It was the start of the day and just like clockwork Dr. Kenning Flug entered his boss's office with two steaming mugs of coffee and his clipboard under his armpit.

7:05 am - Coffee Meeting before breakfast.

Flug subconsciously checked that box off in his head as he greeted his elderitch boss, who had already held open the newspaper of the daily Hatsville News.

"Evil Morning Boss."

BlackHat kept his eyes on the news as he hummed his response and took ahold of his mug in one hand. After taking a small sip, he put the newspaper down to give his scientist his attention.

"It truly is an evil morning Flug. It seems that your last invention has been used to incinerate that blasted church in the dark of the night." he gave a dark chuckle and took another sip of his coffee.

Flug strained not to roll his eyes as he looked fondly at his boss. "You must be extremely pleased, sir."

BlackHat gave him a grin full of canines as his answer. "Over the moon, in fact."

It has been over a month since the city people came together and built a church on the other side of the city behind BlackHat's back. They worked quickly while he and Flug were out on a business trip. The blasted holy place was adored for the safety it gave to those with faith against the demon. It made their fears of the supervillain tolerable.

This was an outrage to the demon in more ways than just one. First of all, it went against specific laws that humans weren't aware demons and angels abide from. Secondly, the church held an aura of protection of a radius that was close to half of Hatsville. Meaning if BlackHat wished to go out anywhere, he could only go so far, and that put him in a corner.

No one corners BlackHat and lives.

What was worse was that it shifted the whole city dynamic. It didn't just bother BlackHat but all other demonic beings who lived in the area. They were all either accidentally purged by the protection or were run off their own communities. All seemed to have the right idea to seek protection in the shadow of the elderitch who was ready to snap the island in half and flip the rock to watch in glee as the humans drowned in their forsaken holy protection.

As well deserved and comical to watch it happen, Flug had to deter him out of the idea because...well, he loved living.

"Make note to send my thanks to the soul that did this." BlackHat said.

Flug did so in his clipboard. He cleared his throat before getting straight to business. Today was going to be a busy day.

"Sir, I just need to go through some little details with you involving certain side experiments and the routinely finance of the company -

BlackHat groaned.

Flug sent him a pointed look that BlackHat couldn't meet as he crossed his arms in annoyance.

"Sir - "

"Is it really necessary to go through the finances, Doctor?"

Flug let his eyes finally roll freely.

"For the last time, sir, it is." he unclipped a couple of papers before setting them down to face his boss, who kept his gaze on the bagged human with a look of disdain.

Flug knew his boss loved his business with a burning passion. Truly did, and it always showed, but one thing he hated dealing with was finances. BlackHat was just like any super rich evil doer. They loved spending their money and making more to cover the gaps they took out, and then some.

That's why Flug dealt with it.

But after 6 months of working for his boss and seeing the fluctuations of the account, he placed his foot down to teach the horror how important it was to budget. It's been 2 years, and BlackHat still acted like a petulant child.

OH MAN OKAY So I have (4) main ones but really only (2) are actively getting written cuz their brainrot is Constant and All Consuming.

An elderitch monstrosity technically stuck in a human's body. They're not exactly fond of humans as much as they were summoned into a body to prove a theory by a scientist. They're still pissed about this because the audacity.

Have a slight ability to shift reality and to change it however they want. Rumour has it that that's how their previous doctor died... Of course, it's all but rumours and maybe a bit of myth.

Which means: they can alter their appearance however they want of their vessel (at this point it's basically another part of them),

Currently they look like they're in their 30s, blond and dark eyes. Known to stare just a bit too long at people. It's all observation!

Literally think humans are ants to be squished but pretends to be a human as their current faculty room is one that's easy to break out of. They're just bidding their time (also cuz they'd like to take a toy from here - which means a lucky human is going to be their plaything!)

Probably will commit crimes and throw tantrums if it means getting a somewhat normal conversation with a person. Please they crave entertainment so badly.

Leonardo Tucker

Congrats on this guy being the first one to have a face claim aka Cillian Murphy.

Everyone just calls him either: doctor or Leo. Names are intimacy and his full name is a mouthful.

He is honestly more or less lowkey and tries to keep to himself for the most part. But is incredibly rude when he does open his mouth though it worth noting that he's only like that towards strangers. With patients, he's a bit nicer albeit more clinical.

Does he has to dress in suits (namely shirts + waistcoats?) No. Leo simply wants to look like he's in control (actually he's hanging by the thread). For the most part, people do believe that he's in control but while he's great at lying to others, he's awful at lying to himself.

Absolutely HATES talking about himself in a way that would be comical if not for the sheer fact that he's never quite gotten over his time in the army and the dehumanizing effects it's had on him. His main thing is serving the public as a doctor, everything else comes second.

that's right! Leo's ex-military, discharged for asking questions about missions and how viable they would be. It's one of his patients that does it and it's why he's so tight lipped about everything now.

Potentially, probably bisexual but he's never put a label on it. He's slept with men in the army when he served but has had to keep it low-key. And then he gets discharged for other reasons.

In short: my type of fictional middle aged guy who's a wet cat of a fellow trying his best.

Wait b4 I get into that, idk how familiar you are with creepypasta (im assuming at least a little bit bc you asked this lol) but just to be safe: Creepypastas are internet horror stories, they're (imo) usually pretty sucky bc they're all written by 12yos, but whatever the fandom never sticks with Canon anyway. There's also the SlenderMansion AU (very popular, you've probably seen fanart of it) where the pastas all live together. Whos there depends in the person i guess? So for me its: Tim/Masky, Brian/Hoodie, Slender, Toby, Ben, Jeff, EJ, Jane, LJ, Smile Dog, Sally, and my parame Simon. Sometimes Jason & Slender's brothers are there, too.

I mostly daydream about Tim/Masky being my dad. and also Brian/Hoodie, being my other dad. They are Married <3

Tim is your typical tired dad, I guess? Him & Brian work for Slender with Toby (who've they also mentally adopted as their son/brother). Brian worries about everyone (he has anxiety) and is generally a mother hen ngl. Since I also mentioned Toby here (+ I want all the proxies together), he's a chaotic lil shithead but knows when to pull it together for serious situations. A more realistic version of the popular fanon, I guess.

If Tim is a Tired Dad then Slender is a Tired Grandpa <3 /j. He's the one that actually runs things & makes sure the pastas don't murder each other, especially Jeff & Jane. Its also hard to tell if he genuinely cares about the pastas or not - an elderitch being with no face is pretty good at hiding its true emotions, shocker ‐ but he does tolerate them living in his house, so. Probably? He secretly wants to be a dad let him have this.

Jeff.....has actually chilled out. Like. A Lot. I'm still toying with the idea of if he murdered his older brother, Liu, yet. Because if he didn't, then Liu would be a detective; but if he did, then Simon (my parame) would be able to see Liu (they're the para i mentioned that can see ghosts) & fix their relationship so Liu can move on. ANYWAY, personality-wise, he's still an ass but now its like. A Funny Asshole. Probably bc he spends to much time with LJ. He's also the primary caretaker of Smile Dog (he's a "family dog", but also Jeff's Dog, u know?).

Jane has also chilled out. In the sense that she isn't trying to murder Jeff on sight anymore. After some talking (and encouragement from Slender), they've decided to call it a truce (?) and more or less ignore each others existence unless necessary. It works surprisingly well.

Sally is. just a lil 8yo baby we love her <3. She's also the only child living at the mansion & kind of likes it that way. She likes being the only Baby so all the attention is on her 💖

The doctor looked at the male, his brows furrowed in mild confusion. He never thought for him to be so concerned for the well being of a stranger. He tilted his head slightly as he stood up, buttoning the top buttons to the shirt he wore. He was slightly indecent and now he just felt embarrassed. 

He sighed softly before smiling, holding the door open a little wider now. ���Can you bring them in..?” He asked, wondering who this person was. 

Besides, he mostly helped people he knew or people at the hotel. Or if he was paid to help them. Mostly because as an ex-angel, he knew almost everyone here deserved to be here.

The bear roared in pain at the first spill of the acid sprayed onto him. The concuction sizzled as it moved quickly in deteriorating the fur and running down to the skin and bone in a matter of seconds. Once it reached the muscle underneath, it started to spread slowly in its parameter. The sensation burned 505, who roared in anguished as it seeped down. He flailed his arm around, trying to cease the pain but to no avail in helping.

The men that surrounded his cage laughed, watching 505 try to get away from his own deteriorating arm. He would hit the bars with a clang every now and then and wail for help that wasn't coming.

"No!"

Flug found a way to rip himself away from the goon holding him down. He pushed forward to reach for the bottle of acid at the hands of the enemy but was suddenly tackled back down by the same man. Gasping in pain, he tried to struggle only to have the man place his knee on his neck.

"Enough Gilligan, pick him up." The Commanders voice boomed.

He inhaled immediately, blinking the white spots from his vision as he was forced back onto his feet. The man known as Gilligan kept a hold of his wrists behind his back, and the other kept a good hold on the metallic collar on his neck.

"Now, Doctor, I have a preposition for you."

He aimed the spray bottle back at the cage to 505. Flugs eyes widened in fear as he tried to push forward once more. He could hear Demencia in her own cage trying to escape. Even when her mouth was covered, he could hear her muffled screams.

"Don't hurt him!" Flug pleaded. "505 is innocent and has nothing to do with any of this!"

505 had gone quiet with silent sobs as he shook in pain, trying to claw the floor of his cage. Flug kept his eyes attentively on his creation-his son - trying to think of anything that he could use to heal him quickly before anything spread to any vitals.

The Commander kept his arm extended, aiming at 505. His eyes never wavered from the scientist as he tsk'd in disappointment.

"Oh, but Dr.Flug, he has everything to do since you created him with the wretched elderitch beings' blood." he spat out, snapping his eyes to look at Blackhat, who stood in his own special cage behind the scientist.

Flug shook as his stomach churned. He could feel himself sweating as his heart ran a mile away from him.

No one other than Blackhat himself knew the truth about 505's creation. It had taken so many sleepless nights and much back and forth to get the biochemicals to bond with the elderitch's DNA. It was a risk, but the end results ended with an indestructible failure that Flug would rather die than get rid of.

505 was the closest thing to a son Flug will ever have in his life.

To know that someone had constructed some form of concoction that truly hurt his boy was a nightmare to realize.

"-and because he is of blood of Blackhat, he must be destroyed." the Commanders voice got lower as he sprayed once more for 505's wounded arm.

Flugs heart jumped to his throat in pure panic as 505 yowl in agony as he threw himself around the cage. The man once more started to howl in sadistic enjoyment. The Commanders eyes glinted with pure joy as he watched the scientist struggle to get closer.

"Stop! He is innocent-he's harmless! He would never hurt anyone -" he sprayed once more, "N-NO 505!!"

The Commander was enjoying the chaos he was causing. He took delight in the screams of the bear, the laughter of his men, and over all the stricken pain in the doctors voice as he pleaded for him to cease.

Flug watched through teary eyes as 505 tried to scratch his arm off, wanting the torment to end. His dark blue blood squirted out and matted with his light fur through the process. His eyes looked feral with shed tears as he roared his lungs out.

Demencia covered her face, watching in silent horror as her own tears streamed down.

Blackhat kept his face devoid of any emotion as he watched the suffering bear and his struggling scientists. His hands tightened around the bar handles at every plea he heard Flug give as the Commander kept spraying on the same spot.

After a while, 505's right arm plopped to the floor with a thud, and immediately, so did the bear who heaved trying to catch his breath.

"P-please, I'll do anything. Just please leave him alone." he sobbed out, watching his son stop fighting the deterioration as that still continued onto his upper part of his arm. If he didn't act quickly it would be too late.

"Hmm...Anything, Doctor?" Commander made a wave with his hand, which was some form of sign to Gilligan to let him go and threw him to the floor.

"Y-yes! Just leave him alone!" He stood up looking at the man in front of him.

"Take the bag off."

"W-what!-

The moment of hesitation was all the Commander needed to maneuver the bottle and aim for 505s left leg next.

Another loud shriek erupted from 505 as he continued with his thrashing in his small cage. Flugs heart squeezed in guilt.

"Stop stop I'll do it!!"

And so the bag was off and between his trembling hands.

Everyone stared. No one but the wailing bear made a peep.

One of the men finally broke the silence by whistling loud enough to break the spell before he burst out in a bout of laughter and pointed at Flugs face.

"Oh my God,he is fucking adorable, ha!"

Flug swallowed as he kept his golden eyes on the Commander, who couldn't look away from him either.

"N-now leave 505 alone." he demanded.

The Commander gave the bottle to the closest goon as he walked close to him. He raised a hand to grab a freckled cheek and squeeze. "Huh?"

Flug didn't make any sudden movement as that hand raised to grab his disheveled curly brown hair. He let the man be distracted with him if it meant he would stop.

As if enraptured with pulling the coils and watching them spring back up through his fingers, the Commander started to mumbled. "You are younger than I thought, Doctor.."

Flug ignored him as he looked at the bottle and then at 505. The bear was heaving as he laid on the far corner away from his dismembered arms, now only muscle and bone. His eyes hazy with new tears looking tired of fighting the inevitable. Fur matted and dirtied with his own blood and sweat.

Flugs stomach dropped at the sight of the extended leg that was affected. He had aimed under the knee cap, and it was deteriorating faster than the arm.

It didn't look like 505 would last any longer..

"Just let me work on him, and I won't run."

The hand around his hair stilled. Grey cold eyes snapped down at him.

Flug swallowed as he clenched his first to prepare himself for his next words.

"I-I will do anything,j-just let me heal 505."

The Commander hmmm'd in contemplation before grabbing a huge amount of hair and putting force to push Flug down.

Flug hissed in pain, trying to pull himself free.

"Kneel." he commanded.

There were small snickers around them as he was forced down onto his knees. He was forced to look up at the burly man who looked down at him with an unreadable look.

Blackhat growled in the background.

"Now," he smirked down at the younger man, "Pledge yourself to me Dr.Flug."

"Don't you FUCKING DARE FLUG!!" Blackhat roared in anger.

Flug stayed quiet as he stared at the Commander. The light fixtures behind him make it hard to see his face.

"FLUG!!" Blackhat growled, making him jump. He tried to turn to look at his boss, but the hand holding his hair pulled him back to face up.

His mouth quivered knowing what would happen if he did.

Pledging himself to anyone else other than his boss would null his soul binding contract with him and could possibly kill him.

The Commander cocked his head to the side as he waited patiently.

"I-I-I..."

The small, painful whine snapped his attention back to his bear. His eyes started to tear up at the sight of his creation - his son, his 505, slumped on the corner looking worse by the second. His little yellow flower seem to be paling and wilting as one by one the petals started to fall around his snout.

His son watched him with tired eyes and still tried to give a reasuring smile to his terrified father. He was still looking out for Flug while he himself slowly died.

"I p-pledge myself to you Commander-

"FLUG YOU IMBECILE!!!"

Demencia was taken out of her cage by her hair. The giant woman held her dangling in the air as the lizard mutant curses of pain were muffled.

The giant muscular woman holding her snickered. "Now by default she is ours to Blackie!"

They all hollered as she yanked harder, watching the mutant try to escape her. They stared with hungry eyes.

Blackhat trashed.

Flug kept his eyes down as his now ex-boss cursed him out until he was electrocuted. They kept laughing louder at the loud shriek. The elderitch snarled, trying to get back up, which seemed futile as they kept tasing him for entertainment.

"Aw look at him, it's like he cares AHAHA!"

Flug turned, only to be held up in the air by Gilligan once more. His hands seem to roam up under Flugs shirt.

"Take them to the quarters and drop the bear and the demon down to the basement together." The Commander shouted.

One of the scruffy men pushing Blackhats cage hollered at the demon.

"Who would have thought that the great Blackhat was such a dog! A bitch of a babe and a cute twink! Ha you wouldn't mind if we share'em do yah pal?"

The only response was a growl as he tried to move. Any success ended with him only getting electrocuted once more.

this was a success for me in ways the star beast wasn't. there’s so much Food in this one. "to come home" "maybe i will save you", etc etc etc etc. It feels like it draws a close to 10 and Donna’s story... but not really bc “the story never ends”....aka: Fandom the ball is now in ur court, the ground is Fertile for us to produce decades upon decades of Gen Fic (and they even get a TARDIS a la deleted tentoo scene! so we aren't even confined to domestic stuff only!!!) it is our time to Feast. ON MESSAGING: This episode is, at the very least, made up of 2 hats: the first hat is " toymaker outfoxing The Dr." (no complaints in this), and the hat inside that hat is: “humanity going mad and being The Problem” ... this was good enough to be its own hat. but it is kinda forgotten? If this were a normal season I feel that would have been a full episode where we would feel the implications of it . maybe then I would respect it more as a Political Message / Social Criticism bc rn it feels very eye roll lib core / basic af... to Elaborate:

BC they're afraid and mad! their fear of the new makes them lash out!!!!" sure. but the reason *that's* dangerous is not bc suddenly everyone will start rowing on the streets, is bc 1% of ppl get *benefits* from this line of thinking. prejudices are not actually "born" out of "fear" and "madness" but are *carefully, intentionally constructucted and/or encouraged* by the dominant class)

On The Big Controversy:

Bigeneration rlly rlly works for me ... tbh On a couple levels… first, the mechanical: the doctor after TTC has been thoroughly portrayed as a Weird Thing more than any other time recently. Ppl used to joke about “elderitch horror” doctor before but now it feels like… way more real. The Doctor is really fucking weird !! so having them split like a cell? To survive? Yeah to me that feels like a very “yeah, this might as well happen”. After The Regeneration Limit has been throughout Debunked in-universe, it follows that we would question... just how much life is there in this fucking guy??? well, too much to be contained in one body, babes!

SO, that’s the mechanical level… but on the emotional level? I love it even more. The thing to understand is that... in this story, regeneration is *not* a device for telling a story about “accepting change” (that’s been done, lbr, more than enough times before). Here, it is actually doing a new thing for The Show: it is telling a story about “the journey of Healing” (hopefully, the first step in a very long Journey focused on that). 15 holding 14, embracing him… that’s just, well, it's moving man. 14 is a mess and 15 from what I’ve seen is Fucked Up In Brand New Ways… but here, in this moment, at least they’re starting to show a little bit of self-compassion. That’s one of the hardest things there is man, and for a character that has gone thru sm Grief and sm Trauma and shown so much downright self-destruction, self-sabotage, season after season after season… (literally saying ‘no’ to Yaz the day before for (reasons)!!!)…. And like, going against every other “the doctor can’t stand themeselves” character beat since The Power Of Tree (which I love don’t get me wrong but!! it's always had Implications!!)!!! ... well... It’s truly hopeful. It’s relatable. It’s beautiful. I'm sorry some dw fans are so tired of DT that they truly are missing out on something Monumental for the show / the character in general. That leads us to... ON THE TRANSITION FROM 13'S ERA

I also feel ngl fandom seriously worries about such… unimportant things all the time. “oh but having a DT with a tardis out there MIGHT make people think Ncuti isn’t legitimate!!!!” bro every other white doctor was already out there having adventures in the TARDIS every other week. Ppl who don't consider 13 or 14 as legitimate were already doing that by refusing to watch the show and sticking to the watching the 40+ seasons of white males as leads that are literally a click away. Like I’m sorry to bring up old fanwank but sdklfjsd god, honestly that was such a bizarre, intangible worry to have. When u actually watch the special w/o all these marketting worries... They very much …… don’t forget 13 in these specials . in fact it’s quite the opposite sdklf to get a true Understanding of all the layers going on in 14’s arc, 13’s story are p much requisite viewing. and I'm a flux Enjoyer thru and thru but c'mon, we all talked about how the resolution was fumbled sdlkfjsd it's Good that they are doing the fallout of 13 committing a triple genocide now!!! these specials actually elevated flux, not the opposite.

That said... god, they really should have mentioned Yaz there at the end in that "we loved her" bit re: Rose/River... I don’t know, it feels so glaring? if you didn't want to alienate the normies, why mention flux and (all the 32408 mentions of lore) in this? mentioning yaz seems so less dangerou in that case. idk. perhaps it was On Purpose and The Shoe Will Drop at some point with 15 (RTD is after all the man who gave us canon Nyssa/Tegan when he really didn’t Have To At All lol this guy would make all the companions gay if he could), but rn it’s like :/ thumbs down on that. just great "big event" dr who tbh! flawed and with some things that annoyed me but also with enough stuff to send me out to do/read fanworks for the next 15 years lol . nph annoys me sometimes but toymaker was perfectly done. lots and lots of character and lore implications to make me break the tumblr post character limit. execution wise... the effects were great and the set pieces really worked. messaging as i said was weak, tho like with the lack of enough Shirley+Kate+Mel+Rose development, knowing what we know from BTS news ... this is gonna be re-treaded ground again in a few weeks, so.. we'll see if this improves (or gets worse lol). watch this space~
