listen, pretending it didn’t hurt. One afternoon, we were sitting by the creek, our feet dangling in the cool water.
Ben was skipping stones across the surface, his eyes alight with excitement. “And then Emily said,” he began, launching into another story about her. I nodded, trying to keep the smile on my face. “She sounds great,” I said, forcing the words out. “She is,” he said, grinning. “I wish you could meet her. You’d like her.”
“Yeah,” I replied, looking down at the water. “Maybe one day.” He didn’t notice the strain in my voice, too wrapped up in his own thoughts he just kept rambling on “That’s great, Ben,” I said, my heart sinking. I wanted to be happy for him, I really did. But it was hard when it felt like I was losing him to someone I’d never even met.
As the weeks went by, I tried to push my feelings aside, to focus on the time we had together. We laughed and talked and shared secrets, and I clung to those moments, hoping they would be enough to sustain me. But no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t shake the sadness that settled in my chest whenever Ben mentioned Emily.
It was a constant reminder that his heart belonged to someone else, and no amount of wishing could change that. One evening, as we sat on the porch steps watching the sun set, I couldn’t hold it any longer.
“Ben,” I said softly, staring at the horizon, “do you ever think about the future?” He glanced at me, a curious look on his face. “Of course. Why?” “I just… I wonder what it’ll be like. For us, I mean.” I kept my eyes fixed on the setting sun, afraid to see his reaction. He was silent for a moment.
He reached out and took my hand, his grip warm and reassuring. "You’re important to me, you know that right?” A flicker of hope washed over me. “You’re my best friend.” at there goes it again, my heart sank. “Thanks, Ben,” I whispered, squeezing his hand. It wasn’t the answer I wanted but I couldn’t tell him.
As the summer drew to a close, I tried to make the most of every moment we had left. I laughed at his jokes, listened to his stories, and pretended my heart wasn’t breaking a little more each day.
When the time came for him to leave, we stood by the gate, the same place where we’d said goodbye the year before. He hugged me tightly, and I held on, trying to memorize the feel of his arms around me.
“I’ll write to you,” he promised, pulling back to look at me. “I know you will,” I said, forcing a smile. He gave me one last, lingering look, then turned and walked away.
--
Dear Y/N,
I hope you’re doing well and everything’s good back home. How’s your mom? I miss you both. The house must feel so empty without all of us around. Sometimes, I miss the quiet of the estate and the sound of the creek we used to visit. Things here at school are… well, they’re complicated.
Remember Emily? Turns out, things didn’t work out between us. She left for another school, and we kind of lost touch. It was hard at first, but I guess it was for the best. Life moves on, right?
Speaking of moving on, there’s someone new I want to tell you about. Her name is Cathy. She’s got this incredible red hair that shines like copper in the sunlight, and she’s got the most beautiful long legs.
She’s not just pretty; she’s smart and funny, too. We’ve been spending a lot of time together, and she makes this place a little more bearable. Cathy’s different from anyone I’ve ever met. She’s confident and knows what she wants. I feel like I can be myself around her, which is a nice change.
She’s been helping me with my history homework, and I’m helping her with different things. It’s a good balance.
I can’t wait to see you again. I’ll be home for Christmas this year, so we can catch up properly. Maybe we can visit the creek and talk like we used to. I miss those talks.
Take care, Y/N. Write back soon and tell me all about what’s happening there. I want to hear everything.
Yours always,
Ben
**
Dear Ben,
It was so good to get your letter. I’m glad to hear things are going well for you at school and that you’ve met someone who makes you happy. Cathy sounds wonderful, and I’m really glad you have someone like her in your life.
Things here have been… difficult. My mom is very ill. The doctors don’t know if she’s going to make it till Christmas. It’s been so hard watching her get weaker every day.
Your dad has been kind enough to pay for the medical bills, but I have to work twice as hard now. The house feels so empty without you, and I miss the times we spent together more than ever.
It’s strange how life can change so quickly. One moment, everything feels normal, and the next, it’s like the ground has shifted beneath your feet. I’ve been trying to stay strong, but some days it feels impossible.
Your letters help, though. They remind me of better times and give me something to look forward to. I miss you, Ben. I miss our talks, just having you around, you know? The creek feels lonely without you, and the oak tree doesn’t feel like our spot without you sitting beside me.
I hope you can come home for Christmas. I know it’s a lot to ask, but I really need a friend right now. Take care of yourself, Ben, please write back soon.
Your letters mean the world to me.
Yours always,
Y/N
--
A few days before Christmas, everything changed.
My mom’s battle with illness came to an end, and the world seemed to stop turning for a moment. The grief was overwhelming, and I felt lost in a sea of sorrow. Mr. Harrison was kind enough to allow me time off to arrange the funeral, but it was a blur of tears and heartache.
On the day of the funeral, Ben came home. I didn’t expect to see him so soon. But when he heard what happened he jumped on the first train home. On the day of the funeral, he stood at the back during the service, a quiet figure under a tree, watching from a distance.
When it was time for one more greeting, he walked up to me last. His presence brought a small comfort, a reminder of the friendship we shared. I couldn’t hold back the tears when he approached me.
He held out a bouquet of the most beautiful flowers I had ever seen. They were a mix of roses and lilies, vibrant and full of life, just like my mom had been. I took them from him with trembling hands, unable to find the words to express my gratitude. “They’re for your mom,” Ben said softly, his voice thick with emotion. “I thought… she deserved something beautiful.”
My tears now flowed freely, a mixture of grief and relief to see him there. Ben didn’t say anything at first; he just pulled me into a gentle hug, his warmth a balm to my broken heart. After a moment, he stepped back and looked at me. I knew he knew what I felt.
After the funeral, Ben stayed with me as I faced the daunting task of packing up my mom’s belongings. His presence made the sorrow a little easier to bear, his quiet strength a steady anchor in the storm of emotions.
As the days passed and Christmas drew nearer, Ben helped me with everything, from organizing, to going to the shop and putting up the tree and lights. His kindness and understanding meant more to me than words could express.
On Christmas Day, they sat in the dining room, the twinkling lights of the tree casting a warm glow over the room. It wasn’t the Christmas I had imagined, but it was good that I had to work, I could at least try to keep my mind off of things.
During dinner, while I was busy working around the table, Mr. Harrison's question caught me off guard. "Y/N, where will you live now?" he asked, his voice surprisingly gentle. I paused, setting down a plate, unsure how to respond.
With my mom gone and my dad out of the picture for many years, the reality of my situation was stark. I couldn’t afford to keep our room anymore, and I hadn’t yet figured out my next steps.
Mr. Harrison continued, his tone almost compassionate, "You know, Y/N, the house feels empty. I could use some extra help who lives in house. You wouldn’t get paid as much anymore, but you’d have a roof over your head and three meals a day. What do you say?”
His offer took me by surprise. “I… I don’t know what to say,” I stammered, feeling a mix of gratitude and hesitation. “Your mom has been part of this household for so long, Y/N,” Mr. Harrison said, his expression softening. “You’re like family. It’s the least I can do.”
I glanced at Ben, who was watching silently from his seat. His eyes met mine briefly, and I saw a flicker of understanding and support. “Thank you,” I finally managed to say, my voice barely above a whisper. “I gladly accept your offer, sir.” Relief washed over me, knowing I would have a place to stay, at least for now.
It wasn’t what I had imagined for myself, but in that moment, it was the best option I had. I would figure out the rest as I went along.
After dinner, Ben knocked softly on the door of my new room, and I welcomed him in with a smile. The space was bigger than what I was used to, but it felt warm and safe, a stark contrast to the uncertainty I had felt just days ago.
He climbed on my bed, my hearts raced, As we lay side by side on the bed, the room illuminated softly by the lamp on the bedside table, I couldn’t help but remark, “You know, Ben, this is the nicest room I’ve ever slept in.”
He chuckled softly, his eyes meeting mine in the dim light. “I’m glad you like it. You deserve to have a nice place to call home.” He reached out and squeezed my hand. “You’re family, Y/N. We take care of each other.”
We talked late into the night, sharing memories of our summers together and dreams for the future. The weight of my grief felt lighter with Ben by my side, his presence a comfort in the darkness. Then, in a quiet moment, Ben confessed,
“I broke up with Cathy.” Surprised, I turned to look at him. “Oh? What happened?” He sighed, running a hand through his hair. “It just wasn’t working out. She was so jealous all the time, always questioning where I was and who I was writing to. It got exhausting.”
“I’m sorry, Ben,” I murmured, feeling for him. “That must have been tough.” He nodded, his expression somber. “Yeah. But maybe it’s for the best. I want someone who trusts me and who I can be myself around.”
“You’ll find someone like that,” I assured him, squeezing his hand. he smiled and turned to me "maybe" he said, I could have sworn I saw his face move closer to mine. Or maybe it was just my mind playing tricks.
A little later I drifted off to sleep, a sense of peace settled over me, knowing I was safe and cared for in my new home. Ben’s presence beside me brought a comfort I hadn’t felt in a long time.
As I lay there, he settled in beside me, his arm pulling me closer, his hand gently caressing my arm, I couldn’t help but feel a deepening connection between us.
In my dream, I saw him clearly, crawling on the bed hovering over me, like I was looking at an angel. The early morning sunshine streamed through the window, casting a warm glow over his face.
His freckles stood out like constellations against his skin, and his green eyes sparkled with a warmth that reached deep into my soul. His light brown hair, now kissed with hints of blond from the sun, framed his face perfectly. I couldn’t look away.
Mesmerized by his beauty, I felt my heart swell with a mixture of admiration and something more, a longing that I had been afraid to acknowledge until now. His perfect eyes looked at my lips before he closed the space between us.
I took a deep breath and as I woke from my dream, the lingering warmth of Ben’s touch on my skin brought a sense of comfort, but as I fully emerged from sleep, I realized he was no longer beside me.
A pang of disappointment and unease settled in my chest. I glanced around the room, half-expecting to see him there, but it was empty except for me. The covers beside me were cool and I couldn’t shake the feeling of his absence. I sat up, rubbing the sleep from my eyes, trying to push away the lingering traces of the dream and the sense of loss it had left behind.
Ben had left before morning, and although I knew it wasn’t unusual for him to be up early, a part of me wished he had stayed, just a little longer. I swung my legs over the edge of the bed, feeling the cool floor beneath my feet.
The emptiness of the room echoed the emptiness in my heart, reminding me of the fragile balance of our new arrangement. With a sigh, I stood up and began to get ready for the day, pushing aside my mixed emotions.
--
Ben’s POV:
As Ben woke that morning, he felt the soft weight of Y/N’s body nestled against him, her warmth a comforting presence in the early light filtering through the curtains. Opening his eyes, he watched as sunlight gently kissed her face, casting a serene glow over her features.
She looked so peaceful asleep, a stark contrast to the worries and uncertainties that often plagued their lives. Brushing a strand of hair away from her face, Ben couldn’t help but feel a surge of conflicting emotions.
In the quiet of the morning, with Y/N in his arms, he allowed himself to acknowledge the depth of his feelings for her. Her friendship had always been a constant in his life, a source of strength and understanding.
But now, as he looked at her sleeping form, he realized that his feelings had shifted, deepening into something more. He broke with any girl the second he realised they weren’t like her. Why he didn’t confess to her? He was afraid to let her go, afraid of losing the bond they had shared for so long.
The thought of risking their friendship for something uncertain weighed heavily on his mind. Yet, in that moment, with her soft breaths against his chest and the warmth of her body against his, he couldn’t deny the pull he felt towards her.
Quietly, he traced the curve of her cheek with his finger, saving the moment to memory. Ben reluctantly untangled himself from Y/N's embrace. Her soft breathing and the warmth of her body lingered in his mind as he quietly slipped out of the room.
He paused by the doorway, casting one last glance back at her sleeping form, conflicted emotions swirling within him. He knew he had to leave before she woke up. The weight of their evolving relationship and the fear of jeopardizing their friendship weighed heavily on his heart.
Closing the door softly behind him, Ben took a deep breath, trying to steady his thoughts.
--
Weeks passed and I didn’t receive a single letter from Ben yet. I wondered if I did anything wrong? Mr. Harrison was very nice to me the days Ben wasn’t home. I did do the household as told but he asked me to join him for dinner.
He said eating alone wasn’t fun for the both of us, so he asked me to join him in the dining room. I accepted since I was the only maid who stayed at the house and ate the same meal.
Ben’s POV:
Ben had made a few new friends at boarding school. Since he beat up a fellow student some of the tougher guys at school started to like him. And found himself in a situation he had never anticipated.
His new friends, older and more experienced, had convinced him to sneak out for a night of drinking. As they laughed and joked, the thrill of being accepted by this group masked his growing unease.
In the dimly lit bar, the boys stood amidst the haze of alcohol. It was a quiet night, only them and a woman, who did seem to approach him. She was older, maybe around 25, and her confidence was palpable. Ben felt a mix of excitement and nervousness as she leaned in close, her perfume enveloping him. "
“Hey there, handsome," she purred, her voice husky with allure. "Care to join me for a drink?" Ben's heart raced. He had never been in a situation like this before. His friends egged him on with knowing smirks, whispering encouragement that only fuelled his curiosity and apprehension.
Caught between the desire to fit in and the uncertainty of what was happening, Ben hesitated. He wasn't sure how to respond to this bold advance from a woman who seemed so sure of herself.
Deep down, though, he knew this wasn't what he wanted. He thought of Y/N, the girl who had always been there, understanding and kind. As the woman leaned closer, her perfume enveloping him in a heady haze, Ben felt a surge of conflicting emotions, excitement, fear, and a deep-seated longing for something more meaningful.
As Ben agreed to accompany the woman to a more private booth, backs facing his friends. His mind raced with a mix of exhilaration and nervousness. His older friends continued to joke and laugh at the bar, seemingly unconcerned with what was unfolding.
In the dimly lit booth, the woman wasted no time in making her intentions clear, her hand caressed his thigh, her eyes never leaving him, while her tongue moved ever so slow over her lips. She moved close to Ben, her touch bold and unfamiliar.
Her actions were assertive, almost aggressive, leaving Ben feeling overwhelmed and out of his depth. As she leaned in closer, whispering suggestive words in his ear, Ben struggled to respond. His thoughts raced back to the one girl he truly cared about, the one he wished he could share moments like this with Y/N.
He felt a pang of guilt and regret, knowing that this experience was far from what he truly wanted. He didn't want to appear inexperienced or foolish in front his new friends, especially after they had egged him on and joked about the situation.
With a mix of nervousness and a desire to please, Ben hesitated for a moment. The woman's eyes searched his, a mix of anticipation and assurance. In that fleeting moment, Ben made a split-second decision, he leaned in and kissed her. The kiss was awkward and uncertain, lacking the passion and connection he had imagined in his fantasies.
It felt more like a performance, a scripted response to the situation he found himself in. But his teenage body thought differently. The physical sensations sparked by the kiss and the woman's closeness stirred a primal reaction.
His heartbeat quickened, adrenaline surged through his veins, and a sense of exhilaration momentarily masked the discomfort and uncertainty he felt. In that fleeting moment, the physicality of the kiss overpowered the intellectual and emotional dissonance he experienced.
His teenage body, attuned to new experiences and heightened sensations, responded with a not to ignore erection.
Her hand moved down and Ben did his best to keep his breath steady. The woman looked over her shoulder to his friend, but all of them were too busy to get drunk. She slipped in between his knees, Ben’s eyes widen.
“What are you...” But she hushed him with a finger over his mouth. Within a minute he felt her lips around his erection. The feeling made him react on instinct, throwing his head back and letting out a deep breath.
The second after that he felt a little unsure, looking around, the woman noticed, ordering him to look at her. Unable to think straight he closed his eye, his mind raced back to Y/N. The sight of her working him made it hard not to let go.
When she noticed he had a hard time keeping control he lifted her skirt and straddled him, it was the first time Ben had felt a woman like that, it wasn’t what he expected of it, but it was nice, almost an addicted feeling. A few rough bounced from her and he couldn’t hold back anymore.
While he tried to hold his groans quiet, she pulled him to her chest. The second his release ebb away she stood up and walked away towards the bar. Ben let his head fall back out of breath and watched her. She walked over to his friends, one of them handed her money.
He looked at Ben and smirked, he just shook his head thinking that his friends were crazy. As he rejoined them, they all laughed. Saying how he now was a real man. The one who paid smacked a hand on his shoulder.
“Since you seemed unable to find a girl who was willing to all the way with you, we thought we might lend you a hand.” Ben shook his head smiling. “By paying a fucking hooker?” The guys started laughing. “Yeah, well next time you need to find your own pussy, Benny-boy.”
He smiled like the rest of them, but deep down he felt guilty. How was he supposed to act around Y/N now? How was he going to be able to look her in her eyes and act normal ever again?
Stick Season
Pairing: Emily Prentiss x reader, Larissa Weems x reader
Warnings: angst, hints of miscarriage
The team sat drinking in Emily's apartment “Oh and what about that woman you dated! The pretty one” Morgan laughed “Y/n?” She responded confused. “Yeah! What happened to her?” Penelope gasped wide-eyed “Um- she moved away” Emily swallowed.
“She was so pretty” JJ sighed leaning back on the sofa “I still remember her babysitting Henry for me” she smiled “She has talent” JJ tilted her drink. The radio played softly in the background as the group made Emily's ex the main subject "Imagine having to tell people how badly you fumbled" Morgan shook his head.
Penelope hummed along before starting to sing, JJ joined in until Spencer and Morgan hummed too "And I'm terrified of the weather, 'cause I see you when it rains". Emily closed her eyes listening to the music, Hotch and Rossi looked knowingly. This was you.
"Doc told me to travel, but there's COVID on the planes" They all stood to dance not realising the lyrics just yet or maybe they did. "And I love Vermont but it's the season of the sticks" Emily's eyes opened you always wanted to visit Vermont, that's where your mum was from. It had been two years almost since you had broken up "And I saw your mom, she forgot that I existed" Emily wanted to laugh.
"And it's half my fault, but I just like to play the victim" She knew it was partly a dig at her "I'll drink alcohol 'til my friends come home for Christmas". You never drank because your dad was an alcoholic "And I'll dream each night of some version of you!!!" Spencer's voice cracked.
"That I might not have, but I did not lose" Emily quickly stood, on a race to the bathroom, closing the door only making the music seem louder. "No, I am no longer funny 'cause I miss the way you laugh. You once called me forever now you still can't call me back."
She had to find you and it wasn't hard she knew you tried to contact her still Emily watched the phone ring through unable to face she had hurt you. Stick season was the name of your song. It came out a year ago but now you were posting some gorgeous blonde on Instagram,
You were finally doing everything you had always planned, you looked happy Larissa had proposed on your anniversary she seemed nice. The more she scrolled Larissa was a principal for what school it didn't say but your following had boosted. You'd made it just like you spoke about.
There was another picture- a few actually that stood out a picture of a dove but you were scared of birds the caption read Joanne Prentiss. Emily didn't know a Joanne and definitely not one with her last name, it was posted a few months after you broke up. Another picture closer to when you had moved out was two plates but only one set of cutlery. It flew over Emily's head, had you been seeing Larissa longer than the internet said?" she wondered still stalking you.
"I hope this pains just passin' through, but I doubt it" Emily slumped against the bathtub watching the last two years of your life in pictures. Everyone made sure to remind her how she let you go but back then it felt best.
You will marry Larissa who helped you gain your shine back and she'll rot at work, you will continue a family while hers will grow without her. You will be happy and that's all she could hope for until she accidently liked a post from when you moved to Vermont.
"Em? Are you okay?" you messaged not long after but Emily couldn't bring herself to say the truth "I'm great, Penelope was on my phone" she frowned. 'Okay, I'm just checking but it's good to hear you're still alive' Two years for this, Emily still lying. It's the alcohol she tried to pass 'Yeah I guess, I heard your song it's...' Emily typed only to delete it 'Yeah, I'm sorry I wasn't there' No Emily.
'I love you- no' 'yeah I guess so, I see you're well' the song was coming to an end "Now your tire tracks and one pair of shoes. And I'm split in half, but that'll have to do" JJ sang loudly. It took a moment for you to respond 'Yeah it took a while, life was tough but it wasn't anything I hadn't gone through before'.
'Can we be friends?' Emily was quick to text 'I'm not sure, you really hurt me but only time will tell. I have to go now Em, Larissa just got home but please take care'.
This is my journey if anyone’s interested (its kinda long to read): For me, it’s a mix of multiple factors. I’ve always acted kinda different from my schoolmates (random noises, unconsciously doing animalistic things) so I thought I was just a weirdo, and that was fine. It wasn’t until a couple years later that I heard about therians for the first time at school. People where less then friendly when they where talking about them though (and they didn’t seem to actually know what a therian was, they just assumed it was a furry(not that furries are bad!)) Anyways, I went home and did a lot of research, and some of the things I read just started to click! I also watched Therian Territory videos and that helped too. I started a journal because I knew I might just be getting exited over nothing, I still wasn’t sure if I was a therian or not. After about another year, the whole idea had kinda faded into the background, but I still questioned every once and a while. But after I kept having shifts and noticing them, I re-started my journal and eventually came to the conclusion that I was a therian. That was pretty much my awakening; it felt great! I did more research to see if I had a specific theriotype/s and knew by instinct that I was a dessert animal (though I’ve always loved forests, but oh well) I did lots of searching and learned about lots of animals. I thought maybe at first I was a rodent, and stuck with that for a while. but a few months later I had a dream shift of snuggling up with foxes. I immediately started doing research again and confirmed after another month of questioning that I was a Corsac Fox. It felt so much more natural then when I thought I was a gerbil, and ever sense it’s been easier to connect with my theriotype (I’m still questioning if I might be a rondent though because something made me believe before) Fox shifts are fun! And my mom has been supportive of me ever sense I told her even though she doesn’t understand. I go outside regularly to try to connect with my theriotype and hope that one day I’ll meet other therians!
I hope you’re journeys where just as good, and that you found acceptance. I hope you’re happy being yourself. Comment your Alterhuman journey if you’re comfortable, I’d love to hear about it! And remember; everyone has different experiences and journeys, awakening could take years or days, but all Alterhumans and therians are beautiful!!!
Also pls reblog so we can get as meany answers as possible, thanx!
